Male Dynastes Grantii, newly emerged

I finally framed these after they've been sitting around waiting for weeks. I went through some pretty serious life problems recently but I'm back at home now. Anyway, they are mounted on hardboard with office tack pins inside of thrifted frames that I spray painted. My boyfriend cut the boards for me, haha. The final cost of both pieces is about $40. It took maybe 3 weeks to stitch them both and another 2 weeks of design. The sprites I ripped from SpritersResource dot com but the rest is my own design. I got these frames for $5 each, they were covered in mold on the back side! The pink one still had a JC Penny price tag for $60, wow! I chose to frame them this way because I had fumbled and cut my aida too small but I think it turned out cool.

That was a horned hercules beetle that I caught, despite Maddie wandering around and almost scaring it off.

Lovelie Robs, same aged sibling to Robbie (though they like to point out that Robbie was a late hatch). A loving photographer who takes photos of everything they love and enjoy- (with the a chance for a bonus backhanded comment about how atrocious your outfit looks smh)

He’s quite your typical “mean girl” persona, though she often hides his distain usually with either their camera, or love bombing. But other than that, he’s a very cheery individual who’s (initially) very sweet, charming, talkative, and even a lil selfless. If they really like you, they’d keep cheery cute attitude with you, but if not, they’d still keep it, but there would be very obvious hand handed complimenting and praises to come smhh getting worse the more ya interact with em.

not really a serious character just like Dr Stone, is one of those background characters that shows up randomly in a special or somethin

Also! I feel like people can be a bit too mean about Hercule sometimes (because okay. the bit about claiming ki techniques as tricks is one thing, and like. I get where people come from in him taking the credit for Cell but also come on. Gohan would not want to be famous pls) AND I feel like the presence of animal people and other weird stuff on earth drops off as the series progresses, which out of universe is because of the change in tone but in universe is like. That has implications.

So. Concept of Hercule as yes, a bit (or a lot of) a glory hound and a showboat but also as someone who uses that influence to, like, champion the rights for the various non-human sapient Earthlings particularly as they start to get pushed to the sidelines of urbanization. (And, you know, given I make the Ox King an actual ruler in my au, and I have the Ox Kingdom as one of the larger/more prominent kingdoms with the rare majority of non-human sapients, also potential for earlier interaction between Gohan and Videl <3)

Day 14 of Pokemon Legends Arceus

I have finally gotten the cherry

After seven Cherrims (or something)

However

Rowlet is the last Pokemon I need

And I knew after getting Cherubi, I knew, that by the time I finally get a distortion, I would either get Dartrix or Decidueye and NOT the first in the line

And I got a Dartrix

So tomorrow is catching Rowlet then finally face Arceus

And I'll probably end the game there

In other news, I caught a shiny Toxicroak
