And make the cup in the drawing into an actual, functional cup!

I took pictures of before and after it was fired with the glaze on

It's not the right colors, but I still love it anyway! I did my own spin on it with the inside of the cup, so I hope Eechy likes the creation I made from their art!! Yippee!!!

So this thought has been stuck in my head for at least a month, soooooooo….

As I was learning French, my teacher would always ensure us that we didn’t need a “French” accent to speak the language, so long as we pronounce the words correctly we’d be fine! He would then demonstrate by putting on a heavy-ass country accent and talked a bit in French (it was hilarious)

This knowledge came back to me a while ago (more like it simply resurfaced) and I immediately thought of our country puppet man Eddie!!

I feel like he’d be fluent in French and speaks it in a veryveryvery heavy accent. But he doesn’t speak it often in the neighborhood since not many other neighbors speak it, so whenever he hears Sally say one of the very few French phrase she knows (feel like she only knows well known phrases like “enchanté” and “je ne said quoi” to sound fancy~) Eddie gets all excited and starts talking to her in French while Sally just stands there not understanding a word being said. But she unintentionally keeps the conversation going by nodding her head/saying “mmm” or “hmmm!” at the right times, thus getting stuck in a loop of one-sided french conversations that she doesn’t understand :)

Personal headcanon that Usopp and Nami bought their mothers' recipes with them on the Merry. Neither family was particularly rich but (and I'm basing this on my family) they have a few notecards with recipes lovingly writing down. They're borderline illegible and probably says things like "a pinch of nutmeg," "enough salt," and "measure garlic with your heart". (Bellemere's orange duck recipe is there, and I don't remember Banchina cooking, but maybe she has pie or fudge recipes that Usopp barely remembers anymore).

Sanji loves them and tries to recreate them whenever possible, especially if it seems like some comfort food is needed or if someone just really needs a pick me up. They are treated with upmost care and kept safe to avoid damage.

I really appreciate the way this show is using their sex scenes/almost sex scenes.

There is such a huge contrast between Ming summoning Joe to an impersonal location, ordering him to shower before he touches him and then immediately turning Joe around so he can't see his face. All the while Joe is telling himself he just has to do it, because him and his mom need this money.

Versus Ming recreating the night they met (meanwhile saying virtually nothing and letting the memories do the heavy lifting), kissing Joe in the same spot where they had their first kiss, walking him through the house while being glued to him, no shower required btw, in fact the dirtier the better. And staring him directly in the face as he takes his pants off.

While Joe responds enthusiastically, ripping his own clothes off while thinking about how he still has feelings for Ming. Those are two wildly different situations.

As silly as the whole sneeze thing seems, I appreciate that they still gave the situation around it the attention and seriousness it deserves. I'm glad that they made this a moment that was clearly not a contracted obligation, it was a successful seduction.

Had Ming not been right then none of this would have mattered to Joe. But as soon as he rounds that corner and sees his own car he's pulled back into the memory of how they started and what it was like to fall in love with Ming.

That's so clever on Ming's part because this only works as a seduction if he's right and this is his Joe. Like, he got that sneeze by reminding Joe that they were both hooked from the start in their own ways. He wanted Joe so worked up that he didn't think for a second about what that sneeze might tell the man railing him into next week.

And like... it worked. So props to Ming and his powers of dicknotization (am I spelling that right?) he fucked Joe so good he drew a sneeze from his soul. Congrats to the both of you on that one tbh anyway this show is the shit and I'm having a lot of fun watching it.

Your characters just feel so lived in like they have life to them, it's such a charming part of your art I wish I could emulate.

😭💗 means a lot to me when you guys say that,,,,,,, I think fan art starts to feel more authentic and tangible when you let go of pure visuals (redrawing models) and try to express the interpersonal implications, I hope this makes sense lol

You know you're a nerd chose the right major when you get excited over a new textbook. One of the researchers at the Institute (where I did my internship) turned out to be a graduate of my faculty :) His PhD research was related to spectroscopy, so when he found out I was interested in this topic, he recommended a textbook to me. It arrived this morning and it's a treat <3

I had a dream, Party Coffin, or Clown, as I shall call them, was streaming on youtube, rating every Welcome home OC made in one enormous power point. there was no sound or voice over, they simply went through each OC and wrote a few words before moving on to the next. The only part I truly remember was Clown pausing on a hyper realistic photo of a stone pillar, no name, and wrote, Finally, a Friend for Home, and left it at that. No one claimed the pillar as their OC
