Hongkong trip: it was my first time, Mama took me with her, I had fun, we had a city tour then disneyland, kaya lang hindi ako nakaikot sa disneyland ng mabuti, si mama sumakit yung paa nya, kaya ayun na upo kami sa tabi ilang oras. Hay naku sayang.

Macao: layo ng byahe mula hongkong hanggang macao, akala ko 30 mins lang, yun pala mdyo matagal, hindi ko din nakayanan yung gutom, I didn't have lunch before going there, kaya ayun, parang nawala ako sa mood, pero after gumala kumain na din kami, medyo mahal yung mga foods pero masarap naman. My happy memories this 2024. Thank God.

Hong Kong Day 2 - Disneyland

The second day of our trip to Hong Kong was a Friday. We assume going to Hong Kong Disneyland ( 香港迪士尼樂園 | Hong Kong Disneyland ) on a weekday would be better than weekends, at least slightly less people. It's still quite a lot of people but wait times for most rides are alright except for one or two rides.

Disneyland across the world have very similar layout, whether it's Japan, Anaheim etc.,  so it's not too difficult to get around within Disneyland. Most importantly when traveling with kids, we rented a stroller for HKD 150 plus another HKD 100 deposit.

Then we started off with rides in Tomorrowland, wait times are around 15 minutes. Obitron was our first ride, perfect for kids but similar to most amusement parks. Weather was perfect, so it's comfortable. Space Mountain is scary!! I didn't know it was a rollercoaster, I was more scared than my kid @BabyZacToys. Kids enjoyed Ant Man and The Wasp Nano Battle the MOST. We went so many times OMG.... It's a shooting ride where you're given two guns to shoot targets and there is a boss at the back. Wife went to Iron Man as well, it's like a 3D show as if you're Iron Man.

Then we went to World Of Frozen, the Frozen Ever After ride was Fantastic! Perfect for kids! Now both @BabyZacToys and @BabyAsherMak are obsessed with Frozen. Wandering Oaken's Sliding Sleighs is a rollercoaster. We had two Mickey Mouse ice creams as well, came with our tickets. After that we had lunch at Royal Banquet Hall. Queue was long as it's supposed to be the most popular one. Food was just ok... Should have tried other options.

After lunch we went to Winnie The Pooh ride called The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. It was fun, especially for kids. To save time, we took the Disneyland Train to Adventureland to watch The Festival of the Lion King. It was Spectacular! After that we stopped for popcorns, kids have been asking for whole day. Then we visited Tarzan's Tree House, nothing much to us but fun for kids. It's located in the middle of a lake, so we had to take a boat back and forth. Closes at 6pm.

Story Time! Mystic Manor is another popular ride at Hong Kong Disneyland. It's especially fun for kids. But the queue is so long. Even though we just went to the restroom not long before we queued up. When it was about our turn, Zac suddenly wanted to go to the restroom and I know it's difficult for him to keep it until after our ride because the ride may be long. My anxiety levels were off the charts because we have queued for quite long and it was our turn already. Luckily, I had a just finished mineral water bottle in my bag, I found a window of opportunity where our queue area was hidden and I had him relieved himself in the bottle and I threw the bottle away in the trash can right before the ride. That was the biggest relief I felt. So remember, keep a bottle in your bag just in case.

After that we went to Toy Story Land. The Toy Soldier Parachute Drop ride looks fun but my kids were too scared to go on it. I don't even dare to think about the RC Racer ride. So we went on the Slinky Dog Spin. It was fun for kids. After that ride, we went to return our stroller and collect back HKD 100 deposit.  @kharhyen  went to the Space Mountain ride that she missed in the morning because we took turns to take care of kids. She wanted to go to Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars but it was too far. At the same, I took the kids to Ant Man and The Wasp again, for 3 times!

The night ended with the Disneyland Fireworks Closing Ceremony. Super Awesome!

O espaço é praticamente uma Arendelle,cenário onde aconteceram as aventuras de Elsa, Anna e Olaf.

Será uma verdadeira imersão a cultura nórdica com lojas temáticas, jogos interativos, montanha russa, o Palácio de gelo da Rainha Elsa e muito mais!

