taroumaru being inazuma's equivalent to ningguang sounds like the best crack fic idea yet
Tumblr media
like no one would think that this humble teashop owner is also the head of a spy ring spanning the entire continent
or that said spy ring is chock full of adorable dogs.
Tumblr media
a shiba spy thriller taking place under everyone's noses during the inazuma arc sounds both adorable and awesome~
and a little snippet of an opening to said shiba spy thriller below the cut
[the scene opens in a quiet brick road in inazuma , it's raining gently]
-over head shot; a shiba inu , clad in a hat and poncho is walking : the camera pans down to show the dogs face - he has a determined gaze and his black sesame fur made the look in his eyes even more tense .
he walks for a few minutes , when he pauses at a stair case ,.
a crack of a branch during the tranquil night causes his entire posture to stiffen, he's on high alert.
another dog pops out of the nearby bush , startling the first dog.
"oi , oi oi, what's got you all worked up kai - kunnn~" , drawls the cream colored shiba . he teeters a bit , and the glimpse of an anemo vision swings from his collar as he moves
the black sesame shiba - Kai - puts his head in his paws out of annoyance with his companion , " dammit , rei" kai growls "didn't you swear off the drink this year?"
"ne ~ mika-chan's in town so i deci-hic!-ded to have some fuuun~ , you shoulld come with next time, get a drink meet some girls~⭐"
rei falls face first in a puddle , and proceeds to roll around singing a drinking ditty
"tch ,now is not the time for such frivolous activities " Kai says with a huff "im here on business ; some possible maguu kenki activity was reported south of this area and i need to inform the boss about this" [kai readjusts his hat ]
Rei perks up at this new information "been meanin' ta' check in wit' the big guy myself~ , hope ya' don't mind lil; ol me joinin~~ ya~? " rei hopps up and shakes himself off ; kai tips his hat over his face to avoid getting splashed by his newfound traveling companion.
after a quick burst of wind to dry himself off , Rei staggers over to Kai with a newfound spring in his step
"we best move quickly , lest the rain gets any worse" uttered kai , readjusting his attire ,whilst pondering how and why this snow white womanizer gained a vision.
rei stretches a bit and says with a yawn " heeey~~ ya think his mightyness added anything new to the *hic* menu while we were away~?"
"that is the least of my worries right now " Kai replys with an eye roll .
Rei stumbles into Kai's side and both dogs collapse on top of each other .
rei lets out a loud belch - the smell of his breath is so vile , Kai scrambles to his feet in annoyance
"but maybe lord Taroumaru will have something to make you sober up! " Kai barks
Tumblr media
Rei :informant , woman respector extraordinaire, pickpocket - and fun fact this himbo doggo gets easily distracted by pretty girls of any shape , size and species.
Tumblr media
and here is the contemplative Kai ; he's a scout , and a chap with simple pleasures.
kai doesn't have much of a personal stake in the inazuma civil war ; but once things settle down , he thinks it'd be nice to be a guard dog for an apple orchard.

Blackpink Reaction To Their S/O Surprising Them W/ Dyed Hair
Tumblr media
A/N: Hello, my lovely readers! Thank you guys for being patient with me on the requests, I really appreciate it. This is my first time writing a reaction, so let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy. Happy reading, everyone!
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Everything is under the cut :)
Jisoo
Tumblr media
"Say hello to everyone," Jisoo requests through the phone, looking back up to the screen in front of her with that signature smirk playing on her lips. As fate would have it, she was in the middle of doing a live when you called. The fans love you -- especially since you're so funny and chaotic when you're around -- so you're happy to greet them.
"Hi, Blinks! I'll be there in a few minutes with a special surprise."
Jisoo lets out a shocked noise at this, considering you hadn't told her about your plans.
"Oye! Hurry home so we can see it." She says excitedly, lightly bouncing up and down on the bed. With a smile that's evident in your voice, you tell her goodbye.
---
In one swift motion, you scoop up a cheery Dalgom in your arms, laughing at how he licks your cheeks in greeting.
"I love you, too, buddy."
After setting your bag down on the couch, you make your way to Jisoo's room. Little do you know, she has a surprise of her own in store.
"BOO!" She shouts, keeping her phone steady to capture your reaction to the scare. You tense up and shout, nearly dropping Dalgom in the process, but you recover after a moment. Both of you break out into a fit of giggles, and you look over at the computer on the bedside table to find the fans blowing up the chat. Jisoo wipes the tears of laughter from her eyes, and looks at you again; only now does she notice your new hair.
At first, she's speechless -- only capable of looking at you with hearts in her eyes. Eventually, though, she finds her voice again. "Y/N! Wow, it looks gorgeous!" She smiles, running her hand through the newly dyed locks. Her accent made the compliment even more special, and you don't even try to stop the grin that tugs at your lips.
---
Now seated on the bed with Jisoo beside you and Dalgom in your lap, you flip your hair around exaggeratedly as you show it to the audience. The positive comments roll in, and you take turns reading some of them out loud. From her position against the headboard, she can see the different hues of your hair shine and shimmer brightly in the gentle lamplight; she can't help but admire you.
After half an hour or so, she decides to end the live. You pull Dalgom into your arms again and smoosh your cheek up against Jisoo's, making sure to crowd in enough to fit into frame. Something must have gotten into her, because she leans around to press a lingering kiss to the corner of your lips, right in front of the camera. You can only imagine how much harder the fans are going to ship you now.
With a final wave and goodbye to everyone, she ends it. She wraps one arm around your back as her other comes to rest on your thigh, reaching up every now and then to pet Dalgom's head.
"I'm so happy you like it." You say after a few minutes, breaking the comfortable silence that had fallen over the room. She lifts her head from its place on your shoulder to look at you. "Of course I do, Y/N. Did you doubt that I would?"
"Not exactly… I was just afraid it might not turn out pretty. You know?" She nods in response, but her heart breaks a little: you have no idea how amazing you are.
"I understand, but you don't ever need to worry about that. Everything about you is beautiful because it's a part of you. You make everything pretty." She gushes, tracing little patterns on your hip.
You attempt to dismiss her words, throwing a hand into the air while making a little "pshh" sound, but she doesn't stand for it. "I mean it, Y/N. I'm not just saying that. I'm glad to call you mine; you're so special." Her words affect you more than you thought they would, and soon tears are blurring your vision. Who knew dying your hair could lead to all this?
"I don't know what I did to deserve you, Jisoo, but I love you so much. You always know what to say." And it's true -- she does. She knows you get insecure sometimes, and she's always there to reassure you of her feelings when you need it most.
