Ciao. I'm just a bit confused with the About Them AU timeline? What year did the snap happen and when was the second snap? What year is the About Him set? Thank you.

I HAVE LITERALLY DREADED BEING ASKED ABOUT THIS

which is why over the last few years I’ve been desperately trying to make sense of it myself.

Short answer: The timeline exists the way I want it to okay I did not think it through while starting About Him it existed purely out of vibes and what i wanted to happen 😣

Anyway, by the start of About Them, I did kind of figure it out but you’re just going to have to accept that Peter was 13 during CW/when he became spiderman and 14 during Homecoming/IW.

So the snap happened in 2019, but instead of the whole time-travel thing, they managed to find and kill Thanos in about a week before the stones were destroyed, and then Carol snapped everyone back into existence. it was basically just another Tuesday.

So homecoming and the snap happened during Peter’s freshman year when he was 14 and About Him starts in september 2019 when Peter just started his sophomore year (and just turned 15) and Harley’s in Junior year (about to turn 17). Harley’s actually 2 years older than Peter (a year and a half as his birthday is in december), but with the move from Rose Hill to NY and the different curriculum he decided to just retake his year.

The Avengers are pardoned in November 2019, Welcome to The Avengers Compound takes place in January 2020, Tony and Stephen get together around March of that year and around June the About Them flashbacks start, and a year-and-a-half later, in October 2021, the AT main timeline starts when they adopt Sophia. 

I don’t remember why it had to be 2019 and not just 2018? perhaps i just misremembered the canon date or maybe i got confused when I started About Them i really don’t know and I can’t just move everything back a year because at this point there are dates and horoscopes involved.

July Forecast for Aquarius

Mind: blown? July is one of those turning-point months for you, Aquarius: a time when things come together with a huge flourish—or go in a radically new direction. An energy that’s been percolating since February 2017 reaches its apex at the end of the month as a total lunar eclipse blasts into YOUR sign on July 27. Eclipses arrive four to six times a year, pushing us out of limbo and instigating bold changes. With two of summer’s three eclipses arriving this July, you’ll want to sit up straight, stay woke and be ready to greet whatever comes your way.

We almost want to write your horoscope backward this month, but in truth, there’s plenty of cosmic action all the way through July. And with fiery Mars, the planet of energy and drive, retrograde in Aquarius until August 12, you could be a bit of a dormant volcano until the lunar eclipse. Check yourself: Are you being overly intense and stressing out everyone around you? Mars has been in Aquarius since May 16, which gave you confidence and charisma by the boatload. But when the red planet reversed gears on June 26, all that fierce life-force energy got bottled up. Perhaps you’ve had to curb your enthusiasm or suppress other feelings, and the frustration of stuffing them down is palpable. Find an outlet (we recommend moving your body!) so that intensity has somewhere to go. Otherwise, you’re liable to just pick fights or rage internally—neither of which is a healthy option!

Jupiter is here from October 10, 2017, until November 8, 2018. Many Aquarians have already experienced a surge of ambition or new career opportunities. This one is the inaugural eclipse in a series that will fall on the Cancer/Capricorn axis between now and July 2020, initiating a wave of changes around health and healing, spirituality and creativity, and work and service. Over the next two years, you’ll play with the balance between control and surrender, left and right brain, logic and magic. You could dramatically shift your lifestyle to adopt sustainable health-conscious habits.

This is the only eclipse from this group in 2018, and it’s just a preview of changes that will really take flight in 2019. Still, it will be an intense start! From July 26 until August 19, communication planet Mercury will be retrograde in Leo and this dynamic-duo zone, scrambling signals with your closest crew. Jupiter retrograde is a time of philosophical and spiritual introspection and reflection, involving growth, happiness and success.

This year the main theme of Jupiter retrograde is romance and intimate relationships. However, Jupiter stationary retrograde on challenging fixed star in the Sting of the Scorpion can cause immorality and embarrassment. Some testing planetary aspects also bring the potential for jealousy, obsession and a variety of other excessive and destructive behaviors.

