My version of how Kedarnath ends (spoilers)
Mukku and her family manage to reach to a safe place. There are so many people around - drenched entirely and worried for their survival. Everything is happening really fast that Mukku doesn’t really get any time to think. Her mother pushes a stack of towels into her hands and she gets to handing them out to people who are freezing, who cannot move due to the cold water. As Mukku is handing out towels, she sees Kullu enter the house with his mother. His mother is in pain and is freezing. Mukku glares at him and then turns to her sister, signalling her to not bother with him. Brinda just grabs a towel and goes to offer it to his mother, wrapping it around her. Brinda goes to the stove to prepare some hot tea for them. Their mother is helping Brinda with the tea as well. Suddenly, they feel the house structure shake, as though its foundations are shaken and they see cracks form around them. Mukku looks up in horror to her sister and mother on the other side of crack. Before she knows is, one half of the house breaks down and sinks in the flood below them taking her mother and her sister with it. People around start running out in panic, trying to escape the debilitated house. But for Mukku and her father, time stops, Mukku and her father are distraught. She loses sense of everything and just falls to the ground looking at her mother and sister reaching out from the flowing water, water that is rapidly carrying them away with the wave. They are reaching out for help, Mukku cannot do anything but shout and scream and cry. Her father is in shock, looking at one half of his family being carried away with the water. His wife and his daughter. Both are helpless.
Mukku’s father quickly realises that the building structure is about collapse and they might suffer the same fate as his wife and daughter, he pulls Mukku up and starts dragging her outside. She is still in shock and resists slightly until survival instincts kick in. They make their way out, where they run into Kullu. Mukku loses her cool and starts hitting and attacking him whilst her father watches, trying to half-heartedly trying to stop her. Kullu finally pushes her off, gives her and her father a sharp look and walks away from them, deserting them. Her father is a little shocked, but Mukku just takes her father's arm and pulls him away in the opposite direction. Mukku and her father make their way into the Kedarnath temple, where a lot of people have taken shelter. Everyone is scared beyond their mind. Mukku’s father hugs her and rubs her head trying to comfort her. Mukku’s thoughts are broken up when she hears Mansoor's voice calling out her name. She immediately stands up and starts walking around shouting his name. They finally see each other. Both are relieved. As they are making their way to each other, a huge gush of water floods the temple and within seconds they are under water and are dragged out of the temple with the force of water. Mukku's father catches hold of her, but they are being pulled with the water, until Mansoor reaches out and grabs Mukku's hand and holds on to Nandi. The force of the water is really pulling against them. Mansoor is determined and holds on to the statue for dear life. Mansoor and Mukku look at each other, just trying to withstand this moment, praying that the water passes. Eventually Mukku starts to lose consciousness, Mansoor looks at her and sees that her eyes have closed. Helplessly Mansoor tries to wake her up by jerking her arm, her father is holding onto her arm, both of them dependent on Mansoor holding onto the statue. People around them have been dragged away with the water. It would have been the end but the water passes away after a few seconds and they go along with it and are submerged in the ground and covered in wet mud. Within a few minutes, Mansoor wakes up, feeling suffocated. He is covered in wet mud. He wipes his face instinctively, trying to breathe and sees bodies around him. He immediately locates Mukku and goes to her, picks her out of the mud, wipes her face and nose as she gasps for breath. He sees that she is well, so he does the same to her father lying next to her. Her father starts breathing and gets up, feeling indebted to Mansoor. They see other bodies, and jump to helping them. Some of them are still alive, Mansoor and Mukku help them up. Most of them are dead.
They can feel the structure is not very steady and is trembling a lot. They are worried for their lives. With them, there is a small family of 3. Mukku is held on both sides by her father and Mansoor. They see an Army helicopter making their way to them. The party of 6 make their way up to the terrace of the house they are in. The helicopter stops above them and drops down the cable and the jacket. Mansoor grabs it and starts securing the jacket with it around a woman and her kid from the family. He secures them and signals the officer to pull them up. Next, Mansoor secures the jacket for Mukku’s father. Her father is crying and holds onto Mansoor’s shoulders, not knowing how to convey his emotions. Mansoor just nods at him, understanding him, and signals the officer to take him up. When the cable comes down again, Mansoor couldn’t have been quicker to put it around Mukku. Mukku is just crying and looking at him. She is feeling helpless, her eyes convey that she wants Mansoor up next, her eyes are almost pleading with him to hurry him. She wishes they could go up together. She just wants her father and Mansoor out of there. He quickly hugs her and kisses her forehead and checks whether the jacket is secure before giving the thumbs up to the rescue team, they quickly pull her up. They send it back down, Mukku is just calling out for him. Mansoor is securing the jacket around himself looking up, Mukku is just calling out for him, until she hears the officer say they can only allow one person as the helicopter is full. Hearing this, the child also starts calling out for his father down. Mansoor just looks up, seeing Mukku and the little boy. Mukku calling out for him and the little boy calling out for his father. The choice is made for Mansoor. Crying, he starts to take off his jacker. Mukku is being held by her father, she is crying out for Mansoor. She keeps yelling “Mansoor NO NO NO”. He cries harder hearing her scream but he could not let a little boy lose his father. He knows the pain of it. He secures the jacket around the man, and signals the officers to take him up. Mukku is crying , he looks up at her, he is crying too but he still smiles at her. Once, the man is up, the helicopter flies away, leaving Mansoor back on the roof.
Mukku is inconsolable, they pull her back in, her father hugs her and they close the helicopter. She screams, she kicks her legs, she ultimately feels numb. After a while, the helicopter finally makes a landing. Mukku has screamed and cries so much that there’s nothing but dry tears now. They are asked to get out of the helicopter quickly, so they team can head back to save more people. They get out and are led to whether the other rescued people are sitting. When they get there, Mukku and her father see Kullu sitting there with other people. He sees them and makes their way to them. Before he can say anything, Mukku's father makes it clear to him that the marriage never happened for them and he'd rather die than let Mukku be Kullu's wife. Her father takes Mukku away from him. Kullu just watches them walk away, not knowing how to explain his act of cowardice. Mukku’s father tries to see if he can see his wife and daughter there. Hoping against everything that they were too rescued as they were. Mukku is just sitting wrapped in a blanket, her father consoling her but she can't hear him, she cannot hear anything around her. Her entire world has been ripped from her, her mother, her beloved sister and Mansoor. She somehow feels responsible for everything. She is broken out of her thoughts, when she feels her father jerking her arm, looking at a distance saying 'Mansoor Mansoor" , trying to get her to see. She immediately looks up and sees Mansoor and some more people alighting from another rescue helicopter walking to the area with all the other rescued people. He has tears in his eyes but a smile on his face, looking at Mukku, Mukku finds herself get up and runs towards him and hugs him tightly, as tightly as she possibly could, scared that letting go would mean him disappearing. She cries hugging him and he hugs her back. Her father just looks on at the two of them. Mansoor opens his eyes and looks at her father, and is happy seeing her father give a soft smile as well.
After all, how can Bholenath let anything bad happen to his devotee?
--- Fast forward 3 years, Mansoor and Mukku are happily married, they are taking care of Shankar Lodge together and living with her father and Mansoor's mother and Mukku is pregnant.
The End
--
I had imagined this story when I first watched Kedarnath in 2019, because I just couldn’t live with the fact that Mansoor had died and didn’t get his happy ending. I had to imagine something else to make myself feel better. The writing might not be very polished though, it’s just to make myself feel better.
(Perhaps they also found her mother and Brinda were rescued too, but I didn’t write that)
I wrote this now because of the unfortunate demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. I don’t know why but I was really affected by his death, despite not knowing him personally. May he rest in peace.

