Can I just say, as a Holmescest shipper, a surprising number of evidence John/lockers claim are proof of JL can be used as Holmescest proof? It happens so often?
Like when a TJ*C video stated how romantic it is to say "I will always be there for you" and I just paused. I actually couldn't believe it. Someone that I know adores TAB and watched it countless times and I am supposed to believe they genuinely didn't remember Mycroft says that? (Their usage was referring to Sherlock's vow to John, Mary and their child)
Or this. Quote:
“You will look after him for me, won’t you?”
I feel like that line hides so much more pain than it shows. I feel like it’s a “look after him for me, please. Take care of him, cherish him, love him for me. Hug him, kiss him for me, instead of me, cause that’s what he wants, that’s what makes him happy, so that’s what I want too, although it pains me to say it.”
End quote.
This is about Sherlock saying it to Mary. And it's not even a completed parralel in the case of John and Sherlock.
However...
"Look after him, please?"
"Make sure he's looked after."
Or those about the eye-fucking and the cigarette metaphor. Or when someone claimed John not being able to shoot the governer was a sexual metaphor about his repressed bisexuality because guns are dicks and the governer is a man...
In the same episode where Sherlock points his gun at Mycroft and doesn't even for a moment consider pointing it at the John. And all three of them know that.
Tumblr media
Totally unrelated gif ;)
That one would be hilarious if it wasn't linked to The Gun Scene. Or maybe this way I can finally channel it into something positive? Small mercies.
I wonder if it's just because people are uncomfortable with incestuous implications, is it bias because they only ship JL, or they do see it and hope we never notice? Do they not want to admit to seeing it because they think the act of noticing it makes them gross?

Hi, do you have any recs for Homescest? Where they're both of age (!), bonus points if it's angsty?
Hey Nonny!
Ah, unfortunately I am the worst person to ask for these fics, as they're not my cup of tea so I have no personal recs. I skimmed my offline filed lists of fics suggested in the past and here's what came up with the tag search:
Legwork by julieta (E, 5,418 w. || Holmescest, Threesome [J/S/M]) – “I’m sure you won’t be offended when I say that you will essentially be a substitute for me."or, John fucks Sherlock because Mycroft won't. Part 1 of Legwork
Cake and Other Sins by  Indybaggins (E, 100,670 w., 8 Ch. || Great British Bakeoff AU || Alternate First Meeting, Angst, Baking, Desire, Disability, Incest (Holmescest/Holmescest with John), Masturbation, Falling in Love, Oral, Outdoor Sex, Past Drug Use, Poisoning, Voyeurism) – Sherlock and John meet as competing bakers on The Great British Bake Off. There’s intense baking, lush recipes and enticing food. Mycroft, guilt, past sins in chocolate and gingerbread. And love. That too.
Method Act by splix (E, 136,749 w., 20 Ch. || RPF / Actors Meet Characters AU || Bodyswap, Pseudoscience, Magic, Light BDSM, Assorted Actors / Characters, Non-Con Bondage, Non-Sexual Bondage, Implied Relationships, Stalking, Kidnapping, Implied / Referenced Incest) – Something very strange keeps happening at 7:35 PM.
Sherlock discovers the fandom by sherlock221Bismymuse (M, 146,579 w., 74 Ch. || Bratty Sherlock, Meta Fic, BAMF Greg, BAMF Anthea, BAMF Mary, John’s Internalized Homophobia, In-Universe RPF, Holmescest, Various Pairings) – Sherlock is bored. So he does what any bored person does. He googles himself.
======
Again it's not something I read myself, but if anyone has some they want to suggest to Nonny (if you want to remain anonymous to suggest, send an ask :)), please do! <3

Can we talk about the airplane scene in TAB though? Can we talk about how Mycroft cares so much about his little brother and his little brother depends on him so much, even when they don’t want to admit it? Can we talk about how it’s completely canon that there was a stretch of time in which Sherlock was REALLY struggling with his addiction and there was no John/Lestrade/Molly/Mrs Hudson to look out for him. Only Mycroft. Always Mycroft.
What Mycroft says on the plane about how “I’m not angry, just disappointed.” And “Did you make a list?” And “I was there for you before, I’ll be there for you again, I’ll always be there for you.” is absolutely something that he’s gotten use to saying. He’s not surprised or shocked or outraged, he is literally a man who’s been in this exact situation before and knows how this goes. And he’s been there for Sherlock every single time.
