Ok but like ik you've been talking about werewolves and abo recently but like I need to say this somewhere.

I think yandere and abo is such a underappreciated combo. Especially when most of it that is made(or at least that I've seen) is the classic yandere alpha x omega. Which isnt bad but I feel like there could be so much more.

Where is the yandere omega x alpha who threatens to ruin the alpha's life with false accusations of the alpha forcing themselves on the omega? Or how about yandere omega who doesnt even hide their tendencies because ofc an omega would never behave like that! Then there is the idea that people actively encourage the behavior because(depending on how you write it) omegas are so rare, you dont want them to disappear entirely right?

Tbh my favorite idea is the omega trying to manipulate the alpha with their heat/rut. Like the omega just 'accidentally' getting their heat near the alpha. Or going over to the alpha's house while they're having their rut because they forgot something or someone said the alpha was 'sick' and they wanted to check on them. Maybe the omega even takes something to induce a heat before going over...

Then you have yandere omega who adores a beta. The omega being super clingy and possessive because they have no way to claim, or be claimed. Or using the fact the beta doesn't understand typical social norms with omegas being used against them, so the omega is doing shit that would happen between mates but the beta is none the wiser.

One could also do yandere alpha who has a thing for a beta. The alpha threatening anyone who even tries to get with the beta who's none the wiser. Same with the omega in the fact it really drives them up the wall they have no way to mark you. And oh imagine the alpha practically begging the poor beta over the phone and guilt tripping them into coming over during their rut.

These ideas have been in my head so long and the only reason I even feel the need to say it is because I've been having a certain idea in mind for a Mr. O'hara that wont leave me alone.

You know this actually puts my mind in a little time machine where I once had an idea for like, an afab Reader x Izuku quirkless AU where you're in the same university and you're an athlete (my preference is soccer player) and you eventually notice there's a young man who's a little shorter than you are who seems to always watch your practices and every game, just looking so wide-eyed and impressed as he always seems to look only at you, and it becomes this weird like, you're actually bigger and stronger than him but the little worm starts approaching you and being, uh, unintentionally creepy. He'll want your autograph, say what a big fan he is, how cool you are, shit he'll just greet you with a hug when he knows you don't like him and he doesn't even react when you shove him away. He's just a really clingy fucking uwu bottom and you're kind of wary about him because even though he's smaller than you, there's some suspicious strength in those hugs

Izuku absolutely strikes me as the type, "ohhhh noOooOoo, Reader, what's wrong? Are you in a rut? O-oh no, whatever shall we dooooo" *comes as close to you and touches you as much as he possibly can, deliberately trying to rile you up until youre riding his dick or getting HIM pregnant, also, babytrapping izuku, obviously*

But oh my fucking god my dude don't get me started thinking on ABO shit with Miguel 💦 literally laying in my bed right now thinking about how he's literally taller than my bed is long and really just letting it sink in what an absolute tank that man is. He's the kind of man that can fuck you standing full-Nelson style just holding you up in his arms. There is absolutely no chance in hell you can physically overpower him unless he's like, drunk or drugged or something. And of course now I'm thinking of Miguel hitting the margaritas a little too hard and you snap awake in bed to find your boss who you've never slept with before climbing on top of you, maybe he doesn't even fuck you, he's just so drunk he started thinking about how nice it would be to fall asleep cuddling you and inhaling your scent and you're just caged by this unmoving wall of a man with an iron grip who covers your face in sloppy kisses until he passes out

I feel like I've seen a few posts around where people talk about Spiderpeople having mating seasons or heats or whatever and, really you can just have that as abo, either or. You're just this poor unassuming Beta who thinks you're nothing special until one day you're bringing him a coffee his assistant told you to bring him and, suddenly a man overcome with animalistic need is pinning you against the nearest surface and claiming your mouth with his own. I hate what a basic bitch I am with A x O being my preference but hey, there's a time, place, character, and concept for everything right ;) goddddd Alpha Miguel would fill an Omega partner with so many pups, mf fucks you once and suddenly you're knocked up with triplets.

ummm. Oh god. How to start. Lets see. WELL. In this silly little au (i guess it has become a bit more than just me doodling designs LOL) in my head they have like this sort of zelink dynamic? obviously without all the zelda lore & stuff, just that kind of … okay forgive me I haven’t brushed up on my zelink lore for a good many years but. Like the princess and her personal knight that doesn’t really talk much sort of thing.

this made more sense in my head. But yeah. They have the vibes of zelink ? At least if i remember zelink right, I have a really bad memory :’) not exactly the same, i do think etho talks to joel (whereas if iirc link never really talks) - especially after getting to know him a bit - but just. they have the Vibes. You know?