In astrology, your life purpose is encoded in the north node and south node of the moon. The lunar nodes are directly opposite each other in the chart. They aren’t planets, but rather mathematical points on the chart that fall in two opposite zodiac signs. For example, if your north node is in Capricorn, your south node will be in its opposite sign of Cancer, and so on.

Bottom line: The north node represents our karmic paths and the lessons we came here to learn—or the language we are learning to speak. The south node reveals the challenges and gifts we bring in from previous lifetimes.

The south node

The south node reveals the gifts that you bring into this lifetime, your sweet spot, your comfort zone. You will be innately good in these areas of life, and may begin your early path based on your south node leanings. While this can bring a sense of satisfaction, it is unlikely to elevate you to Blissville. There’s a sense of “been there, done that” in the field of south node activities. The north node is the exact opposite zodiac sign of the south node. It illuminates the terrain that’s calling your name, but climbing to the peak of this mountain is like trekking up Mt. Everest. How are the nodes used in astrology?

Astrologers use the lunar nodes to determine where your destiny lies (north node) and what you were in past lifetimes (south node). The nodes change signs about every 18 months. People born within your same lunar node group are like your “soul tribe.” You were incarnated with them to learn the same lessons.

The lunar nodes are determined by the points where the moon’s orbit crosses the “ecliptic”—the apparent path the sun makes around the earth. (We say “apparent” because in reality, the earth is revolving around the sun, but from our vantage point, it appears that the sun is moving.) The nodes take into account the sun, the moon and the earth. They fall in the same signs that the eclipses are in when you’re born.

The lunar nodes help us answer questions like: What am I supposed to do with my life? Why am I here and what’s my mission? What was I in a past life?

The nodes play a powerful role in non-Western astrology. Kabbalah’s astrology focuses primarily on the lunar nodes. This system calls the north node your tikkun (“correction”) and views it as the karmic adjustment your soul must make. Vedic astrology calls the nodes the head (Rahu/north node) and tail (Ketu/south node) of the dragon and takes a harsher view of the south node’s karma.

Note to parents-to-be: if you have a child around the ages of 18-19 or 36-37, you’ll share the same nodes. And if you date, marry, or join forces with someone nine or 10 years older or younger than you, there’s a good chance they’ll have the opposite nodes. (For example, if your south node is Virgo and their north node is Virgo). This can be a powerful but polarizing pairing—you’ve both mastered what the other one has come here to learn. If you combine your natural skills, you can be unstoppable.

The planet of war, desire, conflict, and lust only goes Retrograde every two years or so — think back to the years 2018 and 2016, most recently, and what topics came up for you for at least half of those years. Were they challenging years? Were they rewarding or full of drama? Did you have more conflict, and did you find ways of resolving the conflict? Which areas of your life seem to have turned upside down and been more stressful for you, and what did you learn to put in place? Next Tuesday, we celebrate the Chinese New Year! I am excited to greet the Year of the Pig with my new class, 2019: Golden Cicada and Welcoming the Wealth Gods. Join me on Monday to learn these powerful rituals for the new lunar year! You can learn more and enroll here.

A new lunar year also means new Nine Star Ki forecasts! In addition to Chinese zodiac astrology, I like to use the numerology of the Nine Star Ki to prepare for the coming year and stay energetically balanced. This practice was developed in ancient China, so it logically goes well with feng shui, and is based on a number system of nine rather than the animal system (but be sure to check out your 2019 zodiac horoscope here!). It also closely aligns with the five element principles and the I-Ching.

If you’ve never used Nine Star Ki before, have no fear! Use the guidelines below to find your number, and let’s get started!