Because no matter how profound Sherlock’s bond is with John or Mary or whoever, no matter how much he cares about them and they care about him... they’ll never be Mycroft. These two grew up together, they have the same family, the same background (up to a point), they’re so much more connected than anyone else on the show, they know eachother better than anyone else ever could.
Like... can we just say screw everyone else for one minute? I need all the fanfics about Mycroft helping Sherlock through detox and withdrawal. Can I get a fic where Sherlock breaks into Mycroft’s house when he’s bored and they just hang out together, however begrudgingly? I want a fic where their parents are aloof and distracted so Mycroft takes Sherlock in when he’s old enough. Like give me 20-something Mycroft trying to navigate uni and career building all the while playing parent to his 14 year old younger brother? I need drabbles where they laugh together and have inside jokes, even though they’re few and far between. Literally just give me the Holmes brothers being Brothers™️ and I will be over the moon.

I mostly agree with this reading, and I'd like to add something from this scene that tjlc-ers consistently ignore:
SHERLOCK: What do real people have, then, in their ‘real lives’?
JOHN: Friends; people they know; people they like; people they don’t like ... Girlfriends, boyfriends ...
SHERLOCK: Yes, well, as I was saying – dull.
Sherlock is *clearly* saying he thinks all romantic relationships (boyfriends AND girlfriends) are dull. He makes no distinction between the two until John does.
Refutation: Angelo's

Would you be willing to do all of the salty questions with bbc sherlock? 👀 (if not then 3 and 7)
What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?* I’m not really sure why people ship Holmescest? To each their own, but I don’t get it.
Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?* Jlock, and even that’s with a more fanon John.
Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion? Oh yeah. I’m anti-TJLC (but not anti Jlock) and I’ve been followed by some TJLC-positive blogs so sometimes, depending on how rabid they are, I block them.
Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP?* I’m not super into Jlock, because I write it for friends, but I don’t ship it myself (for BBC Sherlock only...I’m an avid Granada/Ritchie Holmes Jlock shipper)
Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?* The fandom for BBC Sherlock definitely ruined Jlock for me a lot. That’s why all my Jlock fic is AU.
Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?* Yes! I wasn’t a Mystrade shipper at the start and was rather annoyed by another slash ship in the fandom until I read some amazing stuff in the fandom, and now I’m a huge fan of the ship.
Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?* I can still stand it, though not as much, but Mollstrade. Not due to fandom though! Some of the commentary from Rupert Graves skeeved me on the pairing.
Have you received anon hate? What about?* Not so much anon hate, but I mentioned how my son was on the autism spectrum and he was a fan of Benedict’s even after the kerfluffle on stuff he said and someone who was in the Sherlock fandom (and was fairly popular) said I shouldn’t regain custody because I was a shitty parent. I blocked them and took off the dedication for a fic I was going to write for them, but yeah. That stung a lot. But that’s also why I never turn on anon messaging on this blog.
Most disliked character(s)? Why? John Watson. Firstly, I don’t like Martin Freeman much, and secondly, he reminds me way too much of my dad in a bad way.
Most disliked arc? Why? Mary’s death and the aftermath. It was just handled so badly that I still haven’t had the nerve to watch series 4 (I was spoiled to death when it aired and got all the info and meta I needed to write the season without watching it).
Is there an unpopular character you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why? I guess Molly? She gets a lot of shit but I adore her. She’s strong and resiliant and caring and just such a good person.
Is there an unpopular arc that you like that the fandom doesn’t? Why? Maybe Tom? I like it because it shows Molly didn’t spend all her time while Sherlock was “dead” moping around. She moved on, even if it was to a thinly disguised clone.
Unpopular opinion about XXX character? @lady-of-the-spirit picked Irene, and I guess my unpopular opinion is that I like her with Sherlock as a ship. Adlock gets so much shit but it’s intriguing.
Unpopular opinion about your fandom? There are so many misogynists in this fandom. I hate that the male characters have fans that are fans at the expense of the female characters and treat the actresses like shit on social media.
Unpopular opinion about the manga/show? I don’t think there should be a fifth season. It ended at a good spot to let people continue the stories in fic.
If you could change anything in the show, what would you change? Mary would have lived.
Instead of XYZ happening, I would have made ABC happen…I think I would have started the Eurus arc earlier, around series 3? After they got done with Moriarty, they should have started planting seeds for Eurus instead of dropping her on us the way they did.
