“you really called off a photoshoot just to come take care of me? you know you didn’t have to,” you said, smiling softly. neige shook his head.

“oh, i know, i know. but i just couldn’t help myself. the thought of you being all alone while sick just makes me so sad!” he pouts, taking your hands in his. “so i had to come! now, come on and lay down. take it easy and just leave everything to me! i’ll take good care of you.”

he babies you so hard, it’s to the point you almost feel embarrassed. like, he spoons feed you and everything. but he seems no shame in it!

he also decides to take it upon himself to do all ramshackle’s housekeeping and chores for you. (househusband material, honestly.)

no matter how many times you warn him that your sickness is contagious, he can’t resist giving you little kisses throughout the day. so it was no surprise when he called saying he was sick the next day…

“don’t say you didn’t expect this to happen, neige.”

neige only let out a whine and hid his face in the fluffy pile of blankets you brought him. as much as you wanted to scold him for not listening to your warnings, seeing him in such a pitiful state made it impossible.

you’ll save the lecture for later. for now, you’ll be gentle with him, just like he was with you while you were sick.

che’nya

“oh my, you’re not looking too well!” che’nya chuckles, quirking his head to the side as he looks at you. “well, don’t worry. nurse artemiy artemiyevich pinker is here to help you recover!”

you didn’t have the highest expectations when it came to his caregiving skills, but he actually does really well at taking care of you. he’s very attentive when it comes to your needs. be warned though, he will ask you if you’re feeling better like every 20 minutes just to annoy you.

he’ll exaggerate his cat behaviors to entertain you— and maybe to get you to coo over him being cute. he’ll knead blankets (or perhaps your lap if he wants to rest there instead), bump his head against you, and the like. if you had a cat toy, he’d probably play with it. all without feeling the slightest bit of embarrassment too.

“i’ve gotta ask… did you really come here to take care of me, or was this just an elaborate plan to get me to pet you?” you joked as you scratched behind che’nya’s ears.

“oh no, you’ve caught on! i just came for some pets,” he teased back, purring and leaning into your touch. “— just kidding, of course. hehe.”

you chuckle and lay your head against his chest, listening to the calming sound of his purring as you drift off to sleep.

rollo flamme

you got sick from getting hit by several spells. the perpetrators were none other than ace and deuce, whose fight you accidentally got caught in the crossfire of. (they’ve apologized to you over ten times for this..)

with all the chaos that’s been thrown your way so far, you hardly cared. this is just another tuesday at nrc for you. but you know who did care? rollo.

needless to say, he was not happy to hear of this situation. it’s only served to support his resolve of wanting to eradicate magic.

he tries to hide his anger about the context of how you got sick… and he doesn’t do a good job at it. you’ll look at him once in a while and his face will be twisted up in a scowl. or sometimes you’ll hear him muttering under his breath about “vile reckless mages…” and the like.

knowing how no-nonsense he is, you were a bit nervous about being in his care. but he ended up being a lot more gentle with you than you expected! (… he still made you study though. no falling behind in school on his watch.)

just like neige, he took it upon himself to do all the housekeeping for you. and you swear, you’ve never seen ramshackle so spotless. rollo does not play when it comes to cleanliness.

you watch in amusement as ace and deuce desperately try to convince rollo to let them enter your dorm. rollo is not even slightly swayed by their pleas, standing his ground on not letting them step foot in ramshackle.

“you two are the reason the prefect is ill in the first place. you’ve proven yourselves to be dangerous. i will not take the risk of letting you miscreants in and causing any more trouble for them.” rollo glares down at the pair, getting ready to shut the door on them. you quietly laugh at how protective he’s being.

you walk over to rollo, gently pulling him away from the door to let ace and deuce in. “come on, rollo. let them in. i’m sure they’ll be on their best behavior, especially with you here watching them like a hawk.”

rollo sighs and finally relaxes. “hmph… fine.”

it is so so important to me that Aziraphale said “I forgive you”

there’s a variety of theories floating about out there but I personally believe he was saying “I forgive you” in the celestial sense because like. Aziraphale is basically the right hand of God now, right? So saying “I forgive you” is him saying “I’m not going to condemn you or cast you out for rejecting Heaven.” “I forgive you” as in “I won’t hold this choice against you.”

