Yesterday was a DREAM. And I’m still freaking out. Comic Con #1 is officially in the books. I was lucky enough to get a photo with Matt Smith, Tom Glynn-Carney, and Fabien Frankel at New York Comic Con. I was also excited to have Tom and Fabien both sign my original hardback copy of Fire and Blood. I couldn’t afford an autograph from Matt Smith, but that’s okay. I just want to point out that Fabien took a picture of my shirt, which I’ll post below, and sent it to Olivia. I was FREAKING OUT. He was so incredibly sweet. Tom also told me I looked cool and I completely blanked. He was just so adorable I didn’t know what to say.🫠 I made both Tom and Fabien bracelets and they put them on instantly.

ALSO CAN WE TALK SBOUT THE WAY FABIEN JIST GRABBED ME. Right before he took the picture he did the whole “watching you” eye motion to Matt. I had just met him like ten minutes prior when he commented on my shirt. 10/10 experience. I will never recover

Okay, so, I just had an epiphany. The ROTTMNT Fandom in general headcanon that Raph died first in the apocalypse, therefore, Casey Jr. never met him, and this usually leads to fanfics where Casey Jr. either

1) deifies Raph due to the stories of a protector that was "bigger than mountains."

Or

2) doesn't really interact with him because of the unfamiliarity.

Usually both. BUT what if Casey Jr. interacts with Raph (and possibly favors him) for those very reasons, what if Casey likes spending time with Raph because

1) he has a chance to be (best) friends with THE Raphael, the one he grew up with fairytales of.

And

2) Raph is unfamiliar, he's a friend who already knows his apocalypse situation, lives with him, and one that doesn't need a lot of social interaction with because he already knows Raph on a surface level, so, no awkward 'complete strangers' phase. But he doesn't come with the bittersweet feeling of knowing someone but them not knowing you, for Casey Jr. this is probably felt like it started out as a parasocial relationship.

(I NOW OFFICIALLY CALL DIBS ON THIS IDEA, I'M GONNA WRITE MAKE A DRAFT FOR THIS RIGHT NOW!!!)

I DID IT, Oh my hand hurts... I really want to thank @ilaac-art for allowing me to use their Cell design because wow, I absolutely love it! The main theme for this one was kinda trying to reference both Cell and Spearmaster with the holes in the tail and all?? Went off of track and had an excuse to simply do all of this. I really hope you like it! I know I'm repeating myself but check out @ilaac-art 's blog. It's amazing and I just love the attention to details. Thanks again!
