HEAD CANNON STORY:
How Curly Bill and Johnny Ringo Would Comfort You if You Were Sad...In Progress
Tumblr media
We all have our good days and our bad days. Sometimes people can cheer us up and other times, we just need to be alone. A cowboy's life is a lonely one and so these guys understand what a bad day feels like. Wandering around the Arizona desert does things to a man and he learns how to survive and tough the bad days out. So when you're very sad and feel hurt, lost or confused, how would the King of the Cowboys show you comfort?
Curly Bill:
Curly is a man who is usually receiving comfort more than he's giving it so offering you a safe place to fall is something he desperately wants to do, but he wouldn't know where to start. Curly isn't exactly the softest guy around so when it comes to you, he will probably feel a little helpless at first not knowing what to say. If you fall into his arms while you're crying, it will make him feel wonderful. He'll indulge in feeling your trembling body close to his. He'll rub your soft hair and love how your hair always smells good. He may look into your teary eyes and wipe them with his big, clumsy hands. His first instinct is going to be trying to fix your problem. He may not listen as intently as Ringo would; Curly Bill would want you to feel better as soon as possible so you can start having fun with him. Curly isn't a guy to hold onto things or really hold grudges, so if you're not feeling better quickly, the old cowboy may become frustrated that he can't help you. If you need him to hold you, he'll be happy to do so as long as he thinks he's helping you feel better and that you'll be smiling soon. Remember that this old rustler isn't the most patient man around so he'll need to know that he's helping and more than that, that you appreciate it. He may expect you to show your appreciation too. He's a cowboy, a man's man and a tough guy. Of you want a sentimental junkie, don't look to old Curly. If his friends are present while you have your head on his chest, he'll feel mighty important and enjoy watching his friends eyeing him enviously. Ahhh....to hold you while you're sad would be a treat for any of the Cowboys. If Curly makes a joke that gets you laughing, hell keep going to make you laugh more. He may even start tickling you or kissing your neck since he knows his thick dark mustache tickles you and it is just to get you to smile and maybe squeal a bit. Once he knows what makes you smile, he'll keep doing it. Seeing you smile and knowing that he's the one that put that smile on your face, he'll feel like he can do anything! Other ways Curly Bill would comfort you includes singing softly in your ear, showing off with his six shooters, picking you up and holding you tight, he may make a funny face or make his eyes crossed just to humor you. Curly Bill wants to comfort you partly because he genuinely cares about you and also because he's a bit impatient and wants to have fun with you. Not to say he's in an insensitive ass, but he's just not the best at making people feel better. Who does Curly Bill have to cheer up other than a bunch of surly men who stink most of the time. He'll delight in knowing he made you smile. If Curly Bill is in town and he knows you're still feeling sad, he'll pick up chocolates for you and pick wildflowers to brighten the smile he loves so much! For Curly Bill, he wants to get back to fun so his approach would be all about making you feel better as soon as possible!
Johnny Ringo:
Tumblr media
Unlike Curly Bill, who wants to make you happy quickly due to his impatient spirit, Johnny Ringo would be more patient with you. Of course he would want to make you laugh and smile, but his approach would be more sensitive and Ringo's focus would be more on your feelings and not how your sadness is preventing him from enjoying you. If you lay your head on Ringo's chest while you're crying, he'll consider it a tremendous privilege. He'll pull a handkerchief from his pocket and wipe your tears. He may not say much, for Johnny Ringo, his silence doesn't mean he's not experiencing deep feeling; seeing you sad causes him to examine his own heart and his own sadness and it will give him the motivation to be as patient as possible. Unlike his bestie, Curly, Ringo is not going to start cracking jokes or acting silly to get you to feel better as soon as possible.. Johnny would go into town and purchase a book on a topic he knows you enjoy. He may also buy sweets such as chocolates or a pastry. Ringo doesn't need you to feel better quickly so he's patient and just enjoys having you lay your head on his chest or fall into his arms and hold him and let him comfort you. He loves that! Other ways Ringo could offer a safe place to fall would be slow dancing with you and moving to soft music, running his fingers through your hair, rubbing your shoulders or caressing your face or arms, reading poetry, telling you stories about him and Curly Bill and taking you to town and indulging in coffee and a doughnut. Johnny Ringo will do whatever it takes to make you feel better because seeing you sad is something he just can't stand. You're so sweet though him that he wants to see you smiling.

Like Brian, I imagine Paul gradually becoming more protective over John. Especially when he starts to develop deeper feelings for him.
Suddenly, seeing John split roasted by Ringo and George irritates him. When it’s his turn to fuck John, he refuses to share him, wanting his pretty boy all to himself. Maybe Paul even becomes more gentle. He’s rough, but he doesn’t bite and smack John’s ass the whole time like George does. It feels a lot more sweet and loving.
Awww, I love this! 🥰 I always enjoy scenarios where sex comes first and feelings come later. Paul would have been just as rough as Ringo and George at the beginning, but maybe he notices the way Johnny responds to praise, as well as how he reacts when Brian takes a gentler approach to him. Suddenly Paul is trying to keep Johnny all to himself, fucking him in private but also kissing him, sucking him, actually pleasuring Johnny and treating him like a lover instead of a toy. Johnny would be so confused, he doesn’t think of him as someone who’s worthy of this kind of love and affection, and I think he’d be scared that Paul will realize he’s no good and leave him completely alone. They’d eventually have a very heartfelt and weepy conversation where Paul tells Johnny how much he loves him, how he doesn’t want to share him, and that he only wants to do things that make John happy. 🥰🥰🥰

Love of my Life (McLennon fanfic)
Remember that prompt I posted on here about Paul and the song “Love of my life”? Well I took matters in my own hand and I’ve actually written my first McLennon fic. So here you go. I hope this is any good. And once I’ve figured out how to get an AO3 account I will upload it there. For now enjoy, even though it’s depressing as hell - so be warned!!!
When Linda got back from school run on the 9thof December 1980, she found her husband on the couch in the living room, with Martha curled up at his feet. Linda had found it odd that Martha hadn’t come to greet her at the door like she usually would but a few weird things had already happened this morning so she didn’t question it too much. First her daughters had asked, completely out of the blue, whether uncle John would come to visit soon. Then when they actually arrived at school Linda had noticed that some of the other parents were looking at her strangely. Linda put that down to being a McCartney even though this kind of staring hadn’t happened in some time. The novelty of having the McCartney children in this school had worn off long ago. And now Martha didn’t wait for her at the door. But as soon as Linda’s eyes fell on her husband she understood their dog. Paul looked like he had seen a ghost. Staring into nothing with a haunted look on his face. Martha must have sensed that something was wrong with her owner and was trying to comfort him by being there.
“Love,” Linda said almost whispering, not wanting to scare Paul. He didn’t look like he even noticed that his wife had come home.
“Paul,” she tried again when he still didn’t react. This time she spoke a bit louder. This time he turned his head in her direction but his eyes didn’t look like they recognised what was happening around him. This scared Linda. She thought she had seen her husband at his worst. After The Beatles had broken up he had been depressed. Drinking as soon as he got out of bed, if he managed to get out of bed at all. Not showering, shaving or generally taking care of himself. Blaming himself for everything and having no confidence left. But this right now might be even worse, Linda concluded. Back then Linda had usually been able to get through to her husband. He would acknowledge her even if it was just to tell her that she didn’t understand how he felt and to ask where they kept more booze. Now Paul seemed to have forgotten that there were still things happening around him.
Trying to get some sort of reaction out of her husband, Linda sat down next to him. Martha looked at her before she started whining and nudging Paul’s foot with her head. It was as though she was telling Linda to please do something. So in an attempt to get Paul out of his reverie Linda turned on the TV, not expecting to see what she saw next. Every headline screamed the same.
“John Lennon shot dead outside his New York apartment”
This is when there was finally some movement happening next to Linda. Paul snatched the remote control from her hands, turned off the offending machine and then curled up into a ball. He closed his eyes as though he could make the headlines and pictures in his head vanish like this.
Linda didn’t know what to think. How could this happen? Why John? What should she do now? Her husband didn’t look like he knew what to do either. Who could blame him though? This was John. His John! She had seen them together. At their best when she was just a fan, at their worst when she was present in the studio during Let it Be, when it got bitchy in the early seventies, and finally when they got it back together just a few years ago. This was not supposed to happen.
While Linda was still lost in her thoughts, he husband got up and shuffled into the music room, where he locked the door. Of course, Linda berated herself, of course her husband would need music. This was his way to connect with John, it had always been. Just to make sure that he wouldn’t do anything incredibly stupid, Linda got the spare key for the music room she had made during Paul’s post-Beatles depression and sat outside the room.
