Luffy D. Monkey: Zoro, Sanji, Robin, Franky, Ussop, Chopper, Brook, Vivi and Shiraoishi. Look! Nami, we demand an explanation! Since when did you and Torao became too close?

'Ugh, why did Luffy have to be the first one to see this? He even tagged all our closest friends.' Nami thought in despair.

Sanji Vinsmoke: Is the shitty doctor your boyfriend, Nami-swan? T^T

Zoro Roronoa: Witch, I told you to behave. Law, better take care of her.

Nico Robin: My, my, I never knew that he stole your heart, Nami.

Chopper: So it was Law that Nami likes?

It was not only her friends that reacted and commented. Even Law's friends did.

Shachi: Captain! She commented. Hurray!

Penguin: Yay! Our captain is on his spring time.

Bepo: Sorry for not noticing it earlier. I'm rooting for the two of you. May your relationship be strong. Aye!

There are a lot of people who reacted which she did not know personally, but were mutual friends with Law in Facegram. At this point in time, she regretted what she did. It would be a big deal for his and her friends. She even read a comment conversation between Penguin and Luffy saying they should team up to match the two of them. What is done is done, so she decided just to meet up with her friends in Baratie's Food Joint. Luffy said that Robin and Franky will be joining them since they have no work for today.

Her friends have already placed their own orders when she came to their table. She ordered her favorite tangerine smoothie and the lunch special from the counter. Luckily for Nami, Law and his friends were seated far from their table. She is too ashamed to look at them, but her curiosity urged her to take a glimpse on his table. Even with the crowd their eyes always find each other. His lip draw into a smirk, then he waved at her. She smiled and waved back while her cheeks is slightly blushing. It felt like it was just the two of them in the food joint full of people. But they are not. Both their group of friends is observing the two of them.

Luffy, Chopper and Ussop was laughing out loud when they saw Nami coming back to their table.

"Why are you laughing?" Nami questioned. The trio continued to laugh till Ussop decided to answer her.

"Law sudden used his bag to hide his face after you smiled at him. He was so red."

"Eh? I don't believe you. We both know you're a liar." Nami taunts her friend.

“Shishi.Torao! Look over here. Nami wants to see your face" Luffy shouted. Nami hurriedly punched Luffy to silence him.

She subtly glanced and saw Law's friends looking at her while pointing at Law, who is burying his face on the bag. His friends was laughing and teasing him. He is obviously pretending to be sleeping, she knew he wasn't someone who can sleep in any place. She found this scene cute and she happily ate her lunch with her friends.

Marine duties in the town vary depending on which branch you are assigned. Being a Rear Admiral, Drake doesn’t have much to do than waiting for a new mission for him. He often uses his time off visiting museums to see dinosaur artifacts or collaborate with universities for dinosaur researches as a hobby. Today was he was supposed to meet Corazon, Law’s foster father, to fetch a package for his father. However, the old man called that he will be sending over his son because he has urgent matters to deal with his brother.

He knew the whole time him and Law would be together would be spent with them pissing off one another. That nerd really makes him tick. Just thinking that they would be meeting up in a few minutes made him exhausted.

While strolling in the park, he saw a familiar red head who was leisurely walking.

“This would be interesting.” He thought. He heard that Law tend to be quiet when she’s around.

“Nami!” He called out.

“Oh! Hey Drake. It’s been a long time since I last saw you. What’s up?”

“Nothing new really. I’m supposed to meet up with Law in Buggy’s Steak House for lunch. Join us.” He invited.

“It is your treat? You know I like free things.” The younger girl beamed.

“Of course, and you’ll get a bonus of seeing Law.” He teased.

“I see him almost every day in the campus or at Baratie. He should be the one getting a bonus of seeing a cute girl like me on weekends.”

“You should say that to him.” He chuckled.

They arrived shortly at the Steak House. Law was already grumpily waiting for Drake.

“You said you’d be here thirty minutes ago.” Law scoffed.

“My bad. I brought company.” Drake pointed at Nami.

“Nami-ya?” Law was shocked at the unexpected appearance of the girl.

Drake wanted to laugh out loud at the shocked state of Law. The rumors were indeed true. Maybe this lunch would be interesting.

“Hey Law!” Nami greeted.

Nami sat next to Drake while they are sitting in front of Law. Law ordered for Nami because Drake won't stop teasing him to pay for her.

"I never knew you were this close." Law stated as he looked at the two red heads conversing like its just the two of them.

