Sorry this is kinda short!! I just had thoughts and. here they are

Ninjago - Getting All Tucked In

Kai

BODYSLAMS YOU

I am so sorry but… that’s just how it is with him

He’ll wait until you’re all tucked in, then he’ll run at the bed and JUMP

Sometimes he aims to land on you, sometimes he aims for the place next to you

Just imagine that one markiplier gif (see below) but instead of going to punch you he has his arms open to wrap around you

^ him every night

Once you’re done scolding him for. that. Then he’ll cuddle up next to you as an apology

Unfortunately no amount of scolding will ever deter him from doing this literally every night

It’s rather jarring to go from “ah I’m ready for bed” to “IM BEING BODYSLAMMED” to “ah time for bed” again, but you both somehow don’t lose sleep over it

Cole

Likes to carry you to bed :]

The way I see it, you’ll both wait until you’re super sleepy before heading to bed

Then, wherever you are, he’ll insist on scooping you up to carry you

Even if you’re both just in the bathroom brushing your teeth and the bed is five steps away

He won’t hear any protests you give

It’s lowkey an excuse to hold you and cuddle when you settle down shhhh

If you start to fall asleep while he’s carrying you, he’ll be extra careful not to wake you

He also likes to switch up how he carries you, depending on his mood

Sometimes he’ll carry you bridal style, sometimes he’ll give you a piggy back, sometimes he just throws you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes (gently)

After a while you learn to just give in to it

Also always smiles while he carries you :)

Zane

He doesn’t just wait until you’re in bed; he waits until you’re at least half asleep

He’ll find something to do while he waits (usually chores)

Why does he do this? He doesn’t want to disturb you :(

But honestly it’s more disturbing how quiet he is when he finally tucks himself in

Like… does he think you’re going to murder him?? Why is he literally in full ninja mode

You actually get scared when he does this at least once

One moment you’re alone in bed and the next you sleepily open your eye and THERES SOMEONE NEXT TO YOU—oh it’s just Zane

You’ve tried to talk to him about it before, but he always insists on “not disrupting your routine”

He’s definitely anxious about getting in your way/disturbing you, but he also likes how peaceful you look as he silently slips in beside you

It’s relaxing for him to see you like that before he starts to recharge himself :]

Jay

Insists on being tucked in

He HAS to be the first in bed; he will literally run ahead of you to ensure this

If you ever get in before him, he’ll just sit on top of the covers and stare at you

If you play dumb (bc you know what he wants) he’ll clear his throat like “um I’m waiting”

Literally so needy 😭

He just loves the way you pull the covers over him and kiss his forehead

And when you slide in next to him? Bliss

It makes him feel safe knowing that you’re the one seeing him off to sleep

Not only does he get to see you before he drifts off (so he knows you’re there with him and you’re safe), but he trusts you more than anyone

He may be needy but he deserves someone like you who will do this for him :( my boy has trust issues

He likes to get in bed at the exact same time

You guys get ready for bed at the same time too 😌 I think you’d have a shared routine :3c

You’ll both go to one side of the bed and climb in, scooting closer together until you meet in the middle

I like to imagine that you both wrap one arm around each other and use your free arms to pull the covers up together

Some teamwork right before sleeping 💪

Mostly because he can only relax once he feels you relaxing too

Your slow breathing becomes his slow breathing, your heartbeat becomes his heartbeat

A soft smile comes to his lips as he drifts off, and internally he’s thanking you for being there with him :)

It definitely helps with nightmares to wake up to another body next to his; one that’s calm and grounding

She gets in bed WAY after you

She likes to stay up, what can I say

An early bird and a night owl 😔

Dw though, she always tells you goodnight when you go to bed

Then, several hours later, she’ll come in and slide into bed next to you

OR BEHIND YOU AND SHES THE BIG SPOON OUUGHHHHH

She’ll wrap her arms around you and pull you in to kiss your head

If you stir awake, she shushes you, already half-asleep herself

But she doesn’t really try not to disturb you; she’s way too sleepy for that

So you probably will actually stir awake at some point

But then you both fall asleep pretty quickly, just cozied up together <3

Lloyd POV:

I walked into the monastery and found the others in the living room watching tv.

“Where have you been?” Kai asked lazily and I shrugged.

“Hanging out with a friend,” I said and they all looked at me.

“You have other friends?” Jay asked and I frowned a bit offended.

“Yes, yes I do.” I said, it was true, I did have a few other friends from school outside of my family, but I don’t think they’d see Y/n as someone who falls under the term of ‘friend’.

“With who?” Cole asked, trying to make sure an argument wouldn’t start. I sighed and turned my back to them, putting my stuff on the table. “Y/n,” I mumbled.

“Who!?” Kai shot up, I’m pretty sure he heard me, but just was not really wanting to hear it. “Y/n,” I repeated louder this time and turned to him. “Something wrong?” I asked challengingly.

“Oh come on, Lloyd! She’s a thief, she’s a bad influence!” He said and the others just laughed. “You’re just mad that we got beat into a race by a group of teens,” Nya accused and Kai scowled at her.

“Oh please, I could beat them any day! They just caught me of guard!” He said and turned to me. “What did you do with her? Steal some lunch or something?” He asked sceptically.

I shook my head a bit annoyed. “No! We just hung out, and she was really nice and funny!” I told them. “And yes we grabbed lunch, and she payed, for all of it, leaving a tip and everything!”

“It is pretty weird behaviour to steal from a store, but being generous like that at the same time.” Zane said.

“Honestly, I think she just does it for the kicks.” I said and they all looked at me. “The kicks? She wants to get kicked?” Zane raised a brow.

“What? No- it’s like, they do it for the thrill, for fun. But like at places like Harvey’s who don’t suffer from much loss,” I explained.

“I thought she was just poor or something,” Jay said and I shook my head. “Believe me, she is not, I walked her home, and I’m telling you, she is rich rich.”

“Ohh, got yourself a rich date?” Nya winked. “You think she’s into girls?” She joked, making the others laugh and Jay let out an offended noice.

“I still don’t trust her,” Kai said and I groaned. “Kai! You’re the one that got me her number in the first place!”

“I didn’t know she was a thief!” He argued. I just sighed and remained silent, not wanting to get into an argument.

Your POV:

I hummed to myself, sitting on a building in the middle of the city, watching it slowly die down. I loved to watch Ninjago city at night, there was darkness but lights everywhere, mostly at Borg tower of course.

I looked at the time, almost two in the morning. I had school the next day, yeah, definitely sleeping trough maths.

I had an oversized hoody on -which I may or may not have stolen from James- and hid inside it. It was cold out. I had my earbuds in and my phone rested in my pockets.

Maybe I should go back, I did not feel like getting a cold or anything, if there’s something I hate, it’s a stuffed nose.

I looked up to watch the stars, instead, all I saw where clouds and a big raindrop landed on my forehead, followed by tons of others.

Definitely my sign to go.

I looked down from where I sat. I could jump this, easy. Pushing myself of the roof, I felt the wind travel trough my hair before I landed on my feet.

I tried walking fast as it started raining harder and harder.

To invested into getting home before everything was soaked -spoiler alert, it already was- I didn’t notice the puddle of water mixed with mud and stepped right in, slipping and falling backwards with a yelp.