She didn’t want to spy on Paul but she had learned the hard way that he could do incredibly stupid things when he didn’t know how to handle his emotions anymore. That’s when she had the extra key made. So she could access the room in case of emergencies. She never went in without permission, unless Paul really left her no other choice. Like that time he got blind drunk, fell asleep and nearly choked on his own vomit. She would not risk that again. At least now she knew that Paul didn’t have any alcohol stored in there. But you never knew what the mind was capable of when in distress. And so Linda sat on the floor and listened to what her distraught husband was doing.
Inside Paul turned on the radio. He went to a station of which he knew that they played music only. He didn’t want to hear anymore news headlines about his best friend. The first few songs went by without Paul really noticing what he was listening to. It didn’t matter. He just didn’t want to think. But then he was suddenly struck by one song and he couldn’t hold back the sobs anymore. For the first time this morning Paul cried when he heard the opening bars to “Love of my Life” by Queen.
“Love of my life, you've hurt me
You've broken my heart
And now you leave me
Love of my life, can't you see?
Bring it back, bring it back
Don't take it away from me
Because you don't know
What it means to me”
“Why John? Why did you have to leave me? AGAIN!”, Paul cried out while listening to the song that just seemed to mock him. It’s just not fair. He had just gotten him back. Why did he have to leave again?
Outside the door Linda didn’t understand what had happened to make her husband break down like this. On one hand she was relieved because he had to stop bottling his emotions up, on the other hand she was concerned about what had led to this. He usually needed much more time. So she tried to listen more closely to determine what made Paul react like this and when she heard Freddie’s voice and understood what song was playing, everything fell into place.
“Love of my life, don't leave me
You've taken my love
You now desert me
Love of my life, can't you see?
Bring it back, bring it back
Don't take it away from me
Because you don't know
What it means to me
You will remember
When this is blown over
And everything's all by the way
When I grow older
I will be there at your side
To remind you
How I still love you
I still love you”
“I do Johnny. And I always will,”  Paul got out between sobs. “I love you so much and don’t you forget it.”
This is when Linda decided to use her key. She knew that Paul was not in mortal danger now, not like he had been then, but she had to be with Paul. She had to at least tell him that she knew. She had to tell him so he could talk to her about it. Because she was sure that no one else knew. She didn’t think they ever told anyone, not even George and Ringo. She didn’t know everything and she didn’t have to but she was sure that it would help Paul if he didn’t have to carry that secret anymore. Especially now.
“Back, hurry back
Please, bring it back home to me
Because you don't know
What it means to me
Love of my life
Love of my life”
“He really was, wasn’t he?”, she asked softly. This time Paul actually realized that she was there.
“Linda?”, he asked, his eyes wide with shock. “I… It’s not… We…”
“I know Paul. It’s alright. I know! And before you start, I know that you love me and I love you, too. But right now, it’s about John. And I know that,” Linda said, pulling her husband into her arms and rocking him slightly.
“Why did he leave me, Lin?”, Paul sobbed into her shoulder.
“I don’t know, honey. But he’ll be watching over you now. He’ll be with your mum and dad,” Linda said, hoping to offer some sort of comfort.
“I love him so much,” Paul went on as if he didn’t hear what Linda said. “Did he still love me? Did he still care for me as much as I care for him?”
“Oh he did, love. Haven’t you heard his last interview? He said that he would do anything for you and that he knew that you would do the same. And you know what they found in his hand, when they brought him to the hospital? It was his ‘I love Paul’ button. Remember that? He was clutching it as though it was a lifeline. He loved you so much Paul. You really were the love of his life.”

HEAD CANNON STORY: How Curly Bill and Johnny Ringo Would Deal With You Rejecting Them
Tumblr media
All people want to be accepted and nobody likes rejection. The bigger the ego, the harder the fall feels.
Curly Bill Brocious who has a sizeable ego of his own is not someone who will take being rejected well. So when you reject his advances and his attempts to get close to you, it's no surprise the big cowboy is not going to take it well....So how would Curly Bill and Johnny Ringo respond when you refuse their advances?
Do they feel heartbroken?
Are they angry?
How bruised are their egos?
Who takes it harder?
What do the people in town think and will your refusal hurt their reputations?
Curly Bill:
Anyone that knows who Curly Bill Brocious is knows he is a man with a sizeable ego and likes doing things to get the attention he so desperately craves. Whether he's walking into a church or a saloon, he has the same swagger about him and commands authority and if his presence isn't enough, he'll get others to comply just be showing off his marvelous skills with his firearms.
When Curly Bill meets you, he'll decide he wants you and may even be brazen enough to refer to you as his "girl." He'll tell his cowboys he's going to have you and although they chuckle at his admission, he dismisses their comments and finds that confidence he is so well known for. Although Brocious is a man who enjoys the affection he receives from prostitutes, the idea of seducing a real conquest and having her swoon is something the big rustler dreams about. While his gang are busy with the calico queens, he would be holding you in his arms, knowing you're there by choice and not because he's paying you. Now he would really feel like the "king," because he got the girl nobody else could get. He will talk about you to his friends, saying things like, "y/n just needs to get to know me. She'll warm up soon enough!" His cowboys will nod politely and wonder if their boss will be able to even get close to you to start a conversation. Since you're not a lady of the line, Curly can't wave money around and expect you to look his way.
At first, he asks around where you spend your time and who some of your friends are. He'll make sure to be close to you and follow you through town without you even knowing it. He's tracking your whereabouts so he knows where you'll be when he's ready to make his move.
After a few days of scouting around and watching you, the old cowboy can't take anymore and he's getting pressure from other rustlers to show them how he's going to "have you." His confidence isn't shaken. He stands his ground and moves toward one of the restaurants where you're enjoying a glass of wine with a few ladies.
He walks right in and all eyes are on him, including your friends. The only eyes he can't meet are yours! He coughs to get your attention and you look over at him, but look away before he even has a chance to remove his hat. He walks to the bar area where you are and you're still ignoring him. Since this doesn't usually happen, Curly Bill is feeling.... Nervous and can feel his confidence slipping a little. He regains his composure and sits at the other end of the bar, just watching you and almost getting lost in your beauty. He enjoys the chase a little, but there's a difference between being playing hard to get and simply not being interested and Curly is hoping it's the former.
He hears your sweet voice as you talk with your friends, but he can't quite make out what you're saying. He moves a little closer to you, hoping you'll finally notice him.
The barkeep walls over and Curly hopes when he begins chatting with the bartender that you'll hear his voice and look over so he can start laying the charm on you.
"Well, what can I get you, Mr. Brocious?" The barkeep asks. Curly Bill starts to feel important and waits a few moments for you to look at him...But you don't. You continue talking with your friends as if he's not even there.
"Well, howdy, barkeep!" Curly Bill says loudly. He'll assume you heard him, but you continue to behave in a way that suggests complete indifference and it is driving the old cowboy crazy. He can't get your attention no matter what he does. He will start racking his brain for ideas to get your attention. He thinks about shooting your friend's glass or shooting the flames off the candles, but then it would be obvious he's doing it in the hopes you'll look his way.
The bartender brings Brocious his drink just as some of the Cowboys wander in, wanting to see how their boss got you to swoon. Curly Bill takes a shot and points to his empty glass for more. He pretends he just got there when the Clanton's and McClaury's and a few others stood in the doorway. Curly Bill hears them chuckling and he suddenly becomes desperate to get you to look at him. Nervously, he walks over to you. You smile politely.
"Is there something you want?" You ask. Your eyes are so beautiful, it almost takes his breath away. Curly will struggle for an answer and feel embarrassed and stupid. He takes his hat off and starts for the exit. He leaves and feels like a complete idiot for making such a fool of himself.
Curly Bill can't curse you because he knows you're right to ignore him. He will feel ridiculous for even entertaining the idea that one of Tombstone's most desirable woman would give him the time of day. He can't blame you for ignoring him. He's been described as an "ugly gunslinger," and has a reputation of being a mean drunk. Perhaps you knew who he was and connected the dots when the barkeep called him by name. You figured it was the same Brocious who made a preacher dance a jig and held a party of people at gunpoint so they would strip and dance in the nude for his amusement. If you heard these stories, you'd be wise to make the big rustler earn your attention.
His friends hoot and howl as Curly Bill walks out of the hotel without you on his arm. They look at each other and chuckle and then look to their humiliated boss.