🍀 LONG LIVE POSITIVITY 🍀
The bad words and curses are drooling out of those stolen glorified palsied mouths, do you even believe 2020 was a year for negativity? And the reason was just a virus? Some say the furious human beings are behind this intentional destruction by the nature, for the nature. Pandemic had left everyone helpless as well as hopeless. No food, no jobs! A big population is swept away in the tsunami of virus infection. Sushant Singh Rajput and many other controversial topics went up getting to hit the headlines. Nepotism, the word which rarely was known had become a major issue and that is hard to forget. Rapes, murders, organ trafficking and what not?! Do we need to get anything more worse than this? Too much of negativity, too much of compromises, way too much of sufferings. If we do not put the reel out, the movie loaded with violent scenes would not end for sure. It was a bad year, we all know.
BUT THE EARTH HAS NOT ENDED UP, DID IT?
*takes a sigh of relief*
*countdown starts towards a positivity ride*
*the meter is on*
*lets go*
Aren't you grateful for the most positive thing that you are still alive and is having a good plate of cookies beside you while reading this post? Aren't you thankful for your stable mind (so you are judging my writing skill) and your parents talking in the living room about your future? Aren't you joyfully playing the guitar or learning some new skill due to the pandemic lockdown? Aren't you not feeling well because you're able to see your friends out as your dad could afford the internet pack for you?
You have an ocean of opportunities, right under your feet. You're blessed. You have your grandmom beside you to sing you lullabies even if you are a 25-year old woman?! You have a lot of time to read your favorite authors which you couldn't due to the heavy course load. You are obviously one of the luckiest if your mom tells you to wear the mask properly (as to a 3-year old kid) and your father directs you how to use the hand sanitizer (IKYK better, but still)! You are the happiest person alive if you and your sister fight daily for that one pakoda left on the plate.
Trust me, you are in heaven!
*coughs a little*
*don't worry, this ain't Covid*
*unfollows a negative meme*
*mom scolds because I was acting as if I had a blubber*

Ending Your Life Is No Solution
Date: June 15, 2020
The entire media is bustling with what Sushant Singh Rajput has done and everyone has their own interpretation.
I have lots of say in this so trying to break it down to specifics:
I just saw a tweet that Kamal R Khan has put out on February 27, 2020 that stated: Yashraj, Sajid Nadiadwala, Salman Khan, Balaji Motion Pictures, Karan Johar, Dinesh Vijayan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali as well as T-Series have all boycotted Sushant Singh Rajput and he will have to do television serials only.
This is what I have to say on the above: first of all I don’t support Karan or Aditya, but the fact of the matter is that most of the actors do not entertain independent producers, first time directors or writers. They all run behind established banners.
I am sure there are many great scripts by first timers, but the SAD part is that that none of the main stream actors stand to support them. A lot of independent produces, first time directors with good scripts approach established actors, but all they get to here is that they do not want to work with first timers.
In fact, a couple of years ago, I had approached actors like Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana, but sadly all I got to hear was, “Sorry you are a TV writer, sorry, we only want to work with an established team.
The funny part is that these same actors complain about a lobby and how harsh this industry is. I really don’t get this.
Now if I was an actor and if I was in their place, I would have made my own empire, picked up the so called television writers, good first time technicians, a financer and would have set the ball rolling and if this formula got me success at the Box Office, then I would have never needed the Johar’s and the Chopra’s.
At this point I may sound rude, but I want to know what were the parents, brother and sisters of all the actors who have ended their lives doing. Did they not see it coming, why did they leave them alone. I am sure none of us will ask them these questions but how can their own family just leave them.
Apparently, Sushant was not in touch with his family for a while now, but why did the family not make an effort to be in touch with him. Even if he was avoiding them, why did they not force themselves on to him. Once again, I really do not get this too.
Couple of years ago I had asked the same question to Pratyusha Banerjee’s parents and I am still waiting for an answer.
Also, I feel the word Nepotism is so very OVERRATTED. It all started when Kangana Ranaut made this statement on Koffee With Karan on February 20, 2017. I would like to ask anyone and everyone about this so called privileged star kids.
Why are we only taking about successful star kids like Ranbir Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Tiger Shroff, Alia Bhatt and many more.
We should even talk about Mala Sinha’s daughter Pratibha Sinha, Smita Patel’s son Prateik Babbar, Mithun Chakraborty son Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor and many more.
I am sure, if Kangana’s nephew wants to either become an actor or a director, she will put together a project for him. But then it will happen two decades later and that not be Nepotism as she is self-made. Now if that’s the case then even Shah Rukh Khan is self-made so why do we troll Aryan and Suhana.
Nepotism exists everyone, it’s easy for a doctor to push his own child if he chooses to be a doctor.
I am not a Shah Rukh Khan fan, but then I want to ask you all a question, when Shah Rukh Khan had introduced Mukesh Ambani's son Anant, post his weight loss, at an event as he was joining his father’s empire, the media covered Anant’s mother, Nita Ambani, who has in tears and had stated that it was a proud moment for a mother.
Few months later, Shah Rukh Khan unveiled Suhana’s Vogue cover in the Middle East, but was trolled for Nepotism and the fact that Suhana did not deserve to be on the cover.
So according to everyone, Anant was deserving, while Suhana was not. Well, that’s being NASTY and UNFAIR.
Before I say good bye, I would like to tell you that there is only ONE thing that separates the ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTURY from the rest and that’s the fact that the HINDI ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY is a Personality Lead Medium. We do not judge people for their calibre, but we judge them according to OUR COMFORT LEVEL.
Unlike the corporates, where your CV commands respect, in the HINDI ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY the decision entirely rests on the Producer or the board caster. If he or she wants to work with you, you will get work, if not, then tough luck!!
Think about it!!