I expected to hit the ground, but I didn’t. Someone had caught me and then steadied me to my feet.

“Look at that, seems like we meet again.” I turned around and found myself staring at the green ninja, flabbergasted and flustered by his quick appearance, I couldn’t help but blush.

“Where you following me?” I suddenly realised and he laughed. “I saw a potential thief, don’t blame me,” he joked and I gave him a look. “Kidding, I saw you and then you fell, you’re lucky I’m quick.” He winked and I rolled my eyes.

“My hero,” I said sarcastically. “What are you doing out here anyway? It’s night and it’s raining cats and dogs.” He asked sceptically and I shrugged.

“Didn’t check the weather before leaving home,” I admitted and he shook his head. “You need to try staying out of trouble, sweetheart,” he said and I swallowed thickly at the nickname.

I was about to answer but sneezed in stead. “Bless you,” he said before giving me a cocky look. “Well, I suppose you’re already blessed when you look like that,” he said and I was about to retort but shut my mouth, just unnabe to form words.

“Look, this is all fun and stuff, but I need to head home, I’m tired and probably going to catch a cold,” I said and he nodded before thinking for a moment.

“My bike isn’t far from here, want a ride?” He asked and I hesitated. “I don’t want to be a bother, you probably have stuff to do.” I said and he let out a low chuckle.

“No worries princess, not much to do tonight, except for saving pretty girls from falling over.” He winked and I sighed. “Fine, but straight to my house, no funny business, greenie,” I pointed at him and he smirked.

“Whatever you say, ma’am,” he said and I shook my head in disbelief.

My mouth fell open slightly at the sight of his bike. It was beautiful- sure, I’ve seen it on tv, or in the news paper a few times, but in real life it was way cooler.

“Here,” he handed me his helmet and I pulled my hands back. “What- but there’s only one helmet,” I protested. “Just take the helmet, I’ll be fine.” He assured.

“Are you sure, I mean I can-” He cut me off with an exasperated sigh. “Y/n!” He said sternly.

Seeing there was probably no point in arguing I just took it. He then got onto the vehicle and helped me climb on aswel.

“Where to?” He asked and I told him my street name. “Ohh, rich girl,” he said jokingly. “Better hold on tight,” he said and it took me a second to built up the confidence to wrap my arms around his waist.

He sped off, and honestly it was amazing. James had a bike, and I take passenger rides all the time, but this, this was different, it was incredibly fast and The Green Ninja managed to make his way trough the streets without any issues.

He went slower at my street and a few houses down I told him to stop. It had stopped raining when I got off and took of the helmet.

“Thank you,” I said with a smile and he took the helmet back from me. “Not a problem,” he winked once again. “You live here?” He looked behind me at the house with slight confusion, I didn’t really get why.

“Uh, no, a few houses down, but I snuck out, and your vehicle is rather loud, my mother will personally murder me,” I said and he laughed a bit.

“Oh, you’re a rebel aren’t you?” He teased and I just breathed out a laugh. “Aren’t you funny,” I said sarcastically.

He was about to say something but stopped, I heard vague talking of someone and realised he must be wearing an earpiece or something.

“Yes- alright, alright I get it, I’m going,” he said a bit irritated. “It’s not to much of a deal, not like there was much going on anyway.” He said.

He looked back at me and smiled. “That’s my sign to go. You should head inside and take a shower,” he said and I nodded.

“See you, princess,” he said before speeding off again.

I proceeded to sneak into our backyard, this way I could get into the kitchen and sneak upstairs.

I peeked trough the window. It was dark, no one was inside. I snuck trough the window I left open for myself and then upstairs where I took of my clothes and hung them to dry.

After taking a quick shower and laid in bed. The next day was going to be hell.

I was completely and utterly right, I got detention for sleeping in maths class, which got my friends laughing it me during lunch, I bought a coffee in the school cafeteria and I forgot that I was holding it so it went cold, and look at that, Miss Malcam was sick so we had a substitute… no one likes that substitute, she’s horrible and always has it out for me specifically.

Oh, not to forget, I was sneezing, causing and wheezing, the whole enchilada. My nose was stuffed and I felt like I couldn’t breath, I basically looked like shit.

And of course, it can always become even worse.

As I was looking for my next class -I forgot, alright, don’t blame me, blame the constantly changing schedule- I bumped into someone and fell.

I was caught, though my phone wasn’t as lucky. “Oh, I am so sorry!” I said and then bend to pick up my phone, then looking at the person in front of me.

“Falling for me, are we?” I locked eyes with Lloyd and I swear to god, I wanted the earth to swallow me whole.

I. Looked. Terrible.

“Lloyd!” I said surprised and embarrassed. “I uh, I thought you said you graduated last year.” I stuttered nervously.

“I did yes, but Kai teaches the self defence class here and he can’t make it so sent me instead,” he explained and I just nodded absently.

“I see,” I sniffed, making it feel like my eyes are going to pop out of my scull.

“Are you alright? You look sick,” I said concerned and I shrugged. “I’m fine, I was out in the rain yesterday, just a cold.” I waved it of and inspected my phone for damage, but it was fine.

I glanced at the time and scowled. “I’m sorry, Lloyd, but I really need to get to my class,” I said and he smiled slightly.

“It’s fine, I’ll catch you later?” He gave me a crooked grin that made my knees weak. “Yes, I’ll see you!” I waved before quickly walking off.

I want to die of embarrassment.

I sat next to Amelia in Science and she grinned at me. “You still look like shit,” she said and I glared at her. “Your face did gain some colour though, something happen?” She wiggled her eyebrows and I sighed.

I told her the story and all she could do was laugh at me. “Honestly N/n, you’re the most badass, fearless person I know, and there you are, nervous because of some boy,” she said and I hit her shoulder, making her laugh even harder.

When the lesson was over, we met with Luna and made our way to our very last class of the day.

“Where’s Flora?” Amelia asked Luna who had been in the same lesson as her. “She’s gone to some of her other ‘friends’. Said she’d meet us there.” Luna said and I sighed.

“Give it a break, Lu, I know you don’t like them, but we tolerate them for Flors, alright?” I gave her a look and she sighed.

“Yeah, I know, but I can’t handle Flora not being able to see how fake they are with her,” Luna sighed as we turned a corner.

“We have a while, want to head into the restroom and freshen up a bit?” Amelia changed the topic, looking at me especially. “Obviously,” I said and they laughed.

In the bathroom I took my hair out of the way to messy bun it was in, which took a while as the damned elastic got stuck in the hair I did not brush that morning.

I barely had time to get ready that morning, I just put on my clothes and threw my make up and jewellery in my bag to put on at school… I never did.

Millie brushed my hair for me while I put on some mascara and eyeliner, not being much of a ‘full face make up’ person.

Not only because I didn’t have the time, but also because I did not know how to do it -I swear those girls on TikTok are literal magic- and I didn’t take the time to learn.

“See, that’s better… still quite sick though,” Luna commented. It was true, I had puffy eyes and sniffed every now and then. My voice was a bit hoarse and I looked exhausted, but it was way better then before.

“Alright, what do we have?” We looked at Amelia who always was the one that knew where we had to go.