I reckon Joel’s definitely very into sculpting in this au, maybe dabbles a little in painting - I imagine mezalea to be very heavy on art and expression in general. think you’d especially see lots of pottery and textiles all around the place. He probably also has an interest in some form of like. um. whats the word. Some sort of … fighting. lmao. Specifically thinking of fencing, i had this idea in my head that he’s watched Etho practice outside the palace at some point and is just absolutely fascinated and enamored. by both the practice and etho himself haha.

and for etho… talented swordsman? he is Not washed. i dont really have many ideas for his character in this au To be completely honest, mostly just of his personality. Although, I alsooo think he’s probably not actually from mezalea? I like to draw him with those pointy elf ears, and i think mezaleans are just humans. I cant remember if thats canon or not but um. mezaleans have human ears, so i’d imagine etho’s probably from like.. rivendelle? Is that. What it’s called. The elf guys? Are they elves??? Goodness I cant remember. Grimlands would make sense too since i THINK they’re kind of like. technical engineer guys? but i dont know what species they are um so ,,, yeah,,,,

i think joel’s probably a bit put off by etho at first, mostly just because he’s not super enthused about the idea of a personal guard, but also because the guys a bit odd, you know? but he’s also probably suuuper intrigued by him. he wants to figure this new guy out, and when they start talking a bit more, i think. They are both incredibly charmed by the other. head over heels? possibly.

most of my ideas of this au are just little scenes that are cute and silly but dont follow any main plot. I would love to write some one-shots of some of the ideas i have in the future, but as of right now im experiencing a bout of creative burnout and am busy with the holidays - spending time with family, so… not right now lol!

its not often that you see his tentacles out, usually theyre for his hunting as well as defense.. and to look more intimidating. you know, generally not something that he wants you to be around for..

but i think every now and then they creep out during down time with you, perhaps during a cuddling session with your tall monster boyfriend? or maybe you even get him to indulge in "play" (not that kind of play get your mind out of the gutter) and his tentacles slip out, like you guys playing simple games

the image of someone playing tag or hide and seek with the forest demon is making me chuckle, something much needed post mini cry/freak out session LMAO

personally i like to think that he can only half way control his tentacles. like yeah sure when he needs them they're out, but for the most part they do their own thing, you know?

isnt it uncomfortable, with the slight ooze? isnt it too cold? doesnt it at least taste a little off?

torn about it, because on one hand hes used these things to kill. but on the other hand he mostly kills in order to protect his space and to sustain his body, and admin likes thinking that he sometimes gets a bit of guilt. call it him resenting his own existence and simply wanting to be left alone while having a natural curiosity for the world around him even though he only really destroys the life around him

also he doesnt like giving you stuff from victims, and i think he would have similar feelings about his tentacles

and yet... he cant deny, that he can hold you closer with them, that he can keep you nearby with them... and that you love him, and every part of him. undeniably, you do. i dont know, its something that when i think about it, its sweet

this creature is full of resentment, for himself and the world he was put in as well as the one who made him (zalgo cough cough au stuff) but here you are

assuming the reader is a human i think it hits even harder, because youre something that hes built to wreck and destroy. and yet youve given him pause, and that was enough for you to win him over

and you never stop surprising him

morning thoughts about tng bc otherwise ill forget

1) i need to slow the fuck down bc it got better and now im swallowing episodes while only screaming about them @ my bestie. which is great, but i do wanna keep a bit of a record on tumblr and i do like going into the tags of each episode and seeing what people have to say