"What happened?" Tom McClaury asks. "I'm guessin you didn't put on the charm." Tom looks at some of the other cowboys and they snicker at each other.
"I don't understand..." Curly Bill begins. He holds his head in his hands and continues to question where he went wrong with you. He hates the fact that his gang is secretly laughing at him. He shouldn't have been so confident. He feels stupid for actually thinking he had a shot with you. He must have been drunk when he thought about it. He'll wonder if you'll ever notice him and he'll become consumed with jealousy everytime he sees any man talking with you. He sees how you notice them but not him. It pulls at the pit of his insides and makes him feel old and undesirable. Curly Bill feels old and being able to seduce a beautiful woman in an almost insurmountable conquest would put him back on top of his game and your refusal adds to his growing insecurities. Curly Bill will feel foolish more than anything else because the big cowboy bragged about being able to seduce you with no problem. The very thought of other men laughing at him behind his back is more than he can stand. Curly Bill strolls around the streets of Tombstone feeling like the biggest horse's ass...His brazen confidence made him a laughing stock and he'll do anything for you... Anything to change your mind... Curly Bill doesn't want to enter the Oriental for fear he'll be bombarded with questions he would hate to answer:
"Where is she?"
"So, is y/n your girl now?"
He goes to the Dead End saloon and drowns himself in whiskey and self pity. He gets so drunk thinking about you, he can barely mount his horse. He's desperate for sleep, but is worried about his nosey cowboys making jokes and laughing about it. To Curly Bill it wasn't a laughing matter. To be rejected and completely ignored by you is more frustrating than anything!
Curly Bill will wonder what you're doing while he's wallowing in booze and self pity. His mind may go places thinking about who you're with or who is getting your attention..
"Don't take it too hard, boss." Billy Clanton starts. "She's out of our range." That only adds to Curly's insecure heart.
"I would do anything to be with y/n. I'd work in a saloon cleanin out spittoons and sweeping the floor!" He growls in a drunken voice.
"You? Working not stealing?" Ike Clanton remarks. Curly Bill flashes him a scowl and Ike turns to his brother and shrugs.
"That's right!" Curly declares. "Anything to make her happy! She just needs to give me a chance. Then she'll see I'd do more than any other man around here! You think Behan would treat her right? Hell, he don't even care! Anyone can see y/n is a lady." Curly Bill will look around at bus gang before he finishes speaking. "A lady. She ain't no lady of the line, that's for damn sure."
"So, what makes you think you're good enough, Bill?" Ringo asks, feeling empathy for his best friend. Ringo would be downright devastated if you rejected him. But like Curly Bill he would understand that a woman like you deserves better than what they can offer. And that reality stings like a bee.
"I ain't!" Curly shouts back. "There ain't no man here good enough. I know I would do more than they would!"
"Oh really?" Frank McClaury asks, his usual condescending snicker that makes Curly want to slap the cowboy around.
At this point, Curly Bill stands up.
"Hell I would!" Curly Bill throws his empty whiskey bottle into the bonfire.
"None of you know nothing about it! I'd quit stealin and living in the dodge if that's what she wanted! Hell, I'd go to church!" At this point, his fellow rustlers start laughing.
"You?" Tom McClaury asks. "Quit stealin and start saying Amen every Sunday morning? You in church? Can't see that. I think you lost your head, boss."
Curly Bill heads to his tent for the night. He'll toss and turn and even feel strong emotions that tug at his heart. If he wins you over, he vows to do anything to make you happy. The redemption he would feel when he was able to charm you.
The following morning while Curly Bill and a few others are having their breakfast, they see you walk in and this time you're by yourself. You look forward and again do not notice the big cowboy. It seems certain that Curly has lost any chance with you and he sits there watching you talk to the waitress and he becomes so lost, he stares at you until his coffee is too cold to drink. As he slowly eats, the food has no taste, but he's hungry.
The cowboy gang pay their tab and stand up. You look over at Curly. He starts to take his hat off, but you look the other way. At the moment, nothing matters to him, but being with you and now that it seems he will never have you, you are more beautiful and desirable than ever. He feels he just has to win you over somehow.
Or just steal you.
Tumblr media
(Part 2 - Curly wins you over. Coming soon)
Johnny Ringo:
Tumblr media
When Johnny Ringo first sees you, it is when you are coming out of the small art gallery on the other side of Fremont Street. Johnny is cultured and sophisticated, but does not enter the shops in this part of Tombstone very often. Mostly because of the stares he will receive and the whispers he'll hear:
"That's Johnny Ringo...The deadliest pistoleer..."
"What is that outlaw doing here? Doesn't he know what street he belongs on?"
If Johnny were seen trying to converse with you whether inside the gallery or on the front porch, people would come up to you and ask, "don't you know who you are talking to? Stay away from Ringo! He's a thief and a killer!"
And they would be right. It wouldn't necessarily be people warning you about him, Ringo would become consumed with guilt and shame for allowing you to be in such a vulnerable situation. Nobody would believe he was just trying to make polite conversation. Ringo will wonder what kind of art is the in the gallery and what your tastes are. When Ringo was staying with his cousins, the Youngers, he recalled the lovely paintings that decorated the walls of the huge sitting room in the back of the Younger estate. Johnny will recall his cousins and how wonderful it felt to be embraced by family who accept him for who he is. But when John Younger was killed by a Union captain, Cole, Bob and Jim left Clay County and went to avenge their father's death and get even with the Yanks for stealing their land. And Ringo rode with them for a time until he was separated from them when he was arrested for his part in the Hoodoo war. Johnny escaped and started moving cattle with the double G where he met Curly Bill Brocious.
Ringo will dismiss those thoughts and just look at you. Your hair is unbound and flowing in the soft breeze and when you run your hand through your free hair and look his way, it takes his breath away.
Johnny lights a cigarette and pretends to be looking at something else. You look towards him and he looks away, partly from shame and partly because he doesn't want to scare you or have people tell you to avoid the cowboy.
Ringo will watch as your friends exit the gallery and you all go to the restaurant for coffee and a sweet pastry. Ringo will continue to watch you, imagining he is with you or that he's on his way to meet you.
Curly Bill and a few others including the Clanton's find Johnny and follow his gaze and see what or who he is looking at.
"Hell, I seen that cunt before-"
Ringo is sensitive and touchy when it comes to women. Johnny Ringo believes that women are angelic beings who can soften the hardest of hearts and can restore a man's soul. When he learned about exorcism at church he came to believe only a woman can drive ugliness out of a man. Especially one that has the sweet face and smile you do.
"Shut your goddamn mouth, Ike!" Ringo begins. "I'll cut you in half I hear you use that word again!"
Ike falls away from Ringo, remembering how touchy Ringo is about women.
"Sorry Johnny!" Ike stammers. "I forget how you are about women."
Ringo gives Ike a cold and dead stare. Ringo returns to looking at you and you're walking with friends to your destination.
"Anyone else feel like having pie and coffee?" Curly Bill asks, folding his arms and looking at Ringo. "Well, Juanito?" Curly glances at his lieutenant and winks.
Johnny isn't the type to follow you around and get to know your habits like Curly Bill does and Ringo isn't as concerned about the attention or reverence he would receive. Johnny is more concerned about getting to know you and being able to spend guiltless time with you. Of course he'd be proud to show you off, but, not in the same way Curly would. Curly Bill would enjoy every envious stare and love the attention and admiration he would receive by having you on his arm.
Ringo eyes the others and decides coffee and pie sound good right now and if he gets a chance to talk with you, it will be an added bonus.
They walk in and see you sitting enjoying your chocolate cake with sweet frosting. While you take bites, you lick your spoon in such a way, it causes the boys to look at each other. You're beautiful and Ringo just looks on, his face suddenly flushed and he can feel redness work it's way up from his chest to his eyes. He'll do his best to stay cool with his signature poker face that no one can read.
Curly Bill is talking loud as usual while he down his apple pie and coffee. Ringo barely touches his dessert since he's wrapped up in eyeing you every chance he gets.
"Go talk to her!" Ike Clanton says in a drunken voice. His volume is so loud that it causes you too look over at them. Before any of them can even tip their hats, your eyes go back to your friends. Ringo pushes his plate away from him and barely touches his coffee. He's not going to let his feelings known as loudly as Curly Bill would; Ringo will drown himself in whiskey and visit a ramera house to get his needs met. He's also not going to let it be known how attracted to you he really is. He plays it off like he's not interested anymore, but his if anyone really looks into his eyes, they would see a man tortured by his own feelings for you and the shame that he's not good enough and the guilt he is known for. Guilt that he shouldn't be pursuing a woman like yourself. You're clearly a woman of substance and rumors clarify you come from a good family; the idea that your family may disown you over your relationship with the pistoleer shakes Ringo to the core and his guilt is mind numbing. He wouldn't be able to forgive himself that you would lose your family's support all because of him. Although Johnny would cherish you each and everyday with your amazing ability to free him from his shame, he would be tortured emotionally if you had to live the rest of your life without your family.