"We knew each other for quite a long time and you know the thing about Robin." Nami explained. Drake and Robin used to date, however, things didn't proceed romantically as both have their priorities.

"Hn." Law quietly finished his meal.

The two red heads continued on talking. While he stayed quiet observing the two.

It didn't take too long for Drake to excuse himself. “I better go. We have emergency at the base. Walk her home or I’ll tell Cora-san that he did not raised you to be a gentleman. Surely, he will be disappointed.”

As a matter of fact, there was no emergency. He was just annoyed by Law’s state. He thought he would enjoy him squirm at the girl’s beauty, but it became boring since its not like his usual shitty attitude. Might as well give the two a little push. Maybe Nami could forgive some of his debts.

"You don't really have to walk me home, Law. I'm going to the university to check on the progress of our team's prototype." Nami said.

"Nah. I'll walk you there. Could it be you're afraid of me?"

Nami was shocked by the question. She was quite shy that he is walking her to the university but not afraid.

"Nope. Why would I be afraid of you? I doubt a nerd could outrun me." She taunt.

"I don't think so. I may be a studious type of person but I have been athletic since I was middle school. I beat up Shachi and Penguin when I first met them."

"Being violent is not the same as athletic. Why would you even beat up your friends."

"It was their fault since they were bullying Bepo. We were all young back then." He argued.

She noticed he is awkwardly keeping distance between the two of them as they walk.  

"You know, sometimes I don't get what you are thinking. Online we are so close, but offline we're so awkward." She said bluntly. If she wanted to move forward they would have to break their barriers.

"Its just that I don't know. When I'm with you I feel like a different person, Nami-ya. Every plan I make to get close to you, seems won't work. I guess plans do not apply to you and your friends."

"Do you really like me? Or are you just pressured from the people around us?" She was embarrassed to ask, but decided to ask anyway.

"Why would I be pressured? When I met you before it was just you, not my friends nor your friends. At first I thought I was just an infatuation, but it grew on me. Nami-ya, I like you."

She leaned to gift a light kiss on his cheeks. "Let's take it slow until you are used to being around me. We should hang-out like today more."

He stared a her rosy cheeks and glorious smile. What happened today will surely change them.

"Oh! I think we should give them our response, Mr. Heart stealer."

Their friend's phone rang with a notification; it was a tagged comment from Law. He posted a photo of Nami drinking coffee from a cafe. From the photo, they could see Law's favorite hat on the table.

'I don't know about being a Heart stealer, but this girl clearly stole my heart.' This was the caption of the photo.

Before their friends could comment on the post, another notification rang. Again, they were tagged in the comment section, but this time it was by Nami. The photo she posted was from the same cafe. A booked covered the lower area of this face, while his golden eyes looked straight to the camera. Nami leaned her cheek on the top of his head, while giving a bright smile and peace sign.

'Oops! Exams are still ahead. Gotta keep this nerd Heart stealer focused on studying.'

Nami captioned it this way to show that even if they will be moving forward, their dreams would be their top priority.

It wasn't long until her and his phone began ringing. They friends wouldn’t stop until they heard the whole story.

526-528: "Undersea Volcanic Eruption! Drifting to the Fish-Man Island!", "Landing at the Fish-Man Island! Beautiful Mermaids!" and "Excitement Blow-out! Sanji's Life Under Threat!"

Will this be one of those arcs that’s filled with sympathetic villains? The kind of characters who... well, you get where they’re coming from because they have a cast-iron reason for their villainy and you feel conflicted about cheering for the heroes? Or will it be more complicated than that? 

I hope I like this arc. Ever since Arlong Park, since I learned about the Sun Pirates from Hachi and the racism Fishmen experience I’ve been hoping Oda might dig deeper into the theme. It’s early days yet, but from what I’ve seen in this episode, I’m quietly confident he’ll deliver.

Cthulhu Is... Friendly?

Must admit the Flying Dutchman action was a bit of a let-down. I thought Captain Vander Decken would be the next villain (or at least the henchman of the next villain). It was built up so well. The creepy “Dead men tell no tales” speech, Brook confirming he was the Real Deal, that the legend told of how the captain lost his mind, killed his crew and cursed the gods (who got their revenge by cursing him to drift forever).

I thought that might make a good plot line (that was before Hammond appeared and the Real Plot kicked in).

