I kind of suspect Shahar is the culprit behind the death of Hunt's mother.

He immediately made the Drop after her death and sooner after joined Shahar's cause. There's a clear power imbalance that Shahar could have took advantage of. Nothing about their relationship from what Hunt said hinted at any love from her side. Hunt views his entire relationship with her in rose-tinted glasses but her not calling him her love or even allowing their relationship to be acknowledged publicly are big red flags.

There's something shady about it. It's possible she wanted him for his powers.

so I had a thought and Seo in Guk the personification of Doom from Doom at Your Service might make a great Hunt (there is a great scene in the show where he breaks a child abusers leg and made every light and car in the vicinity go haywire)

CC 1 Reread

I don’t have anything to back this up, but I wonder if this seventh Asteri was/is the Mother who created Prythian. Maybe she decided she wanted to give life instead of continuing to take it away?

The seventh Asteri also might have had something to do with the rip in the sky that Amren fell through. Could Amren’s name be the name of the fallen Asteri?

The elegant guest room across from the kitchen was spacious and decorated in varying shades of gray and cream accented with pale pink and cornflower blue. Fortunately, in bed The bed could fit Hunt's wings - definitely bought with vanir in mind -

Danika bought that apartment before she died, without telling Bryce, right? Well

I think that in part she planned, after resolving everything about the synth she was going to tell Bryce everything, and she would tell her about the apartment And this, the thing about the bed created for someone Vanir makes me think that maybe she was planning to tell her about Baxian, cause wings and stuff.

I'm sure Danika was not expecting to die, she knew the Risks, but i think she was hopefull that she would figure it out yet she prepared for the worst, and Initially I think she didn't expect the apartment to be just for Bryce, I think at some point she wanted to move there with her and I don't know, start from scratch with the truth, especially because if you pay attention At the beginning of Hoeab, Danika has a strange behavior that goes beyond what is happening in this book, saying that everything was screwed, the stress she had, her reaction to the joke that she hadn't gone out on a date with no one for years (something we know wasn't true) where she responded in a whisper, I'm pretty sure all the secrets were falling on her, and I don't know about this detail, which most likely doesn't mean anything, made me think about it

almost halfway through my (I think) 3rd reread of hoeab and why do I still have the feeling I can only keep like half of the info in my head like it’s so much 😭 if anyone ever wants to summarise all the lore, history, basic world building pls link me

Seriously what happened to hoeab Bryce my beloved! What happened to the Bryce that was so gentle and understanding of Hunt in the shower scene? Now we have a Bryce who doesn't tell Hunt anything and gets angry at him for having trauma

Doing a reread of HOEAB in the lead up to HOFAS and this section jumped out to me when Bryce was explaining alphaholes to Hunt.

"Your favorite hobbies are brooding, fighting, and roaring; you've perfected about thirty different types of snarls and growls; you've got a cabal of hot friends, and the moment one of you mates, the others fall like dominoes, too, and gods help you when you all start having babies-" (HOEAB, Chapter 28)

It's probably nothing, but it has me hoping that we'll see Elriel "fall like dominoes" and join Feysand and Nessian (whether as mates or just choosing each other). I'm trying not to expect to much from HOFAS, since while we will have some ACOTAR time it's primarily a CC book, but hoping for some teases of the future ACOTAR book.