Ringo puts on his best poker face when he looks over at you. You look back at him and your beautiful eyes meet his and for a moment, all the rustlers are in suspense waiting to see what you'll do.
You look away without expression and Ringo's heart sinks. He does his best to hide his disappointment, but Curly Bill can see Johnny is clearly hurt.
After paying their bill, the cowboys leave, tipping their hats to you and your friends as they walk out. You still seem uninterested and Ringo looks at the floor while leaving. He's relieved that his fellow cowboys don't know how he really feels. They wouldn't tease him like the way they would Curly because Ringo is a more unpredictable and when it comes to protecting the integrity of women, Ringo will destroy men simply for disrespecting women.
Once back at the Oriental, Ringo pounds whiskey quickly. He's not even concerned when he sees the righteous Earps walk through the door. He ignores them as he knows he's getting too drunk to get into a fight although a gunfight may be what he needs to relieve this pressure. Since Ringo usually looks morose and sad, he's able to conceal his breaking heart. The Earps keep an eye on the gunfighter as he looks more depressed than usual. Ringo has no intention of starting a fight with the Earps or anyone else...He downs one more shot before buying a bottle and riding back to the cowboy camp.
"What's Ringo's deal?" Billy Clanton asks.
Curly Bill keeps his voice low. "You wouldn't understand," Curly answers. He gets how heartbroken Ringo is. Although Johnny is one of the most dangerous men around, he's got heart and he is gentle man who was driven to killing and stealing when the damn Yankees won the war.
"Just leave him be. He'll drink through it." Curly is loyal enough to not tell the other cowboys that Ringo was interested in you and considers you his last shot at happiness; the life he always wanted, build something with a lovely woman who loves him and accepts him for who he is. Johnny Ringo is a man of deep feeling and deep thinking and now that he feels he can't have you, he's going to spiral into a depression.
Ringo doesn't blame you for not responding to him; he would hate it if your reputation was tainted or people stop talking with you or being friends with you all because you took up with one of the west's deadliest pistoleers.
*Curly Bill is a man who thrives in attention and admiration from women as well as men. For Curly Bill, your rejection feels so personal; it makes him feel old, undesirable and foolish. Because the big rustler bragged about getting you to go with him, it's tougher on his ego when you reject his advances. For Curly Bill, it's a huge blow to his confidence. Curly Bill hates the fact that his boys are unimpressed with his ability to swoon a conquest that doesn't charge by the deed. For Curly Bill, his ego is more bruised than Ringo's. Curly Bill will think you are his last shot at being happy; although Tombstone does have a high female population, you are the only one Curly has seen that he wants. The fact that he can't have you makes him crazy and causes him to want you even more. With you out of his reach, Curly is heartbroken and has to deal with a busted ego. He would also be worried about word getting around that the King of the Cowboys attempted to seduce a beautiful conquest and failed miserably.
*Johnny Ringo experiences his heartache differently. He's not going to brag about having you on his arm and he's not going to follow you around and do things to get your attention. Ringo tends to admire you from afar and because he wasn't vocal about his feelings, he doesn't have to deal with the gossip that would be swirling around Tombstone. In a town like that, good gossip can he hard to come by and a story about a gunfighter being rejected by one of Tombstone's most desirable women. Ringo's ego is considerably bruised, but he's more consumed by the shame he feels for wanting you and his mind grows numb from the guilt of thinking his presence in your life may cause your family to disown you.
Next: Ringo wins you over... Coming soon!

HEAD CANNON STORY: Curly Bill's Flirting Style:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When a man like Curly Bill has his eyes on something, he's absolutely going to follow through on an opportunity.
Curly Bill knows how to talk to ladies of the night so they'll give him more than what he's paid for, but how would this cowboy flirt with you?
At first, he may wink at you and tip his hat and pretend to be a gentleman like Ringo. When he sees you flip your unbound hair or smile sweetly at something that amuses you, you can't help but flash a smile Curly Bill has never seen before; a sincere smile that suggests you're happy to see him.
He may bait you by motioning for you to come over to where he is, but since you're a bit shy, Curly Bill knows he's got some work to do to get your attention!
He manages to get your attention with his swashbuckling personality and loud guffawing that can heard across the street. However, as Ringo reminds him, "You got her attention, cowboy. Can you keep it?"
Curly Bill knows you're a woman of substance. He also knows you like to have fun... Just like him.
He may tip his hat and say something like, "My my, what a lovely lady you are." Although that puts a smile on your face, it just isn't enough for you to reciprocate his flirting. When he's been drinking, he may look at his fellow rustlers and say, "ain't she something, boys? You ever see a prettier flower?" Sometimes if he's brazen and courageous enough, he might swagger on over and try to lay his charm on you by talking about his latest stunt such as killing a grizzly or getting away from aggressive Apaches. He hopes you enjoy his stories of manliness.
Sometimes he'll look into your eyes and say something like, "when the gods look at you, they can't help but say, "my, why she is pretty!" These comments always put a smile on your face.
If you're talking with other people, he simply winks at you and tips his hat. Or he may have a drink sent to where you're sitting. When he finally gets your attention to the point where you're flirting back, he may lay on a soft kiss on your cheek or your delicate hands. Sometimes he'll crack a joke about you that is harmless and well intended such as, "The gods spent lots of time making a smile like that!"
He enjoys watching you talk with others (unless it's another man) and delights in how effortlessly you show kindness.
Sometimes he sneaks up behind you. If you're close to him and you're and feeling shy, he'll start tickling you to not only get a rise out of you but because he loves how you squirm and beg him to stop, he enjoys the non sexual play he gets to engage in while making you laugh! And once he knows where you're ticklish, you won't be safe when he's around!
When you're feeling down, he's more than happy to let you cry on his shoulder as long as you want! He doesn't have anywhere he needs to be, so holding you close is something he values.
When you're happy, he'll want to know what put a smile on your face and he hopes that he can do something to widen that lovely grin. He may also laugh at your jokes and say, "Well, ain't she funny, boys?" Even if he doesn't understand your humor, he just delights in seeing you happy because of something he did!
His cowboys look at each other with inquisitive looks and wonder what their boss did to make you flirt back. When you flip your hair, he'll look on with delight in his eyes and he might stroke your locks while flirting with you. He'll ask around what your favorites are; your favorite color, song, dessert, dinner, well just about anything so he can impress you by surprising you with your favorites! He may "bump" into you in the streets of Tombstone and then to your delight he has a bouquet of flowers and a small box of chocolates because he knows how much you love both. Your gratitude is so satisfying, he is willing to do this for you as often as he can. When other men flirt with you and you are clearly uncomfortable, Curly Bill swoops in and rescues you from the undeserving thugs to show you how far he'll go to protect you. He doesn't expect anything in return other than validation and your adoration. And when you're being approached by an unworthy sap head, Curly Bill saves you and allows you to freely show your appreciation for his gallantry and there's nothing he would want more than for you to show him how much you appreciate him saving you by showering him with affection. He's a man and he wants a woman who treats a chivalrous man like him with lots of attention. Don't forget he's King of the Cowboys and has a sizable ego.
When you look sad or upset, he'll do whatever it takes to make you laugh and he'll crack jokes until he sees your eyes light up and you flash the smile he loves. He may blow in your ear just to get a rise out of you and then you can't resist his charm and you hug the cowboy tight. When he bumps into you in town, he always tips his hat and winks and loves how his fellow cowboys look on with wonder.
If you've just had a success at work, Curly Bill is going to make sure YOU are celebrated and he'll take you to the restaurant and he'll stand up with some of his cowboys and shout: "Three cheers for Y/N! She makes me proud everyday!"
When you're at the market, he ensures you are always first in line and he likes to buy you treats such as pastries or doughnuts.
Everytime he sees you, he approaches you, hoping to God you won't turn him down. It's not so much that you don't want him or that you're rejecting him, it's that you did it in front of his friends or worse - the Earps. He's grateful that you are so appreciative of his gallantry! He doesn't have a cheerleader in his life other than a bunch of surly dudes that haven't bathed in weeks so seeing you rooting for him is enough to make him feel like he can take the world. He says, "Look at her, boys! You ever see anyone prettier than Y/N?!"
