IT IS FINALLY DONE. Many thanks to Miri, @daresplaining, @hornheadonmain, @artbymintcookies, and @tofuthebold for all of their hard work on making the Mike Zine happen! This is my submission, and after months of screaming over it I am finally able to share it with you all. I highly recommend getting the zine (it’s free!) if you want to see the other gorgeous art in there by some very talented Mike fans, as well as an incredible fic by none other than Daresplaining themself (plus other bonus content).

Last Movie I Watched: So this is a bit of a complicated one - the last film I watched in part was “A Quiet Place” for uni, and I say in part because I was ill for part 1 of the lecture, thus I only saw the last half hour of the film aaaaand it was alright. The last film I saw in its entirety was “Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindlewald”, which was a bit of a hot mess but I love Newt a lot (and also Jude Law in a waistcoat), so all shittiness is excused!

Top Three Bands: Hmm... overall, in terms of hours I’ve spent listening? Probably Panic! At the Disco, the Shins, and Vampire Weekend

Top Three Shows: Uuuugh this is a difficult one. Maybe 1) Happy Valley 2) In the Flesh ((I like my gritty northern dramas lmao)) and 3) Daredevil. There are a lot that I love a lot so this was difficult

A massive shout out to some of the coolest cats on this website! United initially by a love of Mike Murdock and shitposting, The Hat has become so much more than I could have ever imagined. It has been over three years, and I still love waking up to whatever unhinged nonsense has happened during the night. I cherish every spicy take, every heartfelt confession, and every headcanon designed purely to cause as much pain as possible (looking at you, youngRepublican!Foggy). Daredevil may not be forever, but the psychic damage caused by our friendship is eternal. Wuv u guys!

This is all I ever wanted. Sam causing mild inconvenience for these men. He has a forum where he circles everything that is even slightly red looking in every public picture of foggy. A few of those are actually the DD suit, but no one can follow up. He photoshops masks onto foggys face as if that's even remotely helpful. Has posts like "have we ever seen his nipples? No? We haven't seen Daredevil's nipples either. I rest my case."

Here's my contribution for the day:

Hells kitchen has a foggy nelson fanclub run mostly by members of the community who just know him from his work and also random folks who see him in his daily route (his barista makes sure to take the same shift every weekday and gives the fans a little peek into his breakfast orders to keep their morale up)

Foggy knows about it and thinks it's amusing , and they also archive his work, like everything he's published, new rulings he's counseled, high profile cases he's worked on etc etc (matt also features in the fan community sometimes, but because he seems a little more reclusive, they try to respect his privacy, esp considering matt doesn't have a (civilian) social media presence)

Its a bit of a meme like "look at our resident uncle figure go!" But they genuinely do love foggy and make shitty edits of him in sunglasses and smoking weed or whatever

Anyway, people start connecting dots, realizing he takes on a lot of cases where DD has connections and one anonymous user makes a very detailed, three hour long, private dissertation video about how foggy and DD are, in fact, secretly married. It's mostly joke content. Mostly.

Anyway, the boys find out and start joking around and teasing the public about it, being seen on the streets together, matt delivering take out in costume to foggys apartment, one notable time where foggy tweets something like "asked @actualdaredevilHK if he could stop borrowing my sweaters. He's hoarding them at his apartment" to which matt replies "these are lies and slander. My point was that half of 'his' sweaters are mine, anyway, and he had been hoarding them first." And neither of them elaborate despite everyone losing their minds in speculation.

The anonymous user posts a triumphant emoji and leaves the forum forever.