You can calculate your principle number by using your year of birth. Beware: this requires a little elementary math ;)

As an example, if you were born in 1986:

Add: 1+9+8+6 = 24

Reduce to a single digit: 2+4 = 6

Subtract from 11: 11-6 = 5

*if you were born between January 1 and February 4, subtract from 12:  12-6 = 6

If you were born in 1940:

Add: 1+9+4+0 = 14

Reduce to a single digit: 1+4 = 5

Subtract from 11: 11-5 = 6

*if you were born between January 1 and February 4, subtract from 12:  12-5 = 7

Here's what all that calculating means for the Year of the Earth Pig in 2019:

If your principle number is 1, in 2019 you will be in the year of Celebration. This year will feel celebratory and playful. It is a great time to relax and pat yourself on the back for all the hard work that you put in the last few years. Enjoy yourself, rejoice and have some fun. As a 1 Water person, you will feel very supported and enjoy this 7 metal year. It’s an auspicious year for you!

If your principle number is 2, in 2019 you will be in the year of Stillness. This year will be much quieter than the last. It will be a time of stillness, like climbing up a mountain to meditate in isolation. This is a great time to focus inward and do some self-cultivation. As a 2 Earth person, you will feel at home in this 8 Earth year. This is a time to ground yourself and go deep and focus on self-care.

If your principle number is 3, in 2019 you will be in the year of Recognition. This year you will be in the house of fire, where you have the best opportunities to be seen and recognized by others. It is a great time to receive any promotions or any other projects that you want publicity for. Be careful, as all things, good or bad, may be unveiled to the public. As a 3 Wood person, you may be prone to burn out in this 9 Fire year. Add some water and go with the flow to tone down the flames.

