It's my first time making a round challah!
I think it looks kind of like the cat toys I used to get for my cat, but making this got me in the holiday spirit. It's definitely not pretty, but I've always been a function over aesthetics kind of guy, and in my excuse... This is the first time I've woven and braided a dough (learn how this one was braided here! It's at minute three!).
I'm honestly glad for 5784 to be over... I've got so many things I should do to make 5785 better, and I wish that everyone making new year's resolutions have a smooth journey in achieving them all🩵
May we be inscribed in the book of life and receive blessings, and bless g-d for sustaining us to this moment

the first video nanami ever posted was filmed on a shaky phone propped up against a bag of flour.
he was making bread—simple, easy, the kind of thing he found comfort in after long days at work. his hands moved methodically, kneading the dough with a quiet precision, and though he spoke very little, the video was oddly calming.
he hadn't expected much from it. maybe a few views, maybe a couple of people who’d appreciate the lack of unnecessary chatter. but the comments were overwhelmingly positive, people asking about his technique, his recipe, his voice—deep, smooth, effortlessly steady. so he made another video. then another.
it was the late-night upload of him singing "baby one more time" by the marías that changed everything.
filmed on an old macbook with a grainy webcam, the lighting barely enough to make out his face, the video had been an impulse decision—one he almost deleted. it was just him, sitting on his couch, his voice low and hushed, the way he usually sang to lull yuuji to sleep. but the internet clung to it like ivy, twisting and reaching until the video had over a million views by the end of the week.
"who is he." "why is this the most intimate thing i've ever heard in my life." "he looks exhausted and sounds like a dream, i'm in love."
he thought it would pass. but it didn't.
his subscribers doubled overnight. the demand for more was loud, insistent. nanami, being nanami, didn’t rush to meet it. instead, he structured it into his routine: one video a week, a mix of baking and singing—because baking was reliable, and singing had never been something he shared outside of yuuji’s bedtime.
his channel evolved. the baking videos became polished, edited with subtle precision. he switched to voiceovers, explaining each step in that same low, deliberate tone that made people feel like he was speaking just to them. and when he sang, it was always songs that carried a quiet sort of nostalgia.
"he only sings songs he sings to his kid to sleep i’m crying." "his lullabies are better than half the music industry." "i don’t know his name, his age, or his face properly, but i know his banana bread recipe by heart."
nanami never explicitly talked about being a single dad, but it was impossible to miss. yuuji’s voice sometimes made cameos in the background, muffled questions about homework, laughter when nanami burnt the edges of a cake. he didn’t hide it, didn’t play it up. it was just a part of his life, and his audience adored him for it.
his faq video—one of the few times he ever directly addressed personal questions—answered almost nothing.
"are you married?" "no." "how old are you?" "old enough." "what's your name?" "nanami."
the mystery only made people more obsessed.
"i know nothing about him but i’d die for him." "his hands. his voice. his existence." "the fact that he bakes and sings for his kid and still won’t tell us his age is crazy."
he now posted twice a week. one video was always baking, the other was whatever he wanted—sometimes music, sometimes a quiet q&a, sometimes just a video of him making tea while rain hit the windows.
people knew everything and nothing about him at the same time. they knew the exact ratio of brown sugar he preferred in cookies but not what city he lived in. they knew he tucked yuuji in every night with a song but had never seen his full face in a single frame. they knew the precise cadence of his voice when he said “and that’s how you make the perfect loaf” but had never heard him say “i love you”—and yet, somehow, they felt like they had.
the internet had fallen in love with him. and nanami, quietly, without even trying, had changed his life with nothing but flour-dusted hands and the sound of his own voice.

neighbor!reader x simon 'ghost' riley pt 6
masterlist
The morning after you had shared a bottle of wine with your mysterious neighbor, Simon, you woke up to a new bottle of wine and your wine glasses, washed, from the night before on your welcome mat. You had expected the glasses, since you had forgotten them at his place after all, but not the wine.
Not that you were going to complain about that.
Wine nights with your neighbor, Simon, didn't become a regular thing. You weren't sure he had any regular things. His schedule was completely irregular, he was in and out at odd times, never following any sort of pattern.
Not that you were paying attention or anything.
You had a day off in the middle of the week, for some reason, and you decided to fill the day with baking, because why not? The weather was getting colder, the days seemed to get shorter, and you just needed something to lift your spirits.
It was just past eleven in the morning. Your Bluetooth speaker was playing absently in the background as you baked. You had already finished a few batches of cookies, making extras of the ones you knew were Simon’s favorites-
Not that you paid attention. Literally. At all.
It wasn’t until you were on your second loaf of chocolate chip bread that you finally looked up, for some reason, and there it was. The biggest spider you had ever seen in your life, right on the ceiling above your oven.
And you let out a scream.
Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley heard that scream.
He immediately knew it was you, and that it had come from your apartment. If his mask hadn’t already been on from when he had run his morning errands, he probably would have forgone it entirely in his haste to get to you, to the source of your cries.
However, he didn’t expect the reason for your scream to be a spider on the ceiling.
“Can’t reach it from down there?” He almost sounded amused.
You jumped when you heard his gruff voice behind you. “Simon-! How did you get in-?”
“You left the door unlocked. Again. You need to stop doing that,” he chastised you before brushing you aside to get a better look at the beast on the ceiling. “Huh. That’s what made you scream?”
“Maybe…”
“It’s just a spider, love. It won’t hurt you.”
“I don’t like spiders,” you grumbled as you watched him grab the spider with his bare hands without even having to grab a step-stool, get on his tip-toes, or anything. His muscles seemed to bulge through the simple black t-shirt he was wearing with the movement. You couldn’t help but stare, although you tried not to look like you were gawking.
Damn.
“Clearly,” he hummed. “Are you baking again?”
That brought you back to reality, at least a bit more than you were. “Oh-! Yeah, I am,” you replied. You thought about making a joke about how you weren’t baking again, you were baking still, but you decided it wasn’t funny enough of a joke to try out on your neighbor. “Was it the smell that gave it away?”
“That, and the flour on your apron,” he replied gruffly, though you could almost hear a chuckle in there somewhere.
You could feel your cheeks heat up a bit, but you couldn’t tell why. Of course you had flour on you- you were baking, after all. Why were you blushing that he pointed it out?
“What have you been baking this time?” he asked you, still holding the spider in his bare hand. His gaze had shifted to the multitude of baking racks around your kitchen and on your dining room table, mostly filled with cooling baked goods. Cookies, dessert bread, muffins-
“Oh, just a little bit of everything,” you answer absently. “Anything that looks good to you?”
Now, Ghost had a decision here. He could go with the safe choice- picking a dessert that you had made, and you would likely let him have some, if not all of it. That was almost a guarantee, in his mind.
But he could also go with the wild card choice. He could say something that looked good to him that wasn’t something that you had baked that morning. But that was the more risky option. It could go one way or another, and quickly at that.
“Are those snickerdoodles…?”
He went with the safe choice. For now.

Stop please 🙏🙏🚨🚨
Tumblr media
This flour, which is supposed to be a source of life, has become a symbol of disappointment. I contemplated the scene with a pang in my chest; the scene was not new, but it grew more cruel each time. How can we make clean bread for our children from flour filled with insects?
Gaza is not only a besieged land, but it is a place where hope is killed day after day, even in the most basic human rights. We were waiting for this flour impatiently as if it were a precious treasure, but it came to remind us that everything in our lives is now conditional on new suffering.
I looked at the flour again, and imagined the children in Gaza, who dream of a hot loaf of bread on their poor tables. A simple loaf that they do not know that the path to it is fraught with pain and disappointment.
I wrote these words to tell you the story of flour, but it is not just flour; it is part of the story of Gaza, the story of every mother who struggles, every child who waits, and every young man who dreams of a better tomorrow in a land that refuses to surrender despite everything.
I am Abdel Qader, writing from Gaza, from the heart of the suffering that is trying to steal our dignity, but we stay here, dreaming, and resisting.

Kiss the chef
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[warnings]: chef! Abby, unserious, suggestive mentions, headcannons, wc 1k , part 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chef! Abby’s! first viral video was around a year ago. A simple clip of her making cacio e pepe. The video was beautifully shot, a warm coloring complementing the glossy dish. but what really got everyone’s attention?
The way her forearms tensed while she cracked fresh pepper. Veins showing themselves along her freckled skin. Comments often reading:
@ “ok but how do i get the pasta to look this good?”
@ “i have something to say but i want to go to college”
@ “ma’am, i’m trying to focus but your ARMS?????😣”
@ “looks SO good💕..and the food i guess”
Chef Abby! had always loved cooking, growing up in a kitchen with her dad, who ran The Cordova, one of downtown Washington’s finest restaurants. But she liked the no pressure vibe of TikTok—just her and her food. She decided she wouldn’t show her face much, if at all. Letting the small flex of her muscles when she kneaded dough into a floured surface be the main visual. While comments? They were only half focused on what she was making.
Naturally, her account gained traction. No face, no voice—just hands, muscles, and literal food porn. Every video felt like a Sunday afternoon in a kitchen. @buffandbasil, now sat at 2.5 million followers.
Chef Abby! tried to ignore the thirst in her comments. How could she? It was honestly a small ego boost, even if it was a bit over the top at times. Like the second pinned video on the top of her page—where all she was doing was making bread.
@ : “knead ME like that.”
@ : “both lips are smiling rn”
@: “need her to bake something in me, respectfully😇“
@: “we need to chill in the comments… *saves video*”
Chef Abby! wasn’t a huge fan of putting her face in her videos. However, the occasional face slip would happen. A quick shot of her golden hair in view or a reflection in a clean pan.
The third and final pinned video? The one sitting at a few million views and a comment section that out-ratioed it?
Her hair draped over a fitted black Henley shirt, the top button undone. Sleeves rolled up to her elbows. And when she reached up for something overhead in a cabinet? A small sliver of her torso—those abs?
Yeah. They lost it.
@ “niagara falls just relocated”
@ “MY CLOTHES, WHERE’D THEY GO!!?!”
@ “her strap drags, for sure. touches the floor.”
@^ “mind you, i would take it.😊”
@ ^^ “y’all are TOO freaked out 💀”
And trust—Chef Abby! loved it. Really. Laying in bed, straight cackling on FaceTime with her best friend Manny, sending him screenshots or full-blown screen sharing. She didn’t reply. Not really. But she absolutely posted a few videos after. No shirt, just her “Kiss the Chef” apron and vibes.
And the one time she did reply?
@: “Do you do weddings?”
@buffandbasil :“Yes, actually.”
Harmless, right? Simple. Straightforward. She had catered weddings before. Large events, alongside her father, but—
@: “As… the bride?”
She saw it exactly three minutes after posting her reply. And in those three minutes, her comment had already tripled in likes. The replies? A war zone.
@ “ANSWER THE QUESTION!”
@ “HELLO???????”
@ “bro air balled.”
@ “ok so u free next saturday or???”
She paid it no mind. Mostly. But sometimes, a few profiles caught her attention. She was human, after all. Chef Abby! had seen your likes. You didn’t know it yet.
For you? It was originally just another cringe or brain rot video being sent by your roommate, Dina. But when you clicked the video of @buffandbasil all laughter halted. Typing back—
You: “Dee, hear me out..😭”
Dina: “Oh my god. OH MY GOD. Lost the plot.”
Chef Abby! considered reciprocating the engagement but saw how many views you usually received on GRWMs and storytimes and decided on a more… exciting approach. Wanting to see if you’d bite.
No aesthetic instrumentals—this time, a voiceover. Her voice, soft, steady Tutorial style.
“So today, we’re making sourdough from scratch. You wanna make sure your starter is active, and then we’re gonna knead it—”
@: “OH SHE TALKS???”
@: “it’s all over the screen ngl 🌊”
@: “asmr videos when?”
@: “great now i have a crush on a faceless chef, thanks.”
@: “I’m ovulating rn please chill 💔💔”
But the only comment she was looking for? Yours.
@ you: “Me next🫦!”
You typed it. And went to bed. She had so many comments—she probably wouldn’t even see it.
But as the sun poured through your curtains the next morning, your stomach flipped. A notification.
Followed by @buffandbasil. 2 hours ago.
Legs swinging the blankets off, then you were sprinting down the hall, launching yourself onto Dina’s bed like a feral animal let loose.
She groaned, blindly swatting at you. “Dude, what the—”
Without another word, you shoved your phone in her face. Dina squinted, blinked a few times, then—loud, cackling.
“Dee. This isn’t a ‘hear me out’ anymore—this is a hold me back.” You said, falling next to her dramatically, smiling.
Dina wheezed, shaking her head. “Nah. You are in the sunken place now, sister.”

Hii I'm asking you this because I've seen you post about Finnish grammar and stuff before. So I'm learning Finnish, and I also use duolingo because like free practice and duolingo keeps giving me this word but they refuse to translate it. Please I need to know what pulla means because in my native language it means dick and the duolingo characters keep asking for this mysterious pulla item with coffee and until I find out all my brain can hear is "i want coffee and dick please"
Tumblr media
It's a type of finnish pastry, traditionally offered to visiting guest with coffee. A type of sweet bread roll made from wheat flour and flavoured with cardamom, generally with nib sugar sprinkled on top, as pictured above. They look and sound very simple, but they're surprisingly hard to make. Much like in baking bread, you've got to get the temperatures just right for the dough to rise, because yeast will die out of pure spite rather than let you succeed.
One particular reason why they're so iconic and beloved in Finland is because they take skill to bake and also don't keep well. They're delicious when they're fresh from the oven, but in 48 hours that delicious steaming roll is a solid dry rock that you could use as a makeshift hammer and tastes like crumbs and sadness. So in order to have them fresh, someone has to have baked them specifically for you, or at least the same morning.
You probably would have been satisfied with just the first sentence of this post for explanation, but I got started running my mouth and I'm having fun so I'm going to go on.
Pulla is one of those distinct cultural things that one grows up with that is so mundane and commonplace where you've grown up that it surprises you to hear that it's not universal. In finnish the term for a stereotypical idealised maternal domestic goddess housewife is "pullantuoksuinen kotiäiti" - literally "stay-at-home mother that smells like pulla". I've heard the expression used both as genuinely praising and snidely dismissive way to describe a woman who wants to be a mother and homemaker instead of having a career, but that's how much of a deal pulla is to finnish culture.
You can describe a person as "pulla-scented", and everyone can immediately picture what kind of a person this is. Someone who is a skilled enough homemaker to make good pulla, whose home is warm and welcoming because it smells like freshly baked pulla, which she has baked for you because she loves you.
I have plenty of things I was planning to do today and writing an essay about pulla was not one of them.

