Having Heather Langenkamp cast as Evie just for her scenes to be cut from the movie is actually crazy 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know Evie had no real significance to the plot but c'mon... she could've been in the background or something!

I don't know if this goes past your rules but can you do like (greaser) x reader when someone in the gang catches y'all like making out?
HOW THEY WOULD REACT TO YOU GUYS GETTING CAUGHT MAKING OUT
Tumblr media
DARRY
He would definitely be the more secretive type when it comes to kisses mostly because all of his friends are immature
But I imagine y'all would be in the kitchen alone it's his day off and the boys are out
One thing leads to another and y'all are just being romantic and showing affection by making out
Next thing you know you hear the traditional caught-off-guard-cough-laugh
Darry looks up and sees Dally, Johnny and Ponyboy.
"Y'all enjoying yourselves?"
"Shut the fuck up Dallas."
Tumblr media
SODAPOP
He was on break at the DX and you stopped by to see him and bring him food because you wanted to hang out with your boyfriend
Y'all were in the back just hanging out be cuties
Hes flirting with you
You know giving his typical sodapop charm flashing you his million dollar smile
He kisses you a few times and it leads to a make out and y'all are just in the moment not really thinking about muchv
Then Steve walks in
cunt
"Hey so what ar- HELLO? WHAT THE FUCK?!"
Y'all both turn around and you roll your eyes in embarrassment
"Do that on your own time please."
"Shut up Steve."
Tumblr media
PONYBOY
Say your older in this maybe like 15-16 because for the first while of y'all dating you wouldn't be allowed in his room alone even with the door open Darrys just crazy like that
Y'all were in his room working on some homework or just hanging out when you totally very sneakily shut the door all the way thinking Darry won't find out because he's cooking
And start kissing
Not even two minutes later Darrys nosy ass barges in
"What did I say about the door kidd- Oh excuse me?!?!"
Y'all create distance from each other staring at him wide eyed
"I swear it isn't w-"
"be quiet Ponyboy. I have these rules for a reason, you guys can come into the living room since you can't be trusted."
"Why?"
"Y/N, don't start."
Tumblr media
Johnny
Yall were in the lot because where else would you be
You kissed him a few times and it let to a slight make out nothing crazy
Two-bit came up to tell Johnny that unfortunately Dally had been arrested for some odd reason
And the SECOND he sees you he's instantly teasing y'all
he's trying to tease you but he ends up just making it really uncomfortable
"Lord almighty, what's going on here?! Save room for Jesus, she might get pregnant!" Insert two-bit laugh wheeze
"Cut it out man."
Tumblr media
DALLAS
Y'all were at Bucks for some party and it was getting really loud
You were overstimulated, Dally was tipsy and everyone was getting on his nerves so he took you outfront for some fresh air
Dally was being Dally and talking to you and kissing you a few times and it leads to a make out
Then Steve walks out
(I imagine him and Dally are actually pretty good friends)
He starts laughing
"Uhhhh, Dal'! Y'know where Evie is?"
"Why the fuck would I know where your girlfriend is?"
"I dunno, just wonderin'."
He rolled his eyes and dramatically sighed
Tumblr media
Steve
You were at work with him trying to help him
Which actually just meant he was yelling at you for certain tools
You were getting bored he was getting frustrated because he couldn't figure out what was wrong with the car so you told him to to take a small break
So he took a break and you both just started talking and he kisses you
After he pulled away you kissed him back
Darry walks in looking for Soda
"Oh, my bad. I was just looking for Soda"
"In the back Darry."
He leaves and you laugh
Tumblr media
Two-bit
Y'all were at the drive-in just hanging out
He was bothering people yk just being two-bit
And somehow you both ended up at the drag race that Steve, Soda and Dallas were at
You were leaned up against the hood of his car and he was in front of you and you were making out
Soda comes up and laughs at y'all
"HAHAHA, Steve come look!'
Two-bit looks at him and also starts laughing because hes two-bit
And your just there like 'omfg'

You're the One that I Want
@steddie-week prompts: dizzy, drunken confessions @stevieweek prompt: girls night @steddiemicrofic prompt: one | wc: 1111 words rating: T | tags: transfem steve harrington, platonic stobin, sleepovers, phone calls, love confessions
AO3 Link
When the phone rang right around eleven, Eddie had to admit he was sort of surprised.
Not that he was any stranger to nighttime phone calls. One caller in particular had become something of a regular, post-nightmare soothing sessions in the first weeks after Spring Break soon morphing into inane chats about anything and everything.
But he knew she was busy tonight.
Eddie had been quick to learn, once he’d gotten closer to the Upside Down crew, that weekly Steve and Robin Nights were a sacred tradition. Ever since Stevie came out, the title had transformed into Girls Night, much like their very own lovely jock herself.
The importance of the day, however, remained the same.
And, it being Thursday, Eddie definitely didn’t expect to hear from her tonight.
Crossing the trailer, he mused over who it might be instead. Gareth, maybe, since he was still sorting out the kinks of his drum solo in Corroded Coffin’s latest song.
“Joe’s Pool Hall,” Eddie chirped when he picked up. “We rack ‘em and stack ‘em so you don’t have to!”
“Munson!” Robin’s voice burst out over the line, loud enough Eddie pulled the phone a few inches away from his ear. “Stevie needs to tell you something!”
In the background, he could hear Stevie’s muffled Robbie, nooo.
“Stevie-Evie, come on! Tell him, tell him, tell him.” The speed at which Robin chanted her words left them slurred, tripping over each other. “Exactly what you told me. It’s like–sleepover law. You gotta.”
From the shrieks and incomprehensible arguing that broke out after, Eddie could surmise they’d fallen into a drunken scuffle.
Finally, Stevie’s voice rang out from the receiver. “Hi, Eds!”
The happiness in her tone made actual butterflies erupt in his stomach. Goddamn, he was such a mess for this girl.
“Hey, sweetheart,” Eddie answered, twirling the cord around one finger. “Sounds to me like you two lovely ladies are having a fun night.”
“Oh, yeah, totally. We totally were. But then Robin,” in her inebriated state, Stevie put extra emphasis on the end of her best friend’s name, “got this bright idea to play, like. All the girls’ sleepover games I missed out on because…well, you know.”
Though Stevie sounded put-out now, Eddie had no doubt the suggestion had delighted her. Indescribable fondness for both girls swelled in his chest.
“That right? What game are you at–prank call the hottest future rock star you know?”
“No, sillyhead!” Stevie tittered.
Eddie could practically see her, smile bright and nose scrunched up adorably. The image was so distracting, he almost missed Stevie’s next words.
“I’m s’posed to call…” she dropped into a hushed whisper, the crinkling sound the receiver made suggesting she had cupped her hand around the phone, “my biggest crush!”
The sentence hit Eddie like a truck, nearly incomprehensible. He felt dizzy with it, the bottom of his stomach dropping out the same way it had on the Gravitron at last year’s Fourth of July Fun Fair.
“S-Sorry, uh,” he stuttered out, “bad connection, I think. You know how shitty the service down at Forest Park can be. Cuz, for a second, I almost thought you said–”
But Stevie barrelled on, as though he hadn’t said anything at all.
“You’re the one that I want!” she sang out.
Her voice carried all the passion and fervor as the times she was alone in the car with Eddie, taunting him with her favorite new pop hit, or when she and Robin were goofing off, having a dance off after hours at work. Eddie could hear it when Robin joined in for the follow-up chorus of Ooh, ooh, ooh, honey!
The absurdity of it made Eddie cackle, momentarily distracted from the racing of his heart.
“Harrington…did you seriously just sing Grease at me?”
“I did not!” Stevie protested.
Eddie wouldn’t have been surprised if she had punctuated that claim with a stamp of her foot. But she followed it up with a little hmph, contemplative.
“–Well, yeah, okay. So what if I did? That-that isn’t the point. The point is…I want you, Eddie Munson.”
He gulped against the nervousness welling up in his throat. “Princess…you’re actually serious right now, right? This isn’t just, you know…the booze talking?”
“‘Course I’m serious, Eds. Don’t know how you didn’t notice–Robin said my mooning was getting so annoying. But that’s only cuz I’m like…totally in love with you, to be honest.”
It wasn’t as eloquent and romantic, Eddie suspected, as a sober Stevie Harrington love confession would have been–but, heart flipping in his chest, he cherished it just as much.
“Oh. Well, shit. Looks like…I better shape up, then.”
And even though he knew what he was about to do would make him sound completely ridiculous–he couldn’t help but smile, knowing it would be totally worth it.
So, Eddie took a deep breath and belted back, “Cuz my heart is set on you!”
“Eddie!” Stevie gasped like he had just performed a magic trick. “You know Grease?!”
“Stevie, you gotta swear you’re gonna take that one to your grave. But…sure I do, darling. You think I wouldn’t go out and see one of your favorite movies?”
“Really?”
The excitement in her voice was tempered by a sudden hint of shyness, the kind she usually hid behind a bold, confident exterior. Eddie knew exactly what that was like–and he felt lucky, that Stevie trusted him enough to let him see the vulnerability underneath.
“Really really. I’m gone for you, Stevie. Have been for…well, hell. A really long damn time.”
Stevie sighed, lovelorn and wistful.
“Me, too.”
Eddie was really glad he wasn’t the one that was drunk right now, or he might have suspected he was dreaming.
“Wanted to tell you for so long–” But whatever sweet thing Stevie had been about to say was cut off, as she suddenly huffed into the phone. “Oh my God, okay! I’m hurrying, I’m hurrying!”
“All good over there?”
“Sorry. Robin says I’m hogging the phone,” Eddie could practically hear her eye roll, before her tone turned mischievous. “Besides…now it’s her turn to call Vickie. Talk tomorrow?”
“Wouldn’t miss it, Stevie. See you bright and early.” Bright and early for Eddie usually meant around noon, but, for this, he was willing to make an exception. “And tell Buck–I owe her one.”
You’re welcome! he heard Robin sing-song just before Stevie hung up, evidence she’d probably been listening in on every word.
As he wandered back to his bedroom in a daze, 11:11 blinked at him from the digital alarm clock on his bedside table.
Eddie didn’t even need to make a wish.
Travolta and his flying car had nothing on him.

