if festivals count then warped tour. if not uhhhh. green day played for probably 90 minutes when i saw them in 05. same with when i saw my chem and they did the black parade in full plus a bunch of songs off revenge.

I said I'd answer all my asks no matter what and now I'm getting better motivation lately. Hopefully it stays like this for a bit.

1. what's the best thing that happened to you today?

I scored 100% on an exam for a Level 2 IT Skills module, which I was absolutely surprised on since it's a step up from both Level 1's I previously did. So, that was quite a high!! I needed that.

Warrior Cats type project

So, I love warrior cats, and I really want to use ocs to create a whole story, so I will try to in the future. I have planned this out for a whole year.

The name of the project/series will be The Broken Promise

There are 7 “books” in the “series”

Book 1: A Dangerous Wish

Book 2: Silent Stars

Book 3: Flashfern’s Cry

Book 4: The Rising Moon

Book 5: Rumors of the Wild

Book 6: The New Regret

Book 7: Screams of Sorrow

A Little Background for the story to get you hyped, but more detailed then a blurb :>

Six cats, Morningmoon of ThunderClan, Blizzardsplash of RiverClan, Hollowbranch of WindClan, Flashfern of ShadowClan, Plumleaf of SkyClan, and Olive, soon Gorsebush of the Two-Legs place, eventually WindClan, were secretly chosen by StarClan to fulfill a prophecy. The 6 cats do not know that they were chosen. As apprentices, they were friends, but due to a promise, they refused to acknowledge each other anymore. The six must forget their past and work together to stop corrupt cats from rising to power and destroying their way of life, and loved ones.

I am currently working on the first “book” so it may take a while. I will try to upload my process, plus other things. I have a feeling I will change to conflict and a few minor details to make the story cohesive.

a few notes for niylah’s twd  /  general apocalypse verse:

her parents owned their own trading store where niylah worked while she was a teenager.  she was with both of her parents when the outbreak started,  somewhere around age 19  (roughly 26 by season 10)  

her family was good at collecting a lot of resources,  for their own survival,  but also so that they would have plenty to trade with anyone they met  /  hopefully to bargain with any communities they possibly come across where they might find real shelter.

a few months into being on their own,  niylah’s mother was taken.  this will be expanded on eventually when i figure out the details,  but niylah and her father are almost certain she’s dead,  though there’s always the possibility that she’s still out there + that some day niylah will reunite with her.  niylah and her father looked for mother for months but never came up with anything,  until they eventually found hollowbranch,  

the people of hollowbranch were very welcoming to them,  and niylah and her father were relieved to finally seem to have a home  ---  until the saviors showed up.  niylah’s father was executed along with all the other men over the age of 10.   

niylah moved with them to the place that eventually became oceanside,  and while she loved the people there and loved their new home,  it was still difficult to stay stagnant without her parents being there.  when oceanside finally began to open up to other communities,  niylah was head of trade,  because she liked moving from community to community ---  not just to gather things to help the communities,  but because the connections she could make with them all was really important to her.  she liked feeling like she knew everyone.

at some point,  she was in between communities when someone was badly wounded.  though she hadn’t been medically trained,  she was able to patch them up efficiently and got them back to hilltop.  feeling good about what she had accomplished,  she takes an interest in becoming a doctor,  and as she continues to travel between communities,  she works with each doctor to train + learn as much as she can.  she still mostly lives at oceanside,  but she spends weeks + months at a time in other communities training.