"And I love you." She affirms, allowing her head to rest on your shoulder again now that you're happy.
Feeling left out, Dalgom lets out a little bark; he wants attention too. In an instant, the room is filled with kissy noises and the sound of your high pitched voices as you both talk to him and shower him with love.
Jennie
Tumblr media
"Jen, I'm home!" With a shrug of your shoulders, the warm material of your coat falls down your arms. As you hang it on the rack beside the door, a smile tugs at your lips; Jennie gave you that coat, and it's always done well in keeping you warm and comfortable when she can't be around to do so. You make a mental note to thank her properly.
With that, you amble into the kitchen.
"Yah, jagi! What took so long? I missed you." Jennie whines, her words slipping past the cute little pout that's surely adorning her face. She's preparing a snack at the counter, her back turned to you as she struggles to open the sauce jar.
"Here, let me help," you offer, approaching her.
As she hands you the container, she turns to look at you for the first time tonight. Her eyes widen as she does a double take at you. You don't notice, though -- your focus is elsewhere.
"Jisoo and I saw a new gaming store when we were out today and we decided to stop in. We didn't expect to be there for so long; we just got wrapped up." You tell her, answering her previous question as you finally manage to pop the lid open. Upon sliding the jar over to her and meeting her gaze, an instant blush begins to make its way to your cheeks. Her pupils are blown wide now, and her lips are pursed as she appreciates the sight of you. You never fail to send her heart wild.
"I'm convinced you can rock any color," she flirts, smiling widely at the reaction her words garner from you.
"Why don't you come a little closer and get a better look?" You ask, fighting the shyness that threatens to take over you. She quirks an eyebrow before sauntering over, swiftly moving to tangle her hands in your hair. "It suits you so well, babe." She compliments, toying with the soft strands that fall down into your face as you lean in closer to her. Her embrace is comforting, as always, and you sigh at the feeling of her fingers against your scalp. Before she can stop herself, Jennie leans forward and connects your lips in a sweet kiss. She tastes like fruit, and you can't get enough of the flavor. Working with a sneaking suspicion, you open your eyes and glance over at her work station. Now, with your fears confirmed, you abruptly pull away.
She groans at the loss of contact, but you're quick to speak up. "You made tanghulu without me?? Woooow, Jennie. I'm hurt." You tease, acting truly upset as you take a step away from her. She shakes her head, letting out a little chuckle; for a second, she worried you were upset about something serious.
"Shush, we can always make more."
You don't drop the act so easily, though, and the playful glint in her eye tells you that she's enjoying the banter.
"What else have you done without me today? If you watched that new drama without me then you're sleeping on the couch tonight." A guilty expression falls over her features, and she avoids your gaze.
"About that…" she starts, rubbing the back of her neck as a dry chuckle slips past her lips.
"JENNIE KIM!"
"I'm messing with you, babe. That would be treason." She pulls you into her arms again, raising a hand and giving you a sort of "scout's honor" gesture to prove that she isn't lying. After narrowing your eyes at her one last time to ensure she's being truthful, you give in and kiss her again.
"Fine. You'll just have to keep kissing me to make up for the tanghulu."
"Oh, really? I'll have to start making it without you more often, then." She laughs against your lips as you pinch her for that remark. Your mood brightens exponentially at the sound of her giggles, and you wrap your arms around her even tighter.
Rosé
Tumblr media
“I'm home, my love!" You shout, slipping your shoes off and setting them beside the door. A content sigh leaves your lips as you undo the top few buttons of your shirt, finally able to relax and see Rosé. Her excited footsteps carry out across the house as she makes her way downstairs, Hank following right along. You crouch down to pick him up, smiling at the precious way his ears bounce around as he runs into your arms.
"Oww, my heart," Rosie exclaims with a grin, holding her hand against her chest in mock pain. Nothing can compare to seeing her two loves so happy and carefree. She pads her way over to you, and you kiss the top of Hank's head before setting him on the ground. Her arms wrap around your waist, and you pull her in for a warm embrace; the two of you stand like that for a minute, swaying back and forth. Eventually she pulls back to press a kiss to your lips -- something she's been dying to do all day -- and she takes your hat off in order to run her hands through your hair.
"I missed you, babe." The words come out quietly, accompanied by a frown. You peck her lips again until her pout turns into a soft little smile, and rest your forehead against hers.
"Me too. But now I have the next 3 days off, and I'm all yours." Her eyes look into yours lovingly, but quickly shift to look at your newly exposed hair.
A sound of surprise stutters past her lips -- you've truly taken her breath away. She has a special twinkle in her eye as she looks at you, completely in love. Her fingers skim across your collarbone and neck as they move to play with your hair.
"It's beautiful, just like you." You tut at her and bring your hands up to cover your face, taking refuge behind them. She's quick to pull them away, though, pressing a kiss to your knuckles and wrists before interlocking your fingers.
"I mean it, Y/N. You're always so stunning." There's no denying the effect her words have on you; even after being together for as long as you have, her compliments never fail to set your heart aflame.
"How'd I get so lucky, huh?" You ask her as you let your hands settle on her hips. She's clad in a crop top and jeans, and the soft skin of her abdomen against your fingertips is a wonderful contrast to the rough material of her pants.
It's her turn to blush now. "I love you to the mountains and back and to the far far hills--" your giggles interrupt her recital, and she just laughs along with you. "I love you, too, Rose. So much." She presses another kiss to your cheek before leading you up the stairs and calling out for Hank to follow.
Lisa
Tumblr media
As you walk down the hallway of the dance studio, destination set on Lisa's rehearsal room, you can hear the strong beat of "Candy" by Doja Cat pulsing inside. A stray staff member passes by you, looking nearly entranced as you run a hand through your hair to readjust it and smile at her. She watches you walk away, incapable of taking her eyes off of you, and that simple act boosts your confidence tenfold. You had been a little nervous to see how people would react to your new look -- Lisa, in particular -- but all of the approval you've been receiving has eased your worries so far.
With one final, steadying breath, you release your fears and open the door.
Your girlfriend doesn't notice you come in at first, given that she's totally in her element, her body winding around as she performs the moves expertly. You lean against the doorframe now, taking in the beautiful sight. During one particular part of the song, she does a set of body rolls, putting the muscles of her abdomen on full display as she flexes them. The low lighting of the room sets the mood perfectly, creating just the right ambiance.