"How much do you think it costs to buy an F1 Team?"
"Papa, you can't buy Ferrari—"
"Why not? As much as I hate to admit it, I actually like your boyfriend and he seems talented enough to win a WDC, if it wasn't for the shit tractor and shit strategies," Tony said.
Tony, as much as he wanted to hate Charles, had been won over by the Monegasque. Even if Tony was rooting for Max, he wouldn't be too mad if Evie would end up being with Charles. Or, better yet, he'd be happy if she would end up with both of them.
"Tony," Pepper warned.
"I'll wear you out about the F1 Team eventually," Tony said.
"Just like you did when you asked her to marry you," Evie commented, making Pepper smile and Charles stifle a laugh out of shock from beside her.
"Okay, that's it. Your name won't be on the F1 Team when I buy Ferrari," Tony said.
"I'm a Stark, my name would be on the Team name regardless," she shot back at her father.
Before Tony could say something back, Pepper had dragged him away, leaving Charles and Evie alone. "Would your dad actually buy Ferrari," Charles questioned, making her sigh.
"Who knows at this point. Papa's got more money than he knows what to do with it and he's always wanted a team," she told Charles.
"He seemed to like you, though,"
"Really? I didn't think he knew who I was until he called me your boyfriend,"
"Trust me, he does. If he didn't like you, he wouldn't offer to buy your team. It is Tony Stark's love language; giving gifts to tell people he likes them," Evie said.
"I noticed it's also yours," Charles commented, having received a watch from her that costs more than his Pista, and he nearly dropped the watch at the sight of it.
"I suppose I do like you as well. Just a little bit though," she teased, putting her hand up and moving her pointer finger and thumb as close together as possible without touching, signifying how "little" she liked him.
"Oh, just a little bit, amor? You weren't saying that last night," Charles teased back, grabbing her waist in order to pull her close to him.
"Leclerc! Just because you're dating my daughter does not mean I should have to see you commit cannibalism on her!" Tony called out, making Sam and Bucky ooh and ahh at them like they were children.
Pepper tried stopping her husband but the people around them were already looking at Evie and Charles. Meanwhile, Steve was trying his hardest to give the couple some kind of semblance of privacy, turning around to not look at them in the eye. Wanda and Natasha were explaining to Thor and Vision that Charles wasn't actually trying to eat Evie. And Peter was trying his best to not let Morgan run away and explore.
Evie rolled her eyes, and rested her forehead on Charles' chest, groaning at the absurdity of her family. "They're your family. You love them. You love them." She chanted, trying to remember or else she might end up killing them.

Modern Steve hcs!!
he builds computers!
He does commissions for pc builds and makes a pretty penny from it too
One time his dad threw out a couple thousand dollars worth of gear in a fit of rage, after that Steve kept all of his expensive things at the Curtis house.
Soda and Twobit rope him into making tiktoks w them
Had an incredibly cringe Elon musk crypto bro faze when he was 14 and no one will let go of it
Can pirate literally anything
Pony will ask him to pirate a bunch of movies and he acts pissed about it and goes on rants but actually loves doing it for him bc even though he has told everyone in the gang he'd pirate anything for them pony is the only one that takes advantage
When he was a kid he had unrestricted internet access which he used to watch exclusively YouTube videos about cars
He spent so much time doing this that he is completely oblivious of any and all pop culture
He barely knows who Brad Pitt is how the hell would he know niche micro e celeb # 1849939??
This is contrasted with Sodas complete obsession with internet drama so every conversation they have is like
"Did you here what x did??"
Steve who just spent the last 16 hours locked in his room building a pc with nothing but niche goth rock playing "huh??"
Evie is the same so every time her and soda are together they just gossip about random people Steve's never heard of and he's just 🧍‍♂️
Is the least chronically online of the entire gang though so....
Is fluent in French bc when he and Soda would hang out when they were little and steve would pull out the phone his dad gave him so he wouldn't have to watch his kid Soda would insist they watch a French guy play Minecraft and now they just know french
Don't know how to spell or read French for shit but eh who cares
I wrote some stuff about him knowing how to code and him using it for evil to make fuxked up troll games for the gang to play
Just over all I imagine he'd use the internet "for good" in that he just becomes incredibly tech savvy
Actually works hard in school bc he wants to be an engineer even though he knows hell absolutely end up in insane amounts of debt
I'll reblog w more later if I feel like it but idk I love Steve ✨️✨️

“evie, babe, darling, my love. you gotta stop stressing so much. dustin’s going to like whatever you make, everything you cook is great. you’re going to pace holes into the floor and we won’t get our security deposit back,” robin says and places her hands on evie’s shoulders. the girl’s been panicking over the pasta on the stovetop, having already restarted her sauce for the third time now.
“i- i know, i know. but it’s not…about the food, robs,” evie says and tips her head back to face the ceiling once she feels tears welling behind her eyes. she can’t let her mascara run. it’s expensive.
“honey, hey,” robin is snatching a napkin off the counter to dab at evie’s waterline, her other hand cupping her face. “dustin is going to love you, no matter what. do you know how long he’s been waiting for this day? every time i see or talk to him, it’s all ‘where’s steve why are you hiding him is he dead can i see him’. he’s going to be over the moon.”
“that’s just it, robin. he misses steve and i’m not him. what if he’s disappointed, or disgusted, or he hates me, or he won’t accept it? oh my god, i don’t know if i can do this,” she can feel her breathing picking up and robin is instantly placing her hands on her shoulders.
“okay, no, hey, we’re not going to do that. we are not panicking. everything is going to go amazing. nothing bad is going to happen. you just finished a glass of wine, your emotions are gettin’ high, you are okay. we are okay. let’s breathe, yeah?” slowly, she guides evie through deep breaths, rubbing her shoulders all throughout. after a few moments, evie shuts her eyes, a sigh of relief leaving her body and her shoulders dropping. she pulls robin into a hug.
“you’re right. everything’s okay. thanks,” she mumbles into her shoulder.
“anytime. now, get out of your head, dingus. if you burn this sauce, i’m not letting you start over again,” robin smirks and pulls back to finish her setting of the small kitchen table.
just as she finishes lighting the candles in the center of the table, there’s a knock to the tune of “skunk in the barnyard”. robin’s head snaps over to evie, seeing the girl freeze just as she was about to fill their glasses.
“okay…here we go,” robin whispers and walks to the door. she pulls it open, stepping in the doorway to greet the kid, well adult, on the other side. “dustin!”
“robin!” dustin answers her cheer, wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug that’s got her feet off the ground.
“oh my god, i’ve missed you so much. when did you grow?!” robin laughs once he puts her down and they pull back to look each other in the eye.
“everyone keeps asking me that! i’ve missed you too,” he smiles and she can still see the kid he used to be. “also, what on earth is that smell because if i don’t get to consume whatever that is immediately, things may get violent.”
“that, me dear nerd, would be ms evangeline’s cooking awaiting us inside,” she smiles proudly, tilting her chin back as she prepares herself. she steps out of the way to let him in.
“dude, you didn’t tell me she can cook too! and you mean you haven’t proposed to her-“ dustin freezes as he’s about halfway through the entryway, the table in view. evie stands up straight, her cheeks tinging pink as her nerves spiked.
“dustin…” evie says softly, her voice wavering just slightly. she watches as he looks her all over. from her long, loosely curled hair, to the sparkly earrings and her makeup, pausing briefly on her figure, before going back to her face. “hey.”
“oh my god…” dustin breathes out and he’s moving in an instant. he rushes forward and his arms are tight around her waist, squeezing hard. “oh my god! oh my god, you’re alive.”
“i’m alive. i’m here,” she sniffles, one arm going around his neck, the other ruffling his hair. she doesn’t bother to fight her own tears this time when she feels and hears dustin crying in her shoulder.
“i can’t believe you’re you. holy shit,” he cries out years of waiting, years of wondering, years of confusion and betrayal. he’s so…relieved. “i missed you.”
“i missed you too, kid. fuck, i missed you.” they hold on for a few more minutes, not a word shared before dustin decides to pull back. his face is red and tear stained but he has a smile evie hasn’t seen since eddie woke up in the hospital.
“you look so good! ohohoh this is amazing!” dustin gushes, giggling excitedly. robin’s leaning against the counter with a huge smile and tears of her own she’s not so subtly trying to wipe away.
“really? you’re…okay with this?” evie asks, every ounce of insecurity dripping into her voice as she looks down at herself.
“are you kidding me? dude, i love you. every form of you. i thought you died! oh shit, should i not call you dude?” dustin pauses, eyes wide and a hand coming to cover his mouth.
“what? oh, no! dude’s fine,” she clarifies, a bit awkward.
robin snorts and walks closer, taking her own turn in ruffling dustin’s hair. “trust, she’ll let you know when somethings not.”
“so…does this mean i can stay here instead of the hotel?” dustin glances between them with his best puppy eyes.
robin and evie look over at each other, a quick silent conversation. “well i guess you can,” evie says dramatically and drops into her seat at the table.
she hides her smile behind her wine glass at dustin’s whoop of excitement.

💘
Ooohhh let’s see what I can do with this!!
💘 fake relationship / mutual pining / dared to kiss (I’m skipping the fake part of this)
~
“This is a terrible idea,” Robin mumbles under her breath as Steve threw another bag of chips in the basket, “A really terrible idea, Evie.”
Steve shook his head, pushing the basket towards where Eddie and Jeff were arguing over something. “Bobbie, it’ll be fine. I’ll be fine”
Robin sighed, grabbing his arm to pull him to a stop. Putting both hands on his face to force him to look at her, “Steven Marie-“
“Not my name”
“Doesn’t matter, Steven Marie Harrington, you should not get high with the guy you have feelings for!” She hisses, concern written all over her face, “you and I know how loose your lips get when high, the minute you’re looking at him, it’s gonna come out!”
Steve rolled his eyes, pulling her hands away before turning away to grab the cart. “That’s why we’re grabbing movies after this. You’ll sit next to me, I can keep my mouth shut!”
She shakes her head as he walks closer to the others, “i’m ditching if you end up sucking face together.”
He held up his middle finger behind his back at her.
Tumblr media
‘This is all Robin’s fault’, Steve thought to himself as he slides down the door with shaky hands. Suddenly a lot more sober than a few minutes ago.
Both movies sucked and when a giggling Eddie jokingly suggests some dumb high school party games, they all jumped at it and sat around in a circle to also keep the joint passing easier.
Then Jeff suggested truth or dare.
It was going fine too. They learned Jeff’s first kiss was in middle school with some girl who held his hand during some emergency drill. Robin had to balance a bottle on her head. And Eddie admitted he doesn’t actually hate all sports.
“Dare,” Steve’s mouth spoke before his brain even processed the words, hazy from the joint making it hard.
Jeff snorted as he handed the joint over to Robin, eyes flickering around before landing back at him, “I dare you to kiss Eddie”
Without missing a beat his body automatically moved and pressed a soft kiss to Eddie’s lips before it fully registered. It only hit him when he sat back down and then, he immediately jumped up and out of the room.
That’s what led him to right now. Mind racing, heart racing and panic rushing through him.
His ears are ringing and as he closing his eyes, there’s fast knocking on the door.
“Go away, Bobbie!” He sighs, leaning his head back on the door. There’s only a second before there’s knocking again, “this isn’t the time for a bathroom visit”
“Can it be an Eddie visit?”
Steve’s eyes go wide, “Please tell me this is Robin finally perfecting her Eddie impression”
There’s a surprised laugh, a laugh that makes his already fast beating heart go a little faster.
“Sorry Sunshine, it’s not your best friend.” Eddie knocks against the door again, wiggling the doorknob, “just Eddie here and I think we should talk”
He sucks in a breath before standing up and facing the door. Staring at it for a moment, hoping he’s not about to get hurt.
As he pulls the door open, taking in Eddie standing there with a small smile and a fading blush. He also has one hand behind his back, “May I come in, my liege?”
A startled laugh settles him as he looks over and finds Robin and Jeff giving thumbs up at him, he throws panic eyes at Robin before closing the door.
“Did you know, I once dared Jeff to kiss Frankie? It was during the first official corroded coffin band practice,” Eddie waved his hand around, “we were riding an adrenaline rush from finally figuring out how to get a good rhythm going. Gareth’s cousins stopped by and honestly I’d like to think it wasn’t my idea for the game. But” he shakes his hand before look directly at Steve with a smile, “decided to pass a beer around and all of the dares had been boring up until I pulled out the kiss dare on dear ol’ Jeffery”
Steve’s panic slowly left as confusion floods him instead. Eddie must see it, as he shakes his head with a smile.
“Okay, now that panic is not all over your face,” Eddie smiles wide and takes another step closer, “Jeff wasn’t really trying to,” he waves his hand around clearly trying to figure out the right words, “he wasn’t going after you, Stevie. I promise and I’d like to say sorry if it hurt you. And”
“and?”
Eddie stood still, movements slow as he grabs Steve’s hand, “and, I’d like another kiss. Because, babydoll, I really, really like you.”
All Steve can do is a soft laugh before closing the gap between them.
I’m not sure it turned out as well as I wanted or can picture in my head but I think like it.
Also! If you send any heart from this list I’ll write a little something ☺️

