Decoration in trompe l'oeil for the antechamber of the former Chancellerie d’Orléans, by architect Charles de Wailly, 1767; painting in grisaille. The Chancellerie D’Orléans was destroyed in 1923. The interiors and decor were, however, thankfully dismantled and saved beforehand.
