A: Unfortunately, I will most likely not be doing that. 😞 I don't really think of my stuff as fics. I consider them more discussions, ideas, ramblings, outlines, etc. I really try to make sure to use the above tagging system for all my posts though so if Tumblr behaves then you should be able to click one and see all/most of my posts for that particular fandom. Maybe someday I'll sit down and write a actual fic. 👀

A: I would encourage you to just go ahead and unfollow if you need to ask. At the end of the day my blog is mine and I can post or not post whatever I want. I try really hard to not feel like I'm letting people down when I don't post about a specific fandom for awhile. I'm not about that. My posts are for me and it's just a fun extra bonus when other people like them too. My interests go through cycles frequently, and I always come back around but I can't tell you how long it might be before I post about whatever fandoms you're a part of.

great news, i only have one character design sheet. i mean, one design and this one... art-but-not-really </3 my laptop is broken and so is my tablet, so i'm left with searching discord messages with hopes i'll find something. also, super happy to see other anons reply to my little question HDGFHD but onto the designs!

since i'm on anon i can't send a picture so! the first design ( https://imgur.com/d656MHg ) is for my snezhnayan oc, who is... well, half a ghost half a human. she was once a very popular and passionate singer in a snezhnayan theatre! and then someone sabotaged her. she lost her voice. then she tried to turn into the major character death tag but failed and celestia said "no, you're not dying, here's your pyro vision, now go and haunt the theatre." she's not enjoying her life. her design was more focused to give her, oh, like, pretty singer vibes, the pretty girls you'd see on pinterest but also... look a bit more genshin with the colors and stuff. overall this was my second more complex genshin design so... i like it. it's nice.

and now. back when i was actively playing anime rhythm gacha games, it was pretty common for people to edit the cards. you know. i did that! and some time i edited my alchemist lady into a card of my favorite love live character! i attached both original card and my edit (here https://imgur.com/a/pcIs6r4 ) and... i mean, her design is very self indulged because, grand reveal, i created her first as my genshin-sona but then she turned into an actual OC so. yes. but also, she's a traveler so she's allowed to have her clothes not fully fit the nation she's from. and besides i do plan on giving her alternative outfits from every nation she visited so... additional info, she also has a big fluffy coat with her. yeah.

one design is... lost somewhere. and the other is for, surprise, another snezhnayan OC who's based of slavic mythology and one day i sure will digital it. that's a lot post im sorry AHAJHDF 🌻

i also had a (nonfandom) oc that was once my sona so i get it AHKSAHHFJF and yeah i think it's fair for her clothes not to fit any particular nation then!!

Hello and welcome! This little sideblog is for roleplaying as you can obviously tell, I am still very new to how Tumblr roleplay stuff works so I'd appreciate any and all help if there's better ways of going about running this blog ^^

General info:

I go by Crypt/Cryptid or any variant of the word you can think of, I like adding to my silly nickname pile, and I'm currently 20. I have roughly 7 years of roleplaying experience and do my best to write rather detailed responses, I'm into numerous fandoms/universes while also having an absurd amount of ocs.

I prefer roleplaying via discord or DMs simply due to ease of reading and reblog chains can get very long though im not against the reblog method. I will only roleplay with people who are 18+ due to often liking to explore darker topics and occasionally NSFW content.

For most things I roleplay ocs but there are a few fandoms where I prefer canon characters. I'm also open for nonfandom roleplays! I have numerous flexible characters to work with cause I'm usually down for anything.

I'm stuck between Snake Lion and Double Snake. Is telling the truth but twisting it to your benefit a Snake or Lion thing? I don't like to outright lie because my Bird model tells me that's bad. And getting caught in a lie would end horribly. It's easier to just frame the truth in a certain way. Whenever there's friend group drama, I make sure to get in early and establish the narrative in a way that favors me without actually lying. I also hate talking about my feelings if that matters.

