You or someone else shared a theory about the second season of Percy Jackson taking place in Florida and that was why he used that song in his story post; but, to be honest, I hope that that does not happen. I think he used it because it's one of his favorite songs and that is that. I really hope it's a song collaboration where they're singing. I'm not opposed to him rapping, but I'd love to hear Lin sing more. I feel like he has the potential if he actually tries! I love how he sounded on the ['Hamilton'] cast recording album in "It's Quiet Uptown" (everything before he talks to Eliza). I feel like that pitch...volume...tone (I'm not a music whiz here, sorry!!) suits him best. Is that a mezzo? For anyone who hasn't listened to the album, give "It's Quiet Uptown" a listen. The bit I like is this:

I spend hours in the garden I walk alone to the store And it's quiet uptown I never liked the quiet before I take the children to church on Sunday A sign of the cross at the door And I pray That never used to happen before

The way he sang this is just so calming. I can't write out my thoughts here, but I just love his singing! Anyways, I hope Lin-Manuel Miranda and Taylor Swift collaborate together on a song. I'm not opposed to pop, however, I, personally, would love for it have an indie/alternative vibe like "willow" because that's one of my favorite genres. I would love for him to give a try at different song genres and that is one of them. Omg, I would love for him to drop an indie/alternative album himself in the style of however he sang those lines I wrote above. Now THAT would be a neat surprise from him.

So in my noodle there is a world wherein Temenos is off along on his journey trying to find his answers and he meets Partitio and they team up because, obviously, Partitio isn't going to let it alone once he learns about everything -- especially Crick. And they start bouncing around with the help of the ship. And they get really good at fighting together. Temenos is able to shell out a lot of damage because Partitio can heal himself if need be -- like the man just takes a 2-second breather and suddenly he's right back in there, up front so Temenos can hang back and heal them both if things get ugly. I like to make Temenos a Conjurer as his second job; him being able to keep Partitio and the others safe while also adding elements to every attack is ... it's really fucking brutal. In my game, uh. Paritio is my powerhouse. I like him as a Hunter for his second job and his damage output + being able to sidestep + the elemental kick from Temenos makes things just. It's so fun to sink so many arrows into things and have them just explode. (Also his axe is not something to be messed with. I do see all the 9s sometimes.) So in my noodle they meet up and when they get to the Nameless Village, they don't just end up with someone to help guide them along: someone has to become a beastling to take on that Lost Woods situation. So this means that Partitio volunteers. He and Temenos kind of go around about it for a bit, but there really isn't time with Kaldena already ahead. (She probably would have just. Made one of the Knights do the whole beastling thing, let's be real.) I like to think that after some battles where Temenos is especially happy with how things went -- he will just turn and give Partitio a little smooch. Or in this case, Purrtitio. Mwah.

Anyway, this whole scenario might be something I ... actively write scenes from if people are down for that?

Side Note: wanted to add a bit about me going through a crisis but didn’t know where to add it. So here is some lore about me. Every time I get sick I go through a mental crisis over what ever is happening in my life. Crisis this time was me getting sick after years of not getting sick. Last time was about my relationship status I believe. Now enjoy the art, all of it is exaggerated so fear not, I have done a mental health and physical health check in. I am safe and alright!

As a multishipper I'm thinking about something. As a BKDK fan, I am, I guess preparing for a possibility?

I had a thought with this last chapter, and how this battle is literally about to end. That we are indeed at the very end of the line.

And I am thinking of the "Do your best, Izuku" theme and how everyone started chiming in on it, how it has become basically the closing motif to the battle. And how Tenya brought up the OG, ochako, who said the "Deku" seemed to her like "Do your best", and of course, ochako is seen saying the same.

So my thought is, if Hori is going for a Izu Ocha ending, this might be how it comes about.

(I am not saying it's one hundred percent satisfying, bc once again, Izuku has shown virtually no interest in her beyond friendship, and the relationship, to me, is still thematically and developmentally, one sided.)

So I don't know if hori is going to go with the idea that "do your best" bringing the relationship of Izu Ocha to the forefront after kicking it to the side for so long...but I guess I can see the thematic possibility he MAY be going for if that is the case.

Once again, I am hoping it's not a blatant thing, if anything I'd like no pairing to be outright "canon". Realistically I think that may be the case. Simply bc izu ocha just doesn't have enough reciprocity behind it and, bakudeku...well, obviously is highly unlikely due to the nature of Shonen/cultural precedence by very reason of it being Queer.

I am just thinking about the whole thing and it may be where Izu Ocha enters the Chat again.

As always I am letting Hori cook, and tempering expectations. I don't dislike Izu Ocha so I won't be terribly bummed out, I just wish there was a little more developed into it(namely, on izukus side)
