First Crush - Happy Birthday Abby Rose
Abigail Rose is turning 4 today! Daycare agreed to let her bring snacks to celebrate with her class in the morning. "Mama! Don't forget my treats!"
Tumblr media
"I'm not going to forget. But you do need to come here and put on your shoes." Abby waddles over & you lift her onto the coffee table across you. Groaning, "You're getting so big! What are you? 11?"
Giggling, "No, Mama! I's 4!"
"4? My lord, just yesterday you were my little baby," tying up her shoes.
Reaching out to squeeze your face between her palms, "I's always your baby."
You turn your head to kiss her palm, "You're right. You're always my baby." You pull her over onto your lap and you give her a hug. "Happy Birthday, my baby."
"Tank you!"
There's a knock at the door, "Oh! Who could that be?"
Abby runs to the door yelling, "Who is it?"
"It's Bucky & Uncle Steve."
"Mama!" Jiggling the door, "Opens it, pwease!"
You open the door, "Hey guys, what are you doing here?"
"Hey, doll," dropping a kiss on you. "I heard it was someone's birthday." Abby starts jumping excitedly.
"Happy Birthday, Y/N!" Steve hugs you.
"No-no! It's mines bertday." Abby runs to Steve tapping his leg. "Uncle Steve? It's mines one."
"What? Are you sure? I thought it was Mama's."
"Uh-uh, it's mines!"
Steve grabs her and throws her up in the air, "I tricks you!" Catching her in a hug. "I knew it was your birthday!"
Abby throws her head back laughing, "You tricks me!" Hiding her face in her hands, "You did it."
"Happy Birthday, Abs!" Kissing her cheek, "I'd never forget my favorite niece's birthday."
Bucky takes her from Steve, "Happy Birthday, Abby Rose."
"Tank you!" She hides her face in Bucky's neck. "Uncle fooled-ed me so good."
Whispers in her ear, "Then we'll just have to come up with better tricks."
"C'mon, we need to get going." You point to the kitchen, "I've got fruits, cupcakes and cookies and a bag of plates and napkins." Bucky puts Abby down and him and Steve collect everything from the kitchen.
*******
Abby is all smiles and practically skips all the way to school. "Mama?"
"Yes?"
"I get my bertday at scoon."
"Yes, so you can celebrate with your friends."
"And tonights?"
"Tonight, the 4 of us will go to dinner remember? The place with the fancy chocolate dessert."
"Flambu!!"
"Uh, fondue. Close."
Abby laughs, "Oh yea, fondue."
You reach daycare and Abby runs off excited to see Chloe and Mia. "Hey Ms. Grace, good morning. Where should they put these?"
Grace's eyes immediately are drawn to Steve and a rosy blush covers here cheeks which doesn't go unnoticed by Bucky. "Oh, you can place them on the table in the back. I have it set up there."
Steve follows Grace to the back and Bucky hisses at you. "I told you! Steve and Ms Grace got something going on!"
You laugh, "Would that be so bad?"
"No. I'm just saying that I was right!"
"Ok, honey, you're right. You're a super sleuth."
******
Abby runs to the back of the class with Steve and Ms. Grace. "Happy Birthday, Abby!"
"Tank you so much! Uncle Steve did you ask her?"
"Ask me what?" Grace looks between Abby's chubby cheeked smile to Steve's slightly confused one.
"Uncle Steve wants yous to comes to my bertday dinner tonight. We going to have flambu!" Abby claps with excitement.
"Abs, fondue."
"Oh yeas, fondue. It's chocolate and you dip stuffs in it! Pwease come, Ms Grace." Abby jumps up and down.
Steve smiles at her, "C'mon, you can't disappoint the birthday girl. Or her Uncle."
Blushing, "Thank you Abby. I'd love to come."
Abby does a fist pump, "Yes! I'm gonna tell Mama!"
******
"Mama?"
"Yes baby?" Bucky leaves to drop his bundle off at the back table.
"Can Ms Grace comes to my bertday dinner? I already asks her."
"Abigail! You are supposed to ask me first. What if I were to tell you 'no'? What would you do. Now?"
"Um. Say pwease?" Abby hadn't thought that far and now looks worried. "I asks hers to make Uncle Steve happy."
"Uncle Steve, huh?"
Abby nods, "He wikes her and she wikes him."
