Baker Street: The Sleep of Reason by Gaedhal (98K, M, Johnlock) This is a Victorian Era story in the "Sherlock Holmes" (2009) Ritchie-verse. The main characters are Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson and is from the doctor's memoirs.

The Last Envoy by Calais_Reno (127K, M, Johnlock) April 1938. As Europe moves towards another war, a lonely envoy arrives from a distant, dying planet. AN: This is science fiction, but not hard SF. Sherlock is a very human alien who comes to Earth with a mission he doesn't completely understand and quickly falls in love-- with the planet, the people, and a certain army doctor. There will be angst: war begins and he is caught up in events he cannot control, while still trying to fulfill his purpose in being here. Missing Pages series by PlaidAdder (115K, T, Johnlock, others) This is a group of interlinked short stories (most between 2000 and 7000 words) which tell the story of how Holmes and Watson really came to be separated at the Reichenbach Falls, and how they found each other again. Each story is in the form of a document--a letter, a journal, a surveillance report, an affidavit, etc.--which is linked to one or more ACD canon tales, and which tells us something about that story that was changed or suppressed in Watson's published account of it.

Lazarus Rising by All_I_need @the-reading-lemon

While investigating an underground fight club in search of a mysterious killer named "Lazarus", Greg Lestrade and Sally Donovan recognise one of the fighters. Unfortunately, Lazarus flees just before they can get John in to make a positive identification. Not that they need him to. Lestrade and Sally know what – or who – they saw. But Sherlock Holmes died 15 months ago. Didn't he?

Suspenseful post-Reichenbach canon divergence. Sherlock is cunning, John is BAMF, both are very smart. And sexy.

Sherlock holds a weeping John in his arms and… does something that will forever change things between them. For better or worse. He fears the latter.

“Sherlock. Look at me. What was that, hm?” John’s jaw was shifting, cheeks hollowed. “Why did you do that?”

Sherlock cleared his throat. His whole body was trembling. He stood up straight, trying to disguise the slight struggle this caused him with his balance (shaking his head to dispel the dizziness), and walked briskly past John. “I apologize,” he said, voice quieter than he intended. “I was quite unaware of myself. I am still in an affected state. You’re only here to mind me, after all. You know I am a recovering addict. It shall never happen again.”

So well written! Heartbreaking! But happy end!

This is part 4 of a series going by the same name. An epic fic and an even more epic series. I love every part! Brilliantly written, emotional, devastating, endearing, hopeful. All the emotions.

You can read part 4 on its own but the fun (pain) is stronger when you at least read part three as well. The Victor Trevor in this series is one of my Top 3 of all time OMCs. A deep valley of pain and sorrow has to be crossed before it can end in Johnlock.

The Secret of Agra by Calais_Reno @calaisreno

A year after The Reichenbach Fall, John learns that Sherlock isn’t dead, but has now found himself in a spot of trouble. John goes after him.

This is a "down the rabbit hole" story, a London Below, a wonderland, an impossible place where missing people find themselves.

It's also a love story about our two heroes desperate to find one another, realising things about themselves and each other.

You can read it as a mystery: Clues, easter eggs, breadcrumbs.

This is a real surreal trip. It's mind-bending and intriguing and I especially liked trying to figure out what is happening. And where. And when. And why. So many puzzles and a completely unique idea for a fic.

(Also, I'm still thinking about Plato's cave.)

Can he complete his initial plan to steal information from Mycroft and what will happen when Sherlock finds out the truth?

Hi, I read this fanfic to do with Sherlock( obviously lol) John and moriarty ages ago but I can’t remember the name for it and it’s really annoying me that i can’t find it.

This is what I remember John and Sherlock get into an argument and John calls Sherlock some nasty names so Sherlock storms out and goes out to see moriarty and have sex in an abandoned warehouse every night and does drugs in the meantime. Sherlock comes back late every night. Mycroft figures out where Sherlock is going and tells John, John follows Sherlock to the warehouse one night because he’s curious and sees what Sherlock is up to, John goes back to the flat and they argue again, mostly for most of the fic but they eventually figure it out.

Pls if anyone has any idea.. put me out of my misery. Iv tried searching up different keywords but nothing.