Discipline (Blue-collar Bucky #2)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Female Reader
Warnings: 18+ only. Smut. Unprotected Sex. Brat-taming (Bucky). Edging/Orgasm Denial. Power Play. Overstimulation. Spanking. A sprinkle of Degradation. Nipple play. Dub-con Elements (induced paralysis).
Summary: Bucky made the rules, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t break them. And when he does, she’s more than ready to make him pay for it.
Word Count: 5.7k.
note: I just had to do this. Out of all my versions of Bucky, this is the only one who deserved it -so far-.
Also, I know it's unlikely that a simple taser could paralyze him, but come on, play along.
Tumblr media
Bucky never planned on coming back after that first time.
It was supposed to be a one-time thing, a simple, unspoken exchange that neither of them would dwell on. He’d walked into the bakery to pick up the crew’s lunch, and by the time he walked out, his hands weren’t the only things covered in flour. He figured that was it. A lapse in judgment. A moment of weakness.
And yet, here he was. Again.
The scent of fresh bread and warm sugar wrapped around him as soon as he stepped inside. The bell above the door chimed, and he saw her glance up from behind the counter. He didn’t miss the way her lips parted slightly when she recognized him, how her breath hitched in that barely perceptible way that made his cock twitch. She recovered quickly, though, offering him a polite, almost indifferent smile, like she wasn’t squeezing her thighs together under that frilly apron, like she hadn’t begged him to fuck her in the back room not even a week ago.
He smirked.
He sauntered toward the counter, tossing his gloves onto the surface with a lazy flick of his wrist. His vibranium fingers tapped against the display case absently as he pretended to glance over the pastries. "You know," he drawled, tilting his head, "I think I'm developing a sweet tooth."
She raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Is that so?"
"Mm." He nodded, dragging his tongue across the inside of his cheek. "Keep finding myself coming back here. Weird, huh?"
She snorted, shaking her head as she reached beneath the counter for the already-prepared order for the workers. "Yeah, real weird. Almost like you have a job that sends you here regularly."
He liked this little game they played, this dance where she pretended his presence didn’t affect her, and he pretended he wasn’t counting down the hours until he saw her again.
"Convenient, isn’t it?" He leaned against the counter, letting his gaze flick over her slowly, deliberately. "Guess I’ll just have to keep coming back."
She rolled her eyes, setting the bag of sandwiches in front of him with a little more force than necessary. "Try not to strain yourself."
He chuckled, reaching for the bag but making no immediate move to leave. Instead, he let his fingers graze hers in a way that wasn’t exactly an accident. She tensed, just for a second, but it was enough for him to notice. He could see it in the way her pupils dilated, in the way her chest rose ever so slightly as she inhaled.
Yeah. She wasn’t as unaffected as she wanted him to think.
Good.
He stepped back, slow and measured, still smirking as he adjusted the bag in his grip. "See you around, muffin."
And just like that, he was gone.
----
The visits kept happening.
Sure, the foreman had asked him to handle the lunch pickups a few more times, but even when he didn’t, Bucky found reasons to stop by. Maybe he needed a drink. Maybe he was suddenly interested in croissants. Maybe he was just bored.
The excuse didn’t matter. The outcome was the same.
He’d show up, she’d pretend not to notice him lingering too long, and by the end of the day, he’d have her pressed against a wall somewhere, muffling her breathy moans against his lips.
Not that he was thinking about it too hard.
It was casual. No expectations, no obligations. She got off, he got off, and they both moved on. Just as he told her, the only thing he can offer her at the moment.
So why the fuck was he in front of the community center, squinting at a stupid flyer about free baking classes?
He stood there for a long moment with his arms crossed, his jaw ticking as he stared at the neatly printed words. "Learn to bake! Free classes every Tuesday & Thursday evening! No experience necessary."
Bucky exhaled slowly through his nose, shaking his head at himself. This was stupid. And yet…
The class was across the street from the bakery. It wasn’t that much of a stretch to sign up. He’d learn something, sure. Might be useful. But more importantly, he’d get to spend more time with her. And -if he was being honest- he wasn’t entirely thrilled about the idea of some random asshole getting too comfortable around her in a class full of strangers.
He knew how men were.
And he was the only one allowed to make her squirm.
Bucky smirked, turning toward the entrance with a sense of purpose. This was going to be fun.
----
He had expected her to be even a little flustered when she saw him walk into the class on that first day. Maybe she’d stumble over her words, maybe her eyes would widen in surprise, or -if he was lucky- she’d pull him aside and demand to know what the hell he was doing there.
But she didn’t.
She looked right at him, blinked once, and simply said, “Find a seat, we’re about to start.”
That was it. No reaction. No acknowledgment of their situation. Just... professionalism.
He hated it.
Not that he wanted special treatment. But it irked him that she could turn it off so easily like she didn’t spend countless nights milking his cock, moaning his name like a prayer. It was almost insulting.
So, naturally, he made it his mission to get under her skin.
It started small. Little things.
When she instructed them to knead their dough for ten minutes, he’d lean back against the counter after five and smirk. “Pretty sure my hands are strong enough. You wanna check?” just loud enough for the class to hear, just enough to make a few people chuckle.
If she ignored him, he escalated.
In the second class, when she passed by his station to inspect his work, he pressed the pipping bag in a very suggestive way and smeared some frosting on his hands. Then, he licked a slow, deliberate stripe of buttercream from his knuckle, watching her reaction closely.
She didn’t waver. Didn’t blush. Didn’t react at all.
And that pissed him off.
By the lack of reaction, he knew she was holding back. And if she was holding back, that meant she cared. At least a little.
Which meant he had to push.
By the third class, the students were catching on to his antics. A few laughed along with him, some just shook their heads, but one particular moment set something off in her.
She demonstrated how to pipe pastry cream onto cupcakes and showed them the proper wrist movement. It should have been a simple, uneventful lesson.
Then he had to open his mouth.
“Real delicate touch there, sweetheart,” he drawled, leaning forward on the counter,  flexing his forearms against the surface. His voice was smooth, too smooth, dripping with mock appreciation. “Bet that comes in handy for other things, huh?” A few students gasped. One let out a choked laugh.
And she?
She froze. Just for a split second.
Bucky saw it, the slight tightening of her grip on the piping bag, the way her lashes fluttered, the flicker of heat behind her composed expression.
But when she turned to him, her face was perfectly calm. And that was when he knew he was in trouble. Because instead of snapping at him, instead of rolling her eyes or brushing him off like she had before, she smiled.
“Oh yeah, it’s actually really, really handy. You’ll see, eventually.”
-----
When the class ended, she just looked at him with a neutral stare. "Barnes, a word? Since you are more than capable, be a dear and help me carry the supplies to the storage room, will you?" he nodded, grabbing almost all the stuff that was already clean into a couple of boxes and followed her toward a dimly lit hallway.
When they reached their destination, the door shut behind them with a soft click, sealing them off from the rest of the world in the storage room. The scent of flour and vanilla lingered in the air, mixing with something heavier: the unspoken tension crackling between them like a live wire.
Bucky dropped the boxes onto the floor with a dull thud, dusting his hands off on his jeans before turning to face her. She was already watching him, arms crossed, chin lifted in that quiet, unreadable way that made his hackles rise.
"What do you think you’re doing in my class, Bucky?"
His smirk was instant, practiced. "Learning."
She scoffed. "Don’t give me that crap. You made it very clear what our thing was: fuck buddies, no strings, no extra credit." Her expression remained impassive, but her words hit sharper than he expected. "So why the hell did you sign up?"
Bucky bristled.
Yeah, fine. Maybe he overstepped. Maybe this was a little more than what they agreed to. But something about her tone, about the way she looked at him like he was some inconvenient disruption instead of the man who had her coming undone in his hands, made his jaw clench.
His smirk turned sharper, edged with something almost mean. "Well, let me remind you. I may not be the perfect student, but at least I’m honest about who I am." He took a step forward, and his voice dropped just enough to make the space between them feel too small. "You, on the other hand, acting all high and mighty just because you’re wearing a teacher’s badge..." His voice carried, echoing in the empty room as he loomed over her.
She narrowed her gaze, pressing her lips into a thin line.
"Oh, don’t worry," she said, voice deceptively sweet. "I’ll teach you a lesson, alright."
Bucky exhaled a quiet laugh, slow and deliberate, before tilting his head down to look at her. "A lesson, huh?" he repeated, his voice thick with mockery. "Sounds like you wanna play principal for a day." He shifted, crossing his arms over his broad chest. "Well, go ahead then. Show me what you’ve got."
She didn’t flinch. Didn’t waver. Which, if he was being honest, kind of turned him on. He could feel it, the twisted little thrill beneath his irritation. A part of him craved this, to have her undivided attention, to see what she thought would be enough to discipline him. It was a fucked-up kind of want, born from the way she brushed him off in front of her students, pretending like he was just another guy instead of the one who made her tremble behind closed doors.
But he’d be damned if he admitted it aloud.
Instead, he held her gaze, waiting. Daring her to make the next move.
He barely had time to process the sigh that left her lips before she spoke. "Just be useful and give me that bucket over there. Unlike you, I still have things to do."
His brow quirked, amused by the audacity of it, but he humored her, rolling his eyes as he turned to grab it. "Yeah, yeah, princess. Don’t get your apron in a twist."
And then was when she did it.
Years of perfect training, years of being Hydra’s fist, a ghost on the battlefield, an apex predator in human skin… and yet he didn’t see it coming.
The zap of electricity hit him hard, sharp and unforgiving against the side of his neck. His entire body locked up instantly, and his nerves short-circuited as every muscle seized at once. His breath caught in his throat, his vision blurred at the edges, and before he could do anything, before he could even curse her name, he felt himself falling.
But she didn’t just let him collapse, no. She guided him down. Lowered him carefully. Like he was something fragile, something that mattered.
It was almost insulting.
His chest hit the floor first, then his head followed, resting against the side of his arm, his vibranium fingers twitching as they struggled to respond. He wasn’t unconscious, far from it. For the first time in a long time, Bucky Barnes was vulnerable.
And she? She simply stood up, walked toward the door, and locked it. The click of the deadbolt sent a slow, crawling shiver down his spine.
Well, shit. Maybe he should have taken this class more seriously.
Bucky let out a strained growl, and his breath was uneven as he fought against the lingering paralysis in his limbs. "You backstabbing vixen," he bit out, roughly but undeniably amused beneath the indignation. "Using a fucking taser on me?"
Despite his predicament, despite the absolute betrayal of being taken down so effortlessly, his eyes still flicked to her legs as she moved. He also took in the way her skirt hugged her curves, the sway of her hips as she stalked toward him. Even flat on his stomach, and his nerves still tingling from the electric bite, he was Bucky Barnes. Cocky, stubborn, and utterly incorrigible.
That arrogance barely had time to settle in before she reached for something on the nearby shelf. A ruler.
Not one of those flimsy plastic ones. No, this was an old, thick wooden ruler, the kind meant for use on chalkboards. Or as he will discover, putting cocky super-soldiers in their place. His brow furrowed slightly as she turned back and closed the space between them, ruler in hand, with an unreadable expression.
Then, without hesitation, she hooked her fingers into the waistband of his jeans and yanked them down -underwear included- leaving his pert, pale ass bare to the cool air of the storage room.
Bucky’s spine stiffened.
“What the fuck-?!” His face contorted in a mixture of outrage and mortification as his body betrayed him, heat prickling beneath his skin as the reality of his situation dawned. He tried to move, to push himself up, but the taser’s aftershocks still hummed through his system, leaving his muscles sluggish and uncooperative. The best he could do was shift slightly, but even that only served to expose himself further.
Then she spoke.
"You'll learn today, Sarge,” she mused, tapping the ruler lightly against his bare skin as a warning. “That you might be the fearsome Winter Soldier out there on the streets…” The ruler pressed against the curve of his ass, not hitting, just…resting. Teasing. “But I’m not afraid of the needy man who came in his pants not too long ago after just a little grinding."
Bucky froze.
Heat flared in his chest, creeping up his neck, and across his cheeks. She did not just say that. His mind flashed back to the bakery’s back room one afternoon, to the way she had ridden his clothed cock with desperate little whimpers, to the sticky, shameful mess he had left behind, the evidence of just how easily she had undone him.
His fingers twitched against the floor. His face burned.
“Y-you…” His voice faltered, but before he could string together something -anything- to claw back his dignity, she pressed the flat side of the ruler firmly against his skin. The sensation sent a jolt through his gut, and his stomach coiled tight with something unnameable. Humiliation? Frustration? Anticipation?
He didn’t have time to figure it out. Because then-
Smack!
A sharp, biting pain bloomed across his sensitive flesh.
He gritted his teeth hard enough to make his jaw ache, curling his hands into fists as he swallowed the instinctive whimper threatening to escape his lips.
“You don’t get to talk if I don’t talk to you first.”
Smack!
“I won’t tolerate this bratty attitude inside these walls, won’t have you jeopardizing my job just because you can’t control your mouth.”
Smack!
"You think you’re so rough, huh?" She leaned in slightly, voice dropping to something syrupy sweet, something dangerous. "Newsflash, Sergeant: you're just a bratty, horny little thing who needs to be put in his place."
Smack! Smack! Smack!
Each sharp crack of the ruler on his ass sent a fresh sting through his body, each strike perfectly placed, each one burning a little hotter than the last.
His thighs tensed, his hips shifted, as if his own damn body was reaching for it, arching into it despite himself. His cock twitched against the hard wooden floor, and fuck, that was a problem.
His breath hitched, the telltale prickle of unshed tears burning at the corners of his eyes, not from pain, not really, but from how fucking overwhelmed he felt.
He didn’t know whether to curse her or beg for more.
And judging by the way she was watching him, ruler poised for another strike,
She knew it.
“Muffin, p-please…” Bucky choked out between sharp, stinging smacks, his voice raw with something he couldn’t name, something that tasted too much like desperation.
The floor beneath him was merciless, rough wood pressing into his chest, his hardened, pierced nipples rubbing harshly through the fabric of his shirt. Every jolt of sensation, every sharp crack of the ruler against his skin, fed into the unbearable pressure coiling low in his stomach. Shame and arousal twisted together like an inseparable duo. And fuck, his cock was aching, straining, leaking, trapped between his trembling body and the cold, unyielding ground.
She tutted, watching him squirm beneath her. “Since you used the magic word -please- I’ll humor you,” she cooed.
Her icy fingers, smoothed over his scorched skin, caressing the very spots she had punished. Bucky’s breath hitched. The contrast between the sting of the ruler and the gentle chill of her touch was almost unbearable, a heady mix of pain and comfort that made his thighs twitch. His body, traitorous and weak, leaned into her hand, silently begging for more.