Kneeling down to draw Abby near, "I guess we can help them out a little, huh?"
"Oh yes, Mama! We needs to." Abby hugs you, squishing your cheeks together. "They's so happy." Giving you a loud kiss on your cheek.
You look over to Steve and you see him and Bucky talking to a kid. "Abby? Who's Bucky talking to?"
"That's Justin wit the big forehead."
You hurry to the back of the room while Abby returns to Chloe and Mia.

Boy do I have good news for the poor vampire and werewolf, then.
Honey, if you can't have garlic bread, use chives! They are NOT garlic, but have a lot of the same taste, and some asiago cheese plus chives on bread tastes exactly the same as regular garlic bread, without the garlic! You can also add chives to pretty much anything that requires garlic. (For humans with a garlic allergy, I tell you this with caution: chives and garlic are in the same family of plants, so taste with caution. Vampires are not allergic to garlic in the same way that humans are, and chives are not a holy symbol, so vampire peeps, you should be good to go!)
As for the chocolate? Sweetheart, look up carob. It's been used as a chocolate substitute for YEARS and it is safe for dogs and non-canid people. It's a godsend for those of us allergic to chocolate! It's somewhat lighter-tasting than milk chocolate, but it's naturally sweet unlike cocoa, so it doesn't need much in the way of additional sugars to make it taste good. You can get it in bars, melt it for chocolate(carob) fondue, make it into brownies, cookies, add nuts and fruit to it and freeze it back in bars...the possibilities are just as endless as they are with chocolate.

prom night with eren fluff also greed or kimblee I need to know for something
Tumblr media
“Prom Night” Eren X Reader (SFW-Fluff) Contains: Language, gay couples This song is used later in the story! Can you tell that I like Grease? (F/C)=Favorite Color. (F/F)= Favorite Fruit. Outfits: Historia, Mikasa, Hange, Sasha, Ymir, Annie, Levi, Erwin, Eren, Connie, Jean + Marco, Armin, Reiner, Bertoldt
You had all just taken photos and hopped into the white limousine! You and Eren got into the limo last, joining Levi, Hange, Erwin, Sasha, Connie, Jean, Marco, Armin, and Mikasa! You all had talked about who was going with who, where you were going to eat after prom, and how long you were going to be there! Jean and Marco were going together, so was Sasha and Connie, and Armin and Mikasa were going as friends. Erwin, Hange, and Levi were all going as a group, and obviously, you and Eren were going together.
You look at Eren, admiring how he looked in his black tuxedo, white button up almost totally hidden from the black vest and matching black tie. Long, chocolate-colored hair, part of it tied up in a bun, the other part cascading down just past his neck. Sparkling, teal eyes look at you, examining you in your adorable, (F/C), (tuxedo/dress). You look at the boutonniere that was pinned to his jacket, then looking back up to meet his eyes. You two had started dating about a year ago, and sometime last month, he had asked you to go to prom with him! So, of course you said yes.
“Awe, Levi! Look at these two lovebirds!” Hange squeals excitedly, grabbing Levi’s wrist and waving to it with his hand, “Yeah, yeah, they’re cute. Now let go, dumbass.” They obey, letting go of Levi’s hand and bouncing happily in their seat, causing Levi to roll his eyes and Erwin to smirk, amused.
It doesn’t take much longer until you arrive, prom, unlike homecoming, was held at a banquet center! Eren steps out, grabbing your hand and guiding you out of the limo carefully. He then presses a kiss to your hand before walking inside with you. “So, what should we do first my angel?” You look around, dark blue lights illuminating the room, ribbon and balloons hung around the large room, tables seated near the sides, leaving room to dance, still with plenty of room for you all to find a table and snack! They had small fruits, cookies, and even some marshmallows to dip in the chocolate fountain.
It didn’t take long until everybody decided to sit down and start the night with some talking and some snacks. While Sasha was practically drooling into the fountain, Levi was shaking his head amusedly watching one couple try to grind on each other, a smirk on his face, holding in a chuckle. Historia was complimenting Marco on his makeup, her sleeveless, maroon dress swishing every time she moves, Ymir wraps her arms around Historia, resting her head on the smaller girl's shoulder. You look at Marco’s makeup, dark red eyeshadow fading into a light pink one, with small eyeliner wings, and some falsies glued on carefully, making his eyes pop. You look at the cheekbones that are sharpened with bronzer, blush and highlight resting on his cheeks delicately.
