App Defaults and Home Screen Update – January 2025
I wrote a bit more in-depth about it in my original post here – but here’s my update at the beginning of 2025! A bunch of these are paid apps I probably wouldn’t prioritise if I didn’t already subscribe to Setapp 🖇️ – so keep that in mind.
Headers with * have some changes.
Mac dock
I use an automatic shortcut, activated with Shortery, to switch between the dock being “hidden at the bottom” (on the laptop screen) and “shown to the left” (on my 27" monitor).
Here’s what it looks like by default:
The stacks to the right are Apps, Setapp, and my Downloads folder
iPhone home (and lock) screens
My home screens, and backgrounds, change with my Focus modes – but I wouldn’t say I’m great at maintaining these modes. I’ll often use different variants of the same background, for instance from Wallaroo. Some of my modes have traces of this – but I’ll also mix it up, like I have now, with things like photos of my wife.
I always use just one home screen – so I always have one swipe to the Today View and the App Library.
Today View and App Library

Do Not Disturb

Chill

Sleep (lock screen not relevant)

Driving (home screen not relevant)

Systems and productivity
📓 Notes, tasks, and writing*
Most of this happens in a folder of Markdown files, which I access both through Paper, NotePlan, and Ulysses. At the same time, I just love using Bike (and always think in outlines), so I use that a bit as well. But it’s a big con that I can only access those files on the Mac for now…
I’ve been dabbling with Godspeed 🖇️ for tasks – and I can recommend it, even though I just don’t need a separate task manager.
I’m also using Obsidian for my band, and Notes.app for stuff I share with my wife.
📖 Journaling*
I’ve switched from Everlog to Diarly because the latter is included in Setapp. But I still don’t journal a lot, and I’d say they’re about equally good.
🛒 Shopping list
My wife and I are using Bring.
📅 Calendar
Still using, and liking, BusyCal.
🌦️ Weather app
The free (because it’s run, and paid for, by the Norwegian state 👌🏻) weather service and app Yr is great, and a true hidden gem (for people outside of Norway).
📮 Mail server
Fastmail 🖇️ still works great!
📨 Mail client
Mail.app is still aggressively fine.
💬 Chat app
I don’t love the people behind it, and I don’t use the more “social media”-like features of it at all. But as a simple chat/call app for friends and family, nothing beats Telegram. And the fact that it’s cross-platform is great, as my social circle is that as well.
🌐 Browser
Even though it’s an Alpha product, I’ve used Zen as my main browser for the last couple of months. And I really like it, and the fact that I can use (and enjoy) a Gecko browser.
I currently use Quiche Browser on iOS, and Safari on iPadOS.
🔎 Search Engine
Kagi is still one of my favourite tech products. Luckily, I don’t know what people are talking about when they’re discussing how web search has become bad…
🔖 Bookmarks
Anybox is my box for anything.
🔐 Password management
I strongly believe that it’s a good idea to store your passwords (etc.) in a third-party manager. And I like 1Password – especially as it works great to use with my family.
📶 RSS backend
I still use Feedbin – but I’m looking at the possibility of hosting in on my new Mac Mini!
📰 RSS reader
Lire is still my favourite here. 👌🏻
📁 Cloud File Storage
I try not to use services from the absolute largest companies if I can help it. So that’s one reason why I’m mostly using Dropbox – and I quite like it as well. But I’m fearing that Apple is forcing me to pay for more iCloud storage as well…
🌅 Photo storage and management
I just use Photos.app.
📷 Camera app
I think I would’ve liked something like Obscura or Halide if I had a better mobile camera. But as I’m still rocking my iPhone 13 Mini, Camera.app works OK.
⏲️ Time tracking
Timemator works perfectly for my use.
Tools and utilities
🤖 Automation and settings
The trifecta of Keyboard Maestro, BetterTouchTool, and Karabiner-Elements makes every other Mac seem broken. PopClip, Hazel, and SoundSource also contributes.