“We have self defence class,” she said and Luna and I shared a look. “Self defence class?” I asked sceptically.

“Yeah, school decided that with the crime going on, not only first years needed self defence class but all the others do too.” She sighed a bit annoyed.

“Meh, it’s fine, not like self defence is that hard.” I waved it off as we excited the bathroom.

“Well, we aren’t all being trained since we where little- which reminds me, can’t you just illusion yourself some make-up?” Amelia interrupted herself.

“I could, yes, but I’m not risking it faltering in front of other people, I’d be the talk of the school and I’d rather not,” I said with a small chuckle.

As we entered the small gym in the school, we searched for Flora.

When I saw her, my fists balled and I quickly stormed over, followed by the other two.

“Hey!” I called out and the boy with his arm around a rather uncomfortable Flora’s waist looked up. “Leave her alone,” I said with venom in my voice.

He smirked at me. “What? Jealous?” He asked and winked, making me narrow my eyes. “Be for real, she is clearly uncomfortable and has a boyfriend, leave her alone or I will knock your teeth out.” I threatened with a harsh glare.

He took his arm off her and took a few paces towards me. “What is your problem?” He hissed and I rolled my eyes.

“My problem is you being a fucking asshole, leave her alone and I might just let you off with a warning.” I said and he huffed a laugh.

“What are you going to do? Throw your nail clippers at me?” He asked and a few others laughed as we now had some on lookers.

“N/n, it’s fine, really” Flora started but I cut her off. “No, don’t even start that, love, I’ll handle this arse for you,” I said and turned back to the guy.

“If you are so cool and strong like you want people to think, then I’ll see you outside after school if you are man enough to fight me,” I challenged and I heard Luna sigh behind me.

“Aand, there she goes, oh we’re going to have to explain to Jamie,” she sighed and I gave her a quick glare.

“You fight me? You’re a girl, I’ll have you down in seconds, if you challenge me I am not afraid to hit you, what will you do when I have you begging for forgiveness on the ground?” he said and I narrowed my eyes.

“If you are going to act like that, I can arrange to pull your bones from your body now instead of later, in fact-” but I was interrupted by someone standing between us.

“Hey, Hey, let’s not do that in this class,” I looked at Lloyd who had intervened. I completely forgot he said he was teaching self defence for Kai.

“This lesson is about to start, why don’t you both sit down?” He suggested and with last glared at each other, we turned away.

“Y/n! Seriously?” Luna asked in disbelief. “What? I can handle him,” I waved her off and she groaned.

“Yes, I know, I’m not concerned about that, I am concerned about the fact that James is going to be so mad, plus, you’re parents are going to ground you for like- forever, again!” She said and I waved her off.

“It’s fine, as long as Flora is alright,” I looked at the girl who nodded. “I am, but you really didn’t have to do that.” She said and I shook my head.

“Nonsense, you’re one of us now, and in our group we protect each other.” I said and she gave me a teary smile.

That whole lesson, I normally would have glared holes into that guys -who I know is Jacob Brown- head, but instead, I was watching Lloyd catch us up on basic self defence, demonstrating a few things and explaining like a professional.

I heard giggling and looked behind me to see Amelia and Flora make hearts with their fingers making me scoff and stick out my tongue.

The first episode of Season 3 came out on YouTube, so it's time for my annoying notes again!

I hope the new episodes come out quickly for the English version. I'm very intrigued to see what happens.

Reminder: These are my initial reactions. I may be stupid or forgetful, especially since it's been a while since I've watched the first two seasons. If something I say is wrong or if it's clear I missed something, lemme know!

The Missing

I know Labo is just for the kids, to have like... a funny character to watch, but I do find him annoying here. Mostly because he makes the obvious reactions that are supposed to be made, and they try to make it seem more funny.

Whoa, Fugidove front and center on the screen?

I don't really know why Sora was so confident her baking was good. As far as I'm aware, she didn't really help with the baking, or at least didn't help make the filling. Did she just think, "Oh, that's easy! I can do that!" without checking if she actually could? Either way, she should've at least tasted the first pie she made and went from there instead of assuming it was good.

Ah, imagining your boyfriend but being rudely interrupted by your brother making an annoying noise. Peak sibling duo here.

I kind of wish that they would just skip the recap. This will be super annoying on rewatch because I tend to binge, and getting to the recap episode (being this first episode of the season) is gonna be a slog to get through again. Yeah, they're adding some new things here, but do I really need to be reminded that Arin's gone or the Jay's without his memories? That was a whole thing at the end of season 2 and the middle of season 1 respectively.

I do like that Cole got to spend a bit with Lloyd to comfort him. It's nice to see. Also, first mention of Geo and the Finders! I can't wait for them to be mentioned throughout the whole season.

Ooh, we get to see more Frak!

Did Mr. Frohicky's VA change?

The way Frak turns with the weight of his head is very interesting. I don't remember any of the Hypnobrai or species with longer necks doing that in previous seasons.

Aw, c'mon, Sora. Frak is really fun! I hope they become besties, too.

Great, more awkward cuts between different plotlines of the story. My favorite... (Personal taste seriously ruins watching experience.)

Of course Sora's pie tastes like rubber, being a sort of mechanic.

OH COME ON, Zane's first appearance of the season, and he just HAS to mention he's a nindroid. Zane knows what tastes good, so it doesn't matter if he has taste buds; he would know Sora's pies taste like ass. Also, he better express some sort of emotion, especially whenever Pixal comes back. That's his life partner!

Aw, Zane immediately thinking of Pixal and talking about how smart and attractive she is...

... Frak, is there something you'd like to tell Sora? Are they gonna be more than besties? Honestly? I can see it. But does every ninja have to be paired with another character? I kinda thought Sora would be single. Maybe Arin will be the single one?

Sora is so real for that. Like, an exploding pie is helping Zane figure out what happened to Arin. That makes no sense. But it is funny and adds to the dry humor with Sora's exasperation.

"-If you call that baking-" "Please stop talking." Sora being embarrassed and annoyed is probably the funniest thing so far. I love stuff like that.

How the hell were those two able to run after having their life practically sucked out of them?

Aight, I enjoyed seeing everybody, but Zane is kind of disappointing already and it's only the first episode. I was hoping they would stop treating him like that, but I guess the writers got too exhausted giving all the personality to Kai, Nya, Wyldfyre, Sora, and Frak. Lloyd was kind of sidelined, which I find a little weird, but I'm sure he'll get a lot more focus these coming episodes, especially whenever Arin shows up on screen again. I didn't see Jay, so I'm assuming he's more of a solo act than with any of the evil groups. Maybe he'll be added to Forbidden Five after one of the five gets shoved out, or he just joins and makes it the Forbidden Six. Otherwise, he kind of just looks like a fanboy, which would kind of be funny and show that Jay is really still somewhere in there. I am also disappointed that we barely got any Cole and nothing more than a mention of Geo and the Finders, but I kinda feel like they aren't gonna have much to do this season.

The Fab 5 are going to be going after the blades. Which is going to lead into a couple of confrontations between them, Ras and Arin, and the Cuties.

I'm thinking Ras and Arin's blade will be the last 1 they try to get. Mostly bc Ras is still going to need some time to recover, and the writers will want him a little stronger for that fight.

