I love Lilith Crewel and I've realized you haven't spoken much of her second husband, Divus father. Any headcanons for him other than they're still good friends? How does he interact with Yuu? Oh I'd love to talk about Divus father! I haven't really sat down ot type anything out for him, but I now I have the moment to do so! So thanks for that. Lets go!

Divus father is a man by the name of Stephan Baron.

He is a famous designer and a self made man. He grew up in average middle class home with just his parents and older brother. Stephan had always loved clothes and sewing and thought one day he would design costumes for theater. But during his 4th year, he nailed an internship at a famous fashion house and continued to study there until he created his very first line that debuted at the Queendom of Roses fashion week. It was a smash success and propelled him into fame.

Between his parents, Divus looks the most like his father in terms of facial structure. He looks like a more serious version of Stephan. Divus also has his fathers eyes, as well as his tall height. Things like his hair color and genaral demeanor came from Lilith.

Stephan is an animal lover, he showed Divus of having a pet and dogs were always in the house.

Stephan met Lilith while she was to model for a show debuting his new fall line. At that point Lilith had made a name for herself as the new IT girl and was the main model for the show, and Stephan spent a great deal of time with her fitting the dresses to make sure everything was perfect. The two got on well and became close friends after that.

Lilith at one point early on in their friendship told Stephan all about her first marriage. How she didn't love him. How shitty he was. and how she divided all the assets so the divorce would swing in her favor. How to Lilith, marriage for her was only a contract. Stephan had had his own trouble with his love life. None of his relationships had lasted long. Usually his work and the travelling was too much for some people. Stephan found this incredibly frustrating, as he genuinely wanted to start a family of his own.

After a couple years, they both sort of came to the same conclusion: Marry each other. They both decided they wanted a child, and why risk having one with someone you couldn't stand or could cause custody problems down the line? They were both at the height of their careers, so a marriage would be breaking news. All publicity is good publicity after all. And so, Stepan and Lilith had their famous wedding. In which Lilith wore her miniskirt dress and long dragging fur coat. Stephan had designed and mad the dress himself. The whole thing was so abrupt and lacked the months of of planning for a huge wedding that people were in shock. There were even rumors for a while that it was a shotgun wedding.

But no, two years later, Divus was born. Very much planned and loved by his parents. Carrying on her familys name was very important to Lilith, so Stephan encouraged her to give Divus her last name. He didn't really care about those things, he just wanted to be a dad.

Despite his busy schedule, Stephan always made time for Divus. Often bringing him to his fashion house for father son work days. Or in his home studio, Divus would "help" his father. (Stephan would give him some small task to do like sorting thread or folding pieces of fabric or ribbon) it's her Divus learned to see from his father. Had a child friendly machine set up for him and Stephan would help him make things like clothes of little plushies. The projects got bigger as Divus grew older.

Stephan was the one who encouraged and/still is the biggest investor of Divine Magazine when Lilith started it up shortly after they married.

He and Lilith decided after a few years that now that they had gotten what they wanted out of their marriage, it was time to split. It was a very amicable divorce and everything was split as was agreed. Though because they remained close and Lilith didn't mind Stephan staying, there was no rush for him to move off the Crewel. So it didn't register to young Divus that his parents were not married for a long time, because very little had changed besides some legal things.

Stephan had relocated from the queendom of roses to the shaftlands when Divus was sixteen, and he still loves and operates there to this day.

Though Stephan loves farther now, he's very excited about his adoptive grandchild. Like Lilith, Stephan is a strong believer of chosen families, so he welcomed Yuu wholeheartedly to the family when he was finally able to visit his son.

Stephan is a lot more calm and collected than Lilith is. While she's taking Yuu out shopping to spoil them rotten and parade them around proudly. Stephan has found he's the kind of grandfather who likes to make you a warm drink and ask about your day. He's a very soothing and comforting presence to have around.

Stephan has always been a family man that enjoys entertaining. When Divus took Yuu to visit him, he had already set up a nice room for them, with sheets in the color Divus said he liked best and care basket ready. He's very thoughtful in small ways like that.

His and Liliths relationship is much the same as it had been almost 40 years: with Lilith taking charge and Stephan cheering in the background. Or trying in vain to hold her back from doing something over the top. "What are we going to do with her?" He found himself asking sometimes while holding a baby Divus while Lilith was going off on someone.

