So my University finally opened up and me and my friends got to see each other for the first time in about 1.5 years. My FP had said that she'd be there for me, that she'd support me and would never make me feel left out.... But I do feel so.. I feel more lonely than ever.... She hangs out often with her other hostelier friends (I live in a rented apartment outside the campus) and she posts pictures with them on her Instagram stories, but not even one with me.... She told me her face doesn't "look good" in her picture with me... I and my other friends too think that her other "group" of friends she hangs out with, isn't good.. They all give off this bad vibe and they seem to get too close to her and when I see that my mind... It just... Hurts.. I have had complete breakdowns in my University but I had to hold them in so as not to show anyone that something was wrong.... Tears always remain on the edge when I walk, talk and eat(barely). One day, she called me and said she wasn't in a good mood, and she said she was coming to me (this all happened when we were in the campus) Later, I discovered that all her other friends had gone and that's when she came to me..... Am I a last option to her too? And she had told me that I was important to her. That her other friends were "dogs" (she'd told me so in chat privately some time ago), but when I expect her help, she's not there.... They say to shift my focus from her.... But my insecurities from my childhood have been too much for me, that I feel like a child stuck in a strange place: afraid and about to lose his wits and cry. I don't need her to be by me all day, but I want her to give me the importance when I need it the most. I just... Don't know where to go.... I'm stuck in my mind... I've only been able to replace my older FPs with newer ones, and I'm afraid that I'm too picky and this process sometimes doesn't go off until after a few years after I've last contacted with my previous FP.... The time in between has always been too..... scary for me.... They say that I should talk to other friends, but they don't care about me.. Every single one of them uses me and then leaves me alone. My FP shouldn't break her promises..... Not when I maintain them...... Not when I give them my everything and when I receive nothing.....

It hurts. But I still hope that she has a good life ahead and that she succeeds one day.. I don't know if I matter to her like she says I do, but she, means the world to me.

Only walked eighteen klms today but that was enough. My second toe on my right foot is not good sometimes I think I may have broken a bone in it somewhere along the way as it is very swollen or it's gout so m hoping it's neither. Today was climb, climb and climb. The track at times was a bit tricky, with big stones and roots so i had to watch my every step. The view along the way was magnificent and I'm not sure I caught the autemn colours on camera as I was seeing with the naked eye on the mountains. Met another couple from Sydney on the mountain today, I have forgotten their names as I was buggered but as we are staying in this little town tonight I dare say I will see them again and remember their names this time. They are staying in the hotel and I'm staying in a donativa Albergues. Didn't meet any characters today along the way, very quiet. Tomorrow I have a bigger climb where I come across La Cruz de Ferro at 1,505 mtrs. # Tag 12 Australia Day- public holiday Heute morgen ging es wieder los von Port Macquarie weiter hoch nach Byron Bay, das heißt wieder 4 Stunden Autofahrt💪 Und das an dem Feiertag von Australien. Der Hostelier heute morgen hat uns angeboten noch eine weitere Nacht für die Hälfte zu bleiben mit einem kostenlosen Hamburger! Da Jill und ich ja beide verrückt sind nach Burgern, ist es schon schwer gefallen nein zusagen🙈 müssen wir aber doch ein Flug in Cairns am 11.02. erwischen und weiterkommen:( aber wir wären so gerne geblieben!!!!😝 Müssen wir doch heute abend wieder für ein Hostel bezahlen, sogar noch mehr wie für die letzte Nacht!😲 40$ aber das Hostel an sich ist ganz nice- ist es ja eher ein Party Hostel. Zu schade, dass ich heute gerade wieder einen Migräne Anfall hatte und wieder Tabletten nehmen musste. So musste ich sogar das freie Bier, das mir angeboten wurde, ablehnen😔 Das bescheuerste ist, dass es zu warm zum Schlafen, der Kühlschrank voll ist und dass natürlich Jill wieder den ganzen Tag Auto fahren musste.. Christian students will earn an additional benefit of around ₹3 crore when the minority scholarships are redistributed among them and the Muslims based on their population.

The redistribution following the Kerala High Court order would see the total allocation for Muslims going down to ₹9.27 crore from the earlier ₹12.68 crore and that of all the Christian communities together going up to ₹6.41 crore from the earlier ₹3.16 crore, said A.B. Moideen Kutty, Director, Directorate of Minority Welfare

The disbursal of the minority merit-cum-means scholarship scheme, which was rechristened C.H. Muhammad Koya Scholarship, and the one for professional courses like Chartered Accountancy and ICWA, would have to be restructured with the court striking down the 80:20 ratio followed for the beneficiaries — Muslims, Latin Catholics, and Converted Christians. The court also ordered that it shall be redistributed among all the minority communities on the basis of their population.

Each year, the State government spends ₹15.81 crore on six scholarships covering 14,398 students belonging to the six minority communities, Mr. Kutty said.

Highest allocation

The CH scholarships has the highest annual budgetary allocation of ₹8 crore and maximum number of beneficiaries, 7,000 girl students. It supports girls from Muslim, Latin Catholic, and Converted Christian communities in graduate, postgraduate and professional courses by offering an annual aid of ₹5,000, ₹6,000 and ₹7,000 each and ₹13,000 each for hosteliers. The scholarship amount, launched with an annual outlay of ₹10 crore in 2008, was slashed to ₹8 crore since there were few applicants initially, he said.

The scholarship for Chartered Accountancy has an outlay of ₹45 lakh and a beneficiary base of 300 students. The ₹3.30-crore Prof. Joseph Mundassery Scholarship for 2,835 students who score full A Plus in SSLC and Plus Two courses, and distinction for UG and PG courses, the ₹60-lakh APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship for 990 students of technical courses, and the ₹50-lakh Mother Teresa scholarship for 333 students of paramedical and nursing courses are the other schemes, the official said.

The court order would see the scholarship share of Muslims shrinking to 58.67% from the earlier 80%. All Christian communities together would get nearly 40.6%, against the earlier 20%. The other minority communities including Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis and Jains, will be eligible for 0.73% of the benefits.

While most Muslim community organisations wanted the State government to appeal against the court order, most Christian organisations hailed it. The government is treading a fine line in the socially sensitive issue and has maintained that appropriate decision would be taken after looking into the verdict.

Functioning of the J.B. Koshy Commission to study the issues faced by Christians in the State should be put on hold considering the recent Kerala High Court verdict in the minority scholarship case, the Muslim Employees Cultural Association (MECA) has said.

The Kerala High Court had directed that the minority communities should be considered as a single unit and scholarships distributed.

The State government should come out with new guidelines for the distribution of scholarships and implementation of the welfare schemes taking into account the communal amity and social balances, said a statement issued by N.K. Ali, general secretary of the organisation.

A meeting of leaders of various Muslim organisations will be held shortly to come up with suggestions and proposals in the wake of the court order, the statement said.
