Counting down the minutes to dive into this 'comfort bowl' tonight! All ingredients are toxin-free organic, purchased from local businesses that support small, sustainable producers ✌ . I slow-cook the chicken carcass for a few days, along with some organic herbs, veggie scraps, & a chunk of Chaga. . Turmeric is great for helping to reduce inflammation, and tastes great, so I highly recommend adding it to all of your soups & stews! This dish is loaded with garlic, onions, squash, potatoes, chicken, cremini mushrooms, cilantro, rosemary, oregano, cayenne pepper, chili powder, marjoram, pink Himalayan salt (great for adding flavour, as well as trace minerals that our bodies require for optimal functioning), pepper, cumin, & all sorts of amazing stuff that is easily found in some ready-made mixes (curry powder, Italian herbal blend, cajun seasoning) . This came together quickly by using precooked leftovers from earlier this week. .