Curly Bill sees men try to flirt with you and is always by your side in an instant to protect you. Once he knows what you love, be may insert your interest into an inside joke!
Overall, Curly Bill's flirting is a combination of physical play and humor. He delights in cracking jokes, letting you make jokes about him and playing with you by touching and tickling you. He loves getting a rise out of you and will do whatever it takes to get your attention when he's flirting.

HEADCANNON STORY:
SERENADED BY LOVE:
When Curly Bill discovers the reader's birthday is coming up, he desperately wants to find the perfect gift to how his devotion to her. What does he finally decide to get you?
Tumblr media
It seems that your birthday is coming up and Curly Bill wants to impress you by getting you the perfect gift. He thinks about you and what you have talked about and what you seem to enjoy. He knows you love fresh flowers, candles, perfume and books, but he is determined to give you something truly special and from the heart. Curly Bill finds himself asking Ringo for advice and Ringo suggests Curly Bill write you a poem about his feelings for you.
At first, the big cowboy guffaws and thinks Ringo is crazy. Furthermore, Curly can't read or write as well as Ringo and doesn't want Ringo to write it for him.
All night, Curly Bill thinks about you while he tosses fruitlessly in his tent. He tries to put the right words together:
"The loveliest flower in Arizona..." He begins. He shakes his head and thinks it sounds stupid.
Curly Bill spends the next few days not only thinking of you, but thinking how he can tell you how he feels without looking foolish. Curly Bill likes to act tough and he is the toughest guy in Tombstone, but his confidence in writing a poem is shattered. He could shoot coins for you, shoot the flames off of candles and then twirl his pistol. But he wants to do something completely unique and wants to show you he does have a softer side.
He begins reciting in his mind and begins writing down ideas slowly as he is not the smartest guy around.
(Your Name)...
You are the most beautiful flower in Arizona.
I want to make you mine...
He crumples the paper and throws it out, cursing under his breath. He starts to think this is a bad idea, but Ringo was right; a love poem he wrote himself may be the special magic that it would take for you to see him as more than just a lowly cowboy who never amounted to anything in his life. Curly didn't exactly have a plethora of opportunities growing up and the aftermath of the civil war made him the outlaw he is.
He tries again...
(Your name)
How lovely your smile...
How I adore your sweet face.
I think you're beautiful and know I ain't.
Your hair flows in the breeze and takes my breath away.
I would do anything just to be with you.
Well, this old cowboy wants you.
You're like an angel to me.
Happy birthday to the most beautiful woman I've ever seen....
Curly Bill reads and rereads his poem and is tempted to throw it away. He fears you may think it's stupid. You may even show people and then he would be a laughing stock. A dumb and worthless cowboy with nothing but the clothes in his back is going to win you over; and he is just one of many suitors.
Curly Bill doesn't share his words with anyone. He desperately wants to show you his softer side and show you how much he cares, but his overwhelming fear of rejection and public ridicule makes it difficult.
He keeps his poem in his pocket and reads it over until he has it committed to memory. He whistled as he rode into Tombstone, knowing your birthday is just a day away. Curly Bill sees you going from shop to shop with some of your friends and he simply watches you. He takes his hat off when you see him and his heart is delighted when you smile at him.
"I know you're beautiful and I ain't..." Curly Bill continues whistling nervously. He knows other men will be showering you with gifts and he worries he may not ever get the chance to tell you how he feels.
Curly Bill decides to have a few drinks and fill up on some liquid courage. He doesn't want to share his poem with anyone but you because he fears they will just laugh at his feeble attempts to swoon you! Having you laugh at his poem and his vulnerability is more than he could bear.
So, Curly Bill decides to take you for a short walk and share with you the short poem it took hours for him to write!
He takes a deep breath and watches you and your friends move to the restaurant. He tries to hide his jealousy; he knows Behan will be there with fresh flowers and probably an expensive piece of jewelry. Curly Bill could steal whatever he wants to give you, but he can't bring himself to steal something for you...You mean too much to him!
Curly Bill decides to wait until he gets you alone and so he returns later that evening to his cowboy camp to get some sleep and share his poem with you on your actual birthday.
He tosses and turns in his tent, mulling over his poem again and again. The morning comes too soon and Curly Bill awakes and wonders if he slept well. He asks Ringo what time it is and Ringo looks at his pocket watch and says, "Just a little after 9."
Curly Bill gets himself ready to see you. He goes into town, takes a bath, has his clothes laundered and sucks back a few shots of whiskey before taking a deep breath and begins looking for you. He knows it's your birthday and he doesn't want to interrupt your special day with friends.
To his surprise, he finds you by yourself walking out of a dress shop. He walks towards you, feeling in his pocket for his poem.
"Well, happy birthday!" Curly says to you and his heart lifts when you smile sweetly at him. There are few things that can melt this old cowboy's heart and your smile is one of them! Of course he would never admit that his knees get weak when you're talking to him.
"Thank you!" You answer. "I wanted to treat myself to something new!"
"You must be real busy today," Curly says, holding his hat and shifting his feet nervously.
"Oh! My friends came from California to celebrate with me."
Curly nods his head, still holding his hat.
"But they left this morning! So it's just me today!"
Curly Bill's heart lifts and he is ready to read you his poem.
"Well," Curly begins. "Have you had lunch yet?" He immediately regrets asking.
You shake your head no and Curly smiles.
"Want to have lunch? For your birthday, I mean." Curly Bill's heart is pounding and he can't believe how nervous he is. Your big eyes look up at him with wonder and when you answer yes, it is music to his ears. He escorts you to the restaurant and asks for the best table.
Curly Bill tries to order for you, but he fumbles as he has never done anything like that before. You smile and he appreciates how you want to make him more comfortable. You eat slowly. Curly begins eating quickly like he always did and then realizes he needs to slow down so you don't think he's disgusting or has terrible manners. But you find it charming. It's not everyday this cowboy has a chance to impress a beautiful woman. He butters your bread for you and eats faster than anyone you've ever seen, but you can't resist his social ineptness. It's refreshing and adorable! You eat slowly and he says, "You ain't eating hardly nothing, YN." You smile sheepishly. You're a little nervous yourself. You're in the presence of Curly Bill Brocious, King of the Cowboys!
When dinner is over, Curly Bill insists you get dessert. He wants you to order the most expensive treat on the menu! When the decadent cake is served, Curly Bill clears his throat and pulls his poem out of his pocket. You can see his nervous and is even shaking a little! Your heart can't help but melt over his vulnerability and his courage to reveal it to you. He once again clears his throat and begins reading, his voice shaking uncontrollably, fearing you may start laughing at him and his foolish attempt to impress you.
"Y/N..."
"How lovely your smile..."
"How I adore your sweet face."
"I know you're beautiful and I ain't."
"Your hair blows in the breeze and takes my breath away."
"I would do anything just to be with you."
"Well, this old cowboy wants you."
"You're an angel to me..." Curly Bill finishes.
"Happy birthday to the most beautiful woman I've ever known..." Curly Bill pauses, unable to finish and shocked by his own weakness. He chuckles sheepishly, like a little boy.
"Happy birthday," Curly Bill says. You take his face and kiss him gently, not caring at all about who was watching. He takes your small and delicate hands and holds them with his big clumsy ones. He looks intently into your eyes and taps your nose with his index finger. You smile and look into his vulnerable eyes. You understand how tough it is for a man like Curly Bill to show any emotion. He can't believe he's sitting with you. At the end your evening together, Curly asks if he can escort you to the hotel where you're staying. Your smile says it all and as he helps you onto his horse, he notices the envious glances of some of the men who would have killed to be in Bill's position and the pride he is feeling cannot be described.
You hold him tight and thank him again for his poem. His heart lifts when you ask him for a copy.

How Curly Bill and Johnny Ringo Would Respond to Compliments From Reader.
JOHNNY RINGO:
For a man like Ringo, he would have a tough time accepting compliments. For Johnny Ringo, it's all about the content of the compliment. It would be the opposite for his pal, Curly Bill who would enjoy any and every compliment. Ringo is a man who doesn't want anyone blowing smoke up his ass and in all fairness, neither does Curly Bill. A sincere compliment from a lovely lady is absolutely priceless for men like Ringo and Curly Bill. Neither one would be picky about the compliment. So how would these two cowboys react when you compliment them?
JOHNNY RINGO:
Confusion would be among the many feelings Ringo would feel when you tell him how handsome he is or how you love his eyes. Since nobody ever told Johnny these things (and actually meant it) is uncharted territory in the enigma that is Johnny Ringo.
