1. Why did you choose your url?

I adore the cdrama Legend of Fei and Yang Jin is one of my fave characters in it 💕 Cloud Ravine is where Yang Jin is from; it’s got a pretty sound to it, too, and it felt like a perfect simple-yet-beautiful new url to go with after finally taking the leap to change my brand url theleavesoflorien 🥺

2. Any side-blogs? If you have them, name them and why you have them.

Since October 2011 lmao, so it’s been over 10 years now I guess 😳

Nope, I rarely use a queue unless I know I’m gonna be away for a long time

5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?

Pretty sure it all started bc my innocent soul was looking for Drarry content dhsfds, and then over time my blog turned into a multifandom mess 😂

6. Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

I love Cirilla and TW3 💖 Wanted to change my icon to Legend of Fei’s Xie Yun but, since I recently did an entire blog makeover, I figured I should keep something familiar for a while so my followers aren’t completely confused 😂

7. Why did you choose your header?

For mobile - just needed something pretty to fit the colour scheme of my icon 🌸 For desktop - I love my man Lan Wangji very much 🥺

8. What’s your post with the most notes?

Think it’s a Galadriel one with a couple hundreds of notes 🤔

9. How many mutuals do you have?

No idea about the numbers, but I lover each and every one of them 🥰

Currently 1,993 angels 🥺

1,313 sdhfss, been following lots and lots of new kdrama/cdrama blogs lately and need to do a big spring cleaning at some point haha

Since we upgraded to unlimited internet at home, I’d say usually a few times a day unless I’m very busy

1. I’m a Melb gal born and bred so if you see my posting at weird times it’s because I live on the opposite half of the world. Conversely if I am posting at reasonable times please tell me to go to sleep cause it means I’m up at 3am.

2. I’ve been on Tumblr for about ten years but never really particularly active or involved in any fandoms before I discovered the Thronebreaker community and by extension, the Witcher fandom - I’ve gotten to know so many cool people and my life is so much better for it :) Similarly I wrote my first fan fics about 10 years ago and I’ve been writing on and off ever since - but I’ve never been as prolific and consistent in my output as I have been for Thronebreaker and the Witcher :))

3. I have approximately zero impulse control, if a friend posts a fic or I get an email about an update to a story I’m obsessed with at 3am, I will not wait until morning I will read it then and there. Similarly I am bad at saving edible treats, once I start the chocolate bar/bag of chips/open the bottle of wine there’s no hope of me saving any of it for later.

4. I like to compartmentalise my interests so I have about five blogs now for various hobbies/fandoms because I like to keep them separate - my main is @stupendousbee, my Shadow and Bone blog is @kazbrekkersdirtyhands and I have another one for sewing and dress-making :)

5. I think everyone inevitably writes a bit of themselves into all their characters but as much as I’d love to pretend I’m Meve, I think Reynard and Villem are the ones I’ve put the most of myself into...unsure what this says about me...

I changed my url for the first time since starting this blog to stupendousbee last year, after I started my Thronebreaker sideblog and people started following this blog as well. It’s the the username that got randomly generated for me by my PS4 and I thought it was cute so it stuck

  5? things? ok uh there are 5 things to know about me 

1. i’ve seen like literally more than 50 silent movies. i love silent movies. if i had a second blog it would be about how much i love silent movies. i also love film noir but not the ones everyone else likes for various reasons that would take too long to explain. i could also probably have a second blog about that subject alone.

2. i’m a 30 year old undergrad. this is fun b/c instructors regularly address the class like everyone in it is a 18 year old. masks are nice b/c nobody can tell that im making an annoyed face when they say you’re all too young to remember <thing from 2009> which is the year i originally dropped out of college.

3. i’m simultaneously a fan of the charlotte hornets and seattle mariners. do not ask how i ended up actively liking 2 of the long time worst teams in American professional sports. 

4. this is supposed to be a fanfiction thing according to the title that i did not copy so uh my favorite thing to do is take genre tropes from a genre that is not normally associated with the original’s genre and run with it. my least favorite thing to do is modern AUs which is why i don’t write them. i do seem to end up writing like a lot of murders. this is b/c i love film noir so much probably.

5. i learned to drive a car when i was like 7 because the rural South in the mid 90s was an, uh, interesting time.