So the “I forgive you” leaves the door open. Aziraphale is waiting for Crowley to change his mind. Crowley is waiting for Aziraphale to come to his senses. So S3 is gonna be all about who caves in first, which is basically like putting two marbles on a slope & seeing which one gravity decides will reach its inevitable conclusion first.

bottom line is these are two beings who love each other and know they both want to spend eternity together but they’re currently having a disagreement over a job offer. A job offer from an historically corrupt company that Aziraphale believes could make a difference in the world with the right person in charge. The problem is not only is he not actually going to be in charge, but this job is going to move them across the universe from the home they’ve built together & force them to give up all of their prized worldly possessions while also requiring both of them to be working for said company. A company that Crowley was fired from several millennia ago all because he asked too many questions and didn’t agree with what management was doing. And now that he’s gotten comfortable being a plantdad-househusband who fudges memos to home office, he really doesn’t want to return to any work at all, let alone for the awful company that fired him in the first place.

So either Aziraphale needs to actually start making a enough of a positive difference that Crowley can admit that Heaven is sort of alright now (unlikely), or, after Aziraphale makes some sweeping celestial changes, he realises his work is basically done so he can leave the company in good hands (hello Muriel) and go back home to his life & his husband, kiss & make up, and live happily ever after (even more unlikely).

OR — and most likely — Aziraphale needs to realise that no matter what he does he can’t change The Way Things Are bc the system of Heaven & Hell itself is broken and needs to be demolished. So he abandons Heaven, reunites with Crowley, does the I Was Wrong dance, and fights alongside the humans in the upcoming Us vs Them battle, hand-in-hand with the love of his nearly-endless existence. And then we’ll ALL live happily ever after.

bottom line: it’s all going to be alright.

Last Song: Not 100% sure since I was listening to a song compilation of the Silent Hill vocal tracks. I don't remember the specific song that I listened to last, but it was probably "I Want Love". Here's the compilation:

Last Movie: I think maybe Barbie? I can't remember

Last Show: Sakamoto Days (though I've technically been listening to my kid's shows in the background, so it could have been one of those)

Sweet/Spicy/Savory: depends on the day, but I lean towards sweet

Relationship: Married for almost 7 years now, been together for almost 18. Kinda crazy to think it's been that long lol. And yes we waited that long to get married. It was worth it. We lived together for awhile before getting hitched, and had like a 5 year engagement so we really got to know each other and grow together. We're very happy and have the cutest 3yo in the world 😊

Favorite Food: had to do this one! Definitely my mom's sinigang. I love it so much.

Last thing I Googled: frequent low fevers (yeah I've been sick for... awhile.)

Current Obsession: my Codywan cross stitch! It's so fun, even though it's taking ages to do. Also making Magic the Gathering EDH decks on Moxfield.

Looking forward to: getting our Magic card collection fully sorted. Between my spouse and I, we've been collecting on and off since 7th Edition (I am very smug to say I've been in the game longer) so we have quite a few cards. It was really neat to find some precious pieces of cardboard and finding out what they're worth. Most were only a few cents, but every once in a while we would hit the jackpot, including some unexpected cards. Also the memories attached to the various cards were very nice. Oona Queen of the Fae is still queen of my heart ❤️

Random headcannons I have about characters in Twistes Wonderland

Is an absolute slut for tacobell, or a fast food white people taco place. Listen, hear me out, as much he cares about dieting and fitness, some days he just craves fast food. Like that one scene in shrek 2 were Fairy Godmother gets mad and asked the driver to pull over and ruins her diet. He probably stress eats in secret, maybe on the bathroom floor and cries.

Scams other students ( and Crowley) saying that he has their account/social security/phone hostage and the only way to get it back is to send money or give more account information so he could steal the account and sell it back to them.

Leona Kingscholar

The WORST picky eater ever. I could see him as a child refusing to eat anything that wasn't a fucking steak or burger. Like, he and his family would sit at the table and the family would start arguing about Leona not eating his dinner. Mom (because lioness are like head of the househusband) telling him that he isn't getting up untill he finishes his plate, the dad trying to defuse the situation while Falena is like "look! I finished my plate mom! Le Le you should eat it!" . This motherfucker still refuse to eat anything that's just green, but he can eat more things that aren't just meat, so there is small improvement.

