How to Watch the Paralympics

The Paralympics start today Wednesday August 28, 2024!!! (Opening Ceremony) and the real action starts on Thursday!

But how can you tune in?

There are a couple of ways!!

If your country does not geoblock it, the streams will be easily accessible via the Paralympic website or the Paralympic youtube channel!

If your country does geoblock it, odds are that broadcast rights have been bought and you should be able to watch it at one of the links below (or at least find it through there).

The good news about coverage is that all of the sports will get coverage.

The bad news is that not everything in every sport will be covered. Unfortunately the coverage isn't quite there as it is now with the Olympics. But it is getting better every cycle.

And then if you just want get some daily recaps, there will be one podcast I know of that will be doing dailys and three podcasts that will be doing a few recaps throughout the games.

Keep the Flame Alive (Daily Podcasts, both hosts are at the Games. My personal favorite Olympic/paralympic Podcast. It is heavy on America).

Off the Podium (A few podcasts throughout the two weeks, follows Australia and Canada).

Olympics.com (Should have a couple episodes, but I'm not sure).

Anything But Footy (British, will have a recap probably at the end of the Paralympics.)

~How to Watch Pretty Cure in Order - Part 1~

Pretty Cure has many seasons, so it can be confusing and overwhelming if you want to get into it. So I made this guide on how to watch all seasons and movies in order! It’s very specific, almost unnecessarily so. But I know that it’ll surely help people out!

Note: The plot sections were not written by me. They were copied and pasted from various sources. They were occasionally edited to make them less long, or to fix mistakes.

~Important~

Pretty Cure, for the most part, does not need to be watched in order. You can watch almost any season first, and not be confused! There are some exceptions, of course. But I’ll get into those a bit later.

~Side Notes~

• The movies don’t need to be watched at a super specific point in the series. They are never mentioned in the actual series. They’re more like fun side quests. It’s not even confirmed whether or not they’re actually canon. But for those who want to be super specific, I added when during the series the movies aired.

• In newer seasons, there is sometimes an episode that includes Pretty Cure teams from the past. It’s usually not significant to the main story. But you can still watch it without being too confused.

• Starting in 2014 with Happiness Charge Pretty Cure!, Pretty Cure started doing something called the “baton pass”. Basically, during the last episode of the season, the main Cure for the next season will be featured. It ranges from a small cameo, to them having multiple minutes of screen time.

• Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart must be watched after Futari wa Pretty Cure.

• Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo! must be watched after Yes! Pretty Cure 5.

Warning: This season contains a relationship with a pretty large age gap. Specifically, a student and teacher. They are not together for most of the series, though I thought it was important to add. Obviously, this relationship is included in the sequel season as well.

Yes! Pretty Cure 5 the Movie: The Mirror Kingdom's Miraculous Adventure!

Aired After: Episode 38

Crossover?: No

Plot: The Cures go to the Mirror Kingdom in order to defeat Shadow, who claimed the crystals of the Mirror Kingdom. Shadow also wants to take the Dream Collet to grant their wish of world domination. However, when the girls meet Shadow, they are surprised by the villain recreating the crystals into Pretty Cures, who declare to be their opponents. In order to find and defeat Shadow, the Pretty Cure have to defeat their doppelgängers first.

~Season 5 - Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo!~

They want to take over the kingdom and change the Pretty Cure into sweets. So recently, I have been getting into Marvel. However, I have no clue what order to watch all the films/series in. On Google, it misses films out, etc. Can any Marvel fans please give me the best order to watch them chronologically? How to watch Sally Bollywood in the 2020s?

TL;DR: I wanted to watch an obscure childhood favorite of mine but struggled to find it. Eventually found it right there on YouTube.