🔩 Text Editor*
I mostly use Nova – but occasionally (including now) I try to run Zed as my main. Nova is more feature-rich, (arguably) prettier, and noob-friendly.1 But Zed is faster and more minimal!
📟 Terminal*
There’s a similar story here: I’ve mostly used Warp 🖇️ recently – and I love how noob-friendly it is! Especially how it handles text like a normal frickin program! (Instead of doing it in the special terminal-way.) But I’m currently trying Ghostty, which is more sleek and less bloated.
📦 Package manager
I just love installing (and uninstalling) apps with HomeBrew. So I always use that if I can.
🧮 Calculator
On the Mac, I’m using the launcher or Soulver. And on the iPhone, I can’t recommend the weirdly named SC-323PU enough! Take it from a maths teacher: It’s the best – even for simple calculations.
🖼️ Screenshots (and screen recordings)
Cleanshot is just so good. 👌🏻
🚀 Launcher (and more)
I still use, and love, Raycast 🖇️ – both as my launcher, and general LLM interface. It’s really fast, and I love how I can set hotkeys to everything. For instance, I have hotkeys to open numerous apps, different AI commands, running shortcuts, and searching Anybox.
I’ve bought a license for the (even more) indie alternative Monarch – to support the development. The dev is working on the ability to Bring Your Own Key (AI) and support for (Raycast) extensions – and I’ll be interested to see if it can replace Raycast at some point.
🪟 Window management
I mostly use Raycast, combined with Apple’s default actions. (Here’s a post on how I set up the hotkeys, and here’s a post on how I manage windows.)
I also use Lasso when I need something more specific.
📋 Clipboard manager
Paste is terrific.
📄 PDF tool
Nitro PDF is a perfect example of a nice “better default” I would never pay for, but am glad I have access to through Setapp.
🗜️ Zip tool
Archiver is another little Setapp gem.
🍸 Menu bar organiser
I’m interested in the development of something like Ice – but I’m currently happy with Bartender. Especially how it can change dynamically (both when things change, like battery status, and depending on whether I’m using an external screen.)
🗑️ Uninstaller
PearCleaner is great when HomeBrew can’t be used.
🌍 VPN
I don’t use this a lot – but ClearVPN (through Setapp) works well enough.
🖌️ Design tools
Still liking the Affinity suite!
Entertainment
⚽ Football scores
If you follow football, no matter the league, I highly recommend (the Norwegian app) FotMob.
🎬 Media player and server*
Another enjoyable “Setapp default” is Elmedia Player, which I use for local music and video files.
A new addition is me running a Jellyfin server on my Mac Mini, and watching stuff there through the great Infuse player.
🎤 Podcast player
Overcast got (temporarily) worse just after the recent rewrite – but now we’re into the phase where it’s better than it was before, and where the developer is (and thus we are as well) reaping the rewards of going through with it.
🐘 Mastodon client
Mastodon is my social media of choice, and there are so many great apps for it out there! But my favourite, is Mona.
👥 Reddit client
It’s not as good as Apollo was (RIP) – but Narwhal 2 is pretty good.
🎵 Music
I’m still on Tidal, after being on Spotify for a decade. Still don’t like it as much – but it’s OK.
That’s it!
My absolute favourite parts about Apple’s platforms isn’t stuff they do – but all the great software available for it. (Even though I know some of the things I’ve mentioned are cross-platform!) It’s almost like, sometimes, the work of others gives them more business – and not just the other way around…
Regarding noob-friendly-ness: My favourite things in Nova here is, a git pane (but I’ve now graduated to doing it in the terminal 💪🏻), rainbow brackets (but Zed has gotten some colour coded indent lines that does some of the same), minimap, and code structure headings (when you scroll down, where you “are” in the code sticks to the top). ↩︎