Showering with Dallas [HC] ⚠️also not smut⚠️
I did this with Sodapop, and @audreyissocool requested I do one with Dally as well, so-
Dallas Winston x GN Reader
◘ He’d made jokes about you showering with him multiple times before it actually happened.
◘ As he pulls off his shirt, he’d look at you and put up the offer for probably the hundredth time.
◘ “Care to join me?” Followed by a “C‘mon, make my day sweetheart.” Something like that, even if he wasn’t entirely serious.
◘ One day, you take up the offer.
◘ When you first peel back the curtain, and step in to join him- he’s a bit startled. But it only takes a moment for that to be replaced with a grin.
◘ He’ll say some cheesy shit like “isn’t it my lucky day?” while he wraps his arms around you. It kind of became normal, after that- your showers became shared.
◘ Likes to be very touchy in the shower, often admiring you with a small grin. Loves to have his hands around your waist, resting in your shoulders, etc.
◘ Sometimes in the mornings, if you’re in a rush, it’s more chaotic.
◘ Dallas reaching over you to grab the shampoo, you stepping around him to get the most water, etc. Sometimes he’ll tease you about it, making jokes about “well what’s the rush?”
◘ But if you guys are showering at night, it’s more relaxed and slow.
◘ Dallas might very likely be drunk, so you could have to take more control with washing his hair as well as your own.
◘ And he just lets you, most of the time.
◘ Sometimes he might say “I can wash my own hair-“ and take control for a minute. But, on the other hand, he doesn’t mind when you’re the one touching him, doing his hair, holding his face.
◘ During his rough days, though, he’s especially less touchy.
◘ Washes his own hair, won’t touch you. It’s on those days that you tend to let him shower alone, which both of you are fine with. He’ll catch up with you later, holding you closer in bed. He’s just more quiet.
◘ If it’s you having a rough day, you might prefer his company in the shower. He’ll stand with you, do his usual remarks or talking, he won’t treat you significantly different. He acts normal, asks you what’s wrong and if you answer, you answer. If you don’t, you don’t.
◘ Or, maybe you’re like him, and prefer to be alone. In that case, your rough days and his are very similar in this context.
◘ He gets in the way sometimes, leaning on you while you’re just trying to wash your hair.
◘ He’s not helpful at all, isn’t really trying to be either. He can wash himself and then he’s all yours- you’re still using the shampoo? Doesn’t matter. He doesn’t care.
◘ It becomes something he longs for. Say he’s out somewhere, and he’s just tired, people are annoying him, he wants to go home. He wants to go home to you, see you, just chill out a bit.
◘ Around the gang, he didn’t really bring it up. He loved it, but didn’t care to go off and brag to Two or Steve about it.
◘ They didn’t even know until he brought it up once, when the gang was teasing Steve about something with Evie.
◘ In short, he told them they were being stupid. Two asked him if “he’d ever been that intimate with Y/n.” Dally just rolled his eyes.
◘ “me and Y/n shower together, Two, get with the program.”
◘ So yeah, pretty nonchalant, that’s how the gang found out.
◘ And he sort of likes it that way, having his own things in the relationship just meant for the two of you.
That’s all I’ve got for you today 🤠 Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed <3

omg I'm in love with your hunger games au. how do an of the gang's Victors behave while in the capitol for their respective games? like how do their interviews and trainings go?
!!! I’m vibrating /pos so happy people love this au!
I’ll go through the Victor’s one by one with the thought of it just being the interviews and trainings because I have the intent of writing out how they each fared in the games (have I posted Dally’s yet? Or is that one still saved away yet? I think it’s still queued).
But here we go!
Two-Bit
Two-Bit is naturally a jokester, and this did not start after the games! He was 13/14 years old when he entered the games. He had the crowd laughing, at himself and at themselves, during his interview. People thought he was hilarious, even if they saw this, at the time, scrawny little kid and thought he was going to die the minute that the games started. He had fans in the capitol, especially since he had a more ‘youthful’ness to him. It caught interest and that interest spread.
Two-Bit made himself out to be this ‘happy go lucky kid that wasn’t scared’, a little trap for the other Tributes who all laughed at him during his trainings. Two-Bit was absolutely not the best with any sort of weapons, however he was smart, he was intelligent, he knew how to look out for danger and he knew how to get people to let down their guards. Nevermind he was also incredibly good at stealing. He was fast too, which was his only true advantage in his arena (more on all the arenas coming soon).
Dally
Dally’s interviews had a lot of questions about why he’d left District 7 and ‘moved’ (read: ran away) to District 12. Dally’s only answer was ‘family’. He left because of family and he ‘moved’ to District 12 because of family. He wouldn’t elaborate, and it ended up making him into something of a mystery that the capitol citizens wanted to know more about. Him being 14 at the time only made that more so. But Dally, having only been in District 12 for like, 4 or 5 months, really didn’t know what made him want to stay in 12, so he made himself act aloof the entire time. Other Tributes didn’t… like that. He very narrowly avoided getting beat up before the games.
His trainings were pretty uneventful, and people avoided him for the most part. He was decent at throwing knives, but he much preferred the ax. He had to make it seem like he was hesitant to try different weapons, and yes, his little psychological war on the other tributes helped him win the games. He found he was pretty decent with a bow and arrow too.
Steve
Steve made himself out to be a cocky asshole during his interviews. He did that on purpose so that it looked like he was ‘untouchable’, advice given to him by both Dally and Two-Bit. He had a natural strength to him from working for the last four years. At 15 he’d had plenty of practice lifting incredibly heavy things from being in the working side of the District, and he and Sodapop used to see who could lift/throw the heaviest things. Both of them had pulled or strained something nearly monthly, more so Steve than Sodapop because Steve was 100 percent showing off a little… He did mention having a best friend and having a girlfriend (Sodapop and Evie) and he had no intentions of leaving them behind. He would make it home.
His trainings had people watching him like a hawk, trying to pick him apart as they watched and analyzed him. They spent so much time watching him, trying to find his weaknesses, that the other tributes barely trained, or at least didn’t train as well as they should have. He was incredibly good at throwing knives, however he was also pretty good with an axe since the gang had started ‘training’ once Dally got back from his games. Two-Bit was a tiny bit paranoid and that was a good thing.
Johnny
Johnny was a nervous wreck during his interviews, he was 15 years old and honestly thinking that he was going to die. He cried during two of his interviews and a lot of the tributes genuinely thought he wasn’t a threat because he was ‘weak’. Johnny talked of their friend group a little, and it was obvious that he was particularly close with Dally and the ‘unnamed youngest’ of their group. The capitol citizens ate up the ‘middle brother’ role that Johnny portrayed. Or, no, they ate up the ‘little brother’ role that Johnny portrayed when talking about his relations with the rest of the gang, but they loved his ‘big brother’ role with the unnamed youngest (Ponyboy).
Trainings had Johnny throwing knives (yes, the gang has a theme of using throwing knives) though he wasn’t the best at throwing knives. Johnny was actually much better at hand to hand combat, not that anyone finds that out until way way later in the games. Johnny also tries his hand at the bow and arrow and ends up accidentally making a fool of himself. Which was probably for the best. He was also found to be incredibly fast (a huge advantage) during his trainings.
Sodapop (a little more on Sodapop)
Sodapop! Poor little guy. His charisma has him winning over the capitol citizens with how much genuine emotion comes from him. He teared up when talking about his brothers, and he laughed when talking about Steve and Dally, and there was excitement and energy when talking about Two-Bit and all the of the gang’s (legal) shenanigans from when they were children when asked about it. He gets all mushy when it’s mentioned that Steve had given Sodapop his ‘RANDLE’ ring and it comes out that Sodapop and him also had matching friendship rings, of which he was wearing still (he had both rings on a necklace so that they counted as ‘one item’, it barely passed as acceptable). Sodapop genuinely cried when asked about his parents, and how Ponyboy (the now named ‘unnamed youngest’ from Johnny’s games) had nightmares about it, and he was so young. Sodapop is 100% a Peeta and he plays the Capitol.
His trainings have people sizing him up, people having finally begun to realize that something wasn’t right about an entire friend group getting reaped, even if Sodapop wasn’t initially drawn he and Ponyboy were still part of the same exact friend group. He lets himself show off his ability with a Bow and Arrow (what he’s best at), and that he knows how to fight hand to hand (but he doesn't show his strength). It’s very clear he’s not a pushover, but he is also so kind and helps some people figure out their best skills for the games.
And we don’t talk about what happens in Ponyboys games (yet).

