#poorly drawn mdzs#mdzs#lan wangji#jin zixun#wei wuxian#su she#(Su She needs to have his carrie moment before he can have his Carrie Moment.#Which means he needs to exist as a punching bag before he can hit 'em with the rebound).#My first draft of this comic had WWX slurping LWJ's wine per actual scene canon#As it really is a great scene of how WWX is willing to absorb the scandal and harm that befalls others.#It had a lot less to do with it being LWJ and more so that WWX just happens to be the kind of person who refuses to turn a blind eye.#It could have been any Lan who was being pressured (inappropriately) to drink (do not pressure anyone to drink irl PLEASE).#Because this is a romance plot it of course *is* LWJ. But don't forget that in this moment they aren't on great terms.#It's not a knight in shining armor moment - it's a 'you were being treated unjustly and I have the power to absolve you from that.'#And as we are very soon about to see - WWX certainly cannot turn away from those who need aid he can provide.#And like Jin Guangyao; that kindness is also his downfall.#By the way - that you all for the amazing community commentary on the last comic. I really loved reading everyone's thoughts!#Suyao shippers...I get it now. You had me at 'wen ning and WWX parallels'. Don't know if any other trans people need to hear this, but it might be a good idea to check with your doctor if there are any ways they can legally and safely help you build up a stockpile of your hrt. I hope it'll never become necessary, but it might at least help bring you some peace of mind.
If you live in a red state where trans healthcare will continue to be threatened no matter who wins the presidential election, like I do, then your doctor might already have ideas in place here. My doctor uses a loophole in insurance coverage for vials of testosterone - at my dose, taken weekly, one vial lasts me a month. I used to get one vial per refill. However, the vials are marked as "single-use," even though pretty much no one uses them that way, so many insurance companies will cover four vials in one refill, allowing me to put three vials aside with every refill. It's good to have, just for peace of mind, even if (as is hopefully the case) you'll only need them in the event of small-scale inconveniences like bad weather or sickness.

Okay I'm so sleep deprived so pardon whatever this is but something that's got me FUCKED up about ai generated pictures songs writing is that it just fucking kills the ability to analyse for me because there's no fucking INTENTION behind it. Like why was this decision made why were these colours used what does that say about the work NOTHING because a bunch of programming took work that DID have intent and theme and purposeful choices and turned it into SLOP. The thing no one ever considers while writing up character analyses about Merlin is that. he must have been sooooooo sleepy.
#I see everyone talking about the nuances when you look at Merlin through [x] lens#BUT WHAT ABOUT THE SLEEPY LENS#WE CAN’T KEEP SLEEPING ON THE SLEEPY LENS#(can u tell I'm exhausted)#see this reads as if I'm joking but I'm actually being SO serious. I think the lack of rest was a significant factor in Merlin's conduct#IF he got a solid 8 hours of sleep + 2 hours minimum JUST to himself everyday uninterrupted... I just know things would turn out different#like it isn't even asking for much. decent sleep + a frankly sad amount of down-time. and yet. While I absolutely hate not posting, I'm also very glad Soli is on mini-july break because guess who has two thumbs and just spent the past two days in a migraine coma!? THIS GUYYyyowowwww.
#never been so glad that I'm not at any of the numerous events I put the comic on mini vacation for#being in a con hotel with a migraine is something i have experienced and never want to experience again#that was ax 2005#that was Pain#got lucky every other year I went and never got struck down again#except for the year I went a week early to stay with friends and got a migraine a few days before#but a friend's quiet couch is far better than a con hotel for that#anyway!! thanks to having a couple of new messages during my coma I remembered I had other messages I meant to answr WOOPS#I will poke those once my postdrome lets up a bit#I do hope everyone AT a con or on vacation is having a great time!!