Snake Lion, definitely. I am sorry to say but I don't see any Snake secondary here. If anything I feel the Bird model that is probably Snake flavoured.

Ngl, I relate a bit to what you described in your ask, which makes me wonder if your secondary might be a bit burned? Not very badly, but enough to make you a bit uncomfortable in your own skin, maybe? Would explain the whole "hate talking about my feelings" thing, LOL.

Has anyone tried to sort the characters from The Winx or the Barbie Movies ?

I assume you mean the original Winx Club and I am afraid I don't remember that enough to try and sort it. Buut I did a rewatch of (the more interesting) Barbie movies and with the help of @the-phoenix-heart @starry-sky-stuff @laufire here are the Babries we’ve sorted:

1. Clara (Barbie in the Nutcracker)- Lion Snake. The movie focuses a lot on Clara's dreams and goals. Her Snake is a bit more hidden, but she has the same quiet Snake secondary energy kids that grew up in controlling/abusive households tend to develop. Plus remember when she had to save Eric she straight up lied to the guards?

2. Rapunzel (Barbie as Rapunzel)- Double Bird; the brush is such a Bird sec tool and she has that Bird primary vibe. Not to mention this shows that you can have The (Mad) Scientist sorting with artists too 

3. Odette (Barbie in Swan Lake)-Badger Lion. Her secondary is a bit burned in the begining but she gets better. Badger because of how much she cares about literally everyone, from people to mythical animals.

4. Annelisse (Barbie in the Princess and the Pauper)- Snake Bird. Her People are her mom -for whom she might have developed a bit of a Lion model- and Julian and what other secondary would collect and classify rocks for fun?

5. Erika (Barbie in the Princess and the Pauper)- Snake Lion. She ~bonds with Annelisse which is the only reason why she goes along with Julian’s plan -her only other Person is her cat xD- and I will say Lion secondary because she is clearly Improvisional and so snippy to her employer

6. Elina (Barbie: Fairytopia series) - Double Badger. "For the friends you haven’t met” is such a Badger primary say and the only thing to get Elina out of her trance in the first movie. I hesitated between Lion and Courtier Badger but the last two movies made me choose the latter.

7. Teenage Barbie (Barbie Diaries) - Lion Badger. To quote Phoenix: “ People pleaser with dreams of being popular and a news anchor is a total Lion Badger ”

8. Genevieve (Barbie in the 12 dancing princesses) -Badger Bird. She is the one that is always willing to lend a hand and who keeps her mom's traditions alive. And she always go for logical solutions (dad is sick, call the doctor), makes the plan to defeat Rowena in the end AND when Rowena attacks her she defends herself using the fan skills she learned from the duchess herself :DD. Not to mention that she seems the most capable to rule out of all the sisters so The King sorting fits her well

9. Ro (Barbie as The Island Princess)- Bird Badger. We see her caretake in the very first minutes of the movie with Tika or how she chases away the crocodiles. I chose her primary mostly by elimination, but I think it’s fitting for a girl who has an entire song with lyrics that start with “why” and wears a peacock dress. Symbolism much xDD. Not to mentionBird Badger is The Survivor and Ro sure is one.

10. Mariposa (Barbie: Mariposa) - Lion Bird She's clearly an Intuitive primary abd the way she's carving adventure and visiting far-away places made me settle on Lion. Also it might be me, but the sentence "I don't know what's worse, failing or admiting it to people who believed in me?" sounds veeery Lion primary. She loves reading books, and uses the knowledge she gathers from them to accomplish her goal which is a very Bird secondary MO.

11. Liana (Barbie and the Diamond Castle) - Double Snake. Her Snake secondary is easy to spot: she tricks Slyder with switching the mirrors, she gets her and Alex to play music at the restaurant for a meal. It's obvious Liana is a Loyalist and for the longest time I thought she was a Badger, but a Badger would not have been happy living alone just with Alexa in their small cottage. Also, her very betrayed speech to Melody after Alexa leaves her is so Snake to me xD

12. Eden Starling (Barbie in A Christmas Carol). Snake Lion. Her primary is burned at the start of the movie and yet we can still see how she is loyal to both her dead aunt and her cat. The entire movie is about her unburning and it is cathartic to watch. Lion secondary because she is abrasive at the best of times and at the end she relies on grand gestures to make ammends.