The Pegasus Project | A Global Investigation
The Spyware is Sold to Governments to Fight Terrorism. In India, It Was Used to Hack Journalists and Others.
The confirmed infections of seven phones represent a tiny fraction of what may be a vast surveillance net in Modi’s India
— Wall Street Journal | By Joanna Slater and Niha Masih | July 19, 2021

(Atul Loke/Getty Images)
NEW DELHI — A powerful surveillance tool licensed only to governments was used to infiltrate mobile phones belonging to at least seven people in India and was active on some of their devices as recently as this month.
The hacks — confirmed by forensic analysis of the phones — represent a tiny fraction of what may be a vast surveillance net, intensifying concerns about the erosion of civil liberties in India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Hundreds of Indian phone numbers appeared on a list that included some selected for surveillance by clients of NSO Group, an Israeli firm. The list contained numbers for Rahul Gandhi, India’s main opposition leader; Ashok Lavasa, a key election official considered an obstacle to the ruling party; and M. Hari Menon, the local head of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Others included on the list were journalists, activists, opposition politicians, senior officials, business executives, public health experts, Tibetan exiles and foreign diplomats. A group of Modi critics accused of plotting to overthrow the government also appeared on the list.
The spyware that infiltrated seven of the analyzed phones is called Pegasus. It secretly unlocks the contents of a target’s mobile phone and transforms it into a listening device. NSO says it licenses the tool exclusively to government agencies to combat terrorism and other serious crimes.
In India, use of the spyware appears to have gone well beyond those objectives. Five of the phones infiltrated in India belonged to journalists and one to a high-profile political adviser working for Modi’s opponents.
More than 1,000 phone numbers in India appeared on the list, according to a months-long collaborative investigation by The Washington Post and 16 media partners in 10 countries. The consortium verified the identities of the people associated with more than 300 of the numbers in India.
It is not known how many of the phones on the list were actually targeted for surveillance or how many attempts were successful. Forensic analyses performed on 22 smartphones in India whose numbers appeared on the list showed that 10 were targeted with Pegasus, seven of them successfully. Eight of the 12 inconclusive results involved Android phones, which do not log the information needed for the method used to uncover infection.
Sushant Singh, an Indian journalist whose phone number first appeared on the list in 2018, reported extensively on a controversial purchase of fighter jets from France by the Modi government. Pegasus was active on Singh’s iPhone as recently as this month, a forensic analysis showed.
The targeting of journalists creates “an environment of fear and intimidation” where “democracy eventually stands weakened,” Singh said.
Forbidden Stories, a Paris-based journalism nonprofit, and Amnesty International had access to the list of thousands of phone numbers worldwide and shared it with The Post and other outlets. Forbidden Stories oversaw the investigation, called the Pegasus Project, and Amnesty’s International’s Security Lab provided forensic analyses and technical support but had no editorial input.
It is not clear how many of the mobile phones on the worldwide list were ultimately infected by spyware. In all, Amnesty’s Security Lab examined 67 phones where attacks were suspected. Thirty-seven phones showed traces of Pegasus activity: 23 were successfully infected, and 14 showed signs of attempted targeting. For the remaining 30 phones, the tests were inconclusive. Half of them were Android devices, which do not store the types of data needed by Amnesty to indicate infection.
How Pegasus Works
Target: Someone sends what’s known as a trap link to a smartphone that persuades the victim to tap and activate — or activates itself without any input, as in the most sophisticated “zero-click” hacks.
Infect: The spyware captures and copies the phone’s most basic functions, NSO marketing materials show, recording from the cameras and microphone and collecting location data, call logs and contacts.
Track: The implant secretly reports that information to an operative who can use it to map out sensitive details of the victim’s life.
Amnesty has openly criticized NSO’s spyware business and supported an unsuccessful lawsuit against the company in an Israeli court seeking to have its export license revoked.
The numbers from India and to a lesser extent Pakistan that appeared on the list offer a portrait of an NSO client’s priorities in the region. The records included at least one number once used by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, as well as hundreds of others in the country. Khan did not respond to a request for comment.

Yet there were many more Indian numbers on the list. Citizen Lab, a research group at the University of Toronto that specializes in studying Pegasus, has found evidence that 10 countries represented on the list, including India, have been clients of NSO, according to Bill Marczak, a senior research fellow.
India has neither confirmed nor denied that it obtained Pegasus spyware. In 2019, WhatsApp said it had uncovered a vulnerability through which more than 1,400 of its users worldwide were targeted using Pegasus, a group that included people in India. In a parliamentary debate later that year, then-Indian law minister Ravi Shankar Prasad repeatedly declined to answer questions about whether the country had bought the tool. Prasad said that no “unauthorized” surveillance had occurred.
In response to detailed questions, a statement from India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said the claim of government surveillance of specific people “has no concrete basis or truth associated with it whatsoever.”
The government did not respond to questions about whether it is an NSO Group client. The statement said that “any interception, monitoring or decryption of any information through any computer resource is done as per due process of law.”
In lengthy responses, NSO called the investigation’s findings exaggerated and baseless. It also said it does not operate the spyware licensed to its clients and “has no insight” into their specific intelligence activities. It added that its technologies have helped prevent terrorist attacks and bombings and broken up rings that trafficked in drugs, sex and children.
“NSO Group will continue to investigate all credible claims of misuse and take appropriate action based on the results of these investigations,” the company said.
More than 30 Indian journalists appeared on the list. Those whose phones were compromised, forensic analysis showed, included Siddharth Varadarajan and M.K. Venu, two co-founders of the Wire, an Indian digital media outlet and a partner in the Pegasus Project.
Another person successfully targeted with Pegasus software was Prashant Kishor, an influential campaign strategist who once worked for Modi but this year helped defeat his party in a crucial state election. Kishor’s phone was compromised as recently as July 14, a forensic analysis showed. He said the apparent surveillance was “really disappointing.” Those responsible “were looking to take undue advantage of their position of power with the help of illegal snooping,” Kishor said.
Some of the Indian numbers on the list belonged to people who could be viewed as legitimate targets of inquiry by Indian law enforcement or intelligence services, including some belonging to people connected to ongoing criminal investigations.
Yet the numbers also included people who did not appear to have had run-ins with law enforcement authorities. In addition to the journalists, there were opposition politicians, activists, several public health experts and business executives. Some were government critics, while others seemed to be allies.
Two ministers in Modi’s government — Ashwini Vaishnaw, the new minister for information technology, and Prahlad Singh Patel, a junior minister for water resources — were among those whose phone numbers appeared on the list. Vaishnaw and Patel did not respond to requests for comment.
Rahul Gandhi, seen in New Delhi in 2019, was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s chief rival in upcoming national elections when phone numbers he used were added in 2018 to a list that included numbers selected for surveillance by NSO Group clients. (Atul Loke/Getty Images)
One of the most prominent people on the list was Rahul Gandhi, a leading opposition figure and the great-grandson of India’s first prime minister. When numbers used by Gandhi were added to the list in 2018, he was Modi’s chief rival in upcoming national elections.
Those selected included not only Gandhi but some of his staff members and friends. Alankar Sawai and Sachin Rao, two of his close advisers, were among those whose numbers appeared on the list, as were several of Gandhi’s personal friends. Sawai and Rao did not answer requests for comment.
Gandhi responded with a statement. “Targeted surveillance of the type you describe, whether in regard to me, other leaders of the opposition or indeed any law-abiding citizen of India is illegal and deplorable,” he said. “If your information is correct, the scale and nature of surveillance you describe goes beyond an attack on the privacy of individuals. It is an attack on the democratic foundations of our country. It must be thoroughly investigated and those responsible be identified and punished.”
Another person who was an impediment to Modi’s ambitions was also on the list: Ashok Lavasa, a senior official who was in line to lead the powerful Election Commission of India. Lavasa determined that Modi repeatedly violated election guidelines during the 2019 national campaign. He later resigned from the commission. Lavasa declined to comment.
Others had nothing to do with politics. Several people working in India’s health sector are represented on the list, among them Gagandeep Kang, a virologist, and two employees of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention based in Delhi.
In 2018, Kang was helping with aspects of the response to an outbreak of the deadly Nipah virus in the southern Indian state of Kerala. She urged Indian health officials to share blood samples of those infected with a global initiative to develop vaccines against future pandemics, an effort that was ultimately fruitless. Kang struggled to imagine why she would be deemed a target of surveillance. “I lead a very, very boring life,” she said.
Virologist Gagandeep Kang, one of several people working in India’s health sector whose numbers appeared on a list that includes numbers selected for surveillance, struggled to imagine why she would be of interest. “I lead a very, very boring life,” she said. (Pallava Bagla/Corbis/Getty Images)
M. Hari Menon, the India country head for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, as well as at least one other foundation employee were added to the list in mid-2019. It was a period when the foundation was extending a significant honor to Modi: In September, the prime minister was named a “global goalkeeper” at an annual ceremony in New York for his work on sanitation. Menon did not respond to a request for comment.
Proximity to India’s top officials was also common among some on the list. In 2019, a woman made an explosive complaint against the chief justice of India’s Supreme Court, accusing him of sexual harassment. After she rebuffed his advances, she said, she was dismissed from her job at the court. The justice denied the allegations.
After the woman’s accusations went public, family members said they received anonymous threats. At least 11 phone numbers used by the woman, her husband and two other family members were also on the list of those apparently selected for potential surveillance. The justice is now a member of Parliament with the ruling party.