"Damn, baby. Am I crazy or are you somehow getting even better?" The words startle her ever so slightly, pulling her from the other world that she was just in. She glances at you from across the room, and a look of confusion crosses her face for a split second. After she registers that you're you and not some random staff member, her jaw drops to the floor.
Totally disregarding your previous question, she's quick to replace it with her own as she runs over to you. "Y/N! Oh my gosh, why didn't you tell me??" The words come out in a rush as she engulfs you in a tight embrace, and you snuggle into her warmth.
"I wanted to surprise you. I've been wanting to switch it up for a while, and somebody told me that this is your favorite color." You say, unwrapping one of your hands from her waist and bringing it up to toy with your hair. "Do you like it?" You ask, biting your lip as the nerves begin to creep back in momentarily. Lisa hasn't said anything yet -- she's just been studying your features with the hint of a smirk on her lips.
"No, I don't."
"Wha--"
"I love it, babe. You're so beautiful." She says as she rests her forehead against yours.
With a sigh, you nudge her playfully. "Hey, don't do that to me! I thought you didn't like it." You pout, avoiding her now incredulous gaze.
"Look at me." She commands, cupping your cheek gently as she lifts your head to face her. "Did you seriously think I wouldn't like it? You could be bald and I'd still be just as in love with you as ever. But that color looks absolutely gorgeous on you."
She always knows just what to say.
"I love you, dork." You grin, pressing a kiss against her soft lips.
"And I love you. Now, come dance with me." Her hands skim down your arms on their journey to your hands, and she interlocks your fingers. She walks backwards towards the middle of the room, doing a goofy little shimmy on the way. Her antics draw a giggle from you, and she reciprocates. Before long, the two of you are having a full on dance battle as another new song blasts through the speakers.

||𝟑𝐑𝐃 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐎𝐕||
"Do you copy? This is a code red."
The rising sun makes its way through the blinds in Max's bedroom, its gentle yellow rays split into several thin beams and casting out over the three sleeping bodies splayed over one another on the floor. El's body still curled into Y/n's arm, her hair a mess. Y/n was splayed out on her stomach, crooked, as her head had edged its way onto Max's pillow and her legs fell over El's. All the while, a sleeping Max had resorted to using the back of Y/n's shoulder as a pillow.
And they were snug as can be, tucked away in sleep, drool threatening to drip from their parted mouths as Lucas's desperate voice rings out from Max's super com.
"I repeat, this is a code red."
The device seems to grow louder with every word, slowly but surely pulling the girls from sleep.
"Max. Do you copy?" Max lifts her head from Y/n's shoulder, scooching back onto her pillow, and begins palming the ground under her bed. "This is a code red."
Her hand finally finds the comms and she senses El lazily rise up onto her elbow. She presses the button and seethes into the microphone.
"Shut. Up."
She slams the antenna down and shuts off the device, throwing it back under the bed. Y/n hums into the pillow, eyes still closed.
"Mm... what's red?" She asks through clenched teeth, still much too tired to even move her jaw.
"Nothing," Max yawns.
She turns over in bed, nestling back into the rainbow sheets and finding herself nearly nose to nose with Y/n as El rubs the sleep from her eyes, finally joined them. El just settles her head back into her pillow, her tangled hair still falling over her face and blocking out the sun. She let out a soft yawn, letting sleep return to her as she snuggled back into Y/n's arm happy and warm.
⊹ ⊹ ⊹
Lucas stares at his super com in light shock as he looked between his friends perched on either side of him on the basement couch.
"She turned it off."
Simultaneously, Will, Lucas, and Mike's eyes all jump to the phone hanging on the wall.
⊹ ⊹ ⊹
The blaring ring of Max's telephone is the next thing to wake them, and Y/n groans. Max shoots up in anger, her long red hair falling over her glaring face.
"Oh, you have got to be kidding me." She seethes, pulling herself up to her feet.
"Tell him we're not home," Y/n mumbles, still fighting a losing battle with sleep and a foggy mind.
Max stomps across the floor, strategically maneuvering around her friends, and rips the phone off its receiver.
"I'm sleeping. Go away,"
"Max, this is Will—" her hand caught mid-air, the boy's words barely registering to her in time. Reluctantly, she brings the phone back up to her ear. "I need you to stay on the line, and please just listen."
When Will doesn't hear the click of the dial tone, he breathes a sigh of relief. His eyes dart over his shoulder at his waiting friends trying to feed him the words but he ignores them, turning away.
Max frowns into the phone at what he says next, his voice going pleading.
"Is Y/n there?" There's a pause, and Max frowns down at the phone when she thinks she hears light shushing. "And El? Are you guys all together?"
Okay, now she was bugging out a little.
"Why?" She asks, an edge gradually returning to her voice out of concern.
She glances over her shoulder at her two best friends; Y/n had finally opened her eyes and was trying to make sense of her surroundings as she squinted through the sunlight and El was flowing up at her, worried.
"Just, stay together, okay? Something bad happened, is happening, whatever. We don't really know, but we can't take any chances."
"Okay, what are you talking about? What's going on?" She presses.
"Just meet us at Mike's house, and I'll explain. We all will. Just get over here, quickly."
"What?"
"Hurry!"
And then the line went dead.
Max held the phone in her hand, her stare drifting off as Will's words echoed in her mind.
"What'd he say?" El asked.
"Yeah," Y/n yawned, finally pulling herself into a sitting position, her face puffy from sleep. "is everything okay?"
⊹ ⊹ ⊹
"Try Dustin again," Mike says, turning to Lucas.
"He's not answering," Lucas says.
"So, try him again,"
Lucas bites back a sigh and returns to his comms with a sigh. Will picks the phone back up, shooting Mike a knowing look.
"I'll try their house,"
Lucas shoots him a thankful look before returning to his mindless search.
"Dustin, do you copy? I repeat... this. is. a. code red."
⊹ ⊹ ⊹
Dustin watches from the very same ledge as Lynx Transportation hauls a cart full of shipments from Kauffman Shoes and Imperial Panda. But his mind was still spinning, trying to formulate possible answers as to just what he was dealing with as he scouts for their routine.
His eyes had caught on the third armed officer who approached the keypad holding a small plastic card, and Dustin made a mental note.
"That keycard opens the door, but unfortunately the Russian with this keycard has a massive gun,"
Sure enough, the metal doors swung open and the cart is pushed inside. Apart from his cautious glare on the armed guard standing watch, his eyes try to catch whatever lays beyond the threshold.
It looked to Dustin to be a storage room no bigger than his living room, stacked with similar boxes.