“Are you going to behave around me?” she asked, in a sweet, knowing tone.
His throat worked around the lump forming there, as the humiliation and need kept dancing inside him. His instincts screamed at him to fight back, to reclaim his dominance, to snarl something cocky, hurtful, something that would undo the growing control she had over him.
But instead-
“…Yes, Muffin,” he whispered. It was barely a breath, barely more than a surrender. “I’ll behave. I promise.” The words felt foreign, bitter on his tongue, but they left his mouth without hesitation. And the worst part? He meant them.
Because the desire to please her, to earn her approval, to make her touch him again, was overwhelming. His cock throbbed against the wooden floor, shamefully wetting it with pre-cum.
She must have noticed, because she reached down, wrapping her fingers around his aching length with a grip that was mocking and possessive.
“What’s this?” she mused, giving his hard, neglected cock a deliberate squeeze.
Bucky’s entire body jerked at her touch, a choked, pathetic moan escaping his throat as his hips bucked helplessly into her hand.
“Are you turned on because I put your bratty ass in its place, hmm?”
His cheeks burned at the realization.
Yes. He fucking was.
The evidence was right there, dripping onto the floor for her to see.
She clicked her tongue, shaking her head in mock disapproval. “Look at the mess you’re making.” She stroked him slowly, deliberately, gripping just firm enough to keep him on edge. “I think I’ll have to teach you a lesson about taking care of the establishment’s property, Sarge.”
His still-paralyzed body betrayed him, his head thrashed side to side in a futile attempt to regain control. But she was in charge now. And she was going to prove it.
“You defied my authority in front of the class today,” she murmured, tightening her grip for emphasis. “You can fuck me stupid in whatever situationship bubble we have, but I’m going to make sure that what has been transpiring in my classroom won’t happen again” Before he could process what she meant, she moved, flipping him onto his back with just enough force to remind him of how little power he had at this moment.
He sucked in a sharp breath, as she studied him—watched the way he twitched under her gaze, helpless and humiliated. Then, with calculated ease, she reached up, pulled the elastic band from her perfectly pinned bun, and-
Tied it at the base of his cock.
Bucky’s lungs stalled, a strangled whimper tore from his throat as the tight constriction bit into his swollen flesh, cutting off the blood flow.
Fuck.
His cock pulsed violently in protest, the restriction making his entire body thrash, but she didn’t stop there. No. She lowered herself, grazing her lips through the tip of his deep red, neglected length, and kissed it. A high, desperate sound tore from Bucky’s throat before he could stop it, and his hips jerked upwards as if begging for more.
She licked slowly, teasingly, flicking her tongue along his leaking slit, gathering his shameful arousal before pulling back just enough to watch him fall apart beneath her.
“F-fuck, Muffin-“ His voice cracked, and his muscles coiled tight as the heat surged through his body, building his orgasm. But then-
Nothing.
His release, -so close, so inevitable, so fucking unbearable- never came.
His eyes shot open, and his breath ragged as the realization hit him. She was denying him, trapping him on the edge and refusing to let him fall.
She tilted her head, with mock sympathy. “What is it, Sarge?” she asked, feigning innocence. “Does the bratty little soldier need to cum?”
Bucky’s throat bobbed, his eyes wide as he struggled to form words. But before he could beg, before he could even think of it, she pressed her lips on his throbbing cockhead once more and purred. “Well… you won’t get to.”
His entire body convulsed, and his mouth fell open in a silent scream as the her words penetrated his brain.
She leaned in. “If you had paid attention in class, you’d know that it’s physically impossible until I remove the tourniquet from the piping bag.” She explained with amusement while swirling her tongue around his leaking tip.
Bucky’s eyes rolled back, and his muscles tensed violently as his cock twitched uselessly against the unrelenting knot, pulsing with the orgasm that would never come. His body shook, his skin flushed, and his desperation got humiliatingly obvious.
He whimpered, something raw and desperate spilling from his throat as his cock throbbed violently, aching under the unrelenting pressure of the tight band still restricting him. Every pulse was torture, every slick twitch a reminder of just how thoroughly trapped he was in the pleasure she refused to give him.
“I-I’ll behave, Muffin,” he pleaded, the words tumbling out before he could stop them. “Fuck, I’ll drop the classes if that’s what you want, just, please…”
The admission burned him, but he’d lost any sense of shame earlier, at the moment his cock started dripping all over the floor. He needed her to touch him, to finish this, to let him fall apart, and he didn’t care what it took.
But she?
She simply tilted her head, unmoved, watching him like he was some fascinating little puzzle she was still piecing together.
“I’m not convinced,” she mused, softly. “After all, you’re the fearsome Winter Soldier, and I? Just a simple baker.” She let the words linger, let them sink deep into his buzzing, over-sensitive mind, before shifting her focus -completely ignoring his tortured cock- and zeroing in on his chest.
Bucky barely had time to process before she moved, sliding the fabric of his shirt up, up, up, exposing the broad plane of his scarred torso, the dark ink of his tattoos, and-
The silver bars piercing through his already-hardened nipples.
He twitched violently at the first brush of cool air, and his breath stuttered, clenching his hands into fists against the floor.
She smiled. “I have to make a point, you know.”
Then, with agonizing precision, she dragged her fingers over one of the piercings, then letting her nails scrape just barely against the sensitive flesh.
Bucky’s entire body jerked.
“F-fuck!” The strangled cry tore from his throat, hips buckling helplessly into nothing as his cock twitched pathetically, still bound, still denied. His nipples had always been sensitive, but this, this was too much.
And she knew it.
She leaned in closer, ghosting her warm breath over his exposed chest, watching the way he trembled beneath her.
“Poor thing,” she cooed, toying with the pierced nub, rolling it between her thumb and forefinger before giving it a sharp little tug.
Bucky shouted, the noise wrecked, broken, and fuck, fuck, fuck- his cock ached so badly he could barely think. His hips lifted uselessly, but she kept her focus above, kept him on the razor’s edge of something devastatingly unsatisfying.
Then, without warning, she lowered her head and took one into her mouth. He choked on air, arching his back sharply as her hot tongue laved over the hardened bud before sucking, teasing, biting just enough to make his thighs tremble.
Every little movement sent sharp, electric pleasure bolting straight to his cock, a cock that was still trapped, still denied, still leaking helplessly onto his lower belly.
“F-fuck, Muffin-” he gasped, in a high and wrecked tone, as his chest heaved beneath her mouth when she moved to the other nipple, repeating the same exquisite torture.
His thighs shook again, his muscles locked, and his cock twitched violently… but his orgasm remained agonizingly out of reach.
She stared at his wet, tender nipples, the silver bars glistening under the dim light, and hummed in satisfaction. Then without a word she moved, straddling him, settling her weight over his hips, pressing herself down against his aching, trapped cock.
Bucky’s vision blurred at the sudden slick, teasing friction of her pussy dragging along his length, sending a jolt of pure, blinding ecstasy through his still-paralyzed body. His hips bucked involuntarily, chasing more, chasing anything, seeking relief that he already knew she wouldn’t give him.
“Ahhhn… just, please,” he moaned, voice thick with need, desperation, surrender. Then, through the haze of pleasure, something darker surfaced. His teeth clenched, “If you know what’s good for you-”
She cut him off immediately.
“Poor, defenseless Sergeant,” she mocked, in a tone drenched with sickeningly sweet amusement as she slammed herself down onto his cock, impaling herself fully in one smooth motion.
Bucky’s head snapped back, and a hoarse scream tore from his throat as her slick heat swallowed him whole, gripping him like a vice.
“See,” she continued, settling herself above him, grinding her hips to fully seat herself on his fat cock, “you don’t get to threaten me, Sarge.”
She began to ride him mercilessly, bouncing with wild abandon, taking exactly what she wanted from him.
“This is a valuable lesson,” she panted, rolling her hips as her fingers dug into his tense, flexing abdomen for leverage. “I’m going to discipline you so every time you think about disrespecting me in front of other people…” Her nails scraped down his stomach, and her pussy clenched tighter around him as she rode him harder. “…you’ll start leaking like a fucking faucet.”
Bucky’s back arched violently, his body betraying him completely as each ruthless downward thrust drove him closer, closer, closer-
“F-fuck, Doll!” he howled, his voice raw, wrecked, echoing off the walls. “Y-you’re killing me here!”
Each intense, wet slide of her inner walls around him had him spiraling, hovering right at the edge of relief, his entire body coiled so tightly he thought he might snap apart. The sight before him, her breasts bouncing despite being confined by her bra, her moans and panting filling the room, the sheer fucking confidence in the way she rode him like she owned him…
It was too much.
A pathetic, broken sound left his lips as she used him, took him, denied him.
“Shut it.” Her voice was sharp, cutting through his haze of pleasure. “I gave you tons of opportunities, and you kept pushing further and further.” She leaned forward, pressing her chest against his, and her breath came hot and heavy against his ear. “This is what you get for being horrible to me.”
Bucky whimpered, and his hips trembled beneath her, as his cock twitched violently inside her tight heat.
“I won’t take the hair tie off your cock,” she whispered, brushing her lips  against his sweat-damp skin, “you won’t get to cum.”
His eyes flew open, and his breath stuttered.
“Me, on the other hand?”
Her fingers slipped between them, finding her swollen, needy clit, and she moaned loudly, circling it in quick, precise strokes as she chased her own release. “I’m gonna cream all over your fat, bratty cock.”
Bucky’s whimpers of pleasure morphed into anguished wails as she rode him mercilessly, grinding down harder, clamping around him tighter with every roll of her hips.
“P-please,” he gasped, his voice breaking with desperation. His cock was throbbing, pulsing, aching, each squeeze of her pussy only made the pressure worse, worse, worse-
“I can’t- I’m going to- Ahh, FUCK!”
But nothing happened.
His body wanted to cum, needed to release the unbearable tension, but the hair tie held firm in place, trapping him in a state of endless, excruciating denial.
She, on the other hand…
Her rhythm stuttered, and her movements turned erratic as her moans grew desperate, and her brows knitted together tightly as she neared her climax. “So big, so fat, Sarge,” she mewled, trembling as she rode her orgasm out over him, soaking him with her slick.
Each pulse of her pussy sent pain-pleasure waves radiating through his cock, threatening to tear him apart. Bucky was shaking, thrashing, begging-
“Fuck!” he gasped, his voice wrecked beyond recognition. “Stop, I can’t-”
Despite his pleas, he couldn’t deny the way her praise sent a twisted thrill through him. It fueled his ego, his need to please her, even as his body screamed for release.
And finally, after what felt like an eternity, she lifted herself, sliding off his cock with a wet, slick sound. His chest heaved with ragged breaths, and his entire body trembled as he stared up at her. His eyes were glassy, his nipples red and swollen, and his shaft almost painfully engorged.
She looked him over critically, tapping her finger against her lips as if thinking.
Then, without warning… she spat.
A slow, deliberate string of saliva landed on the tip of his cock, glistening, mixing with his pre-cum, adding more slick to his aching, desperate length.
His gaze snapped down, staring at the wetness on his cock, with his pulse hammering. She smirked.
Then, kneeling beside him, she wrapped her fingers around his twitching, neglected cock and started jerking him off. “Do you wanna cum?” she asked, mockingly sweet.
Bucky’s breath hitched, and his hips bucked wildly into her grasp.
He nodded quickly, so quickly.
“T-thank you, Muffin,” he whispered with gratitude and lingering lust. “I promise, I’ll be good for you.” Even as the words left his mouth, he knew they were hollow. Deep down, he knew he’d push her again. Provoke her again. And oh, when he’ll regain control of his body…
She tightened her grip, stroking him harder, faster.
“Beg for it.”
Bucky snapped.
“Please, Muffin, please let me cum!” he whined, pleaded, and sobbed. “I need it so fucking badly! I can’t take it anymore! I’ll do anything- please, PLEASE let me finish!” his body shuddered violently as he begged.
She hummed, pleased.
“Alright,” she murmured. “Since you begged so pretty.” She pulled the hair tie free. “Cum for me, Sarge.”
And the instant the band snapped free, the dam burst.
Bucky’s cock erupted, thick ropes of hot cum splattered across her hand, his stomach, and pooled messily onto the floor beneath him. His back arched violently, and every nerve in his body was ignited as an earth-shattering orgasm tore through his entire body.
A guttural roar ripped from his throat, his hips jerked wildly, and his cock twitched and pulsed nonstop as if making up for every second of denial.
“Ah, ah, ah- YES!” he howled, as his vision blurred at the edges, the intensity of his orgasm consumed. “FUCK, IT FEELS SO GOOD!”
His body convulsed, the aftershocks hitting hard, every lingering stroke of her fingers making his overstimulated cock twitch helplessly in her grasp. He had never felt so wrecked, so drained, so utterly destroyed, and yet…
He was already thinking about the next time.
She held him just a little longer, letting his final weak spurts dribble down his spent shaft before finally, slowly, releasing him.
And then -without a single word of praise or sympathy- she wiped her cum-coated hand on his shirt.
Bucky barely had the energy to glare, but his jaw clenched, his cheeks burned, and a fresh pang of humiliation mixed with the post-orgasmic bliss.
Her eyes flicked over his wrecked form. “I estimate the taser’s effect will wear off in about half an hour,” she said matter-of-factly, brushing invisible dust off her skirt as if she hadn’t just broken him into pieces. “So,” she continued, leaning down just enough to press a single teasing peck to his damp forehead, “you have plenty of time to reflect on your behavior.”
With that, she straightened, adjusting her skirt back into place, retrieving the wooden ruler from where she had left it, and placing it neatly back on the shelf. Then, without looking back, she turned on her heel and strode toward the door.
She just…left.
Bucky watched her go, helpless, spent, ruined, still lying in a pool of his own cum on the floor.
His breath was uneven, his body still tingled, and for a moment, all he could do was stare at the ceiling, floating in the limbo between debauched satisfaction and simmering frustration. But as the post-orgasmic haze began to clear, as the sting of humiliation faded beneath something darker, sharper, his thoughts slowly began to shift.
Her parting words echoed in his mind.
The taser’s effects will wear off soon.
And when they did?
Payback’s a bitch, Muffin. And she wouldn’t see it coming.

ꜱɪʀ, ʏᴏᴜ'ʀᴇ ᴛᴏᴏ ꜰɪɴᴇ | ʙᴏ ᴄʜᴏᴡ x ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ
Tumblr media
Set in 1932 Reader x Bo Chow (Smut | NSFW | 18+ | Kissing | Light Choking —barely | F!Receiving) ᴡᴄ : 4ᴋ
The bell over the door gave a tired little jingle when you pushed it open, stepping in from the heat and dust of the street — 𝓑𝓸 𝓒𝓱𝓸𝔀 & 𝓒𝓸 𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐓𝐀 ɢʀᴏᴄᴇʀʏ & ᴍᴀʀᴋᴇʀ Your shoes were worn thin. Your dress was simple cotton, sticking to the back of your knees.
