hrghhhh how would you even go about mending an felt and fabricked and metal based animatronic
#disco speaks!#I’m trying to use references cause like they wouldn’t be restored#but they would be cleaned up and repaired/replaced in some way??#like I’m thinking about springtrap btw#like maybe use rubber or a plastic shell (plastic would be prone to breaking) rubber might be too toxic to the actual decayed muscle#and general mummified tight skin/muscle underneath so maybe a silicone based sheet layer?#yeah silicone would make the most sense for that layer#and then having like sort of fire house material or hrmm like neoprene or Kevlar lining on top of that#for general protection#is the casing fully fused to him??#how the fuck does that work#cause with the other animatronics you are just welp child body decays in their and their soul is trapped#so eventually the body is decomposed and essentially no use to the interior and motor functions of the suit#however in springtrap’s case that is not the same#while it can perform on its own it’s meant to have a wearer in it to puppet the movements#so when his body dies does it fuse to just the endo inside??#BUT THERE IS NO ENDO INSIDE??#yeah cause wait#he is the endo of the suit#(skeleton inside a skeleton (skeletonception if you will))#there is supposedly bracing for the spring locks and the interior structure of the suit#I’m still baffled on how it would’ve stood up on its own ngl#I’ve made a puppet head with a metal strap to create the base and then used fabric and foam as a covering#but also that would abrasive I like the idea of the jumpsuit like the movie version has but again material would have been corroded by blood#and other organic fluids as a result of decomposition#like the stomach would have had leaking bile and so would most of the organs due to the punctures#and there is also bladder which becomes loose due to lack of muscle strength so those fluids would take effect#and then the jumpsuit would chafe skin and cause infection as well#well not really infection once deceased but like it wouldn’t help

Dream Theory Is Not Canon And Never Was
So I typical avoid addressing on MatPat and The Game Theorist as a whole directly say for sometimes when I think it is relevant. This is one of those case because MatPat basically created this "theory" and has tried many times to claim it was Scott's original intention. Alongside claiming he got this right and implying Scott changed it because he was right but also because people wouldn't like Dream Theory being correct.| This bit of information has lead to many FNAF Fans themselves believing Dream Theory was the originally intention or is even possibly still canon especially thanks to a misinterpretation of Five Nights At Freddy's VR: Help Wanted. So I'm going to point out the Smoking Gun on why Dream Theory is not only not canon, but was not Scott's original intent for the first 4 games.
So leading up to Five Nights At Freddy's: Ultimate Custom Night Scott made some joke posts about the game by updating the character guides of some characters on Steam, and would later update them, to their correct descriptions. These include.... Nightmare Fredbear “He appears suddenly in your office holding an alarm clock. You have only a moment to press the button and activate the alarm. If you press the button in time, you will awaken in your bed for ten seconds before falling back asleep and continuing the night.” Foxy “He will run into your office when things are looking dire and offer to help you. You can choose one of three ways for him to assist: He can block one door, clear the vents, or add 1% more power to your meter.” Phone Guy “He will call into your office at random, creating a lot of noise and momentarily increasing the aggressiveness of the animatronics. He cannot call, however, if Springtrap is in the vents, because he can't be in two places at the same time.” What is noteworthy is these are all based on old FNAF "theories." Like Foxy being a good guy in Five Nights At Freddy's 1 and is just checking in on you. Alongside the "theory" that phone guy was the killer. These are incorrect theories, and alongside them is Dream Theory even referencing the the alarm clock which MatPat focused on in his "theory." This would seem to imply through these jokes that Dream Theory alongside these other "theories" are not correct.
Scott seems to make a habit of this, as seen in the special tease for the movie Scott released Freddy in Space 3: Chica in Space. This joke game references all kinds of things from the fandom included Adult Theory. In this game there is a boss that is making a joke about Gregory being well a robot.
Finally I would like to note this Five Nights At Freddy's 1: Movie seems to further back this up. The movie makes references hoaxes in it like the Sparky the Dog hoax, and even has William Afton the killer be the Phone Guy in this movie. Alongside it the movie features none other than Dream Theory. So the movie basically contains several "theories" and even hoaxes that were incorrect in the games.

This is for the MASM watchers(where Sun and Moon ain’t brothers)
⚠️Warnings⚠️
A bit of Sun shade(I like him but sometimes I just wanna strangle him)
I understand Moon is a bad person but in this, he is healing so yeah. I’m not gonna baby him too much though
There are characters inspired by @cafe_drops on TT. Like the Little Stars, also I took Andromeda’s name but they’re not the same person.
!This is a au!
So the au is where Moon ‘dies’
Context :
Moon and Sun battle Eclipse. More or less gun and explosive fight. However while Moon was fighting Eclipse, Sun ran off to Roxanne, leaving Eclipse with the ability to drown Moon in the river. Sun doesn’t realize and just ‘defeats’ Eclipse(we know his ass didn’t do shit)
Monty finds Moon dead and goes to tell Sun but Sun celebrates. Because he hates Moon or whatever. This causes Monty to dislike Sun a lot since you know, their friend just died.
Eclipse is even shocked at Sun’s audacity, so he just starts taking Sun’s money. The lab goes out of order since Moon isn’t there and Sun just doesn’t care.
However the LJC(Lucky Jackal Company) finds Moon’s body and takes it back to their amusement park. They are known for their humanoid animatronics. Since they use human skin for casing. (I’ll explain that later)
They transfer Moon’s consciousness into an aerial performer’s body(like I said, explain that later) This also causes the ‘love virus’ to go away, which was a virus implanted into Moon by Springtrap. Where Moon would fall in love easier, while this didn’t affect his personality. It affected his ability to love, causing the whole thing of loving Sun.
Moon gets sent to the daycare in the park(for children under ages of 6) Where Andromeda, a humanoid sun animatronic works. Moon goes through an identity crisis before he decides to become Blood Moon(not eclipse’s blood moon), realizing he’s happier now because all of the stress is gone.
Moon ultimately becomes more happy and cheerful(not UWU Moon though) He smiles more, is kinder to the children and even becomes best friends with Andromeda. Causing him to become the daycare’s Naptime attendant. Roughly two years into Moon’s stay, he finds the Little Stars. Which are small child sized animatronics(heavily inspired by cafe_drops’ Little stars.) who are the assistants in the daycare.
I don’t know what to do now. So leave suggestions or whatever :)

I don’t know if you’ve gotten this ask before, but have any of the fazbear real estate crew played games like the joy of creation, one night a flumty’s,five nights at candy’s....hell even tyke n’ son’s.
Especially thinking about the bonnies playing flumty’s and what they would think of flumty’s immunity to the plot, since Scott cawthorne has said that classic bonnie can teleport.
I hate to break it to you, but nobody at Fazbear Estate touches the Flumpty series or talks about it. Jonochrome is a groomer in real life, and I can't separate the artist from the art in this case, so while Toy Freddy has played the games before, once word got out about Jonochrome's misdeeds, he uninstalled them and never played them again.
If you really wanna know how Classic Bonnie would feel about Flumpty's plot immunity, however... he'd be jealous and kinda hate Flumpty for that. How awfully convenient to not be held liable for your actions, no matter how bad they are. Pretty sure the other Bonnies would feel the same way... though Springtrap might find it a bit funny, given who his character is.
As for the other games you mentioned... Toy Freddy, the horror animatronics, and Funtime Freddy have played The Joy of Creation and think it's a lot of fun. Funfred wants Melissa to try playing, but she is way too terrified of the Ignited animatronics! They're very loud and hearing them yell makes her cry.
(Fun fact about Fazbear Estate: Scott Cawthon exists as a character in this AU. He's just as flawed as his real life counterpart, virtually the same person. He's also an old friend of William's and Henry's family, which is partly how FNAF came to exist in this universe.)
Toy Freddy has played Tyke n' Son's because he wanted to know if critics were being too harsh towards Scott's earlier work. The answer turned out to be... just a little bit. But at least something amazing came out of it.
As for Five Nights at Candy's... this is surprising, but even the family-friendly animatronics at the Estate are fans of Five Nights at Candy's. Simply put, they're fans of Candy, Cindy, and all the other characters invented for that series. The animatronics at the Estate like to imagine what it'd be like for Candy and the others to actually exist and possibly come live with them. They've held discussions. They've written fanfiction. They've drawn fan art. They've put on stage plays. It's genuinely wild shit. Toy Chica ships herself with Candy AND Cindy.
Yeah... how awfully hypocritical of the family-friendly animatronics to dislike FNAF, but FNAC is totally okay! Their reasoning is, it's not any of THEM or their friends, so it's okay for these new characters to be scary. The horror animatronics see them for their bullshit and are all like, "OH COME ON!" So do the Funtimes, and their reaction is the same.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Salvaged, Night 9: Salvage Dreams
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/2965407ec63939722a0245b563c4c67b/6099c079821e8c6e-0a/s540x810/21650579681d62a98f596c4bab3f6737cc414da8.jpg)
''What is point of creation? No answer, only nightmares. Cold and lifeless iron death cells, seems we have hearts inside us. Maybe I will scare you too much; Please, I really need to know why. Vicious circle all around me, we can't keep this scary old lie. My old scene, it beckons me, but should we freeze our lives forever, or you'll embrace us all together, to get us all free in the flame.''
– Salvage Dreams by MiaRissyTV ft. Cheshire (Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator)
xXxXxXx
Sam leaned against the pillow, feeling tired as she checked some notifications on her smartphone. It was late evening, with her and Springtrap having returned home from their investigation at the factory. The animatronic in question was sitting on the other end of her bed, looking just as tired as she was, but also somewhat content.
''So, I guess we have another mystery at our hands,'' Sam said, glancing at Springtrap.
''I'm pretty sure that this mystery is connected to what happened at Ricky's,'' Springtrap replied.
''Speaking of which, we know that a man, a night guard, had been murdered at Ricky's and left at Freddy's,'' Sam said. ''We also know that whoever killed him made sure nobody would find out about it.''
''We also know that someone constructed that animatronic, maybe more, at the factory, but we don't know why,'' Springtrap added. ''There is a possibility that it was the same person, someone who has an interest in robots. Perhaps, they were caught by the night guard doing something which they wanted to keep secret and that is why the night guard had to die.''
''Maybe, but we have no idea what our culprit had done,'' Sam said. ''Also, leaving the body at Freddy's was a smart move, considering how infamous Freddy's is for missing people cases and murders.'' She bit her lip. ''You know, I think this is less about damaging the reputation of a rival company and perhaps more personal, with Freddy's being the scapegoat.''
''The question remains, who would do that and why,'' Springtrap said, frowning. He could still see the twitching endoskeleton and the pleading look it gave him. It wasn't made to kill.
''Do you think that someone is trying to recreate the haunted animatronics?'' Sam asked. Springtrap shrugged.
''Why don't you check the news for any missing children?'' he asked, half-jokingly. It was merely a suggestion, but Sam instantly checked her smartphone, looking at the local news.
''There's nothing. Just a car accident and a burglary on the other side of the town,'' she said. ''There are no reported kidnappings or missing people cases.''
''I see. Even if the night guard's death was covered, a missing child wouldn't go unnoticed,'' Springtrap said, feeling a little frustrated. What exactly is going on?
''I think you were right about the theory that the night guard might've been killed because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time,'' Sam said. ''However, whether the animatronic we saw had anything to do with it, we don't know.''
''Maybe it does,'' Springtrap said. ''I'm not saying that someone would try to recreate a haunted animatronic, but it was sure created with some kind of function.''
''Who knows,'' Sam sighed. ''I think we should figure out tomorrow what to do next.''
''So, I guess my Five Nights trial is over, right?'' Springtrap asked, giving Sam a curious look. ''Unless you want to add an extra Night.''
''As long as you're here, I don't think those Five Nights will ever end,'' Sam replied, noticing Springtrap's sly expression.
''Well, perhaps I could start my own trial with you,'' Springtrap said, his eyes glowing in a very faint purple. The glow faded, however, when he saw how reluctant Sam was. He actually wanted to let her know that he was just messing with her, and was surprised when she nodded. He sat closer to her, noticing the empty stare she had. ''What happened?''
Sam took a deep breath, speaking in a heavy, bitter tone.
''Remember what I told you about my former friends?'' She looked at Springtrap, who nodded. ''Even though I ghosted them, they were still trying to be a part of my life. I had to endure two years straight of them switching between being my best friends and being bullies. That was two years of psychological torture, where they would switch between trying to be nice and friendly and calling me a horrible person and blaming me for everything that went wrong.''
''That's incredibly cruel,'' Springtrap muttered, torn between trying to comfort her and letting her have some of her own space. One thing he hated about himself was that, despite what he said, he had some trouble connecting with people on an emotional level. He understood how Sam felt and what she was going through, but he felt he lacked the empathy any other decent human being would feel in such situation.
''They would get more aggressive the more I ignored them,'' Sam continued, with Springtrap noticing that her eyes were sparkling. ''Instead of kicking and punching me, they would send me messages over social media or something similar. Then, there was this…'' She trailed off, choking up. Her eyes were tearing, with her wiping them away.