The breadth of the potential targets in India raises legal questions. The Indian government has the power to “surveil, monitor and decrypt” communications, but hacking is a crime in India.
Lawyers looking to represent people whose phones have been hacked by Pegasus face an imposing hurdle: How can they challenge the legality of a tool that the government has never acknowledged using?
Legal surveillance requests in India are granted by a senior official in the Home Ministry, both at the federal and state levels. They are reviewed by a small committee of civil servants, and there is no oversight by the courts unless there is a challenge in a specific case. Only a minority of surveillance requests are rejected, said G.K. Pillai, former home secretary.
The federal government alone was approving as many as 9,000 telephone interception requests a month in 2014, according to an official reply to the Software Freedom Law Center.
Shashi Tharoor, a member of Parliament who chairs the committee on information technology and belongs to the opposition Congress Party, said hacking is against the law in India, except if the government “invokes a national security exception, which, to my knowledge, they have not done.” Surveillance using a spyware tool like Pegasus “would be illegal unless those who have done it can demonstrate otherwise.”
— Michael Safi of the Guardian contributed to this report.
— The Pegasus Project is a collaborative investigation that involves more than 80 journalists from 17 news organizations coordinated by Forbidden Stories with the technical support of Amnesty International’s Security Lab. Read more about this project.

#BigStory: Sushant Singh Rajput case, a complete look | Hindi Movie News

#BigStory: Sushant Singh Rajput case, a complete look | Hindi Movie News
The Sushant Singh Rajput case has taken on the dimensions of an epic melodrama that keeps shedding peels to reveal newer perspectives and angles. Even as Bollywood dodges stray projectiles fired from this endless musket pouch, the nature of the dragon is such that there seems to be no slaying it.
However, the scene now finally seems all set for the denouement, with the forensic team of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) having submitted its report to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The team submitted its analysis of the post-mortem, autopsy and viscera reports, along with other photographic evidence gathered by the Mumbai police during their investigation. The CBI has confirmed that the AIIMS team has submitted their ‘conclusive findings’ , which will be reviewed before the federal agency concludes whether Rajput’s death was a suicide or a murder.
Many angles and conspiracy theories emerged over the last few months since Sushant died. Amidst the genuine shock, dismay and outpouring of emotion, the several unlikely twists this case has taken have left most people despairing and disbelieving. Suicide turned to murder, to pre-meditated politicised slaughter, to connections to drug cartels, taking in its long tail some of the mightiest of the film industry. The NCB joined the probe that had been handed over to the CBI amidst much fanfare. The anti-drugs agency has since taken Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty among many others into custody. Images of a stunned Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor entering the NCB portal over ‘maal’ charges and leaving minus their lifeline cellphones held television audiences captive for several days.
As the CBI, NCB and the ED continue to investigate ‘all angles’ in this death case, the late actor’s family and fans have continued their relentless campaign demanding speedy justice.
Where are we really with this case? How will it pan out and when will all this end? Even as we ask these questions daily, let us take a look at the timeline of how events unfolded since SSR’s death to understand the whole picture since that tragic Sunday!
Jun 14: Sushant Singh Rajput found dead in Mumbai home Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging from the ceiling of his Bandra apartment in Mumbai. The actor’s body was taken to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem. The Mumbai Police later registered a case of ‘accidental death’. The last rites of the actor were performed on June 15, in the presence of his family and a few close friends.

