Truth be told, the only reason that I changed Sumire's "innocent" personality to "naive" or "dumb" is just because I was worried that it might fuel into YanDev's fantasies or something. "Innocent" is a pretty popular anime term, but more so in inappropriate content, so I wanted to slightly change Sumire. Or at least the wording used.

But outside of my anxieties, I do think that Sumire has the potential to be a pretty comical character. Not just "weird" like Maka, but more so gullible. Thanks to this, she's likely one of the bully's victims unknowingly. Since Hoshiko seems smart, mature, and trustworthy, Sumire easily does favors for her in return for help.

I'm not sure if I'll put other students in her situation or not, but I do think that Sumire could be a unique case. Since she's so easy to take advantage of, she could be infamously used by the bullies. Especially since strange things she does could be excused as her just being weird or dumb. It's certainly a thought, and the one that's been on my mind most.

I had the idea for a long time to translate into English and post this post, but for some reason I thought about it for a long time. In general, this idea is not really mine, I was inspired to do it by one person (I admire they headcanons, heheh), however, I don't know how to mark them on the blog-...I'm sorry.🥹

So, I hope I haven't fucked up anywhere and the characters don't repeat themselves anywhere, or there are no undesirable logical mistakes, but here's how I distributed the students into classes:

It's much nicer to the eye when all the students in the classes are distributed not like in the game (even if all the students in the game are assigned to classes in a more convenient way for the players, I still don't like it...), but in their own way...

One Quick Note

I've changed the students' classes. This, amongst other topics are just things I changed for the sake of it. Some of these new seating arrangements help with the plot of the story, and some others are just changed for no particular reason.

I guess a more important reason would be that it reflects what age I think some of the characters would be. (Typically ranging from 16-18.) Gardening Club Marching Band AU Headcanons

Flute Player

Absolutely the biggest band mom of all!!!

She always has spare reeds for every instrument and valve oil handy even though she literally doesn’t need them. She also has a tuner ready whenever needed

She enjoys playing the flute because it reminds her of Spring (her favorite season. I don’t think I need to explain why :P)

Her reputation as “Everyone’s Big Sister” would also give her a position as Section Leader.

She does everything in her power to keep her section as drama free as possible. She manages to keep the flutes out of drama 95% of the time but there’s one flute that always manages to get them into drama (*Cough* Hoshiko *Cough*)

She will gladly teach any new students marching fundamentals or how to play the flute if they needed it.

Loves hosting sectional outings the day after contests.

Sumire Suzuki

Baritone Player

Alright lets get this out of the way. She doesn’t understand any of the dirty band jokes (The Practice Room for example XD)

Her mother was extremely concerned for her daughter doing a pretty physical activity that she can potentially injure herself in. Her older sister was concerned about the fact that she wanted to play a big heavy instrument like the baritone and tried to convince her to play a smaller instrument like a flute or clarinet, which obviously failed.

After a lengthy talk with Ms. Kunahito and getting some advice about how to go through the marching season as a parent, she finally let her join the band but her mother was one of those helicopter parents.

During contests she’s always nearby her to make sure she’s fine and not with the wrong crowd. Even though Sumire seems fine with it, it does make her uncomfortable a little bit and it tends to annoy the faculty members.

She proved to be a good marcher considering she’s shorter than most of the other students and is usually is asked to be an example to the others

During moments on the bus and contests, her friends help her try to gain independence

Himari Fujita

Baritone Saxophone

The only Bari Sax in the school. This is something she takes pride in and loves to represent the low reeds at contests

Her father tried making her play a flute or a clarinet as he believed a Bari Sax is not an instrument that should be played by girls. Himari doesn’t care and it makes her rep her instrument even more

It’s easy to spot her on the field because she has one of the biggest woodwind instruments, and also because she’s pretty tall.

She’s very enthusiastic about the other performances by usually cheering very loudly up in the stands.

She does tend to forget her reeds quite often and usually needs to go to Uekiya for spare reeds. She also has a bad habit of chewing gum while trying to play which usually doesn’t end well

She’s usually humming the show music while she’s watering the flowers around Akademi High

Tsubaki Uesugi

Drumline (Bass Drum 2)

She wanted to join the drumline because she wanted to try something new and a little bit different compared to the other Gardening Club girls. She chose a smaller bass drum because she was afraid the bigger drums would injure her back.