''Sam?'' Springtrap lifted his hand, wanting to place it on her shoulder in a comforting manner, but something stopped him. Sam shook her head.
''They set me up with this older guy. It was supposed to be some kind of prank,'' she said, clenching her fists and shaking. ''I had no idea what was going on. I had no idea who he was. All I knew was that a stranger appeared in front of my door, while it was evening and I was home alone, screaming at me for standing him up and threatening me for lying to him. I was so scared…''
Tears were flowing down her cheeks, with her gasping and wiping them away. Springtrap wished he could do more for her. Rage was growing inside him at the thought of seeing Sam suffer like this.
''He believed I was in on the prank, even though I told him I had no idea what he was talking about. Luckily, I managed to lock the door, because he attempted to break in and show me why people shouldn't mess with him. I-I thought I was going to get h-hurt or worse,'' she added. ''The next day, a girl in my class told me how someone made a fake profile of me and catfished the guy. I had deleted all of my social media before that, so I had no idea what was going on. Nobody knew who did that, but I already had an idea. However, nothing could be p-proven, since they had already d-deleted the fake profile.''
She broke down crying.
''Sam,'' Springtrap muttered, reaching for her shoulder, only to look back in shock when she recoiled from his touch. ''Sam, I'm sorry.''
''No, it's not you…'' Sam shook her head, wiping her tears and taking a deep breath. ''I'm such an idiot.''
''No, you're not,'' Springtrap told her, only to be cut off by Sam.
''Yes, I am,'' Sam replied in a firm tone. ''I knew how toxic they were and despite that, I felt that I needed to be part of that group. There were times I blamed myself, thinking I was indeed somehow at fault and that I was a horrible person.''
''Sam, you're in no way a horrible person nor an idiot,'' Springtrap told her in a calm, comforting tone. ''You simply wanted support, but instead had to go through something horrible that scarred you.''
''To be honest, I have struggled with low self-esteem and anxiety, and even depression, after I ghosted my friends. I did tell myself that I could do better, but I only found myself locking up in my room more and more,'' Sam said. ''I didn't want to go out anymore because I was afraid. I felt that I couldn't trust people anymore, even though I really wanted to trust someone. I managed to somehow reconstruct my life and went out, bit by bit, but sometimes, I would still hear their voices, telling me how selfish I was or that I did something that made everyone hate me.'' She took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. ''I knew I needed to move on, and I figured I would be better off without any friends than having even one toxic friend.''
''You sure felt incredibly lonely,'' Springtrap muttered, with Sam nodding. He sighed. ''Sam, I don't think you're better off with me as your friend.'' He noticed her questioning look. ''You know what I did to my only friend, to Henry.''
''Yeah,'' Sam said in a quiet tone. ''That went far beyond petty pranks.''
''You know, lately I have been wondering what Henry might think about this whole thing,'' Springtrap said.
''I think he'd probably try to incinerate you again,'' Sam said. Springtrap lowered his head, chuckling softly, and looked at Sam with a smug expression.
''True,'' he said, his eyes glowing purple. ''Still, I have returned, despite all of Henry's efforts.''
He saw Sam's unnerved look as she stared back at him. She looked a little pale and was still shaking. Springtrap realized that he messed up and, instead of comforting her, made her even more upset. This was not what he had in mind.
''It doesn't matter,'' he said hastily, trying to calm her down. Sam shook her head.
''It seems like it does,'' she said, narrowing her eyes. ''Remember what I said? Whenever your eyes start glowing, it means that you're excited or aggressive. In other words, you become a danger to other people.''
''Sam, I-'' Springtrap cut himself off, realizing that Sam would only get upset if he made up an excuse in order to calm her down. After all, she only trusted him because he was completely honest with her. He sighed. ''Sam, I know I said that I'm a dangerous person, but I mean no harm to you. However, I cannot say the same for anyone else.'' He clenched his fists, the purple glow in his eyes intensifying. ''This is something that won't change.'' He then glanced Sam. ''It still surprises me that out of all people, I am the one you have chosen to trust. Were you really that desperate to have someone to talk to?''
''Yeah, kind of,'' Sam admitted. ''I'm a mess.''
''I think that we're both a mess,'' Springtrap said, with Sam smiling a little, her pale cheeks regaining some colour.
''Isolation really screws with your head, doesn't it?'' Sam said, with Springtrap nodding. ''So, what was that about a possible Night 6?''
''It depends on whether you already know what you would like to do,'' Springtrap replied.
''To be honest, I don't,'' Sam said.
''May I suggest something?'' Springtrap asked, with Sam nodding. ''I think we should go to Ricky's tomorrow. After all, this is where the mystery had started. Maybe we could find out more.''
''Okay,'' Sam said, yawning. ''Sounds like a plan.''
Springtrap then stood up, walking over to the door and glancing back at Sam, who had lied down on her bed. He turned the lights off.
''Good night,'' he said, only to hear a barely audible ''Night'' from her. He then exited the room, closing the door. Leaning back against the door, he closed his eyes, as if trying to calm himself down.
Once he opened them again, they flared purple.
xXx
Scrapes were heard, sounding as if a caged animal was trying to break free. It begged him for attention, for the release from its miserable prison. The endoskeleton twitched again and again whenever he would come closer to it. He frowned, staring at it with a look of dissatisfaction.
He then walked over to the table, taking something long and metallic – a crowbar. He weighted it in his hands, taking a swing in order to test it. The endoskeleton started to only twitch more. He then turned to the pitiful mess of metal and wires.
''Shhhhh…'' he hissed. His tone of voice wasn't comforting anymore, as he felt that the twitching of the scared robot was making him only more frustrated. It was already annoying making it work again, but he felt now that he had no use for it.
''You aren't good enough,'' he whispered and swung at the endoskeleton, tearing its head off cleanly. A clanking sound echoed through the room as the head fell down, the glow in its eyes fading. ''You're a failure.''
xXx
My eyes are still glowing purple.
Springtrap was lying on the couch in the guest room, looking at his reflection in the window. He wasn't really unsettled by having his eyes suddenly turn purple, and he had figured that it would fade away eventually and return to the normal silver and green. He lied down, looking past his reflection and at the starry sky.
It had been a long day for both him and Sam. He still had a little trouble believing that Sam wanted him to stay here, but he was glad about that decision. He wasn't really sure whether he could even call this place his new home, but he could get used to that idea.
However, what he was actually looking forward to was the feeling of satisfaction whenever he saw Sam smile. Having spent what seemed to be an eternity in isolation, he understood well how she felt. The feeling of loneliness could drive people crazy, making them desperate enough to do anything to just have some kind of company. While Sam seemed to be able to handle herself, being lonely sure did take a toll on her. Even though there were still things he wasn't sure about, keeping her happy and content was one thing he was certain he would do.
So, what do you say, Henry? What is your opinion on me trying to make someone happy for once?
It did frustrate him a little that he couldn't talk to his old friend. There were a lot of unsaid things he wanted to talk about, but he knew that there was nothing he could do now. Henry was gone, and so were Michael, Sammy and Elizabeth. All the people had a connection to had perished thanks to what he had done.
But, Sam won't. I won't let that happen to her.
He was aware that Henry probably wouldn't approve of their friendship and, frankly, he didn't care. However, he knew that his old partner certainly would not approve of what he was up to now, especially since it also involved Sam.
There is still something I need to finish.
xXx
Sam stretched her arms, holding her smartphone next to her ear and walking downstairs, towards the kitchen.
''Yeah, I'm fine,'' she said, yawning and listening to her mother. As she walked into the kitchen, she saw a fresh batch of pancakes, with Springtrap holding a frying pan. She gave him a questioning look.
''Well, you liked the pancakes I made for you, so I thought I could make them again,'' he replied, with Sam nodding, listened briefly to something her mother told her and then turning the loudspeaker on.
''Good morning, Springtrap!'' Emma greeted the animatronic in a chipper tone, with Springtrap feeling a knot somewhere in the stomach area. He knew that something was wrong, getting a confirmation a moment later. ''I hope you nor Sam are going to do anything stupid today.''
Springtrap felt unnerved by Emma's ability of figuring things out, even though she wasn't here at all. He remembered her warning from yesterday and shuddered, realizing that she wasn't joking.
''Are you some kind of psychic?'' he asked, trying to sound calm, but it was obvious that he was unnerved.
''Actually, I'm just a parent who has developed a sixth sense for figuring out whenever my kid is about to do something I wouldn't approve of,'' Emma replied. ''The fact that you're with her doesn't make me feel less worried.''
Springtrap rolled his eyes, feeling annoyed.
''Don't give me that look!'' Emma suddenly yelled, startling the animatronic, who stepped back, completely freaked out.
How does she know?!
''I think you achieved what you wanted, Mum,'' Sam said, looking a little baffled and having a feeling that her mother was grinning in satisfaction. ''So, when are you coming back?''
''I got a call and I will have to make a little detour,'' Emma said in a regretful tone. ''I'm coming back either tomorrow or the day after.''
''I see,'' Sam said, turning the loudspeaker off, mostly for Springtrap's sake, and quickly finishing the call. There was something amusing in seeing him giving her a look that was a mix of feeling annoyed and unsettled.
''Why is she even treating me like I'm some kind of bratty child?'' he said. ''I'm an adult, certainly a lot older than her, and went through things she couldn't even imagine!''
''True, but your past doesn't help your case,'' Sam replied. ''Also, Mum believes that people should earn her respect instead of demanding it. You should try working on that.''
Springtrap still felt irritated, but didn't say anything and focused on cleaning the dishes by putting them in the dishwasher, while Sam targeted her breakfast.
''Mum also said that you don't have to freak out so much in her presence,'' she added.
''Trust me, I don't want that either, but she's quite good at making me paranoid,'' Springtrap replied as he sat next to her.
''I guess that nothing can be done then,'' Sam said, then grinned. ''In any case, the pancakes you made are delicious.''
''I'm glad about that,'' Springtrap replied, putting his arms on the table, crossing them and leaning his head against them as he looked at Sam. ''Honestly, I'm just waiting for you to ask me something.''
''You still have your mind settled on an extra Night,'' Sam said, noticing his ears twitch and lower. ''If I have any questions, I'll ask you.''
''Okay,'' Springtrap said and sat up. ''Then, we are focusing on Ricky's today.''
"Say, Will," Sam said, taking a bite of her pancake. ''Have you suggested Ricky's because it might give us answers on what happened or because you want to go back to an establishment that is similar to the one you used to work?''
Springtrap kept quiet, looking a little unsure about what to say. Sure, his primary reason to go there was their investigation, but he couldn't deny that he missed the atmosphere at Freddy's. It had been a huge part of his life, after all.
''So, let me get this straight. Aside from being a father, a co-founder of a franchise, an engineer, a manager, a CEO of a company, a night guard and a murderer, you're also a performer at heart,'' Sam said.
''You forgot that I'm also an animatronic,'' Springtrap said. ''Besides, I have already told you that something inside me would change whenever I put the mask on. I always considered myself as the character I performed as, with no one being able to replace me.''
''Considering how you're stuck in this suit, there is indeed no way that someone could replace you now,'' Sam said. Springtrap grinned.
''You have a point there,'' he said as she stood up, having finished with her breakfast and placing the dishes into the dishwasher. He then followed her into the living room. ''We still have a lot of time left before we go, so, is there anything you want to do? Do you want to play a game or something like that?''
''Actually, there is something that I've been thinking about,'' Sam said, turning to him. ''About what I said yesterday, it's…'' She sighed. ''It doesn't matter. I'm over it.''
''Are you trying to downplay your situation?'' Springtrap asked, crossing his arms. Sam sat on the couch, leaning back.
''I just wanted to say that my problems aren't as bad as yours, and that I feel that I was just overreacting,'' Sam said, looking up when Springtrap leaned against the couch, giving her a look of concern.
''Sam, you weren't overreacting and I don't think that your problems were less bad than mine,'' he told her. ''What happened affected you more than you think. Therefore, if you want to talk about it, I'm here for you.''
''I'm sorry for pushing you away,'' Sam said in a quiet tone.
''It's fine,'' Springtrap replied. ''You felt vulnerable and uncomfortable at that moment and you just wanted your own space. I understand that. Although, I am curious whether Emma knew about this?''
''I didn't tell her anything, but she had probably figured it out once I started to lock myself up in my room,'' Sam said. ''She didn't say anything, though. I guess she wanted to let me handle it by myself and assumed I would ask her for help if I had trouble dealing with it. She did tell me several times that I should go out and make some new friends.''
''I sincerely doubt she a haunted robot in mind,'' Springtrap said, with Sam chuckling.
''It's still better than nothing,'' she said, with Springtrap stepping back, grinning as he crossed his arms on his back. There was a faint glow of purple in his eyes.
''I am certainly a better option than your former friends,'' he said in an assuring tone. ''Don't worry.''
