like people are literally making jokes about how people are going to get murdered at this event. holy fuck.
i went to a lot of (pretty big in the earlier years) homestuck meetups from 2014-2018 and like homestuck cosplayers in general have always been such a kind and welcoming group in my experience...
it seems kind of um! bad! that people are making jokes about homestucks being like. "crazy" like in a dangerous way....
#like im trying to think whats the worst thing thats ever happened to me in the presence of homestucks#and the WORST thing i can think of is just. arguing over ships. like im dead serious.#like arguing over ships being âtechnically not incestâ like that was the worst part thats the worst that happened to me lsdkfjsdf#i know other ppl have experienced worse things i know some firsthand stories from old friends as well#but like jesus can we cool it with straight up ableism please#the elitist cosplayers just stuck to their own circle and no one liked them#everyone else was just having fun together#being kind and welcoming and accepting and encouraging#so maybe chill

actually wild to think it's been 10 years since I first met my husband! (technically 9 years and 10 months but who's counting.)
we went to a bunch of homestuck meetups events together for a while until I moved to a different state in late 2012.
but I moved back after a bit, and in 2015 we reconnected! we hung out as friends for a while and then started dating.
in 2017 we moved into an apartment together, and in 2018 we got married.
I really love being married. it feels so good to always have him in my corner.

Anime Conventions You Can Attend Online in 2020
With SARS-CoV-2 continuing to shut down events and businesses, and the potential of a second wave coming later in the year, anime conventions have needed to adapt and consider the safety of bringing large groups of people close together.
As a result, many conventions have shut down for the year, promising to return next time, some have been postponed to see if the COVID-19 situation changes, and others have moved to virtual conventions to adapt to the current environment. For example, our own Crunchyroll Expo is now a virtual convention scheduled for September 4-6.
With all of the confusion and rapid changes though, itâs difficult to know what conventions are still going to happen at all in 2020. To help out, hereâs a list of every anime convention still happening this year, including when itâs occurring and a link to its website for more information. Check back for updates as situations change.