And you were tired — bone-tired — from chasing one dead-end job after another across this godforsaken town.
You needed work. Or a miracle. Or both.
The store smelled like tobacco and dry wood, with a hint of something sweeter — maybe the candy in the jar by the counter, or the bright bruised apples piled up in baskets.
Shelves lined the walls, packed with everything from flour sacks to pistol rounds. It was the kind of place where a man could buy a loaf of bread, a hammer, and a coffin without walking more than twenty feet.
You adjusted your bag on your shoulder, wiping sweat from your forehead, trying not to look as desperate as you felt. It was quiet inside, but not empty.
There, behind the counter, sleeves rolled up over strong forearms, stood a man.
And Lord Almighty. You almost forgot how to breathe.
He was fine — broad through the shoulders, lean through the waist — and the worn suspenders crossing his chest did nothing to hide it. Dark hair, a little mussed like he'd run his fingers through it a hundred times that morning already. Sharp jaw. Sleeves pushed up. And a cigarette dangling careless between his lips.
He watched you over the top of the ledger he was scribbling in, one eyebrow tilting up slow, like he wasn't quite sure if you were real or a heat mirage rolling in off the road.
"You lost, darlin'?" His voice was rough, low. Not unfriendly. But not soft, either.
You swallowed. Your cheeks burned hotter than the sun outside.
"No, sir," you managed, clearing your throat. "I'm lookin' for work."
He tilted his head a little. The cigarette bobbed between his fingers as he tapped ash into a tin. There was a long, heavy pause, stretching thin between you like taffy pulled too far.
He leaned forward, arms braced on the counter, and you caught the faint scar along the side of his throat — a rough, pale line disappearing beneath his shirt. He smelled like leather and smoke and maybe something wilder, something you couldn’t name.
"Ain't much work left 'round here," he said finally. "Dust's got more jobs than we do."
Your heart sank. You started to thank him anyway — ready to turn, ready to leave with your pride shriveled up tight inside you —
But then he said, almost too casual:
"You know how to tally numbers? Take stock? Keep folks from stealin' when I ain't lookin'?"
You blinked up at him. Nodded fast.
"Yes sir. I can read, write, count. And I can run a register." (You prayed you didn’t sound as breathless as you felt.)
Bo Chow smiled then — real slow, real lazy. Like maybe he hadn't smiled all day until now. Maybe longer.
And damn if it didn’t feel like that smile was just for you.
"Might have somethin' for you after all," he said, nodding toward the back room. "Mornings, couple hours. Pay ain't much, but it's clean work. And you get first pick if any more fruit comes in."
You tried to smile back, tried not to look like a fool.
"I'd be grateful," you said. "Truly."
"Name's Bo Chow," he said, holding out a calloused hand across the counter. "Most folks just call me Bo."
You put your hand in his, and he squeezed it firm — just enough to make your stomach flip once, twice. His skin was warm. Rough in the right way.
Your name felt small and clumsy on your tongue when you said it. He repeated it once under his breath — tasting it — like he was putting it away somewhere safe.
You heard boots scuffing behind you — a couple old-timers coming in, hats low over their faces — and Bo dropped your hand slow, like he hated letting go.
"Be here six sharp tomorrow," he said, voice dropping a little lower. "Don't make me come hunt you down."
And Lord, the way he said it — like it was a promise, like it was a threat, like maybe he wouldn't mind hunting you down at all —
You walked out of that store with your heart rattling around in your ribs, a stupid grin tugging at your mouth. The dust hit your boots. The sun hit your eyes. But you hardly felt it.
All you could think about was him. About Bo Chow, the cigarette smoke curling around his smile. About how, maybe you'd finally found something worth staying for.
The next morning, you showed up just before six — hair pinned back, boots polished best you could manage, apron folded under your arm.
The sun wasn’t even fully up yet, just a pale silver smear over the flat line of the fields.
The streets were empty except for a stray dog.
You hesitated at the door, heart hammering. What if he changed his mind? What if he realized you weren’t worth the trouble?
But the second you pushed inside, the warm smell of tobacco and cedar wrapped around you like an old blanket — and there he was.
Bo Chow.
Behind the counter, sleeves rolled again over those damn forearms, shirt tucked messy into dark trousers, suspenders hanging low on his hips like he hadn’t bothered to fix them yet. He was counting cash, cigarette stuck lazy between his teeth, the smoke curling up in slow silver ribbons.
He glanced up when he heard the door — and you swear, you swear, for a half second he smiled. A real one. That soft kind, just at the corner of his mouth. Just for you.
"You're early," he said, voice rough with sleep. "Good."
You nodded, setting your things down behind the counter.
Your hands shook a little, but you kept busy — dusting, sweeping, checking the register like he told you. He didn’t hover. Just gave quiet instructions here and there, moving around the store slow and easy, like he had all the time in the world.
And it was the little things — God, it was the little things — that drove you crazy.
You noticed it first when he leaned down to pull a crate from under the counter — how his shirt stretched tight over his back, fabric whispering against muscle. How a lock of dark hair fell over his brow and he huffed it out of the way without even noticing.
You caught yourself staring. Snapped your head down fast, pretending to reorganize the fruits and vegetables.
Then it was the way he stood — shoulders wide, hips cocked lazy — arms crossed over his chest as he watched you figure out how to load the till.
There was something about the way he moved — no wasted steps, no fidgeting — like he didn’t have to try to own the space around him. He just did.
And Lord, when he laughed —
Low, unexpected — a real rough chuckle that rumbled from his chest when you nearly dropped the glass candy jar and caught it at the last second — God, you felt it down to your toes.
"Careful, sunshine," he drawled. "Ain't but one of you, and glass is expensive."
You ducked your head, face burning. But you couldn’t help smiling.
Around mid-morning, after he nailed up a new shelf in the back, Bo wiped the sweat from his brow with the back of his hand. You offered him the water you packed — nervous, feeling silly. He took it with a little nod, mouth brushing the rim where yours had been without hesitation.
And when he handed it back — his fingers brushed yours. Calloused. Warm.
You felt it like a jolt of lightning, sharp and sweet under your skin.
"You doin' alright?" he asked, voice low. "Ain't scarin' you off yet?"
You shook your head fast.
"No, sir."
That slow smile again — like he was proud of you, somehow. It made your chest ache.
The rest of the day passed in slow, golden hours. He showed you how to track inventory, how to read the order forms, how to spot the difference between good grain sacks and ones chewed through by mice.
And every little thing — the way he squinted against the sun when he stepped outside, the way he twirled the pencil between his fingers when he thought, the way he touched the brim of his hat polite to the older ladies who passed by — every little thing made you fall harder.
You were a fool. You knew it. But God help you, you couldn’t stop.
Near closing time, when the shadows stretched long across the floorboards, Bo lit the oil lamps and turned the sign to CLOSED.
The town settled into quiet outside, the cicadas starting up their low hum.
You packed up your things, heart heavy. You didn’t want to leave.
He leaned back against the counter, cigarette smoke curling around his head like a halo, watching you with that unreadable look. Not smiling. Not frowning. Just watching.
And before you left — just as you reached the door — he said:
"You did good today."
You turned, surprised.
He flicked ash into a tin, voice casual, almost too casual:
"Could use someone steady around here. Someone like you." "If you want it — job’s yours."
You tried to speak — tried to say yes, of course, yes, thank you, yes — but all that came out was a breathless little whisper.
"I'd like that."
Bo nodded slow, eyes never leaving yours.
"Good," he said. "Real good."
You just huffed and left the store.
You showed up early again the next morning. Couldn’t help yourself. You barely slept — just laid in your bed all night staring at the ceiling, heart banging around your ribs like a fist.
You kept seeing him — that rough smile, that lazy slouch against the counter, the way his hands moved — big and calloused and sure — like he could tear the whole damn world down if he wanted, but he didn’t. He was gentle with you.
You dressed careful — simple skirt, neat tucked-in blouse, hair tied back. Nothing fancy. But you caught yourself smoothing it down a dozen times on the walk to the store.
You weren’t scared of work. You weren’t scared of Bo, either. Not really.
What scared you — if you were honest — was how badly you wanted him to look at you again the way he had yesterday. Like he saw you.
The bell over the door jingled when you pushed inside — and there he was.
Bo Chow.
Good Lord.
You almost had to grab the doorframe to keep from sliding down it.
Today he had the vest on — rich brown canvas, snug over his shoulders and chest — shirt rolled at the sleeves again, forearms out, tan skin dusted with faint scars like old stories he never bothered to tell. Trousers fit firm around his slutty waist, boots scuffed from work.
He looked up from stocking the shelves — and when he saw you, a flash of something warm crossed his face. Almost hidden. Almost.
"Mornin’, sunshine," he said, voice low and gravelly. "Thought you might show."
You swallowed hard, managed a nod.
He stood up slow, dusting his hands off on a rag. That damn vest hugged him in all the right places. Made your stomach flip and knot in ways that felt dangerous.
You got to work without being told, moving behind the counter, checking the inventory list. Trying to pretend like your heart wasn’t about to explode out your chest.
It didn’t help that Bo kept brushing close — not on purpose, not really — but every time you turned around he was there.
At one point, you bent to grab a crate from under the counter — and when you stood up, you bumped right into him.
Hard, solid chest — vest scratchy and warm against your back — his hand catching your waist automatically to steady you.
Big palm. Firm grip. Fingers splaying wide before he yanked them back like he touched a hot stove.
You both froze.
For one wild second, the whole store was silent — just the sound of the clock ticking on the wall — his breath brushing the back of your neck.
Then he cleared his throat, stepping back.
"Easy, now," he said rough, almost scolding. "Ain't tryna bust that pretty nose, are ya?"
You flushed so hot you thought you might catch fire. Mumbled something — you didn’t even know what — and ducked your head fast.
Later, you were coming out of the storage closet — arms full of ledgers — right as Bo was striding in.
Instead of waiting — instead of shrinking back — you moved right past him. Real smooth. Real bold.
Except — the space was too damn narrow.
Your hip brushed his thigh — your shoulder scraped his chest — and your ass — oh, Lord — your ass skimmed right up against his front when you slid by.
You felt him go still — felt his hand twitch at his side like he had to physically stop himself from grabbing you. You didn’t dare look up.
You just kept moving, pretending you didn’t notice, pretending your whole body wasn’t screaming at you.
Behind you — you swore you heard him swear low under his breath. Real soft. Real dangerous.
You bit your lip so hard it hurt just to keep from smiling.
By noon, the air inside the store was thick and heavy with heat. Bo shed the vest finally, slinging it over a hook near the door. You caught a glimpse of the way his shirt clung to him — the long line of his back, the strong slope of his shoulders.
You caught yourself staring again — caught yourself wanting — and forced yourself to look away.
But Bo must’ve noticed, because a minute later he drifted close — reached past you for something on the shelf — his hand landing light on your waist to move you out the way.
He didn’t even think about it. Just did it. Like you were his already.
Your breath hitched so fast you nearly dropped the jar in your hands.
"‘Scuse me, sunshine’," he said, real soft in your ear. "You’re in the way."
You stood there dumb, blinking, as he brushed past — close enough to smell the salt and sun and cigarette smoke on him.
It wasn’t until later — after closing — when you were wiping down the counters and Bo was locking the door — that he spoke again.
"You work good," he said, voice low and thick. "Real good. Smarter than most the men that come through here."
You turned, heart hammering.
Bo was leaning back against the door — arms crossed — watching you. Face unreadable. Eyes dark.
You opened your mouth — to thank him, maybe — but he cut you off.
"How old are you, anyway?"
You stiffened.
You knew what he was asking. Knew why he was asking it.
You met his eyes steady, chin tilting up just a little.
"Turned eighteen last month," you said. "I'm grown, sir."
For a second — just a breath — something flickered across his face. Something hungry and dangerous and real.
Then it was gone, shuttered behind that calm mask he wore like a second skin.
He nodded once. Slow. Like he was making peace with something ugly inside himself.
"Alright, sunshine," he said rough. "Long as you know what you’re doin’."
You smiled — small and sweet and secret — because you did. You really, really did.
And Lord help you — you weren't planning on stopping.
The day dragged in slow — hot and heavy, same as always — but you didn’t mind.
Not when you got to watch him.
Bo moved like he wasn’t even trying. Stacking crates, counting stock, slouching against counters — and all you could do was sneak glances every chance you got.
The way his sleeves were pushed up to his elbows — showing off strong forearms, tan and scarred, veins running beneath the skin like little rivers. The way the muscles flexed under the fabric when he lifted something heavy.
His hands — God, his hands.
Big and rough, palms calloused from years of work. Knuckles scarred like he’d been in more fights than he’d ever admit.
You imagined what they’d feel like — skimming your skin, wrapping around your throat, curling in your hair.
It got harder and harder to focus on anything else.
You were wiping down the counter again — pretending to clean when you were really just looking at him — when you realized:
No customers.
None.
Just you and Bo. Alone. Heat swirling between you like smoke.
Your heart kicked up — wild, reckless.
And before you could talk yourself out of it — before you could remember to be scared or shy or good —
You moved.
Not too fast — a normal shaky pace.
You crossed the space between you in a few quick steps — grabbed his hand — and tugged him toward the back.
He let you.
No questions. No hesitation. Just a soft grunt, a half-smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth as he followed.
"What’s this, sunshine?" His voice was rough, curious, amused. "You stealin' me?"
You didn’t answer. You just pulled him through the narrow back door — into the storeroom, dim and warm and empty — and shoved him back against the wall.
You stood there, breathing hard. Heart hammering so loud you swore he could hear it.
Bo looked down at you — those dark eyes burning — and for a second you thought maybe he’d laugh, maybe he’d brush you off, maybe he’d tell you to run along like the little girl you weren’t anymore.
But he didn’t.
He tipped his chin down — lips brushing yours — and said low:
"You sure, sunshine?"
You nodded. Didn’t trust your voice.
That was all he needed.
He kissed you like he’d been waiting for it. Hard. Hungry. Hands grabbing your hips, dragging you against him.
Your head spun. The world tilted.
His mouth was hot and rough, teeth scraping your lower lip just enough to make you whimper — and God, the sound you made must’ve lit him on fire because he growled low in his chest and kissed you harder.
You clutched at him — hands fisting in his shirt, dragging him closer — and he let you, let you crawl all over him, like he was starving for it.
