Named after Hercules for their incredible strength, they are the longest beetle in the world. They are capable of reaching lengths up to 7.1 inches with the horn included!

The Western Hercules Beetle (Dynastes grantii, often misspelled as "granti") is a species of rhinoceros beetle that lives in Arizona, New Mexico and Utah in the United States and in parts of northern Mexico.

This is quite realistic! The real deal is quite impressive too. The Hercules beetle (Dynastes hercules) is a large insect that is a member of the Náttúruval deck and their life cycle is pretty wild, where about two years of its life are spent as a giant larvae. If my boyfriend were a bug I think he' be a Common Blue Damselfly- and he think I'd be the grub of a Western Hercules Beetle!

Fun fact!

The males can reach up to 17cm in length, making them the longest species of beetle in the world (if jaws and/or horns are included in the measurement). But there's very visible sexual dimorphism – the females look completely different!