Nya, Kai, and Wyldfyre are getting close to finding Jay. I'm legit thinking they'll find him in the next episode.

And honestly, I'm surprised that the arcade thing was kinda right. I was jokingly expecting him to be playing a game in the arcade and then they'd just bump into him. Bc, y'know, it's Jay and he likes his video games.

I'm hoping we get Zane and Cole here soon. I'm missing those beans.

I am thinking that Zane's going to stumble across Pixal. Mostly bc I miss Pixal. And she's going to have a bit more info about Master Wu, although her memory's going to be a bit scrambled and she's going to need some time to sort it all out.

Cole is with the Finders, so he's probably just chilling and being a dad.

Sorry about all the big breaks at the end there. I had to start prepping some stuff for later, and it's mostly done now.

Zane has been getting shafted since Season 4 yeah I said it

All these posts about Zane have got my brain a-stirrin', and while it's a bit hard for me to tell how flanderized he is, I realized that Zane has definitely been getting the short end of the stick story-wise.

He was great in Seasons 1-3, peak even, but after that I feel like they ran out of ideas for him and now he's mostly just "funny robot go brrr". For example, every other ninja has had some (as I'm calling it) "cool moment" in the later seasons:

Kai became leader of the Geckles, became Flamebringer, and destroyed an entire Ice Dragon (in a region where it was literally too cold to start fires)

Jay had his whole action scene and talk with Unigami and moment with Nya at the end of Season 14

Nya and Cole had their respective seasons they honestly ate fr

and Lloyd had the Oni Trilogy, and after S10, had his subplot with Akita (if that qualifies enough for a cool moment)

the closest things Zane has had to a "cool moment" is when he defeats Aspheera (which didn't last long enough to count imo), when he was the Ice Emperor (oh cool is he gonna self reflect on this or have some internal dilemma NO), or that Crystalized scene, which is honestly mostly a Pixal moment if anything.

He's kinda just there tbh, and hasn't really been given any story arcs or major focus for a long time (not counting the Grief episode, tho I barely remember that so I won't comment on it).

I could go on an even longer ramble, but tldr, after Zane blew up in Season 3, I think they ran out of big things for him to do (both action and emotional-wise)

A never ending hardworker, Skylor is a dedicated person, even with all that has happened in her life she moves on, "don't let the chains of the past hold you back" is her biggest quote. She still worked at Chen's Noodle House keeping the legacy even after everything, Kai helped even if not has much as she would have liked, but I guess thats a them problem. She is now residing in the cursed realm, the realm of the evil and dead, unfortunately for her the good deeds she practiced were in vain, and even worst for her, her father and clouse were also in the cursed realm, shall she have the pacience to deal with both of them, especially after it got to them that she married one of the ninja, Kai, the worst one in their eyes. Kai visits her in the cursed realm, mostly to hangout and sometimes is able to drag her out of that realm and spend sometimes in the living world.

Morro Wu

The people call him "the ashamed" as all that proceeds him as been the shame in his previous actions, a anti-hero. He stills remembers the day he was given a third and/or even fourth chance at redemption, he was in the cursed realm, sulking and poving his power the both new and old ghosts, when Lloyd appered in front of him, he had his arm extanded to him waiting for Morro to take it, Morro was mad but he had to let go at some point, right? So he did, and after a danger in Ninjago that even the Ninja had been spread a little too tin to deal with, Morro joined the battle, but due to him being a little rusty Lloyd gave him a bit of his power, with that the battle was won; to Morro's suprise Lloyd never toke the power back and instead insisted that Morro joined the Ninja becoming the 7th ninja. The rest of the team wasn't too pleased with this, but even soo, who are they to question Lloyd's decision…

Age- 2000+ (ghost) Died in his 1000's Height (Before death) : 7'3 (2,21m) Height (After death) : 6'4 (1,93m) Status: Misako's husband and Lloyd's father

A tarnished name for sure, all that he has are distante memories of his horrible actions; being separated in two halfs after being revived is sure to bring conflict; one remained in the cursed realm, mostly wandering around, missing his family to no end, and the other was destroying anything that could be considered family. When the half in the living realm died, in came the extended influx of memories that didn't belong to him but at the same time did, he didn't know what to make of it the harm and despair he caused after long having accepted what he had done before- it was too much. But in the depths of that new memory… he could only smile; after everything died down and the living Garmadon stayed alongside Lloyd- the father and son moments he had only dreamed of ever being true had become reality, the laughter and genuine love he felt coming from and with his son, made him the happiest man in the cursed realm; after all he was givin a couple 100 years by his families side until he finally passed away, he made sure every moment counted. Even his marrige had healed to some degree. Now, in the present, Garmadon makes sure to have frequent visits to Lloyd, even if Morro is his only way there, the routine is quite fine for the both of them, Garmadon gets to visit his son and Morro always prefered the quiet atmosphere of the island, where the monestary is currently on. And truth be told, Garmadon, for sure, has given both Morro and Harumi a good death stare for the things they have done to his son, reasonably so.

Harumi, often refered as the "wicked princess", in the living she owns a place in the new and improved "hall of villains", while in the dead she continuasly has an aura around her, even if she emitted regret in her past life, now she was surrounded by people who only sang praises about what she accomplished; after all now the people around her were as morally deranged as she was, if not even more. Unfortunatly for her, or fortunatly for the speck of regret she still holds, Morro had long been made aware of what she has done and due to him having to show that he has some moral grounds to be able to continue have the amount of power he was given, he keeps tabs on her and reminds her that she is supposed to be upset at all the praise. And to the new Garmadon she encountered in the cursed realms? A lot of mixed feelings for sure, either way, Morro just makes sure Harumi doesn't get to close.

==✿ADDITIONAL INFORMATION✿==

Skylor and Kai often just walk around Ninjago and think about the past, very old people style; The others tend to comment on their behavior but their stupidity just gets ignored not a whole lot can bring this woman's confidence down.

Kai was very self-conscious about his old lookin' self, Skylor would just make this man's ego go through the roof at times.

Morro, Garmadon have been living in the same home for a while, Harumi just kinda made herself at home, already knowing Morro from a previous prison visit from Lloyd, and just didn't bother giving a reason to why she was there, and Morro just ended up so feed up with kicking her out everytime that he just gave up.

Lloyd has Garmadon's, Misako's and Wu's graves at the end of the backward, beautifully siting under a weeping, tree very well taken care of. Garmadon often wonders if his body is really there or if it's just a memorial (he doesn't really want to check or ask Lloyd about it).

Many attempts at Morro's life have been made, mostly coming from Nya and Kai (water doesn't kill him persay but it sure hurts a whole lot), Jay just annoys him at any moment given, Cole and Zane give him side glances and try not to be hostile, and Lloyd well, his relationship with him has for sure gotten better, time can often heal wounds left by past actions; they often help eachother without much complain, and if there is, it mostly comes from Morro pretending to be upset.

Morro often pretends to despise Lloyd but he does actually care for him; Lloyd is very aware of Morro's true feelings thanks to the power connecting them both, so he just disregards the behavior.

Morro uses Lloyd as a human shield /aff, most of the times he's just possession Lloyd and hanging around but not willing to interact.