Something was off with Eddie.
Steve wasn't sure exactly what it was but the resident metal head was acting werid.
Well, weirder than usual.
He was squinting at Steve when Steve wasn't looking at him.
Like he had something in his eye.
And when Steve did look at him.
He smiled but it didn't reach his eyes.
He looked nervous and Eddie Munson wasn't supposed to be nervous.
It was freaking Steve out. But nothing short of the actual apocalypse would allow Steve to interrupt D&D.
The kids would probably kill him. "Something on your mind?" Asks Eddie soo after.
The kids finally, finally remembering their was food and had abandoned their game for a feast.
The other members of hellfire grumbled but noticeably didn't object.
While they were still warming up to Steve, no one could deny that the man could cook.
Speaking of, they'd been acting werid too.
Not as obvious as Eddie but they would sneak glances at him.
And whisper behind his back.
"How Max and Dustin are going to fight over who gets my car when they kill me."
Honestly always helped with Eddie.
"My bets on Red." Said Eddie, trying and failing to contain his laughter.
Steve nodded, taking a sip of his coke. "Didn't think you were one to muse on death." Eddie added, he had that look in his eye again.
And it hadn't escaped Steve that the other wasn't addressing him by name.
"Oh you know, wondered what would happen if I interrupted your devil's and doormans game." Said Steve nonchalantly.
Eddie snorted "hmm yeah they probably would. And don't think I don't know you know what it's actually called."
Their was a teasing glint in his eyes, but their was something else.
Something Steve couldn't put his finger on.
"Maybe I do, maybe I don't." Shrugs Steve, trying to defuse the air. It was just them in the kitchen now, the kids happily eating with the rest of hellfire.
He wished Eddie would just join them. But Eddie had other plans. "No, no I think you do, Evie." Says Eddie, folding his arms and leaning against the door.
Steve knew it was probably just a joke.
Another nickname from the man who gave them out like free sweets.
Didn't stop his blood from running cold.
Fear to overtake his face just for a few seconds before Steve bottled it up.
But Eddie had seen it all.
It was all the proof he needed.
"You know, the kids were snooping about the other day. Nosy little buggers, found some old photo from middle school." The more he talked the slowly he was moving toward Steve.
Who was frozen in place.
"Told em, don't snoop around my shit but the werid thing is... Is that they didn't find it in my room. But that's impossible because the only other person who'd have that picture, moved away years ago." Eddie stopped walking, standing infront of Steve.
"At least, that's what I had thought." He added softly.
Steve opened his mouth, shut it, opened it and shut it again.
He couldn't speak.
He couldn't move.
Of all the things for Eddie to notice, Steve hadn't betted he'd ever notice that.
There was nothing to say.
What could he say to defend himself?
"Eddie I..."
"It's true isn't it?"
... And that's when Steve noticed that Eddie wasn't angry.
Wasn't glaring at him, wasn't looking down at him like he would have looked at King Steve.
Eddie was...
Eddie was crying.
His eyes were all teary red rimmed and tears were spilling out onto his cheeks.
He didn't even make a move to hide them. Only looking at Steve with a pleading expression.
And any lie Steve may have thought about died on his tongue.
Steve looked down.
"Yeah... It's me."
Instantly he was pulled into a hug. A warm, loving hug. Steve couldn't remember the last time someone had held him like this before.
A stray tear escaped his eye.
"I'm so sorry." Steve blinked, looking up at Eddie, who was now the one who couldn't meet his gaze. "I should've known it was you. I should've known you wouldn't have just vanished into thin air and moved away... I should've known!"
Steve couldn't take that, this was his mess and Eddie shouldn't be blaming himself for it.
"You weren't supposed to."
Eddie went quiet at that.
Steve took a deep breath "my dad left us, my mum remarried. They were in town and he went through my stuff...
And I lost another fight so I had to change or they'd kick me out too. So I did move, I guess, I had to make sure no one would know.
I had to dissappear, I couldn't be that anymore I had to..."
Conform.
Lie.
Pretend.
Steve "Evie" Strauss had to vanish.
Steve "King Steve" Harrington had to take his place.
"But I couldn't get rid of it...and I guess the kids found it." Steve added lamely.
He wanted to be mad but he couldn't.
All he felt now was dread.
He waited, waited for Eddie to let him go.
To storm out.
To yell.
To scream.
Because what Steve had done, was doing was unforgivable to someone like Eddie.
To someone who was so unapologetically himself that hurt Steve to watch.
To turn on your own....
Eddie did none of those things.
"I'm gonna kill em." Steve blinked, looking back at him and seeing fury on his face.
Fury that faded when Eddie saw Steve looking at him. Gently, almost hesitantly Eddie held Steve's hand in his.
Looking at him, with nothing but fondness.
"And here I was thinking you couldn't be any more metal." He said with a smile, before frowning. "Can't believe all it took was for you to change your style for me to not see you."
Steve leaned in to the touch.
"You're not mad?"
"Mad? Oh I'm pissed, I'm absolutely going to cash in on those murder charges and get your parents sent to hell."
It shouldn't be possible for someone to sound fond while talking about murder.
But that was Eddie for you.
Constantly breaking every presumption someone made.
"But for you, might be the second happiest day of my life."
Steve raised an eyebrow and Eddie grinned. "Sorry love but you can't surpass the day I got my sweetheart so easily."
Steve couldn't help it he laughed, all the anxiety fading away.
He always felt safe with Eddie, with them all.
He never thought coming second to a guitar would make his heart flutter.
"That's not how murder charges work."
"Ah you'll see, baby bat." Steve snorted "bet you didn't imagine the demobats back than."
Eddie grinned "nope but, it's fitting you know. Can't wait to tell the others..." He looked down, awkward "erm they've guessed but... They don't want to assume and be wrong."
"I don't want to tell them." Said Steve, clasping Eddie's hand in his. "I want to show them."
A smile wormed it's way onto Eddie's face. "Well, dont let me stop you."
Steve smirked "You not coming with me?" Eddie chuckled "as tempting as that may be, I can't wait for the grand reveal... But" he caressed Steve's cheek and gave him a kiss on the forehead.
"Either way my darling is right here."
And with that Eddie headed back inside.
And yet Steve never felt less alone.
Having to forget hellfire...Having to forget Eddie was the hardest thing he'd ever done.
And Steve had many things he'd rather forget.
But them...never.
His heart broke when he watched them look for him.
Knowing he was right there, not a touch of make up on his face or his product in his hair.
He'd grabbed his mothers hair spray in a rush and just guessed.
Steve had been content to look from the side lines.
Hiding a smile at Eddie's table speeches.
Watching the kids he'd grown to love, who reminded him of better times.
Steve hadn't made any other friends his age other than Robin.
She was the only one who knew, of course she did. She was half his soul afterall.
He had spilled after Eddie got blamed for Chrissy's murder.
Broke down into tears on Family Videos bathroom floor about his past.
That Eddie could die without him ever being able to tell him.
And yet Steve couldn't, he was too afraid.
It was easier for them to hate King Steve.
To hate the facade.
Because if they all knew who he truly was and hated him.
.... Steve didn't know what he'd do.
Robin walked into the kitchen, an I told you so look on he'd face.
"Well, heard your having a grand reveal."
Steve snorted but followed her up to his room. He remembered when the ugly plaid walls were full of posters.
The bits you could see he'd drew and painted on them.
Now it was like Steve himself, covered in something else.
And now, now it was time to lift that cover off.
He had kept as much as he could.
It had been hard at first but when the vists stopped so did the bedroom inspections.
Robin bustled about, grabbing the bits of pieces he'd scattered about.
Together they somehow mashed together an outfit.
It was something considering most of this stuff Steve hadn't touched since the beginning of high school.
But some stuff he'd made in between... When things got to rough it was nice to remember the past.
"And remember, you've got this. If anyone says anything I'll knock em out."
Steve wasn't sure Robin could knock anyone out but he knew better than to underestimate her.
They parted ways and Steve took a deep breath in. Looking at the assembled pieces, a smirk making it's way onto his face.
Oh this was perfect.
____________________
Eddie was into the game but not entirely.
He was bouncing a leg impatiently and looking at the door every so often that it was suspicious.
Robin was similarly nervous but she was also death glaring anyone who dared to question her why.
"Okay what's going on with you two?" Whispered Gareth, giving Eddie a pointed look.
Eddie grinned from ear to ear and pressed a finger to his lips.
Gareth was about to re-ask when heavy footsteps came down the hall.
Everyone paused and looked at the source.
No one was prepared for what they saw.
There was Steve except it didn't look like Steve at all... His usual perfect hair was all mussed up, teased with a comb in all directions.
He was wearing a cropped hellfire top but it wasn't one any of the kids had seen.
Because it was one of the originals.
He had a battle vest with "Harrington" cut out from his old old letterman jacket. It was decorated in safety pins and various badges.
One arm had a black fingerless glove. In the other was his infamous nail bat.
His nails were red, his lipstick was purple and was wearing eyeliner.
"Evie..." Whispered Gareth, slowly walking towards him.
"It's me."
That was all Gareth needed to run over and jump into his arms.
Steve dropped his bat and hugged him tightly.
"I thought...we thought..."
"I know... I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry..." Steve looked at the rest of hellfire who all looked similarly awe struck and emotional.
"My dad..." He didn't have to say more before the rest were hugging him close.
"I knew it! Knew you reminded me of him."
"God, Evie we've missed you so much."
Steve blinked, tears in his eyes. "How are none of you mad? I lied to you? I went to the darkside."
Gareth snorted, shaking his head with tears in his eyes.
"You could've been an actual serial killer and we'd still be happy to see you, dumbass."
Steve laughed, tears rolling down his cheeks.
"So... That photo was real... You're really, like them?" Asks Will, Steve nodded.
"Cool."
"See, told you. We all love our Steve but no one could replace Evie... And look at you, being the 2 coolest people on the room." Said Eddie, unable to take his eyes off Steve.
"And now we don't have to hear Eddie wax poetry about your eyes anymore." Says Jay.
Eddie flips him off but the rest sigh in relief.
"Or the soul crushing melodies about being torn apart by his love for the two of you." Says Gareth, dramatically holding his hand on his heart.
"Eat shit and die Gare."
"Eat shit and live." Countered Gareth with a grin.
Steve snorted, batting his eyelashes "aw come on I wanna hear all about it."
The original members of hellfire and Robin all laughed as Eddie went red.
"You will, believe me... We've got a lot of catching up to do." Says Eddie, pulling Steve close and kissing him.
Steve melted against him, resting his head on Eddie's shoulder with a smile.
"Get a room!"
"We're in one, get your own."
Steve rolled his eyes, idiots... He'd missed them.
Dustin who had been silent the whole time suddenly jumped up and yelled.
And what he did sent the rest of the party into outrage and everyone else into laughter.
"Wait... That means Steve knew about D&D the whole time?!"
[The party: Steve hiding that he was a secret metal head who knew hellfire and Eddie and in love with with Eddie 🤭
The party: Steve having known about D&D the whole time they knew him and never telling them 🤯😡!]

Okay but biromantic ace Soda
CW: coercion into sex, manipulation, internalised acephobia, regular acephobia (how did this get so dark), not a cw but historical inaccuracy, probably, I'm aware, just let me be happy
Sandy started cheating on him bc he wouldn’t have sex with her after they'd been dating a long time
He would always change the topic or avoid it whenever he could, keeping Steve and Evie around on most of their dates or going out in public
He wanted to want it, and pretended he did because that's what everyone did and he just wanted to be normal, why couldn’t he feel that way?
Then Sandy pulled the whole "don’t you love me" guilt-trip spiel
And man's a people pleaser in the sixties, when being asexual was even less heard of than now, so he caved
And he hated it and told her because he thought that communication was important and stuff
And right after, she told him she was cheating, and started crying and telling him she felt like he didn’t love her or whatever, making it seem like it was his fault
So he stayed even though she was cheating (she said she'd stop), and they started spending a lot more time together and even though she claimed she understood, she still pressured him into doing stuff he wasn’t comfortable with
But he would do it anyway because you’re supposed to sacrifice stuff for people you love, right?
Fuck, I hate Sandy
Well, anyway, canon happens, she leaves, he's absolutely WRECKED
And, of course, he blames himself because if he wasn’t broken, if he could make himself like her like that, she would have stayed
And then stevepop happens because I am stevepop trash
(A fair amount of time later) (Evie and Steve are still friends but they're both gay as fuck) (I love Evie)
Now I want to think about how they get together but that's for another day
So one day Stuff starts Happening™ and Soda tries to go along because if he could've gone along with Sandy then maybe she would've known how much he loved her
But Steve, being a Decent Human Being, notices something is up and asks what's going on
And Steve is Soda's Person. Like the person he always goes to to sort his stuff out and tells him everything and never has any filter because he knows he'll never judge him
So he tells him. About Sandy and about how he feels about sex in general and Steve just goes "okay" and says that they just won't do anything Soda doesn't want to, in his clunky, awkward "how do you human" way that is totally not me projecting on him at all
And they lived happily ever after because I said so and cannot write angst for the life of me