*Your compliments would be unbelievably flattering. Because Ringo doesn't usually receive compliments of ANY kind, he would feel very flattered and may not be able to contain his smile. He just may blush when you tell Johnny how expressive his eyes are or how strong he is. Johnny is a man who must endure life without the company of women so any compliment is welcome. Especially one that reflects his ability to protect you.
*He would feel undeserving of your kind words. You're considered the most desirable woman in Tombstone so although Ringo would absolutely love your compliments, he would feel a strong sense of not being good enough to receive them.
*Johnny would be overwhelmed by how you see him. Most people would run in the opposite direction of where Ringo is coming from. But not you; you enjoy his company and you're always there with an uplifting word and a smile on your face! You don't experience fear of any kind when you're in Johnny's presence. And the fact that such a trusted and respected woman is carefree around the gunfighter, puts Johnny Ringo in a different light in the eyes of the residents of Tombstone.
*Ringo doesn't need to be complimented as much as Curly Bill does, but that doesn't mean your admiring words wouldn't flatter his ego.
*Compliments that Johnny Ringo Would Love:
Tumblr media
"You're so kind and gentle."
Nobody, not even his own family would describe Ringo in this way so your sincere words telling him you recognize that quality in him would fill his heart with unbound happiness. At heart, Ringo is gentle... He's been described as a gentleman born. But the civil war broke the only life he ever knew. Not to mention his father's sudden and tragic death. Ringo had convinced himself that every word uttered and every word written about him was right as rain and that he was the embodiment of a ruthless killer and outlaw who rode with the Clanton's. When Ringo sees that you recognize what he tries so desperately to convey, it fills his heart with joy and sends his mind spinning! In fact, he would never get tired of hearing you tell him you appreciate his gentle side and that you see Ringo as the gentleman he is.
"Thank you." This may seem more of a gesture of gratitude than a compliment, but remember, these two words are not ones Johnny is likely to hear from anyone. Maybe not even his own gang of cowboys. Ringo grew around women and women were the beings who showed him love and to women, Ringo will always be grateful. Furthermore, nobody...And I mean nobody says thank you to any of the Cowboys and Ringo is no exception. He's looked down upon by the men and many women of Tombstone who have heard and read all about the deadly gunfighter. And no one is going to write about any good deeds he has done so when you show sincere gratitude, it is so delightful to Ringo. Your voice washes over him like a symphony of comfort.
"You're so handsome." Although cliche and simple, those words would flow like a symphony through Ringo's ears. With all the rustling, stage coach robberies and jail time, he feels his prime is over and when he looks in a mirror, he usually quickly looks away, unable to recognize himself at times. He sees his scars, the slow birth of wrinkles and his tired eyes. When you stroke his face and tell him you believe he's one of the most attractive men you've ever seen, he starts to notice his better features!
"You say the sweetest things!" Everyone who knows Ringo well, knows he delights in poetry and old world literature. He can recite the Illiad and the Odyssey, quote Shakespearean sonnets and discuss other works of literature with ease. Finding someone who appreciates that has proved quite the challenge. When you listen intently and then shower him with compliments, it stirs the embers of his heart in such a way, he can't help but become overwhelmed.
*Wow!" So basic, but so meaningful! Shows he can still impress a lovely lady. Whether he's showing you how he can twirl his pistol or break a bronc, you're a true cheerleader and always have a smile on your face with wide eyes and a tight hug that warms his heart. And when Ringo does little things that show his big feelings for you and you're overwhelmed with wonder, it fills his heart with overwhelming happiness. He may not be able to contain it either.
"You're such a good man, Johnny! Any woman would be very lucky to have you!" Ringo will pause and wait for you to start laughing and tell him you're just kidding. But when your eyes express sincere adoration, Ringo won't know what to say so he may fall into your arms and let your kindness cover him like a familiar blanket.
"Farmers are among the most underappreciated people in the world!" This one would really make Ringo swoon. He began life working on a farm and never felt fulfilled doing it. Johnny looked down on himself for not achieving anything in life that involved honest work except farming. After the war, Ringo couldn't return to medical school to finish and he felt such shame that he would spend his life starting at a mule's ass while plowing a field, hoping the weather would promote a sellable crop. Instead of Ringo, MD, he would be Ringo, a low life farmer who wasn't good enough to complete his medical training. So when you tell him you admire farmers, he'll be as intrigued as he is flattered. Of course he'll ask why and you'll remind him that, "Famers feed the world!" And he'll suddenly feel better about his family's work lineage.
"I care about you!" Since nobody cares about the Cowboys, this one would strike him as exceptionally kind. To know that you -that someone actually actually gives a damn about this down and dirty cowboy would mean more to him than 1,000 empty praises from disingenuous whores or other ladies of the night.
"You're so smart!" When Ringo left home to attend college, he felt the courses challenged him in ways he wasn't quite used to. While taking a break from farm work, Johnny escaped into the world of Homer, Shakespeare and Lord Byron. Studying the sciences presented a lack of confidence in his ability to understand biology and chemistry. He struggled to understand. When the war hit, Ringo knew his destiny was farming and to hear you tell him how smart you think he is music to his ears and ignites his fiery ego. To impress a woman like you proved challenging, but he managed to do it.
'You're special." This one would hit home more than many other compliments because other than a couple of Sunday school girls and a few prostitutes, no one has ever told Johnny Ringo that he was special. It's one thing to pay a woman to tell a man he's special and if he's drunk enough, it'll sound wonderful. If a lovely lady tells a man he's special and expects nothing in return, that man has just moved up several notches on the social ladder and as long as she's by his side, he'll most likely stay there.
CURLY BILL:
Flattering Curly Bill is easier than falling off a log. Women don't shower Curly with affection unless the old cowboy throws money their way unlike Johnny Ringo so when you compliment this rustler, don't be surprised if he can't contain his smile.
Compliments Curly Bill Would Love:
Tumblr media
"You're so strong!" Curly Bill desires to be the center of attention whether he's in the presence of other men or women... There are lots of men in Tombstone from all different walks of life and most of the men have left behind their dreams of a loving marriage with a nurturing wife. But there's only one YOU and when you look up at this old cowboy and tell him how strong you think he is he starts to feel younger! Men like Curly can feel old quickly, especially when they see the up and coming young bucks who are looking to make a living punching cows. But you ignore them and focus on Curly and that ignites his sizable ego.
"Thank you, Curly Bill!" Just like Ringo, these are two words that Curly hardly ever hears and he probably can't remember the last time he heard a woman say it, let alone a beautiful one like you. Curly needs to feel appreciated and he needs to feel appreciated often. Your gratitude is so satisfying, he'll find himself doing things for you just to hear you utter those two simple words.
"You're the boss and you have so much responsibility!" Curly Bill likes to be reminded that he's the boss; not only that, he delights in knowing you think he's the strongest. For men like Curly Bill, the older he gets, the less likely he'll hear compliments from anyone so when you show him that you recognize his position of power, the old cowboy will melt.
"My knees are shaking!" Sounds silly and cliche, but to this old rustler, you couldn't say this enough times and he'll never get tired of hearing you say it and never grow bored of making you feel that way. As mentioned earlier, Curly Bill has a sizable ego and that ego needs to be stroked...Often..So when he knows your knees are shaking or you're trembling when in his arms, he'll feel mighty important, masculine, young and that he's still got it...
"You're so handsome!" Yeah, this is obviously a given as we all want to hear how attractive we are to others. Curly, like Johnny Ringo must endure life without the company of women for weeks and even months at a time, so being around women is all he cares about most of the time. Unfortunately, he's got to pay extra for compliments and pay a little more for those compliments to sound sincere. When Curly Bill looks into a mirror, he sees lines that come from his risky days of rustling all in the dry western heat. His lifestyle is tough on a man and he feels he can see his painful memories etched across his slowly wrinkling face and his eyes look sunken from drinking too much whiskey. When you tell him he's handsome and he sees in your eyes that you mean it, this old cowboy will be puddy in your hands. He may just fall asleep holding you!
"You made me happy when you (fill in the blank)" Curly Bill isn't the smartest guy around so he isn't someone you drop hints with. He definitely needs you to be specific when you're telling him why what he did made you happy. Even if this old cowboy knows, he still wants to hear you tell him what he did made you happy. When Curly Bill knows what makes you happy, he may find himself doing certain things just to hear you tell him how much you appreciate his efforts. Curly Bill is the kind of man who wants to be appreciated.