Sept 8: NCB takes Rhea Chakraborty under judicial custody in drug case Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act’s sections 8(c) (sale, possession or manufacture of banned drugs), 20(b)(ii)(possession or use of a small quantity of banned drugs) and other relevant provisions. The arrest came after a 3-day interrogation by the central agency. The NCB produced Chakraborty before a magistrate’s court, where she was remanded to 14-day judicial custody.
October 3: AIIMS dismisses theories of murder AIIMS panel, in its report to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), ruled out the theories of poisoning and strangling floated by Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and lawyer. The CBI will now be probing into the original charge of ‘abetment to suicide’ that was listed by the Bihar police.
We spoke to senior lawyers to give us a sense of where they see the case going and their personal perspective on the case. All depends on the CBI report Senior lawyer Rizwan Merchant says, “It all depends on the final report of CBI. They haven’t released or shared any progress in investigations with the court, and therefore it is neither possible nor fair to speculate. Reports being claimed to have been shared with selective media channels and flashed on the public domain are consequently thoroughly unreliable.”
As of today, it remains a case of suicide Legal expert Majeed Memom says, “Initially, those who stood with Sushant’s family alleged that Mumbai police were not investigating the case satisfactorily and were trying to shield some important people. Allegations of similar nature were also hurled at Aghadi Govt. The whole episode became a political battlefield when Bihar DGP and Bihar police registered another CR and started a parallel investigation. Through SC the order of handing over the investigation to CBI was obtained and CBI took over the case. CBI has been working on it for over a month now but to date not required evidence has surfaced to term the case as ‘homicidal death’. As of today, it remains a case of suicide. Now the deceased family has lost faith in CBI too. The cause of concern is the overplay of the whole case by media and pro and anti-Sushant camp. In any case, everyone is anxious to know the whole truth in the matter without any further delay.”
This is a case of circumstantial evidence Hitesh Jain says, “We should get some idea about the investigation once there is some word from AIIMS as regards the post-mortem report. AIIMS report will indicate and throw some light on the cause of death. This is a case of circumstantial evidence and CBI has to establish the chain of events
Process of law should not be used to serve vested interests Abha Singh says, “CBI has not come up with anything substantial in more than 40 days. Sushant’s case was a case of Suicide and to say it’s murder is too far fetched. ED could find no money trail to Rhea Chakraborty’s account as was alleged by Sushant’s father in the FIR registered in Bihar. False narratives run by Channels for TRP has clearly shown than TV is no longer to be relied upon to know the truth. Till Bihar elections, the case will drag on. CBI will disclose its findings after that. Why Sushant’s family made such accusations on Rhea need to be investigated in real earnest. The process of law should not be used to serve vested interests.”
She went on to add, “The NCB was set up with a mandate to check international drug movement, big syndicates but it’s going after small-time users with no recovery but only on WhatsApp chats put the agency in very bad light.”

Recently, her office in Mumbai was demolished for alleged illegal construction. As she continues to use her Twitter profile to make startling statements, she engaged in war of words with Anurag Kashyap.
On Thursday, she wrote, "I am a warrior. I can cut my head, but I cannot bow my head! I will always raise my voice for the honour of the nation. I live with honor, respect, self-respect and will live proudly as a nationalist. I will never compromise with the principle, I will never do it! Jai Hind."

Seeing her tweet, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap did not hold back and responded to it, "You are only one - only Manikarnika. You take four to five people with you and go beat China. Look how they have penetrated our country. Show them that as long as you are here, no one can touch this country. It is just one day's journey from your house to LAC (Line of Actual Control). Go lioness. Jai Hind."
https://t.co/PZA6EFSKQj

He referred to the current tensions between India and China.
Kangana replied, "Okay, I'll go to the border and you go for the Olympics. The country wants gold medals ha ha ha. It is not a B grade film where an artist can become anything. You started taking the metaphor literally. When did you become so dumb? When we were friends, you were quite clever."
— Kangana Ranaut (@KanganaTeam) September 17, 2020
To which, Anurag said, "Your life is a metaphor, sister. Everything said until now is also a metaphor. Every charge you made is now a metaphor. You've made so many metaphors on Twitter that the public has started calling the unemployment generator as your dialogue writer. Nobody knows better than me how well you improvise."
https://t.co/1ibyhRfhks
— Anurag Kashyap (@anuragkashyap72) September 17, 2020
She lastly ended the conversation by saying, "Oh!! I see you having an embarrassing meltdown here, hardly making any sense, anyway don’t want to make it worse, I step back, don’t feel bad friend please have hot haldi milk and go to sleep, tomorrow is a new day."

Sushant Singh Rajput’s father: ‘My son was a special soul, achieved so much in 34 years’ - bollywood
https://liveindiatimes.com/sushant-singh-rajputs-father-my-son-was-a-special-soul-achieved-so-much-in-34-years-bollywood/
Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh remembered the actor as a ‘special soul and a self-made man’ in an interview. The actor, who delivered memorable performances in films such as MS Dhoni biopic and Chhichhore, died at the age of 34 on June 14.
Asked about how Sushant decided to pursue TV and films, his father said, “He left for Mumbai without telling me. He spoke to his eldest sister Neetu and left to follow his dreams. He was afraid that I might ask him to complete his studies. He got work in a serial soon after.”
He spoke how Sushant wanted to achieve everything based on merit. “My son was a self-made man. He said I would get ahead based on merit. What happened in the end, I don’t know,” he said.

He said his daughters spoke to him about how passionate Sushant was about acting. “My daughters told me to let him pursue his dreams. He had a passion for this. Sushant was sincere but never rigid. Wo duniyadari se dur tha, apne vyaktitav ka pakka tha. Whenever he was afraid I would not give him permission, he would speak to his eldest sister.” His father went on to add that he never pressurised Sushant or curtailed his freedom in any way.
He said he himself preferred a simple life away from Mumbai and films. “Sushant came home after he got Pavitra Rishta. I was very happy,” he said.
Calling the actor a ‘special soul’ he said, “He was born after so many prayers. Mannat se jo manga jaata hai, wo aisa hi hota hai. Wo vishesh aatma tha. He achieved so much in just a few years, he was a special soul. People cannot achieve so much in a lifetime.”
Sushant Singh Rajput died at his residence in Mumbai. His detailed post-mortem report has confirmed that he died by “asphyxia due to hanging.” The report was analysed by a team of five doctors. Police are now awaiting the viscera report. So far, statements of 23 people have been recorded by Mumbai Police.