Harumi had a redepction arc inside prison and Lloyd would visit occasionally, sometimes he would have Morro with him, that's how they knew eachother, first time they met tho, let's just say, they weren't all too friendly with eachother.

Yes, Harumi died inside the prison, how? Idk, someone didn't like her I guess.

I should mention that most of Ninjago citizens are completly aware of the Ninja's past, mostly due to Cloud Kingdom just releasing many books each with one of the ninja's story, and after years those books were re-written many times and it may have become a game of broken telephone.

That is also why, the people of Ninjago are to the full extent aware of the Harumi's actions, and let's just say Lloyd's die hard fans aren't too happy.

Whumptober Day 19: Floral Bouquet

Day 19! This one is a continuation from Day 18, and honestly it's kinda more fluffy than whumpy because it's hard to do whump with a 'floral bouquet' without straight up shoving someone into a rosebush SO! Finn got creative, as I tend to do. Still had fun with this one though!

“I feel awful,” Nya said, sitting at the lunch table with her food in front of her, uneaten and going cold. The others were shooting her concerned looks over their own food, not paying attention to the empty spot next to Cole where Jay would’ve sat. Jay’s mom had picked him up only a little bit after Nya called her, and she walked him down to the curb and watched them drive off with a pit in her stomach.

Cole looked up from where he was eating his sandwich. “It wasn’t your fault. How were you supposed to know that the kid was carrying a bat? What were you supposed to do?”

“I knew that he was anxious,” Nya said, “and I shouldn’t have walked off with just him. Maybe there was something I could’ve said, or—”

“If it is any consolation,” Zane spoke up, putting down his fork, “I agree with Cole. There was nothing you could do. You were taken by surprise, and could not have known how the other party would react. Jay didn’t even realize you were being followed until you were too far away to come back and get us.”

None of that made Nya feel any better. Kai bumped shoulders with her on her other side, looking worried. “Hey, it’ll be okay. He’s fine, I’m sure he is.”

“He was bleeding!” Nya exclaimed.

Lloyd linked arms with her, finding her hand and squeezing. “It’s not the first time Jay’s been hurt, Nya. I’m sure he’s okay; he’s probably just resting at home, which is better for his anxiety anyway.”

“Anxiety that he wouldn’t have had if we had just said something to him,” Nya sighed. “We should’ve texted him as soon as we noticed that he wasn’t here. Maybe then he wouldn’t have been so nervous.”

“I hate to tell you, sis,” Kai said, “but I don’t think there’s much we can do for his anxiety. He’s always anxious, and there’s only so much we can do to accommodate it.”

For some reason, the comment rubbed her the wrong way, and Nya was surprised at the rush of protectiveness that shot through her. She knew that she needed to get out before she did something she regretted; Kai may not have been wrong, but it wasn’t fair to Jay either. “I need some air.”

They watched her go, and part of Nya felt saddened by the fact that no one tried to pull her back. Jay had talked to her before about how much it stung to be left to your own devices; your friends not giving you any sort of feedback to work with, leaving you to make your own decisions with biting indifference that only made him more nervous. She tried to give him as much feedback as she could, because she couldn’t imagine how hard it was to thrive in that kind of sensory-deprived environment.

If this was even a taste of how Jay felt whenever he was having a bad day, then she was going to try so much harder.

Luckily the outside of the school was pretty barren, as everyone was inside and eating their lunch or heading out to class, so Nya was enjoying her nice little stroll through the school gardens. It was an area that she hadn’t ever really explored before, mostly because they didn’t go outside (preferring to be close to their lockers in case Garmadon decided to attack), but maybe she should make an effort to come out here. Jay would’ve liked it, maybe he would walk with her sometime.

Jay definitely would.

The flowers were beautiful, just starting to bloom and show their true colors. Nya had never been a flower person, but Jay was, and she listened to more than one of his rants about different types of flowers and their meanings as he would show pictures of each individual one and explain what his favorite thing about them was. He looked so excited whenever he would start talking about them, and even now Nya could recognize a few of them: roses, of course, but also daisies and carnations and orchids and even some lilies across the way.

“I didn’t think you would be out here,” said a voice behind her, and she wheeled around with her fist ready to throw a punch. Cole caught her hand easily, raising his eyebrow at her tensed position.

She had already been jumped once today, he should’ve known better than to sneak up on her. “What are you doing here?”

“Finding you,” Cole said, almost in a bored tone, but Nya knew him well enough to detect the hint of worry in his voice. “The others were worried.”

“If you were so worried, then why didn’t you stop me?” Nya asked, putting her hand down and continuing to walk down the path. Cole followed behind her, keeping up easily with his hands in his pockets and his signature headphones being pulled down from around his ears.

“Because you needed the space, and I can respect that,” Cole said. “I wasn’t expecting you to come out to the garden though.”

“I was thinking about Jay,” Nya said, and she was surprised at how easily his name rolled off of her tongue. “He would love all the flowers.”

“He does love them,” Cole said, bending down to pick up a fallen rose petal from under one of the many bushes. “He likes to come out here and sketch them when he’s nervous.”

Nya never knew that, even after all of this time. “Really? Why didn’t he ever say anything?”

Cole sighed, letting the petal fall to the ground. “Jay is…complicated. He needs his space, but he needs people in his space or else he gets sad. But there has to be at least one space that he gets all to himself, because that’s his decompression spot.”

“And the garden is the decompression spot?”

“Yup,” Cole said, stopping at one of the benches. Nya wanted to keep walking, but she sat down next to him instead. “He’s a lot, but he’s worth it.”

They were quiet for a few minutes, and Nya was well-aware that they had missed the start of the next period, but Cole didn’t seem very bothered about it. She picked one of the daisies sprouting on the left side of the bench, twirling the stem around in her hand. “You’re really special to him, you know.”

And it was true. Cole and Jay were a pair that could never be separated; you never had one without the other. Nya thought at first that they had been blood brothers as she watched the way they acted with each other, and how protective they were. Looking at them, you wouldn’t think that Jay could be protective over Cole, but it was true. That was how Kai and Nya had first met them, trying to stop Jay from punching someone’s lights out because the person smashed Cole’s old headphones. Jay had come in the next day holding Cole’s repaired headphones, having stayed up all night to fix them, and that’s when Nya knew that the two’s relationship was something else. Special, just like Jay.

“You are, too,” Cole chuckled, tossing his leg up. “He likes you a lot, it’s honestly kinda cute.”

“Oh please,” Nya said, blushing. “I’m sure he falls for any pretty girl that looks his way.”

“He doesn’t,” Cole said, turning to face her with a serious expression. “Jay isn’t like that. If he’s wanting to spend more time with you and putting in the effort to get to know you, he’s sticking with you. Probably wants to get married.”

“Married?!”

Nya was a bit disgruntled when Cole laughed, messing up her hair and grinning at her pouting face when she tried to fix it. “Married. He’s a dreamer.”

“We haven’t even started dating!”

Cole raised an eyebrow. “Would you want to start dating?”

She…she wasn’t sure, actually. Nya had never considered it before, never really thought about Jay like that. But now that she was, she felt all of the butterflies start to come alive: she loved seeing him smile and hearing him talk, and spending time with him never felt like it was a bore or like she was wasting it. Hearing his compliments or even one of his dorky attempts at (poorly disguised) flirting made her heart squeeze with affection. The flirting was bad, but she appreciated the effort nonetheless. Not like she had ever really tried to flirt, so maybe it was harder than she thought.