13. Thumbelina (Barbie presents: Thumbelina)- Lion Bird. She's an inventor so the Bird is obvious. Her dedication to save her home, her adventurous spirit, and her confrontational attitude with Mackena all scream Lion primary to me.

14. Corrine (Barbie in The Three Musketeers) - Double Lion. Could the girl who lifted the ban on female Musketeers be anything else but The Revolutionary? Corrine is a dauntless improviser and very stubborn. She starts as a bit of an immature Lion who wants to fight for glory and has to learn to fight for what's right.

15. Merliah (Barbie on a Mermaid Tale)- Lion Snake. Another immaure Glory Hound Lion who learns to embrace her role as princess. I considered Lion secondary, but I am pretty sure her rival/co-protagonist in the second movie-Kylie- is one. And while they are similar, Kylie is much more direct and abrasive which makes me think Merliah is a Snake who loves to live in neutral. She's certanly charming enough to be one.

16. Actress!Barbie (Barbie in a Fashion Fairytale+Fairy Secret)- Badger Snake. She's an Exterior primary that's very affected by what the world thinks. Also note that when she wants to get away she does not go to a completely unknown place like her friends suggest, but to her aunt's fashion house because that's where she feels safe. Her determination to save both the fashion house and then Ken felt almost Lion secondary at times, but I think she's a Snake: she is an actress, the interaction with the crazy director in Fashion Fairytale points to Fluid secondary and The Advisor seems to pretty much sum up her role in the first movie.

17. Blair (Barbie in Princess Charm School)- Snake Badger. Probably the Snakiest Snake primary Barbie as everything she does is for her mom and sister. She's a hard worker as proven by both her job as a waitress than by the way she has to practice to do well in the charm school.

18. Kristyn (Barbie in the Pink Shoes)- Bird Snake. The Artist probably fits this ballerina best. She's an Improviser as the whole movie proves, yet has no Lion bone in her body. Also her glee at getting to play -not just dance the part, actually be- Giselle and Odette points to Snake secondary. Bird primary becauss when she's stuck in the plays her system automatically shifts to integrate the rules of the world she is in, no matter how crazy they are.

19. Lumina (Barbie: Pearl Princess) - Bird Badger. She craves adventure and it's most likely an External primary but has no sense of community the way Badgers do. Badger secondary because of how enthusiastic she was to have a job just because she got to work.

20. Alexa (Babrie and The Secret Door)- Bird Lion. All her daydreaming and escapist fantasies made me think Bird primary. I chose burned Lion secondary because in a lot of ways, Alexa reminded me of well, me.

21. Starlight!Barbie (Barbie: Starlight Adventure)- Badger Lion. She cares about people and animals a lot and well, she is an hoverboarder and a daredevil.

ETA: 22. Annika (Barbie and The Magic of Pegasus) - Lion Snake. Her sneaking out plus her Oedypuss style deception points to Snake secondary. Her rebllious and passionate nature as well as her determination point to Lion primary.

Wow, this was not easy. But also fun :D

I finished Wandavision. I admit, I was a bit sleepy during the last two episodes so I didn't catch everything, but I 100% agree it's a writing masterpiece and deserves all the Emmy nominations. If we are talking about Wanda as a character and person....How can anyone watch this show and still consider her a hero?! And the fact that she was allowed to fly off into the sunset at the end of the show, eith no consequences for her actions, makes me ill.

I'm answering these two together cus Jackie is kind of a mixed? Because I use Jackie as an insert OC for several things tbh!