Is The World Well Dressed But Depressed?
According to data by World Health Organisation(WHO), almost 8,00,000 people die due to suicide every year, which is 1 person every 40 seconds and the survey further depicts that India and China account for 40% or more of the annual suicide deaths globally. This topic of mental health raised as yet again a pall of gloom descended on all of us, the demise of Bollywood celebrity Sushant Singh Rajput left the entire world to open their eyes and talk about mental illness. Although we don’t have direct access to the inner workings of the mind of someone who has passed away, there is much evidence that the thought processes are often gravely disordered by the effects of trauma, mental health conditions, and substance abuse. Talking about mental illness for some, the high-end fashion industry can be highly stressful, competitive, and critical. Most models of the Indian fashion industry and famous fashion designers of India are portrayed as the “tortured artists”, someone who adorns and creates dark clothing. It emphasizes on appearance, the fashion industry in India heavily focuses on appearance, and it has further created stereotypes of its own. The fashion industry in India is known as a fast-paced, high-end fashion world full of glamour and glitz. Thus, the question arises; what happens when the runway goes dark? I Knock Fashion understands that if a person can’t think rationally due to impairment of the mind, the decision clearly is not a choice, keeping that in mind today we are here to talk about what exactly happens when the spotlight fades.
“The Pressure Of Production”
The fast-paced, high-end fashion nature could be one of the numerous contributing factors to the higher-than-average amount of mental health disorders among people associated with the fashion industry in India. Earlier, the time between seasons or collections used to be around 6 months, now with globalization, a fashion cycle lasts only around 3 weeks. The reason behind this decreased duration between collections is mostly due to the high-end fashion and fast fashion cycle. The well-celebrated fast fashion brands like H&M and Forever21 are constantly mass-producing clothing in economically developing countries or underdeveloped countries to keep the production cheap and ensuring they end up with quantity over quality. The famous fashion designers of India who create high-end fashion or couture take more time to design and produce their collections because somewhere they preach quality above quantity. It’s not that easy as said, these famous fashion designers of India and across the world are always in this constant pressure of production. The high pressure, expectation, and an impractical workload all together turn out to be a deadly combination further leading to destruction, causing numerous famous fashion designer of India to fear to say no to a project, considering it to be a sign of weakness and missing out on an opportunity. All these factors further lead them to misuse drugs and alcohol and develop mental health disorders. As the scientist states, creative people tend to constantly think more about fine details, making connections, and replaying images and scenes in their head. Although musing can facilitate people to create and produce original work, musing in all aspects of life can be damaging to a person’s mental health. Going over precisely fine details in every aspect of life can lead to feelings of depression.
Finding Comfort In Drugs & Alcohol
As the fashion industry in India is constantly pressurizing the designers to create, it further develops mental health disorders. To become famous, fashion designers of India and models of the Indian fashion industry might also start indulging themselves in finding comfort in drugs and alcohol. Numerous models of the India fashion industry and the outer world have sought treatment for addiction at rehab facilities, they say running with stylist and fashion people they would spend nights drinking, partying, and socializing for better connections in the Industry. Although some people from the fashion industry in India find pressure as an essential aspect to be more productive, the rest don’t find the pressure to be enjoyable or productive. In fact, they consider it to be damaging to their mental health. The saying “one day you’re in and the next you’re out”, is apt when it comes to the fashion industry as this constant greed to create out of the box collections, leads to depression and once you stop creating, you’re forgotten.
Depression & Designers
Especially in India treating depression has typically been unfamiliar territory for the society. In the country, people don’t really get what depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts can feel like until they themselves are sailing through it. While it may appear that people committing suicide are not taking into consideration the impact that their death will have on loved ones, there is much evidence on the contrary. The mind of a person with suicidal ideation is distorted and often holds the belief that he/she will be lessening their burden on loved ones by no longer being around. Below mentioned are some of the tragic demises from the fashion industry.
⁃ Kate Spade was found in her Manhattan apartment hanging from a scarf, it was stated by her sister that she had been suffering from her mental health for years.
⁃ In 2014, designer L’wren Scott was found dead in her Apartment. She as well suffered from depression for years, there was a three-year scholarship fund announced in Scott’s name for fashion students at the London-based design school, Central Saint Martins.
⁃ A top model and former Miss Mauritius, Viveka Babajee, took her life in her Bandra apartment.
⁃ In 2010, Alexander McQueen’s attempted suicide, and it was said that he did a lot of drugs and was very unhappy.
⁃ Isabella Blow after a lifetime of struggling with mental health disorders ingested a weed killer during a house party.
Fashion Students Not Finding Safe Space For Experiments
Creating an out of the box fashion cycle typically involves the need for experimentation, it is a process that is time-intensive, laborious, and often mentally draining. Each fashion designer or student must, therefore, figure out their preferred learning environment. The fear of failure must be decreased among the industry, as this pressure can result in hard-to-attain expectations on oneself, leading to a self-destructive outcome on one’s mental health.
The Internship Hustle
As the fashion students move out of college applying for jobs after graduation this leads to another pressure. Interning while graduating is an important aspect today in the world of fashion, which leads to further pressure of dedicating yourself to that fully as well as going to school.
Fashion Influencers & Depression
In the past few years, people have been obsessing over social media and mainly influencers. Their rapidly growing fashion-focused Instagram accounts, as soon as it gains attention, that’s all they can think about. No matter if they are making money from it or not, they keep wondering if their followers like their pictures. They start putting too much weight into who is following or viewing their accounts. It’s been observed that social media overrules them to such an extent that they actually worry about how a post is performing online instead of working on themselves in real life. This pressure of making a brand of themselves on social media leads to anxiety and further depression. This is the reason some of the upcoming influencers decided to quit Instagram, as this stress of coming up with perfect content all the time actually makes them feel pressurized and stressed.
The Show Must Be Paused
The question is how many tragedies must occur before people in fashion address the pressure that the industry prolongs?
There’s no denial in stating that the pressure begins as early as fashion or design school. In the past few years, the fashion students have reported that instructors made them feel guilty if they weren’t creating, producing, or working constantly 24*7. This is the major reason that fashion student suicide rates and mental health disorders are increasing. According to a speculated report employees in creative careers like fashion are 25% more likely to experience and develop mental health disorders. The fashion models, designers, and other professionals in the fashion industry are usually subjugated to long working hours and high-stress to meet demanding production deadlines.
Mental Health Issue Should No Longer Be Escaped
The increasing suicides among the fashion industry have led to the unveiling of the unpublicized history of depression, anxiety, and insomnia. The student suicide rates and mental health issues within the fashion industry are also on the rise. It’s high time that there should be discussions taking place for how much pressure is already apparent in the industry. The industry is highly competitive and designers, models, and fashion journalists are in constant competition. This new era of fashion influencers is also responsible for increasing the competition and stress for creating out of the box content. Although few initiatives are already being taken to create a safer working environment in the industry, such as Model’s Health Pledge which looks forward to supporting the fashion model’s mental health. There’s a charter by Kering and LVMH that bans ultra-thin fashion models from marketing and runways to ensure their well-being.
I Knock Fashion Desk (Conclusion)
It’s a fact, designers and models involved in fashion have also been known for developing mental health disorders. According to you what could be the exact reason behind it?
The problem could be that creative people such as designers are more vulnerable to depression due to musing. Science says that the people who are less creative are more likely to accept what they are told by authorities and look at situations in simpler terms. The people who are full of creativity view the world more complexly. This highly competitive and critical industry of fashion can be too much for some, but this can be turned around. The fashion designers can choose to skip the world of fashion in a less tragic way, with a proper medication of course. This high-end fashion cycle can be skipped by moving from fast fashion production to only couture. The fashion designers can make their own personal rules of showcasing and releasing collections, they can present their collections only when they feel that it’s complete. And as quoted by Scottish fashion designer, Christopher Kane, “Fashion lies not in the pace of producing collections but in an alliance between the creative and commercial cannons”.
The fashion cycle should be redefined and there should be less hustling on unrealistic expectations, the world needs to understand how damaging these expectations can be. Every designer and fashion student should be able to work in a healthy environment and not feel pressured to create and produce. What are your feelings about the same?
Do let us know in the comment section and stay tuned with I Knock Fashion for further fashion and beauty related updates.