Part 3 of the Steddie Vegas AU!! Is it okay if this is a weekly thing? I know most of it is already written but it's finding time to edit it 😬 this summer is killing me istg
Part 1 --- Part 2
Steve awoke groggily sometime later to a sleep-rumpled Robin telling him they needed to get ready because they were being picked up in half an hour. Directing a confused frown at his best friend, Steve searched his mind for an answer, being picked up…?
It took a second for the past few hours to finally filter through but as soon as thoughts of Eddie flooded his mind, Steve's face slowly split into a sunny grin. He couldn't help it, no matter how much Robin scoffed and rolled her eyes, the butterflies taking flight in his stomach made him feel giddy.
He hadn't been this excited to see someone in a long time! Jumping up, he took his best outfit out of the wardrobe heading toward the bathroom to get changed and start taming his hair; kissing Robin playfully on the cheek and humming a merry tune as he practically skipped by her.
Robin tutted and rolled her eyes at him through the mirror above the desk, "Stop! God, you're gross when you're in love," she grumbled.
Steve laughed, "That's alright, so are you," he teased, pulling products out of his toiletries bag onto the side by the sink.
Robin scoffed, "I'm not in love!"
Steve's eyebrows jumped up sceptically, "No? That's not what you said at the cafe," he countered.
He heard more than saw her slam something on the desktop, "When did I say I was in love?" she squawked indignantly.
Steve's eyebrows furrowed at himself in the mirror as he thought back to that morning, "When me and Eddie arrived?"
She snapped the lid of something and snorted decisively, "I didn't say anything!"
"I know!" Steve agreed because she hadn't said anything, she didn't have to.
Robin sighed heavily, "How did I say it then?!" she retorted.
"With your eyes!" he shrieked, rolling his own in exasperation.
Robin huffed out a laugh, "Oh my god, Evie! You're such an idiot! Now shut the fuck up before I ruin my eyeliner!"
Steve did as he was told, pumping serum into his hands and smoothing it into his hair; running his own fingers over his scalp didn't have the same enjoyment now he knew what it was to have Eddie run his hands through his hair. He sighed wistfully, how do I miss him so much already?
Shaking his head to clear it in the hopes of not letting his thoughts run away with him, he rinsed his hands before poking his head around the doorway to check Robin was done with the pencil.
"So you don't like Chrissy then?" he asked curiously, leaning back into the mirror to check for stray eyebrows.
Robin let out a prolonged groan, "I never said that!"
Humming in understanding, he yanked out a hair with the tweezers, "You're just not in-love?" he clarified.
"Duh! I've known her a day!" she insisted, sighing heavily.
Steve chuckled, swapping the tweezers for a blob of moisturiser, "I've only known Eddie a day!" he argued, rubbing the cream gently into his skin.
She whined huffily, "Yeah but you're different! You're all…" Steve could practically hear her wafting her hands around.
He knew she didn't mean anything by it and he tried not to be offended but his voice came out all squawky anyway, "I'm all what?" he wanted to know, popping his head back around the doorframe.
Robin puffed out a frustrated breath, opening and closing her mouth a few times before settling on, "Romantic?"
Steve rolled his eyes, leaning back into the mirror checking for imperfections, "Why'd you say that like it's a bad thing?" he asked, his tone not as neutral as he'd like it to be.
"I didn't!" she argued with a sigh, "It's just… that's not me. I'm more…" she lamented, and whimpered, unable to find the words.
Steve flicked on the tap, washing the cream off his fingers, catching sight of his wedding ring and smiling softly to himself. Okay, maybe she has a point!
"Reserved?" Steve suggested the word having popped unbidden into his head.
"Exactly!" Robin agreed.
Steve smiled fondly to himself, a reserved Robin was nothing new, but neither was her denying the strength of her emotions. What was new was the way she was with Chrissy but maybe that wasn't as good as he'd first thought, "But you had a good time with her?" he checked.
Robin made a giddy little squealy sound in the back of her throat, "Oh my god, Steve! I had the best time! She's amazing! Did you know she's a three times cheer champion? And she won gold in the regional gymnastics championships! Do you know what that means?!"
He had no idea what that meant, Robin couldn't care less for sports, or medals, or winning things, "That she's incredibly flexible?" he guessed, only half joking, stepping away from the mirror to get changed.
Robin huffed exasperatedly, "No! I mean yes but not what I meant!" she grumbled.
Steve was halfway through changing into his jeans when he paused to think about it for a second, standing abruptly as it hit him, "Oh! Oh, you like a jock! Robin Bobbin Buckley! You like jocks!" he taunted jovially.
Robin tutted, "Shut up! You've married a dork!" she grouched.
He couldn't stop the little giggle crawling up his throat at the thought of being married, at some point it'd stopped being scary and just started feeling exciting.
"We already knew I was into dorks! This is brand-new information! Have you ever dated a jock before?" he wondered aloud, bending back down to finish pulling on his jeans. He knew none of the girls she'd dated while he'd been around had been but she'd never really mentioned a high school love life.
"No!" she whined, sounding unsure and a little upset.
"Aww Bobs, don't worry. If it helps we're very easy to please," he told her, trying his best to be reassuring, "Plus, I don't think you've got anything to worry about, she seems pretty obsessed with you!" he added absentmindedly as he pulled on his shirt, concentrating on doing up the buttons.
Robin let out a hopeful little whine, "You think?"
Steve stopped what he was doing to huff a gentle laugh, thinking about how Chrissy had barely been able to keep her eyes or hands off his best friend, the way Eddie had found it adorable; it seemed Chrissy's attraction was obvious to everyone but Robin, "Yeah, I do yeah," he assured her gently.
She hummed softly and then went quiet, deep in thought and smiling to herself as she ran a brush absentmindedly through her hair, pretending she wasn't when she caught Steve sneaking a glance around the doorframe.
Steve popped back into the bathroom before he ended up with a hairbrush launched at him, chuckling as he twirled a stray strand of hair around his finger, that particular one always had a mind of its own.
At least chatting with Robin had somewhat calmed the jitters he was feeling! Just the thought of Eddie on the other side of the door, looking all pretty and wanting Steve to get involved in something that was important to him was making him want to jump up and down, or dance a jig, or maybe both at once.
He'd never had that before, someone who'd wanted to include him in their recreational activities. Nancy had thought him too stupid to help her with her journalism and decided for him that he'd find the library too boring, without ever actually bothering to ask him. He was never invited to hang out with her friends or to join her study groups, he was pretty sure he was only there to bolster her social standing at school and to keep her folks off of her back.
He and Billy shared a love of basketball but other than school sports, he was never invited to do anything other than "dates" with him, which usually turned out just to be an excuse to hook up. But Steve was certain Eddie had known from the look on his face that he had no idea who they were going to see, Steve wasn't even sure whether they were going to see a singer or a band, but Eddie had still wanted him to come anyway, was on his way over to share this experience with him. Steve couldn't wait!
He was just doing a final mirror check when Robin asked, "You want eyeliner, Dingus?"
Steve wandered out of the bathroom, smoothing down the front of his shirt, smiling to himself when he saw Robin was wearing the dark plaid shirt that was now hers but had once upon a time belonged to him. "Do I need eyeliner?" he asked curiously, he was never sure whether it did anything for him.
Robin stared bug-eyed at him through the mirror, then whipped around to stare directly at him, "what the fuck are you wearing?" she squawked.
Steve looked down at his outfit and then back to Robin with a confused frown. He loved this shirt! El had chosen it for him the last time she and Hop came to visit, short-sleeved and paisley in colours that really complemented his complexion. Pairing it with his favourite pale blue jeans that hugged his arse perfectly was a no-brainer and he always wore his trusty Nike's, surely she knew that by now.
Robin tugged on her hair trying to dampen her frustration, "Holy crap! Evie! You absolutely cannot wear that tonight!" she yelled.
He knew she wasn't trying to hurt his feelings, she just had no filter when she was overstimulated, didn't make it sting any less though; on a normal outing, she wouldn't even bother to glance in his direction, she'd just tell him he looked hot (mainly, so they could make it out the door before Steve went back to his wardrobe to change, and the day was officially over) and off they'd go, but apparently not for one of the most important dates of Steve's life.
"I look fine!" he muttered indignantly, just for the sake of it because now he felt the need to be grumpy. He wanted Eddie to think he was pretty and he didn't bring anything else that made him feel as good as his SuperEl shirt did, or it had before Robin said that.
Robin rolled her eyes exasperatedly, "You're dressed like my dad!" she exclaimed, eyes going wide and immediately covering her mouth with both hands in shock. Clearly she hadn't meant to let that thought out!
Steve gasped involuntarily, and Robin immediately tried to backtrack, muffling an apology through the hands that were still clamped over her mouth.
There were only so many places to sulk off to when sharing a hotel room with your supposed best friend and honestly he really didn't want to hear it! Eddie would be here any second and now he felt like crap. He flopped face down on his bed determined to never move again, what was the point when your nicest outfit apparently means you're dressed like a pensioner.
Steve heard more than saw Robin turn back to the mirror, her hands landing heavily on the desktop, she sucked in a deep breath then jumped up, pacing in the small space; Steve could picture her wringing her hands as she moved around the room.
She was letting him mope because it was better to get it over with, that way he could change before the others arrived, which would be any second and she really thought it best for everyone involved if Eddie didn't see that monstrosity of a shirt just yet because he might be obsessed with Steve but the shirt was horrendous!
What Robin never seemed to realise was that she had this tendency to mutter her thoughts to herself aloud, especially when she was stressed. Steve rolled his eyes to himself and sighed, he thought Eddie would like the shirt, even if she didn't.
Robin sighed heavily, "You know I love you Steve, but you absolutely cannot go to this concert dressed like my dad!" And of course, Robin had to be shouting that just as there was a knock at the door! Steve groaned loudly and dragged himself up to answer it.
He couldn't just leave them standing in the hallway! Robin said he was a perpetual people pleaser, said it had something to do with being left too young, that he'd learned the best way to get his parent's attention or approval or whatever was to be well-behaved. He didn't know if that was true or if he just enjoyed making people happy. Right now he was just battling with wanting to see Eddie and maybe getting a hug and wanting the ground to open up and swallow him whole.
Steve hid himself behind the door as he opened it, only letting them see Robin, just while he gathered the last of his courage. Not that she gave him much of a chance to do that when she immediately screeched, "Eddie, tell him he can't go out like that!"
Eddie said nothing as the door slid shut behind him and Chrissy but it was obvious they were both trying their hardest not to laugh, at Steve or at their bickering Steve didn't know, but even though Eddie was physically biting his lip, his dimples were still poking through.
"Eds?" Steve whimpered pathetically.
And Eddie, sweet, wonderful Eddie, smiled his warmest smile, took Steve's hands into his own to stop him scrunching in on himself, and told him "You look beautiful, sweetheart!" humming and grinning in return when Steve preened. "Perhaps you could wear that when I take you out to dinner instead?" he suggested, cheekily waggling his eyebrows, making Steve feel all blushy and bashful.
He knew Eddie would like the shirt! Robin may be the brains of their pairing but her ideas of fashion left something to be desired.
Steve wanted to snark at Robin about it but that was when he noticed Eddie was wearing eyeliner! And at least three necklaces, a leather one with a pick dangling from it and two different chains. A black t-shirt with an indistinct pattern because the fabric had been slashed as though he'd had a fight with a wolf or a tiger. Black jeans that were so tight they might as well have been painted on with chains and studs and safety pins attached with Docs and a leather jacket.
Is it warm in here or is it me?
Eddie had his head tilted, surveying Steve from head to toe, contemplatively he said, "Maybe if we just... come with me," he urged, tugging on Steve's hands, pulling him out of the room, leaving the girls behind.
Eddie dragged him into a joyful skip to the end of the corridor, straight up the stairs, taking two at a time. Two floors wasn't far but it'd been a while since Steve had kept up with his fitness regime, so he was huffing and puffing. Coach would be so disappointed!
Eddie just grinned at him fondly, told him, "You do look beautiful, Sweetheart, if it were up to me, we'd cancel the concert and I'd take you to dinner instead, but we can wait, can't we?" he asked, with such sincerity in his voice, and not nearly out of breath enough for Steve's level of embarrassment.
All Steve could do was nod, he couldn't speak even if he wanted to, and he did, he wanted to tell Eddie that of course they could wait, that he didn't want Eddie to miss his concert, that he too looked incredible but Eddie was happily tugging him down a corridor, unlocking one of the many doors and shoving Steve straight into their room.
A feeling of awe swept over Steve as he skidded to a halt, standing shellshocked just inside the door, because Steve'd thought his and Robin's room was nice but Eddie and Chrissy had a suite and it was fucking gorgeous!
The door opened straight into a living space, a beautiful kitchenette with dark wood counters and a marble worktop, chocolate leather sofas and dark furniture and gold furnishings in front of floor-to-ceiling windows. And the view! Wow!
The Strip lights were vibrant even against the setting sun, even though it wouldn't be long before she tucked herself behind the mountains for the night, Steve had this absent thought appear in the back of his mind that he hoped he and Eddie would have time to stop and just sit and watch it set together before they had to head back to Indy. Eddie squeezed his hand, smiling so affectionately at him, as though maybe he was sharing the same hope, before gently drawing him through one of the open doors that led into a bedroom.
The bed was huge with neatly made golden-coloured sheets, the decor just as ornate as the main room had been. Not even the mass amount of clothing covering the expanse of the room could make it look any less magnificent, if anything, the touch of Eddie just made it all the more beguiling. Steve just sort've stood there in wonder, taking in the space and watching as Eddie rifled through the wardrobe, finally coming out with a hanger that held what was once a black t-shirt with an "ah ha!"
The shirt was at least two sizes too big for either of them and had had the sleeves completely removed all the way down to the waist. Steve couldn't even call it a vest because he wasn't sure there was enough fabric left to be classed as one, convinced one of Robin's camisoles (that he'd once used as a windscreen chamois and got yelled at for) would cover more, and although it wasn't his usual style he liked it.
He definitely liked it more than the unsure smile Eddie was now shooting him, Steve grinned his brightest grin as he reached a hand out for the garment, making sure to fully appreciate the way Eddie’s breath hitched before his smile grew until it nearly split his face in two. Steve was expecting Eddie to just pass him the top so he could get changed, what he wasn't expecting was Eddie pulling him into his arms, trapping the fabric between them, Eddie cupping his jaw, gently caressing his cheek with his thumb.
It was his turn for his breath to hitch, Steve had seen pretty eyes before, but none of them held a candle to Eddie's; rich coffee coloured, lightening towards the pupil like the growth rings of a tree and speckled with gem coloured glitter that shined like diamonds, so expressive and full of life, he wished he could spend the rest of forever looking into them.
As close as he was he could see the crinkles in the corner of his eyes as he smiled affectionately at Steve, then Eddie was glancing purposefully at his lips, practically begging Steve to lean in and who was Steve to refuse?
He let his eyes flutter shut as soon as Eddie’s plush lips touched his own, as they both sucked in a breath neither of them realised they'd been holding out on taking as they melted into one another.
Steve had never been handled so delicately as he was by Eddie, with gentle caresses and soft kisses; the girls he'd been with always expected him to be the one to treat them gently and the guys, well it was obvious they were after one thing and getting there the fastest way possible but Eddie kissed him like they had all the time in the world, like all he wanted to do was just be here in this moment with him and Steve couldn't get enough.
They were interrupted, far too quickly in his opinion, by their best friends, standing in the doorway to Eddie's bedroom with their arms folded and matching raised eyebrows to go with their "ahem!" Robin couldn't keep up the ruse though, laughing at the guilty look on his face, even as Eddie pressed his forehead to Steve's unwilling to separate, glaring daggers at Chris while she laughed along with Robin.
Steve kissed Eddie on the corner of his mouth, reluctantly stepping out of his grasp, shooing the three of them away with a promise to get changed. Eddie stepped away only to scuttle back over to kiss Steve tenderly on the cheek, Chrissy calling for him exasperatedly from the living space. Eddie chuckled, chasing after his best friend with a "I'm coming!" leaving Steve alone in Eddie's bedroom.
He took a minute just to centre himself, taking a deep breath to slow his beating heart, wondering how on earth they'd ever function when they had normal every day things to do like get to work on time.
Steve could hear Robin getting antsy about being late and quickly started on the buttons of his SuperEl shirt, throwing on Eddie's top and heading for the door; an anxious Robin was not something he wanted to induce by dawdling.
But just as Steve was about to leave the bedroom, he could hear Chrissy teasing Eddie, "I can't wait to tell Gare! Jeff's gonna lose his shit, they were already pissed that they couldn't come with us! When they find out you almost missed the concert of the century for a boy! Minds will be blown!"
Eddie muttered something in response that Steve couldn't hear but both girls gasped audiably.
"Really?" Robin asked softly, something really hopeful in her tone, and Steve wasn't sure if Eddie replied verbally but he could see him nodding and Robin grinning as he finally left the bedroom.
"How do I look?" Steve asked bashfully, fully getting to enjoy the way Eddie's eyes darkened as he spun around to face Steve.
"Wow!" Chrissy complimented.
"Evie!" Robin breathed.
"Um, uh, looks- it looks great! You look great, just needs a little..." Eddie mumbled, trying hard for nonchalance and missing by a mile. He swooped forward and started adjusting the safety pins at Steve's hips, he'd originally assumed they were an aesthetic thing but as the fabric tightened the whole top seemed to settle better. "Of course, you're skinnier than me!" Eddie grumbled as he fixed the shirt in place, stepping back to admire his work.
With the bottom of the fabric tight around his hips, it draped loosely off his shoulders, the excess swinging freely around the pockets of his jeans, the round neck showing off the v of his pecks, the straps just barely covering his nipples. It was sort've... freeing.
No one said anything for a few moments, the three of them just stood staring at Steve, it was really disconcerting and it didn't help that he couldn't really decipher the look on any of their faces. Robin was the easiest to work out, she just looked bemused like something was missing, she pulled that very same face when she was trying to write a shopping list. Chrissy looked kinda impressed, like the difference between the two tops was that surprising. And Eddie had the same abstracted look he'd had back in the waffle house, like he was in a world of his own.
"Eyeliner!" Robin blurted, snapping everyone's attention to her as she handed Eddie a black pencil.
Eddie blinked rapidly before taking it from her and stepping back into Steve's space, gently forcing his eyes closed with his fingertips. Applying the makeup with practised ease and rubbing his thumbs gingerly over the lines he'd created.
When Steve next opened his eyes, all three of them were full on, jaws dropped, gawping at him. A shiver ran up his spine, causing goosebumps to break out and all the little hairs on the back of his neck to stand up. It wasn't like Steve wasn't used to the attention, he was Prom King, he'd been hit on and chatted up and propositioned in every club he'd ever stepped foot in, hell he'd been called pretty for as long as he could remember, but the look in Eddie's eyes was so intense Steve felt almost pinned by his gaze.
"That's just not fair," Robin whispered to herself.
"We should go!" Chrissy decided, grabbing hold of Robin and Eddie and physically herding them out the front door.
Steve took a moment to just shake himself off, he wasn't an idiot he knew he was attractive but he'd never felt that before, although feeling new things just seemed to be a reoccurring theme since he'd met Eddie. Then he heard Chrissy call his name from the hallway, his legs kicking back into action leaving the suite and following her to the lift, catching a glimpse of himself in the mirror at the back and having to do a double take.
Because holy fuck! He looked hot! Like really Hot! Like HOT! And it wasn't like he was the only one, he took a look at the four of them in the mirror and holy shit! Together they looked incredible! They looked like something you'd see on the cover of a magazine, or like a band on a red carpet, or like the leads in that vampire movie with that handsome bloke from that show.
Eddie with his slashed band tee, his leather and chains, Chris in her little black dress and thigh-high boots, Robin head to toe in black with her trademark dark plaid, and him in a skimpy bit of black fabric, showing off muscles and moles and chest hair.
It wasn't a look any of them could get away with in Hawkins, they’d be branded Satanists before they ever had a chance to so much as smile, but Vegas was special and as the four of them stepped out of the elevator into the lobby, they just looked like they belonged, not just on The Strip but together.