In the original JackieStan AU Jackie is introduced as another homeless person to Stan on the streets. Stuff happens and they ended up working together ❤

In the Mystery farm au jackie gets a job at the farm, before meeting her employers she tries to steal an apple from a tree but Stan catches her. She falls out the tree but stan very much literally catches her this time 👀

In the highschool rivalry AU Stans team travels to her private school to play american football against them. Quarterback Stan flirts with her on the field and cheerleader Jackie is unimpressed, at first lol.

In the Reverse falls AU Jackie works for Stan as his personal assistant, this one is a toxic relationship really

I can't remember the rest right now but i hope that somewhat answered this question!

Jackie has experienced some coldness from her mother. She always pushed jackie more than her sister because she wanted jackie to be as ladylike as possible. She use to love doing ballet but one day before a big performance, her mother forced her to practice non stop on a broken toe which ended up being amputated. She quit ballet after that.

Kevin rescues Stan one night

After some illegal stuff gone wrong, Stan got beaten up by some goons, only to be rescued by Kevin

In the time that Stanley was recovering, Kev fixed all his stuff, healed him and provided a shelter for Stan

They eventually, yet slowly, fell in love with each other

Kevin will meet Ford after the arrival of Lucas, Stanley's son, the result of a one night stand

Then Kevin and Stan will leave their home to go to Gravity Falls and help Ford with his problems

Even in my story, Stan receives Ford's postcard

At first they really hate each other, but they eventually will grow to be good friends

In my version of the Mystery Farm, Kevin was the lovely neighbor's rascal who fell in love with Stan one night of September

Filbrick (which in my version is a gentle yet blind man on a wheelchair) had some commercial affairs with Kevin's father, so it was obvious that the boys would meet each other and be friends

In my Lumberjack falls Au, Kevin is a common man who lives in Gravity Falls that had a rivalry with Stan only to become lovers in the end

7:Are there any songs that makes you think of them?

I think it's because of Kevin's kind nature and bitterness due to loneliness and difficult childhood and the huge impact that Stan had into his life

8:what's their Tragic Backstory™?

Kevin was born in the early 50s by a family of Irish immigrants

His father left his home when he was just a kid

Kevin luckily doesn't even remember his father, but if there is a thing he remembers about him are his arms

"big, red and with veins as black as licorice"

His mother was very poor and had to work 3 jobs to sustain Kev, so since she was always at work all day every day, Kev grew up in the streets, stealing food and money, and sometimes even clothing

Eventually his mother discovered all the Stealing Kevin was making, and she was struck by it, because she didn't wanted his son to end up like a criminal and land in jail, if not worse

So Kevin quitted stealing yet fell into the world of illegal boxing matches

Luckily from there it gets better

His mother and Stan

We both workout and I used to do boxing

i have a bunch of different folders for different fandoms:

kiddos (fantasy high) - let’s just ignore the fact that literally everything fh-related i’ve written or planned so far is abernant-centric, shall we

“no name for this yet” - aka a flat out lie, because it’s now called “The Disappearance of Adaine Abernant” and i currently have 9 chapters up on ao3 and never updated the google doc title lol. i plan on finishing this one very soon!!

“let's ignore the other wip i have to finish for now shall we” - aka the first chapter i wrote for a concept au in which adaine is discovered as the oracle at the beginning of freshman year. naturally it starts in media res and explains almost no context. maybe one day i’ll write more?

“theres a war going on out there somewhere and adaine isnt here“ - also subtitled “this is ooc now that ive seen s2e10 but whateveer”, not strictly a WIP but a one-shot i wrote almost immediately after watching s2e9 and talking about it with my friend. fully 4.4k speculation on what would come next that will probably never see the light of day

greeks (hadestown) - this is in fact still a theater blog and here is my proof

“science SHIT” - a portal au i would love to finish writing some day if i ever found the motivation for it again

“spaaaaace” - an au based on the martian that i mostly started writing over long-ass plane rides last summer, will probably not be continued

yeehaw (oklahoma!) - i am nothing if not the self-proclaimed queen of fic for this 77 year old musical 

“eye see” - uh oh someone got stabbed!

