I wanted to try my hand at HotGuy for a while, so he is our choice!

Drinking 50 cups of coffee is very unhealthy and dangerous but I guess Hot Guy would survive. Maybe.

Day 4: favorite alt hermit

For my favorite alt hermit I picked Hotguy. That whole bit Scar did was just way too much fun. I love seeing little minecraft people randomly explode in a single hit. It's objectively hilarious to me. So here's Hotguy.

Every season all the hermits would get together to customize their elytra. Well all the ones without wings of their own at the very least.

Usually most of them went for a good traveling pair. Not particularly fast, but broad and stable, good for distance and slow gliding when needed to check out their builds from the air. But Scar had something else in mind this season.

He looked up to see Grian swoop overhead at high speeds. Of the flighted hermits, he was by far the fastest. False's eagle wings were strong but slow, unless she was diving. And Impulse's wings, at least as long as he was in his human form, functioned more like elytra anyway. They weren't enough to get him off the ground without the help of rockets.

Grian's flight was unmatched.

Scar wanted to challenge that.

That season he made his elytra small and angled. They were sturdy and rigid, ready to handle the paces he wanted to put them through. He pestered Cub into making him some stronger rockets to boot.

All that was left was practice.

He knew even with his special made elytra, he probably wouldn't be any match for Grian once he got in the air. So naturally he'd just have to kill him first. Strike before he even knew he was there.

And a move like that, well that deserved something special.

He painted his elytra, careful to keep the paint even so as not to throw off their balance. Then he stitched himself a matching jacket. And Ren was all too happy to show him how he made his sunglasses so he could make a two tone pair for himself.

As a final touch he carefully painted the name onto his heavily enchanted custom bow. All that was left was to find the pesky bird.

The glasses were a great addition to the costume, blocking the wind from his eyes at the blistering speeds he could get to with his new rig. Suddenly False's goggles made a lot more sense.

It didn't take him long to find his target. Grian was near his base, rifling through his ever present chest monster.

"Perfect." He muttered to himself dramatically, voice torn away on the wind. "Target in sight."

He lit off another rocket, flying up higher until it ran out. He leaned back, allowing his momentum to carry him around in a small loop before he was diving again, his elytra doing little more than keeping him stable in the air as he fell.

He readied his bow, arrow pulled back taught. He took aim as his target grew in his vision with his rapid approach.

"Hotguy!" He cried as he loosed the arrow.

He pulled back immediately trying to send himself back up into the skies. But his momentum was too much.

"Oh shoot."

He crash landed, careening through the chest monster, sending chests and shulkers and their contents flying in all directions. He finally came to rest and rolled onto his back. He was still laying in the mess.

Grian was laughing hysterically, now respawned nearby. Scar couldn't help but join him as his friend picked his way through the wreckage.

"Scar what was that?"

"I'm not Scar, I'm Hotguy."

"Oh obviously." Grian took in his new 'disguise'. "Cool jacket."

"Why thank you." Scar preened.

"You need a flying lesson though." He teased.

Scar sputtered a moment before mustering some composure. "Why I think I flew quite well. Thank you very much."

"Landing lesson then?" Grian spread his arms at the wreckage around them. It wasn't like it was any more disorganized now than it had been pre-Hotguy. But the point still stood.

"Sure sure." Scar waved a hand. "Hey, you could be my side kick! You could be… Cuteguy!"

"Right. Sure…" Grian smiled at his friend's enthusiasm knowing full well, whatever Scar came up with, it would always be a Good Time.

I found out about hermit a day may yesterday and I’ve never done a daily challenge but I was like “yeah I’ll go for it” so here’s my favorite alt hermit :p I’m gonna try to go back and do the days I missed afterwards

I didn’t have enough time to do a more clean version but I did my best :]