''There is something I want to ask you, though,'' Sam said. Springtrap's ears lowered, although he had already expected that.
''Okay, what is it?''
''I'm curious about how you feel about being an animatronic,'' Sam said, with Springtrap tilting his head.
''Hadn't we already covered that?'' he asked.
''We kinda did, but I'm curious about your experience before and after becoming the character you used to perform as,'' Sam replied. ''You said that you already liked the idea of being Spring Bonnie aka Springtrap.''
''True, but to be honest, I haven't really thought about it. I just accepted my new existence,'' Springtrap said, rubbing his wrists absentmindedly. After being trapped inside the suit, all he could remember was the agony he felt as he experienced a slow death. After his soul was attached to the suit, there had been a surge of satisfaction once he realized what he had achieved. However, he hadn't really payed much thought to the whole situation and focused on how to take advantage of his new existence. ''It did feel a little strange, though. While I was still alive and would wear the springlock suit while performing, I had to be careful to not trigger the spring locks.''
''After all, there had been a few times when you had seen the aftermath of that,'' Sam said. Springtrap nodded, the purple glow in his eyes becoming stronger.
''Despite the danger, I knew how to handle the suit, different than the other employees,'' he added. ''They were always careful with it, while I managed to move around more easily. It certainly did baffle some of them when they realized that. However, they didn't dare to move around more than necessary.''
''Considering how you and Henry built it, you obviously knew how to wear it without triggering the spring locks and getting crushed by them. Everyone else had Phone Guy's instruction tapes,'' Sam said, watching as Springtrap suddenly took a step forward and bowed gracefully.
''Nevertheless, death has its advantages,'' he said, giving her a smug grin. ''There are no restrictions and there is nothing I have to fear. Despite having my soul trapped inside the suit, I had gained more freedom than I ever had.''
''Unlike your victims,'' Sam said, watching as he went quiet, the smug expression vanishing. His eyes were still glowing purple.
''They have achieved their freedom,'' he said. ''They're gone.''
''That may be true, but what I'm curious about is how much control their souls had over the animatronic AI,'' Sam said. ''You said that you had to overpower the Spring Bonnie AI to take control over the suit, so I'm wondering who really was in control of Freddy and his friends, or who exactly controlled Circus Baby.''
Springtrap gave her a curious look, quite interested into the direction this conversation was going.
''What do you think?'' he asked, crossing his arms.
''I believe that the struggle is harder the more advanced the animatronic AI is,'' she said. ''Freddy and his friends were following their programming, with some direction of the children's souls, although the souls weren't able to take control of the animatronics. Had the souls been completely in control or taken over the AI, I believe that they would've been able to enter the hidden safe room instead of experiencing an error.''
''There's also the fact that you're talking about children's souls. They never knew what they were really doing, didn't they? My situation was completely different. Not only did I know what I was doing, but, as an adult, I could handle the situation in a more efficient way,'' he said, his gaze softening. ''Concerning Elizabeth and Circus Baby, it seems that the soul and AI have merged. When I met her as Scrap Baby, Elizabeth was following the AI's programming, which was to kill.'' He frowned, closing his eyes in frustration. ''Yet, I didn't care. Thinking about it, I never understood how souls really work and I only knew that they could stay attached to metal.'' He opened his eyes, which flared purple as he looked at Sam. ''I did understand how fragile life was and I had searched for a method to make my stay, and everyone else's, here more permanent. Once it worked out, all I had to do was to give into my bloodlust.''
''If it were possible and you had the choice, would you want to become human again, rather than an animatronic?'' Sam asked. Springtrap noted the sincere and innocent tone in her voice, feeling that she was honestly curious about his choices and decisions. He felt that it was quite interesting that she managed to bring up things he never really thought about or payed much attention to, as he believed that it wouldn't serve him any purpose.
''I have already told you that I'm fine the way I'm not,'' he said.
''Okay, but what if that weren't the case?'' Sam persisted. ''If you were still alive, would you try to figure out how to bind your soul to the animatronic you grew attached to?''
Springtrap remained silent for a while, with Sam wondering whether he really had second thoughts about his decision. He then shook his head.
''I think I still would try to do that,'' he said. ''While I may be saying this because my soul is already attached to an animatronic, I still believe that, if I were alive, I would still do the same.''
''But whether you would or wouldn't go murder people to achieve that goal or satisfy your bloodlust remains uncertain,'' Sam said, with Springtrap nodding.
''To be honest, sometimes I feel as if all what happened before getting trapped inside this suit was just a dream,'' he said. ''The hallucinations don't help it either. Sometimes, they are memories of my former life, but sometimes, I have no idea what I'm experiencing. It's not a memory or a delusion, but something completely different.''
''Maybe you have trouble with your memory,'' Sam suggested.
''I think I know how to tell the difference between a memory and whatever I'm experiencing, and I'm fairly certain that there is something else going on in my head,'' Springtrap said.
''Do you think that it's the Spring Bonnie AI trying to tell you something?'' Sam asked.
''I doubt that. I haven't sensed the AI acting up at all,'' Springtrap replied. ''It seems like it's just me inside this suit.''
''I wish I could somehow help you with that,'' Sam said.
''You're already doing a lot for me, more than I had anticipated,'' Springtrap replied, sitting next to her.
''Yeah, it is a little strange that I'm still here and talking to you,'' Sam said.
''You mean the fact that you're talking to a dangerous murderer and still alive despite that,'' Springtrap said, his eyes glowing purple. He looked worried.
''Kinda,'' Sam said, with Springtrap feeling that there was more to it. ''I am not really afraid of you, but I do feel sometimes a little unnerved by your presence.''
Springtrap lowered his head. He had already expected her to tell him that and he felt bad about it. He wanted to make her feel comfortable, but it was obvious that that would be hard, if not impossible, to achieve.
''I'm sorry about that,'' he muttered.
''Remember what happened when we first met?'' Sam said in a dark tone. ''You basically dragged me into an empty building and threatened me, and the first thing you told me was: 'Do you really think I would let you go so easily? Don't struggle, it'll be over soon.'. I was completely freaked out and afraid for my life. It was as if I was stuck in a nightmare.''
Springtrap stared at her, a little shocked. He was aware that what happened that evening was probably burned into her memory, but he didn't really expect her to quote his exact words back at him. He lowered his head, his eyes glowing in a soft purple. It feels like ages had passed since then-
''I did see you as my next victim,'' he said, clenching his fists. ''I am not making an excuse for what I did, but at that time, I figured that I should just continue with what I had started.''
He suddenly went silent. I was allowed to return and finish what I had started. But, what I did…
''William?'' He opened his eyes, seeing Sam's worried expression. It wasn't the worry and fear he had seen in his victims, but something different. Unlike the children, he wasn't a stranger to her.
''Sam, I'm sorry that I hurt you,'' he said in a comforting tone. ''I don't want to see you being hurt again.''
His eyes were glowing purple and he was aware that he wouldn't achieve much with just apologizing to her, even if he was sincere about everything he said. Not to mention, there is still what I had planned for her. For both of us. His eyes flared purple. Something I had started and now I need to finish.
''William, what's going on?'' Sam asked. Springtrap frowned.
''Sam, I am not trying to atone for what I did, but there is something I need to do,'' he said.
''Does it involve murder?'' Sam asked in a quiet tone, with Springtrap staring at her, a dark, determined look on his expression.
''They have already happened,'' he said.
xXx
It was another busy day, with children and adults trying to enjoy the time they spent at this place. He was moving around the place, weaving through the groups of people, easily avoiding bumping into any of them, despite the fact that he wore a mascot suit. He was already used to it, capable of finding his way through the crowd.
He would occasionally stop, greet parents and their children, sing and dance with them or merely direct them towards the arcades, the animatronics or the counter where they could order something to eat or drink. It was a job he enjoyed, being able to act the way he never would when the mask was off. He was a different person, able to share his feelings with others, but at the same time hiding his true intentions. Once again, he was walking on a thin line, this one being between reality and imagination.
Still, something was missing.
As he walked around, checking on everything, he saw someone familiar looking at the animatronics that were performing on the stage, a teen with brown hair. She seemed to be quite curious about the robots.
She looks lovely today.
He approached her, amused that she didn't even notice him.
''Hello there,'' he said. ''I see you have taken interest in my friends.''
The girl suddenly turned around, surprised to see Ricky staring at her. Suddenly, they got approached by another girl, who took the teen's hand and the two quickly walked away, gossiping about something. The man inside the costume felt a deep sense of dissatisfaction, the feeling of anger rushing through his body.
This wasn't the girl I was searching for.

However, he doesn’t have much knowledge on Vanny, but suspects that they be one. Gregory then makes the decision to return the the Pizzaplex to explore as there had once been a familiar case of missing children decades before at an old Freddy’s location. As the duo go an explore, they discover that hidden within the dumpster underneath the Pizzaplex’s kitchen, is an old, torn down, yellow Freddy spring-lock suit, which is apparently possessed by two dead kids.

I don't really know how to articulate this the best without a super long post, but I'll do my best to make it more like bullet points:
"Jackie's" eyes glow in a very similar way to both Springtrap's and Michael's when he gets back up at the end of sister location. Michael's eyes at that moment could be an aristic choice, but Springtrap having glowing eyes makes no sense as it's supposed to be a human in that suit, and the suits don't glow on their own.
In the books, multiple robots were created in various ages to give the illusion Charlie was growing up. Usually, these larger stories are meant to have parallels to the other FNAF mediums, but that's not the case here. HOWEVER, William and his two sons kinda match the age-ranges we see of the Charlie bots.
The Aftons live in a house that connects to both the/a pizzeria and an underground bunker specifically for storing and repairing the animatronics, but we never learn where Henry lives.
It still makes no sense to me that Michael could reanimate his own body, but it DOES make sense to me that an AI robot with an organic-based outer skin layer would be able to simulaneously walk around AND rot at the same time.
Vanessa's existence now gives us 3 girls of various ages and 3 boys, but she looks more like Elizabeth than Charlie. This could be a red herring, or the mimic could have "updated" her looks.
With that said, I can't really fit Elizabeth, who we do see gets her own death, into the equation unless she was a step-child from a 2nd marriage, but I'm really starting to think the Aftons were all mimics of various stages, and both Edwin and Charlie's novel stories are meant to explain how it got to this point. I'm also thinking that either Henry or Edwin is actually MXES, possessing part of the program after his death in the books.
I feel like this set up could explain most of "Henry"s odd dialouge at the end of FNAF 6. If William is the OG mimic, then his motives for the murders could be explained because he was filled with all of that Agony, and his learning program became further corrupted by corporate executives. If Fazbear has been using the mimic program to run these animatronics for most of the time, then Afton's ability to control the possessed animatronics would make sense, and this would explain how he always comes back.
It would (to me) also explain the Afton family table in Security Breach. The original purpose of the Mimic was to be a child's friend, and then used as a tool to bring back a family member. Agony, grief, and corporate greed eventually corrupted the system, and the fire probably messed it up further, so now the software mindset is all over the place.
Also, I think the Glamrock animatronics are meant to help us see both how the mimic program has evolved, and show that these AI robots can gain souls/emit agony & remnant on their own if given enough time. This would help explain why Michael is not exactly the same as William, how ultimate custom might can still happen, and why William does still need to atone for his actions.
(.....I'm also now just starting to think the Mimic program is also acting as the Fazbear executive branch - I think by the time Security breach happens, there are no humans working within Fazbear AT ALL)
I know there are a ton of holes in this, but I've been really interested in finding out who is actually running this business for awhile - especially since we're moving onto a new arc for the story. I've come to the conclusion that the CEO is either Scott Cawthorn himself (why are all the books copyrighted by him and not his company? I can easily see it as a personal decision... but Scott is canonically in the games, so....) or there's something the fandom is still missing. I'm throwing my hat in this mimic program theory.

this wasn't going well at all, now -- is it? NOT AS FUN AS EXPECTED. despised by him. he is to be feared, though perhaps he's taking this too far in one direction. Her head didn't lift from where it rested on her crossed forearms, which, themselves, rested on her knees. Curled up in the corner of his room, where he'd shoved his bed for some modicum of imagined safety, he clearly wasn't enjoying the rabbit's near-constant attempts on his attention.
"I already know," they huffed. The night terrors still hadn't stopped. He still couldn't get rid of the feeling of blood caked under his nails. He dreaded the day the rabbit decided to make its next demand of him. "You're in my head. I hear everything you say. What you want me to do." The being's plans — they weren't exactly secret. Not when they were often the only thing on its mind– if it even had such a thing. She still couldn't tell if it was purely digital or actually conscious, alive. Either way, it certainly wanted to be alive, and wanted her help to attain a living form, and she was incapable of denying it. Not if she wanted to keep what was left of her tenuous grip on reality.
He finally lifted his eyes enough to spot the creature, its weightless, incorporeal form perched laxly atop his desk chair as if it owned his tiny little apartment. Such a stark contrast to Robin herself, curled up as she was, taking up as little space as possible, trying to disguise how hard she was trembling. "Unless you can somehow get worse than that. Worse than–" They couldn't even say it. Couldn't speak of the things they'd been commanded to do to gather whatever resource the rabbit wanted so desperately.