If your principle number is 4, in 2019 you will be in the year of Planning. This year will feel quiet and is a time for planning. In the winter, it may appear that everything is dead on the surface, but underneath there is much life and activity. Similarly, it may feel slow, but take this time to reflect, review and plan for the future. As a 4 Wood person, you will feel very supported and rejuvenated in this 1 Water year. We may feel overworked; alternatively, we welcome some discipline into our lives. Avoid launching new projects, particularly financial ones. Instead, work on a new plan for creating order in your life, or on an old project that requires a new commitment. Emotional energy is not enough to fuel us for the time being; thus we could feel sapped on a physical level. However, making new commitments to old goals, shouldering responsibilities, and making careful use of our resources could feed our need for structure and order in our lives.  Jupiter semi-square Saturn. We’re forced to do things by the book, but may not want to. This is not the time to take shortcuts–they won’t work. When we think in big terms, or if we have the urge to expand, we confront obstacles or we are forced to face reality. Some re-structuring of our lives and of our business goals is now in order. We may be looking for new challenges, sometimes because we are forced to do so (because things are not going exactly as we had planned). Thanks to his ambitions, Indians are getting online faster than ever For a glimpse of how the internet is taking hold in India, catch one of Mumbai’s double-decker buses. Even at rush hour, when people pack so tightly into the ancient vehicles that it is difficult for the conductors to collect fares, and stragglers hang out of the open door, commuters still find space to get out their mobile phones. Dozens of tiny screens glow with WhatsApp messages, news and gossip sites, Bollywood films and Hindi serials. Just three years ago there were only about 125m broadband internet connections in India; by last November the number had reached 512m. New connections are growing at a rate of 16m per month, almost all on mobile phones. The average Indian phone user now consumes more mobile data than most Europeans. If any one person can take credit for this spectacular growth, it is Mukesh Ambani, India’s richest man. With his service, Jio, a mobile network launched in 2016 offering cheap, high-speed data, he has upended Indian telecoms and changed his country. Much of his fortune comes from a chemicals and refining business inherited from his father; his conglomerate, Reliance Industries Limited (ril), is one of India’s biggest. Unlike other phone firms, which make their money from call charges, Jio from the start gave phone calls and text messages away freely alongside data. Now Mr Ambani seems to want to go further and become an Indian Jeff Bezos or Jack Ma, using Jio as a launch pad—the platform now has a whopping 280m users. One prong of this will be online shopping; on January 18th he announced that Jio would join up with ril’s retail arm, which has nearly 10,000 outlets across the country, to launch a new e-commerce platform, taking on both Amazon and Flipkart, a local firm last year bought by Walmart for $16bn. More digital services, and content creation, are in the offing. Both foreign and local competitors grumble about the circumstances of Jio’s birth. The radio spectrum it uses was initially reserved for data-only services, and bought in a government auction in 2010 by an unknown company called Infotel Broadband Services. Mere hours afterwards, the company was bought by ril. In 2013 the company won the right to run voice services on its 4g spectrum, using voip (Voice over Internet Protocol), after the government ordered the regulator to change its rules. When Jio was launched in 2016 it had had plenty of time to prepare. Rivals complain that they would have paid more attention in 2010 had they known Reliance would back the venture. So as not to limit the market to people who can afford smartphones, Jio also launched its own 4g feature-phone, the JioPhone, which it says is “effectively free”. Customers pay only a refundable deposit of 1,500 rupees ($21) for the device, with which they can use WhatsApp, watch YouTube and take pictures. As Mr Ambani said last year, for most users their Jio connection “is not only their pehla [first] phone but also their pehla radio and music player, pehla tv, pehla camera and pehla Internet”. Data in India now cost less than in any other country. On average Jio’s users each download 11 gigabytes each month. Finns, the world’s hungriest consumers of cellular data, gobble 14 gigabytes. Jio users watch 17.5 hours of mobile video a month, far more time than they spend watching tv. Astrological development Fast-rising consumption is provoking changes, many for the good. Yogendra Mertiya, who runs a farmers’ collective in rural Rajasthan, says the internet is subtly altering the village he lives in. “Rajasthan is a feudal sort of a state, and on the face of it everything looks like it did ten years ago, but actually there are huge social changes,” he says. Lower-caste men these days can check their horoscopes online, instead of having to visit the local Brahmin astrologer, for example. Women who are scarcely allowed to leave home are able to search for information online. Politicians calling for the prohibition of alcohol have been able to win votes by appealing to female voters through their phones. Enterprising young people can become local celebrities by building what Mr Mertiya calls “a small following” of “perhaps a million subscribers” on YouTube. A Bollywood channel of songs and clips, t-Series, seems set to soon become YouTube’s most-subscribed. Not all the effects are positive. Rumours and spam spread through WhatsApp messages have become a public menace, in some cases even inciting lynchings. Another problem, at least in the eyes of the government, is the spread of pornography. In September a court ordered telecoms operators to block 827 porn sites to stop children being exposed. That so many men seem to like watching it in public places may have weighed on the judges’ minds. So India is being transformed. But will the bet pay off for ril and its shareholders? So far ril has spent a massive $32bn on Jio, with limited return. Mr Ambani’s firm has certainly succeeded in ejecting competitors. Since its entrance, six firms have gone out of business, including the one owned by his brother Anil, rCom. India’s telecoms industry has shrunk to four big companies (see chart 1). Bharti Airtel, previously the market leader, now relies on its enterprise and African businesses to keep it afloat. Vodafone has merged with another firm, Idea, and the new group is selling assets and raising capital to cover its cashflow deficit.

Squeezing out competitors has not yet translated into juicy profits for Jio. Since the middle of 2016 total revenue earned in Indian telecoms has shrunk by 21%, even as connectivity has soared (see chart 2). According to ril, Jio made a profit of 25bn rupees in the latest quarter. Bernstein, an equity-research firm, has suggested that its treatment of depreciation and amortisation is unusual in the industry and may understate its costs. Jio says its method adheres to Indian accounting standards.