Iforgot.Apple.Com Scam: How To Avoid?
Imagine receiving an email with the subject line “URGENT ACTION NEEDED!” The body of the message claims your Apple ID has been compromised due to suspicious activity. Panic might set in, but before you hit that “reset password” button, take a deep breath. This could very well be a phishing attempt designed to steal your login credentials.

Phishing scammers are on the field again, this time targeting Apple users with emails claiming their accounts have been compromised and directing them to a fake website (iforgot.apple.com) to “reset their passwords. Don’t be fooled. In this article, we’ll discuss the Iforgot.apple.com scam and How to Avoid it.
What Is The IForgot.Apple.Com Scam?
Before knowing about the scam, let’s know what iForget is. iForgot is Apple’s official website to help users recover their Apple IDs and reset passwords. So, if you have forgotten your Apple ID password, head on to the website to ensure prompt and secure resolution of iCloud ID issues. Then what is the scam all about?
That’s where the scam starts. Cyber scammers and fraudsters exploit the iForgot feature to get your Apple IDs and passwords. They will send you fake emails from the iForgot email ID, containing fake links and malware. The email would resemble the original email that you received from the official iForgot website. When you tap on the link or download any attachment, you’ll be redirected to a website where they’ll ask you to enter your old Apple ID and password.
How Does The IForgot.Apple.Com Scam Work?
Here’s how the iForgot Apple scam works.
The Phishing Email: You receive a cleverly disguised email, supposedly from Apple Support. The subject line might be alarming, something like “Your Apple ID has been locked” or “Unauthorized sign-in attempt.“
Sense of Urgency: The email body creates a sense of panic. It might claim that your account has been compromised or that suspicious activity has been detected. The message insists you must act immediately.
The Fake Link: Within the email, there’s a prominent link that seemingly leads to iforgot.apple.com, Apple’s legitimate password reset site. However, the displayed text and the actual link destination are different. This trick is designed to fool you.
The Phishing Website: Upon clicking the link, you’re redirected to a fake Apple ID login page that closely resembles the official one. Unaware, you enter your Apple ID credentials and password.
Data Theft: The moment you submit your information on the fake site, it reaches the scammers. They now have full control over your Apple ID.
How To Prevent IForgot.Apple Scam?
If you receive anonymous mail, the safest thing you can do is ignore it or even delete it. If you don’t click on any link, download any software, or interact with the email in any way, there’s nothing a scammer can do. The scams only work if you click on their links.
To save yourself from falling victim to such scams, exercise caution with any email or message requesting personal information, particularly if it comes from an unfamiliar source. Always verify the sender’s authenticity before clicking on any links or providing login details. If you’re uncertain whether a website is genuine or fake, it’s advisable to navigate directly to the official Apple website and log in from there. Here are some other things that you can consider:
Never click any link from emails: If you want to reset your password, go to “iforgot.apple.com” directly in your web browser or navigate to it through the official Apple website. Never click links within suspicious emails.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication: This adds an extra layer of security to your Apple ID. When you enable it, you will need a code to log into your Apple account.
Strengthen Your Password: Use a unique, complex password for your Apple ID and change it regularly. Avoid reusing the same password across different services.
Trust Your Instincts: If something feels “off” about an email, it probably is. The safest thing is to be vigilant.
How To Spot An IForgot.Apple Scam?
The iForgot scam mail is received by many users. To protect yourself from such scams, you need to know what the mail or the scam looks like. Here’s all you need to know about the mail:
Email Sender: Carefully scrutinize the sender’s address. While it might look official at first glance, it likely won’t end in “@apple.com.” Scammers often use slight misspellings or unrelated domains.
Poor Grammar and Spelling: Genuine Apple communications are rigorously edited. Typos, strange phrasing, or awkward wording should raise suspicion.
Urgent Mail: Scammers want you to panic and make rash decisions. In the mail, you’ll see aggressive time limits like “verify within 24 hours” or dire threats like “your account will be permanently deleted.”
Unexpected Links: Hover your mouse over any links in the email (without clicking) to reveal their true address. If it doesn’t match a legitimate Apple domain, it’s a scam.
Requests for Personal Info: Apple will never ask for your password, credit card numbers, social security numbers, or similar sensitive information directly in an email.
What Happens If You Mistakenly Click On The Link?
If you get a link in your email asking for your Apple ID and password or just an attachment to download, it’s better not to open the link. But what happens if you open the link and even enter your ID and password? Here’s what can happen:
Account Takeover: Scammers could immediately change your password, locking you out of your account.
Identity Theft: Access to your Apple ID allows access to personal data like your name, address, and potentially credit card information.
App Store Fraud: Scammers might make unauthorized purchases on the App Store using your linked payment methods.
Data Hijacking: It could give them iCloud access, which means photos, documents, and other sensitive files.
Phishing Your Contacts: Scammers controlling your account could send similar scam emails to your contacts list, spreading the trap further.
Conclusion
That’s all about the iforgot.apple.com scam and how you can avoid such scams. The scam works only if you give your information. If you don’t react to such mail, it is useless and will not cause any harm. In case you have already entered your ID and password, it is better to change your password as soon as possible. If you can’t, head to the nearest Apple center. The best prevention is to be vigilant about such mail. Refer to the article for more details. In case of any doubt, do let us know in the comment section below.