The Kraken coming back and sucker punching the Sea Bonze was so worth it. I laughed like a drain and could not believe I was cheering a Kraken like it was Hell in a Cell. Top it all off, Luffy, Zoro and Sanji came paddling back in a single bubble. And Luffy had made the Kraken his pet and named it Surume! Only Luffy can get separated from his crew and return with a pet Kraken. And laugh about the fact that he almost died.

The volcanic eruption action scene was fun. The Flying Dutchman crew and the Kraken would not mess with nature. The water glowed an ominous red and before Luffy gave any orders, Surume the Kraken was already checking out. Nami made the call for them to leap into the deep trench ahead to avoid the pyroclastic flow (is that even possible underwater? I have no idea.)

Usopp got to show off some of his skills by shooting a net-like plant weapon that stopped the debris from the eruption from smashing Sunny to pieces. (Could be good in combat for subduing bad guys.) I liked how Luffy was a good captain and praised Usopp and his cute Kraken pet for doing a good job. There’s that leadership shining through.

This was just before a stray rock bonked Surume on the head and the Strawhats woke up... ten thousand meters under the sea?

But... how? I thought. 

It was bright. There was natural light and vivid colours. How? 

Because it was Fishman Island! :D

Cannot lie. I was excited to finally see it. I wonder how it was for manga readers then to see that place brought to life after so long. I mean, how many chapters was it since it was first mentioned in Arlong Park until now when it was animated. I mean, it was huge! And there were entire massive trees inside the bubble. I still have no idea where the natural light was coming from, but pffft, did I care? It was FISHMAN ISLAND! :D

Then the Border Patrol Arrived?

At least, that’s who I thought they were at first.

And they brought Plot, which, let’s face it, is always good.

Three shady-looking Fishmen rode up on massive Sea Kings. They were so tough, they spoke to Surume the Kraken like it was a disobedient pet. Or... more accurately, as if it was a race traitor. “Why are you obeying such fools as humans, Kraken?” Surume fled the scene (obviously scared of these guys).

They recognised the Straw Hats too. I love how Luffy said, “Who are you? How do you know about us?” Um, Luffy... everyone knows about you now. xD

But these guys went way back. Much further than Alabasta, Enies Lobby, Impel Down or Marineford.

“You are the ones who foiled the Arlong Pirates’ plan. You stood up for Hachi and knocked out a hateful Celestial Dragon, just like Fisher Tiger, the hero of Fishman Island.”

They claimed they were the New Fishman Pirates and demanded the Strawhats enlist under their banner or be sunk.

Hammod did most of the talking but two others tagged along (Hyouzo and Kasagon). 

Nami and Franky knew Luffy would say no (and possibly put them in danger because they couldn’t fight back). They took a huge gamble and spent the last of Sunny’s air crashing through Fishman Island’s protective bubbles.

The dramatic tension when the coating shrank, pinning all the Strawhats to the deck was great. But it really ramped up when the first bubble ripped off the coating and the second one turned out to be full of water. I didn’t expect that twist.

Was that the closest the Strawhats have been yet to almost dying? 

Camie to the Rescue!

Luckily, they have a friend who was sort of expecting them. Luffy, Usopp, Chopper and Sanji woke up at none other than Camie’s place! (The others were separated. Franky, Nami and Robin are together. I have no idea where Brook is and Zoro is on his own.)

Turns out she works at a Mermaid Cafe on the sea floor of Mermaid Cove. The dorms are more affordable on the sea floor, as opposed to the ones higher up with more natural light. I liked that Oda has imagined an entire class system here. Mermaid Cove seems an okay place. Pappagu the starfish is in the fanciest district: Fishverly Hills (lol!) and is a famous designer. Hachi lives in Fishman District, which Camie said was a ‘rough place’. Luffy still thinks Pappagu is Camie’s pet. I don’t think Luffy completely gets how Fishman Island works yet, but Camie was nice and didn’t say anything. Hammond also hinted at another Fishman Island faction: Neptune’s Army, who were introduced later but I don’t know which side they’re on yet, so they seem like a neutral third party so far. 10/10 world building from Oda there.

Camie showed them around. They took a cute turtle elevator up to the “surface”, where there were clouds, blue sky, trees and rainbows. Luffy mentioned reuniting with Jimbei because “when Ace died two years ago, I didn’t lose heart thanks to him” (yes, Luffy. I’m glad you realise just how much Jimbei did for you!)