How realised he was in love with you - Johnny Cade
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Y/n? Yeah, I mean shes tuff as tar tuff as nails, she's great, funny, and smart" Johnny says stuffing fries in his mouth mumbling.
"Really?" Dallas nods stealing a few on the greasy paper.
"Yeah..and yeah I stay with her sometimes with her parents being constantly out of the house days at a time even" Johnny shrugs his shoulders now fidgeting with the fries.
"I know" Dallas nods giving a croked smile as he lights up a stick.
"We have all these great memories together, us and everyone. I'll always be there for her. You know she's my best friend"
"So, you love her?" says blantley.
"What?" Johnny almost choking on his drinks sitting up.
"You love her?" he chuckles.
"What? No! she's my best friend, no!"
"Johnny, when i asked you, are you seeing any broads, i did not mention Y/N at all"
Johnnys face becomes red - "Well, no, i dont love her, not that way.. I couldn't"
Looking at the thought and feeling in his chest. He tried to shake the feelings off he had been lately feeling but couldn't place it and couldn't shake it off.
"If you say so"
In school the next day as Johnny and Steve sit in the class waiting for the teacher to walk in at any minute when two girls walk in - Y/N and Evie walk in chatting away as Evies eyes brighten seeing Steve as she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before sitting down.
"Hey, Johnny" Y/N smiles sitting next to him.
As Y/n sat next to him he eyes widen face turning red.
"H-h-hi" he stammers giving an awkard smile looking back down immediately.
Johnny not making eye contact for the rest of the class he bolts out of the classroom the second the bell rang into the crowd, not saying anything.
"What's up with him?" Y/n turns to Steve and Evie with a confused look on her face. Evie just as confused shrugging her shoulders
With Steve covering his mouth laughing, Evie grabs his wrist, pulling it down.
"Steve, spill it!"
As Johnny pushed through the crowd, ignoring the heys and watch its, stopping when he sees Dallas by the locker with Ponyboy.
"Hey, Dallas" he calls out with Dallas, looking behind him confused.
"You alright, Johnny?" Ponyboy asks.
Johnny hesistanting to answer, looking around before sighing. "Ho... how do i tell her?"
"Whats up Johnny and tell her what? Dallas asks, still confused, looking back at Ponyboy, then back to Johnny as they stand waiting for an answer.
"How, how do I tell her that I love her?"