Ways to Backup iPhone to Computer

It is now more than five years since the iPhone revolutionized the mobile phone and the way in which we communicate. A lot has changed since then; however, the fundamental limitations imposed by Apple against transfer of iPhone data to computer remain. This article examines ways to backup iPhone to computer which circumvent Apple's restrictions.
Backup iPhone contacts to PC:
With the arrival of the iCloud, it is easier than ever to transfer one's iPhone contacts between multiple devices in storing iPhone contacts on Apple's servers. But what if you are looking to how to backup iphone to mac create a safe offline backup of your contact list stored away from third-party company servers? How to backup iPhone contacts directly to your PC?
youtube
Well, the answer is not that simple at first since there are dozens, if not hundreds, of apps which promise to do some sort of iPhone contact import, export, transfer, or backup. You can use iTunes and sync iPhone contacts to your Windows Contacts. This, however, requires syncing your iPhone with iTunes. If your iTunes library was not previously synced with your iPhone, you run the risk of your iPhone music being wiped away by iTunes.
Very recently, I found several 3rd party programs which offer to manage your iPhone contacts and, among other features, can help you transfer and backup iPhone contacts to another location such as a new iPhone or directly to a folder on your PC.
Here is a quick overview of the first program in action called CopyTrans Contacts.
This program requires you to have a Windows PC, if you are using a Mac or do not wish to use a computer as an intermediary to backup your iPhone data, scroll further below. Connect your iPhone to your PC after which your contacts will show up.
You only need to select your iPhone contacts from the program window and drag/drop them to a folder on your computer. Your iPhone contacts will transfer in the form of a *.vcf files within that folder. You can later use these files and restore them to your iPhone, should you need to or even to another iPhone.
youtube
More information about this program from the developer's website:
There are a number of alternative ways of transferring iPhone contacts featuring both your computer as an intermediary, or directly through your iPhone device. For instance, My Contacts Backup would send your old iPhone contacts to your email account from where you can recuperate them on your new iPhone.
If you are looking to bringing all your contacts from various online accounts such as your Facebook, LInkedIn, Email, etc, to your iPhone you can use Smartr Contacts.
Smartr contacts will upload your contact data from your various social and online accounts to their servers and display all data combined within their app designed to run on your iPhone.

Syncing contacts and other iPhone data to your Google account via Google Sync
A popular way to backup your online data, at least for those who have a Google account is via Google Sync. If you don't have a Google account, you can easily open one. Google sync is easy to set up on your iPhone and will sync your Contacts, Email, and Calendars to your Google account.
You can sync your iPhone contacts via iTunes sync by selecting the "Google Contacts" option in "Sync Contacts with" under the "Info" tab.
For those who would like to avoid iTunes sync, the easiest way is to use Google Sync directly on their iPhone. To do so, simply set up an Exchange account by going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Microsoft Exchange.
Just follow through the set-up wizard where you would have to enter your Google user name and password in addition to Google's mobile server.

Syncing iPhone contacts across multiple devices using the iCloud
For those who wouldn't mind uploading their contact info on Apple's servers; mind you if you are a privacy freak who keeps their data strictly offline, you might not enjoy this, Apple has developed a rather handy Cloud-based platform for sharing your iPhone contacts, calendars, photos and even music across all of your iOS devices called simply the iCloud.
All iOS devices such as the iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad running on iOS 5 + are automatically compatible with the iCloud. In order to enable the iCloud on your iPhone, you would first need to set up an Apple ID. An Apple ID usually requires that you provide your credit card information.
Next, enable the iCloud on your iPhone by navigating to Settings > iCloud and entering your Apple ID and password.
youtube
Finally, choose what data you would like to sync between your iPhone and your iCloud account.
These are several easy ways to backup iPhone to computer circumventing iTunes and Apple limitations, depending on whether you want to backup iPhone contacts or transfer iPhone music and aps.