“Oh shit,” Nya groaned, burying her face in her hands. “Have I been leading him on?”

“It’s only leading him on if you don’t actually have any intentions of dating,” Cole said, but Nya still felt the guilt start to bubble up to the surface. She couldn’t stop thinking about all of the signals that she missed, all the signs that she walked past without a second thought; Jay must’ve been so upset. How could she say that she was doing everything to try and make him happy and then do something like that?

Noticing her growing distress, Cole reached out to rub her arm, a gentle smile on his face. “Hey, it’s okay. You’re starting to get the same look that Jay does when he’s overthinking.”

“You must be so angry with me,” Nya said, leaning back against the bench. “I can’t imagine how much I must’ve hurt him by now.”

“I’m not angry,” Cole assured, and Nya tried to take comfort in his words. “Here, we’ll talk about something else. What happened before you guys got jumped?”

She had already given a very watered-down version of what happened to the others before now, but she supposed that she could give Cole a few more details. “I was telling him about math class, and he was offering to help tutor me which was great because I could really use the help, and he said he would do it as long as we would go out for milkshakes afterwards. He didn’t tell me the place but that’s not super important—”

“So he’s already asked you on a date.”

Nya’s brain short-circuited.

Oh First Master.

First Master she was so stupid.

“And by your reaction, I’m guessing you didn’t say yes.”

“I didn’t know!” But she should’ve known, should’ve thought about it a little more.

Sighing, Cole went to pinch the bridge of his nose. “I swear, between you and Kai and Jay I’m going to drown in your obliviousness. Come on, I’m going to help you fix it.”

Jay was miserable.

Sitting at home was boring, but there was nowhere else to go. The trip to urgent care had only taken around twenty minutes, where the doctor reassured his mom that he didn’t have a concussion and that he would just have to rest over the weekend so he would be good as new on Monday. But that also meant that his mom had confiscated all of his electronics and banished him from working on any of his and Pa’s projects, already knowing exactly how Jay would’ve kept himself busy.

Even though she technically wasn’t home so she would never know if he did some work or played video games for a bit, Jay didn’t have the heart to disobey his mom.

He had tried texting Cole to see if his best friend would have anything to keep him occupied, maybe even just have a conversation, but he only received short one word texts until Jay gave up on trying to text anymore. The idea of texting Nya floated around in his head but he quickly dismissed it; he had already made enough of a fool of himself today.

Now he was standing over his stove and a ruined batch of scrambled eggs that he had left cooking for too long; Jay didn’t even like scrambled eggs! That’s just how bored he was!

But now he had ruined a couple of perfectly good eggs when money was already low this month, and he was alone so there wasn’t anyone to reassure him that it was fine, and he already knew that Cole wouldn’t text back if Jay tried to say anything about it but he couldn’t text Nya or the others because if they didn’t want to see him this morning than why would they want to hear from him now—

“Dammit,” Jay whispered, hand going to his chest as he fought to get his breathing back under control. This wasn’t supposed to happen.

Phone at his ear and ready to call his Pa, Jay jumped when there was a knock on the front door of their small house, and he waited like a deer in headlights for the person to go away.

He needed the person to go away.

“Jay! It’s me!”

Shit, it was Nya. He couldn’t just leave Nya out there, especially when she knew that he was home. Why couldn’t the urgent care visit have taken longer?!

Nya was probably so upset with him. She had finally figured out that he had fumbled his attempt at asking her out on a date, that he was stupid and that it was a stupid idea and that he was the worst person in the history of people to probably ever ask her on a date—

“Oh, hey Nya,” he greeted, as if the sound of her name didn’t make his head spin, “what are you doing here?”

It was the first time he had ever seen Nya Smith look nervous, shuffling her feet and hiding something behind her back. She was biting her lip, looking him up and down as if she was trying to see if something was there. Was she checking for injuries?

“I’m okay,” he said, taking the shot in the dark. Nya relaxed, and Jay silently patted himself on the back for guessing correctly.

Suddenly, something was thrust into his hands, and Jay looked down to see a messy bouquet of pink roses and various carnations, and his face grew hot when his brain finally kicked into gear and he remembered the meanings of the flowers. She remembered that he liked them.

Jay was silent as Nya started talking. “I-I know this is a little sudden, but Cole helped me get those together for you. I know they’re not perfect and they’re really basic and I probably got some of the colors wrong—”

“Nya,” he said, stopping her ramble. Was she always this cute when she rambled? “They’re perfect.”

“Perfect?”

“Anything you would give me is perfect.”

“Then in that case,” Nya gave him a shy smile that had his heart dripping with affection, “Jay Walker, would you go out with me?”

Trying to nail down Echo's characteristics in my writing so I keep him consistent.

Echo Character Traits

● Likes to be around others and is excited to meet new friends

● But after being alone for so long, he sometimes is quickly burnt out socially.  He also values his alone time

● Tries too hard sometimes to be likable.  He doesn't want his new friends to leave him

● Curious but definitely very cautious

● Is often confused.  But who can blame him honestly?  Ninjago City is a wacky place.  Much different from the lighthouse.

● Likes to read books and share facts with his friends

● Doesn't understand a lot of common phrases.  Not necessarily because he's an android, but because he was removed from society most of his life.

● Likes Pistachio ice cream. (Because I said so!) 

● He WILL tell you random bug facts.  There is no stopping him.

● Dislikes violence, but you mess with any of his friends, you better square up!

● He did a lot of cleaning in the lighthouse, so it kind of bugs him when people (Cole, Jay, and Kai) leave stuff lying around the monastery.

● He's not very confrontational, but if you do tick him off, expect to find a very loquaciously written note on your pillow when you go to bed.  He finds he can articulate what he's feeling better in writing than in speaking sometimes.

● He's pretty content, though, so he doesn't get mad too often.

● He kept a journal in the lighthouse to pass the time.  Mostly, it's just entries about the weather, what kind of birds he saw that day, and speculating about when the seagull eggs in the rafters were going to hatch.

● He is 2 years younger than Zane.

● He sometimes grapples with his feelings of being a replacement for Zane, and Zane, on the opposite side, grapples with the thought of being replaceable.

● In the beginning, they both hesitate to share their feelings with each other, but eventually open up and have a few good teary eyed, brother therapy sessions.

Most of this won't be super relevant in the actual story, but I thought it was important to get his characterization figured out.

But this is just how I see him. I would love to hear your thoughts!

Ninjas x reader?

So basically readers dad/mom/wtv is a ex military Sargent who's very overprotective and intimidating. And the ninjas are meeting them for the first time how would they react?

Ooh, I actually like that idea,,, "ex-military parent" is a trope that needs to be used more often tbh

Ninjago - Ninjas When Your Parent is Ex-Military

Cole

He'd be super nervous, but he'd totally ace the first impression

And literally every impression after that

I feel like Cole is just the kind of guy your parents would always love, whether they're strict or laid back, grumpy or cheery—they are going to love him

Maybe it's because he always shows respect

And it's no exception with your parent; if anything, he's extra respectful

Definitely calls them "sir" or "ma'am"

(Honestly he probably does this anyway at first, but he'll do it more consistently with your parent)

Whenever they get all protective over you, he somehow manages to quell their worries without stepping on their toes

Like, if your parent says:

"You know, when we're in public Y/n never leaves my sight."

