Stede could be a handful, but it was moments like this that made it all worth it. He pampered Izzy, loved him so much it was almost frightening. He gave him love every way he could, and Izzy had never felt more whole in his life.

He sighed happily and did as instructed, shutting his eyes. He wasn’t expecting the water, he had to spit some out from his mouth, but as soon as those hands went into his hair, his chest rumbled with a loud purring moan. “ You’re spoiling me.. “ He mumbled dazily with a blissful sigh. He knew what those hands in his hair did to him. Izzy just became goo, completely relaxing into the waters of the tub, and against his husband.

He laughed softly though at his comment. “ Better make it lunch at this rate.. “ Because after this relaxing bath, he was going to pat him back for this kindness with making love to him. He opened his eyes about halfway, turning his head so he could nuzzle into his neck. “ How the fook did I ever get so lucky.. “

Izzy couldn’t help it. Stede would just say things to him no one ever had before, and he simply melted into it. He’d never get used to the compliments, and they always felt so good. It was why he made sure to always compliment Stede, especially when it came to being a captain. He had his faults, but he genuinely cared about his men and they were a family. It was a bond that could not be broken.

So he sat down and watched as his husband lovingly tended to him. He always did this, and the relieved groan that escaped him was a common thing. The false leg rubbed at what remained if the stump of his leg and chaffed his thigh. It all looked so ghastly, but Stede always rubbed the sore flesh and muscle. He always treated him like a human being, and an adoring husband, which just left a small smile in his face.

He lifted his hips so the trousers could come off and he sighed happily, closing his eyes. “ Oh you have no idea how good that feels to me.. “ He purred contently, looking down as he kissed his skin. But having his head so damn close to his groin? Feeling those lips on his skin.. well, his cock did more than just twitch. It grew a little beneath the skimpy rags that were undies, merely at the man’s presence. Fuck, if he kept this up they’d never get in the bath.

“ Now you. “ He insisted, reaching forward to finish unbuttoning his shirt, ushering his arms out of each side and a a dining it to the floor. With how he was sitting, he could lean forward and softly kiss at the supple skin of his shoulder. Well.. he had some burn scars there now. Izzy had them all over too, but they were simply war wounds. He took handfuls of his love handles, then worked his hands around to his belt, unbuckling it.

My Stizzy heart is thinking about Stede reading to Izzy and how much they both enjoy it. Could even be post S2 when Izzy is still recovering and Stede visits him quite often and just starts to read to him once day and Izzy really finds himself enjoying it. He finds Stede’s voice to be soothing, especially with his accent, and is also amused when Stede REALLY gets into the reading — doing unique voices for the different characters, dramatic sound effects etc. Izzy can’t help but find it endearing and even charming even if he won’t admit it out loud… but they grow closer from it. Enjoying each other’s company, Izzy sitting with the crew for story time and even cuddling. He’ll either sit or lay with Stede, leaning against him, while his captain reads to him.

And vise versa, Izzy will sometimes hum or sing for him and I just really feel insane over them. They make my heart feel so full and happy.