Riya Chakraborty is plotting to bring the Mumbai police back to the case. Rhea chakraborty brings back the mumbai police: presentation of a case about sushant’s sister | Khatrimazak
http:///img/2020/09/mumbai-police-commissioner-1599502117.jpg
Help in the case of Disha Salian
It is worth noting that immediately after the Supreme Court gave the Mumbai Police 3 days before transferring the case to the IWC, the Mumbai Police issued a press release and sought information from individuals about the case. Disha Salian. From the beginning, the Disha case was linked to the Sushant case and the panic of the Mumbai police increased people’s suspicions.
Someone came
Republic TV released some videos of people coming to their building even after Sushant’s death. A boy was seen carrying a black bag from Sushant’s room and a girl was seen entering the building who was later described as a special friend of Riya’s brother, Shouvik. But why so many people came, the Mumbai police had no answer.
Distance from bed and ceiling
The biggest question that has been asked many times is the sealing distance from the bed, which is only an inch more than Sushant’s height. In trying to clarify this theory, the Mumbai police had clarified that although there was not much difference between the height of the bed and the ceiling and the height of Sushant, the fan was not in the middle. Sushant swung to the side of the bed making a loop. But at this moment no one could believe it.
Riya’s truth in eight hours.
Mumbai police interrogated Riya Chakraborty for 8 hours, but 15 million rupees did not appear in this interrogation, which is mentioned by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father in his FIR. While the suicide investigation was being conducted, the money should have been questioned first.
Why did you write a statement in Marathi?
Sushant’s family recently said that the statement made to him by the Mumbai police was written in Marathi. Which is not the language of any of them. But the police forcefully signed this statement. If someone did not understand the statement, why did the Mumbai police sign it?
Truth of the leaked video
Video was leaked after police arrived at Sushant’s room. In this video, Sushant’s body is covered with a sheet and the police are seen saying that if this video leaks, the investigation will be destroyed. This video was constantly questioned.
Sore mark
Arnab Goswami asked another direct question on his show about Sushant Singh Rajput’s neck scar. He said experts say this brand is not the type of fabric they have been told to hang up on. It is sometimes called staged suicide. But how did the police make a statement in 15 minutes on June 14 that instead of conducting an investigation from this side, Sushant Singh Rajput took his own life by suicide?
Riya revocation statement
Riya Chakraborty tweeted a month after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and demanded a CBI investigation into the matter. But then Riya Chakraborty appeared in the Supreme Court demanding the transfer of this case from Patna to Mumbai. Mumbai Police have been seen to be assisting Riya continuously in this case.
Mumbai Police Pressure on Family
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father’s lawyer says the Mumbai police have continually pressured the family to name some big production companies in this case. Did the police really want to stop this investigation and stop it extending it for some time?
65 review days
Interestingly, despite the fact that so many facts came out, the Mumbai police kept their theory of suicide and despite questioning so many people in almost 65 days, the Mumbai police did not register any FIRs, after which the case was transferred. to CBI.

