Recipe for Holiday Dressing My friend gave me the recipe for this holiday stuffing. I've been using it for more than fifteen years. My son claims that no other dressing will work for the purpose. 4 cups chicken stock, 2 medium onions chopped, 1 cup butter, 1 large egg, 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning, 1 pound pork sausage, 16 slices white bread torn into pieces, 6 stalks celery chopped, 1 medium green bell pepper chopped, 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1/3 cup milk, 1 package dry cornbread mix, 2 teaspoons dried sage, 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
