preston is probably my favourite companion to romance because you can really tell that sole changed his life and i think its so sweet :)

at the start of our story, preston is so lost, unmotivated and is fighting so hard to keep others alive instead of himself. then, when he meets sole, things start to change for the better because he sees the good that comes from the wasteland through soles determination!

and, as you progress with preston, you can see him becoming more motivated and passionate because now he has someone who sees the potential of the minutemen and things start to look up to him.

sole, to preston, is like a saving grace and i love how through all the work and time you spend together, he thinks youre the best thing to happen to him.

by the time you romance him, he finally feels like he has something to live for and sees a future for himself and those around him where they can thrive in the wasteland despite it all!!

in summary, preston is my number 1 wife and i love him so much

Kim Kitsuragi is a fascinating character because there's not that much fun or interesting or compelling about him. And yet somehow over the course of playing Disco Elysium the game rewires your fucking brain around him. Imagining Zuko having a secret crush on Katara throughout book 3 is soo good and angsty and peak drama. What if you tenderly touched my face during a shared moment of vulnerability, and then I betrayed you anyway. What if afterwards I couldn't get you out of my head, so I tried kissing another girl in hopes that might fix it. What if I came back to you, but you hate me so much now that being around you feels like getting my heart ripped out, and I have no one to blame except myself. What if I fell in love with a girl who despises me.

I think depictions of Anya being cruel to Curly or drawing out his suffering are artful and chilling but completely miss the point of the story and her character.

I'm not saying she doesn't deserve to have that "I told you so" moment with him but not in something callous or cold. Even if that is how it happened, she'd immediately feel guilty cause at that point she's not tormenting her tormenter or even the person truly at fault. She's doing something cathartic, similar to how Jimmy likely hits Curly to release rage he can't against the rest of the crew. She'd see herself as no different when she'd come back from the moment and see Curly cowering at her. She wants someone to take responsibility but how does being cruel to the defenseless help? Why would she want the power Jimmy has over her over Curly?

The idea of her extending someone else's pain is just so against the struggles she already faces and how she can't even bring herself to cause someone pain even to help them. Her very desire is to release herself from her own suffering and I doubt she'd even fine some sort of guilty release in being cruel to another.

He literally seems like the type to have his Mr Prince Charming moment when he’s galloping on his mighty steed (sparky ofc) through the kingdom and causing the young residents to swoon at the sight of him when in reality he’s trying to get to the castle as soon as possible just to see his beloved the king!

I love the college of winterhold. everyone there is casually deranged and there's like an alarming number of students and staff who threaten you immediately when they meet you. it's always one of the first questlines I do. which makes it even funnier when you get made the arch-mage of the college. I'm level 12 and got through this questline knowing exactly 3 spells. what do you mean you want me to lead the college. this school CANNOT be an accredited institution