"Whatever's in this room, whatever's in those boxes, they really don't want anybody finding it," Dustin concludes as he paces the back room of Scoops Ahoy.
Robin and Steve sit opposite one another in thought.
"But there's gotta be a way in," Robin mutters.
"Well, you know..." Steve stops twirling his hat, quickly reshaping the top with a quick puff of air before dropping it on the table and leaning in with a serious tone. "I could just take him out,"
"Take. Who. Out?" Robin blinked.
"The Russian guard," he answers obviously.
Robin leans back in her seat, nodding sarcastically at him through wide eyes and Steve scoffs.
"What? I sneak up behind him, I knock him out, and I take his keycard. It's easy,"
"Did you not... hear the part about the massive gun?" Dustin asks with crossed arms.
"Yes," Steve snarks, surprised. "Dustin, I did. And that's why I would be... sneaking."
"Ahh," Dustin nods. "Well, please, tell me this, and be honest, have you ever actually..." Dustin gives an all too casual shrug, knowing exactly what button he was pushing. "won a fight?"
"OH-kay, that was one time—"
"—Twice. Jonathan. Year prior?"
"Uh, listen. That doesn't count,"
"Why wouldn't it? Because it looks like he beat the shit out of you."
Robin finds herself laughing, lazily rolling her eyes across the shop as the two continue to bicker.
"It was—"
Her grin slowly falls when her eyes catch something in the corner.
"—You got a fat lip, crooked nose, swollen eye, a lot of blood,"
"...things all added up, yeah they sound bad but..."
As the thought grew into an idea, the grin returned to Robin. "That just might work,"
She was out of the backroom, hand diving into the tip jar faster than they could blink. They scrambled to the window in a baffled frenzy.
"Robin,"
She didn't answer, and when she made a break for the exit, Steve and Dustin tumbled out from the back room.
"Hey, Robin! Hey, what— what are you doing?"
"I need cash," she explains, backing out of the store.
"Well, half of that's mine," he pouts. "Where're you going?"
"To find a way into that room, a safe way. And, in the meantime, sling ice cream, behave, and don't get beat up," she says with an excited smirk. "I'll be back in a jiff!"
With a quick two-finger salute, she had disappeared into the crowd leaving her privately self-proclaimed Dingus Duo at home base.
Steve sighs, looking to Dustin only to find him licking the scooper.
"Oh, dude," he scolds, yanking it out of his hands and returning it to his sling with a twirl. "Come on, man, not my scooper,"
⊹ ⊹ ⊹
The trip to Mike's house had indeed been a quick one. When Max had relayed the message, a grave face became all of them. El and Y/n looked at each other and knew; their fears were being realized. And Max knew there was no more denying it, no matter how much she wanted to. No matter how much she needed to.
"I didn't think it was anything at first," Will says.
He was before his friends - most of them anyway - all of them seated around the coffee table in Mike's basement. He hadn't realized how much he had missed Y/n until he had seen her, nor her him. And neither had left each other's side since they gathered. She was sat beside him on a low footstool, El to her right on the upholstered chair, and him on her left; perched on the arm of the couch to the far right of Mike and Lucas.
Concern was etched on her features, as it was on all of them as they listened intently.
"I mean, I think I just didn't want to believe it." He sighs, locking eyes with Y/n knowingly. "The day I first felt it was at Day of the Dead,"
《•••》
And not unlike only months short of a year prior, when he felt himself ensnared in the terror and icy grip of the monster that lurked in shadows only he could see, Will Byers could feel his skin tightening painfully as goosebumps gripped his neck. It was a chill he hoped he'd never feel again, a chill that had nearly destroyed him and his family and friends. And Y/n. The passionate, fiery, hatred for the girl was the only thing about this icy monster that burned brighter than the horrifying memories it left with him.
"Will?"
Startled, his head is ripped to her direction, arm already slipping away from his neck as she stares at him in worry. She recognized the look in his eyes all too well, and immediately she knew something was amiss.
"Will, what is it?"
《•••》
"The power went out that night, too," Mike says in realization, and Will nods.
"And then I felt it again at the field near the Nelson farm the next day."
《•••》
Will stopped suddenly when the world plunged away from underneath his feet and the dark feeling returned. All the while, Y/n's voice faded into the distance as he gripped his goosebump-covered neck, looking fearfully out onto the horizon.
"Think they'll carry me if I fake a leg injury?" She chuckles, her voice far away and fleeting from him.
Despite the steady burst of hot air carried through the breeze and the sun beating down on his skin, he felt a total absence of warmth. And like almost like a phantom limb, all he can feel is panic and something dark, and desperate... Something angry.
"Will?"
《•••》
"Then again, yesterday outside Castle Byers,"
《•••》
As Will mingled with the dirt beneath him, the storm pounding against his back soaking him to the bone, he feels it again.
The same feeling he had felt the night before Dustin's return, the day of, and now...
Well, there was no denying it. No more running. This was real, and it wasn't something so easily shaken.
A great change was upon him and his friends, a change none of them were prepared for.
Shakily, he pulls himself to his feet, not entirely sure if the voice calling his name was real.
"Will?"
With a faraway look in his eyes, Will turns to his awaiting friends as his stomach plummets beneath the earth.
《•••》
"What does it feel like?" Max asks from her spot across the coffee table.
"It's almost like..." everyone watches patiently as Will draws on a thoughtful face, for once it seems, struggling for the right words. "You know when you drop on a rollercoaster?"
Y/n, Max, and Mike all nod.
"Mm-hmm,"
"Yeah,"
"Sure,"
"No," El says, still listening intently.
"It's like... everything inside your body is just sinking all at once, but this is worse," Will says, a faraway look in his eyes that Y/n knows all too well. "Your body... it goes cold. And you can't... breath."
Will's eyes jump down his wringing hands when he feels Y/n entwining her left with his right, interlacing their fingers and giving his hand a reassuring squeeze. He feels his shoulders slack at her warm touch and he sends her a thankful look before continuing, feeling just a little braver.
"I've left it before," he says through a wavering voice. "whenever he was close."
《•••》
He fearfully crept towards the front door. He came to a stop when he heard the dreadful sound of wood creaking and he watched in horror as the front door slowly swung open to reveal a reddish-purple sky, and the violent winds were carrying leaves and other debris with it. Something strange was growing around the outside of the house and he felt the familiar sensation returning.
He felt his blood run cold and his skin shriveled up, goosebumps breaking out all over. His breathing picked up and he could feel the hair on the back of his neck stand up as he watched frozen in terror.
《•••》
"Whenever who was close?" Mas asked, fearing the answer she already knew.
