Mirabel's Skirt Symbols (UPDATED HC)

Since a few years have passed since the full reconstruction of Casita and continuing mend of the family's relationship, I'd like to think a now slightly older Mirabel's skirt embroidery reflects on the progress made since then.

Abuela Alma & Abuelo Pedro | Two Caterpillars (Dos Oruguitas)

Instead of a single candle representing her Abuela Alma, Mirabel's new symbol design would probably be of two caterpillars w/ love hearts. (Bonus points if the hearts represent the colors of the OG triplets.) ❤️🐛 💙🧡💚

Julieta & Agustín | Bowl w/ Bees 🥣🐝💙

For Julieta, Mirabel would likely make a small bowl w/ a tiny bee on it, and two blue hearts rising from the top. Both would represent Mirabel's parents and their love.

Pepa & Felix | Rainbow/Sleet & Umbrella ☔🌈

Mirabel's Tiá & Tio would be proudly represented by an embroidery of a rainbow jutting upwards from an orange umbrella. Sleet and rain symbols could be near the rainbow too. (She's proud of her Tiá! No matter what kind of weather she has.)

Bruno | Rat wearing green ruana/drama masks 🐀💚🎭

Bruno's embroidery would likely be of a silly rat(s) wearing a green ruana and/or drama masks. OR or - maybe just the rats wearing green ruanas w/ the hood up/bucket on their head, all really depends on what Bruno's preferred vibe is.

Isabela | Cactus w/ blue/purple flowers 🌵💠

To help represent the stronger bond with her older sisters, Mirabel likely surprised Isabela w/ an embroidered symbol of a green cactus - but with a big dark blue flower at the top, bigger purple one in the middle, and light blue one at the bottom. All three flowers proudly represent the bond between the three cool-colored sisters.

Luisa | Donkeycorn! 🦄💜

For Luisa, Mirabel's skirt symbol would now be of her sister's favorite animal: the playful Donkeycorn! I'd like to think it would be in a proud and powerful stance, representing the unconditional love and both the physical and emotional strength of her older sister.

Dolores | Red Bow/Ribbon w/ Musical Notes 🎀🎶

Maybe in the time during reconstruction, there was a moment where Dolores freely showed the community her melodic singing voice. Mirabel wanted to help remember that moment w/ her cousin's iconic red ribbon, accompanied with little music/poetry notes.

Camilo | Mischievous Chameleon w/ Plate of Arepas 🦎🧡🫓

I like to think despite being older and probably expected to act more their ages, both Mirabel and Camilo never lost their mischievous sparks in the family. Mirabel's skirt symbol for her cousin represents this w/ none other than a mischievous chameleon in front of a LARGE plate of arepas.

Antonio | Jaguar & Big/Little Toucans

For her littlest cousin and partner in crime, Mirabel made, in her eyes, one of the best designs of them all. This being a mighty jaguar face like the first symbol, but with one big toucan and little toucan atop its head (representing the brotherly-sisterly bond they have. 🧡💙

Mirabel | Accordion with a Pink butterfly

I wanted to save the best for last. For the miracle herself, I'd like to see think Mirabel would make a symbol of her talents, being an accordion w/ a symbol of a pink butterfly in the middle.

Poll Options explanations:

Drop early chapters of EYED / Dreamlike: This is a Moon-centric x reader fic I've been working on for several months now and I originally planned to start posting it when I finished it or got really close to doing so. I dropped a sneak peek of it here! I find myself currently on a standstill on it's later chapters, which is why it hasn't been finished yet, but otherwise I am reallllly happy with it's messaging and pacing. (Rn I have plotted out 15 chapters but it's looking like it could be longer with how I write oops-)

The first chapters have been pretty polished at this point, so if people are really curious about this one, I don't mind to start posting the chapters up to a certain point. If this wins, I'll post the first 3 chapters for 3 sequential days, then 4 and 5 will come out in the next week, and then the last week I'll post ch. 6 for no particular reason mhmm yup I am not planning anything nefarious-

Drawing requests: This would be my first time doing something like this, and while I know I can pop out some bangers for y'all I also don't want to dig myself into a hole and leave y'all waiting for a long time. 😅So if this wins, I'll take the first 10 requests and draw them out! If I feel capable of doing more I may open some more slots for y'all, but I need to test my speed and my capabilities here first. Expect some lovely rendering bc I love it so, but I won't be doing backgrounds (besides simple colors) for the sake of my sanity.

