Kory won Jester and literally it makes sense. This was a really cute event and I liked it a lot. 

The gang went to an after party.

And the trio went skating. The clock struck midnight and that was the end for them.

Right, that’s it for the Oldie round. Not the most eventful, but I’m not sure how much longer the two of them will be around so it’s nice to just play them chilling out and focusing on their hobbies.

Pleasantview: The Oldie Household

Herb and Coral Oldie enjoyed living in Pleasantview. They liked being near to their daughter, Mary-Sue Pleasant, and their granddaughters Angela and Lilith. Granted, they didn't really know them that well, but they invited them over occasionally, and soon made friends with their daughter, at least.

They were enjoying their "twilight years". Herb loved taking Coral on dates - they'd go to the diner, or the park, or just stay in together - it didn't matter what they did, they always had a great time. They had enough money to get by, just, so their time was theirs and they enjoyed every second of it.

But their daughter's life was not as idyllic, and after she divorced she moved back in with her parents. They'd moved house since she last lived with them, downsizing to free up some capital so that Herb could retire, so they had to extend the house to give Mary-Sue her own room. The payments from her now ex-husband helped with the costs, though, and her job was well paid, so on the whole they were better of financially.

Mary-Sue, however, wasn't thinking about money for once. She was desperate to have another baby - and to really make things work this time, as she didn't get on that well with her daughters. So she paid for IVF, using anonymously donated sperm, and before long she discovered that she was indeed pregnant.

She was excited about being pregnant, and her parents were pleased for her, especially her Mum, who was thrilled by the idea of having a live-in grand-baby. Sadly, though, she didn't live long enough to see her little granddaughter Coraline be born....

Mary-Sue loved her newborn daughter very much, and spent as much time with her as she could. Herb helped out occasionally, but he found that he really missed Coral - and the presence of a special woman in his life. So he started dating a much younger woman named Breanna Collins.

Fortunately Mary-Sue liked Breanna, as she spent a lot of time in their home. And before long she was spending all her time there, as Herb asked her to move in with him. Within a yearday he'd passed away, but Breanna stayed, keeping the upstairs bedroom that Herb and Coral had once shared.

Between the two of them Mary-Sue and Breanna did an excellent job of raising Coraline, who grew up happy, healthy and with a close relationship to both her Mum and "Auntie Breanna". The three of them visited Takemizu Village when Coraline was a child - Mary-Sue was born there, and wanted to show Coraline her heritage - and had an amazing time. 

Before long Coraline was a teenager, and she started to show an interest in some of the local boys, especially Warun Ramaswami and Theodore Ottomas. She couldn't choose between the two of them - but when she caught Theodore "cheating" on her with his other girlfriend she ended things with him, for a while, and started going steady with Warun instead.

Things took a turn for the worse when she started seeing Theodore again, and fell back in love with him, believing his promises that he was no longer seeing Elizabeth Broke and was only interested in her. Well, she still didn't know whether or not he'd lied about Elizabeth, but she was devastated when she caught Breanna flirting with him!

She felt so betrayed, and completely stopped interacting with Breanna. This made the atmosphere in the house rather unpleasant, but Mary-Sue, who hadn't witnessed the incident, had no idea what was going on between her best friend and her daughter. She just hoped that things would sort themselves out over time....

Angela: So... Papa, Mimi, I actually wanted to tell you something.

Lilith: *mumbling* Finally.

Angela: I think I might be pregnant.

Coral: WHAT?

[saytrtiara]

Herb: You look positively glowing, Ange.

Angela: Thanks Papa!

Lilith: Wonder why that is...

Coral: Hey, be nice to your sister.

[saytrtiara]

Coral: What about you, Lilith?

Lilith: What about me?

Coral: Why do I bother, I'm sure you're failing all your classes in college just like you did in high school.

Herb: It's best to just leave them to it, huh?

Coral: How are you classes going? Getting A's I hope?

Angela: Watcher, Mimi, you sound like Mom.

Coral: Just want to make sure you're getting the most out of your college experience, dear. So, are you?

Herb: Angie!

Angela: Hi Papa, thanks for coming over. Hi Mimi

It's a busy evening for Coral

Coral takes out her technophobic rage on the flatscreen.

Coral: Hey Sue-Sue, how'd your date go?

Mary-Sue: Oh, fine. I don't think I like him as much as I thought I did.

Coral: Aww, honey. Maybe next time.

Mary-Sue: Goldie! What do you want? You want to dance?

Mary-Sue gets home from her date and tentatively saves two new matches to her Cupid's Corner. She's starting to wonder if a blind date would work better than trying to meet someone through an app.

It seems like Mary-Sue and Panya aren't going to be going on any more dates, but they both have a pretty good time. And...

???: Hello. It's Mary-Sue Oldie, right?

Mary-Sue: Yes, that's me.

???: Hi, my name's Ana. I'm Ramir Patel's wife.

Mary-Sue: Oh Watcher, I almost didn't recognize you! How's the campaign going?

Ana: Good, but better when you're on. I don't mean to interrupt, but I've been meaning to meet you.

Mary-Sue: Of course, I've been hoping to meet you too.

Ana: I hope you don't mind my saying, but I think you have a bright future, Ms Oldie. I think you'll surpass Ramir if you keep at it, although don't tell him I said that.

Mary-Sue: That's very kind of you.

Ana: I'm glad to know your divorce isn't keeping you back.

Mary-Sue: ...Yes.

Ana: Alright, well I'll see you around, Mary-Sue.

Mary-Sue: You too.