Will tried to remind himself he was in the presence of his love and his friends but fear still gripped his lungs and threatened to steal his voice. Finally, with a trembling breath, he spoke the truth none of them wanted to hear, changing the rest of their summer - and possibly the rest of their lives - forever.
"The Mind Flayer."
《•••》
"Go away!"
It got closer. It was swooping in like a vulture but Will didn't give in.
"Go away! Go away!" Tears were streaming down his face, and the monster got closer.
《•••》
Y/n's eyelids fall closed at the mention of the monster that brought so much harm and grief to her and the lives of her loved ones as the truth hits her completely. Just the sight of his convulsing body and his weeping mother that day out on the field when the Mind Flayer got him was traumatic enough. Her eyes flicker back open, back onto the equally horrified looks of her friends and her grip on her boyfriend's hand tightens.
"I closed the gate," El reasons.
"I know, but," for a moment, WI loses his voice again and he clings to Y/n's touch like a lifeline bringing him back. He fears the words he is about to speak, not only for his sake but for everyones. For Y/n's. But the fear was too great to keep quiet. If it was even a real possibility, it had to be stopped. As soon as possible. "What if he never left?"
Shakily, he looks around the room with horror hidden within his hazel irises until they land on Y/n, full of grief. His voice was soaked with apology, unable to contain his worry.
"What if we locked him out here with us?"
Y/n's head turns to meet El's eyes, the two share an equally concerned and knowing gaze from beside one another. Her stomach was twisting into knots, the horrible, sickly feeling of dread that had been building for the past two nights was finally realized.
||𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋'𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐕||
"This is him," I say, throwing a spare piece of paper on the D&D table before us all. The six of us all stood together, finally surrounding the D&D table for all the wrong reasons but there's no time to think about that now. I grab the charcoal in hand and began frantically scribbling an all too familiar shape in charcoal. "All of him,"
"But that day on the field," I explain. "part of him attached itself to me,"
I fight the intrusive memory trying to overwhelm me, bringing back the phantom chill that has always lingered since that day.
《•••》
He stood frozen, now trapped in the swirling fog. Several black tendrils spawned from the mass and invaded Will and he could feel the evil presence as it possessed his body and settled in his very soul.
《•••》
I yank my hand across the page, pulling up my dirtied palm to show my friends before nodding to my left.
"Y/n got him out of me,"
《•••》
"I think it's an earthquake!" Mike cries.
A light breeze picks up in the tunnel from where they're headed, carrying with it a warm toasty wave of heat that answered their question.
"No, not an earthquake!" Dustin's eyes went wide from behind his goggles as he looked to the others excitedly. "It's Y/n!"
•••
The Henderson child had managed to pull herself from unconsciousness, and she now stood across the bed. Her arms were stretched out before her and a blazing fire resided in her eyes, a grunt pulled from deep within her throat. Three bloody lines where his nails had caught her ran diagonally down her vein-covered face. Each vein protruded from her skin as blood poured from her nose and ears.
Like a broken dam, all that raw power trapped inside her burst free. Y/n was a supernova, a sight to behold as everything inside her exploded all around her.
•••
Will's mouth opens in another scream and a billowing cloud of inky black smoke escapes. It twists and unravels out from between his lips like a pitch-black tornado.
《•••》
"and El closes the gate,"
I flip the page back over and my eyes trail across my friends' faces thoughtfully, the last of the pieces falling into place as I explain.
"The part that was still in me, what if it's still in our world?"
《•••》
It grows larger and larger, circling over the boy and looms over the entire room as it had the last few days. Will's body goes limp, falling back onto the mattress as the dark mass zips across the room and through the front door breaking it open.
Nancy quickly recovers her footing and chases it out of the door to assure it's leaving for good. Sure enough, when she reaches the porch she spots the black dust circle the trees before disappearing into the sky.
《•••》
I plant my charcoal-dusted hand on the paper, leaving behind a faint trace of black.
"In Hawkins," I conclude.
"I don't understand," Max began. "The Demodogs died when El closed the gate. If the brain dies, the body dies,"
Y/n shook her head gravely from beside me, standing up a little straighter after leaning against the table.
"But the brain didn't die," she sighed heavily in realization. "Not all of it. So the part that was in control, lost. And so did the army, but, enough must have survived... And now after all this time..." She trailed off.
Mike nodded from beside me.
"Exactly," he said. "We can't take any chances. We need to assume the worst... The Mind Flayer is back."
I feel Y/n shift uncomfortably from beside me, her eyes drilling holes into the paper as she chews on her lip and I feel a tug in my chest. But the others were still looking towards me, waiting, and so was she so I continued.
"And if he is," I begin, hesitant to tear my eyes away from her. "He'll want to attach himself to someone again. A new me,"
Once again my eyes meet with all my friends as the very air around grows thicker, and Lucas finally concludes what we all fear.
"A new host,"
I nod and the room falls quiet again at the challenge laid before us.
It was difficult enough facing an enemy as powerful and ruthless as the Mind Flayer, but I think it helped our chances considerably he attached himself to me; someone who already had some insight on his territory, the Upside Down. Not only that, but I was indescribably lucky enough to have the people I have in my life who fought for me. The chief, Bob, my friends. Jonathan and my mom, and of course Y/n.
But his next victim could be anybody, and that's what makes him even more dangerous.
Finally, Y/n broke the silence - the second time she had spoke since the news had been broken. If I thought she was terrified before, I was dead wrong. I saw pure dread growing in her eyes as they trailed from El's and up to mine, widened and shining. It was with a plunging stomach I knew she had our first clue.

Tumblr media
Being a Potter seemed like an easy gig to most people. The big house, nice family, a large amount of money, it definitely seemed like a piece of cake. And if your name is James then yes, yes it was. But if your name was y/n- or as most people called you James' sister -than no, no it wasn't.
When you were eleven you had walked up to the chair and sat down with your eyes locked on your smiling brother. He was seated between his three best friends and practically glowing with excitement from the gold and red table.
The old hat was placed on your head and you could already the word that would flow from its leathery mouth. But to your surprise along with everyone else's in the large dining hall, not even a second after the hat landed on your y/h/c head it bellowed, "Slytherin!"
The hall fell silent and your eyes, still on your brother went wide. James' on the other hand narrowed, his lips piercing to a thin line.
You felt your heart break as your best friend turned away from you in disgust. And at eleven years old you had already been smashed to pieces by the person you loved most.
Your parents had sent you a letter telling you it was alright to be in a different house but they didn't act like it was. When James joined the quidditch team they had cheered for him and came to as many games as they could.