"How are you?" Ok, this is more of a question than a compliment, but it's a compliment to Curly that you're concerned for him and even more that your concerns are genuine. When you ask Curly Bill if he's alright and your eyes express that he's on your mind, it fills him with unbelievable joy! Nobody, not even his own gang members asks if he's alright! If they do, it's usually due to their concern for themselves. Curly Bill will never get tired of you asking him if he's ok!
"You make me feel special!" Curly Bill will be thinking...."What? Wait... What? I make her feel special?" He'll be racking his brain trying to figure out what the hell he did to make you feel special and nobody will be more shocked by your admission than old Curly! Don't be surprised if Curly asks you what he did to make you feel special and when you tell him it was because he defended you or protected you or that he made you feel safe, you'll see the rustler grin with a smile that suggests pride and importance. It's not everyday a man gets to impress you! Not only did you give Bill a chance, you appreciate his efforts! And remember, Curly needs...I'll go as far as he craves the admiration and respect of the men around him.
"I never met anyone like you!" We all wish we could hear that and it would mean so much if our crush said those words and truly meant them. But remember where and when he comes from. In Curly's time, and in some ways in our time too, people usually married for convenience or to escape the intolerable loneliness of the wild west. So when Curly Bill meets you and sees your inner and outer beauty, your wonderful spirit and warm heart, he's head over heels! He's never met anyone like you so for you to regard him in that way would have this old cowboy swooning in no time. And he would value the compliment as one of the best he's ever heard.
*For Johnny Ringo, he accepts and embraces all sincere compliments. He is more flattered by the content than anything else. He loves to hear you tell him he's handsome and strong, but also that you recognize his sincere efforts to be a good man. Johnny is interested in hearing about his character more than his physical features or strength.
*With Curly Bill, he wants to hear how strong, tough and handsome he is. He's the boss and likes knowing that he's got the respect of some of the best gunmen in the west. For Curly, he wants to hear about his character as much as Ringo does, but definitely delights more in hearing about how he protected you and about his gallantry and physical strength.

SHORT STORY:
Curly Bill and Johnny Ringo:
How They React When the Cowboys Get Rowdy Around You...(in progress)
Tumblr media
CURLY BILL:
Cowboys get rowdy and that's no surprise. After a long cattle drive, all they want to do is hit the cow towns and raise some hell. The Red Sash Cowboys were a different breed...They drove stolen cattle and robbed stage coaches. They didn't hit the railroads or banks like the James Younger Gang as their best talents were stealing cows. Curly Bill and his group of thugs encountered all sorts of dangers; vengeful Apaches or Comanches, rattlers, grizzlies and the law if they were being pursued. Rustling was dangerous work and they did it well. When they weren't stealing, they were spending their ill gotten gains on booze, calico queens, gambling and other common indulgences. These men all came from fractured families and found a brotherhood among each other. It was for that reason they remained so loyal to one another and when someone comes down on one of them, they come down on all of them. That's the cowboy way. They don't ride for the brand like traditional cowboys do.
A cattle drive could take weeks to complete and along that drive Curly and his boys suffered from insect swarms, dust, dust and more dust all without bathing or changing their underwear or washing their nether regions or under their arms. Cowboying is a dirty, dirty job. The chuck wasn't great either and Curly's gang didn't have a bean master on their drives so they prepared their own meals which was anything from small fish from whatever water sources were available, rabbit, beans, biscuits, bacon, dried fruits and maybe some canned tomatoes.
But the worst part of the job wasn't the vengeful injuns or deadly grizzly bears, it was the mind numbing loneliness these men suffered. On the range, women were as scarce as clean water sources. And if they happened across a shack occupied by a family of squatters, the women were not much to look at and didn't have a kind or gentle demeanor. How could they in an environment like this? Survival was a way of life. These pioneers and travelers were hoping if they could build something in the land, that they could make a better life for themselves. And since the railroads didn't come through some of these areas, the settler's could remain without the threat of having their land suddenly uprooted by vicious railroad barons. The settlers were not the friendliest, but did offer some food for the cowboys such as flour, rice or arbuckles. Curly Bill and his gang were thankful for such stops along the way since there weren't very many. And the rustler gang always expected a lovely woman to prepare a basket of fresh fruits and breads, but they were met with a woman who's faces were puffed out like biscuits, tattered clothing, hair that was so dried up, they kept it up all the time and of course in those harsh conditions, these women usually didn't have much in the way of a sense of humor. Even so, a drive was so lonely, Curly and the others would share a bed with them just to alleviate their desperate loneliness.
The cow towns offered soiled doves at a price and since men like Ringo and Curly had no other offers, they used the services these fallen angels provided. Sometimes Ringo or Curly would pay double, just so they could fall asleep with these ladies of the night and at least get a sense of what having a home would feel like...
Because of this rough and mostly lawless environment, men like The Cowboys were rough and lawless themselves. All they had was each other and they depend on each other for survival, a sense of belonging and inclusion and a brotherhood of tough guys. They would never sell each other out or leave one of their own to defend themselves. Wearing that red sash meant more than you were a part of a gang. That red sash set these men apart from other gangs...It meant that you rode with some of the toughest and most skilled gunfighters. The Cowboys were an elite force founded by one of the meanest men around; Newman Hayes Clanton, father to Ike and Billy Clanton. NH Clanton also known as "Old Man Clanton," was rustling cattle before his 13th birthday. He could rope and shoot better than most and had a questionable disposition. He could piss stronger stuff than most of the boys he went up against and his small cattle rustling empire dominated Arizona. He was a feared man who would slap the toughest men around and no one challenged him. He made his farm his headquarters where some other rustlers gathered to be a part of the operation. When NH Clanton met Curly Bill Brocious, he was immediately impressed by the younger cowboy. Curly, like Old Man Clanton could shoot as well he ropes and had a demeanor that communicated he was not a man to mess with. Curly Bill also had possessed the leadership skills and authority that Clanton was looking for and the older man put Curly Bill in charge of his rustling enterprise. Newman Clanton was impressed by Curly Bill and treated him like a son. There was no other man Old Man Clanton trusted to take over his rustling enterprises.
Although Curly Bill enjoys his title as King of the Cowboys, he also knows it is a title he needs the live up to!
When folks hear that Brocious is planning a visit at a certain town whether to sell or steal cows, they gather up the best stock to offer up to The Cowboys in exchange for protection. And the outlaw is never without gratitude! He owns up to his end of the deal and ensures his allies are always protected.
Curly is a man that always takes care of his own and if anyone upsets one of his own, Curly Bill will come down very hard. The Cowboys have each other and there was no one to speak for them or offer any time of advocacy.
Because these men were so naturally rough and gritty, they certainly didn't know how to behave themselves in the presence of lovely or refined ladies. They usually just made fools of themselves falling over each other trying to get their attention. So it was up to the calico queens to satisfy The Cowboys.
This is the only life Curly Bill ever knew. A peaceful and traditional family wasn't something he ever experienced a d so he valued his red sash gang of fellow outlaws and would ride to the death with them. Other than the rugged boys he rode with, Curly didn't have any other connections. He barely tolerated John Behan, the county sheriff who was an ally to the Cowboys and ensured their deeds of destruction would be swiftly overlooked. Behan also acted as an informant and knew the stage schedules, making it easier for Curly and his boys to get on the trail and rob the stagecoaches. The Cowboys certainly didn't respect Behan and couldn't understand why some of the more decent women in Tombstone seemed so impressed by the dashing officer. When he was engaged to Susan Wells, an actress who came to Tombstone with Josephine Marcus, Behan was more than happy to squander any funds his fiance's father provided.
When you arrive in Tombstone, your only friends are a few farmer's wives, the pastor's wife, a shopkeeper, a local reporter, Fred White and Billy Breckenridge. However, with your beautiful face and lovely smile and warm charm quickly elevate your status and your popularity. It seems everyone likes you and you soon find yourself being bombarded with all sorts of men looking for a chance to impress you. Although you accept a few invitations to dinner, you really are not impressed with any of them. No one tries harder than John Behan, who sees you as Tombstone's most desirable woman and with you by his side, he'll be able to accomplish just about anything. He views a relationship with you as a major step on the ladder of social status and relishes in the idea of being seen with you in public. Although it drives you crazy and you want nothing to do with the ambitious law man, he still believes he can charm you.
Tombstone is a tough town, but offers some alternative activities for those looking for culture. Past Fremont and Allen Street, there's a museum, a small library, two restaurants that feature fine dining, imported wine and freshly made cakes, pies and confectioners. In addition, there is an art gallery, a social club where local businessman can relax drinking Brandy and smoking imported cigars. This up and coming town went from a mining camp to a cultured community where the sophisticated and the down and dirty could find something to interest them.
