The Modern Beach Abode - house build #2

Welcome to the second and last batch of my build photos.

The third floor is where the bedrooms of their daughters and small storage room are. The topmost floor, the roof deck, has been made into like a “sunroom” with telescopes, chess table and painting easels. They also have a nice view of Roaring Heights and the ocean in front of them.

Outside, they have this mini backyard dining and garden areas. The garden is for Kent, with him being a green thumb and deep into science and experiments.

On the one hand, deciding to do a herringbone pattern probably increased the floor renovation project time by 4-5 hours. On the other hand, my library floor is going to look bomb as hell (just as soon as I run to Home Depot for more flooring because I ran out 😬). We’ll do black grout in here as well. And once the floor is done…I can start building bookshelves ���🎉🎉

The Modern Beach Abode - house build #1

I made another build!

This time, it’s for one of my favorite Sims, Kent Capp, and his whole family. I liked their first house and the makeover I did, but it’s too small and cramped for them, not enough for all their needs and other stuff.

Besides, they’re Capps and millionaires, so they deserve a fitting, bigger home for a wealthy scientist-politician couple and their kids. I tried to make the style more tropical beach-inspired, and it has a total of 3 floors, not including the roof deck.

If you want me to upload this, just let me know. Note: I used a lot of objects from EPs, SPs & the Store.

The first floor is an open space, where their living, dining and kitchen areas are. The second floor houses the master bedroom, library, powder room, laundry room, and the balcony.