But Jimbei was not on the island. Camie seemed to hint the War in Marineford caused a bit of trouble in Fishman Island. She didn’t go into it, damn it.

Then, the royal family’s Fish Boat swam into view, heading straight for them, carrying the Neptune Princes (Fukaboshi, Ryuboshi and Sanboshi). The mermaids hid the Straw Hats, in case they were arrested for illegally entering Fishman Island. One mermaid made the mistake of holding Sanji... let’s just say a little close to her chest.

And Lots of Beautiful Mermaids

You know what, I didn’t want to say but over the past couple of episodes, Sanji’s weakness had been annoying me. Not really badly. Just that the joke was getting a bit thin because it’d been played so many times for laughs.

Now I know why.

Does Oda do nothing without a purpose?

He had to set up all the blood loss stuff because blood transfusions are a central tenet in the hatred a lot of Fishmen have over humans.

When Sanji had his Vesuvius Moment, Dr Chopper bravely came to the rescue. Just as the Princes seemed about to take the Strawhats (though they didn’t want to arrest them. Still not sure what their deal is), Chopper placed himself in harm’s way and shouted, “Stop! I’m a Doctor! Can anyone donate S RH negative blood? If Fishman blood is the same, would anyone be willing to donate?”

Chopper unwittingly referenced an Old, Highly Politicised Grudge.

Fisher Tiger: The Hero of Fishman Island

Hammond, who had been lurking, waiting for an opportune moment to catch the Strawhats, couldn’t stay quiet at that point.

“No one on this island would give blood to lowly humans,” he scoffed. “If anyone did, they’d risk punishment from the Dark Night, from human haters. The Old Law in the kingdom states that donating blood to humans is prohibited.”

When the Strawhats protested, Hammond fired back with some Context.

“You humans set that rule first! You people have a long history of fearing us. Didn’t want your blood mixed up with ours. That’s how the hero, Fisher Tiger, died. He risked his own life to free slaves of all races. But after a bloody war, he died. He could have lived if he had a transfusion. The heartless humans refused to give their blood to him.”

I was gobsmacked by that. Honestly. What a great twist, in terms of both plot and morality! How are the Strawhats going to fight against years of racism, abuse, toxic politics and the veneration of a martyr-like figure who means so much to the people of Fishman Island? 

This is going to be a wild ride.

Usopp dismissed the old law. He begged someone, anyone, to help Sanji. Hammod tried to take Luffy by force but severely underestimated how much stronger he’d become (that Haki, honestly... it is so badass).

Camie hijacked the Royal Fish Boat (the royals here seem pretty laid back because if that was real life, you’d be in your local Impel Down faster than you can say, “But I need a blood transfusion!”)

And it seems something is rotten in the state of Fishman Island. Not only are the Strawhats the first human visitors in a while, the Princes were unable to deliver a message to Jimbei.

I wonder if it’s anything to do with this shady character?

This is the guy who wants to see Luffy. The one Hammond calls “Boss.” Hordy Jones, I think his name was? And here we have a shady face, not entirely revealed, sharp teeth and a good voice actor? This has happened before with Moria and Crocodile. Could this be the villain? Is this Hordy Jones, or is he higher up the chain?

I hope so. Was blue-balled with the Flying Dutchman stuff. Don’t want it happening again, haha.

Also, who or what is Noah? Was confused as to whether it was a location or a person.

