Do you have any recommendations for a beginner trying to learn evolution

CrashCourse Zoology and Biology are good places to start. After that, Coursera and other MOOCs might be able to scratch the itch. A series of textbooks could also help, starting general biology and steadily working towards textbooks about evolution specifically.

I learned a lot about evolution as a kid by listening to Stephen Jay Gould essays on audio cassette, even without fully understanding what I was listening to. The key is exposure, and, if you want to go further than the basics, reinforcing what you hear with proper teaching/academic learning.

I feel a deep sense of anger and grief for Palestine. I’m angry at God, at the world powers donating to those who are killing civilians, angry at people looking away and encouraging you to worry about yourself when people can’t even walk down their streets without being attacked. I’m angry that my friend donated, only for it to be stolen and taken by the soldiers abusing Palestine. I’m angry that I can’t do much of anything but tell you to at least CARE about the people being bombed and slaughtered. Please, if you can’t do anything please just CARE about these people and listen to their stories. Hold them in your hearts at the very least. Don’t pretend they don’t exist or just brush it off as “its been going on for centuries, there’s no point in stopping it.” I want to do more, I want to make people care and love those who need it, rather than continue spreading anger and hate.

Like I know its likely because of Stan's joke with the skeleton when he does the first tour and how the last person who came 'didnt make it out alive' that he calls the mystery shack originally the murder hut, but also at the same time... Stan has no idea what is happening to Ford after going through the portal. Ford very possibly could be dead. So him calling the place the murder hut is... horrifyingly accurate because there's a good possibility that he essentially murdered Ford in the house's basement and he definitely knows that.

Also... the actual last person who came into the house was Stan, and he ends up taking Ford's name and faking his death; Stanley Pines is dead, and as far as Stan knows, Ford may be as well.