Like he’d die if you stopped.
At one point, you stumbled — tried to pull back to catch your breath — but he chased you, mouth claiming yours again, hands framing your face so careful, so tender even with how rough the kiss was.
You were dizzy with it — with him — with the feel of his body pressed against yours, all hard heat and steady muscle.
And then —
You did it.
Hands shaking, you grabbed his wrist — guided it up — placed his big, rough hand around your throat.
Gently. Like a question.
Like a please.
Bo froze.
For one hot, crackling second — everything in the room stopped moving.
His thumb brushed the side of your throat — slow, thoughtful. Not squeezing, just holding — just letting you feel the strength there, the weight of him.
He pulled back just enough to look you dead in the eye — something dangerous and filthy gleaming behind his gaze.
And he grinned — slow, wicked — all teeth and bad intentions.
"You into that shit, sunshine?" His voice was dark velvet, wrapping around you, making you shiver.
You nodded — breathless — grinding your hips against him like you couldn’t help it. (You couldn’t.)
His fingers flexed slightly, tightening just a fraction — not enough to hurt, just enough to remind you who was bigger, stronger, in charge.
You whimpered — so soft, so needy — and he laughed, low and rough, like you were the best damn thing he’d ever seen.
"Goddamn," he muttered, voice rough and reverent. "You’re gonna be the fuckin’ death of me."
Then he kissed you again — deeper, dirtier — hand still cradling your throat, the other roaming down your spine to pull you flush against him.
You melted into him — opened for him — let him take whatever he wanted.
Bo’s hand stayed loose around your throat a moment longer — thumb brushing the edge of your jaw, his breath ragged against your mouth — before he finally let go.
Not because he wanted to stop touching you — no. Because he wanted more.
He gave you a rough, breathless little grin — one you could feel in your knees — then reached down and grabbed you by the waist like you weighed nothing.
Lifted you right up.
Set you down on the nearest wooden stool — still warm from the heat of the barn outside, a little unsteady, but solid enough.
Your hands grabbed the edge of the stool instinctively — steadying yourself — eyes wide, heart pounding so hard you could barely hear.
Bo leaned back a half-step — just enough to drink you in.
The way your dress rode up, baring the soft skin of your thighs. The way you sat there all breathless, pupils blown wide, lips kiss-swollen and desperate for him.
He dragged a hand down his face — as if trying to keep himself together — and then just said low, almost to himself:
"Christ, you're pretty."
You didn’t even realize you were doing it — but your eyes kept dropping.
To his hands. Those big, rough, dangerous hands — scarred and calloused and strong.
You could feel the strength of them from here. Could imagine them wrapped around your hips, your waist, your throat — holding you down, holding you up, whatever he damn well pleased.
Your mouth went dry.
And Bo noticed.
His mouth curled into a wicked, knowing smirk.
"Yeah?" he rasped, voice dropping. "You like the look of my hands, sunshine?"
You swallowed hard — nodded.
You didn't even try to hide it.
And that was all he needed.
Bo stepped between your knees — crowding you close, body heat washing over you like a furnace — and ducked his head down.
Started kissing along your jaw — slow, wet, open-mouthed kisses trailing lower and lower.
You gasped when he found the spot just under your ear — sucked there hard enough to leave a mark — and he grinned against your skin when you tilted your head for him, helpless and wanting.
"Good girl," he muttered into your neck. "Gimme that pretty throat."
You could’ve melted right then and there.
His hands were everywhere — roaming up your sides, thumbs brushing the undersides of your breasts, dragging along the soft curves of your waist like he was memorizing you.
You arched into him — not even trying to play coy anymore.
You wanted him.
All of him.
And Bo — he was starving for you.
Before you could blink, he dropped to his knees.
Big, broad body sinking down in front of you — pressing your knees wider apart with those strong hands, pulling your panties down — looking up at you with something almost feral in his eyes.
"Gotta taste you, baby," he rasped, voice half-broken with need. "Been fuckin' dying for it."
You whimpered — hand flying to his hair instinctively — fisting in the thick dark strands as he shoved your dress up higher, higher, exposing you.
No hesitation.
Bo dove in like a man half out of his mind.
The first press of his mouth against you made you cry out — sharp and sweet — hips bucking up without you meaning to.
Bo groaned — like it was the best thing he'd ever tasted — and grabbed your thighs, holding you down, forcing you to stay right there for him.
His mouth was ravenous — lips and tongue working you open, devouring you like you were his last meal.
Messy. Loud. Absolutely, devastatingly good.
You tried to pull away once — overwhelmed, shaking, breath hitching in your throat — but he groaned and pulled you back down harder.
"Nah, baby." "You take it." "You let me eat this pretty little pussy just like this." "You fuckin’ taste how bad I want you."
You sobbed his name — it was pathetic, really. Hips grinding helplessly against his mouth — and Bo just groaned again, deeper, like he could come from this alone.
The wet slide of his tongue. The scrape of his teeth just barely grazing. The way he sucked your clit into his mouth and held it there until you were shaking.
He licked you like he owned you. Like he wasn’t gonna let you walk outta this storeroom until you knew exactly who you belonged to.
And when you finally came — loud and desperate, thighs clamping around his head — Bo just kept going.
Didn’t stop. Didn’t let up.
Made you ride it out — every shudder, every whimper, every sweet little broken cry.
When you finally slumped forward, boneless and ruined, hands still fisting in his hair —
Bo looked up at you — mouth slick with you, eyes dark and wild — and said, low and rough:
"Ain’t done with you yet, sunshine." "Not even close."
And you believed him.
You wanted him.
God help you — you wanted everything Bo Chow was about to give you.

A recipe for love
Tumblr media
Joaquin Torres x girlfriend!reader
Summary: Joaquin and his girlfriend try to cook together, but flirty distractions and a flour fight turn it into a messy, laughter-filled disaster.
Word count: 1505
Notes: no Captain America: Brave New World spoilers :)
~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~
Joaquin Torres was many things—Air Force lieutenant, newly minted Falcon, and all-around lovable goofball. But a chef? Not so much.
That’s why, when he suggested cooking dinner together, you were both excited and slightly terrified.
“I feel like I should warn you,” you said, leaning against the kitchen counter as he rolled up his sleeves. “I don’t know if I trust you near a stove.”
Joaquin gasped dramatically. “Wow. No faith in me at all?”
You smirked. “Not when I remember the time you almost set a microwave on fire.”
“That was one time! And in my defense, I didn’t know you couldn’t microwave aluminum foil.”
You shook your head, laughing. “This is exactly why I’m supervising.”
He grinned, stepping closer. “Oh, so I’m just the pretty assistant?”
You reached up, booping his nose. “Exactly.”
~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~
The plan was simple—pasta with homemade sauce. Foolproof, right?
You set Joaquin on chopping duty while you prepped the stove. He was doing fine at first, humming to himself, but then you noticed something concerning.
“Joaquin… why are you holding the knife like that?”
He paused mid-chop. “Like what?”
“Like you’re about to fight it.”
He looked down at his grip. “This is how I hold my combat knife.”
You gaped at him. “You are not in a mission, babe. This is a tomato, not an enemy.”
Joaquin chuckled, adjusting his grip. “Noted.”
Shaking your head, you moved behind him, placing your hands over his. “Here. Hold it like this.”
Joaquin stilled, the warmth of your body pressing against his back. “You just wanted an excuse to get close to me.”
You rolled your eyes. “Yes, because this is totally a romantic moment—teaching my boyfriend how not to murder vegetables.”
He turned his head slightly, smirking. “You say that, but I know you’re loving this.”
You ignored the way your stomach flipped. “Just focus on chopping, Torres.”
~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~
Once the veggies were prepped, you moved on to making the sauce. Everything was going smoothly—until Joaquin decided to be a menace.
You were stirring the pot when you felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist.
“Joaquin,” you warned, though you didn’t actually mind.
“Mmm,” he hummed, resting his chin on your shoulder. “You smell good.”
“You’re distracting me.”
“That’s the point.” His lips brushed your neck, making you shiver.
You tried to fight the smile tugging at your lips. “If you don’t let me cook, we’ll starve.”
“I could live off kisses,” he murmured.
You finally turned to face him, narrowing your eyes playfully. “Cheesy.”
He grinned. “You love it.”
You poked his chest. “I do. But if you want to eat tonight, you need to behave.”
Joaquin sighed dramatically. “Fine. But I expect extra kisses as payment.”
Laughing, you turned back to the stove. “Deal.”
~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~
The sauce was simmering, the pasta was boiling, and everything was on track. Until—
“Hey, babe?” Joaquin called.
You turned just in time to see flour explode into the air, covering both of you.
Joaquin froze, wide-eyed, a bag of flour clutched in his hands. “Uh… oops?”
You stared at him, then at the mess, then back at him. “What. Did. You. Do?”
“I was measuring the flour for the garlic bread, and… well… I sneezed.”
You blinked. Then, unable to stop yourself, you burst into laughter.
Joaquin relaxed, grinning. “At least one of us finds this funny.”
You grabbed a handful of flour from the counter and playfully smacked it against his chest. “Now we match.”
Joaquin gasped. “Oh, it’s on.”
Before you could escape, he swiped his hand across the flour-covered counter and smeared it over your cheek.
“Joaquin!” you shrieked, swatting at him.
He laughed, dodging. “You started it!”
Within seconds, the kitchen turned into chaos—flour flying, laughter echoing, and both of you covered head to toe in white powder.
Eventually, you collapsed against the counter, breathless. “Okay, truce.”
Joaquin, also breathless, nodded. “Truce. But I think we ruined dinner.”
You surveyed the mess. “Yeah… but honestly? This was way more fun.”
He reached for your hand, intertwining your fingers. “Wanna order takeout?”
You grinned. “Only if you feed me.”
Joaquin smirked, pulling you close. “Oh, I’ll feed you, alright.”
And with that, he kissed you, soft and slow, as the flour-covered kitchen faded away.

Domestic Life with the Nanamis
Tumblr media
Kento Nanami x Black plus size reader
Tumblr media
Nanami never imagined his life would look like this, coming home to the rich scent of homemade meals, laughter echoing through the house, and the sight of you, his beautiful wife, moving effortlessly through the kitchen with your boho braids tied up in a silk scarf, balancing your youngest on your hip while stirring a pot of something delicious. You make everything from scratch, from the fresh bread cooling on the counter to the perfectly packed bento you send him to work with every morning complete with neatly sliced fruit and a little handwritten note that always makes him smirk at his desk. (Nara Smith who??). His colleagues are jealous, often commenting on how lucky he is. “Nanami, who even has time to cook like this every day?” But he simply adjusts his tie, pride swelling in his chest as he replies, “My wife made it.” They wouldn’t understand the depth of care you put into every meal, how food is your love language, how every dish you prepare is a quiet but powerful “I love you.”
You and Nanami have three kids together, two boys and a baby girl, all of them with his sharp features and your deep, melanin-rich skin. The house is a lively place, filled with tiny feet pattering across wooden floors, kids giggling as they help you knead dough or sneak tastes of cookie batter while Nanami watches with a fond expression. Your eldest has taken after you, standing on a little stool by the counter, carefully measuring flour as he watches your every move, determined to perfect the craft of cooking like his mama. The middle child is more like Nanami, quiet but observant, always sitting close, stealing tastes of the food before it’s done, giving a little nod of approval like his father. And your baby girl? She’s always in your arms, a tiny hand clutching the fabric of your dress, wide-eyed and curious as she watches her family around her.
Even after long days at work, Nanami never complains when his children ambush him at the door, clinging to his legs and demanding his attention. He picks them up easily, one in each arm, as if they weigh nothing to him, pressing kisses to their foreheads before heading straight to the kitchen, where he knows you’ll be. He finds you stirring a pot of soup, your body swaying slightly to the soft jazz playing in the background, a picture of warmth and home. His eyes are drawn like they always are to the curves of your body, the plush swell of your backside shifting under the fabric of your dress, the softness of your tummy peeking out slightly as you reach for something on the shelf. His gaze lingers, admiration hidden behind his usual composed expression. He loves every inch of you, every stretch mark that maps your skin like constellations, the way your thighs press together when you stand, the fullness of your chest that rises and falls with every deep breath. In the mornings, before the kids wake up, he takes his time tracing those stretch marks with the tips of his fingers, pressing slow, reverent kisses to them as you stir awake. “So beautiful,” he murmurs against your skin, his voice thick with sleep and adoration.
Meals are never rushed in your home, you make sure of it. Breakfast is always something special, whether it’s fresh fruit bowls and chia pudding or buttery homemade biscuits with honey, and even when Nanami insists he’s in a hurry, he sits down because you made it just for him. The kids sit beside him, chattering about their dreams from the night before as they eat, and he listens, soaking in these simple yet precious moments. And on the rare mornings when you forget to eat, too busy making sure everyone else is fed, he notices immediately, his sharp eyes narrowing as he sets a plate in front of you with a firm but gentle, “You’re always feeding us, but who’s feeding you?” The gesture is small, but it makes your heart swell because Nanami isn’t a man of grand declarations, but he loves deeply, in the quietest, most thoughtful ways.
Date nights are spent at home more often than not, not because you don’t love going out, but because nothing feels quite as special as cooking together in the warmth of your own kitchen. The kids are asleep, the house is finally quiet, and it’s just the two of you. You stand by the stove, stirring a rich, slow-cooked sauce, while Nanami leans against the counter, watching with admiration as he sips a glass of wine. “You make everything look so effortless,” he murmurs, stepping closer, his hands settling on your hips. You laugh, nudging him playfully, but he only tightens his grip, pressing his lips to your temple. His hands trail lower, fingers pressing into the softness of your hips, sliding over the curve of your backside before giving a slow, appreciative squeeze. “I love you,” he breathes against your skin, and it’s in moments like this that you feel it the most—not just in his words, but in the way he touches you, in the way he watches you, in the way he makes you feel adored without ever needing to say much.
You love him through acts of service, the meals you prepare, the warmth you bring into his life, the way you ensure your children grow up in a home filled with love. He loves you through quality time, waking up early just to have coffee with you, helping with dishes, staying up late just to talk when the house is finally quiet. You are his peace, his anchor, the one thing he looks forward to no matter how exhausting his day is. Nanami never expected this life, but with you? He wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Little Seer
Pairing: Sihtric x reader(female) x Finan
Authors note: there was something in the air again 😅 Brainstorming and writing together with the talented and amazing @little-diable is an absolute pleasure. Thank you so much for co-writing this little story with me! 💖💖💖
Warnings: SMUT 18+, a bit of angst, the usual things
Summary: as if being Skade's sister wasn't challenge enough, you are faced with an impossible choice between two warriors, competing over your heart
Word Count: 4,8 K
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You closed your eyes and inhaled the cool, crisp morning air. A fleeting aroma of freshly baked bread wafted toward you, evoking a vivid memory of work-worn hands kneading dough on a high table, so tall that your nose barely reached its surface.