When you joined the Slytherin team as a keeper they had dismissed it with a wave of a hand and only came to your games when you happen to be playing Gryffindor. They were always adorned in yellow and red.
They almost never sent you letters when James received one once a week. They would support James no matter what, but if you slipped up even once they would come down on you in a hail storm of fury.
By third year you stopped coming home over breaks, you would spend Christmas at Hogwarts alone. But summers were unavoidable. You would simply go home and hide in your room, only coming down stairs for meals which you eat in silence as you listened to your parents gush about James' achievements.
When Sirius joined you in your fourth year, their fifth, your life went from bad to worse.
Sirius was an asshole. He always was and always will be. He was arrogant and stubborn, he was sure he was the best thing in the world and that he had everyone trapped under his finger. And watching him receive more love from your parents than you did made living under the same roof as the boy nearly impossible.
What made it worse was the fact that he was irritatingly handsome. He was dashing and charming, somehow managing to make you hate him just to avoid feeling something else.  It made you sick that you even had thoughts of him in a positive way whatsoever. But even though you would never admit it, you did.
And now you had to welcome another one of your least favorite people into your life.
You hated Lily Evans. From the minute layed eyes on the girl you could feel a sickening loathing build up in you like a fire. With each overly sweet smile she threw and disgustingly soft laugh she uttered the larger that fire burned.
It wasn't like she had ever done anything wrong to you. She was always nice when you passed in the hallways, she never picked on you or called you 'James' little sister' a term you had grown to hate. She was always kind to you, even when your brother was being a brat like usual. And that was one of the many reasons you hated her.
She was perfect. It made you want to hurl. Her fiery red hair and emerald eyes. Her perfect grades and great scores. She was kind, brave, smart and cunning. She had it all. Plus your brother, who wouldn't even spare you a glance, trailed after her like a lost puppy. She was the physical embodiment of everything you hated.
Of course now she was dating James which meant you had to put up with her bullshit even more than usual.
You were downstairs making yourself a sandwich, when the doorbell rang. You rolled your eyes and walked to go open it.
You swung the door open ready to shoo away some girl scouts when you came face with your worst nightmare.
"Hey y/n!" She smiled waving a bit.
Your mouth dropped and eyes went wide before narrowing to slits and your mouth slamming shut into a scowl.
You merely growled the word "Nope." Before slamming the door shut straight into her face.
"Y/n! What the hell?" You turned your mood souring from bad to worse.
"You deal with you preppy girlfriend James, I dont have the energy for her." You hissed.
He simply rushed past you his shoulder hitting yours harshly as he passed and opened the door.
"Lily, I am so sorry for my sister is being an asshole again.."
The rest of the conversation died out as you snatched your sandwich and darted upstairs. You quickly slammed into James room to meet Sirius, who was adorned in only a towel his black hair dripping wet. You ignored the sight and focused on the problem at hand.
"What the hell y/n?!" Sirius snapped, his face flushing.
"Yeah what the hell!" You responded to worked up to care about his lack of clothing.
Sirius shot you a confused look, his cheeks now a blazing red.
"Why is Evans here?!" You screeched.
"Maybe because she's meeting her boyfriend's parents?" Sirius bellowed back, "Now get out!"
You ran from the room slamming the door behind you and retreating from your safe haven. You stopped in your tracks when you saw your mother frantically attempting to clean your room.
"Y/n!" She scolded, "Your room is a complete disaster!"
"What are you doing in here?" You asked voice angry.
"Lily is going to be sleeping in here so clean this place up!" She yelled motioning to your disaster of a room.
Your fury strengthened, "I wont clean shit for that bitch." You growled.
"Y/n!" Your mother gasped in disgust.
You left before she had a chance to say anything more. Your head pounded as you thundered down the steps not bothering to move in the slightest as your brother and his girlfriend ascended upward. You shouldered them roughly out of the way James protests fading in the back of your mind.
You ran for the door, grabbing your purse and shoes from the mudroom before sprinting onto the street.
It had rained that night so everything was damp, causing your mitch-matched socks thin fabric to grow cold and wet. The scent of wet asphalt and dewy grass filled you helping to calm your nerves as you ran from your inevitable future.
You knew that eventually you were going to have to go back to that house and deal with your mother and father and brother and his girlfriend and probably his best friend too. But you ignored that fact sitting on a bench to pull on your converse. You didn't bother to tie them.
You then stood up and began to walk with no destination in mind. You walked for about an hour before you realized how hungry you are. You never got to eat that sandwich and breakfast was a distant memory.
You quickly found a small coffee shop and walked inside enjoying the strong scent of the beverage it emitted. You ordered before plopping down at your table and staring helplessly out the window. You watched people move back and forth outside of the window feeling slightly like a tiger locked in a zoo behind the thick glass. You stared at the thick purple clouds that bruised the grey sky, ignoring who's eyes they reminded. You were so entranced with the scene in front of you, you didn't even notice that your food was placed in front of you until you turned to see it there, the sandwich slightly cold.
You sighed, too hungry to discard the food put in front of you. You ate slowly, as if you were unsure if the meal was safe. You then turned your head back to the street to see a dark haired boy smirking back at you. You instantly stood, sprinting for the door.
The idea of being brought back to that house made you want to hurl the sandwich you had just eaten. So you began to run not bothering to look back, your feet thundered on the wet cement of the sidewalk before you turned down an alley only to yelp when you were greeted by a bored looking Sirius Black.
"Did you seriously think that you could outrun me." He questioned eyebrows raised.
"I could if you didn't use magic." You scoffed, attempting to shoulder past him and continue to the next street over. You were stopped when he grabbed you shoulder harshly.
"Why the hell did you run?" He asked almost seeming worried. You quickly brushed off the thought. Sirius Black doesn't worry, much less about Slytherins.
You hummed pretending to think, "Maybe because I don't want to deal with greasy haired asshole who is going to take me back to my living hell?"
"Hey!" Sirius protested, clearly offended, "My hair is not greasy!"
"You can not be serious." You sneered rolling your eyes.
"I'm always sirius." He smiled back satisfied with his overused and unoriginal pun.
You resisted the urge to smack him. "Why did you come anyways?"
"Your brother sent me." He shrugged, "plus we both know you don't want to walk all the way back to your house."
"Who said I was going back?" You challenged, eyes narrowing.
Sirius sighed, "You are going back weather you get on my bike yourself or I force you onto it." You glowered at him.