2) the measure of a man is a VERY good episode, but statfleet is a pile of hot garbage. you're telling me that Data graduated the Academy, went on to actually serve, but it still wasn't determined fully whether he's property? Or was it stated before, and they just didn't inform him of his lack of rights, deciding to let him have this delusion that he's free? I understand that it's a complicated and new situation, but HONESTLY. Legally speaking, Starfleet is not doing their best, but i guess i didn't expect them to lmao

(and i somehow don't feel like that hearing fully resolved his issues with being legally considered less than human. maybe im just pessimistic)

data having tasha's tiny hologram makes me physically unwell.

i did feel a bit uncomfortable that they had to bring up them having sex, bc like...... that's not a measure of humanity. but i get why.

all data's other trinkets and gifts also make me unwell. geordi not being able to put on a brave face and stand with the rest of them too - i really wanna see more geordi in general, i feel like despite him having some moments, i dont know him that well yet.

riker in this episode looks so fuckable idk why. i like that he Explicitly states that Data is his comrade and a friend, so maybe i like him more for the character reasons, but also he looks more um thick than before.

Guinan in this episode provides a much needed point of view, and in general I've been really enjoying this character.

i just found out there is an extended cut of this episode hold the fuck up:

- aw fuck he gave geordi the SH pipe ;—; geordi doesn't seem to be as concerned yet

- they cut a scene where everyone looks at maddox like he's absolutely despicable after he suggests that data works at a carnaval. it's such a good scene though!!!! worf steps forward looking murderous, riker stops him but then roughly manhandles maddox out of the room. that's what ive been really wanting to see, the crew visibly coming together being protective over data.

- ooooh i think that's the first time data used "will" for riker

ooof. 10/10 episode

3) went into watching The Dauphin thinking eh I'll be normal, it's just an episode about Wesley falling in love. was indeed not normal and giggled a lot about Worf talking about courting and how everyone tried to be generally helpful but mostly really weren't. Also Worf having all these protector conversations with Anya was interesting. (anything worf does is interesting to me. show me this guy sneezing and ill be glued to the screen) (it's a little funny that I don't remember the girls name, but I remember Anya. it's 100000% bc it's a more familiar name)

anyway, when Wes was rejecting Salia in the end I couldn't stop thinking about trans allegories even though they definitely didn't mean it that way, and I was about to be sad, but then Wes came around. yay

4) contagion was also a very nice episode. watched it in bed at like 1.30 am so i might've missed something, but i have zero negative things to say about it.

the romulans are interesting to watch, data being incredibly helpful even when blind and dying is amazing and touching. USS Yamato being destroyed in front of them was... Well. I wish Picard would got to finish his conversation with Wesley about it, not because i needed to hear it - it's nothing particularly new. but for Picard and Wesley i think it was an important moment.

riker asking for stones to throw at the romulans was funny. that whole scene was kinda hysterical to me, especially bc i imagine the romulans were having similar frustrations.

again, it's funny but also pretty realistic that they don't actually have anyone on board who would be able to help data when something actually happens. geordi is not an expert in soong type androids and they're just lucky that data basically restarts himself.

I've been listening to a lot of Forestella recently, after a friend introduced me to them. Their voices are just...ugh, so amazing. Can't stop listening. Would highly recommend. They're a Korean group but are classically trained and also sing different songs, different languages.

Favorite Color:

Purple. Love purple shades. But I think my fav one is a rich blue violet or royal violet.

Last Book:

Pride and Predjudice. Always was one of my favs, and had been meaning to reread it. Found out a friend had never read it, so I had to correct that immediately of course, and she enjoyed it too. We have a bunch of new inside jokes from it now. And the movie. So good.

Last Movie:

Last movie I saw in theaters was Wicked. Loved that one a lot. I love musicals, and it brought back my love of this one from when I'd seen it years ago on stage. But the most recent movies I've seen, cause I was on a couple long flights and couldn't sleep, were Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (was disappointed), the Dune movies (thought they were interesting and good), and Kung Fu Panda 4. This movie did not need to exist and I strongly dislike it, but won't get into a full on rant here xD

Last TV Show:

Honestly I don't think I've seen anything new since I watched Good Omens, and then Staged. I'm pretty picky about movies and series these days and very little catches my interest anymore. Have thought about going back and picking up shows/movies Michael Sheen and David Tennant star in, minus Doctor Who cause I feel I dont know enough about the show as a whole to enjoy it with all the seasons and lore I'm behind on lol.