"Go fetch your sister," a soft voice urged, and you giggled as a finger touched your nose, leaving a white flour mark on it.
"Skade, Skade, where are you? Mom is baking bread," you called out cheerfully, your voice ringing through the yard like a bright, joyful stream. Your small feet carried you from one building to the next.
"Shhh, what are you doing? Stop yelling! You just scared all my spirits away," an irritated hiss made you freeze in your tracks as your lively, smiling eyes met two stormy, piercing blue ones. Your face twisted into a mocking grimace as you stuck out your tongue at your sister. Her giggle was soft and sparkling, reminiscent of a tiny bell's chime, as she took your hand and you both skipped joyfully back to the house.
Long before the big wooden gates of Dunholm creaked open to welcome the small traveling party, you had already known she was approaching Dunholm. The runes never lied to you. Bound by the same blood and the same divine gift, your destinies were intricately woven together in a delicate tapestry of love and hate. You knew you couldn’t escape each other and  no matter how hard you tried to defy this fate, you had always failed.
Your palm tightened around the shaft of the Nithstang you had crafted tonight, wet and sticky with the warm blood dripping down your fingers, as you forced your eyes open. Your steps, steady and resolute, carried you to the small paddock across the inner yard, now a makeshift prison.
"Release him!" Your voice, edged with a metallic tone, carried a hint of the anger simmering deep within you. Something stirred in the shadows at the back, and a silhouette began to move closer to the bars. Two familiar, deep pools of dazzling blue met your gaze.
"You know I won't," a challenge danced on the plush lips curved into a smirk. "You should know me better by now, little sis."
"Don't make me use my power against you," you warned, your breath forming small clouds of mist as you spoke, casting a shimmering, translucent veil over your sister's face and giving it a mysterious glow.
"You wouldn't dare," Skade smirked, tilting her head defiantly.
"You leave me no choice," you replied, not with anger but with a surge of resolve. With a loud cry, you swung the Nithstang high into the air, driving it deep into the ground to face the place where your sister was imprisoned.
Your love for her was deeply rooted in every fibre of your being, yet you despised the monster she had become, transformed by power-hungry men who sought to use her for their own ascension. It was this profound care for her, this need to protect her even from herself, that had driven you to carve the ancient runes into the wood under the cover of night. The power of love was stronger than the power of hate, yet your sister, as mighty as she might be, still failed to recognize this simple truth.
Tumblr media
Fear and caution had long been your constant companions, often mingled with respect, but genuine fascination and appeal seldom visited your life. You struggled to suppress your smile as you constantly felt two pairs of eyes almost burning into your back each time when you turned away.
The dark brown eyes exuded warmth, strength, and protectiveness, creating a comforting presence that seemed to envelop you each time you entered the great hall. The peculiar, mismatched eyes sparkled with mischief and curiosity, radiating a sense of possessiveness. They darted around the room, absorbing every detail, as if laying claim to every word you spoke and every move you made.
An Irish-accented voice, rich and booming, reached you near the stream just as you were about to lift the heavy buckets brimming with water. "May I help you?"
"Thank you, that's very kind," you replied with a smile, watching the sturdy, well-built Irishman effortlessly lift your load and nod for you to lead the way.
To break the somewhat awkward silence, you inquired, "How's Lord Uhtred?"
"He's well, thanks to you, lady. On the way here, I had my doubts he'd even make it," the warrior replied, his voice thick with genuine worry and care. The soothing quality of his words made you turn and cast a warm smile back at him while noticing his shoulders straighten and his eyes light up with a friendly glow.
Having seen him spar before, it was clear that beneath his somewhat soft and pappy shell lay a core of steel, marked by agility and resolve.
"Lady, I was looking for you..." greeted a cheerful voice accompanied by a bright smile at the steps before your hut. "I... I was riding out the horses, and there, in the meadow, I thought of you when I saw these," stammered the young, handsome Dane, revealing a bouquet of wildflowers he had been hiding behind his back. His gaze quickly shifted to his feet.
The bouquet was not a mere haphazard cluster; it was artfully arranged—a vibrant swirl of colours with bright yellow flowers at the centre, gently transitioning to soft pink and white ones around the edges, framed by green leaves.
"They are beautiful, thank you so much, Sihtric," you said, your eyes widening in surprise. Your fingers lightly brushed against his as you accepted the flowers, inhaling their sweet scent. A muffled scoff from behind made you bury your face deeper into the bouquet to hide your amused smirk upon seeing Finan roll his eyes in annoyance.
"Lady, let me..." Sihtric hurriedly ascended the few steps and swung the door open for you, you stepped inside and Sihtric followed you, letting the door close just before Finan could enter. You turned to him with a surprised smile and, hearing Finan’s disgruntled curse behind the door, Sihtric quickly opened it again to let in the visibly annoyed Irishman.
"Please put the buckets there," you directed, pointing to a wooden bench in the corner while turning to fetch a vase for the flowers from the cupboard.
The sound of shuffling feet and muffled murmurs behind you indicated that both warriors were hesitant to leave. As you turned to face them, Finan spoke first, "I... I placed the buckets on the bench... I..." He scratched the back of his head, his eyes darting around the room, seemingly searching for something to say.
"Oh, your door is half ajar; it needs fixing," Sihtric suddenly exclaimed. "I'll fetch some tools and be right back."
"You've never held a hammer and nail in your life, you don’t even know what they look like, and now you want to pretend you can fix a door?" Finan scoffed, clearly upset he hadn’t noticed the issue first.
Sihtric hurried off to fetch the tools, leaving Finan behind, still bristling from the earlier mishap and determined not to be outdone by the young Dane. “I can fix that just fine without his help,” Finan muttered, eyeing the slightly ajar door as if it were a direct challenge to his capabilities.
When Sihtric returned, he clumsily carried a bundle of tools wrapped in cloth. Finan was already examining the door, squinting critically. “Here, let me show you how it’s done,” Sihtric announced with a confident swagger, setting the bundle down with a thud.
The two warriors stood side by side, peering at the assortment of tools, which included a couple of misshapen awls and a few worn hammers. “This one looks about right,” Sihtric said, picking up an awl with an uncertain glance.
“That’s not how you hold it, give it here,” Finan scoffed, snatching the tool and holding it upside down. You watched, amused, as they fumbled, each trying to outdo the other with bravado that was clearly unfounded.
“Here, you need to tighten the hinges,” Sihtric suggested.
“No, the alignment’s off. It needs a new hole,” Finan countered, eyeing the frame as if he could will it into compliance.
Sihtric attempted to use a hammer, gently tapping around the hinge as if coaxing it to tighten by itself. Meanwhile, Finan, now wielding an awl, tried to carve a new hole in the wood, his efforts resulting in a crooked and unnecessary indentation.
The result was a door that hung even more awkwardly than before.
“You know, maybe we should just ask the carpenter in the village,” Sihtric finally conceded, stepping back to examine their handiwork, which looked worse than when they started.
Finan, though reluctant to admit defeat, nodded in agreement. “Let’s just say woodworking isn’t our calling,” he said, chuckling awkwardly.
You couldn’t help but laugh at their earnest but bungled efforts, appreciating the entertainment, if not the craftsmanship. “I think that’s wise,” you agreed, still smiling. “But thank you both for trying. It’s the thought that counts, right?”
Everything went quiet suddenly, with just shy glances and nervous shuffling of feet filling the air. It was getting awkward, but it was obvious neither warrior wanted to leave. The question in their eyes was so clear and so charming that this time, you couldn't help but let a grin slip.
Their fondness for you was apparent, neither attempting to conceal it, as they'd been playfully fighting for your attention for a week now, and you'd be lying if you said you weren’t enjoying it. The two warriors were as different as fire and water, their contrasting energies sparking against each other with every word and gesture.
You really appreciated how Finan always looked out for you, always there to lend a hand, careful and attentive. His support was rock solid, his eyes always warm, and he never missed a chance to gently tease you.
Then there was Sihtric, with his wild, spontaneous streak that drew you in just as much. He’d show up at all sorts of odd times with flowers, or suddenly appear at your hut with a huge smile and a basket full of goodies, just because he’d found the perfect spot on a nearby hill to catch the sunset. No matter how tired you were, his laughter and sheer joy were contagious, always managing to sweep you up in another adventure.
Both warriors truly brightened up your life, even helping you momentarily forget the deep worry your sister's presence constantly evoked. As time passed, it was clear Uhtred was committed to his decision to stay with his brother, which only seemed to make the boys more hopeful whenever they looked your way. But what really amazed you was something quite rare, something you hadn’t seen before—even with their ongoing competition for your attention, their friendship didn’t waver—not even a bit.
They were both waiting for you to make a choice between them. And honestly, as much as you wanted to decide, making up your mind just seemed impossible.
Tumblr media
Stars were twinkling in the sky as you rolled your head back, letting the river run through your hair as you took your bath. Darkness wrapped itself around you like a veil, hidden from the drunken men you didn’t want to cross paths with, the nosy fighters who’d give a lot for a good look at your naked frame.
Your body had ached as you found your way down to the river, desperate for some moments alone, away from the confusion of being close to Sihtric and Finan pushed through you and the confusion your sister managed to push through your veins with every rising of the sun. It was a steady back and forth you should be all too used to by now.
“Here’s good!” The raspy voice echoed through the air, dripping with his Irish accent while forcing your eyes away from the sky to watch the two men walk closer. For a moment, you didn’t move, letting your curious eyes watch the two as you waited for them to notice you. But Finan and Sihtric kept undressing, not picking up on your closeness just now.
“It’s not very honourable of you to disturb a woman’s bath, now is it?” Humour flushed through you as you spoke the word, chasing the protection the dark water offered. Only your head and throat were visible, hiding the body both Finan and Sihtric had been imagining the past days, chasing highs with their minds solemnly focused on you.
“Apologies, lady.” SIhtric stumbled over his words, drawing a loud laugh from you as you kept on watching them.
“Would you mind some company?” It was a bold question the Irishman asked, knowing that this could take an ugly turn. Perhaps it was the mead flushing through your system, perhaps it was the thrilling coldness of the river, whatever it was, it forced your mouth open once again, giving room to your words rolling off your tongue.
“If you can behave, I wouldn’t mind your company, no.” The hum leaving Finan seemed to snap Sihtric out of his trance, averting his gaze as the two kept undressing. For some more seconds, you allowed yourself to study their muscular frames, a sight that left you trembling with heat pooling between your thighs before you eventually let your eyes wander back up to the sky.
“It’s a beautiful sight, aye.” Finan’s voice wrapped itself around you as he moved closer, marvelling at the starry sky. Even though you kept your eyes focused on the sky, you couldn’t help but focus on the heat he emanated – a heat that only grew stronger as Sihtric also stepped towards you. “But we are fortunate men, us two, we don’t have to look that far for a beautiful sight.”
The words left you laughing, unable to bite down your smile as you turned towards the two men. Mischief was swimming in their pupils, it seemed as if whatever back-and-forth they had felt between one another had found some end, a compromise perhaps. Whatever it was, it drew them even closer, giving you the chance to pull away before overstepping any boundaries
“Others may no longer respect your honour if they see you here with us, lady.” Sihtric’s husky voice was about to draw a moan out of you, reminding you of the words you had imagined them to speak as you had chased your high just this morning, thinking of these two warriors now caging you between their bodies.
“And why is that?” Slowly, you rose, exposing your naked chest to Finan, who was standing in front of you. You felt Sihtric tugging himself against your back, with his tensed abs pressing into your soft skin, with his hardening cock pressed against your behind. An unfamiliar heat took over, guiding your every moment – you were about to slip up, about to give in while your mind was silenced. And for the first time, you were alright with letting go, diving head-first into an adventure you had been dreaming of for days.
Sihtric’s hands found your waist, keeping you pressed to him as Finan’s warm hand cupped your cheek. You could feel their breaths teasing your skin, making you feel as if you were their sacrifice, one with the fire they were about to toss you into, leaving you trembling and aching – all because of them.
“Once you lose your honour to us, we won’t let you go again, little lady.” You scoffed at the nickname Finan used for you, a sound that was turned into a moan as Sihtric’s fingers danced down your stomach, finding their way to your pulsing bundle. The moan that clawed through you had nothing human-like to it, torn between a warrior’s cry and an animalistic growl. A sound so sinful, you felt both men chuckle; a chuckle of victory; a chuckle of excitement.
Tonight you were theirs. Tonight you wouldn’t break free from their grasp. Not tonight.
“Oh, gods.” The words clawed through you as Sihtric’s fingers began to move in circular motions, rubbing your bundle of nerves just enough to make the hairs at the back of your neck rise. It felt as if you were trapped by some kind of spell, chaining you to these two men who explored your body with their lips. Finan’s beard scratched your skin as he kissed your throat, dipping his head down to find your hardening nipples, all while Sihtric’s teeth teased the spot where your shoulder met your neck.
“No gods will answer your prayers tonight, pretty lady. For now, you’re ours to play with.” Sihtric’s raspy words were about to push you over the edge, chasing your release without feeling either one of them buried deep inside of you yet. You were desperate for more, torn between different sensations that left you trembling and aching for more.
“I want you, please.” It was pathetic almost how needy you were, too far in to pick up on the sly grin tugging on Finan’s lips, wordlessly communicating with Sihtric.
“How do you want us?” Finan’s lips teased yours, not kissing you fully, as if he was giving you a chance to pull away. But nothing could pull you from these two, not tonight at least. Sihtric tightened his grip on you as you kept quiet, adding more pressure to his moving fingers, toying with your pulsing bundle.
“Speak when you’re asked to, don’t play any games.” You choked on your gasps at Sihtric’s demanding command, leaving you shuddering between them.
“Both of you, I don’t care how, I just need you.” Within moments you were shifted around, pressed down on a nearby stone to balance your body as Finan positioned himself behind you. You were close to passing out, letting your racing heart guide you as your glassy eyes wandered down Sihtric’s muscular front, straight to his twitching cock. The Dane positioned himself in front of you, fingers pulling your hair together to draw your mouth closer to him.
“Who are we to deny a pretty lady’s wish, huh?” Finan pushed into you without another warning, tearing another moan from you that was silenced by Sihtric’s cock. Your mouth engulfed him, lips wrapped around his tip to suck on him. His taste stuck to your tongue, a taste you’d forever remember, just like the feeling of Finan finally fucking you. The Irishman didn’t grant you any mercy, he fucked you as if the Devil himself was chasing him, a sensation so strong your walls kept fluttering around him.