Does not shipping something ‘popular’ mean you’re in denial and/or biased? According the the fandom, yes. But in my opinion? Much more fun to be a multi-shipper, so the fact I don’t ship the big OTP doesn’t mean anything other than I like to spread myself around and have more couples in my sandbox.
What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom? See the misogyny answer above.
What is the purest ship in the fandom? I don’t think this fandom really has any. Maybe that’s a bad thing, maybe not.
What are your thoughts on crack ships? Love ‘em. My OTP is a Star Trek AOS crossover (McMolly, or Leonard McCoy/Molly Hooper).
Popular character you hate? John Watson
Unpopular character you love? Sally Donovan
Would you recommend XXX to a friend? Why or why not? Honestly, this is one of those shows where I think others have done it better (I happen to also be a huge fan of Elementary), but I would recommend the show for some fine examples of acting on Benedict Cumberbatch and other’s parts and just tell people to avoid the fandom.
How would you end XXX/Would you change the ending of XXX? I wouldn’t change the ending at all. It ended in a really good way after the Eurus stuff.
Most shippable character? Molly Hooper
Least shippable character? Philip Anderson

Johnlock Fic Rec - Meta-Fiction Crossover!
OK, this one is NOT for everyone, because it has the big three that turn some people off: Holmescest, non-consensual sexual acts, and real people characters (plus a good deal of kidnapping and threats of torture). But it also has a Sherlock Holmes and Benedict Cumberbatch who change places with each other and then have to navigate a familiar-but-off universe while not revealing themselves. Plus, Ben is dating Tom Hiddleston, who has a threatening stalker.
My favorite bit is that Sherlock is completely incapable of doing his hair when in Ben’s body, because in Sherlock’s universe it just looks perfect with a shake and a hand-ruffle. It’s a shame that Martin Freeman is written out so early -- I suspect because the author knew that he’d twig to something being wrong right off.

Fics Set in the TAB Universe
Fics set in the TAB universe
These are BBC Sherlock fics set in the universe of the Victorian parts of ‘The Abominable Bride’, not to be confused with fics based on the ACD book canon or any other Victorian-era adaptations.
The fics are grouped here by ship, and listed by length within each pairing. All fics are complete except as noted.
Johnlock
Upon Whom Shall You Call? by May_Shepard. Explicit, Johnlock, 33K. In the two years since the loss of his friend Sherlock Holmes at Reichenbach Falls, John Watson has tried his best to move on. When his maid, Jane, reports hearing noises in the attic of John's house, he begins to hope that Holmes means to contact him from beyond the grave. Unprepared for dealing with the realm of spirits, John agrees to consult with four lady scientists, who promise to use their groundbreaking technologies to help him deal with that which haunts him.
Your Bed Should Be A Refuge by TooManyChoices. Explicit, Johnlock, 11K. Sherlock and John finally face their mutual attraction, but is it too late? John’s married (and happily so). Is there any way that John can have it all?
Impulses by Junejuly15. Mature, Johnlock, 6K. Sherlock and John’s talk about ‘impulses’ in The Abominable Bride’ was touching and rather interesting. This is my take and one possible outcome when John and Sherlock talk about feelings and impulses, and maybe act on them, too…
five times sherlock holmes lied to john watson (and one time he finally told the truth) by miss_frankenstein. General, Johnlock, 6K. “Something in Wilde’s persecution has touched a nerve in Sherlock – snapped that tenuous thread of hope holding him upright – and it feels as if he has taken to bleeding internally.” Set in “The Abominable Bride” universe, this piece adopts a familiar format to chronicle Sherlock’s quiet suffering in the wake of the 1895 Oscar Wilde trials and the particular way they affect his relationship with (and feelings for) John.
Matters of the Heart by VictoriaAGrey. Mature, Johnlock, 4K. After Watson moves back into 221B, Holmes is presented with a case that makes Watson reconsider the nature of their relationship. ///Assume this takes place in the Victorian world Sherlock envisioned in TAB and you’re good to go.///
We Survived by girlofthemirror. Explicit, Johnlock, 3K. Answering two of the important questions left from The Abominable Bride….. 1. When Dr Watson was talking to the paper vendor - where did Holmes poke him to make make him jump so much? 2. When they got back to Baker Street - what was in the hat box? This is celebratory, thesis submission smut. I do hope you enjoy it.
