I like its texture and wanted to somehow use the concept that it paralyzes everything it covers once it becomes solid

I started drawing something dark, but then I thought it would be much cooler if the subject was someone aesthetically opposite to the original concept!🎀

I love the contrast of completely different elements and it's something I wish more people would do when choosing the style that best represents them, why choose just one thing when you can be everything?🌟

I keep meaning to take pictures of this while the sun is out but. well. it's late November in the PNW

Anyway after MUCH trial and heartache this cat is finally done 😭 The eyes were originally also going to be embroidered patches but the ones I bought were much too small, and I couldn't find any others that looked right so I had to switch to safety eyes, which meant I also had to open it back up and take all the stuffing out to attach them as well as the paws, which I thought I'd be able to stitch on from the outside but it wasn't working. I sewed one of the ears on crooked multiple times, did like three passes on the fur trimming because it never felt like enough, had to redo the nose, tried and failed to do thread-sculpted toes because the fur was too long... I admit I kinda fell out of love with it by the end 😑 BUT after giving myself a couple days to sit with the finished project I've re-grown fond of it again, giant paws and underbite and all lmao. Ultimately it was always meant as a gift for someone else and THEY love it so that's all that really matters.