 Happy Jolly Monday, minna-san! I hope everyone had a good weekend. The weather is getting chillier so stay warm, drink plenty of warm fluids, and stay healthy. The flu is getting around lately. Stay in top shape. With that said, let’s get on with this week’s news. We have loads of stuff to share with you so you know the drill. First off, last week’s chapter is filled with new mysterious characters. We start off w/ Ussop, Franky, & Robin enjoying Sanji’s soba. It’s been a while since they had his cooking, and many customers are lined up. Just as everyone is eager to eat his delish soba, three goons from Kyoshiro’s clan name Kaku, Kuni, & Suke showed up to shut down Sanji’s soba stand. They tell Sanji that he’s gotta pay up if he wants to keep his shop safe from hooligans, but he refused. A little girl was about to enjoy her soba until Suke knock it off from her hands and cried. They then knocked over his soba stand. Seeing this enraged Sanji. The customers then ran off. The handsome cooked demand they eat the soba from the floor, but refused to do it. That answer was wroooonnng! So Sanji knocked that cahoots out of Kuni. Franky then took care of Suke with a new technique he learned from Senor Pink: Iron Suplex. Nice one, dude. Some spectators were shocked to see the guys defeat the jerks. The little girl whose soba got spilled came back with a smile hoping to eat the soba was excited to have. She approached and Sanji was able to give her some leftover. She tells the gang that she was late for work, but waited all day in line to eat the tasty soba. Her face glowed with excitement. So the girl’s name is Toko, but if says if you add O in front of her name, her whole is O-toko which means man in Japanese. The gang laughed at her name, and Toko laugh along telling them that her name is means “man”, but she is a girl. Ha ha ha ha ha! What a cutie!, She then finished eating and was about to leave saying that she’ll be back in the same streets since her job is an escort for a famous courtesan, and that many beautiful women will come by. At the end, the old lady that trained Robin to be a geisha came looking for her saying that she has been summoned to be at the shogun’s palace and that a famous geisha name Komurasaki will be presented at the castle as she is the no.1 famous geisha in all of Wano kingdom. The boy got excited to hear such rumor. So the parade begins as Komurasaki passes by with many praised coming from everywhere and Toko made just in time, and it seems she is the younger sister of the famous geisha. Back at Kyoshiro’s hideout, his goons informed him of Sanji’s rebel, and ordered to send out assassins to kill him. Suddenly, a shadow nine dragon figure appears from behind that happens to be the infamous Lord Orochi. Who is this mysterious villain that everyone speaks of? What is the role of this famous geisha? Is she a friend? Or a foe? GAH! So many questions! No chapter this week so it’s another two week break so be patient. Next, this past weekend’s episode is turning chaotic. Luffy continues to struggle to land a hit on Katakuri, but is trying to stay clam so he can also see his attacks coming. Back at the sea, Big Mom shows up in flames and in rage demanding for the wedding cake that the gang is hiding. She starts tearing apart Sunny as Jinbei jumps to defend. He tell her that that cake is not with them, but ignores his truth saying that he believes Perospero’s words. She says she would kill him if he lied, but believed in him. She starts attacking. Jinbei was suddenly knocked off from the ship. Nami and the others try their best to fend off Big Mom, but she was continuing tearing the ship. Just as things were getting worse, Jinbei shows up again and knocked her off from the ship, and Nami lay the finishing blow with her lighting attack. At the end, Luffy continues his struggle with the fight as Katakuri is attacking one step ahead. Next time, Luffy tries his best to see Katakuri’s attack with the wise words and training he learned from Rayleigh as his help and the rotten young sister, Flampe, makes her appearance. Don’t miss it! Now on with the goods! First off, figurines! figurines! Loads of it. Jump Fest is getting near, and Megahouse will be displaying 4 new POP figurines at the event. Next year, they’ll release this awesome POP Maximum of Luffy in gear 4th Snakeman mode, limited ed. of Hina, Maximum figurine of Zoro 3 thousand world attack, and bikini figurine of Nami with a beer. Tuesday, all arcades will stock the first Glitter & Brave figurine of Sanji with his cape, and one w/out it. Next, in February, new Gashapon mini figurines will be released. This time, they’ll have Carrot, Shanks, Marco, Ace, Ussop, & Luffy in gear 4th. Cute little ones. Next, this month, more new stuff will be in stock. More new goods of Mugi Collection. They’ll have new key chain straps of Luffy, Brook, Nami, Sanji, & Chopper. They’ll also have this thermal bottle of Luffy. Don’t forget they’ll also sell Luffy’s tea can set that comes with a cute small tote bag, and small plates as well. Next, Bandai will be selling this new awesome red, silk yukata shirt that has the jolly rogers symbol of