Malleus Draciona

He really thought everyone came out of eggs for the longest time. Also I feel like due to him being absent from most social gathering he doesn't have the best social skills, so he will randomly state something that has nothing to due with the conversation. Also I think if he is ever introduced to a DS he would stay in chatrooms thinking and hoping for someone to join. (Very old device so no public chatrooms).

Idk these were things I have on the top of my head, send me stuff to think about.

Man seeing Crowley living with Clara clearly gonna spread rumors about it. I'm sure Yuu, Grimm, Ace, and Deuce will visit him to see if he is okay...while also being weird out.

I mean that's assuming they hear about it in a timely manner, because this is after he loses his job in the headmistress rosehearts au, and like a lost dog with nowhere else go, ends up on Claras doorstep. Because as much as they argue and have a messy relationship, Clara is still the most kindhearted and reliable person he knows.

So while the gang at NRC don't really know about where Crowley is, he sort of vanished after getting the boot, and all their phones and laptops quickly confiscated not long after. The White Ash girls, however, know. Claras house is right next to the school, there's literally just a gate and a small path connecting the two properties. Clara, has a ward of her own, Lily comes and goes to the house whenever she wants, since it's her home too when she's not in the dorms.

"Hello Miss Clara. Hello Mr. Crowley. .....Why is Mr. Crowley in our kitchen?" It's not long after that that some of the other girls find out and it kind of becomes a school secret that Crowley is crashing at the headmages house.

Meanwhile if Yuu and the gang do manage to bust out of NRC, they're going to find Crowley in a frilly apron househusbanding for Clara. lol

They remain friends, but don’t realise they’re both supernatural entities, up until Armageddon. I can’t recall too many details, as it was one of the first fics I ever read in this fandom, except for the fact that there’s a scene with Crowley dropping a container of holy water in a church and Aziraphale catching it.If anyone knows what I’m talking about, please let me know. Day 6: Farewell / Dorm Leaders

He should have known better. A caged canary wouldn’t sing for him.

Originally, I wanted to write for the Dorm Leaders, but it got messy trying to write for all seven in a short piece. Instead, we’re going to focus on 🦁 (plus a brief 🐆 appearance)!

There’s some callbacks back to my EBG storyline, for those who recall that. Also there is Jade being a dutiful pretend househusband—

“Jade, I’m heading out!” Raven called from the doorway. “I’ll be back by lunch time.”

“Fufu. Very well, then.” Jade offered a practiced smile. “If, by chance, you are not back by noon, I will come and fetch you myself.”

“There shouldn’t be any need for that,” she insisted, feathers bristling. “It is meant to be a quick meeting—just to see if the dorm has been behaving.”

“Perhaps I would be more inclined to believe in your safety if you hadn’t been held hostage the last time you visited Savanaclaw.” His teeth made themselves known, flashing dangerously despite his calm eyes. “Now, who was it that had to come and pick you up from the lion’s den?”

“Don’t remind me,” Raven sighed. “I’d... I’d like to think that Leona-san has changed since then, that he has learned to be more of a capable leader. Even if it is just a little.”

“... We shall have to see.” There was a touch of shrewdness in Jade’s voice. “Have a safe trip to Savanaclaw, Miss Raven. I eagerly await your return.”

As per usual, the lion was lounging in his bed when she, clipboard in hand, arrived. Raven knocked on his door to announce her arrival—and, as expected, Leona ignored it. She frowned and tried again—louder this time, earning a groan.

He (finally) rolled over, casting a glare her way. His mouth tugged into a smirk when he realized who it was calling for his attention. “Well, well, well... If it isn’t the little canary. Come to do the headmaster’s dirty work, have you?”

“He’s busy. I’m here in his place for weekly inspections.” Raven glanced at her clipboard, then back to Leona. “... You know, to avoid another confrontation where your dorm members gang up on Uncle and demand more funding.”

Leona snorted. “A necessary move, if we were to get him to act.”