The Greenhouse Affect by sherlock_addict. Explicit, Johnlock, 3K. I am sure the ghost bride appeared enough time later to let the boys finish what they had started. My version of the events that took place in the darkened greenhouse. Smut on its way, you’ve been warned!
Like that wound of mine, Of which none knew by Solitary_Endeavor. Mature, Johnlock, 3K. Holmes wouldn’t be able to help himself, he never could, when it came to John.
The Trial of Sherlock Holmes Series by jenna221b. General, Johnlock, 3K. Scripts based on speculation that Sherlock will be put on trial in The Abominable Bride to parallel the Oscar Wilde Trials of 1895.
Always Wrong, Never Wrong by redscudery. Explicit, Johnlock, 1K. When Sherlock says “Correct me, Doctor”, he means “Please pull my hair and make me come in my fine linen drawers.” John is only too happy to oblige.
One Beard and Two Moustaches by JohnlockInferno. Teen, Johnlock, 1K. Holmes & Watson have a problem. So does Molly. They fix it. Inspired by The Abominable Bride.
Fem!Johnlock
Bloody Balzac! by okapi. Teen, Fem!Johnlock, 17K. Genderswapped Holmes/Watson. Canon-based hijinks.
Indigo by okapi. General, Fem!Johnlock, 1K. Sherlock receives a belated birthday gift from John. Inspired by the blue dressing gown from “The Abominable Bride.”
Viclock
Any Port in a Storm by dioscureantwins. Mature, Viclock, 8K. No, he really should let Trevor run ahead with his dastardly plot and merely twist and knot the manoeuvre into the rope for the rascal to hang himself with.
Sheriarty
Crossed Your Mind (Like a Bullet) by PoppyAlexander. Explicit, Sheriarty, 10K. On six occasions, Moriarty visited Holmes’s manly-smelling rooms, and wanked to the smell of his hair oil on the pillow of his surprisingly comfortable bed.
Distraction by fiveainley_ohmy. Teen, Johnlock, 0.8K. Or, an alternate way the gun blowjob scene I MEAN Holmes vs Moriarty scene could have gone.
Holmescest
Sins of the Flesh by daasgrrl. Explicit, Holmescest, 1K. He stands once more in the Stranger’s Room at the Diogenes, afternoon sunlight filtering weakly through the windows. Dust motes swirl in the shafts of light, the remnants of dead things. Dead hopes, dead dreams, dead desires. Holmescest meta in the form of fic. May be read as a coda - possibly AU - to The Abominable Bride.
MorMor
I’ll Be Your Number One With A Bullet by pocket_companion. NR, MorMor, 1K. The waterfall scene from The Abominable Bride - with one, significant change: Instead of Jim Moriarty gaining power over Sherlock Holmes, it is the other way around. Fortunately, a pretty damn clever handyman reaches the scene just in time…
Mystrade
Share the Stars with You by EventHorizon. Mature, Mystrade, 237K. Set in Victorian times, we find Mycroft as a sedentary man of wealth and power and Greg as an explorer, a true man of action.  Given their opposite natures, could it be these two might actually achieve the one thing neither has ever thought possible - finding someone to love?
Mollstrade
The Case of Doctor Hooper and Inspector Lestrade by Sapphire_Princess. Teen, Mollstrade, 17K. Inspector Gregory Lestrade liked Doctor Hooper and found that the more he spent time with him, the more he wanted to do so. But he wasn’t naive - not in the way Sherlock Holmes thought he was, and he was unfailingly honest with himself. His growing attachment to Doctor Hooper shouldn’t go any further than it had already. Equality for the sexes was one thing, this was quite another.
Mollcroft
Loosening the Strings by bookjunkiecat. Mature, Mollcroft, 2K. It is 1895, London is still firmly ruled by Victorian morals, and women are very much a second class. Molly Hooper has been living a lie for years, presenting herself to the world as Doctor Milton Hooper. Only one man knows her secret, and every Tuesday afternoon she and Mycroft Holmes explore their boundaries together.
Sherlolly
And A Garden, Drenched In Delights by hobbitsdoitbetter. Mature, Sherlolly, 45K. Holmes has always appreciated Hooper’s intellect; It takes a clever woman to fool him, after all. But when he discovers her rather… unladylike reading habits he finds himself distracted beyond all reason: After all, though she pretends to be a man she is a woman, sweet and docile as all her kind are… Isn’t she? So why is she reading contraband books? And why oh why does it bother him so bloody much? AU Abominable Bride Universe, pretty much an excuse for smut.