"In that case... Congratulations, I guess. You're majorly fucked up. You want a gold star or something?"

Question tbh I want to really know if Alex chooses between the Human ver of Springtrap or William and the Animatronic ver who would he pick? And why?
If he was given the option right then and there, and Springtrap was perfectly fine with either decision, Alex would prefer to leave Springtrap as is. Springtrap is who he fell in love with, and unless Springtrap wanted otherwise (he's fine with his form, in fact he prefers it) Alex wouldn't have it any other way.
Here's what Spring looked like while he was still alive, in case anyone is curious
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/d9033bae2867b74595107b8a808212e7/907a6b257b2ac54c-98/s540x810/456389920166e7cbf738dc23b0e3b2d269209ae3.jpg)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/ec2982a8bf46a2626ee9a1ff08d14cb1/907a6b257b2ac54c-f8/s540x810/f3ee0ed047eb76c2ea1292441b8fbf3373f20953.jpg)
Now, if it was a different scenario, Alex would give William a chance, if that's who he met. AU William definitely wasn't bad looking, and his personality is mostly still the same. Springtrap being what he was is what lead to them being a couple however. Alex IS curious and interested in his human form however!

thank u for all the gr8 springtrap hc answers, i return once again with another question: this mans can probably snap bones like they're pretzel sticks and pull the limbs off of people like they're made of paper, but how strong IS he? what do you reckon the upper limit is? and is it the endoskeleton that obliterated his bones that makes him stronger than ur average bear, or is there something more going on there?
ooh yes i love ur questions anon this is another one I really like
I think a little too much about this man lmao can you tell lmao,,
Strength:
Most of his strength is definitely the endoskeleton - there’s also a little bit of a psychological/mental element to it too though, in that he enjoys hurting others and doesn’t really have that same mental/psychological restraint/barrier that most people probably have when it comes to causing harm to others in the first place. He enjoys that shit and has no problem ripping someone's arm clean off, so he has no issues putting forth the strength needed to do so.
He does, however, have some level of restraint, in most cases, he tends to use very little of his strength - it’s no fun if he kills someone without meaning to after all, so he generally only uses the barest basics of it - enough to hold a firm grip without crushing things in it, usually.
Generally he also reserves tearing off limbs or more physically difficult feats of mutilation/dismemberment/similar for when he’s really pissed off or his current target does something incredibly dumb to irritate him.
He’ll snap larger/more durable bones on occasion but it does tend to put a bit of a strain on him to do so. He’s not against using tools to minimize the strain on his body ofc, but he does prefer a more hands-on approach when murdering someone. He won’t overdo it though, he’s very careful about that - he’s more durable than he was as a human, but he’s still aware of his limitations and won’t put himself at risk needlessly.
Snapping smaller or more delicate bones isn’t particularly taxing on him though, so he partakes in it at every opportunity - any bone that can be easily snapped or broken with a little bit of pressure in just the right place, a firm blow with his foot or a little bending at an odd angle is a bone he will gladly take the opportunity to break.
Fortunately his feet are pretty good for crushing pretty much anything simply because they hold his entire weight and are generally pretty solid - he especially loves crushing ribcages with them... probably a little too much.
Limit:
Realistically? until the endoskeleton wears itself out and falls apart with how much force has been used - but it would take a lot to get to that point, even with how old the endo is - I like to think he always built things for himself with the intent to last, and Spring bonnie is no exception to that.
There’s also the pain aspect of things that makes him a little more reluctant to strain or overexert himself too much - too much quick or forceful movement puts him more at risk for his remaining fleshy bits to get pinched in things as well, which obviously makes him hesitant to overdo it.
Generally he doesn’t mind that too much though, he can cause pain and kill more easily than he could before and that’s just a straight win for him. He definitely revels in it whenever an excuse comes up to rip some poor bastards arm off though, it makes him feel powerful and superior and he loves it.
Misc:
It’s very easy for him to snap someones neck but he doesn’t usually do it because it’s boring.
same with crushing someones head with his feet, he prefers to go for non-vital areas first
by ‘crushing ribcages’ i mean he will usually slowly press his foot down until bones audibly crack and then kick the person in the ribs a couple times to basically collapse their ribcage and watch them slowly die.
sometimes he just stomps the ribcage proper though, if he feels like it
he tends not to break jaws despite the fact it would be incredibly easy, because he likes to hear his victims scream and beg for mercy.
he doesn’t break spines either, if only because he doesn’t want to paralyze someone and have them no longer feeling the pain he’s inflicting
he likes to dislocate things, put them back into place, and then rinse and repeat for however long amuses him - added bonus of not being overly strenuous on his endo either!
#springtrap headcanons#save#i think about this bastard man too much lmao but its so fun#like how can i make him suffer while also being a terrifying force to reckon with while also having his own vulnerabilities#like hes gotta be a little bit vulnerable but not /too/ vulnerable you know

What would have been 04: Henry’s desk + collectibles
Please read this if you haven’t yet!!!
Searching the desk was the “minigames” in Project Box. During the day, when the animatronics would bury themselves underground again, Charlie would have a chance to search for anything to help her escape-- only she finds her father’s belongings instead.
Below contains scripted dialogue Charlie had for each collectible, as well as 2 diary entries from William Afton in the mid 80s.
In the books, Henry’s work is mysteriously cleaned out from his garage. In Project Box, Afton was the one who stole it all, along with Henry’s desk and placed it inside the game’s main room. Henry’s recordings would have a stack of work papers, with different passcodes being written each tape. By watching each tape you could unlock a different drawer from his desk.
The desk drawers
Tape 1 found on top of the desk contains the first mention the box, as well as the passcode to open the left drawer. The passcode for the left drawer would have been “1578” to reference the easter egg of what Baby repeats in a distorted voice in Sister Location.
Clicking the Box in the left drawer would have moved the box to the desk’s top. But I’ll talk about the box in another post.
The right top drawer has a passcode that references the distortion you hear when zapping Ballora on night 2 of Sister Location. In tape 2, the writing paper on Henry’s desk would read “P.H.A.S.E”, giving the order of buttons you would press to unlock the 2nd drawer.
The right bottom drawer would have the passcode be “RWQFSFASXC” in reference to shadow Bonny ( or in Project Box’s case, twisted Springtrap ). The keypad is supposed to look like the arrangement of the ‘QWER ASDF ZXCV’ keys on the English keyboard.
The collectibles
I’ll talk about the tapes in another post.
The photographs: The first photograph is Henry and Afton at the grand opening of the original Fredbear’s Family Diner. The logo was inspired by 80s logo of Pizza Time Theater. In both photos, Henry is wearing sweaters to reference Nolan Bushnell. Henry’s handwriting was changed from cursive to capitalized print to differ himself from Afton’s cursive. The smudges on the polaroid’s writings hint that Henry is left handed.
The blueprints and springlocks: These were to 1. hint that Fredbear and Spring Bonny’s springlocks were designed differently ( though it’s hard to tell here since Spring Bonny’s blueprint isn’t actually finished... sorry LOL ). The differences in their design would play into the story, which I’ll explain in another post. I had to research how springlocks actually worked, since the best description we get is in FNAF 3.
Afton’s diary entries: I’ll explain why Afton’s diary entries are in Henry’s desk in another post. These entries exist to lay the foundation of Project Box’s backstory: The history between Afton and Henry. They were inspired by the books mentioning the police finding entries written by Afton, and how they went from praising Henry to cursing him, and even showing Afton's paranoia.
Afton entry 1:
17th December, 1984:
Henry has done it again. When doubted because of his unusual designs, he manages to overcome that doubt and amaze me and our patrons with this constructions. His work could fool children with the way these machines move with the illusion of life. It makes me wonder.
Bones, veins, organs. Rods, wires, circuit boards. Humans, are we not just complex machines? What separates us from them? When a computer is dismantled, it no longer operates. There are many who think we do the same. That when a human dies, they cease to exist.
But I know better. I am well aware of the lingering “existences”. They watch me. They follow me. I can feel their glares on my neck even as I write this.
The machines I create are only that- machines. I’ve always envied Henry’s gift of the illusion of life. But perhaps, I can finally surpass him. The life I create can be authentic. So be it.
To the souls I give gifts, bodies once more. And to the machines, I give life.
Afton entry 2:
15th March, 1985:
I once entertained the thought of getting a tattoo or two. To draw a meaningful picture on my skin. To see a mirrored version when I look in the mirror. But now, as I stand before the glass, there’s only a symmetrical pattern of rings and lines stamped across my body. I’ve grown to adore them over the months. Our scars have the power to remind us that the past was real. I can recall that day as if I dreamed it last night.
Realization in Henry’s eyes as he caught me tucking a small, lifeless body into Chica’s torso. Blonde curls and a bow. I never asked for her name, I never cared. Reminiscences of my hands on her throat only moments ago were discarded by Henry’s hands suddenly on my own throat. The realization in his eyes burned into anger. I was wearing Spring Bonny that day. His fingers flexed, and I collapsed on the ground as the spring locks he warned me about so many times pierced into me. The last thing I saw before blacking out was him placing Chica’s mask back onto it’s shoulders, hiding the girl.
The anger in his eyes that day, however, is worth nothing to me compared to the horror that filled them days later when I returned to him unexpectedly. He thought he ended it for good. He was mistaken. I told him his son looked just like that girl with curls. It would be a shame if his daughter looked like that too.
He’s been quite cooperative since then. At least until recently. The look in his eyes now: Determination. He’s hiding something.
Charlie’s dialogue when collecting
Photograph ‘Grand Opening’: “The fact that my dad worked with him for so long…. Makes me sick.”
Photograph ‘Christmas ‘79’: “Mine and Sammy’s first Christmas. I guess sweaters were my Dad’s way of dressing formally.”
Fredbear’s blueprint: “Fredbear. I never knew he was his own character, separate from Freddy… I’m sorry you have to be trapped in that... cage, Michael.”
Spring Bonny’s blueprint: “The counterpart to Fredbear. How are they so... cursed? Both only… shadows of what they were supposed to be.”
Fredbear’s springlock: “A spring lock. Gotta be careful with this fella, he’s small but he packs a punch.”
Spring Bonny’s springlock: “This spring lock… the spring is rotating a different direction from the other one I found.”
Afton’s entry 1: “Is this… why he did it? What he did to those kids... to Michael?”
Afton’s entry 2: “This was what dad meant in his tape. This is how he found out. Dad... I’m so sorry.”

What are the friendliness levels of the Can't Go Home Again animatronics?
I’m going to do this just like I did with the aggression level and rate them on “Kindness” and “Bar of entry”, then use those to calculate how friendly they are. With 1 being completely unapproachable and 10 being excessively cuddly.
I’m going to cover most of the main animatronics like last time. Let’s begin!
Marionette
Kindness: By far, Mari is one of the most gentle and forgiving animatronics. Not only does he adore children, but he stands apart as one of the animatronics most willing to trust and be social with adult humans. He has also shown himself to be empathetic with other animatronics, offering them extra chances even if they hurt him as long as they show a little turn-around. He holds a lot of guilt at hurting others, whether they are human or animatronics. There is a point where Mari can be pushed ‘too far’ and will shut someone out, but that it a far point to reach.
Bar of entry: While Mari tends to be quiet and distant with strangers- those he trusts enough to show himself around- it’s not too difficult to break through that exterior. What seems like aloofness is actually caution, and unless Mari has reason to believe the stranger is a threat he will eventually open up, and he is loyal and protective of those who he opens up to.
I would say that Mari hits a high 9 right away. His caution keeps him out of a 10, but he is still one of the friendliest animatronics of the group.
Foxy
Kindness: While having a gruff exterior and not being afraid to confront those who wrong him, Foxy is a kind person. He might put on a loner persona at times, but Foxy craves friendship and is disappointed that he doesn’t get more of it. He’s good with children, but more wary of adults until they prove themselves. He’s civil with other animatronics, opening up to them slowly, but can hold onto a grudge for some time. On the flipside, he has been known to readily comfort others, and feels remorse when he steps out of line.
Bar of entry: As said before, Foxy doesn’t trust adults as readily as Mari does, and the same goes for other animatronics. Foxy particularly separates himself from other animatronics, though this could be because of the past bonds he has share with most of them. It should be noted, however, that Foxy opens up readily to overtly friendly animatronics and humans.
I would give Foxy a high 7, maybe an 8. The only major thing pulling down his score is his lack of trust in others. Which makes sense considering his past.
Security Puppet
Kindness: As expected, Lottie would be the most socially adapt of the animatronics in this list. Being that she acts more as a human would, she has an easier time speaking to them than the others (originally had). She’s typically nice to people off the bat, even if it is an animatronic she’s wary of- to keep the situation defused. She can be socially awkward at times, but it doesn’t get in the way of her ability to communicate with others. She empathizes with others, shows protectiveness even over strangers, and is more willing to try and understand more than blame.