Yell at me for doing extras, enjoy dealing with activation lock.
Worked for a retailer that had display ipads and iphones. Being a nerd, I went ahead and set them all up. Between setting up a common icloud account for activation lock to making sure the adhesive pads stick down properly. Figured out how to get the alarm system working properly by just playing around. On top of that, fixing up technical issues with cash registers and anything vaguely computer related. Given no one else was really interested in how this stuff worked, I was the one go to for all this stuff.
Everything was fine. Management gave me space and time to maintain and update everything and I just did it. No complaints.
Anyway, the thing with retail is, good managers get promoted away and bad managers hang around. The 1IC and 2IC were promoted away within the space of two or three months. They were both pretty cool. Understanding and reasonable. The two that came and replaced them were all about numbers. Not customer satisfaction numbers, pure turnover numbers. Morale died. But wait, how bad could it have been? Having somehow gotten a fracture in my back and being unable to walk without limping like the hunchback of notre dame, I wasn't asked whether I'd be alright to work, I was told to walk with more pride.
With this change of management, I was told in no uncertain terms to "not waste time playing with the ipads". (This was done in the form of yelling about an inch from my face. I wasn't sure whether I was meant to go in for a kiss.) I didn't ignore other tasks or customers to do it but ok boss, if you insist.
Given I was unable to really move properly anyway, I gave my notice. During my last week, I went into the spreadsheet where they keep everyone's contact details. This isn't anything official and I can say that with confidence because everyone had access to it. I'm pretty sure that's not legal, but anyway. I changed a digit on my contact details so I'd not have to deal with any of it after I left.
Those ipads and things get replaced occasionally when a new one comes out. So they'd have to wipe them and clean them up then. To wipe them, they'll need the icloud password. At that point, I apologize to the person whose phone number is one up from mine for the abusive voice mails they're gonna get.

The Very best Browsers for 2019: Brave Browser?
The Best Browsers for 2019: Brave Browser?: Net browsers are multipurpose Internet applications that include the flexibility to view web sites as well as interact with different software program and companies. After greater than eighty hours of analysis and testing, we got here to the conclusion that Mozilla Firefox is one of the best web browser for most people. It boasts fast page brave browser review loads, quick navigation and, most importantly, secure browsing. We examined every web browser's default security settings utilizing stay malware, and Firefox appropriately stopped extra malicious downloads - and warned of more harmful web sites - than some other fashionable internet browser.
Avast is quick at starting up and navigating between pages. And compared to extra common browsers, Avast loaded extra quickly. The largest disadvantage is Avast is simply suitable with Home windows computers, so you'll be able to't apply it to Apple or Android cellular devices. There may be an early access Mac model, but as this isn't but totally-fledged we wouldn't recommend utilizing it but. Google have acknowledged that their intention with Chrome is to make the online browser the portal for most of the functions which can be usually run on the computer. This is called cloud computing and the first steps might be seen within the extensions feature of the browser where purposes resembling mail, Fb, Twitter and blogging instruments may be accessed at the contact of a button and are lively only when the system is on-line. In line with the minimalist tone these functions are represented on the browser with simple icons relatively than the cluttered toolbars on Web Explorer or Firefox. I found this worked more often than not. The function works sending tabs between Home windows, Mac, Linux, and Android. Sadly, iOS users are disregarded. The characteristic is unavailable for them. When it comes to customizing Chrome, there are the publicly seen extensions, after which there are the key experimental flags buried deep within the coronary heart of Chrome itself. We tinker with some hidden settings to improve tab efficiency - with mixed outcomes.
How to Pick out the Appropriate Web Browser for You
It consists of typical browser instruments like tabbed shopping, session restore and a password manager. Its pop-up blocker is mechanically enabled from the second it is put in, which is becoming more typical of all internet browsers, and it has a privacy browser to keep your browser historical past from being tracked while online. Firefox is the most succesful net browser on the market and affords a slew of features that may permit you to get the very best out of the online, including tabbed shopping, toolbar customisation and parental controls through the usage of the many extensions that may customise the browser. You usually don't cease and think about your Web browser: A webpage surrounded by an tackle bar to enter hyperlinks, plus usually a bar in your favourite websites. Nonetheless, the Web browsers differ in efficiency and additional functionalities that you should use. Opera has created a second browser alongside Mini; that does issues fully in a different way. Whereas Mini is focussed on saving as much information as potential, and shrinking down websites, in order that they load rapidly; Coast is about creating an entire new sort of net browser. This browser is the default for iPhones and iPads, and it syncs by your iCloud account, so any changes you make on one machine will probably be accessible on any system connected to your account. When we examined its default safety settings, Safari warned us of malicious web sites that had phishing schemes or dangerous links on them. But it surely didn't cease malicious downloads, so we had to rely upon a Mac antivirus program to collect these threats through the download process.

