Aww the births of The Pastel Siblings! Though Leelathae's thought during each of the births...it breaks my heart :( it seems that she view the births of The Pastel Siblings as a way to apologize for her "mistake" (in which she didn't make any mistake at all), even though it shouldn't be like that at all...

I'm surprised no animals appear at Maria's birth lol. I was really expecting for a deer or birds to suddenly appear haha.

This IS making me a bit worried though. I don't know much about child births and stuff but while it is normal to still feel pain after giving birth, is it possible that there were some complications leading to Leelathae's dead 3 years after giving birth to Gwen and Jamie? I'll let someone more knowledgeable to figure out what is happening with Leelathae since I have no idea at all.

Anyway! Finally, a close up on Pastel Siblings as babies!! I know we've seen them before in the portraits beside Jack's bed, but it's nice to see them clearer.

Initially, I was worried how Leelathae would react to Gwen, but nevermind that

I'm so happy about this scene :') Leelathae realizing how beautiful Gwen is, even calling her the most beautiful in all the land. Also her saying as long as Gwen thinks she's beautiful, then what other people think doesn't matter makes me sob. Mother love is always something so touching.

On the other hand though, it made me a little confused now on why she asked Jack to lock up the children and never let them out. Looking at one of the fast pass episode's thumbnail, maybe it's because of the witch? We're nearing the end and there are still so many questions.

Okay so it's called Starlight Express and it's told through the point of view of this kids toy trains it follows the steam train named Rusty racing other different types of trains for this coach named Pearl and one of the defining features of this musical is that everybody is on roller skates so it has the illusion of them having Wheels

Also the history of the show is absolutely crazy like it's made by the same guy who made Phantom of the Opera and cats what kind of drugs was this man on any ways like I said they are on roller skates and none of the actors knew how to roller skate beforehand except for one and the guy that plays greaseball who is the main antagonist of the musical that was his Broadway debut and I can't remember how the injury happened but he fucked up his knee to the point where he had to get surgery he took two weeks off to recover and then immediately got back on stage and there's this set piece it's a bridge and it spins and it's supposed to land in place and the actors are supposed to go over it but there was an incident where the bridge didn't actually work properly so I forgot who it was fell almost 5 feet off the fake bridge into the audience it's crazy and the actors have to go through this like crash course and skating and when they would take their skates off their socks would be soaked in blood but that didn't deter anybody

there's a song in the musical called Starlight Express and it's basically this character whose name is depending on the production mama or Papa and they are basically singing to Rusty the main character that they are special and not to give up on their dreams and I'm planning on getting one of the lyrics tattooed when I'm older as well as another lyric from another song called light at the end of the tunnel which is the second to last song in the Musical that means a lot to me at the moment

This musical is so popular that they made an entire stage for this one Musical and the way it's made is it has this two patches of seats and then there's stage so they can roll around you and it's so cool

My favorite characters are

Hydra which is a hydrogen powered train(he is the one in my banner)

Elektra which is an electrical train

Dinah who is a dining car (she's the one in my pfp)

Ashley who's a smoking car

and CB who is a break van/caboose

Honestly they're all my favorite characters I have too many but those are my top favorite characters

Caboose isn't in the newer Productions anymore they cut him because nobody knows what a break van is hello I don't care what kind of train he is bring back my boy his whole thing is being basically a freaking murderous sociopath I wish I was joking but greaseball hires him to basically sabotage Rusty in the race and he has a whole song that's basically him saying I may look extremely happy but I will not hesitate to fuck you up also in the newer production they made greaseball and Dinah lesbians and I'm so happy there's this gif of the original production where Electra and greaseball are holding CB and then they kiss like hello I know what you are

I honestly don't really like the 2024 version compared to the original or the new Starlight Express which was the second version of the show they just cut out a lot of great characters like the Rockies who are boxcars CB Ashley and the drinking car( I forgot her name lmao ) also I don't really like what they did with greaseball and the newer production like I love her I love her so much she's the reason why I'm into this musical but greaseball was originally inspired by Elvis and I understand why you're not going to keep the Elvis influences on a girl character come on man I miss Electra's Mohawk anyways I'm so sorry for yapping I love this musical and more people need to know about it

I actually haven't developed the two much yet, but they exist! The one with red hair is named Sangria, and the cat is named Mint.