And by some targets it set earlier, Jio seems to be doing less well than it had hoped. In 2017 it said that by 2020 it aimed to capture a 50% revenue share of a market it said would grow by 50%. Today Jio’s share is around 26% of an industry it has made smaller in revenue terms. It has all come at a big cost to ril and its shareholders. According to Credit Suisse, a bank, by 2018 capital investment in Jio reached about 700bn rupees a year. The conglomerate’s debts have risen to around 3trn rupees, close to its annual revenue of 4.3trn rupees. For India’s telecoms industry to be profitable again, prices need to go up by about 50-70%, reckons one analyst. Competitors are holding on, assuming that will happen, and ril’s share price has risen by 28% in the past 12 months on hopes Jio can cash in later. But it is hard to predict Mr Ambani’s next moves. His ambition to become a tech tycoon goes beyond making money in telecoms. As well as the new e-commerce platform around Jio, ril separated its fibre-optic cables and towers from Jio last December to create a new firm that is preparing to provide wired broadband to homes. Other digital services would follow, such as web-hosting for firms. ril has also invested in content creation, and has bought rights to distribute cricket matches and Disney films on its “Jiotv” platform. All this will bring Mr Ambani into direct competition with big e-commerce firms already investing heavily in India, including Google, Amazon and Flipkart. Their appetite for India’s market has been whetted by Jio’s connectivity explosion, but their executives will be worried that the government may favour Jio, a local champion. On January 18th Mr Ambani argued that the government should prevent data colonisation; Indians’ data, he said, must not be controlled by global corporations. Foreign e-commerce firms are already banned from holding inventory in India. In December they were also banned from selling products from firms in which they have an equity stake (a common workaround). Incumbent telecoms firms, too, have seen many recent regulatory decisions (such as one on whether rules on predatory pricing apply to Jio) go against them. Mr Ambani will need to keep regulators happy if ril is to earn decent returns on its investment in Jio. Even if he fails in that, he will have helped hundreds of millions of Indians get a first taste of the internet. Christians and the Zodiac

Text – Matt: 2:2 – “saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.”

Astrology is not a new field of study; the stars’ movements have been studied for millennia, and the zodiac has been used to measure the beginning of spring by the Egyptians and Greeks centuries before Christ. Today, a growing number of Christians indulge in horoscopes and zodiac signs. Many see it as harmless fun, others get a sense of self-worth and understanding about themselves from understanding what the stars say. What does the Bible say about this?

First of all, God created all the stars (Ps. 8:3, 19:1), and their clusters or constellations. In creation, God said the stars would be for signs, seasons, and measurement of time in days and years. However, astrology is an interpretation of the assumed influence that stars and planetary bodies have on human destiny. God expressly forbade astrology as a form of divination (Deut. 18:10-14), punishes those astrologers who refuse to obey (Isa. 47:13-14), and forbade the Israelites from worshipping the “host of heaven” (Deut. 4:19).  

But as Christians, we get our identity from our Father Himself. Our identity, personality and future are all found in Him. What better way to understand the purpose and usage of a thing than from its Maker? We know that His thoughts are to bring us to an expected end, to a hope and a future. We know that He made us, and everything we need to know about ourselves our lives’ assignments, and our destiny is most reliable coming from Him. We are born by the Word of God, and therein we find our identity complete. He knows the number of hairs on our heads, and how will He not know the plans He has for our lives? Following astrology robs us of the opportunity to have a truly unique relationship with the Holy Spirit here on earth.

Let us therefore draw closer to Him, seek His face truly, and throw all our concerns on Him. Place your trust in Him and in His love for you. Don’t corrupt that love by looking to ungodly sources that seek to draw your love away from the Father by reliance on the deceitfulness of the horoscopes and zodiac signs. God expressly forbids this. Rather, if you need clarity concerning your life’s story, seek God’s face, engage the Holy Spirit which is in you. He will guide you into all truth. The One who knew you before you were born will show you why you were born. He will order your steps daily, and show you His plans for you. Follow His leadings, and like a compass, He will lead you right into His arms.