"If I could you use magic I would wipe your ass all over the street." You threatened.
"I know." He smiled, "that's why I'm happy you can't."
"I'm not going." You decided planting your feet and crossing your arms, head held high.
Sirius let out a strenuous sigh clearly annoyed, "Come on." He whined, "Your brother said I had to bring you back."
You pursered your lips, looking away from the boy.
He groaned, "Are you fucking with me?"
"Nope." You responded lips popping on the p.
"You're really going to make me hex you?" He grumbled.
You nodded making the boy let out another moan in protest before raising his wand and muttering "Rictusempra."
You immediately burst into giggles "You asshole." You spit out between laughs as a tickling sensation made you lose all other abilities.
Sirius grabbed you throwing you over his shoulder like you were a doll.
"I'm gonna kill you." You giggled unable to stop the laughter spurring from your mouth.
"I'm so threatened." Sirius smirked back before plopping you down on his motorcycle and buckling his helmet on your y/h/c head.
"Hold onto my waist, I don't want you to die."
"Really?" You chucked, voice uncharacteristically high.
"I'm on my way to changing my mind." He sighed sitting down trying to to flush as your arms hugged close to his waist your body shaking with giggles.
He reversed the spell at the first stoplight you reached and then continued his way back to your house, your chest pressed to his back. When you pulled back up to your house it was growing dark out and you were beginning to question your entire existence.
You groaned into Sirius leather jacket and banged your head onto his back.
"Can we not going inside?" You asked hopefully, glancing at the house its windows glowing warmly, the door reminding you of an entrance to hell.
"You got yourself into this one y/n/n, get yourself out." He shrugged before hopping off the motorcycle and snatching the helmet off your head.
"Don't call me y/n/n and I didn't get myself into anything you guys are just all assholes." You spoke harshly.
"How was I possibly an asshole?" Sirius exclaimed.
"Umm how about you hexed me and then forced me back to my house?"
"I was helping you!" He yelled exasperated.
"You were not!" You shot back, "You practically kidnapped me!"
"You're impossible." Sirius scoffed at you before turning on his heel and heading inside.
You scowled angry all over again before turning to face the house you knew you would have to walk into sooner or later.
You paced back and forth for a second before biting your lip and walking slowly up your porch steps. You then slowly opened the door and slipped inside. You were greeted by the sound of laughter and the clatter of silverware.
You poked your head cautiously around the corner to see your family seated for dinner.
Sirius was serving himself some pasta while your mother talked to Lily and James messed with your dad.
You felt your heart clench at how right it looked. The perfect son, the head boy and the quidditch star. The friend who needed help and received it, needing a family and getting one. And of course the perfect daughter. With red hair to match her robes and perfect grades. The head girl who would no doubt have an amazing life after school.
You tried to imagine yourself at the table sitting in the empty seat, your head bent, staring at the food refusing to meet your parents eyes, your green shirt looking odd against the wave of red. The fact was that you didn't belong and never would. So you went upstairs snatched a blanket and a pillow and retreated to your basement.
You plopped onto the couch and released a breath you didn't realize you were holding. You felt your eyes prick with tears as the image of the perfect family upstairs burned in your eyelids and you wanted to scream.
You slammed your hands on to your closed eyelids, enjoying the pressure they provided, keeping tears behind them. Because the truth was as much as you hated your family you wanted nothing more than to be apart of it. You had spent your whole life attempting to get noticed, to simply be acknowledged as half the person they saw James as. But year after year you were left more and more broken. And now your parents fell in love with a girl they had known for only one night. It made you sick. Your hatred for Lily growing into a nightmarish beast.
Your eyes popped open when you heard someone descending the stairs. You turned to see your brother leaning against the railing arms crossed eyebrows furrowed.
"What do you want James?" You scoffed sitting up on your elbows.
"What do I want?" James hissed, "I want to know why my sister is such a selfish prat."
You sat all the way up glaring at your brother, "I'm the selfish one?" You glowered in disbelief.
"Yeah, yeah you are." James spat.
You stood walking to meet your brother, "How in bloody hell was I being selfish?!" You growled.
"How about slamming the door in Lily's face, or I don't know swearing at mom or maybe calling my girlfriend a bitch before running off to fairyland?!"James was yelling now his voice echoing off the small room."Your damned lucky Sirius offered to find you because I'm done with it!"
You shook your head, "Sirius said you sent him to get me. He was lying?" You asked softly, You silently wished him to say that he wanted you back, that he had sent him, that he had wanted you here.
"Of course I didn't!" James shouted "Not everything is about you!"
You felt your heart crumpled. He hadn't wanted you back. Hell, he would have been happier if you had stayed gone. You willed yourself not to cry, so instead you laughed, a crazy demonic sound ripping from your throat and escaping your lips, "Your right James!" You screeched, "Not everything is about me!" Your fire full smile broke into a sneer, "It's all about you."
James looked taken aback for a second guilt flashing momentarily into his dark eyes before being replaced with anger.
"It's all about you. You and your perfect grades and your perfect friends." You could feel tears pricking at your eyes. "You and your quidditch bullshit, and your god damn bright fucking future!" You spat the words like venom from your mouth, "You and your bitchy girlfriend who's going to make the perfect little daughter in law!" You were now yelling your voice feeling raw as tears dripped off your chin.
"Stop calling her a bitch!" James screamed back.
Just then the door opened and Lily, Sirius and your parents came hurling down the stairs.
"What in bloody hell is going on!" Sirus shouted but you ignored him.
"I'm so sorry for calling shit as it is, your girlfriend is a bitch. B-I-T-C-H. BITCH!"  You wailed taking a step forward, you were now looking directly into your brothers eyes, just barley below him, less than a foot away.
You saw his eyes burn, anger filling them, turning their dark brown pigment to black.
And then he did something you would never imagine him to do in his life.
James raised his hand and with one swift movement slapped you clean across the cheek
You heard a series or gasps and yells fall around you, your ears ringing slightly. You could feel where his hand had struck your skin, it was hot and thumping, a dull sting finding its home there.
You slowly turned your head back to meet your brothers eyes which were now wide with surprise and guilt.
You slowly removed the hand that had instinctively risen to your cheek and stared hurt and broken in front of your brother who's mouth had dropped open.
"Y/n, oh my God I didn't-"
"Rot in hell Potter." You spat your voice deep and dark. And with that you sprinted up the stairs.
As you began to move the world resumed and everyone else began to take action as well.