He'll smile and say:

"That's what I try to do, too. I like to know they're safe."

This technique never fails to satisfy and impress your parent

He seems pretty calm and pleasant when around your parent, and while this is forced at first, it becomes more natural over time

Mostly because your parent starts to relax around him too, easing up on the intimidating glares and snide comments intended as "tests"

Soon enough your parent is actually asking you when you're bringing him home next!

"When are you bringing that Cole boy around again? He's a good kid."

Jay

He is absolutely TERRIFIED to meet your parent when he finds out they're ex-military

He keeps putting off the meeting; little does he know this is making your parent suspicious of him already

You literally have to beg him to meet them, if not for your sake, then for his own

Because you know that the longer he keeps making excuses, the more your parent is going to be biased against him

So when he finally agrees, it's a big relief for you

Not so much for him; he spends every second leading up to the meeting stressing out

What's he gonna wear? What's he gonna say? How should he stand? What if he gets fidgety?

Then it happens: he meets your parent

And he fumbles so hard D:

His bumbling nervousness (which is NOT helped by your parent's intentionally intimidating demeanor) makes him come off as a wuss, which your parent doesn't like

They think Jay can't protect you, which is, like, their #1 requirement for any partner you have

So they totally disapprove of him

That is, until they see him on the news

He somehow failed to mention on your first meeting that he was a ninja; a ninja with powers, no less

So your parent sees him on the news one night, and immediately calls you over

"Is that your boyfriend on the news? Oh my! Did you just see that?? Good gravy!"

"Does this mean you don't hate him now?"

"Hate him? How could I? This kid could take me in a fight! Hell, bring him around again; I've gotta apologize before he comes after me, hah!"

Kai

From what you said about Kai to your parent before they met him, they assumed he was sort of a bad boy

Which they didn't like. At all.

So when they ask you to bring him home, it's almost like a challenge

And that's certainly how Kai sees it; a challenge to prove his worth

So he trains for it

He works out extra hard, practices his smile in the mirror, tests different greetings

It's silly, but you know that he's probably going to need the practice, what with your parent... being like they are

The practice gives him an air of confidence that actually ends up putting your parent off

Everything else was fine; the handshake, calling them "sir/ma'am," asking polite questions...

It was just that smirk, that total lack of nervousness that put a (deeper than usual) scowl on your parent's face

It wasn't that Kai wasn't nervous; he was just hiding it to seem tough

Eventually he starts to break, and his anxiety finally shines through

Your parent realizes that everything he's been doing has been for them, and he wasn't really like that all the time

And then they're just a little impressed; not much, but just enough so that they don't totally hate him

It'll take time for them to warm up to him, and honestly it'll probably take a bit for Kai to warm up to them, too

Your parent will sort of see themselves in Kai: a fiery young person eager for a fight

And from there they'll be besties tbh; they can relate to each other, and they enjoy testing each other's fierceness

Zane

I don't actually think that Zane will be nervous about your parent being ex-military

If he's feeling any anxiety, it's about meeting your parent in general

He doesn't know why them being ex-military would change things; veteran or not, he needs them to like him

But it does give him a hint on how to please them

He spends a lot of time researching the military, trying to come up with topics to discuss

He's also just trying to understand them better

So when you finally meet, he's almost too perfect in the way he conducts himself

He's quite naturally respectful and pleasant, but it's his knowledge about the military that really gets your parent

The questions he asks are so specific that each one makes your parent's brows jump up for half a second in surprise

They're more than happy to answer the question, of course; they're just impressed that he knew to ask

And when he leaves your parent is actually the one asking if he'd like to come over again

Tbh they just want to answer more of his questions

Needless to say, they end up liking him a lot; not as your boyfriend, but as a "nice young man"

It's only after the first meeting that they let the idea that this "nice young man" is your boyfriend set in

The change is visible on their face; they just blink with owlish eyes for a second before clapping you on the shoulder with a grin

"You picked a good one, Y/n! He sure knows his stuff!"

And the more he comes around, the more little details your parent learns to like, from his mannerisms to his personality

They don't even care that he's a robot

He's as human to them as anyone :)

Lloyd

He's pretty scared to meet your parent

His experience with parents was definitely... different

He has no idea what to expect when you tell him that your parent is strict/protective

His parents were about as present in his life as strawberries in an apple pie, so he doesn't really have a sense of what real parenting is like

So just add that to the fact that your parent is like the final boss of seeking parent approval

No matter how much you tell him to just be himself, he's convinced that he needs to act a specific way

He has no idea what that "way" is, but he's certain it exists

Unfortunately he doesn't figure it out by the time he's on your porch knocking on the door

So he's forced to follow your advice

His pleasant, agreeable nature does little to impress your parent

It's not that they don't like him, they just think he's a little... plain

But then they see how he treats you

Lloyd didn't know if showing affection for you was against this obscure idea of "ways to act around parents," but he did it anyway

He was as respectful ever in showing his admiration for you

He called you beautiful and kissed your hand, pulled your chair out for you at the dinner table and everything

He was a total gentleman, as always

This is what got your parent to like him

He wasn't just this plain blonde boy who "fooled" you into dating him; suddenly he was a dazzling gentleman with impeccable manners

This impression might've been a bit exaggerated

I mean, Lloyd is just naturally nice like that; he's not trying to be this "perfect" character

But ultimately that's how your parent sees him, which is better than a bad impression (I guess?)

Nya

She's not scared of your parent

No matter how much they might try to intimidate her, she's unflinching in her demeanor around them

Much like Zane, any anxiety she's feeling is because they're your parent, not because they're ex-military

But I don't think she has any reason to worry

She has a strong personality, with brains, brawn, and that fearless air about her

Your parent is impressed at the way she doesn't even seem to notice their glares

She just keeps smiling her little smile, asking another question to get to know your parent or answering their questions

At first your parent is a little irked by the way they can't seem to get to her, but the more she talks the more they realize that there's a reason behind this

She's a genuine toughie; she's seen enough that she's not scared of much anymore

And that's when your parent decides that they like her

I guess they sort of see themself in her

But they also like the fact that, because she's tough like that, she can protect you

And, just as importantly, she can protect herself

To your parent that means that not only is she going to take care of you, but she's going to take care of herself so that she can always be there for you

So they sort of drop the intimidation tactics

Not all the way, just because that's how they are when it comes to you

Just enough to show Nya that they're warming up to her

And she's totally ecstatic about that!