A Marriage of Minds by Carice. Sherlolly, 13K. I loved 'The Abominable Bride' and our Victorian Holmes and Hooper, so decided to allow myself a little carrying on of the story for Molly. It interested me to think about how things would be for her once she had 'outed' herself to Holmes and the Watsons, as a woman. I guess this is AU because in my story it's genuinely Victorian and not a figment of modern Sherlock's mind. In terms of Molly's role at Bart's as a woman, female doctors, etc. I have not worried too much about period detail because if Moffatt/Gatiss can play around with the timing of the Suffragette movement for dramatic purposes, then I reckon I can be a bit cavalier with some details too.
The Adventure of the St Bartholomew Vampire by darnedchild. Mature, Sherlolly, 19K. Bodies that had been found drained of blood are mysteriously disappearing from the morgue.  Could it be the work of a vampire?  Or is there something even more sinister stalking the dark streets of London? - Written for the Halloween at 221B - A Sherlolly Celebration Fest.  A Victorian vampire story written in several short chapters.
Victorian Secrets Series by MizJoely. General to Explicit, Sherlolly, 13K. Victorian Sherlolly fics and ficlets.
Holding On To You by MangoMartini. Explicit, Sherlolly, 7K. “If I didn’t know any better, Mr. Holmes,” Molly smiles, “I would think you are trying to take advantage of me.” Holmes doesn’t move away. The corners of his lips quirk up into a smile that becomes a laugh that becomes the press of his forehead against hers. She can feel, vividly, the places where his forehead presses against the fringe of the wig. “If I had known that in order to take advantage of you all I had to do was offer you some cocaine, I would have done so years ago.”
Marry Me, Obviously by surrenderdammit. Teen, Sherlolly, 5K. Or, “surrenderdammit’s self-indulgent Victorian!Sherlolly fic”. What is the price of getting Sherlock Holmes to help a hostile morgue director with a secret to hide? “The price, Doctor Hooper, is the truth,” Holmes declared after a few moments of silence. Gesturing for him to sit, Holmes settled down on his preferred armchair and reclined. “I cannot offer my help and discretion if I don’t know exactly what this secret is, lest I end up inadvertently aiding you in whatever sinister business you are hiding.” Taking a deep breath, Hooper nodded. “I suspected as much, though I had hoped I could avoid it. Well, Mr. Holmes….My blackmailer is a man named Thomas Benton, and he wishes to…marry me.”
A Letter to Mary Series by darnedchild. General, Sherlolly, 3K. A short ficlet for Sherlolly Appreciation Week 2016 - Day Two (Canon Compliant - The Sherlock Special (TAB))
A War He Must Lose by Writingwife83. General, Sherlolly, 2K. Molly Hooper believes London can no longer hold a place for her after the things she'd recently done, but Sherlock hopes he can change her mind.
New Beginning by Dreamin. Teen, Sherlolly, 1K. Holmes has a realization about Hooper.
The Work by DamselInDeduction. General, Sherlolly, 1K. “Dr. Hooper, The Work is what sustains me. Without it, I would have no purpose and I’m not sure what my life would become. And that Work is incomplete without you and all you have done for me. ”
Warstan
The Case of the Abominable Bride by Radar_Girl. Teen, Gen, 35K. The Abominable Bride story, but in this version it’s John who’s dreaming of the 19th century. There will be differences in how he views the Victorian world and its characters. He still has to figure out which world is real, how to fix his marriage, save Holmes from drugs and Moriarty, and solve the case of the Abominable Bride. And if he can wake up, where and when will he be? (Hint:not on a plane). Don’t worry, John loves this sort of thing.
Gen
It’s About Time by midnightsnapdragon. General, Gen, 2K. Even when his work brought him to the morgue, and he was met with contempt and a scathing remark, even when Lestrade made a point of forcing her to cooperate, it was a little while before the renowned detective took the trouble to give Dr Hooper a proper once-over. (The church scene in “The Abominable Bride”, from Holmes’s point of view.)
Lessons Learned by sfmpco. Not rated, Gen, 1K. When Billy steals from Mrs. Hudson, it is Sherlock he must face to deal with the consequences.  What Sherlock learns, however, is far more valuable.  Based on the portrayals in THE ABOMINABLE BRIDE but pre-TAB.