I made them both back around April when the 4th episode of Murder Drones came out, and it was 'cause I lowkey kinda wanted a MD OC because I absolutely LOVE the character designs. I tried to think of what to make the OC or have them do, so I tried to think of something unique for them. A lot of the MD OCs I see are Disassembly Drones, and many of the Worker Drone OCs are somehow connected to the main cast or at least live on Copper 9 (nothing wrong with any of that, btw!). So my idea was a Worker Drone that stuck around on Earth and was still being used by the humans as a servant. Haven't really seen much of that, so figured that was a unique enough idea. When I was designing Sangria, I got the idea for her cat companion because I realized that (at the time) I had not seen anyone make any animal drones, so I thought that would be a pretty cool idea. The events of Episode 5 might mean I have to change the part about them being on Earth, depending on where the plot is going, but I'm not sure yet. After all, I could just say she defected from JCJenson and is working for different humans. lmao We'll see what happens at the end of the season.

But basically, Sangria is working as a bartender for the humans (and she's named after a type of alcohol for that reason) and enjoys her job. She's 26 years old and she's rather friendly, but a bit anxious of a person at times, too. She's also got an Irish accent. :) Mint was built later on to act as a comfort animal of sorts to her (she named him after the shade of green he's accented with). He's only 4 years old and enjoys lounging around the bar and also entertaining guests. He was given to Sangria as a 22nd birthday present because she seemed stressed from starting her time at the bar at 21, and he's done a lot to help her feel better. Sangria isn't a fighter, so Mint will also occasionally be a bodyguard of sorts to her. He has three steel claws hidden in each of his paws that he uses to attack, in addition to the sharp fangs that poke from his mouth. He usually doesn't need to attack anyone, thankfully, and usually only ends up having to deal with rowdy bar goers.

The two of them are practically inseparable.

I also have a third MD OC named J4D3, who may or may not eventually have some kind of connection to the two, but I'm still developing that whole plot line. lol Not 100% sure how all that's gonna go yet.

Sera’s head snaps forwards due to the smack of wet snow against the back of her head. She turns and sees a guilty looking Y/N, their hands clasped over their face to hold back their laughter. Sera sighs and bends over, grabbing a handful of snow and shaping it into a snowball.

“Remember, you started this.” Sera hums, a smile working it’s way onto her face despite her attempts to seem annoyed. Y/N jumps to action, grabbing some snow and forming it into a rushed ball before chucking it at Sera. She watches as the poorly formed snowball lands several feet in front of her, an amused look on her face as she perfects her own snowball. Y/N’s frantically laughing now, practically just throwing handfuls of snow at Sera as they anxiously wait for Sera to finally throw the snowball. Sera’s amused at their antics and she drops her almost perfect snowball, opting to grab two handfuls of snow before running at Y/N. Y/N laughs in delight, kicking some snow at Sera before running away. Sera watches as their foot gets hung up on something under the snow and they trip, falling face first into the snow. “You okay?” Sera asks and Y/N laughs, nodding.

“Yeah, just watch out for that root.” Y/N warns, kicking some of the snow off of the root to make it more obvious. Sera shakes her head at Y/N and moves closer to them, a mischievous grin forming on her face. She grabs the hood of Y/N’s jacket and shoves the snow into it before hooking it over their head. Y/N squeals as the snow makes contact with their head and neck before quickly scrambling away from Sera. Sera laughs so hard at the betrayed look on their face that she doesn’t see Y/N grab as much snow as they can. They throw as much of it as they can at Sera, a good amount of the snow hitting her in the face and then tumbling to her neck. Sera looks at Y/N with a face of challenge and Y/N quickly puts their hands up defensively. “Truce?”