Luffy on the back with rest of the gang. It will be available for sale at Jump Fest as well. Online order is a possibility, but unsure. No worries, we will ask at the event and get back to you on it. Next, guess whose birthday is approaching next month? Yup! You all know him. He’s the hottest pirate with a feisty, but well-manner attitude. Give it up for Ace! YAY! YAY! The stores will be selling his birthday button, and his acrylic figurine. If you spend over 1000 yen, you’ll get his free mini poster. Now that’s hot! Tower will announce bday goods of him soon. Next, NEW YAKARA BUTTONS! YOLO! The theme this time is UTAGE which means celebration, and it’s all guys! They’ll have Luffy and his boys. New characters include Pedro, Buggy, Shanks, Coby & Helmeppo, Kinemon, Thatch, and many others. It will be released on Dec.22nd at all stores including the tower. Jump Fest will also have it available at TOEI shop. Next, in February, they’ll sell this awesome t-shirt and plate of Katakuri with the word Merienda on it. GUA! So cute!  Happy Monday, minna-san! I hope everyone is ready for flowers and sunshine. Spring is coming soon. Be ready to feel the glee moment. Orochi is still infuriated with Komurasaki for slapping him and not allowing him to punish cute Otoko-chan. Looks like he ate a zoan type fruit known as the snake-snake fruit, model: nine-headed dragon snake. Anyway, he demanded the brave, lovely geisha to bow her to apologize and that he would lighten her punishment. Same answer: she refused. The anger grew; one of his heads attacked a party guest and then snatched her with his slimy mouth. Everyone was in panic to see her at his jaws. The Oniwaban ninjas then showed up in time. One the guests asked a ninja name Daikoku to save the courtesan, but he says that he’s in liberty to do what he wants. Poor Otoko-chan screams for her sister’s life. She begged Robin to save her, but she’s so busy protecting her. Then, other Oniwaban members ran as they were chased by Brook’s spirit and made poor Otoko-chan passed out. Meanwhile, Shinobu and Nami are inside the ceiling ready to save Robin, but were discovered by one of the Oniwaban members, Hanzo. He recognized Shinobu, but insulted her when he remembers her good looks. Hearing that made her upset and used her the “Killer-Man” jutsu to hit his precious below. (you should know what it is). She then made the ceiling collapse and injured Orochi. Komurasaki was freed, but then is confronted by the deviant Kyoshiro as he slashed her in one blow. Everyone freaked out to see her dead, even the girls and the ninjas. Orochi got enraged with Kyoshiro as he never commanded to kill her, but he reminded him that it was a mercy killing for rebelling against him. The guests were utterly shocked at his behavior, but ignored their criticism as he pulled out the time symbol that was handed out by Kinemon. EH? Could he be one of the samurai protectors of the Kozuki clan? Orochi shed tears to see the beautiful courtesan he loved dead at his feet. His rage grew even more as he chased Robin w/ Otoko-chan, but luckily, Nami came to the rescue and summoned Zeus to shock the shogun. At the end, the next day at Leftover town, Big Mom is a guest at O-Tsuru’s house enjoying some traditional sweets while Chopper and the others are trying to leave, but worried that her memory could come around. Only nine days until the rebellion. Can everyone still keep a low-profile until the time? Or will all their efforts of planning be wasted? What truth lies behind Kyoshiro and Komurasaki? Are they members of the Kozuki clan? GAH! So many questions! Don’t miss it this week! Next, this past weekend’s episode was a blast. Sanji’s siblings came to his aid as all the Big Mom pirates came on and on to kill Sanji and Luffy. At shore, just when Nami and the others are cornered, Judge and his fleet came to their aid and attacked all the tart ship fleets. Back in town, all the members urge to kill our heroes as Brulee tell everyone to not let Luffy escaped as she yelled to everyone that he defeated Katakuri. The news shocked them to hear that their strongest member of the family has been defeated. Hearing this news enraged all the members, especially Oven as he chased our heroes ready to burn them to death. However, his siblings all came to his rescues sending him off to shore one by one. At the end, Reiju to his aid as she looks at the boys for the last time and tells Sanji to move forward and cherish his friends. She sends him off and the boys finally reached Sunny. Next time, the gang are still in a pinch while Bege prepares to leave the cake for Big Mom to devour. A final miracle approaches as the Sun pirates will appear. Don’t miss it! Now on with the goods.  