She knows family is important to you, so to be accepted by your parent is fantastic :D

you know the other day I was going through text posts i made in 2024 and found this one

I look at this and it's like: aw that's cute: bro thinks he can watch silly lego show without getting hyperfixated on it. bro does NOT know that he's gonna have multiple SOBBING sessions over these brick people. sweet summer child... sweet summer child......

anyway! I have more thoughts of course. all of the anguish variety (Zane mourning Nya wondering if this is how his friends felt, Jay sitting on Nya's bed holding the yin-yang medalion thingy, Benthomarr blaming himself for giving her the idea, Kai with his parents he now has but without the sister that was his only family for the bulk of his childhood. )

god I remember back in the early seasons not really caring for Jaya (like i didn't HATE it but i found it annoying that Nya needed to be a love interest in the first place) and then skybound happened and after that I was all aboard the ship but then it was just: you know: mostly silly happy cute ship with some angst and trauma on the side!!! now i will be experiencing deep sorrows over these two!!!! arghhhh obsessed with the lightening and water duo aspect also

9. Was she thought to be dead like Zane, Cole, Kai, and Jay, in Hunted?

I honestly don't mind at all you are more than welcome to ask more if you get more questions. Her name is Winter Quartz and I've had her since I was a teen I'm now just redesigning and reworking her. She use to be Floral but I had originally wanted her to be Crystal in which I made her now.

1. Winter first appears a bit after S1 Ep6: The Snake King. She was on a self discovery journey from when Wu started training the first 4 ninja.

2. She joins almost as soon as she returned yet took her time to learn and understand the team before fully joining. She needed to adjust to the suddenly loud setting she was thrown into on her return.

3. Wu is the one to teach her Spinjutzu and to be a ninja while her father is the one to teach her how to use her element. She technically has two teachers.

4. First I'll go into what held her back from her potential: She believes that she needs to be perfect not realizing to be perfect she needs to accept that she is imperfect which is completely natural as nothing is truly "perfect".

Winter unlocks her potential via her sudden realization that no one is perfect during the episode All of Nothing and is the last to unlock her potential.

5. Dating wise she would probably be dating but who she would be dating I don't know. She has retried the perfect match console when it was released tho didn't trust the output.

Lloyd- She is very close to him usually there to support and understand him being his rock at times. She likes being around him and feels bad that he was forced to grow up faster than anyone should. She had gifted him a crystal explaining its spiritual meaning in hopes it helps him. Cole- They had originally bonded over the fact that she is talented in cooking and baking. He is her Taste tester for any new recipes she's trying but he's not helpful in opinions. Once she learned of the Royal Blacksmiths, She loves teasing him and tries to get him to sing and or dance. Kai- He can be way too much for her at times and it the main one making her have to take a step back from the chaos. She not a fan of his hotheaded and impulsive nature but does respect him. She does enjoy seeing how much he cares about his sister and understands he is a good person just sometimes he's a bit much. Jay- Her and him tend to bounce off each other with energy and jokes yet she feels that sometimes he gets annoying to a point. This could be because of their similar personalities but to be honest its a sibling dynamic between the two for the most part from teasing to fighting. Zane- He is one of the few she feels comfortable around and the go to for peace if she doesn't want to be alone. She likes to talk to him to try and understand him better even if so emotions and voice tones are difficult for him. She does try to help him learn and understand but know there's a chance he just doesn't understand, Nya- She respects Nya with her stance of how she's viewed by others. There is some envy mostly because Winter had always wanted a sibling. She enjoys the girls talk they get to do when it was just them as the girls on the team. Its a whole girls empowering girls dynamic. Pixel- She's ok with Pixel. She not close nor does she dislike her. She like that Zane has Pixel and was excited in learning that her hunch that the new Samurai X was her. there's not too much to their relationship Arin- She's still warming up to him especially after everything in the merge. She enjoys his pies and empathizes with him in his lost. Sora- She can see that Sora has potential and that her doubt is holding her out. She helps Lloyd in Sora's training specifically seeing a part of her younger self in Sora Wyldfyre- She's not too fond of Wyldfyre especially when she's so much like Kai. She's trying her best to get along with her but its gonna take more time for her to do so.

8. Winter is very close to her father as he was the one to have raised and taken care of her her whole life he's the reason for why she knows anything about her mother who had died during birth. She was named in honor of her mother.

10. She was thought to be dead but if i change this she would be depressed they where her friends and family and causes her to struggle regaining her control of her elemental power because she can't focus.

Zane from Ninjago for the character ask!

Alright, Zane it is!

How I feel about this character: On a good day, I feel a strong fondness for Zane. Recently has been a bit sour, but fondness from childhood remains

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Cole, Kai, and Jay, mostly. Post season 3 Pixal too

My non-romanitc OTP for this character: Kai. They understand each other so well. Nya too, but there isn't a lot of screen time that is them

My unpopular opinion about this character: This is where things can be dodge-y and sort of... Touch-y? But, honestly, Zane's characterization was better as a human-disguised nindroid. That might be nostalgia speaking, but I believe that Zane as a human was just.. Fitting and more relatable than him being a nindroid roughly 98% of the time.

One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon: I'm glad that he came back in season 4, but genuinely, it sucks what happened to him in season 11. I kind of wish the show called it at season 10 instead of giving Zane more, canonical trauma.

Today's episode is The Ultimate Object of Admiration.

My mind is a static-y television screen making that crunchy static sound when I try to think about what this episode title could mean.

I want to think it's something funny, but it could honestly be something serious. It's probably something serious.

So, in ep1, we got what almost everyone was up to, except Arin and Ras. I'm hoping we get a little bit of them this episode. Just to kind of lead into whatever storyline they have going for them this season. Bc, other than Arin's parents and Ras's master, there's not a whole lot that they can do with them.

At least, that's what it feels like to me.

So, we'll probably get Nya, Kai, and Wyldfyre wandering around and trying to find Jay. This will probably be the B plot this episode, and I feel like it will be until they find Jay.

Which means, Lloyd, Sora, Zane, Frak, and Riyu have the A plot. And that's mostly searching for Arin. I'm thinking they're going to be picking up some clues or something.

Or, oh! What if they find the right location where Ras and Arin are taking shelter, and instead of telling the ninja where they are, they keep Ras and Arin's location a secret. Oooo. That'd be interesting.

I really got no idea what to expect, tbh, so let's just see!

Honestly I'm SO happy to see the ninja use their powers extensively, I feel like the writers finally decided to buff then again, because tbh their powers felt extremely useless in most cases during the wildbrain seasons.

I mean heck they were useless since the Wildbrain seasons whole gimmick was "No powers" or "Vengstone is strong"

Zane and Nya were most prominent in the fire chapter.

Kai was the most prominent in the ice chapter.

None of them were even prominent in Prime Power they straight up had now powers in that season.

All of them were sorta prominent in MotM, but even then their powers were nullified by the Vengstone in the mountain itself.

The Island is an outlier I admit, they used their powers pretty well.

Seabound it was just Nya mostly (and sorta Jay that one time)

Crystalized was yet again, none of them until they unlocked Dragon Form.

Like there's a common theme with their powers being rendered useless in so many situations.

And seeing dragons rising utilise them extensively again is SO GOD DAMN REFRESHING, like hell yeah Spinjitzu is now sorta like mixed with Airjitzu but not really, we saw Kai and Nya use their powers to hover in the air for a few seconds in Writers of Destiny, Lloyd's powers got boosted when Matriarch powered him up, they even use them to close rifts!

DR made me realise how much I missed elemental powers, or making the Ninja sorta OP, like you get some of that pre season feel with how powerful the ninja were (Airjitzu, Elemental Dragons, etc) and it's so nice.