My little finding outside the movies - "Royal Portraits" ❄️

My eleventh finding is how many appearances of royal portraits in various books 😄 While working on my lingonberry finding related to Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea, I've found more movie/book reference in the park, I love seeing all the decorations, including the small details like the sleeping Sir Jorgenbjorgen, books title, lutefisk, sextant, various portraits hanging on the wall and more 💙

I've found there are many unknown portraits that I think have a high chance of being Anna and Elsa's ancestors. I've also noticed that a few portraits are mentioned in various books too. So, here are my findings inspired by these details 😄

Before I begin, I want to give a shout-out to the Arendelle Archives projects related to royal family: Arendelle's Family Tree and Anna and Elsa's lost relatives!❄️

The entire saga of joong going viral on japanese twitter for his crazy stunts is so hilarious.

First he went viral because of complaining about the lack of jd fanfics. The japanese people were impressed with him talking about fanfics so openly.

Then a random person saw joong's face on this viral tweet and revealed that they remembered joong for being a handsome guy flirting with another tall handsome guy(dunk) at disneyland hongkong.

Now another random person saw joong's face and revelealed that they remembered joong for being a handsome fan of jackson wang.

All of these people had no idea that joong is an actor. So basically, joong became famous on japanese twitter for being a hardcore fanboy and flirting with his bestie? This is hilarious. I swear joong will end up on global news one day for something unhinged and people will be shocked that he is actually an actor.

It will be hilarious if joong's godzilla au somehow became viral too.

Or that one clip of joong watching the untamed with the nurse when he was in the hospital.

I love him. He is hilarious. It's so much fun being a jd stan.

Frozen’s 10th Anniversary

It was wild.

Starting off with a bang, in February Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that Frozen III was in development, later confirmed by Josh Gad. Idina Menzel and Jen Lee confirmed it in June, with Jen Lee going on to say that she would not be directing this installment of the franchise. However, she confirmed that she knew the person who was, she loved their story, and she trusted them completely.

Her enthusiasm did not go unnoticed.

On top of the 10th Anniversary for Frozen (November 27) this year also marked the 100th Anniversary for Disney Studios as a whole (October 16). To commemorate both, much of the activity peaked towards the last three month of the year.

The hashtag #Frozen10 was created to celebrate the anniversary.

On October 11, the Forces of Nature podcast was released over several installments. It was met with mixed reviews; some enjoyed it, some were more critical of it, and most agreed that while it was fun, it did not have the chops to be a major installment of the Frozen franchise.

On October 16, Disney released a short film called Once Upon a Studio to commemorate their centennial celebration. It aired on ABC and showed the hustle and bustle of Disney Studios as everyone (all of our favorite characters) prepared for the big celebration! Elsa, Anna, Kristoff (and technically Hans) were among the many classic Disney characters that appeared!

Two novels were released this year. The first book was the first installment in the Disney Legends trilogy entitled Fixer Upper, written by Jen Calonita. It tells the story of Kristoff’s childhood and life before he met Anna in Frozen. The second novel, an anthology of short stories, was created specifically to celebrate #Frozen10. It is called All is Found, and it brought together 10 authors to write 10 short stories to celebrate the anniversary. It was edited by Heather Knowles and Mari Mancusi, veterans in non-film Frozen lore.

November is the month things started reallly picking up. The merchandising train at Disney rolled out a lot of Frozen merch, including limited edition dolls of the sisters specifically for the 10th anniversary. On November 16, Bob Iger announced a fourth installment of the franchise, with multiple voice actors and creators tied to the project confirming it later that same day. This coincided with the Grand Opening ceremony of the World of Frozen at Disneyland Hongkong. Jen Lee joined in this celebration, with the gates to the park opening four days later.

She informed the world on November 22 that Frozen III and Frozen IV were one story across two installments.

The anniversary itself was on November 27. Disney released a press release on their official website commemorating all that had happened in Frozen history (kind of like what we are doing with these blog posts). And, of course, the merchandising train spun out once again to give us all new merch specifically for the #Frozen10 celebration.

Towards the end of the month, the Frozen song playlist was added to Spotify and Season 5 of Disney Speedstorm was released with Frozen characters.

The year ended with exciting activity from the fandom! The Youtuber GeekCritique worked closely with the Arendelle Archives to create a video detailing the history of Arendelle. The video was released on December 23 and managed to make headlines! The other major project was a fanzine celebrating #Frozen10. Inspired by All is Found, several fans came together to create Water Has Memory: A Frozen Decade. Within the zine are the fandom's Frozen memories, presented in the form of Elsa & Anna accessing them together through Ahtohallan.