“What a devilish mouth for such a sweet seer.” Sihtric’s praises shot shudders down your spine and drew sounds from you that vibrated on his cock as he pushed further down your throat. You were close to seeing stars, close to letting the darkness that called your name swallow you. Tonight you didn’t care about what may happen to you. Tonight you didn’t care about losing yourself to these two handsome warriors. Tonight you were simply theirs.
“You feel divine, lady.” Finan groaned his words as he fucked you even deeper, pressed down on the cold stone that would surely leave its marks on your body. This night would leave its bruises on you, bruises you’d forever remember, while silently hoping that they’d leave some more on your body in the upcoming days and weeks.
Tears ran down your warm cheeks, tears of desperation and lust, drawn from your eyes by the feeling of Sihtric’s cock nudging your throat, by the feeling of Finan’s calloused fingertips rubbing your overstimulated bundle, pushing you over the edge within moments.
Finan fucked you through your high as Sihtric groaned your name, painting your tongue and cheeks white with his release. You didn’t dare break eye contact with the handsome Dane as you swallowed, not even as you felt Finan stain your behind with his cum. It was a moment so intimate that you were sure neither Finan nor Sihtric could ever forget about it, just like you.
The three of you were heavily panting as silence wrapped itself around you, drawing a laugh out of you as you rose back to your feet. You couldn’t help but shake your head as you studied the two for another moment, trying to accept what had just happened.
“What’s so funny, lady?” Finan pulled you against his broad chest, grinning in success as you clung to him, wordlessly telling the two that you weren’t planning on running anytime soon.
“I’m just happy, I think.” Your eyes wandered towards Sihtric, grinning at the man who looked at you as if you had hung up the stars in the sky yourself, a true masterpiece only a few were fortunate enough to take in.
“We won’t let you go again, we stay true to our words.” As much as you wanted to give in, to let this dream suck you into its grasp for some more moments, you couldn’t, breaking out of your hazy trance. Carefully you stepped away from Finan to sink back into the cold water, cleaning yourself for one last time that evening.
“Don’t make any promises, Irishman. You don’t know what’s coming upon us, it will be cruel, guided by my sister’s hands.”
Tumblr media
The clang of weapons and the wild shouts from the crowd echoed off the walls of Dunholm, deafening you with the force of a thunderstorm. You had always been certain of the foolishness and recklessness of men, yet they continued to surprise you.
Your decision to serve Ragnar was based on his ability to listen and consider matters without letting emotions cloud his judgement—a rare trait among men. But this time was different.
Your eyes shifted, catching a glimpse of Skade at the far end of the square. How had you missed it? Distracted by a fuzzy haze of love and admiration, you hadn't noticed the spider spinning its web behind you, the viper weaving its venom into the hearts of men. Now, you were forced to watch as arrogance and false pride shattered the fragile peace you had so carefully helped to nurture.
"Are you satisfied? Do you really think this will bring you anything?" you hissed into Skade's ear.
"I’ve won, little sister. I always win, whatever it takes. There’s no turning back. Uhtred is mine. He will come to rule all Danes and Saxons; he’s been born to lead. I’ve seen that. And I'll rise with him. He's bound to me, and there's nothing you can do about it," she whispered back, her words slicing through you like the sharpest knife, reopening old wounds you had struggled to heal.
“This is no game, Skade. Stop this madness. You’ve gone too far. You took a life that wasn’t yours to claim, just to replace her. This will have consequences, and you know it. Release him and stay here with me. Please, sister,” you pleaded, knowing deep down it was likely futile, but you had to try.
There was a subtle shuffle of feet before your sister finally turned to face you. Your pleading gaze met her icy stare, the chill from her eyes almost freezing your words in midair.
“Did you enjoy the company of those two fools, calling themselves warriors?” she asked coldly, her chin lifting slightly as she tilted her head to the right, scrutinising you through her long lashes. “Tell those two hounds to stay behind, or if they're foolish enough to follow their master, tell them not to interfere with me. You know better than anyone what happens to those who get in my way.”
You couldn’t remember how you got home, the sound of the door, shutting behind you with a loud thud as you slammed your back against the gnarled wood, startling you. You slid down the door to the floor, elbows on your knees, cradling your head in your hands.
Sobs wracked your body, starting quietly and gradually becoming louder and uncontrollable, until you threw back your head, releasing a loud, desperate cry that tore through you. Yes, you knew all too well what happened when someone interfered with your sister. You knew the agony of feeling like your heart was being ripped from your chest, leaving a wound that wouldn't heal, a wound that lingered for years.
She had taken everything from you once, and without a moment’s hesitation, she would do it again. Of that, you were certain.
Tumblr media
"Come with us," Finan urged, his large, rough palm reaching out for yours while his thumb gently traced circles on your skin.
"We will care for you, protect you," Sihtric added, his two-coloured eyes searching for yours, but you stubbornly refused to meet his gaze. You pulled your hands away from Finan’s gentle grip and, needing something to occupy them, began nervously adjusting and straightening your clothes. You shook your head, tears welling up in the corners of your eyes.
"Stay here, both of you, stay with me," you countered, finally lifting your head, your eyes pleading as they moved between Sihtric and Finan.
Silence stretching between you, Finan stepped forward first. He enveloped you in a strong embrace, his arms a fortress that for a brief moment, warded off what was about to come. As he pulled back, his hands cupped your face, and he leaned in to place a tender, lingering kiss on your lips
Sihtric, his expression a complex tapestry of regret and resolve, moved closer. His farewell was quieter, more restrained, as if he feared that any show of passion might crumble his resolve. He took your hands in his, holding them between you both, his gaze finally locking with yours. Slowly, he brought your hands to his lips, kissing them softly, his breath warm against your skin.
Words were superfluous; everything that needed to be said shimmered in the air around you, poignant and bittersweet.
“Be careful. Don’t underestimate my sister,” you finally broke the silence, “She can turn Uhtred against you.”
You saw the disbelief in their eyes and sighed deeply. “You have no idea of what she is capable of. This is just the beginning.”

Hi would it be okay to request a Rottmnt with a female reader who makes pastries or maybe works a some kind of pastry shop 🍰
Hello, hello! Hope you like a it ~ ♡♡♡♡
Tumblr media
Pastry Shop *.✧
Tumblr media
Shows up to your pastry shop all the time (not when people are inside, of course)
He’s not even subtle about it—he acts like it’s a casual visit, but everyone knows he’s there for you (and maybe for the pastries)
“Oh, hey, Y/N. Fancy meeting you here… at your workplace… again.” Cue his cheeky grin
Always “samples” whatever you’re baking
He’s the type to ask, “Do you need a taste-tester? Because I’m highly qualified.”
Pretends to have sophisticated taste in desserts. “Hmm, the balance of sweetness in this éclair is truly exquisite.”
But really, he’ll eat anything you make
“For me? Your favorite customer? C’mon, don’t act like I’m not your favorite.”
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
At first, he’s a little shy about coming by
But once he realizes how much you love baking, he’s all in
He always compliments your creations, even if it’s just a simple cupcake. “This is amazing, Y/N. You’re really talented.”
Buys way more pastries than he can eat, just to support you(he started saving money just for that)
His brothers constantly find random boxes of cookies and cakes in the lair
Always offers to help you carry heavy supplies, like bags of flour or crates of ingredients
“No way you’re lifting that on your own. Let me.”
You caught him sneaking one of your pastries into his pocket for later, and now he’s forever known as “the pastry thief.”
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Doesn’t understand the appeal of pastries at first
He’s more of a “function over flavor” kind of guy, but he’s fascinated by the science behind baking
Spends a whole afternoon in your kitchen asking questions about how different ingredients work. “Wait, so gluten development affects the structure of bread? Fascinating.”
Invents gadgets to make your life easier, like a faster mixer or a temperature-controlled rolling pin
“With this, you’ll have the most consistent dough in the city!”
You catch him sneaking into your shop late at night to try and reverse-engineer your recipes
When you confront him, he denies everything. “I was… conducting research!”
His favorite thing to order is whatever you made just for him
He insists it’s purely because of your skill, but you know he loves the personal touch.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
The biggest hype man for your baking
Every time he tries something you’ve made, it’s “THE BEST THING I’VE EVER TASTED.”
Wants to help in the kitchen but always makes a mess
Flour ends up everywhere, and you have to shoo him out before he burns something
Calls you “his personal pastry chef,” even if you’ve told him a million times that you bake for everyone, not just him
Has a massive sweet tooth and keeps begging you to make custom desserts based on his wild ideas
“Okay, hear me out—pizza-flavored cupcakes!”
Brings your pastries back to the lair and brags to his brothers about how talented you are. “Y/N’s the best baker in the world! You guys are missing out.”

COOKING NIGHT-DREW STARKEY
𝕤𝕦𝕞𝕞𝕒𝕣𝕪 Drew and Y/N try to cook together, but it turns into a hilarious mess.
-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈
It was supposed to be a simple, romantic evening.
Drew Starkey had the brilliant idea of skipping takeout for once and cooking dinner together with Y/N. She had jokingly complained the week before about their excessive reliance on Uber Eats, so Drew decided it was time to prove they could do something more domestic.
“Think about it,” he said that morning as they lay in bed. “Good food, great wine, and the satisfaction of making something with our own hands. It’ll be fun!”
Y/N eyed him skeptically. “Do you even know where the pots and pans are?”
“Of course I do!” he retorted, feigning offense. “They are somewhere in the kitchen.”
By late afternoon, they were in the kitchen armed with ingredients for a homemade pasta recipe Drew had found online. He had watched half a cooking tutorial on YouTube earlier and felt ready to tackle the task. Y/N, ever the realist, had a backup plan: frozen pizza in the freezer, just in case.
The first sign of trouble came early.
“Do we really need this much flour?” Y/N asked, frowning as Drew poured what looked like half the bag onto the counter.
“That’s what it said in the video!” Drew replied confidently, rolling up his sleeves.
Y/N glanced at his phone, where the recipe was still open. “Drew, it says two cups of flour. You just dumped, like, five.”
Drew paused, his hands coated in the white powder. “...Well, it’s too late now. We’ll just make extra pasta. More is better, right?”
Y/N shook her head, laughing, but didn’t argue.
Things quickly escalated.
Drew was tasked with kneading the dough, but his enthusiasm for the task sent small clouds of flour into the air. Y/N stood back, arms crossed, watching as he wrestled with the sticky, uneven lump on the counter.
“Is it supposed to look like that?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Totally,” Drew said, though the dough clung to his fingers like glue. “This is exactly how Gordon Ramsay does it.”
She couldn’t suppress a laugh. “Sure it is.”
By the time they had something resembling pasta dough, the kitchen looked like a tornado had swept through. There was flour on the counters, on the floor, and somehow on Drew’s forehead.
“Okay,” Y/N said, clapping her hands together. “You handle the pasta; I’ll work on the sauce. How hard can it be?”
Turns out, making sauce wasn’t as straightforward as she thought.
Y/N chopped onions with more enthusiasm than precision, the knife slipping dangerously close to her fingers. Drew hovered nervously beside her.
“Careful! You’re not supposed to hold the knife like that.”
“Oh, and you’re the expert now?” she shot back, throwing a handful of onions into the pan.
The oil in the pan hissed and popped violently, and both of them jumped back.
“Is it supposed to do that?” Drew asked, grabbing a spatula like it was a weapon.
“I think so,” Y/N replied, though her tone was far from confident.
Meanwhile, Drew’s attempt to roll out the pasta was going poorly. The dough clung to the rolling pin, tearing apart no matter how much flour he added.
“This stupid thing won’t cooperate!” he grumbled, shaking the sticky mess.
Y/N turned just in time to see a piece of dough fly through the air and land on the kitchen light fixture.
“Oh my god, Drew!” she exclaimed, doubling over with laughter.
“It’s not funny!” he protested, though he couldn’t help but laugh along with her. “Okay, maybe it’s a little funny.”
By the time they finally dropped the misshapen noodles into boiling water, the sauce was bubbling ominously on the stove, and the kitchen looked like a crime scene.
When they sat down to eat, the table was set with mismatched plates and the slightly burnt garlic bread Drew had insisted on adding at the last minute.
The pasta...well, it wasn’t perfect. The noodles were uneven, some parts were overcooked, and the sauce was a little too salty. But they were laughing too hard to care.
“This might be the worst pasta I’ve ever had,” Y/N said, giggling as she twirled a lumpy noodle onto her fork.
“Hey! It’s...rustic,” Drew said defensively, though he couldn’t keep a straight face.
“Rustic is a nice way of saying terrible.”
They clinked their glasses of wine together, grinning. “To our first and possibly last attempt at cooking together,” Y/N said.
“To frozen pizza as a backup plan,” Drew added, pulling the box out of the freezer with a flourish.
As they sat on the couch later, eating perfectly crisp pizza and watching a movie, Drew glanced over at Y/N.
“Okay, maybe we’re not gourmet chefs,” he admitted. “But it wasn’t all bad, right?”
She smiled, leaning her head on his shoulder. “Not bad at all. Definitely the most fun I’ve had ruining dinner.”
Drew chuckled, pressing a kiss to the top of her head. “Next time, we’ll just stick to sandwiches.”
And despite the mess, the chaos, and the slightly singed garlic bread, it was a night they’d both remember for years to come.

do you think arthur would like to bake?
like hear me out a second. obviously he's a pretty great artist, and that's one hobby that (in a perfect world with a happy ending, shhh) he could probably pursue at home with paints and notebooks and whatnot... wouldn't it be something to do something that simple with him? bread, at first. y'know, all that kneading. could really use some help with the physical labor, mr morgan... and then quick breads, the kind that use fruits and baking powders. little introductions of luxuries that never really occurred to him to create, because why would they? he wasn't made to make things— only oops, he's an artist. he has it in him.
also the idea of him braiding little bread accents for scored loaves is knocking me out. also also, tell me he wouldn't be the type to think about building one of those bigger bakers ovens. he strikes me as the type to always need a task, even if you technically have a perfectly good cast iron oven *right there.*
give the man a constructive hobby, that's what i mean. because (after he builds the house, bc if that was in john's nature it's definitely in his) he needs one.
your brain… your brain…. i have so many thoughts about this and this will be more of a thought drop rather than full blurb because hello??? oh em gee….
arthur, who after slipping the noose promised by micah and dutch with his sweetheart at his side, finds comfort and joy in building her a house with his blood and sweat. with a desire to build a small homestead in the grizzlies, he purchased a plot of land blooming with wildflowers and painted with lines of a flowing creek, where he spent hours resurrecting his monument to his love. a place where you could sleep without fear. a place where he could finally be free.
sweat slick and sore, he not only built the house itself (with the help of his friends of course) but he also built the fence that surrounded the property. and after that, he built a barn and a couple of pens. in his mind, the labor purified him. the sins of his past bled out from his pores through acts of pure devotion. he’d come in to the meal you prepared for him with a kiss and a mumbled thanks and quickly fall asleep the moment he had your warm body next to him.
with the labor born of devotion and bred for purification, his pure love of creation for the sake of creation helped keep him to himself. more detailed sketches in his journal, widdling wooden keepsakes. the love of creation never died within him, so as he watches you one fine morning delicately cutting flower shaped slices into a dough of bread before baking, the gears in his head begins grinding.
eventually, when the chores have been done and he ensures you have nothing to do but what you please, you find him in the kitchen. he’s covered in flour in a way that makes your heart clench with how endearing he is. he focuses as he carves out floral shapes into the bread the same as you did, blade hand steady and unwavering.
it seems that gunslinging steadiness has finally paid off.

