A gasp came from my mouth as I stared from this spot. It was breathtaking! It felt as though it was a painting and not an actual place. I feel like that a lot when I hike in Sweden. As we wandered through Hovfjallet, we saw some trees shaped strangely. It looked as if the tree had a rough upbringing but kept pushing to reach for the sky. Nature has always amazed me. The birds chirped loudly as we hiked up to a wonderful view. This was a way we were preparing for our hike up Kebnekaise. Boy, was that a hard one! My hubby, doggie, and I enjoyed this nice hike in Hovfjället Nature Reserve. The view from Hovfjället trail was amazing! The clearing showed the nature below which was beautiful. This is one of the many reasons why I enjoy living in Sweden. Our journey began with us walking on plank boards since this area can get swampy during rainy season. We prepared for our trip to the highest mountain in Sweden.