Overall Stephan is a very kind and creative man that loves his family dearly.

Yuri is an optimist and a kind person. Contrary to his twin sister, Yuri is quite friendly with everyone and he will help anyone if they are in trouble. However, he will get annoyed and angry when someone tells him that he is a girl or dares to do anything to his twin sister.

Backstory:

Yuri and his twin sister have had to depend on each other since childhood, their parent always fighting each other and they never gave any attention to the twin. Their father was barely at home and their mother was always drunk. Sometimes the mother beat up the twins for very small things, so they had a lot of bruises on their bodies. When Yuri and Morela were 10 years old, their father died because of car accident, their mother was very happy thinking she would be able to take all of her husband's money so she went to the bar and had fun with the celebratory party but she was got robbed and killed on the way back home. Yuri and Morela were forced to move to live with their uncle in England. In here, they had known that their uncle is a wizard, they were taught magic and also changed their last name to his uncle's surname-Hill

While walking around the house, the twin accidentally discovered a secret room that their uncle didn't tell them. It was a room with nothing but a strange mirror hanging on a wall covered with a cloth. Because of curiosity, the twin removed the cloth and……The twin' journey begin here.

I accept your adopted reporter!Yuu au, but what if they ran away from the families and got adopted by Crewel's sister. Like, Yuu just gets overwhelmed with being starved and abused by Miss Rosehearts, always being pitied for not having magic like the rest of the Kingschoolar family, having to basically be bellow the Asim all the time, or be prepared to die in order to protec Malleus Draconia. So they just run away. It was such a cold night when they left their "home". They were shivering, trembeling, maybe from the cold or fear they didn't know. In the midlle of nowhere they heard a loud bark, then the sound became higher and for some reason it multiplied, the fragille child just gave up after hearring it, laying on the ground accepting their fate, when the dogs got near the kid they closed their eyes, only to be licked multiple times in the face, confused they made a decision to open their eyes. The dogs were just puppies, they signed in relief, the adorable fluffy balls started guiding the to a house, where there was a woman and her husband frantically looking for their dalmatians, when they look at the entrace of their house and see their small angels with a shivering child they immediatly take them in. Since the previous family didn't even bother to search for them, the lovely couple just adopt the child.

Heartslaybul:

Yuu tries to get Riddle to come with them when running away from the Rosehearts household. Riddle refuses point blank. Running away would be against the rules. He can’t break the rules. Yuu breaks so many rules and gets so hurt...and Mother was so angry when she realized they’d broken the rules together on Riddle’s birthday. They have a fight about it, with Riddle screaming that Yuu should just go if they’re going, or he’ll tell Mother! That’s the last conversation they have as Rosehearts siblings.

Yuu sends back letters, constantly coaxing Riddle to join them, telling him he’d love the puppies, that he could eat all the strawberry tart he wanted, that there’s always room for one more in the Radcliffe family. Mrs. Rosehearts found the tenth one while Riddle was reading it. She tore it up, confiscated all his others, and destroyed any new ones that came in, telling Riddle to forget them, that he had no sibling. It’s telling that when kidnapped by Royal Flush, Yuu recognizes Trey first before figuring out who the supervillain now holding them hostage is. Riddle for his part is hardly able to keep his masquerade together when he realizes who was the one involved in the destruction of his precious fertilizer.

It’s a very awkward reunion, not helped by Chen’ya deciding to ‘save’ them at the most inopportune moment and dropping them off a balcony. Yuu makes an effort to stick their nose into Royal Flush’s schemes and get kidnapped by his minions more on purpose. They refuse to leave him behind again. Riddle won’t say he’s grateful for the clumsy attempts to make up lost time, but he’s more irritated when other supervillains keep kidnapping his sibling and putting them in danger, especially when none of them are suitable for Yuu!

Savannaclaw:

It doesn’t help when everyone tells Yuu that they’re not cut out to be a Kingscholar. Yuu tries their best, tries so hard, but it always feels like it’s not enough, never enough, when even Leona-nii tells them it’d be better if they weren’t in this family, if a powerless human like them just disappeared. So they follow his advice. It hurts them badly when no one even comes looking, when their ex-parents send them a letter later in life forbidding them from attending the celebration of Farena-nii’s first child, their nephew, saying they’ll have them arrested for trespasssing if they don’t turn down their oldest brother’s invitation.