THIS LOVE
will be your downfall
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: this is a bit over the place it’s more a filler (I also wrote this a year ago that’s how long it taken me to come back)
CHAPTER TWO: What happened during break
༺♡︎༻
Present Day
“All better.” Viviana stepped back from her daughter to allow her to look in the mirror. The blood was all wiped from her face and the cut on her cheek had a Band-Aid on it.
“Why don’t you go lay in bed and I will make some hot chocolate.” She walked out of the bathroom to allow her daughter to leave. Kenna just kept walking without saying a word. Tears still flowing, the events still clean in her mind on a consistent loop.
The pain is also on a constant loop. The stingy on the cheek, how tendered it was just like her heart now. But that was not the worst part. The Worst of all, was the way their hands and lips felt on her were also on a loop.
“Your mother makes the best hot chocolate.” Steve burst into the room with two mugs. “Kenna.” He walked as she sat at her window bay crying. Her sobs she tried to suppress so much but was no use, everything she had bottled up was coming out.
“Kenna please say something, please tell me you are going to be okay.” Steve sat across from her as she brought her face to her knees, his hand never leaving her shoulder as he pulled her to be close to him as she cried into his chest.
Her phone dropped onto the floor as she clung to Steve for dear life, her screams muffled into his shirt, tears stains on his chest. “It’s going to be okay.” Steve stroked her hair she she continued to cry trying everything he could to calm her down
“Steve, he’s coming over.”
Her breath was airy as she struggled to calm down.
“I’m really scared.”
༺♡︎༻
TWO WEEKS AFTER HOOK UP
Kenna spent all holidays locked up since the eventful night at Eddie Munson’s trailer. The night she let Eddie Munson and Billy Hargrove fuck her.
She tried to blame the weed for a bit but she knew exactly what she was doing. Even if it involved all three, Kenna believed she was the reason it happened because SHE kissed Billy first and then SHE kissed Eddie.
Why did she have to buy weed in the first place? To think about it she never actually brought the weed, instead she slept with the dealer.
“Kenna we need to go.” Her sister Evie busted through her door clutching her school books in her hand. “Max texted me and she asked if we could pick her up. Billy is pissing her off.” Evie leaned against the door, sending her pleading eyes.
Another thing she hated, don’t get her wrong Kenna adored Max, she was a part of the family basically but with Max came Billy. Before that night the two never talked Billy would normally drop Max at the house and leave. If at school would call her Harrington’s Bitch, nothing less or nothing more.
Until now.
“That’s fine but tell her we are getting hot chocolates.” Kenna smiled as grabbed her phone off the charger, proceeding to walk over to Evie.
This is not how she wanted to start the second semester seeing Billy Hargrove, so early in the morning most likely sweaty after a run.
“Hurry up then.” Evie groaned as she rolled her eyes leaving her room.
Kenna looked at herself once more in the mirror making sure her top was straight and not too much skin was showing between her jeans and top. Touching up her make up one last time.
“KENNA LET’S GO.”
༺♡︎༻
“Do we have to go to douchebag Hargrove’s?” Robin asked from the passenger seat, holding her hot chocolate.
“Yes, Buckley Max is my friend and she said SOS.” Evie sneered from the backseat. “Plus have you seen Billy?” Evie muttered under her breath.
“EVERLYN AVERYS.” Kenna yelled at her sister's response. “I didn’t say I was gonna fuck him just that he’s hot.” Evie shrugged.
Causing Robin to let out a chuckle as Kenna pulled up outside of the Hargrove residence where Max patiently waited outside on the steps for the girls.
“Sorry we were late, we got hot chocolates beforehand.” Kenna said she rolled down her window to talk to Max, as she walked over to the car.
“Did you get me one dollface?” Kenna looked past Max to see Billy making his way from the front towards his car but making a pit stop at her window.
“No.” Kenna replied as she grabbed her travel mug from the cup holder taking a sip well aware of Billy leaning through the window.
“That’s alright I know to share.” He leaned closer to her ear as he grabbed the mug from her hand taking a sip, making sure to moan at the taste.
“See you in History. Shame that you are not wearing a skirt today.” The car stayed quiet, the girls in the back disgusted what’s happening between their siblings and Robin held her laughter in.
“Find some else to fuck.” Max sneered, causing Billy to look into the car more. “Watch it, shitbird.”
༺♡︎༻
“Where have you been all holidays?” Nancy shouted as she tackled her friend into a hug, crushing her to show she missed her.
“I have an idea.” Robin responded holding a smirk remembering what happened prior to arriving at school.
“Does it have anything to do with Eddie Munson coming to school early and waiting by your locker?” Nancy asked.
“Well you missed what happened when we went to pick up Max.” Robin started to retell the events this morning.
It was like everything that happened after that night is a fever dream but what happened this morning and from what Nancy told Kenna. Something definitely happened after that night.
“Did you sleep with them?” Kenna snapped back into reality to look at Nancy who was even shocked at her own words. “Not here.” That’s all Kenna said, making Robin’s draw drop.
Before anymore could happen with the conversation the bell signaled for the beginning of classes, meaning history. And having history meant seeing Billy.
“Come on Nancy let’s leave.” Kenna shut her locker as she grabbed and adjusted her books in her arms. “This conversation is not over.” Robin shouted as she watched them walk in the opposite direction.
“Robin is right, we are talking about this later.” Nancy smirked
༺♡︎༻
She couldn’t believe what she saw when she stepped inside the classroom. She felt like she could have been sick, she could feel her breakfast coming back up.
Billy Hargrove sitting in Nancy Wheeler's seat next hers. “That’s my seat.” Nancy exclaimed, her mouth left in an opening gasp. “We will find another one.” Kenna said as she tried to scan the room for a free space.
“This is weird Kenna, weird.”
“I’ll talk to Billy, I’m sure he might move.” Kenna shrugged. “What if you bribe him with sex.” Nancy suggested. Kenna just ignored her as she walked over to Billy, her books clutched tight to her chest as possible, shielding herself.
“Hey Billy.” she stopped at the front of her desk, causing the blue eyed boy to look up and see her standing never him, in arms reach.
“Hey dollface.” His voice was the voice if sex could talk, all husky making her stomach do flips as struggled to find the reason why she walked over. “Is something the matter?” his hand had found the way to her hip, moving his hand slowly up and done making Kenna shutter.
“Kenna.” Nancy hissed as she walked over to the pair whacking Billy’s hand away to stand closer to her best friend so he could not touch her. “Billy, I was wondering if Nancy could have her seat back?” Kenna asked as she felt the other girl nudge her.
“Oi Benson.” The girls watched as the timid boy turned around to face the three. “Nance needs a seat move.” Billy leaned back as he watched Fred pack up his stuff in a hurry to leave, “You have your seats.”
The girls took one more look at each other before sliding into their seats. Nancy still had a sour look on her face. Kenna looked over at Nancy shooting her apologetic look hoping she would not hate her too much.
“You owe me big time.” Nancy mouthed.
Kenna slid further into her seat wanting and waiting for death to come and save her from whatever hell had become before her. But all she got was a smirk from Billy.
How could she have fucked up so badly
༺♡︎༻
She wished she could go home and hide in a hole but she needed to give Eddie the money. Kenna Averys is not going to be someone who fucks people for drugs. Maybe the reason why Eddie was acting the way he was today was because she owed him money.
Her hands grazed the handle of the drama room door. With bribery she managed to get Dustin to confess that Hellfire started after school but Eddie normally sets up during his free.
Soon Kenna managed to get enough courage to finally open the door showing exactly where Eddie is. His back was turned away from him as he set up the pieces, lost in the moment.
“Eddie.”
Her soft voice carried through the room making him stop what he was doing and turn around, his eyes lighting up at sight of her.
Her.
Kenna Averys.
She looked so perfect standing there dressed in her in a knitted collared cropped too, showing off the skin he so craved to kiss and touch since that night. Her light blue jeans hiding her smooth legs, the ones he craved to have wrapped around his waist.
To throw all the pieces off the table and lay her down there as he explored her body even more with just him, no one but them. No Billy fighting to have his fulfillment. How he craved to just see how their bodies would fit again, watching as she arches her back as he cock would reach that part in her cunt that would make her fall apart.
Eddie needed Kenna.
No one else
Just her.
“Eddie the money.” He snapped back to reality watching as she waved a fifty dollar note around.
“What.” He asked, still wondering how she came to wave money in his face. “I never paid you for the weed.” Her breath was shaky as he got closer to her.
“Keep it, call it a free try.” Eddie brought his hand to her hair, tucking a loose strand behind her eye. “I’m not going to be known for sleeping with you for free weed.”
“You didn’t.” He stepped closer to her until their chests were touching, so close that she could feel his breath on her face. His body heat.
“Eddie please.” Her eyes looked so innocent just like that night. “You look so pretty.”
Eddie now had her pressed against him, his hard bulge pressed against her clothed pussy, as their lips ghosted each other both holding back moans.
“I want to throw you on that table and fuck you.” He muttered as Eddie peppered kisses all along her neck.
He felt as her hand traveled from his arm down his hips to eventually his back pocket, the note crumpled in her hand.
“The girls are waiting for me.”
She pushed herself away from him, not wanting to spend another waking moment in the drama room in fear that she would make the same mistake as she did a month ago.
Eddie watched as Kenna walked away, how he wanted to run up to her to tell her it will be all okay, that she didn’t have to feel guilty
༺♡︎༻
A/N And we are back. From here on it’s more plotted and less messy. Also the drama is gonna start soon

