He bowed politely. “You can call me Helios, and I do believe I have something for you if you’re willing to do something important for me. And they both have to do with this.” He turned over his hand, a controlled flame escaping his skin as if it were his own blood. “What say you? Interested, fire-child?”

The princess was severely restricted for the first time in her life and she was incredibly and unequivocally bitter. Perhaps more than bitter — downright explosive. 

She crossed her arms over her chest, eyes wide with rage and disgust. She just couldn’t understand Zuko’s motives. She had expected a death sentence from him and she would have been content with that. Rotting away was simply torture. ❝You do not know what’s good for me, only I can take care of myself! I don’t want, nor do I need, your pathetic, pitiful attempts at speaking to me! You’ve never been much of a people person; how does anyone expect you to run a nation! That should be me, Zuko, I should be the one on that throne and you stole it from me!❞ She spat the words out of her mouth as if they were poison with the full intent on hurting her ever so perfect older brother.

❝You cannot save me, dear brother, your precious hope is long gone... How does it feel?❞ she laughed, a deranged howl of amusement erupting from her throat, ❝You don’t love me, Zuzu... You can’t love me...❞

who is more likely to hurt the other? Likely Zuko not that he would mean to, but Luu holds onto his hate still and sometimes falls back into old ways.who is emotionally stronger? Zuko. Luu is still recovering from his scars.who is physically stronger? It’s a tie. If it came to an all out fight between them it wouldn’t end pretty.who is more likely to break a bone? Neither really. who knows best what to say to upset the other? Luu. He isn’t above being cruel and saying hurtful words when upset.who is most likely to apologise first after an argument? She didn’t care whether he accepted or denied her help, she was going to go get him anyway. After all, he was her friend! And friends didn’t let friends be stranded places! Ty Lee snuck to the family car, sure that none of her siblings would want to use it at this time. Her parents would be mad at her for sneaking out this late, but it was for Zuko’s sake.

           It wouldn’t be too hard to find Yuki. In truth, not much distance had even been placed between the palace and self. Well, considering all the places that could have been found.. A roof top on a seemingly abandoned building toward the outskirts of everything wasn’t in the criteria of far. 

           Heavy breaths drawn into lungs through drying lips and out nostrils. Cyan vision distantly staring out over part of the fire nation before him. Knees brought to hunched torso with a clammy hold that readjusted every few moments to keep from falling. 

           It wouldn’t even occur that time began to pass steadily by. Or that at some point everything became spacey. Everything but the view faded. The brush of any breeze against skin, everything grows silent. Instead drowning within mind, the thoughts that poured. It was times of loneliness that life’s build up surfaces all at one time. 

           Hours must have passed before the spark of warmth, wrapping around brought in lithe frame, the ruffle of bangs and that press against the top of head, would pull him back to reality. Tender affection met with an accidental heavy breath slowly released. Sight closing. Chin nuzzling downward between knees. 

           Seconds tick with no response. No movement. Though when ready, eyes barely open. Drinking in Zuko’s features only to flick toward the bottom corner of eyes. “I’m fine.” The lie would come out like second nature. Not meaning to, nor wanting to worry Zuko. “I’m sorry.” Follows hushed.