Bar of entry: Lottie doesn’t hold as much suspicion for people unless they give her a reason to. A little more wary around animatronics, but not enough to engage unless she knows that they are going to become aggressive. If she knows someone is safe (not going to tell anyone about the animatronics) she will typically open up to them.
I would put Lottie definitely at an 8. Only under Mari because he’s a little less cautious than her around animatronics.
Baby
Kindness: Baby is not as callous as she appears, but she can be very abrasive and blunt. This only raises tenfold when approached by someone she has reason to dislike. Or not, as Baby has also been known to become jealous easily. This all stems from loneliness and a fear of abandonment, and frequently leads to her sabotaging any chance of friendship. Rarely she manages to find someone to open up to, and in these brief glimpses Baby is capable of showing someone else hiding under her exterior. Someone who doesn’t know how to show she cares but is capable of caring very deeply.
Bar of entry: It takes a lot to get on Baby’s good side. She doesn’t trust anyone right off the bat, and those she does trust she took years to open up to. That’s not to say that she isn’t capable of opening up to someone. Though she has had a history of being manipulative, it’s clear that like Foxy she opens up faster to those who show her genuine kindness- without pity.
Baby would be at about a 4. Very hard to crack that shell, but there is a soft center if you dig far enough.
Ennard
Kindness: Once again, Ennard is the odd one out. On first glance, Ennard seems to act incredibly friendly and charismatic to everyone, but this is actually a ruse. Ennard IS generally a friendly person, but it is almost impossible to tell how he feels about someone as he covers so much. As said in the danger post, Ennard is fearful of other animatronics- even if he is capable of overpowering them- so his ‘outward friendliness’ to them may be a show of bravado until he realizes that they are not a threat. He’s more guarded than he appears, but once he begins to love someone, he loves them with everything he has.
Bar of entry: Ennard is almost exactly like Baby in how little he trusts others right off the bat, he just hides it a lot better than she does. A lot of Ennard’s trust is gained through second-hand exposure, seeing someone do something positive for those he cares for makes him more willing to trust them. Ironically, he tends to open up faster to those who are clear and honest with their feelings.
Since Ennard’s such a strange case, I think I’ll set him at a 5.
Springtrap
Kindness: Aloof and distant, Springtrap actually hides a bleeding heart underneath a thick exterior he’s built up. Imagine Foxy if he trusted less and kept fewer grudges. He expects to be mistreated, so he doesn’t tend to hold it against anyone unless whoever it is did something he deems unforgivable. Though even in this case there’s flexibility. He doesn’t seem to hold ill will when people defend themselves against him. It should be known that Springtrap can have strong friendships with people, though there was only one person he truly got close to.
Bar of entry: Springtrap distances himself from everyone, always expecting letting them closer will bite back on him. This goes for humans and animatronics, even though he expects different things from them both. Becoming cordial with someone and becoming friends with someone are two different things entirely. Springtrap, in the best circumstances, can become cordial rather quickly, but that wall will stay up as long as he can hold it.
I think I might put Springtrap at a 5, but for different reasons than Ennard.
Minireenas
Kindness: When they attach to someone, they love them with all of their little hearts. Unfortunately, this means they can become protective and possessive over that one person. Though like young children, then eventually learn to adapt to others... Though they can be exceptionally fussy.
Bar of entry: Unless you’re their chosen caretaker, a woman, or make music box noises, chances are that you’ll have to seriously butter them up before they even begin to let you into their little circle.
The Minireenas are hard to place on the scale. Maybe a 6, since because of their childlike mentality they can be won over a little easier than some of the others. Wherever you would put ‘fussy children’ on the list.
Freddy
Kindness: Freddy is the kindest, raddest bear this side of the mountain! Ready to celebrate a birthday with his friends or rock out on stage, he’s everybody’s best friend!
Bar of entry: Everyone’s just a friend Freddy hasn’t met yet! Just come on down sometime and become Freddy’s friend too, and get exclusive access to the gnarly perks of the ‘Friendship Express Pass’.
Freddy is totally a 10. He’s the friendliest guy there is! He couldn’t hurt anyone even if he tried.

To quoth Se7en: WHAT'S IN THE BOX, SCOTT
Transcript under the cut.
So now that the angry mobs have left, let’s move on to Part 2: The Box. I know this sounds like a strange topic to switch to after we were just talking about the Brother, but we need to understand the box before we can answer that question. So to start, let’s go over:
[Everything We Know About the Box]
First, in FNAF 4 the Fredbear Plush tells Sammy that they will put him back together. In Scott’s post about the box, he said that the box contained all of the pieces put together. This links the box with Sammy.
Our next hint comes in Sister Location, when Michael says this:
And I found her. I put her back together, just like you asked me to. She’s free now.
People tend to misinterpret this as Michael referring to putting Ennard together, but that’s not the case. Rather, based on FNAF 4 and some things in TFC, it seems that being “broken” refers to the state of one’s soul - if you are broken, you are possessing something, and you can rest when you’re fixed. This both indicates Sammy is indeed possessing something, and creates a parallel between him and Ennard.
However, FFPS contains our biggest hint with Candy Cadet.
Candy. Candy. Candy.
I know, stay with me. Each of Candy Cadet’s stories relates to a different aspect of the lore. The story about the burglar probably refers to the original five kids and how their remnant is in Molten Freddy, or maybe just refers to Ennard. The second story about the woman and the keys likely refers to the Puppet - she gave life to the original five, but in the process let William find out about the remnant, which caused him to kill another five kids.
But then we get to the last story.
Now I will tell you a story about a little boy. He had a red snake that he kept in a metal cage, whose hunger could not be satisfied.
One day, the boy found five baby kittens outside his house. He brought them inside and kept them in a shoebox. He knew that the snake might kill them, but could not bring himself to get rid of the snake. He knew that if he chose one kitten to feed to the snake, it might be satisfied, but he could not choose. So, he went to bed, leaving the cage open. The snake went to the shoebox, chose a kitten at random, and ate it.
After five nights had gone by, the boy was full of regret, and cut the snake open. He pieced the remains together, and put the kitten back into the shoebox.
A young boy had five “kittens”, one of which was “eaten”. Filled with guilt, he took the pieces of the “kitten”, stitched them together into one, and put it into a box.
If you haven’t figured it out yet, the story is an analogy to FNAF 4. After Sammy was killed by the Brother’s negligence, he was wracked with guilt. He took the items that Sammy was possessing and stitched them together into one in an attempt to “fix” him. He then locked the final amalgamate into the box and tried to forget about the whole incident, which explains the “some things are best left forgotten” text that appears above it.
This means that Sammy is possessing multiple objects. These objects have to be something that a teenager could put together easily, and they must be small enough to fit into a box.
And if we go back to Sammy’s death, you might notice that as he’s dying, the plushies fade out around him, one by one.
It’s the plushies. Sammy is possessing his own plushies - IE his “friends”. The Brother realized this and stitched the plushies together into one, then locked it away and tried to forget about the entire incident.
But is that it? After all, this would mean he’s just possessing the plushies and has no further lore relevance. Well, we’re not quite done, which leads me to our next topic:
[The Nightmares]
So if you look at the SL Breaker Room map, there’s a dot for every Nightmare animatronic, which seems to confirm they’re real. However, there are two dots missing: Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare are not listed.
One thing that’s been pointed out by many people regarding the Nightmares being real is that there are quite a few inexplicable things that occur during the games, such as Nightmare Fredbear’s head showing up on the bed and the hospital items that appear. A lot of theories have been tossed around regarding this, ranging from the Nightmares being dreams or even the disks from TTO.
However, I have a different theory. If you pay attention to the 6 AM screen, the numbers screw up before fixing themselves. People blame this on it being a dream… but if your alarm clock is going off, and you’re looking at your alarm clock, doesn’t that mean you’re awake? This indicates that the Brother is not asleep, and something is causing the protagonist to hallucinate.
There’s one other odd thing about FNAF 4 that you might have noticed. The gameplay has a weird obsession with plushies - Nightmare Foxy turns into one, and there’s one sitting on the bed where the Freddles spawn from. Why is there this weird connection between the plushies and the Nightmares?
Additionally, you’ll notice that the animatronics appear in a pattern that matches that of the minigame nights. Nights 1-4 are just the core four, representing the bullies. Night 5 is Fredbear, for the Bite. Night 6 is all four followed by Fredbear, showing the order in which the Bitten Child’s plushies fade away… and Night 7, with Nightmare, is after the Bitten Child has died.
Finally, the box appears at the end of Night 7, with the “some things are best left forgotten” text, and according to the code it was meant to be opened after an unprogrammed Night 8, thus meaning opening the box was supposed to somehow end FNAF 4′s story.
Putting all of that together, I believe that Nightmare Fredbear and his alternate form, Nightmare, are the Sammy’s ghost. He’s locked inside of the box, so he appears as a representation of the Bite and his own death as he attempts to kill his Brother. Ghosts have been shown to cause hallucinations in this series before - thus, it is safe to assume that he’s the one making you hallucinate all of the strange visuals in the game. This is why the Nightmares are connected to the plushies, and why the box was supposed to end the game - once you open the box, Sammy will stop haunting you.
While this explains everything nicely, we do have one potential issue: Scott’s post about the Box suggested that the answer was going to piss everyone off, and this explanation certainly wouldn’t.
Now, keep in mind that I’m less confident about this part of the theory than the first part. I do want to talk about it however, because it does have quite a bit of evidence going for it.
[Sammy, FNAF 1, and how they’re connected]
There’s actually one more hint about the Box that i kind of glossed over in the first part of this video. We do have another hint, and weirdly enough it comes from…
[FNAF World intro]
You see, at the beginning of the game, you’re told to leave breadcrumbs for someone, to help them find their way. After completing a series of minigames, you get a cutscene of the Fredbear Plush, which uses the same dialogue it says to Sammy with the addition of saying the pieces are in place. When you go back to the main screen, you’re rewarded with a statue of a not-crying child.
However, what’s weird about this is that the “pieces” you’re putting into place… are the hints leading to the hidden minigames in FNAF 3.
And what’s even weirder is that every minigame in FNAF 3 ties back into Sammy. We already went over Charlie’s toy Mangle in the last video. Stage 01 shows off Charlie’s kidnapping and involves Fredbear giving cake to the Foxy-mask kid, a reference to the Bite. BB’s Air Adventure shows 3 silhouettes under a tree, which seem to be a nod to the girl outside with her three toys.
Chica’s Party, meanwhile, shows us four cupcakes, one of which follows her around. Judging by the golden cupcake Easter egg, the one moving is gold - thus these represent Sammy’s plushies, as four remain static while the Fredbear plush follows him.
The glitch minigame shows RWQ giving cake to one of the kids. In FNAF 4, Sammy was terrified of the shadows of the animatronics. Scott later gave us this hint about “things in the shadows being misunderstood in the mind of a child”. And indeed, here we see RWQ helping the child rather than hurting them.
And finally, Happiest Day ties back into what the Fredbear Plush said in 4 - that the Puppet would put Sammy back together, IE help him pass on, which fits with her giving the final cake. The cake, meanwhile, could be the birthday cake Sammy never got to have because of the Bite.
But that’s… weird, isn’t it? We see the five kids pass on in this game, along with the now not-possessed FNAF 1 animatronics. Why are there so many connections to the Bitten Child in a game that seemingly has nothing to do with him?
Well, here’s the thing. There’s one thing that I see a lot of people get wrong with the FNAF timeline, and that’s the placement of William’s death. Most people place it after FNAF 1, due to it taking place in the FNAF 1 pizzeria.
However, this is not the case. William walks in and out of the saferoom freely in this minigame before dying there. Then, we hear this in Phone Guy’s message:
Uh, this is just to inform all employees that due to budget restrictions the previously mentioned safe rooms are being sealed at most locations. Including this one. Work crews will be here most of the day today constructing a false wall over the old door face. Nothing is being taken out beforehand, so if you left anything inside, then it’s your own fault. Management also requests that this room not be mentioned to family, friends, or insurance representatives.
Phone Guy says nothing is being taken out and not to mention it to insurance companies because William’s corpse is already in there. Note that he says they’re constructing a fake wall to hide the saferoom, and where does Phone Dude find Springtrap?
Uh, but you know, like I said, we’re trying to track down a good lead right now. Uh, some guy who helped design one of the buildings says there was like an extra room that got boarded up, or, uh, something like that.
William died in the saferoom, so management constructed the false wall over it to hide his body. He stayed there until Fazbear’s Fright found him behind said wall and removed him.
But that’s the issue - it’s Phone Guy who tells you about the sealing of the saferoom. Phone Guy was dead after FNAF 1, so this means William must have died before it.
While you might be wondering why the place looks like the FNAF 1 location, note this phone call from FNAF 2:
Uh, now, I want you to forget anything you may have heard about the old location. You know, uh, some people still have a somewhat negative impression of the company. Uh, that old restaurant was kind of left to rot for quite a while, but, I want to reassure you, Fazbear Entertainment is committed to family fun and above all, safety.