And just give me one last look. Darling, the hold you took.
Eddie looked at Steve. He nodded at the nurse as she left and went and sat by the bed.
"Hey, Stevie. How you feeling?"
Steve opened his eyes slowly.
"Like death." He laughed but it came out more of a wheeze.
Eddie smiled softly at him.
"None of that talk here, sailor."
Steve laughed again.
"It's been years, Eds. You ever gonna let it go?"
"Let it go? That uniform is why I married you, Mr Munson."
"Worth the embarrassment then." Steve replied.
Eddie sat looking at his husband. His luscious hair was now a wispy white crown upon his head.
The moles that smattered his skin now had the company of liver spots.
Steve breathed slowly.
"Eddie, what day is it?"
"It's Friday, my love. The kids are coming over to see you today, remember?"
"Oh, yes. I remember. I hope it isn't too much though."
The tiredness in Steve's voice hit Eddie's heart like a gunshot.
He took Steve's frail hand in his own.
"It won't be, darling. I promise. They just wanted to pop on by whilst they were passing."
Steve smiled and closed his eyes.
"I'll just have a rest til then."
Eddie watched Steve sleep. The soft rise and fall of his chest and the rasp of his breathing. He blinked back tears.
"No time for that, Edward." He scolded himself.
He had no idea how long he spent watching Steve but a voice in the hall stirred him from his thoughts.
"Eds? Steve?" The voice called.
"Dad, are uncle Eddie and uncle Steve even here?" Another asked quietly.
"In the living room, Dusty." Eddie called back.
Steve stirred and began to open his eyes.
"Dustin? Is he here?"
"Hey, Steve." A familiar voice said. "I'm here. And Suzie. And Evelyn."
"Hey, uncle Steve." The young teen spoke. "Uncle Eddie." She wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Evie, my special girl. Come here." Steve beckoned her to his side.
Evelyn sat carefully in the edge of the bed.
"How's school?" Steve asked.
"Good. Real good. Dad's been helping me with my physics. Auntie Nance is helping with English." She answered.
"Eds, they set up the next gen of Hellfire at her school." Dustin said excitedly.
Eddie laughed.
"About time! Only been playing it her whole life!"
Suzie looked at Eddie and nodded to the next room. Eddie nodded back.
"Stevie," he said, squeezing Steve's hand. "I'm just going to show Suzie the new flowers we planted."
He stood up and made his way to the door, looking back at Evelyn and Dustin laughing and joking with Steve.
"How's he doing, Eddie?" Suzie asked, face laced with concern.
Eddie took a deep breath to calm himself as his eyes started to tear up.
"Good and bad days, y'know? Nurse left about an hour ago. I'm still doing what I can for him but I'm no spring chicken now either." He answered quietly.
"Eddie, if you need anything... please just ask? You know Dusty and I think of you as family. We will help wherever we can."
"I know. I know you will. Listen, I have a letter for each of you. Information about... you know. Just... read them when the time comes, OK?
Suzie's eyes filled and she nodded as he reached out to pull her into a hug.
"Love you, Suzie Q."
"Love you, Eddie."
They shared the moment when Evelyn came into the room.
"Mom, dad says that uncle Steve should rest now. But they're having a talk so I got sent in here. Hey, uncle Eds, did mom tell you that the DM is leaving and they're looking at yours truely to replace them?"
Eddie smiled widely, dimples showing.
"Evie! That's great news! Your dad has a lot of my old campaign notes from my time as DM. You will be absolutely amazing. Evelyn Henderson, you keep being the amazing human you are, OK?"
Evie looked at Eddie and nodded thoughtfully.
"Can we see you again soon?" She asked.
Eddie clocked the look Suzie sent her daughter and stifled a chuckle.
"Hopefully."
They all went back into the living room and Eddie took his place right next to Steve's bed, hands together.
"Well," Dustin began. "We best be making a move. I think the Sinclair's are on their way and we don't want to overcrowd you."
He leant over Steve and kissed his Forehead.
"See you soon, Steve." Dustin's voice caught in his throat.
"Later, Henderson." Steve replied quietly.
As they left, Eddie lifted Steve's hand to his lips.
"You enjoy that, Stevie?"
Steve nodded slowly.
"It was nice. Evie is so like her father."
Eddie laughed in agreement.
"Without the ego though."
Steve laughed. It was a proper laugh, not the raspy ones of late.
"I missed that sound, big boy." Eddie replied.
"Me too." Steve smiled.
"Where are my two favourite idiots at?" A voice called.
Steve relaxed at the sound.
"In the living room, Max." Eddie responded.
A flash of firey red waves entered the room, followed by Lucas and Max.
"Uncle Eddie!" The child called, excitedly.
"June bug!" Eddie replied as the firey mane climbed into his lap.
"Be careful, June!" Lucas admonished as June climbed herself onto the bed.
"Uncle Steeb!" She exclaimed as she wrapped her small frame around his side.
"Hey, Junie." Steve replied as he lifted his arm slowly to hold her.
"I missed you so much!" She said as she pushed the red curls out of her face.
The red curls hid a face full of freckles. The kid had killer dimples and Eddie couldn't help but smile around her. Her energy was contagious.
"Junie, you stay here with uncle Steeb and tell him about the killer park we found on holiday, k?" Max said as she headed into the Kitchen with Lucas and Eddie.
"How long?" She asked, arms folded across her chest. To anyone else, this would seem aggressive. Eddie just saw the scared middleschooler he first met.
Eddie held his hands up in defeat.
"We don't know, Max."
"You should have told us sooner, man." Lucas said, eyes sad.
"I couldn't. Steve didnt-"
"Steve shouldn't get to choose on that. We could have had more time."
"I know. I'm sorry. But Stevie... he wanted you to live your lives. He wanted you to enjoy your time with June bug."
Lucas embraced Eddie and Eddie stifled a sob as the tears threatening to fall overtook him. Lucas held him as he let himself feel for a while. The enormity of the situation.
Max joined in and they huddled sobbing until they heard a little voice from the other room.
"Uncle Eddie! Mom! Uncle Steeb wants a drink!"
"Coming, June Bug!" Eddie call back, wiping his eyes and heading back in.
He poured some water into Steve's cup and helped him drink it.
"Uncle Steeb, I have a cup like that too!" June clapped her hands. "We are twins!"
"Don't let Auntie Robs hear that, Junie." Steve responded. "She might think you've replaced her."
June giggled with glee.
"Junie, we have some errands to run, shall we come see uncle Steeb and uncle Eddie another day?"
June's lower lip wobbled and she clung to Steve.
"I don't wanna go, mommy."
Eddie slid her into his lap gently.
He whispered loudly in her ear.
"June bug, you said you'd fetch the secret ingredients for the potion."
June's eyes grew wide.
"Dad, I need to go to the potion shop!"
Lucas smiled at his daughter and lifted her into his arms.
"Ok, kiddo. Let's go do that then. Say goodbye."
"Bye, uncle Steeb!" She blew a kiss and Steve caught it. "Bye, uncle Eddie!"
"Cya, Junie." Steve said as they left.
He looked at Eddie.
"Eds, I'm tired. Nap?"
"Course, baby." Eddie said as he plumped the pillow and helped Him lie down.
Steve drifted off into a slumber and Eddie messaged Nancy.
/Nance, Steve having a nap. Hold off an hour?/
A reply pinged through.
/Let my dingus get his rest. C U in 1hr. Also, we have Arg, Jon and Mike./
Eddie smiled.
/Cool. 1 hr./
Steve slept peacefully as Eddie watched him.
Memories coming unbidden to him of their many adventures.
The door sounded and he heard Mike call down the hall.
"Eddie?"
"In here." He called back, softly.
Mike entered the room, slowing as he saw Steve still sleeping.
"It's ok, man. He's just... it takes a lot outta him, you know?"
"I have a surprise for you both. He couldn't come with me coz of work but..."
Mike whipped out his tablet and Will's smiling face was on the screen.
"Hey, guys!" Will said from the screen.
"Will! Hold on, let me wake Steve."
He gently roused Steve.
"Stevie, honey, Will is on the line with Mike and wanted to talk to you." Eddie said. He helped Steve sit up.
"Will! How wonderful to see you!" Steve smiled widely.
"I'll just let you two have a catch up whilst I go have a chat with Eddie." Mike said, propping the tablet up on the table.
He left the room with Eddie.
"He looks so... old." Mike blurted out.
Eddie nodded. He was used to Mike's bluntness after all these years.
"We both are, Mike. Stevie just got ill and-"
An arm surprised him by embracing him.
"I'm sorry, man." Mike said quietly.
Eddie just nodded. "Me too."
The door went again and Jonathan, Argyle, Nancy and Robin bustled in.
"He's in there." Eddie gestured. "Talking to Will."
"We'll go see him briefly, man." Jon replied. "Don't wanna..."
Eddie nodded.
"No problem."
As the men went to see Steve, the girls came into the kitchen with arms outreached.
Eddie felt the damn break as he saw Robin's drawn face and Nancy's sad eyes.
The tears came thick and fast and the girls followed suit. They just held each other.
Mike went and joined the men and left Eddie with his best friends.
"Eds, we are so so sorry." Nancy said as she smoothed his hair.
"I can't-" Robin's voice cracked as she tried to explain her feelings. "I'm sorry."
They held onto each other once more.
Jon, Argyle and Mike left the room Steve was in as one.
"My man," Argyle began. His long black hair now a vivid white. "Steve is asking for you."
Jon looked quickly at Eddie and he recognised the tears in his eyes.
"We're gonna go now. I can't... won't..." Jon Fumbled over his words.
Eddie nodded and waved them off as he walked back to his husband.
"Hey, Stevie. Did you want me?" Eddie asked, gently.
"Eds," Steve slurred a little. "Missed you."
"Missed you too, my sunbeam. I was actually about to bring you a surprise!"
"Surprise?" Steve managed to say as the exhaustion settled in again.
"Yup. C'mon in, ladies."
"Dingus?" Robin asked as she slowly moved into the room.
"Robs!" Steve breathed loudly. "You came."
"Course I came, Steve. Where else would I rather be? And I came prepared with this!" She held aloft their fave DVD. "Room for a little one in there?"
"Always" Steve replied as Robin climbed up next to him on the bed.
"Hey, Steve." Nancy greeted him as she pulled a chair up by Eddie's. "Just like the good old days here."
"Without the weed," came Steve's bittersweet reply.
"Ah, bet they got you on some good drugs now though, Steve." Nancy smiled. Robin's hand edged towards hers, seeking reassurance as she snuggled up with Steve.
Eddie got up to pop the film on and they all started to watch it.
Robin and Steve used their Wondertwin powers to communicate - Nancy and Eddie always confused how they did it.
Eddie's mind drifted to their younger years and many a night spent just like this. It seemed only 5 minutes ago. Nancy glanced at him and gave him a reassuring look.
Towards the end of the film, Steve was out for the count and Robin alongside him.
Nancy was half asleep with her head on the bed and Eddie nudged her gently.
"Nance? Nance, take Robs up to the spare room. It'll be more comfortable. Me and Steve will be right here."
"You sure?"
"Yeah. Gotta be near him for him meds and he doesn't like me going far lately." Eddie shrugged. "I can't sleep without him after all these years."
Nancy began to wake Robin to move her upstairs.
"I know just what you mean"
Eddie's heart swelled as he saw the love between the two women.
"Sweet dreams, Steve." Robin murmured as she kissed his cheek. "Night, Eds."
She let herself be guided out the room and up the stairs by Nancy.
Steve stirred and opened his eyes.
"Just us, Eds?" He asked quietly.
"Just us, Stevie." He replied.
"Will you come read to me?"
"What do you want me to read, baby?"
"The Hobbit. I love you, Eddie."
"You always did enjoy my Hobbit voices." Eddie chuckled. "I love you too, Stevie."
He grabbed the book and got Steve snuggled with his head on his chest.
"In a hole in the ground, there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort..."
Eddie read on and lost track of time. All that mattered was his love was in his arms and they were together.
Eventually, he came to a stop as exhaustion began to take hold.
"Stevie, I just need to-" He paused and panic seized his heart. "Steve? Baby?"
The body next to him was unresponsive. He shook him. He checked his breath. It was going through the motions.
Steve was gone.
"Oh, baby, no." The tears flowed freely as Eddie held his husband tightly. "Please no. I needed more time. We needed more time."
Eddie sobbed and sobbed. He knew he should alert the girls but he was selfish. He wanted his boy all to himself.
"I hope you know how loved you were, Stevie. By all of us. Til the very end. You will always be mine and I yours."
He cried until he had no tears left to cry.

"Let's go see if they're up yet." Nancy suggested as her and Robin descended the stairs. She headed in the kitchen and heard a soul wrenching scream from her wife.
"Robin!" Nancy flew into the living room to where her wife was inconsolable. "Robin, calm. Shhh. Shhh, let me see."
Nancy looked at the bed.
There lay Eddie Munson, Steve wrapped in his arms. There were no movement from either of them. Nancy had seen her share of bodies in her journalism career.
She led Robin into the kitchen and sat her down.
"They're both gone. They can't be." Robin sobbed.
"I guess they couldn't live without each other, Robs." Nancy said, softly. "I need you to stay right here whilst I ring the paramedics, OK?"
"Nancy, they're d... they're de..."
"I know, honey. I know. Shhhh." Nancy held her as she rubbed her back.
She remembered the letter addressed to her on the side. With heartache, she opened it.
As expected, it contained all the arrangements and people to contact upon Steve's death.
"911, what's your emergency?" The operator began.
"We have two deceased elderly males here. One is under the care of the local hospice. The other is his husband. No known health conditions."
"An ambulance is on the way, ma'am."
Nancy took Robin with her outside to wait.
"Fly high, boys." She whispered to the sky with a gentle kiss.