1. What made you ship it?

I actually have a story for this lol. So I have this friend who was super obsessed with Sherlock and she sat me down for the first 2 eps and kept going “see??? Aren’t they so in love???” But I was in the midst of my own sexuality crisis and had a ton of internalized homophobia so I just kinda awkwardly went “hehe I guess yeah” and also very confused because Sherlock is a very confusing show on first watch and just trying to figure out what was happening lmao. BUT as I kept watching on my own I really couldn’t deny their relationship and I specifically remember going “yep. They’re gay.” In the pool scene of TGG.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

Ahhhh okay so I love love love how they’re such a light in each other’s life and keep each other going and found each other at such a great point in their lives, when they were both so alone, and how badly they need each other-

1. What made you ship it?

They're so flirtatious oh my god. Like all they know how to do is be angsty or be flirty with each other. Often both at the same time. Catra and Adora's first scene together is just,,, the homoerotic tension They're just so cute together and I desperately needed some wlw content in my life, it gave me no choice

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

CHILDHOOD FRIENDS TO ENEMIES TO LOVERS CAN IT BE MORE PERFECT

Also this ship and this show as a whole is just so healing and so important. It's a canon wlw ship that such beautifully shows the progression from two very close friends who grew up together and were always there for each other, through all the abuse they endured as kids, to two very hurt and confused teenagers having their lives flipped around, Adora recognizing how she and Catra have been on the wrong side and being able to go join the rebellion, but Catra not being ready to accept that yet and seeing this as Adora leaving her, to two sworn enemies who never kill each other when they have the chance, no matter how much they say they want to, both of them fighting with so much internally, though Catra being so much more alone. Then finally them finding each other again, and healing and dealing with all of their trauma together.

The character development and the development of their relationship is just *chefs kiss*

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have about your ship?

Oooh idk. Maybe Adora and Glimmer interacted romantically and probably had crushes on each other at some point? I don't ship them, I just think something definitely happened between them and idk how common that view is. I know there is a reasonably sized Glimadora fandom, but idk if a lot of Catradora shippers also think there was something with Glimmer and Adora.

♡ . . . REASONINGS : reading over the entire ask, i have come to the conclusion that, in my own personal opinion, you would look best with iwaizumi hajime!

look-wise, i think alone you would be a rather interesting couple! when it comes to clothing style, on your more edgy days, i could see you and iwaizumi both rocking some rather nice looking outfits fit with dark fitted trousers and t-shirts or hoodies — y'know that one outfit of his where it is a grey hoodie underneath what seems to be a jean-jacket of some sorts? if you were cold, he'd shoulder it off to throw over your form, looking away quickly while muttering how he couldn't let you go cold.

i think for this relationship, there definitely seems to be a small bit of "opposites attract". mentioning how chaotic you can be, your creativity and spontaneous tendencies would nicely balance his gruff / seemingly grumpy austerity. iwaizumi also fills out some mentions of what you are attracted to; iwa seems to be hard-working and ambitious to a degree, but he is also very caring and observant of others, as seen within his relationship with oikawa. i feel that he might be used to dealing with people more expressive than him, so i think that this relationship would balance out really nicely and just be so cute together.. ☺️ <3

iwaizumi would definitely respect your discomfort with physical affection in the beginning, and along with that, quality time!! he! would! love! it! whether it would be sitting in the same room as you as you both do your own little things, or managing to rope him into gardening with you or showing him your talent in all those instruments, i have a feeling that he'd love to spend simple time with you.

IKR pe is .... yikes. i mean, pe holds good intentions and it’s quite fun sometimes, but most of my memories tied in with pe are quite ... bad :’

hi i'm quite new to the lovelink/romance club games, which stories would u recommend pkaying first? is it anything similiar to choices/lovestruck?

hi!!! and yay! i’m glad you’re interested in the games!!

my response is under the cut bc i had a lot to say lol

okay so:

LOVELINK is probably the one that’s most different from Choices and Lovestruck.

it’s very similar to sites like tinder or etc. where it’s a texting and match based app. it focuses more heavily on romance, BUT the matches (the people you pair with that interest you) do have their own unique storylines.