And it's not a tv show, but a stage show...also have seen Michael Sheen's Nye play when it was streaming briefly on YT. Now that was spectacular!

Sweet/Spicy/Savory:

Depends on my mood. I love all of them. Hard to beat a sweet/savory combo. With spice though I like it, but I can only handle so much, even if it has amazing flavor. I can only take "it hurts but tastes so good" for so long xD

Last Thing I Searched Online:

Popular music in Turkey/Thailand/Cambodia/Vietnam. Been traveling the last 2 weeks and keep hearing really catchy music playing around in various places I've been so have been curious so see if there's anything I want to add to my weird collection of music. Haven't had much time to myself to actually sit and go through, but I have the tabs open to do so when able.

Current Obsession:

If you haven't already seen the title on my profile, Good Omens. It's been a bit since I've been this into a series. I love it so much. Genuinely think it saved my life after I've been steadily struggling more with what I suspect is depression, but haven't gained the courage to get it confirmed just yet. Atm I'm back in better spirits thanks to the show and fandom. Getting back into drawing and writing because of it too, which is therapy in itself for me, being able to express myself again, successfully. That drive is back.

Though I also enjoy Pokemon, it's not on the same emotional level as GO.

Looking Forward To:

Getting home LOL. Travelling has been fun but I'm ready to go home and recover from all the socializing and such. Get back to my routines and comforts. And my pets.

work im most proud of and why: im really proud of “sometimes forgetting is for the better”. i really thought no one would be interested in this concept, since it seemed unoriginal to me. but i got nearly 2k hits after uploading the first chapter which surprised me. seeing people find this concept interesting and good makes me so damn happy.

share a favorite review you received: I remember i once got an ask on tumblr that someone said they loved my ghostflower fics and even teared up over them. not to sound mean, but i always feel like i did a good job if i managed to make the reader tear up or cry. it makes me think i managed to capture whatever emotions that scene has well. i also just love all the nice messages and comments i get from my friends.

a time where writing was really, really hard: honestly, recently writing has been difficult. i cant find the motivation to finish my fics and end up working on new projects instead. i have the ideas, i just cant seem to write them down. hopefully i can gather some motivation again soon, because i love writing and wanna finish my fics someday.

a scene or a character you wrote that surprised you: i honestly have no idea, everything ive written for spiderverse surprises me because i had zero interest in the movies before lmao. but i think chapter 4 of “i wouldn’t love you, not in this dimension or another” surprised me when i reread it on call last night. lets just say i forgot how sad i made the first scene 😭

favorite excerpt of you writing: i wish i could put the full scene in here, but it would be too long. i genuinely dont know what i was on while writing this chapter, but its so sad 😭. i was hesitating between this scene or a scene from my arcane fic, but i just love how i wrote this scene.

She eventually heard a mixture of family members and friends talking and crying. It got her curious. She knew she shouldn’t go towards the noise, she was aware of what would happen next. But she wrote this script as an oblivious child, and she was an actress putting on her show, and it must go on like always no matter what. - (“i wouldn’t love you, not in this dimension or another”, chapter 4)

how did you grow as a writer this year: my grammar has gotten better because i actually payed attention in english for once lmao, and i feel like im starting to make my fics longer and more well paced. i used to rush the writing to get to the good parts and wanted to add as many chapters as i could and upload them as frequently as possible, so each chapter was usually 1.5k words and its a single scene. but ive learned to add multiple scenes in one chapter and that its okay to not post too often.

who was your greatest positive influence as a writer this year (could be another writer, beta, cheerleader, etc.): i had a lot of people who kept me going with writing, mainly my online friends and people in discord servers. love you all 💕

any new wisdom you can share with other writers: its your story, so do whatever you want with it! i had times that i wanted to change plot points in my fics because i saw people complain about the trope i would use, but i remind myself that its my story and im writing this because i want to. of course, you need to keep it respectful and not do anything inappropriate with the characters, but be free with your story because despite others not liking it, there are others who will. and most importantly, you are writing because you want to, so dont let others decide what you should and shouldnt do.