Drabble requests: Most of ya here probably see me as only an artist, but I do write and actually started out as a writer first for this fandom hehe. ✨ I've been doing well recently with short stories so as long as y'all want em, I can hopefully dish em out at a reasonable pace! I, again, haven't done something like this before. So if this wins, I'll take the first 10 requests, but I feel more confident that I can do this at a reasonable pace, so if things go well I'll open up 5-10 more slots for y'all!

Rendered drawing of a dca AU: Hehe, my forte /J. I've drawn some whacky crossovers, cute sillays, and horror stuff at times, but some of y'all also know I love soooo many AUs in this fandom, hehe! I definitely do not mind drawing AUs, there are MANY I haven't drawn for, but I will be avoiding drawing other's specific AUs. I love making fanart, but this is going to thank y'all for being here, so I would like to keep from using someone else's AU -- it would feel like I'm stealing them e3e.

Plus, this is from me to thank you! And so will the goobers! I'll try to be as detailed as possible with both the characters and location <3

If this wins, I'll set up another poll to last for 3 days. It'll have some general au options like Mer, then I'll list out some crossovers I have done like Submas! Sun/Moon, and I'll add my own AUs! Ok to be very for real, this originally started as a complete joke concept... but I've grown to love this character immensely. The first fan character I make in half a decade and it's a One Piece OC. Luckily im not the only one-- I hope to be posting more about the little fan crew me and some good friends have made, with each of us having our own weirdos to flesh out the ranks. For now, a little bit about Cal ! Former member of the Sun Pirates, now set off on their own adventure with a rookie crew, Calypso is a sea snail fishman who serves as a first mate, informant slash tactician, and emergency navigator. Their snail heritage gives them the unique ability to tap into the telepathic frequencies of den den mushi, and their penchant for digging up secrets without explanation has given them quite the reputation as some sort of oracle.... and they're more than fine with not correcting people on it.

Like a quadtrillion years ago I talked about a concept I had for a Full Squidbeak Platoon AU where we have about two agents per game, and my OCs I'd made to fill in those gaps. But back then I couldn't draw as well as I can now so I just made them in Splatoon's character creator and left it as that.

But now I CAN draw and now that Splatoon 3 has ended live updates and we've been told Splatoon 4 will be stepping away from these characters, I might as well finally draw and post them, right?

So while i’m writing my Fake Peppino fic, I wanna expand the idea of fake clones more, along with shapeshifters and shapeshifter-sub species, and along with that I ended up making two fake clone oc’s myself KHFKASHFAS. So to describe em quickly. PECAN/FAKE NOISETTE:

Works with Noisette in her cafe.

Shadow Mimic, cannot change her appearance very much so opts to wear a suit instead. Made it herself.

The arm attached to her back moves the limbs via strings, a lot like a puppet, the shadow arm on her side moves freely.

Despite copying Noisette is actually very smart, is a lot for calm than Noisette as well.

She’s not better at her when it comes to cooking however.

Voice sounds identical to Noisette, words seem to echo no matter where she is.

PAINTMAN/FAKE PEPPERMAN:

Unlike Pepperman, lacks a lot of self esteem and is quite timid despite his appearance.

Mouth is both permanently stuck in a smile and is non-functional over all, due to this and the lack of a voice box they’re mute, and communicate through sign language or a note book.

Love art just like Pepperman, and heavily idolizes him.

Easily startled and likely copied Pepperman to try and gain some of his self confidence and bravery. Also both of em are really great friends with both each other and Fake Pep, b u d d i e s.

plus, just look at the photo he's sliding across the table: i mean, he couldn't possibly be being serious about this, even though barton is of the opinion that there is some resemblance between the joker and the... other clown. it was a picture of some guy cosplaying as the joker and another dressed as ronald mcdonald fighting.