You look over at Eren and he looks back up/down at you, “What is it?”
“Eren,” you start, “what do you wanna do after high school? I mean, everybody else has something planned, except for us.” It was true, everybody had something planned! Mikasa and Ymir wanted to become activists, Ymir for LGBT+ rights, and Mikasa for gender equality. Marco wanted to become a cosmetologist, Levi and Erwin wanted to join the military, Hange wanted to become an entrepreneur, Armin wanted to become a marine biologist, Jean wanted to become a tattoo artist, and Sasha and Connie planned on going into culinary arts. Eren smiles softly, shrugging, “I’m not sure. Honey,” he takes your hands in his gloved ones, white cotton brushing over your knuckles gracefully, “we don’t have to worry about that. How are we supposed to have an idea of what we want to do when we don’t know what the future has for us?” You nod, resting your head on his shoulder, “You’re right! I guess you really can’t predict it.”
He strokes your hair carefully, “Exactly! Now, don’t worry about that, let’s enjoy prom.” He kisses your forehead, handing you some (F/F) and marshmallows, “Would you like to check out that chocolate fountain?”
“Yes!” Levi leans over, handing you and Eren a fondue fork, leaning back and grabbing a strawberry, taking a bite out of it and sitting back in his chair, the end of his black crop top coming up, revealing more of his stomach, Hange snickers as Levi groans, he knows what that sound means, “Shorty! Who are you trying to impress? Hehehe,” Hange continues to giggle as Levi shakes his head, “Nobody. I can wear whatever I want.” They continue to bicker at each other jokingly as you move to stand next to Sasha, placing a marshmallow on the fondue fork, placing part of it underneath the fountain and coating it with chocolate. Once that’s done, you wait for the chocolate to stop dripping off of it before taking it off of the fork carefully, taking a bite and making sure you don’t get anything on your clothes. Eren smiles as you beam happily, “I assume it’s good?” You nod, taking another bite of the marshmallow, snuggling into Eren’s side as he wraps an arm around you.
You all had stayed there for about an hour, people watching, talking about whatever came to mind, and snacking every now and then. The whole hour only felt like a few minutes! Then, you hear a song come on, it’s slow, gentle, heartfelt. You notice a hand reaching over to you, it’s Eren’s, “Care to dance?” You nod, his hand linking with yours as he walks out to the dance floor with you, one hand wrapping around your waist as the other staying in it’s spot, holding your hand, you two start to sway slowly, dancing to the beat of the music.
That’s when your eyes meet his, it’s like the world stops at that one moment, as if it’s just the both of you. Eren now knows what he wants for his future, he wants-no-needs you. That was what he was going to do with his future, provide you with only the best, to spoil you, to make you smile when you're sad, to bring you into the light when you’re lost in the dark. He loved you, and you loved him. An overwhelming sense of love and appreciation runs through his body, pulling you even closer, pressing his forehead and nose against yours, stray hairs from his head tickling your face and you lean up/down to press a kiss to his lips, pulling back a few moments later.
This was it. He had waited for so long to figure out what he wanted to do in his future, and he learned that his future was linked with yours. That night, two lost souls become one, and that bond would never break.

Cultural note!
(this is written from the point of view of an american. I apologize, but its what I know)
European pies can be sweet or savory, and the sweet ones are often less sweet than your typical american pie. The crusts are also different, like thinner and more pastry like.
The Europeans have adopted the cheesecake, the cookie and the brownie from us I am pleased to report. They keep their English names in French.
Le biscuit is like a British biscuit, which is essentially a fancy cookie. They are always dry and snap instead of bend. do not serve with gravy.
Le Pudding is not pudding (unless you’re british). It is a very moist cake thing.
Le tiramisu can be either what we think of as a tiramisu (le tiramisu italien), or strawberry flavored instead of chocolate.
In general le gateau is more.. idk.. artisianal feeling than your typical american cake? Like we’re over here sticking apricot nectar, soda, and reeses cups in ours and laying on the icing thick lol. From what I can tell french cakes, while by no means good for you, use less sugar, are more bread like and tend to not be iced. I’m speaking generally here, there are definitely rule breakers on both sides.
I’m sure i’m leaving something out, but this is all I can think of now!
