Who is Hofu?

Hofu Phantom Adisa is a gem hybrid like Steven, being the offspring of Black Diamond and a Human man by the name of Jenner Adisa.

Who are Facet X?

Facet x is a group in a universe separate from Hofu’s that is comprised of some OG crystal gems that defected and made their own team shortly after finding out that Rose was really pink diamond. They didn’t want to be on a team that was founded by a liar hence why they made their own, but they still fight with the crystal gems.

What happened to the Phantom X Comic?

It sadly was a bit too ambitious of a project for me at the time and since I started it right when the show ended many of the people I had helping me had left. So I sadly couldn’t continue with it. But I did write out (most of) what I had for the script. Here.

What are Hofu’s powers?

So he has the basic, gem powers like strength, fusion, speed, durability. But he does have some fancy powers he got from his diamond side too.

- Possesion (he can possess any gem or human at will, much stronger than Stevens mind powers)

- light absorption (He is immune to any light based attacks, primarily from other diamonds. Playing off the darkness absorbs all colour theory.)

- Fear manipulation ( He can see and weapon one anyone’s personal fear and trap them within it. When used on gems the stress can make them poof and in some cases shatter.)

- Intangibility (phasing)

- Telekinesis

-His weapons are dual Sickles but he doesn’t use them since they are too lethal for his taste.

-Shadow manipulation (Can bend shadows to his will and use them create weapons. He often prefers to use this since it is less lethal, but still can be just as bad if he loses his temper.)

- shadow Healing + Pink diamond tears (He combines his shadows with the tears of pink diamond and can heal humans and gems. Pink diamond can only heal gems in this au hence why he has to add his powers to the mix.)