any projects you’re looking forward to starting and/or finishing: i cant wait to finish part one of my fake dating au and move onto the sequel, but writers block is being a bitch like usual so its been difficult 😭 im also looking forward to finishing my arcane fic, writing a few one shots and starting a new spiderverse fic inspired by arcane!

swam in an ocean? yep! swam is a strong word though. i've been in and bobbed up and down! i usually run from the tide.

been vegan/vegetarian? both! at different times. it was very much part of my friend and family culture growing up.

gone skinny dipping? yes, in my exs best friends dads girlfriends dead uncles pool :) honestly 10/10 swimming with clothes on is so random? i think its so beautiful how people look under the blue wavy water of the pool.

gone skiing? no i am scared of the snow since learning about crevasses in year 4 and almost falling off a ski lift at a very young age. i do love the cold and the ski lodge episode of gmw though.

how did you first get into fandom? i honestly cant even remember...we all had geocities websites attached by webrings and chatrooms on AIM. there may have been a forum somewhere?

how long have you been engaging with fandom spaces? 25 years I GUESS?? After newsies i went through my weeb era, i dunno if we can call anime fans of the early 2000s a fandom? And then my focus was on WOW for several years. And i was always vaguely apart of the mass effect and dragon age fandoms but when DA:I came out it totally rewired my brain.

how often do you read fanfics? not often anymore. i just dont have time to read usually. thats why i consume so much tv. i need things playing while i work and do chores.

So, surfing \o/

I've daydreamed about it since i was a kid, and had this romantic image of it from like kate b*sworth and r*ip girls, and watching televised competitions. And i honestly never imagined i would ever get to try - lessons are so expensive. I was shocked when my friend offered to teach me, and lent me a practice board. He was awesome, so patient, and answered all my silly questions. And hung out there in the water, 'pushing' the board when it was time for me to try and catch the wave (TRY lol i mostly failed).

But unlike a few years ago, when i got onto a dirt bike for the first time and suddenly discovered something i'd been missing my entire life, yesterday didn't quite live up to the daydream.

For one thing i underestimated how hard it would be for me. My friend who was teaching me said i was a natural but at no point did i feel any confidence on the board, it was mostly a blur of panic lol. I was also shamefully freezing - im used to cold, i prefer the cold here in LA, and back in seattle the water was NEVER warm and they used to make us go swimming at like 5am in 60 degree water. I felt like i should have been used to cold water. But no, lol, instead i was so cold i was shivering. And trying to ignore it, but eventually it got so bad that my friend noticed and gently suggested that we take a break (and then i was like no once more, and then face planted, and popped up and said NO ONE MORE that didnt count)

When we finally did make it to shore we sat there for at least an hour - i pulled the wetsuit top off and bundled up in the towel, and i just couldnt get warm, it was ridiculous -_- the chill went down into my bones like it used to during seattle rain. I was so embarrassed. I dont think i stopped shivering until i got home and bundled up in my chair in the pengu*n's jersey - which its been too hot to even think about putting that on for months now.

I do want to try again - i need to work on my arms a bit i think lmao. But i also asked my friend if could just hang out on the beach and watch him and his buddies surf while i brought my sketchbook which, if im REALLY honest, is probably more my speed. When I was younger I probably would have had a better chance at this.

Thats the thing about all these extreme sports - skiing we could never afford when i was a kid, surfing was over 2 hrs away by car and ferry and required all that equipment, i was quite good at wakeboarding but it was my friends who owned the wakeboard and the speedboat so my opportunities were limited by whenever they invited me, and despite dirt bike riding feeling as if it was the song 'daylight' come to life i took one look at the monthly price tag this 'hobby' would cost and quickly assessed it was out of reach lol.

I actually did vaguely ask my friend about that - his passion for surfing. Cause listening to him describe it, and how dedicated he is to it, made me realize its how i feel about art. (my friend was scandalized when i said this was the first time i made it to the beach all summer, and that i hardly spent any time going out in LA, and that i hadn't been to any of the theme parks since moving here - he was like 'what have you been doing?' - and the answer is, sadly, just sitting in my room drawing mostly). I will give up all the 'hobby's in the world in order to afford more time to draw. Wish my dedication showed a bit more in my skill level :/