BOO! Happy Halloween days! I hope everyone had a good weekend. Everyone got their costume ready? Be safe and enjoy a spooky of candy, party, and fun! With that said, let’s get this week’s news on the road. We have much to share with you. First off, last week’s chapter was a total meltdown. Kaidou shows up at Leftover village. Luffy and the gang are shocked to see the great man himself appear for the first time. Everyone is panicking that their plan to foil and raid his castle would be revealed, but Luffy went out right away so that everyone’s whereabouts are kept secret. Law then of course had no choice, but to go after the rubber captain to stop him from making the situation worse now that he knocked out Holdem. At the village, Kaidou demands Jack if he had seen Luffy, but he had no answer to provide him. However, Hawkins did rat out and that he seen him and the gang at the ruins of Oden castle. Of course, Kaidou was all drunk to stay on his errr…um… on his scales. So he sees the ruins and throws a powerful fire spit at the ruins. At the end, Luffy was angry to see that the gang’s life was threatened and lands a powerful punch on Kaidou’s head. YIKES! The angry arises. How will the powerful yonkou react to his threat? Is raid plan gonna be ruined? Guess we’ll see this week. Don’t miss it. Next, this past weekend’s episode was ballistic! Luffy was able to escape from mirror world so he can regain his strength, but he and Brulee showed up at Nuts Island with Big Mom causing so much rampage and struggling to escape from her wrath. Meanwhile, Sanji and the girls finished the cake. The handsome chef is in disguise and everyone was awed to see the fluffy cake. Just as they were about to leave, Oven stands in their way. He allowed Pudding and the chefs to pass, but he attacks poor Chiffon for her betrayal and allowing Bege to assassinate their mother. Just was he was about to attack, dearest daddy, but cowardly Mr. Pound shows up to her rescue unknown to her of his identity. Sanji then jumps in and kicks Oven and rescued Chiffon. At the end, just when they were able to escape, Oven appears again and takes Chiffon as hostage. However, the beloved gangster husband, Bege, arrived at Chocolat town ready to lay his life down to rescue his beloved wife. Next time, Luffy and Bege are ready for round to take down their enemies. Will they succeed? Don’t miss it this weekend! Now on with the goods, first off, look who showed up to haunt our beloved home. It’s our friendly, ghost mascot tower, Tongari-san. Why the sudden haunting my friend? Tongari-san says he’s happy to celebrate Halloween at the tower even though the month is over. First off, a new, horrific show event is coming soon in December. The event is called “Ghost Horror Event: Invasion of the Mummies!” The story goes that the gang comes across a haunted ship only to find out that it’s crawling with many scary mummies. The tower will be the entire and you, the audience, are part of it. Only three days will be premiered. It will commence on Dec.2nd, 8th, and the 14th. It will start 5:50 and 8:20. Ticket reservation will start this Thursday. Be quick cuz they will be sold out quickly and the tower will not sell these tickets. This is only online reservation. The Seven Eleven website have them available. Next, new posters will be given at the Tongari store if you make a purchase over 2500 yen. The store will give out 10 different posters of the Straw Hats from their attractions and two special posters from the live show that has Ann and Ace. You will draw out an orange ball that will have a number of the poster. Or if you draw out a blank orange ball, you are free to choose the poster you like. Next, new birthday goods are released. First, if you visit the tower and purchase goods over 1000 yen, you can choose one birthday bromide card of Zoro, Bepo, or Katakuri. Next, here are the new birthday buttons of Zoro and Bepo.  Happy Monday, minna-san! I hope everyone had a good weekend. As for us, we are bracing for the typhoon that’s passing by Japan so we are making sure we stay safe and healthy. Hope it won’t last the whole day. However, it won’t stop us announcing our news and all so you know the drill. First off, last week’s chapter was just confusing and shocking. We first start off seeing Tama enjoying a very good meal in a while. Luffy asks Speed to take her back home so hopefully she’ll have the heart to not tell on them. In the Flower capital, a beastly lady is teaching horrible things about the Kozuki clan, and that they are responsible for the downfall of Wano kingdom, and that Orochi Kurozumi, the current shogun, brought peace to the country. We then move to a money exchange shop where we meet some hustler name Kishiro Inemuri. Robin is on undercover as a geisha to get the intel of Wano kingdom. So she overhears from Kishiro about the deaths of Kozuki clan. He goes saying that the 9 fallen samurai that protected the Kozuki clan will curse anyone at night since they all perished inside the castle 20 years ago believing it was the only way to rid the curse. So Luffy and the others finally made it to the ruins of Oden castle. He sees the graves of Oden, Kinemon, Raizou, Momo, and Kanjuro. He couldn’t believe what he saw, and demanded Law to explain the situation. So he says that everyone is in hiding. Then Kinemon appears, but in pain from a case of diarrhea. Could be from the poison water. O-kiku frolics and hugs Kinemon, happy to see him again after a while. Momo also appears and happy to see Luffy and Nami and the others finally showed up. They were at bay lost and looking