ArtFight came to a close…

...and with that I would like to thank everyone for an incredible month of fun, excitement, and the fastest art growth/improvement I think I ever experienced in my life. This year's AF was incredibly engaging, you guys attacked me 48 times, and out of those 37 were Pioneer-themed (!!!). I apologize I didn't manage to revenge everyone, but at the very least I saw and commented on every drawing that I received. Thank you so much! It still blows my mind that this blog has gained so much following in less than three months. I'm glad to see people enjoy my silly little scug and the adventures she gets up to.

That said, this year's AF has also been very busy for me, and my poor drawing hand is in a bit of pain. I'm taking a short break from posting here on this blog, and I'll use that time to finish the script for my AU. This is also for the sake of my health - I need my body to rest and repair after a month of shrimping. Some of the artists I look up to had RSI flareups due to AF, and I'm desperately trying to avoid the same fate.

I'll return to answering the asks once I'm well rested, probably around the middle of next week. After all that I'm hoping to get back to the regular posting schedule of 1-2 posts a week.

Annnnd this is the LAST piece I managed to finish. But it's also the last revenge I needed to do, so I managed to make something for everyone who made art for me!!! Not counting folks who revenged me attacking them. xD I like Rainwings, I like scarring, and Widowmaker had some really interesting patterns, so I was drawn to him for my revenge!! I figured a nighttime campfire writing something fit his vibe.  I had soooo much fun with Artfight. I had like 4-5 more things that I only got sketches done? But I'm hoping to finish those when I have time again!! So probably a while from now xD

hmmm :o so chau grian's watcher abilities allow a view into things not usually able to be seen. there's not much physical interaction there. what would make grian's abilities dangerous? i understand access to sensitive information can become dangerous, and when not a lot is known about something new, it's good to remain cautious, but is there any other reason the NHO locked grian up so quick? i feel like there'd have to be physical damage done in order to draw their attention. hope u're having fun with artfight! :D i see lots of cool works being released.

i was thinking the more Dangerous aspects of watcher powers could be like, reality-breaking stuff? i think that Watchers aren’t really of this plane of reality, and if grian were to lose control over his powers it could both bring harm to him with like. the worst sensory overload & breakdown ever + it could damage his surroundings as well? breaking reality? gravity starts to change around him? sending psychic shock wave blasts at people? exposing everyones minds to information about the universe too complex for the human mind to comprehend that drives you insane?? stuff like that perhaps..

i also think because watchers are so rare and powerful, there’s a risk that others out there might have bad intentions and want to use those powers for their own benefit. not that the NHO’s way of handling things is necessarily good, but things could be a lot worse if say, grian had been found by a criminal organization first and had to do their bidding instead? so that’s why it’s kept pretty secret that Grian has watcher powers

I had a lot of fun this year and drew a lot of different characters, even more than I managed last year which was a surprise for me. There was a lot of people I wanted to attack and hopefully I will be able to next year!