masterlist
Tumblr media
The aroma of freshly baked bread hit your senses as you stepped into the cozy cooking studio, the soft hum of classical music playing in the background. Sunoo stood beside you, already bouncing on the balls of his feet with excitement.
“Look at this place,” he said, gesturing dramatically to the rows of polished countertops and neatly organized ingredients. “We’re basically on one of those fancy cooking shows. Gordon Ramsay, who?” You laughed, adjusting the apron the instructor had handed you. “Let’s just hope we don’t burn the place down.” “Speak for yourself,” Sunoo shot back with a grin, tying his apron in a perfectly neat bow. “I’m a natural chef. Just watch.”
The instructor began explaining the recipe (a classic pasta dish with freshly made sauce) but neither of you paid much attention. Sunoo was too busy poking fun at your overly serious expression, and you were too busy rolling your eyes at his antics.
When it was finally time to start, things went off the rails almost immediately.
“Uh, Sunoo?” you called, holding up a measuring cup filled to the brim with flour. “How much of this are we supposed to use again?” He leaned over to look, squinting at the recipe card. “It says half a cup, but honestly, who measures things? Just eyeball it.” “Are you sure?” you asked, hesitating. “Trust me,” he said, flashing a confident smile. “What’s the worst that could happen?”
vYou decided to take his advice and dumped the entire cup into the mixing bowl. A cloud of flour puffed into the air, covering both of you in a fine white powder. “Oops,” Sunoo said, blinking through the flour that now coated his lashes. “You said to eyeball it!” you protested, trying not to laugh.
“Yeah, but I didn’t mean that much,” he shot back, laughing as he grabbed a towel to wipe his face. “At least now you look like a ghost. Very spooky.” You smacked his arm lightly, but the playful smile on your face gave you away.
As the class continued, the two of you made mistake after mistake. Sunoo cracked an egg too forcefully, spilling it all over the counter, and you accidentally turned the mixer on too high, sending ingredients flying in every direction.
“Okay, this is officially a disaster,” you said, trying to scrape bits of dough off your apron. “It’s not a disaster,” Sunoo replied, holding up a slightly lopsided pile of chopped vegetables. “It’s… character. Our dish has personality.”
Despite the chaos, neither of you could stop laughing. The other students in the class sent amused glances your way, and even the instructor shook her head with a smile as she passed by your station.
When it was finally time to plate the pasta, your creation looked nothing like the sample dish. The noodles were slightly overcooked, and the sauce was too thick, but Sunoo proudly held up the plate like it was a five-star masterpiece.
“Behold,” he announced, presenting it to you with a flourish. “A culinary triumph.” You snorted. “It looks like a kindergartener made it.”
“Hey, rude,” he said, pretending to be offended. “But you know what? At least we had fun. That’s what matters, right?” You nodded, smiling at him. “Yeah, you’re right. This was way more fun than I expected.”
As the class wrapped up, you found yourselves sitting at a small table by the window, sharing bites of your imperfect creation. The evening sun cast a warm glow across the room, and for a moment, everything felt calm.
Sunoo leaned back in his chair, watching you with a soft smile. “You know,” he said, his voice quieter now, “I’m really glad you came with me today. I can always count on you to make things fun.”
You felt your cheeks warm at his words, but you tried to play it cool. “Pretty sure you’re the one who turned this into a comedy show.” “Yeah, but you were the perfect co star,” he said, resting his chin on his hand as he looked at you. His gaze lingered for a moment, and the playful energy from earlier softened into something warmer.
Before you could think of a response, Sunoo suddenly sat up straight. “Wait. I almost forgot!” “Forgot what?” you asked, watching as he rummaged through his bag.
With a triumphant grin, he pulled out a small, neatly wrapped box and slid it across the table to you. “Here. For being my partner in crime today.” You blinked, surprised. “What is this?” “Open it and find out,” he said, leaning forward with anticipation.
Carefully, you unwrapped the box, revealing a delicate charm bracelet with tiny cooking themed charms, a rolling pin, a whisk, and a little heart-shaped cookie cutter.
“It’s so cute,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper. “Sunoo, you didn’t have to…” “I wanted to,” he interrupted, his smile soft but genuine. “I saw it last week and thought it’d be perfect for today. Now you’ll have something to remember our disastrous but iconic cooking adventure.”
You stared at the bracelet, your heart swelling at the thoughtfulness behind the gesture. “Thank you, Sunoo. Really. This means a lot.” He waved a hand dismissively, but the slight pink on his cheeks betrayed him. “It’s nothing. Just… wear it when you miss me, okay? That way, you’ll always have me around to tease you.”
You laughed, slipping the bracelet onto your wrist. “You’re unbelievable.” “And yet, you still hang out with me,” he teased, standing up and holding out a hand to you. “Come on. Let’s go get some real food to make up for our sad excuse for pasta.”
You took his hand, letting him pull you to your feet. As you walked out of the studio together, the bracelet on your wrist jingled softly with every step, a sweet reminder of a day you knew you’d never forget.

Bread (Pero x wifey!reader)
Read on AO3
Sequel to Seed and Sprout. (Series now very cleverly titled Pero x wifey!reader)
Fandom: The Great Wall
Tags/warnings: Pero eats it from the back, PinV sex, Pero goes a little hard, some cum play, breeding kink blink and you'll miss it.
Words: 1,806
Summary: You mean to bake bread while the baby is napping, but your husband Pero has other plans.
A/N: Thanks to @pazizz for the idea, and sorry to keep you hanging for so long!
Tumblr media
The rain is pitter-pattering against the windows, and you gaze out at the gray world outside. Autumn has arrived, and with it a slowing down of things, chores, life. You welcome it, after a hot summer that, in addition to your normal chores, included taking care of a baby. Not that little Tomás was too difficult: you strapped him to your body and carried him while doing your chores, it was as simple as that. He slept uneasily during the nights, but Pero gladly walked around with night after night, rocking him in his arms, patiently despite the crying. An upside to this was that the baby slept well during the days, and now you have a bread dough that has been rising since last night, and at least two hours to bake.
Sleeves rolled up, you spread flour on the table and begin to knead the dough. The baking oven spreads its heat in the kitchen, and soon your hairline is damp and your cheeks rosy and shiny. Still, you hum to yourself as you work the dough, rejoicing in the feeling of your strong arms, the smell of the dough, the warmth of your home. You loosen the laces that adjust your neckline, allowing it to widen enough to drop down one shoulder. You are still breastfeeding, and Tomás ate well before his nap, so your breasts feel wonderfully light.
The door opens and Pero steps in, bringing with him a gush of autumn. Stepping out of his boots and hanging up his coat, he is then left standing at the door for a moment, watching you. Looking up, you smile at him.
”Everything okay?”
”Yes.”
You go back to the dough, and Pero walks to the bedroom door.
”Is the baby asleep?”
”Just went down.”
”Good.”
Pero comes up behind you, hands low on your hips as he kisses your sweaty neck.
”Seeing you like this makes me stiff,” he murmurs, trailing his lips down your neck. You don’t stop kneading for one second.
”Like what?”
”Sweaty, disheveled, tits out.”
A shiver runs down your spine at your husband’s low voice, and when he presses himself against your ass – oh, he is stiff indeed! – your hands come to a stop, and a tiny whimper escapes you.
”Pero, I don’t have time, I need to do this before he wakes up...” you protest feebly, fingers thick in the dough as you turn your head to allow Pero better access to your neck.
”I’ll watch him if he wakes up before you’re finished,” he vows as he slowly moves his hands to your front, cupping your tits and pushing them up.
”The oven is hot now, I can’t keep it this warm for long...” you try, eyes closing when Pero’s hands roam further, one up to your neck, fingers softly closing over your wild pulse, the other down between your legs, cupping you over the fabric of your skirts.
”The oven will be fine, I however will perish if I don’t get to taste my wife...”
Your dripping cunt makes the decision for you, and you turn your head more, finding his lips, and give your consent in a desperate kiss. Pero pushes you against his hand, against the table, hard cock rubbing your buttocks through layers of clothing. You mean to turn around, but he keeps you in place.
”You said you were in a hurry,” he grins into the kiss, and releases your neck to quickly gather up your skirts. A strong, broad hand between your shoulder blades guides you to bend over the table, and he kneels behind you.
”Open up for me, wife,” he breathes ruggedly, hot breath burning your uncovered sex. You obey, parting your legs more, and hold your breath in anticipation, release it in a low moan when Pero finally kisses your cunt.
How could you ever say no to your husband? During your recuperation time from childbirth, Pero had respectfully waited, given you all the time you needed to be ready for intimacy again. He never rushed or pressured you, but you could tell after a couple of months that he was aching for you. And truth be told, so were you.
You know Pero better than anyone, know the man behind the scarred glare the rest of the world saw. You know so very intimately how that glare can soften, how lovingly the callused hands can caress.
And still, seeing Pero with his son opened up a whole new understanding of him. He is so gentle with the baby, so careful and patient. And his devotion to you has grown more than you thought possible since you gave him your son. He loved you, adored you, respected you before, now he worships you.
How could you say no to such a man? A man who sees you bake bread, and immediately grows hard in his breeches? Who is now on his knees behind you, devouring your cunt?
You don’t. Instead, you push back, stoking his hunger and your pleasure when he sucks at your bud, as gluttonous as the baby suckling your breast. He kneads your buttocks like you kneaded the dough earlier, fingers pushing and pinching into your soft flesh. You scratch at the table like you’re trying to hold onto the surface, flour powders your sweaty chest and the front of your clothes but you don’t care when your toes start to curl inside your socks as Pero’s lips and tongue take tighten the spring deep inside you. You mewl, your thighs shake, and Pero growls into your cunt, latches on and sucks hard. You slap your hand over your mouth to cover the loud moan that your climax pulls from you, and your nostrils are filled with finely ground flour that makes you snort and giggle, all the while Pero lavishes your dripping cunt with kisses.
”My love, my beautiful wife,” he murmurs between the kisses. ”So beautiful, so wet for me.”
You wipe your nose with the back of your hand and mumble something in reply. Pero kisses your buttocks, both of them, before standing up with a grunt. He pulls you up and holds you flush against him, back to chest, and seeks your lips for a kiss. He, however, stops when he sees your face, then smiles widely.
”You have a little flour on you, wife.”
With one big thumb, he gently brushes at your lips and cheeks before kissing you. He tastes of moss and sea; the flavours of your sex, your release, and you push back against him, eager for more.
”What is a little flour spilled compared to knowing my husband’s big cock?” you quip, earning a low chuckle before he presses his lips to yours once more. You reach behind you, find his belt and tug at it to let him know that you need him, and you sigh into the hungry kisses when Pero unbuckles his belt and opens the front of his breeches. His cock springs free, immediately seeking its way between your upper inner thighs, like it can smell you. You reach down, finding him and leading him right. Pero groans when the thick head slides in, his grip on you tightens momentarily, and you whine when he pushes on, further in, until you’re trapped between his hips and the table, your cunt full of his thick, hard cock. The kisses have ebbed out, you’re just breathing heavily against each other’s lips now, and Pero swallows audibly before pressing his forehead to your shoulder. You lick your lips and move back, hissing at the fullness.
”Husband, I need you,” you beg breathlessly, ”take me now, hurry.”
Roused by your plea, Pero takes a firm hold of your hips, and starts to rut into you. It’s in moments like these that you feel his strength, sense his violent past as a warrior. He grips you hard, teetering on the edge of too hard but never crossing the line, and ravages you in a way that doesn’t seem to belong in this quiet life, this sheltered village by the sea, where nothing ever happens and people are farmers and fishermen.
But being fucked like this does belong in your life, and you relish it, love the way he claims you, love the adventure of his force, and the way it frees you, makes you feel like something wild and untamed. You’re not ashamed when you ask him to go harder, and you lean over the table, hands clamped over your mouth when he does. Your hips will be bruised later from hitting the edge of the table over and over again, your front is covered in flour, Pero is growling somewhere behind and above you, and you claw at the table when it’s almost too much, but your still want more.
When he reaches his climax, he pushes all the way in, shoving the table forward an inch, and he lays down on you with a loud groan. You feel his cock pulsate inside you, your insides stained with rich, thick cum, and you turn your head to chase his lips for a kiss. His facial hair grates at your cheek and chin as you try to kiss but it’s mostly just panting into each other’s mouth. Still, you need it, need his breath, his weight on you, his hand that you only just now realize is around your neck, thumb slowly stroking your jugular. You swallow, and he feels it.
”Was I too rough?” he asks hoarsely, hands all soft and gently searching your skin for sore spots. You shake your head, smiling blissfully.
”No, husband, never. It was divine.”
He chuckles tiredly against your ear, one hand leaving your body to push himself up to stand. Your hum, the angle changing how he feels inside of you, and you realize that he’s still hard. He pulls out, however, and caresses your buttock.
”Being inside you is divine,” he tells you gruffly, and you hum, slowly rising up. Pero’s seed starts to ooze out of your cunt, and he places a hand on your lower back, stopping you. You feel the tip of his cock against your folds, catching the cum that seems so cold when outside your body, and then he slides back in, pushing his cum back inside you with a whimper. You catch your lower lip between your teeth in a throaty exhale.
”Pero...”
”I know, my love, I just don’t want to waste it.”
He pulls you up and brings you against himself in a soft embrace, dry lips on your neck. Shivering from the overstimulation, he still doesn’t stop his slow movement inside you.
”Don’t want in anywhere but inside your juicy cunt...”
You moan again, wanton and shameless, like a bitch in heat.
”Then fuck it deeper, husband.”