for him. At the end, they all went inside an old shed to talk in secret, and Kinemon confessed to everyone about an unbelievable truth about them. He says that he, Raizou, Kanjuro, Momo, & O-kiku hail from the past exactly 20 years ago. That there is very confusing. They’re from the past, and yet how did they travel from the future? What more secrets does the Kozuki clan have? Guess we’ll see this week. Don’t miss it! Next, this past weekend’s episode is turning more violent. Luffy is hanging on as much as he can to defeat Katakuri, and yet he’s getting more aggravated by Luffy dodging his blows. Both fighters are feeling the frustration. Meanwhile, back at the castle, Mont’Dor is making sure that their plan to rid of the gang goes swell with the help of their critter hiding underwater. We then see Capone fending off Custard, the 6th daughter, and he sure is keeping them away with his strong ship. At the end, Katakuri unleashes his awakening to finish Luffy by suffocating him with loads of mochi. Next time, Katakuri attends to his so-called “snack-ritual” that no one is allowed to see. Will Luffy free himself? Don’t miss it! Now on with the goods. Due to the aftermath typhoon, our friend Tongari-san stayed at home, but he sent us a telegram. So he says that the tower is getting lively with more fun Halloween events. Remember if you visit the tower wearing a cosplay, you’ll be given a free sticker of any of the Straw Hats. Also, guests for the Halloween costume contest have been announced. Oct. 13th & 20th, voice actors of Brook and Franky, aka Cho-san and Yao-san, will be judging. Oct.27th, the children’s contest, will be judge once again by the lovely voice actress of Nami, Akemi-san.  Bring your “A” game! Neat prizes will be given away to runner ups and winners. Next, the tower finally reveals Marco’s birthday button and acrylic keychain. Cheerful with a pineapple. Totally him. It will be available on Oct.5th.  Hidey-ho, minna-san! Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a good weekend. As for us, we are stoked for many upcoming events happening this summer. What’s coming? We’ll soon know. So we got loads of cool stuff to share with you. You know the drill. First off, last weekend’s chapter finally resumed as we last see Dragon, Sabo, Koala and the rest of the revolutionary army moved their base to Ivankov’s kingdom, Pink Island. They’re ready to get down to business of making their move to declare war against the Celestial Dragons. Meanwhile, a group of nasty pirates called the Pink Beard pirates are terrorizing a village with Pink Beard as their leader. As they’re taking over the village, taking away money, and destroying homes, some odd heroes appeared. But these are not your ordinary heroes. These are heroes that are so well-known. They are the four top commanders of the revolutionary army that lead the 4 parts of the Grand Line. First we have a huge giant name Morley. Next, we have a brave attractive woman name Belo Betty who ate the cheer-cheer fruit. She waved her flag and gave some encouragement and temporary physical power to the villagers to fight back. Moving, we have a strange cat mink who is some inventor/scientist name Lindbergh. He was anxious to try out his new weapon he created. Lastly, the mysterious man in black coat name Karasu who can make crows. It’s possible he has a devil fruit. He speaks through a speaker beak mask. Anyway, they defeated the Pink Beard pirates and, went their way to meet with Sabo and the others. The meet to Reverie is in two days. What will the outcome be? Don’t miss this week’s chapter. Next, this past weekend’s episode was nostalgic as we see how Big Mom met Mother Caramel. We first see that her parents left her behind since she was causing them trouble. Time passes, and we meet Mother Caramel. She was link that helped the giants take responsibility of their heinous actions so that they can form a good bond with the humans. Years later, she lived on Eblaf, and opened her orphanage called the Lamb House. There, Big Mom met her and the rest of the orphans. Big Mom was happy to meet everyone, but her rough house play, she had to move to the giant village where she met the elders and oldest pirates, Lord Yarle and Lord Yorle. Things went well for a while until Big Mom went crazy when she couldn’t handle the fasting tradition of 12 days that she went to destroy the village to claim semla sweets. Next time, Mother Caramel will try save the village from Big Mom. Don’t miss it! Now on with the goods! FIGUIRNES! FIGURINES! LOADS OF IT! Doflamingo will be released on Aug.24th which will include a free folder of Bellamy. Fujitora will be released on Sept.28th which will include a free folder of Kaido. If you order either of them, you’ll get free metal dog tags of Mingo and Fujitora. Last, but not least, the OP musical event, Otoutage, have announced that the brass wind band play theme songs from the anime such as Maki Otsuki’s “RUN! RUNI! RUN!” and “Memories,” Tohoshiniki’s “Share the Word,” Mr.Children’s song from the movie Strong World, “Fanfare,” and lastly, the Straw Hat’s famous song, “Family.” You can still get tickets for the show.