Sherlock Fanwork Awards Information!
Sorry I didn’t post this yesterday; I woke up late and was out of the house for hours, and while I’m not quite on top of things today, I wanted to make this post.
Categories
So the general idea is this: there are four major broad categories (Gen, Het, Slash, Femslash) that everything would fall under. The one thing I want to borrow from the SAMFAs is having all of these categories divided into K - T/M - E so that underage fans can participate too. In each broad category except General Meta, there are the main subcategories:
Angst
AU (and by this I mean totally unrelated to the content of Sherlock, like spy AUs, high school/college AUs, etc.)
Canon Divergence (where it's still set in Sherlock proper, just diverges from the canon at some point)
Crossover
Fluff
Long Fic (fics over 15K words...this would be the only fic-centric category, I think)
Obviously, I am open to other genre subcategories. Then, for all of those, they're divided further into media (fanfic, fanvid, fanart, manipulations, gif sets, ship-specific meta) while general meta has its own category with these subcategories:
Series 1-centric
Series 2-centric
Series 3-centric
Series 4-centric
Post-"The Final Problem"
Show As A Whole
Multiple Series (anything crossing over different series but not all 4 + TAB)
Then, if there is a specific ship that is nominated at least THREE times, they'll have their own subcategory. So there could be a category that would read "Slash / Angst / K - T / Johnlock" for example, for all of the angsty Johnlock fics, while the other slash ships compete in a general "Slash /Angst / K - T" category. The one exception, because not all people read it, are the incest ships, and they'd be automatically listed as "Slash / Angst / K - T / Holmescest (Mycroft/Sherlock)" for example.
Eligibility/Voting/Nominations
Ideally, I want everything nominated to have been COMPLETED between January 1st, 2017 to whenever I start nominations (I'd really love to run this contest in January/Febraury 2018 so I can do the whole year, and the URL given for submission needs to lead to a page with a timestamp ), so that way fic that was started in 2015 for example but finished August 2017 could be eligible.
Items can be nominated in as many categories as they fit, but each nomination can only come once. So if one person nominates “The Art Of Love Is Largely The Art Of Persistence” (to use one of my fics) in best Het Longfic and someone else nominates it in Best Het Longfic and Best Het Canon Divergence, it will get a nomination for both categories, and once it’s listed as a nominee in those categories it can’t be nominated for Best Het Longfic or Best Het Canon Divergence again, but is open to other categories it may fit.
A person can also nominate up to two fanworks per specific category, SO LONG as they were finished in 2017. They can be for the same ship or separate ships. Ships and ratings must be included in the nomination email, though I will double check.
Also, as I want this to be as open as possible BUT not be negative, the only thing that are excluded are baited fics/fanvideos/meta/etc. By that I mean the fanwork has been made to piss off other parts of the fandom. So no anti-ship fanworks are allowed and no TLJC stuff. If you guys want awards for those, you can run them yourself. And, as I said above, I will read ever work nominated before I add it to the nominations lists I will have up on Tumblr and Dreamwidth (as my back-up site). Chances are everything for nomination will also be crossposted to @afteriwake, my rec blog, and tagged with “sherlock fanworks awards nominee” so I can have them all in one place.
Voting
I haven’t decided yet whether I will have voting be via email, via a survey or maybe a poll at Dreamwidth, but no one has to vote in every category, however everyone must read/watch everything in the category they're voting on to give it a fair shot. But if I do a survey or a poll it would be a seperate page per general category, and everyone would have to provide an email so they can only vote once.
But that’s about it for now, so if anyone has suggetions for other subcategories or questions, let me know!

To save face he seeks help from one of the bloggers and gains more answers than he had aimed for.
The Acronym by DancingGrimm (T, 15,057 w., 12 Ch.|| Humour) – "'Bee Ay Em Eff'. Hm, that's a new one on me. Do you know what it means, Sherlock?" John might not know what it means, but there are many little ways in which he proves the acronym suits him.
MARKED FOR LATER
A Bit of Light Reading By JustlikeWater (T, 4,904 w., 1 Ch. || Romance, Humour) – While scrolling through the comments section of John's blog one evening, Sherlock discovers that John's fans have drawn some rather interesting conclusions about their relationship, in the form of 'creative fiction'. However, since they can't seem to write anything accurate, Sherlock is forced to take matters into his own hands.