Remove Samsung Account From Your Android PhonesĮarlier generation of Android-based Samsung carried an option to remove Samsung account. To uninstall the app completely, hold the icon, move it to uninstall (Remove) area at the top of the screen.Let’s begin. However, remember that this method only unlinks the account. Repeat that process for any account you want to remove from your phone. If you want to get rid of an account completely, you can do that in the Accounts menu. Then, in the drop-down menu, select Remove account, confirm it’s what you actually want to do it, and it’ll be instantly wiped away from your phone. You can still use the menu or Home screen to remove any dormant or compromised accounts, for example If you wanted to delete an account from your phone, you just tap the app icon, select the account you want to remove (if more than one is linked), press the menu button in the top right corner.
#Manage apps on a samsung phone password
You’ll have to visit the individual apps to do things like change your password or turn on 2-factor authentication. You can also opt to turn off auto-sync completely by tapping the three dots in the top-right corner unchecking the Auto-sync. Most provide a simple on/off switch, but some offer a permission controller, which allows you to change the UI, Logic, and for a specific role purpose within the app. Every app has its own sync settings, so you’ll be able to manage any that may be draining the battery. You can adjust the sync settings for individual apps or turn it off completely in the Account tab.Īlong with adding accounts, you can also manage how much data each is using in the background. When you return to the Accounts page, all the accounts will be added to the active list.
#Manage apps on a samsung phone download
Here you manage, update, offers, and use to download all apps. The button, which takes you to the Play Store account page, also manages your Google account. Select one of the apps in the list, then you’ll be taken to the respective login page where you can login with your new username. Tap it, and you’ll get a list of all the apps on your phone that require an account, so you can link a new one or add another to Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, etc. These two screens might look the same, but the Add Account page also includes any apps that haven’t been linked to an account yet.Īt the bottom of the list you’ll find an Add account button, which does exactly what you’d expect it to do. For instance, if you use Newton Mail or Gmail to manage your iCloud storage, they will show separately. All of your accounts will be collected under the tab, but any other email addresses you use will be tied to the appropriate client. Once you open the tab, you’ll instantly be met with an alphabetical list of any apps on your phone that have active accounts tied to them. Accounts keeps a running list of the social media, storage, and email accounts you have on your phone, and gives you the power to delete them, and control their background activities. This is separate from the tab, where you’ll find a lot of preferences related to how your account operates on your device. Under the Personal tab in Settings, you’ll find an option for Accounts. The Accounts tab in Settings holds the keys to all of the online accounts on your phone. Whether you want to add, remove, or tweak one of your accounts, Android has built a way to do it right inside the Settings app. The longer you have your phone, the more they can pile up before long, your app drawer is filled with all sorts of services that may or may not be tied to an active account.īut you don’t have to open each app to manage them. Everyone who owns an Android phone has an account, but there are lots of other apps on our phones that all require their own login credentials.

How do i uninstall outlook on mac and then reinstall

How do i uninstall outlook on mac and then reinstall mac#
I did restore my original settings to not accept cookies but nothing changed. Uninstalling Office will not delete any Outlook data. In fact, it will leave most, if not all, your settings intact as well. Not an earth shattering problem, it just makes no sense and I am baffled. Reinstalling Outlook wont delete any email, contacts, calendar items, etc just like reinstalling Word wont delete any Word documents. Did it, BUT it did not work and I got the blinking blank page. So I said great, now I'll do the same thing in IE. Reinstalling Outlook/Office and losing data If I were to completely uninstall and reinstall Outlook or Office, will I lose all of my messages and settings Reinstalling Outlook won't delete any email, contacts, calendar items, etc just like reinstalling Word won't delete any Word documents. So I enabled cookies in Gmail when using Firefox and Bingo - problem solved. When I posed that problem on this forum I had several answers all involving enabling the acceptance of cookies, which I had disabled from the beginning. Suddenly and for no apparent reason I now have to type in both.
How do i uninstall outlook on mac and then reinstall password#
All I did was type in the first letter of my user name and the rest of the name and entire password filled in automatically. What caused it? Well, for the three years I have had Gmail I have been able to go to it when in either browser without having to enter my user name or password. Select account you want to delete, then click the - button to remove.
How do i uninstall outlook on mac and then reinstall mac#
But, if I am using the IE browser (which works fine) and decide to check my Gmail, l all I get is an empty page that appears to be blinking quite rapidly. How do I delete Office 365 from my Mac Delete a Profile in Outlook (Mac OS X) Choose Preferences from the Outlook menu. Everything is intact and I can read or send email as usual. Moreover, you can add multiple accounts which makes it easy to manage all your email whether it’s from Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo or some other service. The first time you open it, you will be prompted to add an email account on the Mac Mail App. I was just trying to explain that when I am using Firefox and check my email, I can access Gmail with no problem. While there are some great alternative email apps that you can use, the Mail App on Mac is pretty convenient. I do understand that Gmail does not exist in either browser.