Curly Bill and his gang didn't go past Allen Street to visit the more elite places. They knew they wouldn't be welcome and would rather spend their winnings on gambling, booze and ladies of the night.
However, one Sunday afternoon while you're talking with Breckenridge, Curly Bill sees you and is immediately impressed, intrigued and very interested. He wonders if you know who he is and if you've heard the news that he is the King of the Cowboys. Curly Bill wants to approach you, but doesn't want to come on to strong to scare you. Instead, he waits patiently for Billy Breckenridge to get up. When the young deputy parts ways with you, Curly Bill seizes the chance to get him to introduce the two of you.
"Well, howdy, deputy," the big rustler begins. "Who was that lovely lady you were just chatting with?"
Billy Breckenridge smiles and looks at the ground. Brocious isn't the first man in Tombstone to ask the agent to introduce them to you.
"Her name is y/n, and she's been here a couple of months. Mostly stays away from Allen and Fremont." Curly nods.
"A lovely lady like that don't belong around here, " the big cowboy answers.
Curly Bill looks at Breckenridge, waiting for him to take him to where you are. Curly Bill follows Billy to the hotel. Curly walks in and sees you sitting in a chair, reading a book.
Just like Ringo, Curly Bill thinks.
"Y/N," Billy asks which causes you to look up. Your smile melts Curly Bill's heart a bit and he can't help but smile.
"Have you met Curly Bill Brocious? He's King of the Cowboys!"
Your smile widens and you close your book and stand before the two men.
You hold your hand out for Curly to shake and he's tempted to kiss it, but dismisses the idea as he desperately wants to ensure your comfort as to not scare you away.
"Well, it sure is a pleasure to meet you, y/n," the cowboy says. You smile and seem shy and Curly will wonder if it's because you're charmed by the Cowboy King.
"I've heard of you," you say softly with your eyes to the ground.
"Just believe the good stuff," Curly Bill says, taking his hat off.
"I heard you were very daring," you respond, your eyes still gazing at the lush carpet in the lobby of the hotel. Curly Bill will flick his tongue and chuckle, without taking his eyes off of you.
"The hotel restaurant is open for lunch," Breckenridge states. "Join me and Curly Bill for a bite?"
Curly Bill suddenly feels a little flushed. He appreciates what the deputy is trying to do, but feels nervous about spending time with you. He may be the leader of some of the most wild men in the territory, but the only things men like Curly feared were trigger happy deputies, vengeful injuns and beautiful women. But he's daring and all of you move towards the dining room.
At first, Curly Bill feels a bit insecure; he can feel the stares of guests and can hear a few whispers, "isn't that Curly Bill Brocious?" He turns to meet their stares and he simply tips his hat and may wink. You are seated at a table for five so there is a little room for all of you. One of the waitresses comes over to give you menus. Curly Bill and Breckenridge already know what they're ordering, but you take your time looking over the menu.
Curly Bill looks around the room. You keep smiling at the big rustler and he can see the other guests beginning to relax and he will appreciate how you can do that for him and he will enjoy feeling that way.
When the waitress returns, you order and after a few moments, your meals arrive. While eating, Curly Bill will start scarfing down his food like he usually does when he's with his cowboys. He looks at Breckenridge who flashes Curly a look that says, "slow down, cowboy." Curly Bill appreciates the advice and slows his eating down. He notices how cute you are when you eat. The old cowboy can't take his eyes off of you and each time your eyes meet, you smile shyly and chuckle like a little girl. You're the last one to finish eating and have only finished half of what you ordered.
"That was yummy!" You say, still feeling intimidated by the rustler.
"Well, are you sure you don't want more?" Curly Bill asks. "What about some pie?"
"Um... sure, I love sweets!" You answer.
Curly Bill and Breckenridge start talking about business matters including talking with Behan about stage schedules. When Behan's name is brought up, you clearly look uncomfortable and Curly Bill will wonder if the sheriff has been flirting with you. He would feel like a fool of you went with Behan.
"Behan still sending you flowers every other day?" Breckenridge asks. You look down and the sweet smile you adored earlier is replaced by a frown and your liquid eyes look sad and annoyed. Curly Bill looks at you and feels somewhat confident about winning you over. If you don't like a man like Behan, maybe you would like a cowboy...
"Yes," you answer still looking at your half eaten dessert.
"Behan's troubling you,"Curly Bill asks, hoping he can make you feel better or at least not annoyed.
You finally speak. "Well, you see when I first arrived, I thought he was nice. And helpful." You shake your head and continue. "I didn't know anyone and he introduced me and then well, I met Billy and Fred-"
"Our town marshall?" Curly asks, surprised.
You smile a little and nod. "You see, I appreciated everything Johnny Behan did to help, but I didn't want to....And he made me feel..." You shake your head again.
"I'm sorry," Curly Bill begins. "Didn't mean to make you upset." Your big eyes look up at the old rustler. Your smile is so innocent and sweet, he just wants to take you into his arms.
"No, you didn't. I just...." Billy and Curly look at each other. Curly Bill feels for you and a lovely lady like yourself shouldn't be bullied by Behan. The dashing sheriff is expecting something in return for his gallantry.
"I asked Wyatt Earp to please talk to him for me and tell Johnny to leave me alone." This makes Curly Bill more angry, but he keeps it in.
"Well, did Wyatt help you?" The cowboy asks. You shake your head and look back down at your pie.
"Only once. But then I found out that Behan is letting the Earps stay in some cottages free of charge and well..." You eyes begin to well up with tears which only makes Curly Bill more angry.
"So, what happened?" Brocious asks. Billy Breckenridge sits there, eyeing Curly. He knows there is tension between the Earps and the Cowboys and the Cowboys aren't crazy about Behan because although he did help the rustlers, he is also a self serving slug.
"Wyatt told me to take care of it myself..." Now Curly Bill is angry as hell. Not only is Behan bullying you, you've got no one to protect you.

how do you think each beatle member would react to getting their nappy changed 😳
This was a really difficult question! I think it would all depend if they were accustomed to using their nappies and who would be doing the changing!
Johnny: I’m biased, but I think Johnny would be the most comfortable with it, at least once he got used to it! I think he would be incredibly embarrassed and maybe angry at first, but then he’d love it... It’d be his special time with Daddy, so intimate and intense... I think he’d also be the one to most easily go into littlespace while getting changed ;)
Paul: I think Paul would probably be embarrassed, but good at hiding it. He’d be a good sport lol, but I have a feeling that he wouldn’t be able to let himself relax during it for a while. I can also see him straight up refusing to mess himself lol.
George: If John didn’t get the angriest, then I personally think it would be George. If it were John or Paul changing him, I think he would throw a fit and have to be strapped down with a dummy stuck in his mouth, he’d have too much of an issue with being thought of as the baby of the group...
Ringo: It’s so hard for me to imagine Ringo in nappies tbh! I don’t think he’d be angry like John or George, I’m more inclined think he would joke and laugh about it... I get the feeling that he’d be more of a DL than an AB! Idk what it is with me and Ringo but he’s also the only one that I get the straightest vibes from!

I love the thought of the other boys teasing John backfiring on them that way! How do you think they’d each react?!
It would be so delicious! 😳😳 They’re so caught up in the fun of teasing Johnny and pointing out what a baby he is, they’ve completely forgotten that they’re still wearing wet nappies themselves and they’re starting to leak. John’s obviously the biggest baby of the four but it’s clear that none of them are mature adults. When Brian tells them that he’s going to change them all in the restroom, they would be horrified, immediately thinking about the humiliating sight of Johnny spread wide on the floor as Brian wipes him clean, cooing at him like he’s just a precious baby. I think Ringo and Paul would be won over with the promise of a reward, such as a night without nappies or even something simple such as ice cream. Paul may be more difficult, he’s so stubborn, but ultimately he wouldn’t want to be punished, so he doesn’t put up too much of a fight. George on the other hand would be so unruly, absolutely spitting mad about Brian doing this, and he’d earn himself a spanking right then and there, Brian lifting his legs by the ankles during his changing and smacking his bottom just like a naughty baby. Johnny’s pants are the only ones that aren’t stained because he wears thicker nappies than the others but Brian makes the three other boys walk out of the restroom and to the car without them on. He says it’s because they’re too wet for them to wear, but in actuality it’s punishment for how badly they treated Johnny. The boys would all be reeling with humiliation so Brian buys them all ice cream to make them feel better. 😳