She does get pretty lonely during sectionals because she doesn’t really feel like she fits in with the rest of the drumline, so she usually tries to find the Gardening Club girls to hang out with.

She is incredibly uncomfortable with the field photographers because they always get action shots of her at the absolute worst times. Once they got a photo of her falling backwards and it was something that she was humiliated about for days.

She’s also one of the few band kids that actually hit a judge. She didn’t see them and felt bad when she whacked them in the head with one of her sticks.

She spends a vast majority of her free time practicing as she wants to be the best she can be. (It’s totally not to make sure she doesn’t fall again)

She tends to have self conscious moments about herself in band and contemplated quitting a few times. Thankfully her friends reassured her and she remained in band and becomes more confident in herself.

Sakura Hagiwara

Flute Player

Joining a Marching Band was actually one of the things on her bucket list she wanted to do before she died.

Another prime motive she had for joining marching band is to goin more physical endurance.

She enjoys being apart of marching band, but she’s more laid back and isn’t looking to achieve a position of power or first chair.

She tends to excel at the choreography given and is usually noted by judges for looking very elegant and beautiful

She usually sits by herself on the band bus and in the stands. Mainly because she’s pretty introverted and usually keeps to herself.

During down times at contest she usually helps the other band moms with passing out food and other things.

the first rule of the suzuki household was this: there was no number 2. 

from the moment you were born, you had that rule ingrained into your psyche. as the third generation of japanese born immigrants, the suzukis had expectations to uphold the family name. the first of them had arrived in new york city with promises that built them a comfortable life. and so you did everything with a zeal that your parents only encouraged. straight a’s, polished manners, pristine reputation. an overall picture perfect image of a good daughter.

now it all would have been perfect too, if it wasn’t for one little pebble in your way by the name of hoshiko suzuki. literally meant ‘star child’ and only a year older, hoshiko was everything you were supposed to be. head of the student council, four time champion of the academic decathlon and stemanties research competition, scholarships to harvard university, princeton, and oxford. good job, good husband, good family. there was little space on hoshiko’s shelf of accomplishments for you. 

and you had tried. you followed the rules to a t, never coloured outside the lines, bit your tongue at every corner, kept a polite smile splattered on your face. your parents were proud, but not in the way that mattered. they talked about you like a footnote to hoshiko, as if your achievements were all done because you had followed in your sister’s footsteps. you did everything right and yet, no matter your efforts, it seemed like you would always be a step behind your sister. 

opportunities didn’t tend to fall so easily into your lap. but you had been patient for so long that on the night of your twenty-fifth birthday, for the first time ever, you let it all go. took to the first upscale bar you could find and drowned whatever it was you needed to bury. the rest was then more of a blur. you remembered bits and pieces, 

(blue eyes, red lips, shiny shoes, a hand held out to you, inviting, calling, tantalizing) 

and then nothing. 

(a burning sensation that faded into blissful silence, and for once, the voices in your head fell quiet)

the next thing you remembered, you found herself awake in a room that wasn’t yours. grand, magnificent, and cold. another set of blue eyes assessed you with an amused quirk of a brow. they spoke slowly, as if you couldn’t understand them, and it lit up a rage hunger in you. red filled your vision, and you felt an urgency to draw blood. later on, you’ll shiver at how much of the truth that actually was. but back then, they didn’t even falter as they tipped your head back and forced the red you craved down your throat. 

so this is how it goes. the reality is that you will never shine like the sun, but the moon can be just as bright in a different light. your transformation was your rebirth, the opportunity that you had waited for your entire life. after your thirst had been quenched, they had explained the ways of the vampire. but truly, it was the notion of the royal court that had you entranced. a new goal had formed in your mind just as quickly as you had grasped the situation, and you pledged herself as a blood-sworn with little to no hesitation. 

in this new life of yours, you will have your chance to shine. you’ve always known that you worked hard more than anything, and even if that didn’t make a difference in your first life, you will make sure to work for your restitution in this one. you know you deserve it, after all. and if your transformation was a sign for anything, it was that not even death could stand in your way.

The staff for the anime of Kappii’s SNS Police manga revealed more cast members and the anime’s March 24 premiere on Tuesday.

Ryouta Yamasato will play the role of the police inspector, while Sakiko Matsui will play the role of the older sister. As previously announced, Nogizaka46 member Matsumura Sayuri of the rich girl.

"The staff for the anime of Kappii's SNS Police manga revealed more cast members and the anime's March 24 premiere on Tuesday.
