Happy belated #cerealfriday! Sorry I missed posting this yesterday for you all. Anyway, let’s get to it! Yesterday’s picks were two new Post Cereals: Nilla Banana Pudding: This cereal breathes the banana life right into you-literally. Once you open the bag you are immediately hit with the overwhelming smell of banana. I mean if you like the smell of banana just leave this bag cracked somewhere and the aroma of banana will fill up the room. The bowl presentation is good with this one. Tiny little marshmallows and big Nilla wafers. On initial bite the banana flavor unlike its smell isn’t really there, but allow this cereal to rest in the milk for a brief moment and the flavor explosion emerges. Yes, it definitely tastes like banana, but the banana flavor isn’t over powering. There’s a good balance of flavor, crunch, and texture. This cereal a top pick if you enjoy banana just know that it’s peak flavor isn’t truly exposed until it sits- hence, “a sitter.” ™️ Hostess Donettes: This cereal is...WOW! Seriously, it is one of the best cereals I’ve ever had. Let me back track one second. Unlike the above cereal this cereal does not greet pleasantries with your nasal passage. This cereal smells like the awful protein powder that you bought from Walmart that you have to choke down. Yes, the smell is horrible. However, are we really into cereal for its smell? Dry this cereal has decent flavor and good crunch. However, once this cereal touches milk it’s a magical experience. It’s almost hard to describe how delicious this cereal actually is. It’s literally delicious powdered doughnuts. Soft, chewy, yummy, deliciousness in a box served with ice cold milk and it is a phenomenal experience.
