According to Atlanta Magazine, the Claxton FruitCake produces four million pounds of fruitcake in the fall season.

The cake comes in the “regular” recipe and the “dark” which has spices and molasses added.  Here’s my slice ready to eat accompanied by a cup of green tea.

It’s more fruit and nuts than cake batter. Raisins, orange peel, lemon peel, cherries, walnuts, pecans, pineapple, and the green bits are candied cherries.

I don’t for one minute believe this is the most “re-gifted” present ever. Set all the bad fruitcake jokes aside and give it a try.

ok story time.

so i reblogged that dancing santa and as a kid my grandma had one almost exactly like it. it would sing some kind of dance-y xmas song (jingle bell rock, rockin around the christmas tree, idr) but anyways. i would dance along with it, along with the little booty shake thing... a lot like mean girls. my family would always laugh and cheer for me and stuff. nowadays my grandmother is always going on about how "slutty" and "provocative" i am. hahahahahahahadhghafhga i was just reminded of this when i saw that gif and if she ever says anything nasty to me again, i will just remind her of the dances she let me do as a kid.