“... I would disagree, but that’s not the point of my visit.” Raven ran her eyes down the checklist Crowley had provided for her. “I trust you’ve familiarized yourself with the arrangement by now?”

3 months’ worth of good behavior, and I will grant their request for Magift Stadium renovations, the headmaster had promised, along with an assortment of brand new equipment. That meant limited brawling, maintaining non-failing grades, and definitely no hostage situations. Subject to weekly review by a third party, of course—the very reason for Raven’s presence.

“Yeah, yeah. You don’t need to recite it again. Hurry it up with the questions, I don’t have all day.”

... You were literally just napping when I walked in. She held her tongue on that comment

“How many fights have there been since the start of the probation period?”

“Six.”

“How many instances were these fights so violent that they required medical care or a trip to the infirmary?”

“Zero.”

“Did the parties involved in said fights attend the debriefing session recommended by the headmaster?”

“Some, not all.”

Back and forth they went, questions and answers rocketing between them, like the disc in a game of Magift. Raven’s inquiries were fast, but Leona’s responses were even faster, and pithy. It was times like this when she was reminded that he was far more sharp than he initially let on.

“... We’re done,” Raven declared, marking off the reply to her last question. “Do you have any additional comments to make?”

Leona propped his face up with a hand. His tail swished lazily behind him as he regarded her through emerald eyes. “Hmph. You’re colder than expected, canary. Eager to get the job over with before you fly back to that cage you call an attic?”

“I’d appreciate it if you didn’t refer to my home like that,” Raven retorted. So much for Leona-san changing for the better.

“Isn’t it one?” Leona struck, pouncing on her annoyance. “I hear one of the Leeches has invaded your home. It may as well be a cage with an eel breathing down your neck, watching your every move and collecting information for blackmail.”

“That’s...”

“What he’s doing is no different than when I had you in my claws. It’s worse,” Leona scoffed. “But I don’t see Octavinelle having to jump through the same hurdles as Savanaclaw. I don’t see you feeling uneasy to return to him.”

“That’s different. Uncle told Jade to...”

“You’re being played, canary,” the lion interrupted. “Used—both by the headmaster, and by the slimy eel. Just because they smile doesn’t mean they’ve done no wrong.”

“You don’t get to decide that for me.” She pursed her lips, speaking with a clipped tone.

“I’m telling you what you’re too bird-brained to accept.”

Raven fell silent. Her face contorted in various small ways—the twitching of the eyes or the corners of her lips—as she toyed with Leona’s ideas. Turned them over and examined them in her mind’s eye.

She gritted her teeth. “... I’ll let Uncle know that you believe Octavinelle should be closely monitored as well, but that is all I will be able to do for you. Speak rudely of others again, and I’ll dock points from your weekly review.”

“... Hmph.”

Raven scribbled a few more words on her papers, before tucking them under her arm. She curtsied, moreso out of politeness than out of genuine respect. “Enjoy your nap. Until next time, then.”

“Canary—”

The rest of his words caught in a knot on the tip of his tongue.

The bird turned and fled, darting behind his door and out into the world. Leona remained upon his mattress, watching her every step of the way. Not so much as a farewell lingered in the space between them.

Only a brief bitterness remained.

He should have known better. A caged canary wouldn’t sing for him.

“Leona-saaan,” Ruggie called, poking his head into his Dorm Leader’s room. “How’d it go? Didja convince Raven-kun to hang out? The tire swing’s starting to get all dusty without her.”

“... Go away,” Leona snarled through his pillow.

“Nishishi. Guess not, huh?” The hyena chuckled into his hand. “Scared her off instead?”

“Shut up, Ruggie. I’d like to see you do any better.”

“You gotta be more gentle when you’re trying to be friends with a bird! They’re really jittery.” The second year shrugged. “Try offering a trail of free birdseed next time. Maybe then she’d try eating outta your hands.”

Leona scowled deeply. “I’m not snuggling up to anyone.”

“Being gentle’s not exactly the same as that... But tell you what,” Ruggie snickered, touching his index finger and thumb together to form a circle. “I can give you some lessons in Birdspeak if you pay me~”