They try to stay away from news of the Kingscholars, only exchanging brief letters and emails with Farena-nii, Leona hasn’t even replied to the first letter they sent him. They do well, becoming a fine reporter and shining on their own merits and hard work. They get embroiled with Royal Flush, becoming far more entangled with a supervillain than their common sense says is wise. And then they get kidnapped from Royal Flush’s lair by a rival, have a selfie taken with this new villain’s minions.

They recognize Leona-nii’s drawl as they’re set down in a cheap chair. He at least looks as rudely surprised as they do when the bag is pulled off of their head again. A very tense reunion, with accusations about abandonment and cowardice and not replying to letters being thrown back and forth. Ruggie, Jack and the other minions very much wish they weren’t in the room for this. Then Royal Flush and his Card Guards show up to rescue Yuu, and Leona decides now is the best time to play the overprotective big brother, much to Yuu’s exasperation.

Scarabia:

Yuu wouldn’t run from the Vipers just because they were constantly being told they were lesser. They could endure that, even as it slowly broke them. But if they failed to protect the Asim they were supposed to guard with their life? If they couldn’t stop him from getting hurt, and were deemed a failure as a bodyguard, not as naturally clever and cautious as Jamil and his sister? Then they would run, for fear of what the Asim would do to a failure of a servant who couldn’t fulfill their duty.

Jamil’s the one who tells them to, and has Kalim create a diversion so they can get out. He burns every letter they send back without reading them—they’re proof his sibling is alive, but also a potential way for them to be tracked down and cause problems. Yuu recognizes Snake Charmer within a minute of being kidnapped, because who else would do that tongue thing he always did when he was winning at mancala when they were kids? And then they realize to their horror who that means Water Boy is. Cue furious muffled whispering between the pair about why he would rope Kalim into becoming a supervillain, he can’t keep a secret to save his life, that it wasn’t his idea, Kalim just invited himself along for the ride, you know how hard it is to get him to quit when he’s set on something!

Kalim is just really happy to see Yuu-chan again! They’re alive! And okay! And look good! And not dead! He’s really, really glad they’re not dead! And feel so nice to hug now! Jamil, don’t they feel nice to hug now! Jamil feels many, many alarm bells going off in his head, and it’s not just because of all the other supervillains who are sniffing around his sibling.

Diasomnia:

The one family that lets Yuu go willingly and stays in touch with them after they end up with the Radcliffes. Lilia is upset when comforting Yuu about their persistent nightmares about being incapable of protecting Malleus, cleaning them up when the stress makes them physically ill and strains their previously excellent relationship with the young master and the other guards nearly to the breaking point. It’s breaking Malleus’ young heart to see his ‘younger sibling’ push themselves like this, only to hate themselves when they fall short. He wishes they could go back to before, when he’d walk around with them as a chubby little baby in his arms and all they worried about was whether he was mispronouncing the gargoyle terms in his architecture books.

Maleficent is also sad when Lilia reports that he doesn’t think Yuu’s cut out for the type of work the Silver and Sebek have taken to with such ease. She’s fond of the child, so she personally searches out the best family she thinks will take care of Yuu while being safe enough for Malleus to visit if he wants to. The Radcliffes are an unexpected gem, relatives of an old acquaintance who already has a vested interest in Yuu’s survival and who knows better than to cross her. Plus Malleus and Yuu both seemed very taken by the puppies, which scored major points.

Malleus, Silver, Lilia, and Sebek will often visit Yuu on weekends and certain holidays when they’re growing up. Anita and Roger need to stop Maleficent trying to pay for everything when Yuu’s growing up. Yuu is initially concerned when Malleus becomes a supervillain, especially when he takes the childhood nickname they gave him as his supervillain name, but does their best to support him. Malleus, for his part, is having the time of his life, enjoying his late night walks and tea parties with his sibling now they’ve both grown up. But his colleagues’ interest in the little reporter make him and his closest lieutenants worry about Yuu, especially when the love potion and marriage contracts come into play...