RAMBLING INTRO:

During my kid to early teen years, I was obsessed with a show called Sally Bollywood: Super Detectives. I made YTPs, wrote her into a butt ton of fanfiction, and made my PfP on Sonic Amino and Wattpad an image of her. But like most things for some reason I stopped watching it, this has happened a lot with my interests as a child I would make up an excuse like me growing up, worry people would judge me for it, or deem the series as being the devil? (I still don't know how that last one got into my child-brain, it was about Yokai Watch btw). But in the past few years starting from late 2020 onwards, I have started revisiting these things. Some I still have little interest in for actually valid reasons but the important ones have all stuck around. (I.e Yokai Watch, MySims, etc) So my next move is to let Sally back in. But without Quobo the channel it was most known for being on how was I supposed to watch it?

SENSICAL:

Sally Bollywood's first season is streamable in full on what claims to be "the safest free streaming service for kids" Sensical. At first, the layout of this site confused me but once I found the search bar I was good.

This is all well and good but how do I watch season 2? Sensical excludes the second season entirely and Wikipedia has little information on it besides episode names and a few air dates. At first, I thought this meant season 2 was lost media but I have actually seen episode 11 Night At The Museum on YouTube. How did they get the episode?

EDIT: The one I found on YouTube is actually season 1 episode 7 Trouble At the Museum not Night At the Museum. Still, there are season 2 episodes reuploaded onto YouTube so still, how did they get the episode?

Likely this is how. In some parts of the world, I'm not sure where the series is available on Prime Video. If you have a VPN and know exactly where it can be found then you can watch it there, I unfortunately cannot. For some reason, they do appear to be missing episode 1 and likely a few others. This will not do.

The full series is available on a site, just out of order... For the most part, there is very loose continuity so I suppose it doesn't matter which order it is watched but I personally hate this! Everything I watch I strive to watch in chronological order oldest to newest so for me there is no way in hell I'm watching it on this site.

Episode 1 is supposed to be Cockroach Capers.

Finally, after much searching, I found it where I should have gone in the first place, YouTube. The official Sally Bollywood channel has every single episode in both English and French separated in playlists but also combined into hour-long videos and mixed around into compilations. All the Sally you could ever want is right here.

Another thing I found particularly interesting is their affiliation with LoliRock. This is another nostalgic show I have always loved, never in my life would I have imagined Iris, Talia, and Aurianna being friends with Sally and Doowee. The category is translated via Google Translate to: "Other friends for more adventures!". They are also both now connected to Totally Spies which I have not seen but know some people may find that interesting.

IN CONCLUSION:

If you want to watch this obscure children's show after the death of Qubo, here it is! Qubo had a very diverse catalog of shows and when it ended these shows belonged to so many different people who know what happened to them! I hope that all of them at least found a home somewhere whether it's YouTube or a free streaming service. I was so worried this would be partially lost now but glad it is alive. This is off-topic but there are four Sally Flash games I'm not sure of the origins of, I'm not sure how to get them working so that is actually lost media right there.

I do have a plugin that can make some Flash games playable again but it only works for games that have been archived. Anyway, enough rambling I have a show to watch bye!

there seems to be a lot of confusion around how to watch Evangelion, or a lack of knowledge on what narrative media there even exists for the series, so after I recently watched all of the short films I threw together a little guide to the main series. hopefully this is reasonably comprehensible and will be helpful to someone. don't know if anyone has done this before, someone probably has but I wouldn't know how to find it.

It’s not ignorance! It’s not super well known as it’s not shared to much. So if you are in the USA or have a vpn to make it appear you are you can watch on the nhl network, that will be on FUBOtv you can get a free seven day trial to watch, I remake accounts when ever there is a game as it tracks only email and ip address not credit card used for the trial, just be sure if you do it a lot that you use a vpn or they will block your IP address. If you are in Canada or have a vpn to make you appear in Canada it will be broadcasted on TSN I’m not as sure how to access that I’m sure they have some kind of subscription or will be streaming it!

Plot: A spring carnival held in the country of dance and song, Harmonia, is beginning. Haruka Haruno and her friends also join the festival to learn dance and song from their senior Precure warriors. However, the fairies go missing, and the carnival is thrown into confusion. Even worse, the announcers Odoren and Utaen seem extremely suspicious, and the guardian dragon of Harmonia has started a rampage, angry at the chaos at the carnival.