This sure looks like a location that was left to rot to me! It’s likely that after the FNAF 2 location shut down, Freddy’s was forced to move back into their earlier location where the murders took place due to budget reasons. William was the night guard before you in FNAF 2, so this was likely between 2 and 1 - they had already fixed up the Withereds at this point, but hadn’t finished cleaning up the pizzeria before Will died.
This creates an odd gap in the timeline, however. When incorrectly assumed the minigames take place after 1, the kids are put to rest after Will dies before passing on in FNAF 3. Easy. But in actually, the kids vanish before FNAF 1, which shouldn’t be the case as the animatronics are still possessed at that point. Shadow Freddy even shows up in 3 with his FNAF 2 appearance, which would be weird if the ghosts had changed to match the FNAF 1 models. Likewise, the endoskeletons of the animatronics don’t look the same, which lends credence that these aren’t the Withereds. So what is going on here?
Well, in UCN we get a couple anime cutscenes. Freddy talks about it being his birthday and how Foxy has killed someone, so this is obviously a parallel to the older Brother and Sammy. What’s important here is that Freddy tries to defeat Foxy for five days before Foxy leaves, Freddy swearing to follow him. If Freddy represents Sammy, then that means that he followed the Brother to at least one other location than the FNAF 4 house.
Basically, what seems to be implied here is that Sammy is possessing all of the animatronics in 1. William dismantled the original 5 between 2 and 1. The kids stopped actively haunting the place at this point, though they don’t fully pass on until FFPS, hence why the gravestones pop up at the end. This left an opening for Sammy to possess the Classics in an attempt to kill his Brother, as he never opened the box he’s trapped in. This is why the Classics behave like the Nightmares, and in turn draw parallels to FNAF 4, such as Foxy not moving when you look at him.
This is why there are so many parallels to FNAF 4 in the FNAF 3 minigames - it’s not the original five you’re freeing, but rather, the pieces of Sammy. Not that TFC claims that broken children show up as multiple copies of each other, which we can assume applies to canon. All of the sprites look like greyscale versions of Sammy’s sprite - except for the Puppet, as she’s the only different character here.
Note also that the fifth child or piece here is probably not Golden Freddy, as is commonly assumed, but rather Fredbear - the one with the purple accents - matching Sammy’s last plushie and Nightmare Fredbear. The final minigame is greyscale and it’s too dark to fully see the head in the back of the ending screen, meaning that you can’t see the color of the top hat.
While the idea of Sammy being all the kids in this minigame sounds crazy, think about what Scott said during Dawko’s interview:
Dawko: This game, um, was when things went a little bit crazy with, like, the minigames, and stuff, and the good ending and the bad ending. Um, if you can answer this, which ending really happened?
Scott: I’ve given it a lot of thought as to whether or not I should answer this question. And I went back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth. And, the answer is very interesting, you know?
The answer is very interesting. The answer is complex. However, I’m not gonna answer it, because it’ll only cause strife. I mean, you see the kinda trouble that erupts, especially several years ago. The flame wars that would go on over Mangle’s gender, something as simple as that, you know? You know, I mean, you know, people with torches and pitchforks, you know? Now, yeah, I don’t think I’m gonna answer this one, I’m afraid.
This… seems weird, doesn’t it? The answer is either that the bad ending is canon or the good ending is, and yet Scott claims that the answer is “complex”. On top of that, the game itself implies the good ending is canon, as it’s just labeled as “the end” while the bad ending is specifically labeled as “bad”, making Scott’s hesitation all the odder.
However, this makes sense when combined with this theory. The good ending is canon, as Sammy is freed at the end of 3. But that’s the thing - it’s Sammy who’s freed. Everyone believes that these minigames show the original 5 kids, but the original 5 aren’t freed until FFPS. In that sense, both the good ending and bad ending are canon. That is indeed a complex answer, and one that would cause a ton of confusion and fighting. And it’s also an answer that would piss people off if they found out about it, leading back into Scott’s “would people accept it that way” pondering from the post about the Box.
Of course, Scott’s also said the contents of the Box have changed over time, so it’s possible that this was canon at one point but isn’t anymore, or maybe I’m just overthinking things and none of this is correct. Still, it’s a good thing to keep in mind as we move into discussing what the actual plot of FNAF is.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Nothing Remains, Night 24: Living In A Memory
''Night comes, Freddy let's me keep lights on, but I can't stand. There's knocking like before, Bonnie's at the door. Wake up, Foxy just left. Now, Chica's creeping on me. I can't sleep anymore. What's she waiting for? How beautiful the night can be! I'm never getting any sleep, I'm losing all my sanity! Have you seen what I've seen? How beautiful the night can be! I'm living in a memory, I'm losing all my sanity! Have you seen what I've seen?''
– Memory by Rockit Gaming ft. Vinny Noose (The Joy of Creation)
xXxXxXx
The door creaked slightly as Springtrap opened it, poking his head into the room. Sam was lying on the bed, fast asleep. He glanced across the room at the other door and the closet that was across the bed, both of which were closed. He sighed and stepped away, closing the door behind him. Rest assured, he didn't want Sam to run from one side of the room to the other trying to keep the Nightmare Animatronics out.
As he walked down the hallway, he felt that it was a bit ironically that Sam didn't mind sleeping in the bedroom that Sammy had hated and feared so much. Obviously, the circumstances were different now, but he had figured that she might've at least attempted to check under the bed and the closet for monsters. He sighed.
Sam's mind doesn't work like that. She knows that, if you want to find an actual monster, you should turn towards your fellow human. You never know what they're hiding.
Slowly, he made his way back to the private room that overlooked the corridors that led to the hidden bedroom. On the desk was a book, Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows, with Springtrap having managed to get past several chapters in the past few hours. While he didn't have a clock on him, he had figured that it was already well past midnight.
He wanted to continue reading the book, but something was bothering him. He knew that it would've been better for him to work on how to eliminate the Drawkills and Connor. He knew that he couldn't rest until he was sure that he found a solution to this problem, something that would work without making too many sacrifices. His eyes glowed faintly as he marked the page in the book and reached for Sam's backpack that was under the table, taking out the black device that was capable of rendering an animatronic almost completely useless. He didn't activate it, as he knew that, despite being a spirit operating an animatronic suit, he'd be affected as well.
Nevertheless, maybe it is possible to nullify this device's effects?
The purple glow his eyes emitted had grown stronger as he stood up, opening the drawers. He was glad that he and Sam had decided to clean this place up, as it was easier for him to find the necessary tools for this little project.
This device works like a jammer or an interference device, working on a frequency that causes animatronics to have their senses disrupted. If I figure out how to block them or at least lower the effect it has, we could use it against the Drawkills without suffering through the same ordeal as they would. Of course, that would only be possible in the case Connor hadn't decided to make them immune to the device as well.
Springtrap tilted his head as he came across an old, portable radio. He was a bit surprised, having forgotten that he had actually brought a radio here. He snorted, wondering what he was thinking about bringing a radio into an underground location, where the reception would obviously be poor. However, he was curious about whether it still worked. He turned the radio around, popping the lid and noticing that there were no batteries. He searched the drawers for them, remembering that he had seen a pair. After finding them and putting them into the radio, he turned it on, hoping that it would still work.
There was a wave of static as he switched through the stations and adjusted the antenna, but he had finally managed to find one that actually worked and was clear. By the sound of the announcement the host made, it seemed to be a station that played late-night music. He turned the radio off, suddenly hearing footsteps. He turned around, noticing Nightmare Freddy staring at him.
''Tell the others to gather at the Funtime Auditorium,'' he told the animatronic. Nightmare Freddy nodded, leaving. Springtrap then turned back to the black device, with a determined look on his expression. This has to work.
xXx
After placing his tools on the stage, Springtrap turned to the animatronics that had gathered. Nightmare Freddy, with the Freddles, Nightmare Bonnie, Nightmare Chica, Nightmare Foxy, Nightmare Fredbear and Plushtrap were all eagerly waiting for his instructions, for whatever task he had for them this time. It was a bit unusual, mostly because Springtrap was used to be given weird looks from other animatronics, not to mention the fact that he had been tormented by a replica of Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Bonnie, Nightmare Chica, Nightmare Fredbear and even Plushtrap in the pseudo-Hell he was trapped in.
Rest assured, the animatronics that were gathered here bore no ill will towards him and were completely loyal to him. Springtrap sincerely hoped that things would remain that way, having grown a newfound respect for his own creations. He took a deep breath, crossing his arms as he addressed the animatronics.
''You are going to assist me in a little project that should make you immune against this interference device,'' he said as he held up the black device Connor had created. ''It'll be a bit of a trial and error and I will have to shut down your system temporarily to work on it, but I believe that the ending result will be satisfactory.'' He waited for a response, but the animatronics kept silent, having no objections towards his plan. He continued, ''I will have to first test it, though. As you will find out soon, this device will interrupt your system, cutting off all your senses, particularly the auditory and visual one. So, are you ready?''
The animatronics nodded without any hesitation. Springtrap then activated the device. The moment he did that, a wave of static overwhelmed him, followed by a noise that hurt his ears. However, it didn't seem to be as bad for him as for the rest of the Nightmares who were clutching their heads in agony, the Freddles and Plushtrap screeching in pain. He quickly turned the device off. As the Nightmares recovered, they all gave him startled looks, having obviously not expected that it would be this bad. Springtrap couldn't help, but feel bad for them.
''Trust me, once I'm done, the effect this device has on you won't be as bad as it is now,'' he told them. ''Afterwards, I will inform you about your actual task.''
''This task requires us to be immune to this device, doesn't it?'' Nightmare Freddy asked. Springtrap nodded. He exchanged looks with the others, with all of them walking to the nearest wall and sitting down. Springtrap walked over to them and, one by one, shut them down. He then stepped back, staring at them, a strange feeling spreading through his chest.
He remembered then endoskeleton that he had encountered at the Machinations Factory, one that had been tormented by Connor. It was still active, but unable to move, completely at the mercy of the two strangers that found it. Despite being just a robot, it had been clear to Springtrap that it was suffering and he quickly put it out of its misery.
Springtrap shook his head, feeling chills and tried to ignore the memory, but he had to admit to himself that, despite the circumstances of his condition, he was just as much an animatronic as they were. He knew well how it felt being unable to move, being controlled by someone else, damaged by fire and electric shocks, and even losing your limbs and having to replace your entire body with spare parts.
And yet none of that had managed to faze me, Springtrap thought, aware of the irony. He sighed, trying to focus on the task ahead. He already knew at which frequency the Nightmares worked and he figured that there would be a way to, if not block, then at least somehow mute the interference. Maybe… He took out the diagnostic tool, connecting it to the interference device. I could reduce it to just white noise and while they might still sense it, it wouldn't be as bad as it is now. Yes, that should work.
He then walked over to the stage to get a few tools, as well as the radio, and walked back to the Nightmares, crouching down in front of Nightmare Freddy. He then turned the radio on, simply to have some background noise, and payed not attention to the host as he briefly interrupted the pop song that was playing in order to announce the next artist, Nox Arcana.
Let's see… Springtrap removed Nightmare Freddy's mask, tracing down the wires that connected to the various parts of the animatronic. A few seconds later, he heard an eerie, haunting melody playing. He hummed along absent-mindedly, knowing that he'd be stuck here the whole night, upgrading the Nightmares. He wasn't in a hurry, though, despite the possibility that the Drawkills might figure out where this location was and try to break inside. Springtrap snorted, feeling that, even if they had entered the building, they probably wouldn't be able to figure out how to enter any of the rooms not connected directly to the elevator, let alone the hidden area where Sam was currently at. Rest assured, they were safe here.
That's quite ironical… Springtrap shook his head lightly as he reached for the screwdriver. Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental was never a safe place, especially not for its employees or even the customers. The only thing that could've been considered a safety feature would be the electric shocks the animatronics were submitted to and even that didn't work.
His ears stood up as he stopped working for a brief moment, having a strange feeling. He then realized that it was the music and glanced the radio. He had a feeling that he heard it before, and while it probably wasn't the same song and artist, it sounded quite familiar. Or, maybe I'm wrong, maybe it's something different… I mean, can I really trust my own memory? His eyes suddenly glowed as he realized why the song sounded so familiar.
''No way, Scarborough Fair?'' he muttered, a bit startled. It was quite an old song and he was a bit surprised that it was still played on the radio, even if it was a different version of it. Nevertheless, he was a glad to hear it.
''Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Yesterday holds memories in time.''
I knew it… He was aware that it was probably a bit foolish of him to be happy about recognizing something so trivial, but he didn't care. Wait, didn't the verse go 'Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme?'
''Remember me to the one who lives there, she once was a true love of mine.''
He relaxed a little, focusing back on his work. He knew that it wouldn't take long until something happened that would stress him out again, and he wanted to enjoy the peace and quiet he had as long as possible. Something always happens… He shook his head, trying to ignore the uncanny feeling of anxiety that was creeping upon him.