So I just caught the Mama Spade x Mrs. Rosehearts virus. My mind is blown by what this messy love drama could turn out to be in the Headmistress Rosehearts au... We first have Mrs. Rosehearts in an unhappy marriage with her whore of a "husband" Mr. Rosehearts. Mrs. Rosehearts is having an emotional affair (what seems like to be) with Vil's (disowned by Vil) father, Erik, who was her first love and finally seeing and flirting with one another after many years ago. Floyd's huge simping ass for Mrs. Rosehearts who annoys her to no end. But now look at Mama Spade, A young mother who got used and knocked up by Mr. Rosehearts and had to raise her baby boy Deuce all on her own with the occasional help from her parents. Despite all the horrible things Mrs. Rosehearts says and calls her, even to her own son. Mama Spade can't help but feel sympathy to the woman who just insults her cause she can see that she's hurting too from Mr. Rosehearts as both of them were used and hurt by a selfish selfish man. She wasn't REALLY mad at Mama Spade for what her husband did... she was mad at him, especially since he went after someone who was young. Someone who was naive and vulnerable... like she use to be somewhat before. It doesn't help that from how Deuce speaks and defends his own mother, she's very much the opposite of a mother Mrs. Rosehearts is; she's a very kind and caring mother that her own son cares deeply about. She's jealous and it badly fuels her anger towards the both of them. Yet Mama Spade only speaks to her in kindness, trying to help her, and slowly Mrs. Rosehearts begins to accept it. Mama Spade's kindness isn't like Erik's. It's from a shared hurt experience of both women have experienced, yet Mama Spade reminds kind, caring and strong. Mrs. Rosehearts slowly wants more of it but just refuses to say it properly. If you throw in the Crewel has a thing for Mama Spade and flirts with her. Mrs. Rosehearts would probably have heard it from Mama Spade herself as she speaks about what Crewel said or even the little gifts he sent, and man the redhead just gets JEALOUS. Probably tries to spin it that Crewel is bad, make it that Crewel isn't trustworthy, ANYTHING so that the man doesn't take away this kind woman away. I've seen some Lilia hitting on Mama Spade snippits as both are single parents raising their sons so why not Lilia try getting Silver a mother and a brother as well so Mrs. Rosehearts could also do the same thing with him.

Instead of being the one flirted with, or someone doing the simping to Mrs. Rosehearts. This time, SHE is the one in that position as she slowly falls for Mama Spade. Just... is Mrs. Rosehearts going to actually accept it herself that she's starting to feel something? Or present herself as only trying to protect Mama Spade so the same thing that happened years ago doesn't happen again. Slowly making sure the woman's attention is only directed towards her. A cycle that Riddle is very familiar with slowly starting up all over again...

Listen when it comes to this au, we love mess in this house. 

@mangacupcake Damn imagine Erik. You meet the lost love of your life again, put her over your own son to the point of him disowning you. The backlash from it that could very much hurt his career, only for her to start catching feelings for someone else. Not just someone else, the woman she has very vocally has called all sorts of names and degraded. I don’t care how kind and understanding you are, that has to be a breaking point.

Also yes, Crewel x Mama Spade. No I’m not bias. Mrs. Rosehearts gets wind of it and is pissed, she can’t quite place why but she doesn’t like it.

“And where are you going, Professor Crewel?”

“To where?”

“Not that it’s any of your business, but I am taking Maria (my headcanon name for her) to dinner.”

To add on to musical yuu wouldn’t it be funny if they did a rendition of “Cruella de vil” not knowing it’s about their favourite uncle divvy? Since crewel in this au is evil and he knows it the song might actually be considered a compliment (and something for him to rub into the others’ faces)

I headcanon their dad (twst Roger) is the one who wrote and taught Yuu the “Cruella De Vil” song, because he wanted to wind up his brother in law, only for Divus to take it as a compliment.

It actually went a long way to repairing Divus’ opinion of his sister’s bumbling, casually-dressed, stray-collecting husband. The conflict between them is basically Roger’s “I wanna have and pet all the puppies” and lax approach to house training versus Divus’ “leave some puppies for the rest of us you jerk” and intense focus on instilling discipline. Twst! Anita is a nice balance between the two.

Yuu now regularly sings the “Cruella De Vil” for him if he comes over and they have access to a piano.

Divus is eternally smug about it in front of the other villains. He has an entire song devoted to how evil he is, do they have any songs? No, didn’t think so.