“loopy” - a ghd inspired au i don’t know if i’ll return to or not but really liked the concept of??

“oklahomos” - pretty clear, i think. they’re gay now

“road trippin” - okay i wrote most of the above last year and it turns out i was not naming things very creatively back then

“starlight” - aka the only one of these i actually do still really want to finish because i’m like 13 chapters deep and there’s so much more i have planned!! when will my inspiration return to me!!

i also have a catch-all folder for misc one-shots and original (nonfandom) works including some oc stuff, some poetry, a fairytale, etc. also an original epilogue to Moby Dick, don’t look at me

not written yet but stuff i am thinking about writing at some point includes a fh fic about an interscholastic competition a la mathletes and mock trial, a fic about aelwyn going to college, and a long multichapter fic basically retelling sophomore year from the antagonists’ perspective (do NOT expect this one anytime soon. i’m doing research first.) possibly a fh otgw au? probably something for unsleeping city once i get further into the season, maybe something for pirol if the inspiration strikes? (i’m always open to writing prompt ideas and such!)

Another FroodPad Update

(I’m sending an email instead of tagging people about this one because the majority of you guys have changed urls.)

For anyone who used the original FroodPad (PiratenPad) teamsite for fic writing, the host is taking down the site next month.

As before with the Mozilla alternative, I have backups of most of the text.

Here’s what I do not have:

Backups of locked pads

Chat logs

Authors / authorship colors

Time slider histories

If you want any of those, you’ll need to grab them yourself asap! If you’ve forgotten a password, the quickest way to grab my attention is to let me know via the tumblr messager (or my Discord, if you have it) and I can help you.

As for the actual text of the pads, I have these saved! I can send them to you whenever you like. Under the cut is a VERY lengthy list of the pad titles I have backups of. I can also do a text search if you need.

Rambling and Some Blog Updates

Hey! I don’t really know how to start this, so I’m just going to get right to it. I’m probably going to be making some changes to this blog. Not anything too drastic, but a few things.

For one, the URL. I'm still not sure what I'm changing it to, but this one is long and I don't know I just feel like a change? And although I love Supernatural I admit to kind of drifting away from the fandom a bit, and I'm honestly still reeling from the season finale (SERIOUSLY WTF). Plus (and this kind of goes along with my second thing) I haven't really been posting a lot of Supernatural stuff lately and I feel like it's kind of misleading? Idk.

As for content, I've had a queue running for the past month, maybe more, and I like the fact that it takes off the constant pressure of updating. However, I sometimes feel like my posts aren't 'diverse' enough and so it takes me longer to tag it and load it to the queue and it kind of stresses me out. Yeah, I know, it's stupid, but whatever, I've worried more about less so what do you expect?

So basically, that just means that I'm going to be posting what I want in whatever order I want because I finally made the decision to treat my blog like MY blog. Something that I wanted to do for fun. That will probably involve a lot of Marvel, some of the smaller fandoms I'm in, and of course nonfandom stuff like animals, lgbt+, and just randomness. There will still be some supernatural posts, because I still am a part of the fandom, but they'll probably be less frequent. (When creating my queue I would literally search for Supernatural stuff just to make sure I had some in it and it took a lot of time, which made it less fun and more of a chore.)

The color scheme and stuff may also change. I would say that I'm going to attempt a theme but I mostly work from mobile and I like the simplicity of the standard theme.

Also, in just some random updates. This blog now has over 20,000 posts! And I am unashamed to say I've liked over 100,000 posts, yeah I go way overboard lol. My school is ending in a few weeks, so my finals are coming up, and then I have a two week break (when I'll visit my dad) before taking my second ever college class. I'm going to try and make sure that the queue remains stocked and that my blog continues to have new content, but no promises, so if I go silent I'm probably not dead.