Exclusive! Sandip Ssingh: I stood with my friend Sushant Singh Rajput’s family unlike others who chose to stay indoors. That is not a crime! | Hindi Movie News
New Post has been published on https://jordarnews.in/exclusive-sandip-ssingh-i-stood-with-my-friend-sushant-singh-rajputs-family-unlike-others-who-chose-to-stay-indoors-that-is-not-a-crime-hindi-movie-news/
Exclusive! Sandip Ssingh: I stood with my friend Sushant Singh Rajput’s family unlike others who chose to stay indoors. That is not a crime! | Hindi Movie News
Taking off from our last conversation (published on June 28/29), you had said that Sushant and you go back a long time. You even went and visited his father in Patna. However, after that, the narrative has changed. His family has come forth and said that they don’t know you. Most people have not bought the point that you and Sushant were close friends. What is the truth? Sushant was a popular TV star. We met in 2011 and I had offered him the show ‘Saraswatichandra’. He said he does not want to do shows and wants to get into movies. I liked his honesty and he liked the fact that I told him to focus on making a career in films. That is how we became friends. We travelled together, we had meals together and several of them over the years. But there was no occasion in his family where he took me and introduced me to his folks. There was never a time when they were down in Mumbai and he introduced me to them. We had never been introduced, so how will they know me? Is it necessary that if we are friends with a star, their entire family has to know us? I just want to say — my friendship was deep, and it dates back years. People have been questioning it so badly that I was forced to put out my private chats with Sushant on social media, to just tell people that we were friends. My silence has been misconstrued as my weakness; people have pointed too many fingers at my family and at me. I didn’t want to put up with it anymore. Hence, I am breaking my silence. I thought shayad kuch din mein yeh sab rukega, lekin log thamne ka naam nahi le rahe…Main bheed ka hissa banne gaya tha Sushant ke ghar. No one had personally called and told me that he’s no more. I also saw it on TV, then, Mahesh Shetty and I travelled together over there in my car. I thought many people, including his friends from the industry will come. It was just Mahesh and me. If I saw a sister alone in this situation, when the family was scattered all over, should I have thought of my career, my body language, how I look or how I gesture someone with a thumbs-up? Should I have fled from the scene? What wrong did I do by helping a family that was grieving a severe loss? I don’t know them, and they don’t know me, but is that a crime? Is that important? Main to uss maiyyat mein bhi kaandha deta hoon jisko main nahi jaanta, yeh to mera yaar tha… I don’t understand what is the problem if I arranged for his funeral and took on responsibilities while his family was away? Are we now implying that if we see someone in trouble, we should scoot, because trying to help someone can land us in trouble? Insaniyat ki nahi, kamzori aur buzdili ki haar honi chahiye.
In the last 20 days, you were captured on a news channel dodging the camera crew and fleeing the scene in a car. It was also said that you wanted to leave this country for good. News channels were chasing you and you kept yourself away from everyone. Your colleague, Shekhar Suman even said that if you are honest, you must not hide… When did I try to run away? I spoke to you right after his funeral. Even before the family could speak, I spoke to the press openly about as much as I could. Even before debates happened. Main kahan bhaaga bhai? If I had done something wrong, I would not have spoken out. I am a filmmaker, and I have a zillion other things to attend to apart from giving media bytes. The times are such that people are unwell, friends have been facing troubles on the health front, I have responsibilities to tend to. I was asked for interviews, I gave them. But eventually, people started accusing me, people started questioning everything I had said, usko todke marodke uske meanings nikaalne shuru ho gaye… Am I here to answer every Tom, Dick and Harry on what they think of how I sat in the car, how I looked at them…News without proof is being shown on TV. It seems the ED had summoned me. Who has seen the summon? Where is it? I just helped his sister who was alone tending to paperwork in the city. The police and the ED would have called me if they had found something to question me over. I stood with the family through thick and thin for three days. There are visuals of that, and people are busy questioning me about it? Gunehgar maan liya mujhe? Show me another person who did what I did for his family? I was shocked that no one from the industry showed up at his house or at the hospital. Some people came to the funeral. People have been targeting me to get TRPs, views, likes, followers.
After your interview, Rhea Chakraborty, Samuel Haokip and several others have stepped forward to say that Sushant never mentioned you to them in the time that they were with him. In one and a half years, I was busy making films and so was he. He had his projects that kept him occupied, I had my own production ventures to look into. The PM Modi biopic required a lot of effort and my 100 per cent focus. Friends go out of touch when they have work. Are you perpetually talking to the same set of friends who you were with in class 10 or in college? Are you regularly in touch with everyone? Perhaps, no! Practically, it’s not possible. Just because we had not been in touch for a year or more, and he had not told me things, should I not have gone to his house when I learnt of his demise? Should I have forgotten our good old days and thought about…log kya kahenge? Police pooch taach karegi? Should I have chickened out thinking about social media pressures? Should I have rehearsed my body-language and other things before going there? I kept quiet to see how far people go!
Why did you wait for so long to address the allegations against you? I spoke, didn’t I on the last two occasions? Main sehm gaya! My friends, mom and family reprimanded me for being there for Sushant’s family. They said, “You have made a mistake by going there. You should not have gone there. Tune to aa bail mujhe maar wala kaam kar diya. Baaki industrywale, his friends are intelligent, but you are an emotional fool to go and help.’ I got scared, darr gaya main. I want to make films and I have a career ahead. So, I became quiet. But for the last 20 days, there are media people with cameras outside my building, as if I am some fugitive. I am trying to lead a normal life, I continued with my movements, but people have crossed their limits. They are showing footages of my car and asking …main kahan bhaag raha hoon! Kahan bhaag raha hoon, batao?
But speculations are that you were planning to flee the country… Am I some most wanted criminal, some sort of a fugitive that I will run away from here? I have given 20 years to this industry. I have studied in a Hindi medium school, I have sold ice-creams before becoming a journalist, a company CEO and eventually, an independent producer. Mira Road mein raha, CEO ki naukri ki to learn filmmaking because I did not have the resources to go and formally learn it. Uske baad, I have worked on my own and started my company and made four modest films on my own steam. Should I let it all go? Why should I? Why should I flee the country? I stood with my friend’s family, unlike others who chose to stay indoors. That is not a crime!
The ambulance driver has been in the news for being in constant contact with you. Your CDR has been accessed and now he is being questioned by the CBI… Meri toh izzat tak ko nahi baksha gaya! When people started writing nonsense about my mother is when I could not take it and I decided to speak up. Social media has been so unkind. I am breaking my silence because of that. Did anyone ever think that mujhpe aur Mahesh Shetty pe kya guzri hogi? People who didn’t know him, and, are not his friends or associates are screaming on national debates that I should be arrested. My question is for what?
You were handling all the procedures around his funeral, and out of the blue people saw you there. Since then, people have gone from calling it a PR activity to raising suspicion over your role in his life and his sudden demise. It’s said that after the ambulance driver, it’s your turn with the CBI… Please tell me, when have I not made myself available to any officer from any department to answer their questions? I am ready to face anyone to get justice for Sushant. I was demanding a CBI probe in my interviews. A parallel media trial is working like it’s above the Supreme Court and the CBI. I am ready to face the CBI. Why not! I have already gone through a round of questioning. I cannot disclose the conversation, but they have been asking all the questions that people have been asking me anyway and I have not hidden a thing from them.
You are also being connected with Disha Salian’s death… My last chat with her happened in 2017. She had come to my office – as a cornerstone employee – to discuss a project for an actor she was representing. The meeting was coordinated by my office staff. Then, I heard she has died by suicide on June 9. That is all.
When was the last time you spoke with Sushant? It was a normal chat, 1.5 years ago before I started making the PM Modi biopic. Yes, we used to chat on messages a lot prior to that. Even Vande Bharatam was being planned around that time.
With the drugs angle and the mental health angles being probed, did you know that Sushant consumed any substances or that he had a mental health issue? We had a respectful friendship. He never did such things in front of me. If he did anything behind my back, I wouldn’t know. The Sushant I saw and knew was a sharp, intelligent actor, a great dancer, writer, reader and someone who enjoyed learning new things. If you read our chats, you would know that we met over meals, not drinks. That was not the tonality of what we shared.
Now, in hindsight, was the silence worth it? If you ever step into my shoes you will know how it feels to keep hearing one allegation after another and to digest it before another one comes flying at you. Today, I do feel that maybe going and standing with the family was wrong. Maybe, I should have acted selfish and not gone there to stand with them in their time of need.

The untimely passing of Sushant Singh Rajput has sent shockwaves across the nation. It has also shifted the focus on existing nepotism debate in the industry and how camps often give support to the star kids over outsiders. Many reports have suggested that the actor lost out on many projects. This has also led to a case being filed against big names in the industry.
In the latest update, Sushant Singh Rajput was offered four films by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. According to a source, “Many people in the industry are expressing their grief and not many know that both Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were quite fond of each other as well as their work. In fact, not once but four times working together was on the cards for them, SLB had offered him 4 films, but due to date issues, things didn’t materialise.”
The source further revealed that Sushant and Bhansali’s equation was strong since the actor even took a stand for the filmmaker during Padmaavat controversy. “As far as their equation is concerned, Sushant had taken quite a strong stand for SLB when the director was attacked in Jaipur and while Sushant condemned the violence he also dropped his surname ‘Rajput’ to show support to the filmmaker.”
Ekta Kapoor, who launched Sushant as a lead actor in Pavitra Rishta, had a lot of admiration for the actor. “And not just SLB, but even Ekta Kapoor and Sushant had lots of mutual admiration for each other. Ekta was not just his close friend, but also a huge admirer of his craft, in fact, she has time and again praised Sushant for his talent and had offered him several projects.”
A case has been filed against Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Ekta Kapoor. Advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha has filed a complaint under Sections 306, 109, 504 & 506 of IPC in connection with the actor's death in a court in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur. The advocate has alleged that Sushant was ousted from seven films and that some projects did not even release. He’s alleged that these situations forced him to take the extreme step. The case was filed after Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam claimed that Sushant lost seven films in a span of six months.