fair warning tho: the gem options are insanely expensive. the highest i’ve seen for a gem choice in a conversation was like 320 gems, just for that one choice. regardless, the matches’ stories are interesting so i still recommend it, but warily lol. (also important to note that you are not the main character in the stories. your match is, you essentially are just their love interest who may get involved from time to time)

and also before i recommend you matches, another thing to know is that there’s a counterpart system. basically, each match has a counterpart/mirror, that has the exact same storyline, absolutely no changes in dialogue at all, except they just look different. it’s just so in case you find one match unattractive but are still interested in their story, you can just match with their counterpart and still be good.

there’s a trick tho bc if you match with someone and then realize you’d rather be with their counterpart, there is literally no going back. you can’t swap matches. so be careful with who you match with. fortunately the Lovelink subreddit got together and made a list of each match’s counterpart so we can know who’s the mirror of who.

some matches i recommend:

ROMANCE CLUB out of the two is my preferred app. tbh it’s probably my favorite interactive games app overall.

it’s similar to Choices, even moreso than both Lovelink and Lovestruck are. you customize your mc, you’re the main character in each story, and unlike the different paths in Lovestruck, it’s also similar to Choices where your LIs are all part of one story, rather than each getting their own.

the diamond options are reasonable and what’s even greater is that, for the most part, they really are just for extra stuff!!! what i mean is, unlike some stories in Choices (cough endless summer cough) where you might need diamond choices to fully understand things, that’s absolutely NOT the case with RC. the free options make sure to never leave you in the dark. there’s several times where i’ve come across a plot point where my mc needed smthg explained and the diamond option was just if i wanted extra details and interesting art, but i was also given a free option that just went “sum it up for me/just tell me the important bits” and was still able to understand things just fine! and this absolutely applies to clothes too. it’s funny bc some of the free clothing options even look better than the diamond ones sometimes.

wait i can already tell i’m about to start rambling on how good RC is and i wanna stay somewhat neutral in this response lol. but just to quickly point out the pros and cons: RC is very plot focused. meaning, while the LIs are nice and good, for the most part, the writers put lots of emphasis on the storyline that’s going on, which is great bc it gets you really hooked into the books. a con tho is that their older/first stories are really uh..... hit or miss. the more recent ones are incredible, but the ones from way back when, when the app was first starting out are. well. let’s just say those tend to be my diamond mines lmao.

some personal favorite books i recommend are:

Rage of the Titans (modern day greek mythology story)

Shadows of Saintfour (supernatural horror)(and RC does horror really well, meaning the shit is actually genuinely scary, so like be prepared lol)

Love From Outer Space (sci fi, aliens come to earth)

Heaven’s Secret (afterlife angels & demons plot)

Dracula: A Love Story (dracula book thats... super fuckijg mysterious. there’s a lot going on but just know it’s supernatural/modern day/historical fiction with many other elements in there as well)**

Path of the Valkyrie (viking/norse mythology)****

On Thin Ice (ummm former ice skater/psychological... fiction? it’s hard to tell bc this is a VERY new story that RC just published but it’s really interesting so far)

Legend of the Willow (supernatural historical fiction)****

**** — for the books marked with this, i haven’t played them myself, but i’ve heard very good things. i specifically can’t play POTV bc i have *rachnophobia and one of the monsters freaks me out too bad. but if you can get through it then i really do recommend it.

** — D:ALS is amazing and is probably even my top favorite on RC. however, i personally think the LIs definitely have a hierarchy thing going on. it sometimes feels like the order of importance/focus for romance is the vampire character -> your human guy friend -> then your human wlw friend as dead last. and like, listen, i know Dracula’s name is in the title, so him getting the focus does make sense, but..... okay it’s kinda like a Liam in TRR situation (specifically not TRH that’s another can of worms). where the story and everything is happening because of Liam, so it feels like the story would make the most sense romancing him, but you can just ignore it and romance other people. it’s kinda like that. but don’t worry, unlike TRR there’s no default romance where youll have to like reject Dracula or anything. just that his romance is the most fleshed out.

and this is what i have to say about those apps!! i really do recommend them (especially Romance Club) and idk when you’re gonna start playing, but RC is having a Free Event right now that will expire in a day or so where every single diamond option in every single book is free! so that’s very cool and is a great chance for new players! regardless, i do recommend both apps and hope you have a fun time playing! :)