Needless to say, this year was a major leap forward for all things Frozen. It gave so much to look forward to, and it was a sizable way to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of this beloved story.

My first trip to another country

Last December, I was able to go to Hongkong together with my family. It was also my first time to ride a plane and train. Each day of the trip brought new sights and adventures. Disneyland looked so magical. It was a very happy place. I enjoyed every ride. I was also able to visit the Ocean Park. I have seen many animals in there. The roller coaster ride was unforgettable. Though most of the time we were walking, we had the time of our lives on that trip. We tasted many different fruits and pastries. We ate seafoods and other famous foods but not all of them were delicious. Filipino food is still the best and there is no place like home.

Sebelum berangkat ke Hongkong aku berencana setiap libur cuma bawa botol air minum sendiri jika habis di isi ulang ditaman. Beli makan nasi bungkus yang paling murah dan makan sekali aja dalam sehari. Bawa alas Tidur dan perlengkapan sholat. telvon keluarga. Jangan beli baju jangan beli apapun. Gak usah jalan-jalan kemana-mana. Dulu sudha banyak menjelajah destinasi wisata, Disneyland, ocean park, the peak, Hiking ke pegunungan mana aja di hongkong sudah pernah, sudah ya masa muda sudah dilewati, sekarang masa dewasa Harus hemat nabung yang banyak untuk mewujudkan harapan dan membangun masa depan yang jauh lebih baik

Tapi.... awalnya berjalan lancar, aku enjoy libur sendirian dan menabung sebanyak mungkin. Mengemat pengeluaran diri sebisa mungkin. Tetapi ada aja pengeluaran dirumah... ya memang kalau dirumah kebutuhan gak ada habisnya. Pengeluaran tak terduga bisa datang kapansaja dengan nominal yang mengejutkan.

selang beberapa bulan aku ada teman.. enjoy juga sih memang dulunya aku suka berteman dan jalan2... kadang menikmati masa2 seperti itu. Tapi aku ingat kembali mulai terasa boros jika punya teman. Mungkin hanya 3bulan laku alu menjauhkan diri... Demi apa....? Demi aku bisa menjalani hari libur sesuai kemauanku... ak ingin lakukan apa yang aku inginkan.. aku jnginmakan apa yang aku inginkan... aku ingin berhemat tanpa canggung dengan teman. aku ingin beribadah tanpa harus membuat teman jadi sungkan ...

kini aku bisa memulai kembali... Bawa botol minum sendiri. Meski kadang masih pingin juga beli minuman ala2 indonesia... beli makan sehari sekali tapi kadang maish pingin beri self reward kalau ngerasa capek banget. kalau sepekan kerjaan bikin lelah banget. Diomelin majikan. Dimarahin... badan rasanya dipaksa untuk kuat.. kadang saaat seperti itu pinginnya makan yang enak tanpa harus lihat harga...

Tapi kembali lagi... aku harus sering2 mengingatkan diri sendiri... waktuku disini sisa 11bulan. aku harus belajar egois untuk kepentinganku sendiri.. aku harus tegas meminta suami agar bertanggungjawab untuk semua biaya pendiikan dan keperluan anak.. meskipun aku tetap selalu mengisi tabungan pribadi untuk anakku... aku harus bisa pokoknya... semoga ibuku sehat... Dan aku bisa fokus menabung. Aku ingin lekas pulang mendampingi tumbuh kembang anakku. Mengajari banyak hal tentang pendidikan karakter. Moral. Menambah hafalan. banyaaaaak banget yang harus aku ajarkan untuk bekal masa depannya...

11 bulan kedepan insyaAllah semoga Allah memberiku kemudahan agar aku bisa menabung lebih dari 100juta. InsyaAllah Allah memudahkan jalan rezekiku.. Allah memberi kebahagiaan untuk masa depanku. Allah melancarkan segala harapanku. Aku harus yakin Allah akan memperbaiki dunia dan akhiratku....

aku yang harus memulai memperbaiki hubunganku dengan Allah... yaa Allah... aku terlalu banyak lalai.... bimbing aku...