''Tell her to think back upon younger days; Yesterday holds memories in time.''
Would I really be able to say that it's been a while since I had tinkered with animatronics without a care in the world? Springtrap sighed. Those kinds of memories are few and far between.
''And seek yonder crossroads where we parted ways, then she'll be a true love of mine.''
He was well aware that the last time he had actually worked on an animatronic project like this was when he and Henry made Fredbear and Spring Bonnie. It was something they both took pride in, combining their talents to make something great. They both had plans for a successful future, but this happiness didn't last long thanks to his own bitter feelings. Out of the two, he was always the more ambitious one, the one who sought more recognition, who felt that he deserved better.
I never deserved anything. My own desires don't matter anymore due to the pure selfishness I had shown. Springtrap lowered his head. If there was just a way to make things right… Why the hell did it take so long for me to realize what really matters?
''Daddy, what are you doing?''
Springtrap turned around, noticing Elizabeth staring at him with a curious look on her expression. However, she looked a bit reluctant about approaching him. He couldn't really blame her for that, as he had made it clear to her years ago that she should never bother him when he was working, a lesson she obviously never forgot. Springtrap stared at her, with a look of guilt on his expression. He lowered his head.
''I am just making sure that the Nightmare Animatronics won't be affected by this device,'' he explained in a calm and gentle tone, pointing at the black device that was lying next to him.
''Okay,'' Elizabeth muttered, still a bit reluctant about approaching her father, with Springtrap feeling a cold sensation spreading through his chest, tearing him inside.
''Tell her to follow the path to the shire; Yesterday holds memories in time.''
''Lizzy, I'm sorry,'' he said. ''I'm sorry for being so abusive and neglectful towards you. I know that nothing I say or do will ever make things right, but I still wish that there was something, anything…''
''So, you won't get angry at me for interrupting you during work?'' Elizabeth asked cautiously. Springtrap stared at her, devastated, and he shook his head.
''For there she'll find her heart's true desire, then she'll be a true love of mine.''
''No, I won't, trust me,'' he said remorsefully. ''I know that you were just curious, that you only showed interest in my work, and that you wanted to learn something. I know that simply wanted to make me proud.'' He lowered his head. ''I regret what I had done to you and attempting to turn you into a monster like me. I made so many mistakes, and the way I treated you, Michael and Sammy is something I will always regret. I can apologize as much as I want, but nothing is going to change what had happened.'' He sighed, looking up. ''Honestly, I'm just happy that you're here, whether you hate me or not, as I don't even deserve that.''
''No, you don't,'' Elizabeth replied in a quiet tone, her eyes narrowing as she stared at her father. She looked past him at the animatronics, then turned back to him, giving him a questioning look. ''You won't mind then if I watch you working on them?''
''No, I won't,'' Springtrap replied, feeling a bit relieved as Elizabeth approached him. However, that feeling of relief was soon replaced by grief.
He knew that his daughter hadn't forgiven him, and he was aware that this would never happen, but he was still glad that she had shown interest in talking to him, or at least acknowledging him. He felt a sting of guilt as he remembered how, after her death, he had left her here all alone, her soul trapped inside Circus Baby. Sure, he may have sent Michael to free her, but it was clear that he should've done that himself. He knew that he should've died instead of his son. While he eventually met his own demise, it still paled in comparison to what his own family had to go through.
''Lizzy…'' he muttered. ''I'm sorry…''
He looked at her, with Elizabeth giving him a look which was a mix of apprehension and confusion. He knew that she was probably wondering what he was apologizing for now, but he simply couldn't find the words to convey how he truly felt. His mental and emotional state was a complete mess; regret, guilt, despair, grief, sorrow, misery and bitterness were all mixed together, the result being complete chaos, with him having had no idea what to say or how to react.
Then, there was the cold feeling of emptiness, the realization that it didn't matter how he felt. He wasn't a person anymore, but an emotionless monster he himself had created. Am I even allowed to show remorse or sorrow? He clutched his head as agony tore through his mind and body, ripping him apart. The memory of Elizabeth's mangled body flashed through his mind. He could still clearly remember the blood flowing through his fingers as he cradled her broken body in dismay.
No... He wanted to scream, but he couldn't. He had stolen other people's lives, so if they had lost their voice, why should he be allowed to say anything instead of suffering in silence? No one could hear them, so why should anyone hear him? Why?! Why have I done that?!
''Daddy, what's wrong?''
He opened his eyes, realizing that he was on his knees, staring at the ground. He looked down at his hands, startled to see red marks covering the tips of his fingers. Blood? He glanced at Elizabeth, who looked genuinely worried.
''Daddy, you're crying…'' she said uneasily.
''It's fine, don't worry about me,'' Springtrap told her calmly. ''This isn't the first time it happened.''
''It looks a bit disturbing, though,'' Elizabeth replied. Springtrap wiped away the blood that formed around the corner of his eyes.
''I didn't mean to scare you, Lizzy,'' Springtrap said. Elizabeth gave him a bitter smile.
''Well, I saw worse of you,'' she said. Springtrap kept silent.
''Nevertheless, you still have to wonder whether that's a good thing or a bad thing.'' Springtrap and Elizabeth turned around, noticing Michael and Sammy standing in the room. Sammy's lips curved into a bitter smile. ''Hey, Dad.''
''So, you two decided to pay a visit as well?'' Springtrap asked, at the same time feeling happy and anxious about seeing them.
''Tell her to come to the old willow tree; Yesterday holds memories in time.''
''We're only here because Lizzy wanted to see you and we didn't want to leave her alone with you,'' Michael explained, as he and Sammy approached Springtrap and Elizabeth. He then looked at the animatronics his father was working on. ''You look quite busy.''
''I had figured that it would be better to be prepared for whatever may come next,'' Springtrap replied. Michael rose an eyebrow.
''Really? Since when did you ditch your 'make things up as you go along' approach?'' he asked.
''Trust me, I don't have any solid plan,'' Springtrap replied. ''I only know what the end result is supposed to be, but not how to achieve it.''
''Where spirits of lost love yet whisper to thee, thou art still a true love of mine.''
''Okay, what do you want to achieve?'' Michael asked curiously. Springtrap lowered his head, staring at the animatronics.
''All I know is that I need to take out Connor,'' he said in a firm tone.
''Fine, but what is going to happen afterwards?'' Michael asked. ''I assume that you want to stay here.''
''Yes, I do want to stay here, but that's not important now,'' Springtrap told him, noticing Michael, Sammy and Elizabeth giving him weird looks. He shook his head. ''I will explain you that another time.''
''So basically, never?'' Michael asked sarcastically. ''It's always the same with you.''
''Tell her to gather three lilies of white; Yesterday holds memories in time.''
''No,'' Springtrap replied. ''Trust me, this time, I have learned from my mistakes.''
''Yeah, and you're only going to end up making more mistakes,'' Michael replied bitterly, only to notice Springtrap's eyes glowing in a faint purple.
''Is it really a mistake to tell you that I wish that I had appreciated you more?'' he asked.
''To place at my headstone, beneath the moon's light, then she'll be a true love of mine.''
''I don't think it is,'' Sammy interrupted the two, frowning. ''However, you're a bit too late. You should've told us that before we all ended up dying.''
Springtrap kept silent, looking rather crestfallen.
''Well, at least we got an apology,'' Elizabeth said, crossing her arms, then glanced at Michael and Sammy. ''However, it doesn't really matter, does it? Nothing is going to change.''
''Forever she'll be the one true love of mine.''
''I won't argue that I'm able to fix this situation, since it's obvious that there's no way to do that,'' Springtrap told her. ''Nevertheless, I wanted to at least tell you how much I regret what I had done to you. I know that at this point, I'm just repeating myself, but being able to see you and talk to you is something I'm incredibly thankful for.'' He smiled bitterly. ''This isn't the family reunion any of us was hoping for, but it's the best we got.''
''Not to mention, we still have doubts whether we made the right decision when we decided to visit you,'' Michael replied. Elizabeth smiled mischievously.
''Well, we are missing one person to make this 'family reunion' complete,'' she said, causing Sammy to glare at her.
''Lizzy, I don't think that it would be a good idea to wake Sam up,'' he told her.
''I know that,'' Elizabeth replied in an irritated tone, turning her attention back to Springtrap. She tilted her head, a look of concern on her expression. ''Still, if you break down again… It can be really scary at times, even more than when you get angry.''
''Lizzy…''
Springtrap stared at his daughter in silence, not sure how to respond. Moments later, he realized that it was too quiet, glancing at the radio and figuring that the battery had probably died. Nothing is forever, right? He then took a deep breath, looking back at Michael, Sammy and Elizabeth.
''I promise that you won't have to worry about me anymore,'' he said.
xXx
Drawkill Freddy stared at the house, clenching his fist. Despite the fact that he knew that this was the place where he and his companions would find help, he was still reluctant about going inside. They weren't welcome here, or anywhere for that matter, and, even though no one said it, they had their doubts about the plan and whether it would even work. They simply knew that there was no way they would ever get help from the people they had attempted to kill and destroy respectively. Why would those two even trust them?
''Are we really going through with this plan?'' Drawkill Chica asked Drawkill Freddy.
''We should hurry up, before Connor decides to check on us,'' Drawkill Foxy added, tapping his head, where the communication device was.
''Com'n, Freddy,'' Drawkill Bonnie said. ''Or, are we just going to stand here all night?''
Drawkill Freddy kept silent. Despite the fact that he was the one who insisted on coming here, he too was at the point where he was doubting his own plan, much to the frustration of his companions, who wanted some kind of answer, anything that would solve their current problem. He turned back to his companions, with a downcast look on his expression.
''I'm sorry,'' he said. ''I don't think that they are going to listen to us. We didn't exactly made a good first impression on them and things might only get worse for us if we do ask them for help.''
''So, this is it? We're not going to do anything?'' Drawkill Chica asked incredulously.
''Do you have any better idea?'' Drawkill Freddy asked her. Drawkill Chica paused for a moment, staring at him, then shook her head.
''Come to think of it, we don't even know whether they're at home,'' Drawkill Bonnie said. ''Aren't we going to at least knock on the door?''
''Even if we appeared with a gift basked and an apology letter, I don't believe that they would let us inside, let alone help us,'' Drawkill Foxy replied in a dry tone. Drawkill Freddy sighed.
''We're leaving,'' he said dejectedly, seeing the looks of disappointment the other Drawkills gave him. ''This is pointless.''
His companions just nodded, following him. They knew what was awaiting them once they returned back to the warehouse.
''You know, maybe we won't have to endure another punishment tonight?'' Drawkill Bonnie said, trying to cheer his companions up. ''Connor specifically sent us here to get the parts from Ricky's. Searching for Afton was an optional task.''
''I wouldn't be so optimistic, Bonnie,'' Drawkill Chica replied.
xXx
''Another night, another failure I have to deal with,'' Connor said calmly, his eyes glowing as he glared at the Drawkills, who had all their heads lowered, not daring to look him in the eye. ''Haven't you learned anything, but anything for your past experience?!''
The Drawkills kept quiet, as they knew that there was no use arguing with Connor. The latter was getting quite impatient, staring at them.
''Well? Do you have an answer?!'' he asked. While the rest of the Drawkills didn't react, Drawkill Bonnie clenched his fist. ''I have programmed you to talk and to act, but all of you are good for nothing, absolutely pathetic…''
''So, you want an answer?'' Drawkill Bonnie spoke up, much to everyone's surprise.
''Bonnie-'' Drawkill Chica hissed, but Connor held up his hand, silencing her.
''Go on,'' he told Drawkill Bonnie. ''I'm listening.''
''If you want to know my opinion of you, it's that you're someone who enjoys to have power and induce fear into people,'' Drawkill Bonnie said defiantly. ''However, behind all those devices you made, you are a complete coward.''
The other Drawkills stared at Bonnie in shock, then glanced at Connor, fearing his response. However, instead of screaming at the animatronic or threatening him, Connor remained disturbingly calm.
''So, you're claiming that I'm a coward?'' Connor asked in a quiet tone.
Drawkill Bonnie just nodded, despite the feeling of dread that spread through his body. However he knew that, whether he remained compliant or not, the end result would always be the same. To Connor, they were just tools he could easily discard and if he was already going down, he wanted make it clear that he wasn't Connor's puppet. Connor stared at him for a moment and then looked at the other Drawkills.
''Do you share the same opinion?'' he asked. Drawkill Freddy, Drawkill Chica and Drawkill Foxy exchanged glances, remaining silent. They truly wanted to speak up, they wanted to say that they agreed with Drawkill Bonnie, but the memory of the torture Connor had put them through caused them to freeze. They didn't want to experience the same again, despite the fact that they wanted to side with their friend. ''There really isn't anything you want to say?''
Drawkill Bonnie glanced at his companions, seeing the reluctance in their eyes. He shook his head lightly, much to their surprise, and turned back to Connor.