You saw James stumble backwards Lily beginning to go to him but Sirius beating her to it and reaching the boy himself. You then heard him yell something you were too delirious to understand before a thud was heard followed closely by another shriek. You shouldered past your parents as you accented the stairs, the fact that they didn't even spare you a glance stung more than a slap ever could.
For the second time that day you sprinted out onto the street, the crisp air hitting your hot face in a refreshing blow. You stumbled into the night ignoring your bare feet and chilled arms. You had no destination in mind as you sprinted down the sidewalk, you only had a location to get as far as possible from. You wished you had been thinking enough to grab your purse, you could have gone to a bus stop and left to Merlin knows where.
You made it four blocks before one of your feet caught behind your heel and you were flung to the ground by the ever cruel gravity.
Your hands hit the damp cement first followed directly by your chin causing you to bite roughly down on your lip.
You didn't even bother to move debating weather living was even worth it. You could taste the blood in your mouth and feel it seeping from your hands as you lay unmoving under the buzzing streetlamp.
You were pretty sure you would have lay on that sidewalk, your body shaking with sobs, blood slowly filling your mouth until you died if a strong pair of arms hadn't swept you up.
You instinctively buried your head into the familiar musky scent as Sirius pulled you close to him.
"Hey, hey you're okay." He mumbled quietly into your hair, smoothing it clumsily down as he pulled your head into his chest. "You're okay, I've got you."
You sobbed uncontrollably into Sirius as he mumbled sweet nothings into your ear and held you close to him.
"I-im sorry." You choked out eventually,  pulling away from the boy slightly.
"What on earth are you sorry for love?" Sirius chuckled softly pushing the damp hair from your face.
"I think I got your jacket wet." You muttered a soft smile darting onto your lips.
Sirius let out a soft laugh, "You are ridiculous." His smile disappeared when he saw your lip.
"I'm okay." You muttered wiping the blood from you lips with a wince.
"No your not." Sirius sighed quietly.
He watched your face deflate and he realized that was probably the first time that someone hadn't let you lie to them. Hadn't let you hide behind the thick walls you had built. He called your bluff and it was unfamiliar and strange to you.
"Why did you lie?" You asked quietly.
"About what?" The boy questioned, confused.
"James didn't send you. He told me."
Sirius flushed before shaking his head he definitely needed to change the subject, "James is an idiot."
"He's your friend." You shrugged.
"Yeah well I don't know if that's true anymore."
You knotted your eyebrows, "Why's that?"
Sirius sighed "I knocked him out."
Your mouth dropped.
"If it was anyone else that hit you I would have killed them on the spot." He murmured.
You smiled slightly torn at the idea of your brother getting knocked out by his best friend.
Sirius decided that you needed something desperately, the same thing he had needed when he left home.
"Let's get you a drink."
Your eyes rose to meet his a bit uncertain, before you nodded, "Please."
Sirius smiled as he pulled you to his motorcycle, lazily tucking the helmet onto your head and buckling it for you, his face dancing red at the proximity of your soft pink lips.
You walked into the bar Sirius at your arm. The two of you sat on the stools and Sirius used a bit of magic to order your drinks.
He handed you a shot of vodka setting one in front of himself.
You glanced down at the small glass then back up at Sirius before shrugging and raising swiftly to your lips.
Sirius did the same laughing brightly when he saw your face scrunched in discomfort.
"That was disgusting!" You coughed, laughing a bit, "Get me another one!"
Sirius burst into laughter once again ordering you both another round, "This is the last one though, I don't want to have to take you home drunk." He said eyebrows raised.
You smiled back, downing the second shot a bit more easily than the last, enjoying the warmth that twirled down your throat to your stomach.
Sirius and you left, you a bit tipsy, him seemingly sober.
"Let's get you home." He muttered smiling about at your beaten and battered form.
Suddenly you broke free of him and stumbled backwards, catching yourself on the side of the building.
"I don't want to go home." You pouted.
"Sorry Y/n we have got to go back." Sirius sighed.
"I'M NOT GOING BACK!" You yelled harshly, anger flowing through you.
"Y/n/n come on it's not that bad, let's head back." Sirius sighed sympathetically.
"I know your parents were shit Sirius, but at least they were terrible people!" You yelled.
Sirius rose both eyebrows, "What?"
"Your parents were terrible people right?" You slurred a bit.
Sirius nodded.
"And they hated you because you weren't like them, you weren't s-somebody who would kill a-and hurt, so they hated you for being different. For being a good person." You rambled tears slowly falling from your cheeks.
"Y/n/n we seriously need to get you home." Sirius grumbled worriedly.
"You're not listening to me!" You screeched taking a step back.
Sirius stood unsure of what to do.
"My parents hate me for the same reason, because I'm different and I'm not like them." Your voice breaking mid sentence stabbing Sirius in the chest.
"And because they are 'good people' and they are nice and kind and heros being different than them means I'm a terrible person." Tears now rolled coolly down your check leaving silver streaks in their wake.
Sirius' face crumbled, "No, no, no. Y/n your not a terrible person, your a great person." He gushed rushing forward to capture you in his embrace.
"Then why do they hate me?" You asked voice small and weak.
"They don't hate you y/n. They love you." He mumbled softly one hand wrapping around your waist while the other gripped your head softly pulling you into him.
You shook your head slowly afraid if you spoke anymore that your eyes would flood with tears once again.
"Hey." Sirius murmured, causing your big y/e/c eyes to look up at him. "They love you, James loves you"
You looked away from his stormy grey eyes tired of hearing lies.
"Hey." He repeated bring your attention back to the storms resting behind his head. "I love you."
His whisper resonated through the chilled air, like the final note of an orchestra, the strings still not unmoving. You stared at him in wonder. Then your stood on your toes and grabbed the back of his neck slowly pulling him toward you.
Your lips connected in a sweet, salty kiss. The taste of blood and alcohol lingering between you. You felt his slightly chapped lips moved smoothly against yours making your heart flutter as your hand played with his dark locks, his own finding your waist and pulling you towards him.
You pulled away softly gasping lightly for air as your noses brushed lightly. Sirius' own heavy breaths tickling your face as your foreheads leaned together.
"I-I t-think I love you too Sirius." You fumbled lightly with your words.
He simply responded by reconnecting your lips in a desperate kiss, savoring the metallic taste of blood mixed with the sharpness of alcohol. You tasted like a sin, his tongue dancing across your lips before they opened allowing it to slip inside.
When you finally pulled away for the second time. You looked into his glassy storm filled eyes brushing his cheek gently with your thumb.
"I need you." You whispered quietly into the night. And for the first time in a long time you felt loved.