''They obviously have nothing to say,'' he said firmly. ''However, I'd like to know your thoughts.''
''My thoughts?'' Connor snorted.
Drawkill Bonnie started to scream in pain, falling down on his knees, clutching his head. Connor smirked, walking past him, looking quite satisfied with the result. A few moments later, Drawkill Bonnie felt the pain fading, with Drawkill Freddy helping him up. However, before anyone could say anything, Drawkill Bonnie suddenly walked past all of them.
''Bonnie, what are you doing?'' Drawkill Chica asked.
''I have enough of this,'' he growled, with his companions realizing that he was going towards the room where Raven was. They all had a bad feeling about this, but followed him nonetheless.
Meanwhile, Drawkill Bonnie opened the door and marched inside, with a determined look on his expression. He stepped in front of Raven, who was startled by the former's sudden entrance.
''What are you-?'' Before Raven could say anything more, Drawkill Bonnie grabbed the metallic spike that was wedged into the animatronic's chest. Raven's eyes flared up in shock, with him fearing that the Drawkill Animatronic would attempt to destroy his endoskeleton. ''Bonnie, what-?''
''Keep quiet and hold still!'' Drawkill Bonnie hissed as he wiggled the metallic spike. Raven closed his eyes, his head hurting from the sudden static that obscured his vision. His ears were buzzing, but he didn't dare to move in fear that he'll suffer from more damage. The torment he experienced, however, didn't last long, as he felt the spike being ripped out of his chest. A sensation, which could only be described as relief, overwhelmed him and he opened his eyes. While he was still cuffed to the pipes, he could now breathe more easily. However, Drawkill Bonnie's actions made no sense to him.
''Why?'' Raven asked. Drawkill Bonnie's eyes flared up.
''Because I hate Connor,'' he said, walking over to the nearby table and placing the spike on it. He then reached for the drawer, taking a key out of it and walked back to Raven, unlocking the cuffs. A moment later, Raven was free. He stepped back, staring at Drawkill Bonnie in shock, unsure what to make out of this. He looked at the entrance, seeing the other Drawkills staring at him.
''You're are crazy,'' Raven said. ''You know what Connor is going to do to you once he finds out about this.''
''Honestly, I don't care anymore,'' Drawkill Bonnie replied. ''Connor can do to me whatever he wants, but I'm not going to obey him anymore.'' He frowned. ''You need to leave right now, before Connor decides to pay you a visit.''
''What about your friends?'' Raven asked, glancing at the other Drawkills. ''How am I supposed to know that you won't hurt me in some way or that this isn't some kind of trick?''
''If you leave now, we won't stop you,'' Drawkill Bonnie said, stepping away.
Raven glanced at the other Drawkills, who too stepped away from the entrance, waiting for his move. Raven was still a bit hesitant. Now, that he was free, he wanted to go after Connor, but after he saw what Connor did to the Drawkills, he knew that he needed help. He frowned, walking out of the room and into the hallway, with Drawkill Freddy pointing towards where the exit was.
Raven nodded and, with one last glance, he quickly went to the exit, leaving the Drawkills to their fate.

For the Henry in Hell- maybe N. Balloon Boy, Rockstar Foxy, Scraptrap, and maybe Dave (since Henry wants to talk more with him)?
(Okay, I’m way too fucking tired to make these, but dear god, it’s five AM and I WILL fucking get the Henry in Hell stuff done NOT READ THIS OVER I’LL REGRET THIS AFTER HAVING HAD A NAP. BUT FOR NOW? KICK MY ASS AND CALL ME A CANDY CANE. I’M NOT WASTING MORE TIME. I’LL EDIT IT TOMORROW. ENJOY.)
Does he want to talk to Dave? It’s difficult to say. He wants answers. And Dave seems like the weakest link in the chain. There seemed to be certain beings that influenced how the nights played out. For now, he knew of three for a fact. Most obvious, DeeDee. Henry was considering that perhaps she was connceted to the old man- there was a keen smell of lake water whenever she appeared. At first he hadn’t noticed, but now he couldn’t miss it, no matter how badly his anger flared up when he saw her suddenly jump out from beneath the table, or some sort of black hole of vile darkness, where all the annoying thing festered and cross-bred to create worse and worse- He took a deep breath. Stay calm. … yes, the lake. The lake brought him here, it must have some sort of importance. Being capable of changing the rule of the night… that seemed to be within the lakes domain. Then there was the suit. Of course the suit was special. Remaining behind after the night, during the downtime. Sometimes Helpy and Rockstar Freddy appeared to give advice and little prices ‘for the trouble’, but they never remained for long. Also, both of them were bears. Like the suit. He hadn’t yet found a way to make the suit react to any sort of input from his side, thus testing him and the changes he caused to his environment was almost impossible. Even calling him Goldie drew hardly any reaction from him. The most influence he had seen the suit exert was about the TV program, but his continuous presence still was beyond notable. Now, last was… … Dave. Of course. If there was one person capable of manipulating the souls without even knowing how or that he was even doing it in the first place, it was his purple companion. Sometimes he had wondered if there was such a concept as deliberate chaos manipulation. Another thing he might would have figured out if he would have not been brutally cut off from all his studies. But, no time being bitter. All he need was to figure out the variables at his disposal, then he would be able to manipulate them to his own benefit. There was an exit. This was a trap, a way to contain him, a place consuming energy like any other. And there was a way to shut it down. He merely needed to figure it out. For that, however, he needed to start getting some data. Try out different stimulus. That was what he was ready to do today. He had plenty of positive contact with Dave so far, nothing more seemed to be coming out of it. Despite everything, Dave STILL insisted this here was a great place- and Henry did not care for it. There was nothing he could bribe out of his former friend anymore, he clearly was not being cooperative- so he would show him another side, at the risk of ruining any claim to their friendship forever. … not that there were any traces left after Dave had betrayed him. Valuing his object of obsession over him, spitting in the face of everything Henry had ever done for him. Nightmare Balloon Boy slipped into the room- the night had started. “AND WHAT WILL YOU DO TODAY, TOOTHPICK?” “You will be surprised. I am sure of that…” “YOU THINK YOU CAN SURPRISE ME?” “It is not you I plan to surprise, so it hardly matters.” The animatronic looked at him suspicious. “YOU SEEM VERY CONVINCED ABOUT THIS, SHORTSNACK.” “I am.” That was where Henry stopped the conversation. Saving his energy for the one he was meaning to hurt. He glanced at the Nightmare Balloon Boy, feeling barely anything for him. This creature would not attack- it was too weak to go against the rules, so it would be leering at him while he had the camera up, grinding his teeth. Rockstar Foxy he had actually never met before- and he’d try to avoid him tonight too. For some reason he always had the eerie feeling that this bird would never like him- no matter what he tried. He loved birds a lot. That was why birds tended to stay as far away from him as possible. The plastic nightmare snarked something- But Henry wasn’t listening. He didn’t need him anymore. He didn’t have to talk to him anymore, even if he liked it, even if it was entertaining. Henry’s focus was on one thing only. Dave. Namely, how to rip him apart. Slowly his fingers tapped on the table, as he shortly took down the camera to flash the animatronic in his room, before pulling it back up, looking at the little springtrapped head moving along. … why would the one he shouldn’t have killed give Dave so much ability to manipulate the world around him? To a point that he was even allowed to join him in the office without attacking? Probably because he wanted to see them fight. And frankly- Henry wanted to fight him too. He was tired. And angry. He wanted to face the stupid child and-
Talk to him.
There was no spite for him specifically, in some way he could admire this child and the world he created. The animatronics, all filled with at least some level of personality, and somehow convincing two creatures from beyond to aid him. Yes, there was a lot of raw potential here. Perhaps it could use some guidance. … at least he could TRY. Either he would get out, he would get to teach a high potential being, or- worst case- everything would stay the same. Dear god, this place was BORING him. Boring him like constant nails on chalkboard, boring him like itching teeth and a vile smell. Nothing was truly happening- and it was driving him crazy. Even worse so that Dave claimed this place was great, while still acting as though he was Henry’s best friend. There was something so intensely infuriating about it. It didn’t FEEL like Dave was free himself, but he thought if anyone could help him get out- it would be him. Yet he denied everything- The person who kept him here… All of a sudden a terrible idea grew inside of Henry’s mind. What- What if it was the Orange Guy? At least his long lost soul, biding its time until he could come and- That would explain why Dave was filled with so much life and personality. He WOULD know him. And the guy was extremely talented at convincing those around him to aid his wants. … maybe the child form he had taken on had to do with trauma? Dave himself seemed to have at least a second soul that got stuck back from before his mother died, it would not be too unlikely- not to mention that souls were inherently ageless. Perhaps it had been an act of deception, trying to throw Henry off the trail. Yet- that would leave the question… if the soul was here with him, then what was keeping the Orange Guy alive? He shuddered and tried not to think about it. There had to be something, SOMETHING powering him. Something… No matter what, it would be upsetting to hear his friend being insulted. And his glance on the camera confirmed that it was about to be done. A choice. He had to commit, with his very soul. And he would. The vents rattled, Henry refreshed the ventilation and put down the screen, flashing the Nightmare, before looking up at the vent. Almost instantly, Dave’s eyes shined a pale light out of the darkness. His grin glowed out from under the mask, just to gently shift into innocent confusion. “Henry. Aren’t ‘cha gonna let me in?” Coldly the Pink Man looked at his former friend. “No.” Dave’s grin widened for a moment, thinking it was a little game. “Aw, c’mon! What if I say please? Please lemme in? Pretty please!” “I do not think I will.” It was then that Davetrap caught on that something was going on. His expression shifted again, fully this time around. Worry, confusion and- annoyance. Of course, always the annoyance about defiance, Dave was one and the same as him on this topic. However, Henry at least always had the authority of logic- Dave had nothing, nothing but his unstable emotions and violence to justify his wants and get his way. “… why? What’s the problem, Henry?” “I am done with you.” The word came over Henry’s lips utterly naturally. He meant it. Even as Dave recoiled. The atmosphere in the establishment instantly changed, as well as Dave’s entire expression. It was glowing still, as bright and if not brighter… and plenty of people might misunderstand it as him still having fun, still amused, however Henry knew him better than he knew himself. He knew that was nothing but rage. “What did you say there, friend?” “I told you I am done with you. William, you have done nothing so far but to disappoint me.” There was an art to it- To give just enough of a pause to let the words HURT, but not enough to let a counterargument form- to let any resistance develop. “Frankly, I have given you many chances. Too many changes. Failure after failure was all you brought me however. I put all my effort into you- effort that I could have put into ANYONE else, into a damn PET and it would have served me better.” “You-“ “No. No, William, you do not get to talk. I have kept quiet for too long. Giving you mercy, care, hoping and praying for you to turn into something better- and now look at you. Who do you think you ARE?! Using my generosity? Abusing my patience?! You were useless! You never aided me when it counted, you never LEARNED, you were SELFISH, like an ANIMAL, you were IGNORANT, you were an OBSTACLE- All my WORK, all my LOVE for you, our BOND- It never existed outside of my head, did it?!” “What- Henry, I-“ “WHAT. What do you THINK you can SAY here?! WHAT EXCUSE DO YOU HAVE, I AM DYING TO KNOW! DYING, QUITE LITERALLY, BECAUSE OF YOUR DISLOYALTY, YOU SACRIFICED ME. YOU SACRIFICED ME, AND EVERYTHING WE HAVE WORKED FOR. YOU HAVE NO DIGNITY. YOU HAVE NOTHING YOU CARE ABOUT. YOU ARE A SHAM! A SHELL OF A PERSON! A HEARTLESS MONSTER! AND NOT EVEN ONE OF THOSE THAT ARE OF WORTH, OF VALUE, OF USE! Anything that you provided me with was something I could have reached by myself. All you have done was to hinder me.” Infuriated the guy in the vents hissed. “What the fuck do you think you’re sayin’?! I’VE BEEN-“ Mockingly Henry grinned up at him. “What? What have you been doing? When have you ever been useful? Protected me? Face it, William, I pitied you and that was my mistake. I should have known that there was a reason everyone discarded you before. Once you will be gone, nobody will cry for you- nobody will miss you. The Orange Guy- to him you are merely entertainment. You are a fucking TOY at best- and more so an UNLOVEABLE, REPLACABLE TOOL.” Finish it. One last time. Slowly he stood up, stepping towards the vent. “William. Look at me. I want you to look at me, and I want you to know… … everything would have been better if you never had existed.” With that he closed the vents- both the front and the side one, just in time as the entire room was shaking, flickering, as something hysterical was making its way through it- Both sides of Dave being blocked out, as Henry fell back into his seat, raising his monitor, fixing the ventilation just in time. The night was not long after that. When he returned to the office, the suit was positioned in a way that it was looking at Henry as he entered. … somehow looking disappointed. Accusing. But Henry had no interest in that. Instead his attention was drawn to the board. All animatronics were glowing. The board was RED. Good. It was time.
